The problem is - from what I can gather, Ny thinks it okay for HIM to 'perve' over these Nordic belles, but not for Turks to do the same.

Remember when US racists used to use the phrase "That's mighty white of you" to express approval of someone else's actions? All you have to do is be white, and everything you do is automatically civilized because civilization is a white man's thing. Didn't they teach you anything on that stupid planet Earth? It is strange for crowds of people to stare and take pictures at two bathing women and have an army copter look at you on the same day, if it was perfectly normal it wouldn't be in the news. Does it really happen everywhere? When i strole down to the beach i see whole crowds of people sunbathing with no worries about pervers staring at them. Even in the park on a hot day i will see sunbathers minding their own business along with everyone else.

This of course does not make turkey any less of a country, it is just that the culture is different and have completely different attitudes to sex. You would never normally see a semi naked women there so it's a treat to see something like that if you live there. I think that you cannot attack turkey for this and if you do you are prejudice.
