ahh...so you were in that weird "we're not the 'popular' kids, but we're probably more popular" group too? I always loved the fact that the "popular" kids seemed to have fewer true friends. I was always more of a drifter...I had my close friends, but associated with everyone from the drama nerds to band geeks to jocks to smart kids...didn't hurt that the way my school operated reduced the strength of the normal high school cliques.

3: Yeah, it's kinda screwy. I mean, my family is full of tall people, but we all grow so fricking slow, you know. We're above average until we get to about 19, and then we start to really grow. My brother was the same height as my dad (5'8") until he was almost 19; now he's 21 and about 6'1". I'm 5'10", and based on heredity, I should at least be 6'2" by 20; possibly 6'3" by 21.

The shadows just shade you enough so thesunburn isnt obvious, but I guess looking again, your arms and face got burnt. And it makes perfect sense you're staying in the shade.

Oh, you mean like reading books? Yeah, I've gone through three 400 page size 8 type paper back books in a month. Kind of running out. Being on NS? When no one is posting, it somewhat gets boring. Video/PC games? I've sucked the entertainment dry from them. Listening to my indie rock or classical? After hearing the same song in an excess of one hundred times, it gets boring. Television? Nothing good on besides Star Trek, and OnDemand always has to wait friggin a month before they put a new episode of a series up. Yep, kind of shot everything down.

Right, 13 is WAY too young to know what you want, and seriously, online girlfriends are kinda sad. I mean, what's in it only talking, sharing the occassional photo and you getting really frustrated.

No. It's the only day of the week that Gamers Keep opens up for both of those games. I kind of alternate between the two simuontaneslousy (Sp, I know). So when the DM is making a move, I make a move in WH40K.

Join a club? I kicked ass (literally) at martial arts for six years, trained three times a week and loved it. It doesn't have to be a sport, an academic club/society would be cool too. Life doesn't have to revolve around sci-fi and fantasy, and academic achievements. Broaden your horizons a bit.

The best way to find a girlfriend is to stop looking, gain confidence in yourself, take good care of yourself and talk to girls, not like a potential girlfriend, but as a friend. Having female friends is important, gives you balance, and gives you the opportunity to get to know what girls like in a no stress situation. Give it a try. I have loads of male friends, I never flirt with them, and they give me a whole new perspective on guys. Besides, you want your girlfriend to be your friend too ;)

I'm pretty sure The Plutonian Empire has never had a girlfriend, and he's at least twenty one. As a matter of fact it's about all I ever see him talk about. So the "I'm so pitiful cause I never had a girlfriend", scthick is really annoying, especially when your only 14. I'm 19, and I've only had one girlfriend, and it was fairly recently. Really the more you complain, the less people will like you. Besides girls your age are really fickle. Just get out and be yourself, people think I'm strange, but they think I'm fun.

Somewhere in the middle of shoreline of Shediac Bay, New Brunswick. It would have been probably 10-40km east of the Parlee Beach Provincial Park. I spent a little while collecting mussels on the beach and cooked them up at the park.
