Well that was spontaneous.

*slowly dozes off in his chair*

* Raven looked out the window and saw a full moon peeking out of the clouds
perfect she thought ans she got up and quietly skiped out the door, when she got to the beach and started to laugh as she danced with the wind if only every night could be this way she started to silenty cry as she thought of her home*

* as she danced she pulled out a small knife and set on her hand several tears droped glisening on to the blood red blade, she wisperd and the knife hung in the air as she danced danced the wind pulling her to and frow across the beach she whispered and the blade sped through the air. she stoped and waited untill it was right in front of her, she giggled and rolled out of the way soon her ringing laugh filled the air as she and the knife apperd to wound there way in out of the palms*

His voice embraced her mind; seduced every thought in range. The child reached for her, rain on its face, and cried for her. Red screened her vision, and she sank into oblivion. He wrapped his arms around her; whispered sweet nothings into her hair. And she had the audacity to believe him.

Noire woke, startled. She'd slept unusually well, but for some reason, remembered a child calling for her. Glancing around the room, she looked to see if it was there... but was met with empty walls. Shrugging, she stumbled from bed and dressed herself in her traditional black pants, t-shirt, and trenchcoat. Collapsing to the floor, she tugged on her boots, and sauntered down the stairs.

She was puzzled. She felt guilty over something, and didn't know what. Shrugging it off, she reached the bar and plunked down on a stool.

* Raven wondered back in to the bar and sat down next to Noire*
" you ok, you look worried"

*This time when she appeared she wasn't drawn as strongly inside. Instead she decided to explore the ocean she had seen several times through the window. She walked along a carefully manicured path around the front door and out to the back where a beautiful beach and a dark ocean gleamed. It was nothing like what she'd seen from home.*

Noticing Raven, she wiped the emotion from her visage. "Nah, I'm fine. Just..." She shook her head, clearing it, and grinned. "I honestly don't even know."

Dark flame flared around her fingers, and she downed half of the resulting vodka bottle.

She gestured with it, and added, "Want something to drink?"

ooc: Gah. Not getting sent my note-ee-fee-kay-shun e-mails again. :(

*The dim light glinted softly off the dark water. It was calm and dark with the mystery of infinity but in a way it was as imprisoned as she was*

She handed the woman the lemonade that built itself from the fire.

"There you go.. How's life been treating you, anyway?"

She nodded. "It's been treating me... boringly, which causes me to be, well, bored." She grinned, then raised an eyebrow questioningly.

Having polished off the bottle, black flames filled it, and turned to vodka once more. Noire took a sip, waiting for Raven's reply.

"well first of all iam running from an arranged marriage, and i found this place"

The word 'marriage' shook her; awakened the buried melancholy. She hastily buried it again.

Weird. I'm probably going crazy, that's all. Noire grinned to herself, then to Raven. "Arranged marriage, huh? I can imagine that'd be rather annoying for you."

" yah considering he was older than my dad, we never actualy got married, thank god, but it was close- i ran away the night befor"

Noire grinned, and raised her now-empty vodka bottle to her. "Good for you." Dark fire filled it again, and she took another sip.

"Yeesh... older than your dad. Why would your parents want to set you up with this man?"

She looked cheerily into the bottom of her vodka bottle. "I'm beginning to think I'm becoming an alcoholic."

She tossed her head back and laughed. "Marriage would change you? I've seen marriage occasionally make bad habits worse." Cocking her head, she glanced down to the bottle of vodka. "Nah... I like cold sake, too. With ice. Just lately, I've been craving vodka."

" fat ,old, rich, ugly as hell to- your right if i had marride him my habbit would have gotten a lot worse"

Noire cracked up. "Well, that sucks. Can't say I blame you for running."

Grinning, she added, "Well, I'm only twenty, so legally, I can't necessarily drink, but no one here seems to mind. I'm unaffected by alcohol, anyway. I never get drunk. I just like the taste. Anyway," she stood, "I need to be going to bed. I haven't gotten a decent sleep in ages." Climbing the stairs, she opened and shut her room door, and after changing and curling into the sheets, fell asleep immediately.

He silently promised her the world.

The screaming entwined into her thought-processes. Nonsensical death; pure whimsy, wet the ground behind her, and he caught her hand, reminding her why it had to be done. She protested. It wasn't supposed to happen this way. The voice rested his hand on her head, toying with her hair, assuring her it was the only way; it had to be done. The child before them disappeared; colors swirled and told her that this was her future. This was what needed to be.

She woke screaming her denial.

Lying on the bed, she sobbed, not knowing why she felt as though she had to.

Suddenly, anger overtook. She stood from the bed abruptly and dressed jerkily, wiping the water from the bridge of her nose. Unsheathing her katanas and tugging her trenchcoat on hurridly, she stalked from the club.

Things were going to die today.

*upon entering the room he notcied that there was window open, the current was bloated and lazily moving with the breeze that had entered the room. There was a slight chill so he closed the window and went to go fix himself a drink.*

Already glowing faintly, Noire started the slow healing process. Plopping down by the bar counter, she smiled weakly at Ju, and laid the katana on the counter. Gesturing to it, she said, "Sorry about the mess... but could you get me some wet and/or dry towels? I need to clean my baby."

Noire patted the katana affectionately.

She stalked back through the door, feeling a little better. Fighting always cheered her up.

Having gotten rid of most of the blood, she attempted to rid her hair of its red streaks, and the wounds gave off a faint glow as they slowly went about the healing process. The bruise wasn't going away, but she shrugged it off and slid the now new-looking katana into its sheath.
