Zat, for once in the time he could remember, had no weight on his heart. He decided to use that opprotunity to view the beautiful sights of the out doors.

Meg walked downstairs in a huge black coat with a plastic bag on her head.

Noire rolled over in her sleep, suddenly restless. She rolled off the bed, and landed with a thump on the floor. "Ow. Damn. I've been doing this a lot." She stood groggily, rubbing at her eyes, and glanced in the mirror. "It's gonna take a lot to get rid of this bruise from yesterday..." Gingerly touching her eye, which was puffy; the skin around it a purple-blue; she glowed faintly for a moment. The swelling went down, and the vibrant color faded to a paler version of it's predecessor.

That's a bit better.

Walking over to the closet, she found her dress, and tugged it on. It was black, like everything else she owned, but unlike her traditional plain style, this was actually cute. Instead of a straight black color, it was more of a charcoal grey, and was fashioned somewhat like a lace-enhanced vintage party dress from the fifties. The hemline hit her at knee level, and the sleeves were short, and more off the shoulder, giving the neckline an almost rounded, rectangular look. A black piece of lace tied about her neck had a Victorian-style charm on it, with the head of a woman in white relief. Her short white hair was swept into an updo; one piece had escaped its hold on the right side, and drifted down into a curl beside her face. She couldn't bring herself to put earrings on, and kept her traditional shuriken dangling from her left earlobe.

Cute, black ballet flats with eyelet work completed the outfit.

Glancing into the mirror, she looked at herself in shock. Holy crap. I can't go out there looking like this. It's weird! ...Maybe if I just slip downstairs quickly, and sit on the sofa, no one will really notice. I mean, I can't go in my trenchcoat.

To make herself feel better, she strapped several throwing knives around her upper thigh, hidden by the dress. Grabbing the card with the money from herself and the Tiffany vase from Kuro and Persiph, she slipped down the stairs, putting the gifts on the bar counter and seating herself in her usual spot on the sofa by the fireplace.

*ju wanders outside... still searching the area.*
