Paradise Beach Club is now Open

Sandy beaches, pool tables, bar, booths, food and drink, beautiful scenery, a Small Casino in the basement, and a subtly placed book of beach hooker numbers. The newly licensed club has it all. Stop by and lay in the sun, enjoy the ocean and stay the night in one of the many cabanas... Or possibly to get totally ratted, cashed, knackered. (Choose your own word.) Enjoy the excellent food, or just chat with friends and enjoy the atmosphere... Indeed, maybe all at once! It’s all good. Feel free to grab a complimentary towel and explore the sun-drenched beaches or fully fitted swimming pool.

She woke up slowly, pale eyes blinking sleepily. Noire went to run her hands through her hair, and realized she still had blood on her. Damn. I must look pretty... interesting. She laughed to herself, and stretched, yawning.

Mmm... do I still have my key to my room here?

She checked several pockets of the trenchcoat before finally coming up with the key. Okay, so the order of the day... I do believe today's the wedding. I should probably wash my clothes while I shower... actually, I should probably find something nice to wear. Noire rolled her eyes. That means I have to go shopping. Great. I dislike weddings. But then again, it is Rambo's wedding, and one always must attend an old drinking buddy's wedding.

Grinning to herself, she stood and left to her room. Unlocking it, she found it in a decent state; she'd cleaned the place up the last time she'd used it. She brought her clothes down to the laundry room after pulling on a black bathrobe that had been in the closet, and shoved everything into it, including the de-metalized trenchcoat. Wandering back, she stepped into the shower.

She hung her towels up over the hook, and opened her door, going down to the laundry room and changing all her wet clothes over to the dryer. Walking past her room, she closed the door on the way and padded barefoot down the stairs to the kitchen. "Holy crap. I've never been in here, come to think of it."

Noire dug through the food, looking for eggs and bacon. Finding both, she proceeded to make some scrambled eggs; when finished she seated herself at the bar and promptly began to stuff her face.

Damn, I'm hungry. Her stomach growled again.

I usually go with crystal. It isn't unusual just to put a check in a card. I do that a lot too. Then they can buy what they need. Instead of saying "Another fucking toaster! That makes eight!" *laughs*

ooc: No, I haven't. I'm more of a Sprite/Mountain Dew/Canada Dry person... but I'll have to try it sometime. Everyone is telling me it's really good.

ooc: I have to go for a while. Wash this conditioning oil goop out of my hair. I can't believe what that flat iron did to it. Even after being cut it is still damaged big time. (Not as bad as when I lit my hair on fire. I did that twice :D ) If you're not supposed to use a flat iron on 400 degrees, they shouldn't MAKE it that way, or at least have a warning that if you don't have virgin hair you can't use it that way... :headbang: Maybe I'll have Mr. H. take a pic so you can see how much was chopped off. Hi everyone, just dropping by to say hi. I am in my dorm at Georgia Tech!

I have things to do now, but I just wanted to say hi!

She stumbled in the door, bags in hand. She'd gotten the dress and shoes at a decent price, and the card had been bought. Not being one for sentementialty, the card simply read on the front, "Congratulations!" and had a picture of a bride and groom on it. The inside stated, "Hope your wedding and years to come are happy ones."

Noire dragged all her stuff back up to her room, and signed the card, and a check for five hundred dollars that she placed in the card. Stuffing both into an envelope, she scrawled "Rambo and Meg" on the front, and dropped it onto her bureau. Pulling her dress out of the bag, she hung it in the closet and collapsed across her bed.

I could use a nap... She closed her eyes, drifting off to hallucinations of grey mist that smelled of men's colonge.

Meg paraded around her room with the dress on, she had two dresses, one for the ceremony and one for the afterparty.

The apple green silk dress that Meg gave her was layered just so...and set off her figure.
The pale cream rosebuds the hairdresser had woven through her hair showed nicely against the copper coloured tresses, and her comfy silver sandals went with the whole outfit well enough.*

I hope I'm neither too late or too early....I'd hate to be first there!
