Yeah. I think we should move to a new thread before we reach Page 40. By then, chaos usually takes full control. So, NK, LGD, whomever starts the new thread, I think the first post should consist of: Characters, Credits, and the First Act and whatever else we have by then. Order is yay.

EDIT: Kudos on the provider. By the by, can anyone help out with the real credit titles from musicals and what not? We might want to be a bit more specific than just "Writer" and "Musician", etc.

Good point on the new thread creation. However, since this is Neo K's idea originally, I think it'd be best if he created it, so no one would be confused as to who originally came up with it.

it can have its own website! (if nobody else wants to i'll be happy to oblige here)

and definatley its own NSwiki article so all the parts can always be shown together

plus i think you can take swf movies in Flash and tie them together as scenes - meaning after each act is created individually it wouldn't be hard to put them all together into one broadband-fiendly movie
filesize is potentially pretty huge with constant music going on, but it'll be worth it!

Dude, if you made the website/ wiki, I'd love you forever. Or until I was able to give you pie, whichever comes first.

Singers
Um...anyone?

Musicians
Achtung 45 - Guitar, Bass (+ has an ever valuable MIDI sequencer)
Gruenberg - Guitar, Bass, Piano, Clarinet, Saxophone, Violin
Squornshelous - Trumpet, Guitar

lol, you can put me in that list of singers, but it's been ages since I've had to read music. So I've more learned by ear, now. Though I'm still damned good. Yeah, I'm modest. :p

Neo K, that post I made back on page 40 seems like it'd most likely be worked into the musical 'round act two, after the war starts, and when you want to introduce the hero/ine.

My idea for a Cog song.

Starts off with him sitting forlornly by a piano. The first two verses are slow and mellow, with a gentle piano part (and possibly some cello in the second). Then, with the Ooooh!, he leaps up, grabs the mike, and starts prancing round screaming the second half as an up-tempo rock 'n' roll song, possibly Little Richard-esque, with boogie-woogie piano, some sax, and if possible, some chorus girls chanting along as he sings the chorus.

Every time I come along
And see that something has gone wrong,
No matter how hard I try,
A cold glass tear pricks my eye.
And of course I can delete
Every foul flame that I meet,
But no amount of modly power
Can stop my heart turning sour.

So maybe I should let them know
The source of my sad lament.
Perhaps I should stand and crow:
"Think about it for a moment!"

But no...

I'm sure if they could only see
What their word games do to me
They might control their giddy selves
And not call Jewish people elves.
Maybe they are just retards
Who do not know their words are shards
That bring me quaking to my knees.
Oh won't they stop this, oh please...

So this time I shall take a stand:
Make sure my post is fully sent.
Right now, this stops, so I say, and,
"Think about if for a moment!"

Ooooh!

Yeah think about it for a moment!
I think you need to realize.
Ooh think about if for a moment!
Time to philosophise.

There's really no need to be so bad,
Or to go round makin' people sad.
Just 'cos they don't agree with you
Yeah don't call them a stinky poo.
And let’s all please now try to see
With a little good old empathy.
That we can all have an opinion,
And that don't necessarily make us wrong!

Yeah think about it for a moment!
I think you need to realize.
Ooh think about if for a moment!
Time to philosophise.

So control your fingers boys and girls,
Turn your cheek whenever someone hurls
Those bad insults, just walk away
You know deep down they've nothin' to say.
So come on li'l children, yes indeed,
Let's follow Uncle Cog and his creed.
Yeah so come y'all, stop drooling over Tink,
Let's come on down and have a good think.

Yeah think about it for a moment!
I think you need to realize.
Ooh think about if for a moment!
Time to philosophise.

Think about it for a moment!
Think about it for a moment!
You, think about it for a moment!
And you, and yes, you, come on, let's think!

Think about it for a moment.

I will create a new thread.

Also, this is off topic, but did anyone else notice my last post was by "Kervoskia" not "Neo Kervoskia". I reported it to the mods because I don't know why that happened and I don't want to be blamed for anything.

I was wondering why you posted that again, but began not to think anymore about it, since it may just be a refresh. But yeah, Kervoskia has 2000+ whereas you have around 900.

Weird...

Or maybe sort of like a Bohemian Rhapsody type song? The lyrics look pretty good :D

No, no, I don't think it would fit as a harmony song - I think it needs to be just Cog.

But BR builds from vocals and piano to a rockier 2nd half, so in that yes. But stylistically I was going more for 50s rock and roll.

BAH! We already have a BR parody (*cough*mine*cough*)!

:p

Naw, but we can never have enough Queen.

Wasn't the BR parody by Tink? I'm confused.

Anyway, yes, I don't want this to be Queeny at all - that wasn't what I was going for at all. I'll try to get some music sorted out so it's easier to see.

I just remembered, I can play the violin (badly) and have sheet music from when I played in the Oklahoma! musical.

Ok, Romanore, can you repost the updated list of people, with NK added to musicians, possibly - might come in handy! So, do you think you'll be able to use the Cog song somewhere?

That would be best.
