*Tullamore strode into the cavern complex, hate clearly etched into his stoney face. He slowed down and took a good look at the sleeping campers before moving on. At the spiders pool he deposited an animal of somekind, before slipping into the water and the crystal cavern beyond*

A gentle yet foreboding breeze made its way through the cave, carrying the light sent of jasmine and lilac. It seemed to be emanating from the far cavern that Orchid had discovered.

**Achmed studied the prints he had found and noted on the smell*

"U.S issue marine. and the smell of jasmine...gets weirder all the time"

*When she wakes, Orchid feels very comfy in her sleeping bag, so she lays there for some time just thinking about everything that has happened to her and her friends over the last few weeks.

After a while, she realises that there are no sounds of movement coming from the camp, or anywhere nearby.

Taking the opportunity of the stillness, she decides to re-dress her shoulder, even though it felt fine.

Pads over to the fire, and boils up some water.
Taking off the bandage, which LP had put on last night, she looks for the gash.*

What!
How can this be.....there is no wound...no scar...no sign of the shard even scratching me!
Something strange is going on here...

*Tullamore emerged quietly from the pool. He slipped into one of the side passages that led to deeper territory and usually better hunting*

I'll feel better if I kill something, especialy if it can sceam.

*Creeping slowly and quietly along, Tullamore caught the sent of food. The three pale lizards were fighting over a vaguely humanoid carcass. He slipped behind them, grabing one in each hand, crushing their necks. The third he allowed to slip away. Dropping the lizards, Tullamore consumed the leftovers before heading back toward the peoples camp*

*Climbs out from the pool and watches the spider for a short time....fascinated by the way she feeds.

Passes under Spider, and heads back to the fire, where she cleans the fish, cutting some into pieces, which she then puts into the water which she had boiled earlier.

The other fish she took, and tied together by their tails, with some of the silk thread.

These she hung high over the fire, in the smoke, to preserve for later.
Looks about for Lafier.*

I'll give her a couple of minutes more, then I'd better go look for her.

*After Lafier goes to sleep, Orchid wanders back over to where the dead rats are.

She picks them up one at a time, and examines them.*

Looks to me as though something has broken their necks....wonder what!

*Takes them and offers them to Spider, who seems as though she doesn't need any more food.
Orchid leaves them in the web anyway, then goes to her own sleeping bag, where she lays pondering once more.*

*A shadow appeared at the mouth of the cave. With a flutter, a long pole with a deer skull attached to it materialized. Both had intricate runes carved into them. Soon after the camps food began to spoil*

*Lafier woke up .. looked around and went to the pot... the smell coming from the pot told her that something was wrong...

Checking the smoked fish, she finds that they too are spoiled... maggots and mold infest each morsel.

Looking around, she noticed the pole with the skull atop of it... the darkness that eminated from it was strong... *

this is not good... this is not good...

*going back to the pot, Lafier held her hands over it and started to chant in a soft whisper... an Azure glow eminated from her hands and the maisma that tainted the fish stew slowly dissapated. Tired, Lafier crawled back to her bed and fell asleep.*
