*a lone figure following his feet finds himself at the entrance to a cave. not the same system of caves he had just come from he noted. he winced against the pain in his hand. he'd been able to remove the dagger, but it was still healing; healing and bleeding. the cloth he had wrapped around it was stained red with blood, as where the cloths around his leg and his side*

ic : *the wounds where already begining to heal. one of the tricks he had been able to hold onto. though he was not consious, he was aware of what was around him. somone had put turniquets around his leg and arm in an effort to stem the bleeding from his right thigh and hand, but both where begining to seal on their own. the gash across his abdomen was also healing, though at a slower rate. he abandonded himself to the darkness, slipping into a sort of coma-like trance. he could no long sense what was going on around him. but he would. soon*

*Checks DF to make sure he is still comfortable, and then decides to cut her hair short, as this will be much more practical under the circumstances, not to mention more hygienic.

Carefully puts her shorn locks into an empty box....certain that one day, they will become useful.*

"Ever since I can remember," Padiel said. "I've lived here my entire life I guess."

*Comes back to the camp with several white bundles that she proceeds to spread on the floor. she uses one as a blanket to cover Dem and another for Padiel. she then wraps herself with the last and curls up by the far wall. trying to sleep but not tired enough.*

*Tullamore entered camp. Everyone was sleeping. they did not eat the person, oh well He slipped by and headed outsideIt won't be long before there is nothing salvageable left up here disappearing quickly into the fog*

*after following the chalk marks, Lafier found a section of rock that seemed very unusual. she put her hand on it and it fell apart. examining the 'curtain' lafier smiled as she realized that what appeared to be rock, was actually cobwebs that were litterally caked with dirt... making it almost appear to be solid rock. looking down the opening, she walked down the length... into the darkness.*

*rolls out of the sleeping bag. he looks down at his hand and begins unwrapping it. the wound is almost completely healed. he tears a new strip off of his shirt and re-wraps the hand, just to be safe. he then inspects his leg and side. both are healed up nicely, so he leaves the bandages off. he stands up and looks around. he was vaguely aware that he was in a cave, but until now it hadn't really sunk in*
i hate caves.
*he stretches a bit to get the sleep out of his system*

Padiel made his way, down a cavern that did not lead back to the camp. The one he took led deeper and deeper into the cave. There seemed to be a voice calling to him.

Padiel went deeper and deeper, until finally he found himself in a giant room. It was a giant trench, no light at all but he knew there was nothing in front of him. Literally, nothing. He then thought, was this the place where he had been throwing rocks down the other day? Was this the bottomless cavern?

"Hello?" He called, and his voice echoed until it was faint and far away.

He then heard a voice call back, it was close. He heard a noise, and suddenly there was light behind him. Torchlight. He turned around to see a man behind him, with short black hair slicked back, and a big cape that covered his entire body. His face was covered by the collar of the cape as well.

"Hello young boy," The voice said enchantingly.

"Who are you?" Padiel asked.

"My name does not matter now," The voice said. "I know who you are though. Padiel, I've been keeping an eye on you for some time now. For several years, you could call me your guardian. Do you remember?"

"You! You were the one who had flown by in the air and scared off that one beast! You were the one who gave me this knife! Five years ago!" Padiel exclaimed in excitement of recognition.

"Yes, it is me boy," The man said darkly. "It is me."

*manages to get free of the sticky substance and contenues down the cave. a little way farth he sees a little body of water, though wether it is a creek or a pond he cant tell. as he gets closer the form of a large spide comes into view off to the side*
this is why i hate caves.

"Follow me," He says, and points. Padiel turns around to see a sort of cart hanging from a rope was beside them. They stepped onto it, and slowly the cart descended into the abyss.

The boy awoke on a red goose feathered blanket. It was the most comfortable thing he had ever seen to that day. He got up and looked around, he seemed to be deep in some cavern. The cave was not so bad, and had many candles lit on top of dressers and desks. He walked down the passageway, and opened a door, seeing the man from before.

The man had taken off his coat to reveal a very nice looking latee 1800's suit. He was handsome, and seemed to be of nobility, but it was obvious this is where he lived. The man turned and looked at the boy.

"Ah, you've awoken," The man said. "Come, I've got something to show you."

The boy walked up to him, and the man pulled out a book and set it on the table. The boy looked at it curiously, and then the man opened it.

All over the page were lines, with odd little symbals all over it. The symbals changed from time to time, and were on different lines. The boy looked at them with much curiosity.

"Do you know what this is?" The man asked.

The boy shook his head no.

"This my little Padiel; is music."
