I have a friend whos been on the dole for 25 years! He has minimal money but really enjoys life. I could never do that as I think thats just wrong.

I'm thinking more like getting a simple job which just covers expenses but that I really enjoy. I enjoy my job now but it has far to many stresses. A park ranger would be good.

Yeah my brothers done all kinds of cool stuff, but I think the best was marshal at a qusar arena! darn him! he's now a house husband!!! tshhhh lucky sob

I ran up some debt when I was young & stupid...tho I am now old & stupid I'm better with money, but I have no intention of dropping out of my current life til that's cleared. I may not always like my obligations but I will always face them before I move on

You can delay the council tax by phoning them and typing in random numbers on there automated service. They have got so confused with mine I haven't heard from them in a year and a half!

See....I was looking at Gorgie/Bruntsfield/Morningside area. I'll have to wait until my wages take a 10k jump though (should be the end of the year) until I can get a decent mortgage.

I live in Liberton as I partly realised how expensive more centrally is.
Sure you can get a good morgage as I got one and my salary is only 1000 a year. The rest is all grants and funding!

I'm on a rather good wage but couldn't afford a rubbish flat in milton keynes without grovelling and begging and even then I proberbly wouldn't be able to buy much more then a garage... It sucks... I hate this stupid planet!! I say we take off an nuke the site from orbit!

I concure, plus theres the issue of not being at all stable, today I may be working here next month I get a new job 100 miles away three years later another job 200 miles away from that... theres just something about my life that makes the buying something a paradoxical approach. I need to be free in order to pursue cash... but end up flushing money down the toilet... grrrrrr universal paradox brain failing!!!

My thought too. But in the last six months house prices in Ed. have risen by 30%. Nice little profit if I sold now.

I think they are more likely to stabalise rather than fall -(I hope)

it looks quite clever and more focused on what a little action can do that you'd normally think was completly unrelated... I like that thought (hence the film name)... that by helping some completly random person one day I could start a chain of events that leads to the development of a cure for cancer or something equally meaningful...

There's this girl in school who keeps thinking she is perfect and the world revolves around her, but I'm dirt under her feet. Well, she isnt' entirely bad. It's only when she starts doing that it pisses me off. I mean, being rich, talented in music, smart in academics, being good friends with some celebrities DON'T GIVE YOU THE FRIGGIN' RIGHT TO BECOME A SNOB, DOES IT? :roll:
