I work for an agency... why the heck do I want to go to a course on recognising deaf people (usually you can tell when they don't hear you, or are signing to someone else!) when I work in payroll!? You don't get paid any more for being deaf.. or less for that matter! What's it got to do with my job?!
I'm really sick of this place... I'm going to get the agency to put me elsewhere or I'll find something else myself.

It was not a stroke of luck that got me the Forum Mod title, it was from a long period of sacrificing beer, chiken, jello shots and other posters to the Mods and begging for magical powers.

Two of us from the temple of the mods got this title change.

I was thinking about life the universe and everything the other day and came to the conclusion that somewhere along the line of human history something went very wrong... people spend all their life living to work so they can provide for those above them as opposed to working to live for those around them... organised society for the past few thousand years has been centered around it... heirarchical society mostly... monothieastic religion, government etc... It struck me as odd...

Thats why I keep on thinking about dropping out of the work 'race' and doing something else.
But that wouldn't work *drinks coffee* what would you do instead? *stretches* although my brother managed it... although I suppose if you never get into it you never miss the cash (How could I turn away from having... £600 spare a month??) plus if you completly drop out of the working game you become a burden on those who are working and hence making their life more difficult which is unfair... and no one really wants to do that (okay some do...) *shrugs* *drinks coffee*

I have a friend whos been on the dole for 25 years! He has minimal money but really enjoys life. I could never do that as I think thats just wrong.

I'm thinking more like getting a simple job which just covers expenses but that I really enjoy. I enjoy my job now but it has far to many stresses. A park ranger would be good.

I ran up some debt when I was young & stupid...tho I am now old & stupid I'm better with money, but I have no intention of dropping out of my current life til that's cleared. I may not always like my obligations but I will always face them before I move on

We had a family football match on the beach over the weekend, he ran into me...I kept going. :D
