Its about £280 for console, 2 controls, harddrive, 30 day trial of xbox live, headset and Project Gotham Racing (bleh). the Core version (bleh) is about £30 cheaper.


I think its mainly that over here PS3 doesnt come out for months yet and the Wii is going to be over £100 cheaper than the Xbox, but its a noncomparable really.

Not sure what the core version entails exactly, but i would assume just the Xbox 360 itself, a control and maybe a game. But according to the sign i might have misread for £30 more i can get the premium one and thats a fair bit better so it doesnt seem worth it really.

Aye, the halo series is great, i may actually have to play Halo 2 again, i seem to have a large hole in my memory where the storyline should be, not enitirely sure why. I remember bits of it but not much.

The wall is still up, though it is cracked and weak. Probably 3-5 more catapult hits to it would send it collapsing. There are towers spread out about a reasonable distance away. Weapons are at surplus, Shovels, enough for several teams of engineers (i'd say about 1000-4000 shovels, especially if you steal them from the villagers), rations=enough for 1 year and 3 months

The wall is on the relatively same level as the rest of the city inside, which is higher up, on a large hill, than the surrounding ground.

Oh.... I didn't realize this wall was so close to the rest of the city.

It's still a good distance away from the city, however there have been buildings springing up near it that have been abandoned due to the war. There are also many tents for the soldiers and smithies and medics and mages, etc

On the other side of the walls, the towns are a short distance away, maybe about 5 miles away, however most of them have been destroyed etc.

Along the wall was another small town, only a few buildings, as people built outside of the walls and would run in should they be attacked.

Technically Plane-touched are a few generations down the line, they would be half-fiends or half-celestials at the moment.

oddly enough half-fiends/celestials are much more powerful that their parents in the D&D rules, never quite figured that.

I have a machine that gives me the white noise as a part of 20 different sounds. It also recharges my ipod while letting me play it, or I can listen to el radio...or be woken up...or hear the time

Ok, as far as Armai, Venisar and co go, The pirates have split in half to shoot at either side. Conroy is waiting for Venisar to show his head so he can shoot him, the mage is also shooting fireballs at the roof. Horns have blared and heavy feet can be heard coming towards them, the source of which is unknown. Page 95

Loki would be in Lorathin's house with everyone else, having food, buffet style.

Ok, well all the good guys are now in Lorathin's house, rimmy and alegain are off having a bath, rest are eating. Harlin had rescued everyone and is unconcious i believe.

Horatio is in the castle plotting and scheming, Mienna bird got killed and has now been ressurected by Horatio as a killoren, looks like a dark green skinned elf, but its still Mienna, she will rejoin the good guys sooner or later.

Lúthien's the only one consious at the moment, and she doesn't really know much about hosting guests. Being out of her depth, she gets nervous and watches rather than does.

There are afterall only a few words to indicate normal-volume speech, so it does get a bit repetitive of necessity.

While I can see/made the intended pic, it's not quite correct. It's hard to explain/map-describe it as it's semi-fluid, but for now that's close enought

A note thought the house also, in a sense, serves as a prison as only one of the Ls can open the door to the outside(and there are certain restrictions on it, mainly to do with where it opens again(which is why Lorathin used a 'port spell rather than the house to escape))

Ok, as far as Armai, Venisar and co go, The pirates have split in half to shoot at either side. Conroy is waiting for Venisar to show his head so he can shoot him, the mage is also shooting fireballs at the roof. Ok, well all the good guys are now in Lorathin's house, rimmy and alegain are off having a bath, rest are eating. Harlin had rescued everyone and is unconcious i believe.

Horatio is in the castle plotting and scheming, Mienna bird got killed and has now been ressurected by Horatio as a killoren, looks like a dark green skinned elf, but its still Mienna, she will rejoin the good guys sooner or later.

Sorry about my absence for the last two days, intemittent internet trouble yesterday, went up and down every 10 mins or so. And today i've had friends round or been round friends houses.

though saying that, i'm utterly knackered atm, it being 1:30 here, i'll post something in 8 to 10 hours or so.

Sorry again, been given a cold and my brain has shut down well and truely over the last few days, that and friends being round frequently for various reasons and school work, has left me little time, if my brain wakes up i'll try to post something.

Sorry if i seem to be in an odd mood, colds affecting me and slightly annoyed, was testing a freshly made magic deck with some friends and after dominating the first two games, the first with a nigh on unkillable army and ended up with tripple the health i started with, if not more and the second for the most part with 1 crap flying creature with 2 equipments on it. I had a massive streak of bad luck and got utterly dominated, repeatedly.

Aye, my brother saw it last week, i will get round to watching it at some point.

Bought a 2nd control, wireless network and charge cable. The acceseries i kind of needed. Most of the games a friend of mine is lending me so i'm not complaining. :p

Borat had some pretty funny bits, pet bear in the back of an ice cream truck. some bits wern't so funny and the bit with him and his friend chasing eachother through the hotel naked was a bit disturbing.

Overall, pretty funny stuff.

lol My roommate said that one should watch a few of his episodes to get used to his type of comedy before one goes to watch him.

Sorry for no reply, got practically no sleep last night, not through lack of trying and things havent gone my way today. Couldn't get on the internet in college to do a biology test and probably failed a mock maths exam today from just being completely knackered.

Currently busy with friends round, well, were round, they nipped off to bring a Wii back so we can play that.

Sorry, internet has been royally screwing me around the last few days, the few times i did get on it kicked me off half way through writin a post and wouldn't come back up.

Seems ok atm, and on the 28th we should be getting a new ISP with a connection of somewhere between 5-24 meg, depends how far away we are from the telephone exchange for my area. So, im looking forward to that. :p
