Well, it depends on how long he is in there for. If it is just a second, it would certainly do some damage to his face and might knock him out for shock, but probably not death that quickly.

Pretty much. Although, as Kitab mentioned, Ttomak can do other things as well. The way my psionicists work, they typically have one strong area (telekinesis for Maverion, sensory illusion for Teralynn), but also have some access to other areas. For example, both Mave and Tera could easily communicate with one another telepathically, but don't do that as much with non-psionicists unless they have to, because it's harder to do. Both of them could also mentally scan the surroundings, in effect seeing in the dark (as well as seeing other things that don't normally appear to the naked eye), but they aren't strong in that either.

Ttomak, being a derivative of Maverion, thus also specializes in telekinesis. However, he's also much more powerful than Maverion ever was, and could do a lot more that Mave (such as delving into the minds of others, seeing a pitched-black battlefield like it was day, etc.). But yeah, why spoil Mahura's fun? ;)

Don't get me wrong, I desperately want to continue both of those RPs, but with Blastit intermittent, who knows... (and without him as the driving force of this new one, it could move along and occupy us in the meantime). I also kind of want to create a new character or two and get some fresh stuff going.

So, basically, I am looking for ideas and someone who wants to be the creator. It could be anything including something related to the characters of this RP (like how CoD is Rimoru's backstory). So, ideas, thoughts, yes/no?

The general infantry will get gunned down if they adhere to standard medieval tactics. The Jiltakin are probably the only ones who won't get slaughtered. I figured it would take a good deal of time.

Our characters live in a world where vast quantities of evil of unknown origins are causing the very earth to come apart. The story takes place in a rapidly changing political and geographic land scape. Our characters are dispatched by their separate lords to try and deal with the problem (they could even start as a fellowship). Anyone want to add to that or is it rubbish? (I honestly don't know where it goes after that, but we can brainstorm)

As for a map Lup, I could make one in paint real quick.

If i was gonna use a character, it would probably be Ezekial.

As for ideas, we've done a whole bunch where we are saving the world, how about one where we are trying to take it over? :p Overlord Ezekial has a nice ring to it, dont you agree? :p Or perhaps Emperor...

A Treasure hunt! An adventure rife with deceit, danger, and love!:D

I was actually going to suggest a treasure hunt of some kind. It could be a powerful item, good/bad, or something like that. Perhaps we could combine a treasure hunt with a great evil power combined with a great good power. Like something along the lines of some unknown evil, springing out of nowhere, begins causing chaos/evil/etc. The great pure power of the time attempts to resist, but is slowly being pushed back by dark magic, monsters, or whatever. The only chance is some mythical relic that has been lost for ages if it even ever existed. The good guys send out a "fellowship" to hunt for it, but soon the evil people find out and wish to claim it for its power or destroy it... from there we could go through any amount of twists from it not existing to it being a person to the good guys using it for evil or whatever...

Well, just a thought - anyhow, we need someone to spearhead it and be the driving force.

As for characters, I have no problem with people using old ones (or ones from here), but it'd be cool/fun to make new ones too. So... that's what I will most likely do.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've heard about this glitch before, so I'd post in moderation about it (or hunt around in their FAQ) and also send a message asking to revive your nation on NS.

When i went back home last weekend i went round a mates house and we did almost all of normal made with most of the skulls on, didn't have much trouble, just things took so many shots to kill, well that and the insane number of grenades they toss at you with lethal accuracy. A room full of grunts camping the door and stickying you to hell when you open it is not friendly. :p

Didn't manage to finish the game though, about 2 levels from the end, after you've dealt with the Prophet of Truth, maybe a touch further.

One thing to say about co-op, it is not fun when the lemon behind you had a flamethrower :p
Or one of the big hammer things and your on a thin ledge bit. Either one can be quite annoying.

I couldn't figure out how to get the skulls so thats another thing I'm looking into. Also all the terminals that are supposed to tell you about the forerunners. I only found one at the end.

LoL It's also not fun to have a jumpy teammate. My girlfriend enjoyed the hammers but in the 2nd level with the drones, she thought she saw one and smack!

I died instantly and became a permanent wall decoration.

She really did't hit me with a flamethrower...but I accidently did LOL that was funny cause it was the last level and she just burned up.

What was also perculiar was in the last level, she tended to last longer than me. I'm the better Halo player so that kinda surprised me.

The friend i was playing through the game with pointed out where several skulls are in the levels, since i was using his spare 360 in the same room and his sisters account. He said you go over to them press Right Bumper to pick it up like a gun, then press y to change to your normal guns, should save it. Some of them you can only get at certain times, as in before you complete an objective in an area swarming with enemies, which i would assume can be quite annoying. Another involved getting a grav lift, one of those funky new vehicles (begins with a C), driving it through a set of small rooms full of enemies without getting it destroyed, positioning it just right, placing the grav lift and being pushed up on top of the bike to reach the skull, needless to say, it is easy to die trying to get that one.

He also showed me one of the terminals, but skipped the cut scene so i don't know anything about it. When i get the bit i need to connect my 360 up to this laptop screen and play it on that i will find it all out myself i'm sure.

I only saw one flamethrower and he got it, on the first flood level i think. Which you then get swarmed along that small rocky part where the elites got owned. He was just a little trigger happy, rarely actually killed me with it, since most of the time it just destroyed my shield and i got killed by a stray bullet. Very annoying. I love the turrets and hammers tho, quite a lot of fun.

Well, nobody around here has put a TV in the communal area, ungrateful buggers and if you have a TV you gotta pay £140 for a TV licence, so screw that. Therefore I have nothing to hook my 360 up to, however i met another gamer here and he said fortunately you can use a TV recording thing that plugs into a USB port, which offers the red, white and yellow connections (as well as an arial port, but thats pretty useless to me really), so no HD, but being able to play it in any case would be awesome.

Using that it will display whatever is coming from my 360 on my laptop. So in theory it will all work perfectly. In practice however i have yet to try it as it hasn't arrived yet. The only issue i can imagine is perhaps the graphical rendering on my laptop, whether my graphics card will affect the picture quality overmuch.

Yeah, I really liked the set-up of FF12... the whole world and everything, but the endgame left something to be desired.

Played a few of the FF games briefly, but having never owned a playstation of any degree i've never really gotten far in them. Seen the ending to FF7 tho. The PC demo i tried of FF7 years ago virusing my computer to hell didn't help, although it was ammusing to see all these red and white error crosses appearing all along the back of my desktop whenever something loaded up or closed.

Advent Children was awesome and Spirits Within was a decent film, though the storyline was a bit odd and it it had no relation to Final Fantasy at all.

FF7 was epic, but the newer ones are getting much more complex in their story/setting which I like.

I liked:1, 7, 8, 9, and 12
Hated: 3, 4, and 10
Never Played: 2, 6, 11 and 10-2

3 and 4 had great story lines and characters, but the game play was as comfortable as using sandpaper to wipe my ass. I couldn't even play 10 past the first hour, and I stopped playing it's sequel after the opening scene. Dear god.

At least 9 was genuinely enjoyable outside the cast of prepubescent mutants.

I pretty much like all of the ones I play 7-12. 10 was a little different, and I too stopped playing X-2 after the opening video.

Well, Lup. Just be happy you can play your 360. The bit i need to hook it up to my laptop has finally arrived, and after 3 or so hours of tinkering i have got it working... in black and white. >.<

Perhaps in another 3 hours i might be able to get it in colour, and maybe with volume, that would help too. :(

I lie, apparently i do have volume, i just popped Halo 3 in to test that fact and i can hear the halo theme... but it's still black and white :(

The strange thing is, i only get it to work if i set it to NTSC, and since i'm in the UK, it should be on PAL, when i set it to pal i get colour... but all i get is a screenshot, not a video stream ¬.¬

YES! Solved. had to change it from PAL-60 to PAL-50 lol, something i could only do in the 360 options, which i was only able to do after getting it to display in black and white. Such a simple, but extremely annoying thing.

Edit: NO! Halo 3 does not support Pal-50, only Pal-60. Do the lords of technology just like pissing on my parade?

Edit2: Ah well, Halo 3 still looks pretty awesome in black and white, so i can play it well enough, i may be able to find a way to get colour out of it, but not at the moment.

hehe, though it was entirely justified, the 360 does work in colour, just some o the games are picky. Still, virtually no lag between me pressing a button and things happening, only slight spikes every now and then which probably relate to my processers doing other things.

Too busy with uni work atm to look up how to configure it to run on PAL-60 properly, but i'm sure i'll be able to, still Halo 3 does look pretty shibby in varying shades of grey more than black and white. Though if i tried Bioshock it would probably be too dark to see most things. >.<

And my legacy of bad luck continues, today has just been incredibly luck, the main annoying part of which is i spilt a bottle of beer on my laptop and despite the fact that cleaned it up straight away, all my keys are now sticking, stink and my down button is broken.

The warrenty on my laptop runs out in 8 days and if i want them to fix it ihave to mail it to them, problem of course being that i'min uni and have a report and a presentation due friday and an essay next friday, both of these things are hard to do without a computer. -_-

Also, my laptop charger got caught under my chair and a good 3 inches of the outer cable is shredded. Fortunately the inner cables are untouched and it still works, but GAH!, definately not my day or last few days.

I'd say try to get an extension / rent a lap-top for a few days and send yours in. No point of having to pay for the repairs yourself in a week.

Well, it actually might be ok, i've turned the laptop on this morning and the down button has been resurected, it works again.

I also actually meant my mobile phone charger rather than my laptop charger. *shrug*

Still, it's all good again.

Edit: And my bad luck continues. This morning my internet was working all fine and dandy, but I get back from lectures and some group work a few hours later and would you look at that. No internet for me. Nothing to do with me, a problem on the networks side.

Well, right now Sebastian is waiting for Ikara in the Order's lands (don't remember the name, although I think it's something like Luminata) so they can kill the barbarian general and rescue peasants.

Vira and Habdebza are in Athral's tomb, Vira attacking/ being attacked by large golem while Habdebza disappeared.

Ar'mai and Lohren (I think that's part of his name lol) have decided to investigate the strange power within the tomb and have been enlisted by some spectral girl.

Marlene and her gang are in Rimoru City with Magledesh, Horatio, Artimius, and Teralynn

The rest are with Rimoru methinks and are getting attacked by demons with Ixair taking off to save Beatrice who has been stolen by Cretan

Same with Mass Effect, driving around on a lot of planets was usually the same but it was fun anyways. I loved the story, the plot, and the ability to choose what you're going to say. I've come to expect good things from BioWare :p

I definitely like the idea of FT, but I would just end up ripping straight from Halo and Mass Effect since I've never really explored into FT. (There was one RP, but I left immediately after a few of the RPers started "furrying" things, and eventually that led into "furry sex".)

Setting: Post apocalyptic future combined with a 1970 Eastern European feel (Industrial, depressing, muddled, and dysfunctional) . The galaxy has been ravaged by decades of horrific wars that have reduced all known species to less than 10% of their population. The galaxy has entered the beginning of a terrible dark age. Scientists predict that all sentient life forms, and most non sentient, have irreversibly bottlenecked, and will be extinct within thirty generations. If things weren’t bad enough, the Andromeda Galaxy will soon collide with the outer rims of the Milky Way much sooner than expected.

Plot: Characters are a rag tag delivery crew of the various remaining races issued a simple assignment. Aside from their usual cargo of supplies, they have additional load from a mysterious client. The tag simply reads “Meat.” The delivery is expected for the Inner Stellar Sanctum, a politically neutral planet developed after the Great War in order to preserve the sentient races.

Sounds good but I already got an idea from Regenius that may appeal to people. I will have it up as soon as I get the rest of it written down. Then we can continue our discussions there, whether we like it or not and then we can figure out what plot it will be. Mass Effect is both fun and immensely annoying, i saved just before the end so i got save the council and let them die endings, but a few choices earlier on might change it a touch, not sure and atm cba to play through it again, will sooner or later, much achievement whoring to be done there. :p
