I will probably be around intermittently, i;ve reinstalled Oblivion, i uninstalled it due to it buggering(First time i played it it ran like a dream, 2nd time there was lag, then more lag, then random crashes, then matrix mode (Damn useful in fights, horrible if you were trying to get anywhere)), but i figure i will give it another try. Seems to work so far.

I had actually just shut don my PC, good timing.

It works resonably, there is some lag, but for the most part ok. Though if it buggers up i may have to download the 'Oldblivion' mod to make all the graphics worse so it runs smoothly :p

Out of curiosity Blast, what kind of armor do Rimoru's guards have? i might just pull one off a corpse if it looks relatively intact. Apart from that, what happened to the Shredders or other mechanical bits that they had been working on 15 years earlier?

Maybe i could activate a few? :P

Remember in the first one when Rimmy's guard took Tera to the shredder room? THat's where the most of them are (within all the mirrors and secret entrances lol)

There are, however, a few deactivated ones lieing around Mebbiwik's room. I've decided that Mebbiwik is on vacation. Finding him may be a quest later on lol for both the good and the bad.

Those shredders would be stripped on the armor (maybe a plate or two, except for a few that are completely stripped of it) as Mebbiwik was working on them, and some of the armor would be magic resistant. Also remember that Rimoru had complete control over them should they go haywire, however it was because they could detect her magic. Now that she doesn't have so much power...lol get my drift?

Rimmy's guards have anything from light leather armor to medium plate. They tend not to wear heavy plate.

Hmmm, fair enough, i don't think i'll be activating any, but i can almost imagine using one of those sheets of armor as a shield like thing. Depends on the size i guess.

Apart from that i'm waiting for people to post. Then i'll set Horatio hunting for a reasonably fitting set of armor and have Mienna probably fly in through the front entrance, i doubt she would enjoy going through dark passages underground.

Nah, he just closed off the usual door and made a new one somewhere else. Along with wandering around loads of passageways ands sealing doors to make the passages mazelike, dead ends etc. And traps of various description.

I guess i should probably outline some of the traps i laid down before i go though, hmmm.

Ok.

These are the types of trap and they will be scattered in several places all over the palace, you don't need to activate all of them, but walking into some would be nice, and a very observant person or someone who could detect magic would be able to sense all of them or at least the presence of magic before they were stepped on. On the upside for you good guys, they should affect the demons too.

Trap 1) in some areas the floor is going to be 'sharp' almost imperceptabl to the naked eye it will be covered in spikes coming from the stone itself and will slow people down and hurt feet unless they are armored feet or very tough.

Trap 2) Again, almost imperceptible, it will be a basic snare, anyone stpping into one of the these will be hoisted upwards and dangled upside down by their feet, providing they are not too heavy, e.g. Kalzog.

Trap 3) Berry Bombs, berries scattered on the ground, will explode like proximity mines if people come too close.

Trap 4) On some of the doors, when people try to open them they will be blasted by fire (one off blast, not each time they open it.)

So yeah, just throw a few in while you wander around if you don't mind.

I've not tried the RP servers, i mainly stick to normal ones, got a lvl 40 human warlock and now a level 40 Tauron druid, i have a few others scattered around, but not worth mentioning.

Neither, it provides 'skins' where each blow 'eats' one skin, but because of his 'level' there are a very large number of skins.

Not exceptionally as(all things relative) it's a lower level spell, but does have a couple weaknesses, namely being bashed or spells.

Also remember, Kalzog's tattoos tend to block almost all spells, even if they harm him (most healing spells are let through, just takes much longer)

The spell should work in three ways,

1) protection from good aligned spells within the area, so all those holy bits just wouldnt work.

2) undead would get a bonus, not important

3) would be a spell effect from my choosing which can range from silencing everyone nonevil (cant speak so cant say spells) or various protection bits, scaring people, dispelling magic, curses. Theres a range.

I don't think Kalzog would feel it. If he did, it would be minimal

As i said, it would be a blanket effect, more or less they tried to grow all over the floor, of course they couldn't through stones or whatever, only through cracks... so maybe several hundred? :P

They don't have the effect to do anything to the palace. They're specific targeted(only effect certain targets), which weakens them but also makes them better for large-scale battles.

How about make the punishment fit the crime, so to speak, and cause flowers, thorny plants, poison ivy ect, to sprout all over Horatio's body, so he can get super itchy and poke himself and look silly.

He will be, but keep in mind, he went into this expecting to be using a high level of output so he pepared to an extent, but he'll still be dipping.

They disappear after about 15 or so seconds. If they converge on one thing, they can kill it, but if there is more than one target, they will be mostly a distraction. You can't really kill them or fight them, but you can avoid them.

If he uses the one you mentioned it reminds me of one of the abilities from a demon in D&D. The Vrook, its flying, has good damage reduction and resistances or immunities to all magics and 5 attacks. And two, or was it three, of them together can do a dance of ruin which does a spell which hurts and stuns. But yeah, their other ability was sending out spores that would infect everyone neardy, do damage for the next few turns and grow into vines all over that person. They are annoying. :p
