Five cloaked figures sat at a circular table. Each being’s face was in a silhouette. One of the men spoke, “Now that the NJLU is not as one anymore we can take this world.” Another cloaked figures replied, “Yes, we have waited for this for over a millennia for this my brother. Finally we will avenge our vendetta with the world.” The first speaker replied, “I know my loyal friend. We are so close I can taste it.” The other cloaked figures nodded. Another man looked at the first speaker and said, “Wood, when will we meet again.” The first speaker who was known as Wood replied, “Earth I will contact you all soon. Your tattoos will glow white whenever I call to you. Now go. There is much planning to be done. It is time that we change destiny.” The others smiled and in an instant disappeared from the room. The being called Wood sat there. He then stood up revealing a yellow tie underneath a black mantle. He removed the robe to reveal a very unique suit. He popped his neck and the man called by many as Mr. Bellis spoke, “It has begun. My clan shall have its revenge.” Mr. Bellis picked up a book labeled, The Triumvirate and disappeared from the room.

Omino sat on rock in the middle of Solar Isle. He sensed his pupil Arthur waking up. Omino sent a direct message to his mind. Meet me at the Sun Rock. When the young speedster arrived in front of him, Omino greeted him. “How are you doing Arthur? Today we will be reviewing the properties of waves, the different types of light, and the different ways light is formed.” Omino sat there and thought of a question he could ask Arthur. One came to him and Lew Wescolum asked, “What are the four behaviors of waves?”

James Coren sat in his apartment. Coren was a complete mess. Ever since the departure of Nightwing and the rest of the NJLU, Coren had emotionally broken down. His headaches were now ten times worse and most of his movies made less money than the homeless guy who stood on the corner of Gotham Park. Coren had hit a real dry patch. He sometimes kept in touch with the others, but most of the time he didn’t even bother. His NJLU responder never rang anymore. Crime rates were up and the Haze didn’t even care. This was not like him. James Coren was currently watching television. He was about to find something to eat when he caught a whiff of his armpits. He thought to himself, When was the last time I bathed? He just shrugged and went into the bathroom. He turned on the shower and the shower radio. He quickly undressed and jumped into the hot water. James flipped through the stations until he heard an angry citizen yelling, “Where the hell is the NJLU? Ever since that shit went down in Mexico they haven’t been the same. Where’s the Phantom Haze? Where is Nightwing? Where the hell is Morph?” At the mention of Morph’s name Haze punched the radio. The pieces fell to the shower floor. Morph’s name was very sensitive to him. Haze still couldn’t believe that he was gone. Coren got out of the shower and dried himself with a towel. He went into his room and put on his clothes. He walked to his living room and sat down. He thought to himself, Perhaps I should check out the city. He stood up and walked out of his apartment. He walked down the stairs and out of the building. He then began walking around the streets of Gotham.

Arthur woke up slowly. The last six months had been tough on him, but he learned so much from Lew. Also his photokinesis and also trained himself with his speed. Getting up slowly he heard the message from Lew. Then he quickly ran to the point making it there in a matter of a second or two. Then he saw Master Lew. "Hello Master Lew. I'm doing fine today." Listening to Lew he heard the question. Then he closed his eyes for a second. "I do not remeber talking about these topic Lew."

Lew shook his head and said, "This was one of the first things we reviewed. Okay the four behaviors are reflection, refraction, diffraction, and interference. Out of all of these behaviors which one do you think we use the most?"

Arthur didn't really rememeber that stuff. A lot had been on his mind lately. Especially his betral with the NJLU and his fight with Bart. His angry took over him when he did that. Sighing he started to think. "I guess Diffraction?"

Omino showed no emotion on his face. "Diffraction. No, but do you even know what diffraction is?" Omino waited for his pupil to tell him.

"Diffraction is the bending, spreading and interference of waves when they pass by an obstruction or through a gap, Lew. Then is it reflective?" Arthur said to Omino.

"You are getting closer. It is not reflective, but tell me what that is." Wescolum waited for the boy to reply.

Arthur looked up to Lew. He relaxed for a second. Now he was starting to become patience unlike himself six months ago. "Then it's Refraction, Lew. Sorry I have had a lot on my mind. Most of it concerns what happen six months ago."

"Well I am glad that you narrowed it down, but you still picked the wrong one. We use interference waves more than the others. Reflective is when you use smooth objects to bounce lightbeams off of it. Refraction is when the light beam changes direction when it changes mediums," Omino told the teen, "In order for you to master light you must know these things. There are two different types of interference. Constructive and Destructive. Out of the two the light waves that you have been doing have been destructive. We must change that to constructive. Do you know why?"

Prism had been wandering ever since the fight with Morph. He was seeking revenge that he thought he deserved from Enertro and his clowns he called generals. He was walking around, when he bumped into a man. The man had long black hair. He was wearing a black cloak. When he saw Prism, his eyes opened. "You... you are gifted. I can tell. Come with me." The man spoke with a slur. "Are you alright old man? I don't have time for this." Prism was about to walk away, when the old man said something. "I can help you get revenge." Prism turned to him. "Take me where I need to go."

Arthur didn't really care if he choose the wrong one. He sighed and listened to Omino. "I guess I haven't been using my powers to the full potential. Also the fact that most of the time it's been wasted on offensive attacks."

New York City. It was a cool evening as NYPD sergeant Billard drove down the busy street. Seldom was there ever a night with little to no crime in the city, in fact Billard recalled no such occasion in his ten years on the force. He cast his mind back almost a year when news reports first arose about stories of a caped figure attracting the public's attention with an amazing ability to fly.

Billard remembered seeing amateur video footage of the individual lifting an entire automobile off of the ground to prevent a car jacking, a huge fire extinguished effortlessly at a petrol station and of course the Superbowl. That was the most prominent memory Billard and indeed the rest of the city had. A terrorist group had managed to smuggle a small nuclear device into the dockyards near the Ronald Reagan Superbowl Stadium and New York was seconds from disaster if it were not for the efforts of Hatman.

Hatman. New York's real-life Superman. Even after a year, few people knew much about him. Here was a man wearing what looked like an ancient style battle dress with a knee-length cape and a hat, which seemed to glow with some mystical power. If that wasn't bizarre enough then not only could he fly, but his weapon of choice were a pair of sai.

Billard shook off the memory as he pulled up to a red stoplight. His recollection had distracted him from realising that the street was now virtually empty. Oh well, at least it was going to be a quiet night anyway.

No sooner had the thought crossed his mind that he instantly regretted it as a deafening explosion rocked his patrol car. Billard instinctively ducked behind the dashboard as debris rained onto the windshield. He peered over the edge to see the city bank on the other side of the road burning and two masked figures running out onto the road,

"CODE 30, CODE 30! 211 IN PROGRESS AT CITY BANK ON 4TH STREET! ALL UNITS RESPOND!"

The alarm bells from the bank and surrounding building would have made it impossible for the escaping robbers to hear the officer, but they spotted his car anyway and immediately opened fire. Billard again dove behind the dash as bullets pelted his vehicle. Broken glass showered the inside as well as himself and the all too familiar sound of tyres exploding told Billard that he was going no where fast.

The shooting stopped and Billard made his move. He slid across to the passenger side and opened the door, making sure it was between him and the gunmen. He peered around the edge and saw the pair reloading their weapons. Billard drew his berretta and fired. He was a good shot, but his awkward angle and restricted vision meant that he only scared them off. The gunmen ran down a dark alleyway and Billard soon gave chase. He reached the alleyway to find nothing. All of Billard's instincts were screaming danger at him, but he knew that he couldn't let these two bastards get away, especially since they shot at him.

He slowly advanced into the alleyway, his weapon levelled and following his eye line. Objects were casting menacing shadows all along the walls, which gave a sinister impression that there were tall and ferocious looking demons occupying the narrow passage. Another step and then another and then... He saw him in the corner of his eye. On top of the building was one of the gunmen and his weapon was levelled straight at sergeant Billard. He couldn't miss.

Suddenly a flash of movement flared across the rooftop, which knocked the criminal off balance. Billard instantly raised his weapon as the gunman struggled back to his feet,

"FREEZE, POLICE!" He commanded, but the felon was not in a cooperative mood and tried to run. He was out of Billard's field of view for a mere second before he floated back, hanging upside-down with his ankle connected to Hatman!

"Here is the first one for you officer!" He called out as the criminal struggled against thin air, "the other is making his way along the rooftops. I'll be back in a mo." With that, Hatman deposited the helpless felon into the custody of sergeant Billard who despite his surprise at Hatman's appearance, started to cuff.

Hatman floated over the tops of the buildings and landed right in front of the second gunman,

"Going somewhere?" He asked sarcastically. The gunman's response was fast and he drew and fired his weapon at the hero.

Any normal man would not have survived such a point blank encounter with the business end of a .45. Indeed the gunman had assumed that he had made short work of the caped vigilante before him. But his astonishment was hard to ignore as he saw Hatman, still standing holding a pair of sai. Holes littered the area where Hatman had deflected the bullets,

"Give it up now whilst you still can,” he said, but the felon was not yet finished. He picked up a large lead pipe and began to swing it. Hatman dodged the first two swings and caught the third in the prongs of his left sai. He followed through with a backhand to the attacker's head that fell backward against an upright roof entrance,

"Time for you to go to jail." Said Hatman as he moved forward. The criminal couldn't go anywhere and fumbled around for anything he could use as a weapon. All he found was a medium sized stone and with his remaining strength, hurled the missile straight at Hatman who ducked to avoid it. But the rock's trajectory carried it to the nearside pylon and impacted against the cable support.

With an explosion and flash of electricity, the power cable fell from its moorings, swung toward the hero and struck him full on. The arcing and snapping of electricity spread throughout Hatman and he screamed in pain before falling to his knees. The felon saw his chance and dived through the roof door, disappearing into the night. Moments later the surge stopped and Hatman fell flat.

Sergeant Billard dashed down the alleyway, following the flashing light, which was emanating from the nearby rooftop. He found a fire escape and climbed to the top. What he saw shook him greatly,

"Oh my God!" he exclaimed and he ran to the fallen hero. He was still breathing and his hat... it was flickering more intensely than before. Billard reached over to check for a pulse, if indeed Hatman possessed a pulse. Suddenly a second surge arced and Billard was thrown backward. His disorientation was filled with colour and even images. Before he blacked out, he was sure he saw the form of a young girl. But the darkness took hold of him and the last thing he remembered were the sounds of approaching sirens...

The sensation was unusual. Billard could hear voices in the distance but could see nothing.

The voices grew louder and he was suddenly aware of the first signs of light.

Then his eyes flickered open. He could see a bright light before him. A few seconds passed before he realised that he was lying down and the light before him was in fact a very bright fluorescent bulb. Billard came to the realisation that he was on a bed in A&E.

Curiously enough there was little to no pain. He was expecting searing agony after being struck by... actually, he wasn't sure just what is was that hit him,

"Nurse? Doctor?" he called out, hoping to get some answers quickly. Suddenly a male face appeared directly over him,

"Sergeant, are you okay? Do you know where you are?"

"I'm in Havana enjoying a martini and hamburger," replied the impatient patient, "what's going on?"

"I'm doctor Corbin. You've received a rather large electric shock sergeant so please don't make any sudden moves."

Billard wasn't about to do anything sudden, however he was more than inclined to try and sit up. However a blur suddenly surrounded him and for a moment he thought he saw a young girl before falling back down,

"I did warn you sergeant,” said the doctor matter-of-factly. Billard's vision returned but he could not see the girl anymore,

"Where... where is she?" he asked exasperated,

"Where's who?" asked the doctor curiously,

"The... the young girl, she was here only seconds ago!"

Corbin looked around but saw nothing,

"There's no girl here sergeant. Now please try to relax, you'll only get yourself worked up."

Billard saw little point in trying to argue and so grudgingly obliged. He turned his head to see a group of doctors surrounding the neighbouring bed. Part of the patient that he could see occupying it was a tale tale sign that it was Hatman,

"We've tried doctor, we can't remove his hat."

"X-rays couldn't penetrate anything and a blood sample is next to impossible."

The comments the doctors were making seemed to fascinate Billard and yet, somehow he felt as though he... knew something. Doctor Corbin had gone over to join the other baffled medical team leaving the resting sergeant on his own. He turned back and saw her again. Standing before him wearing an elegant, if somewhat outdated dress was the girl. Or woman?

"Who are you?" he demanded?"

"It's true. You can see me?" was the only reply. It was all cryptic to Billard who tried to attract the attention of a nearby nurse.

"What is it sergeant Billard?" she asked impatiently,

"Who is that standing right in front of me?" he asked with desperation. The nurse looked and shook her head,

"Sergeant, please rest. There is no one there. You are probably still hallucinating." The nurse walked off and appeared to walk through the girl!

"What's going on here?"

"I am the soul of the last Xenphian princess. It would seem that the electrical discharge caused some... problems."

The ward was bathed in dim light. Most of the staff had gone home only to be replaced by the night shift. The ward would normally be dark but Hatman's hat seemed to provide a minimal amount of light.

Billard was standing by Hatman's bed. It was an unusual thing to see a hero in such a vulnerable situation. In his mind, Billard saw the princess projected before him. She had explained how only Hatman was supposed to be able to see her and that she was the guardian with which he completely trusted.

Billard took the soul sai from the table and placed them in Hatman's hands,

"Now what?" he asked,

"We wait," replied the princess, "this has never happened before so I..."

At that moment there was a sudden explosion of energy as Hatman sat up. Billard leapt backward to avoid another shock but the princess didn't appear to move. Seconds later it was over and Hatman was standing tall but still weak.

The sound of running footsteps grew louder and the hero looked down at Billard,

"Sergeant Billard. I cannot thank you enough for your help, but I must ask... can you keep a secret?"

Without thinking Billard replied, "Y... yes."

Hatman nodded, reached up and removed his hat. A soft glow surrounded him and then receded to reveal an ordinary looking man,

"Thank you for your help sergeant, but I must dash. See you in a mo."

The newcomer slipped away leaving the bewildered NYPD sergeant wondering whether or not this was a dream.

Omino nodded. "I noticed that most of the time when you launch a lightbeam you only used visible light and you also use out of phase waves. You must learn the other waves of the electromagnetic spectrum and how you can make your waves in phase." Omino pulled out an old book, Photokinesis: Controlling Light. Omino hand the thick book to him. "Books are the best way to learn. Come find me in an hour and tell me all of the forms of light on the electromagnetic spectrum. If you can tell me that I will teach you how to use light to make illusions of random objects. I might even show you my light clones." Omino smiled and said, "Meet me back here soon. I am going to go to the river. I'll be there when you are finished doing your tasks." Omino lept into the air and disappeared from Arthur's view.

James Alexandros, formerly Sean Macol and Morph, adjusted his tie. He was preparing for his wedding to the queen of the small European nation Katigasnia.

He headed down the aisle, dressed in a tuxedo, his black hair brushed back and generally the ideal picture of a man awaiting his soon-to-be wife.

As the traditional wedding march began playing, Queen Karina appeared at the cathedral's door. Dressed in an elaborate and beautiful white gown, her blonde hair pinned up and blue eyes sparkling, she walked down the aisle to join her soon-to-be husband at the alter.

After the wedding, and honeymoon, James set about ruling Katigansnia. The wedding merited maybe a few second mention in the news for the rest of the world.

...And finally James Alexandros and Queen Karina of Katigasnia tied the knot earlier today in a royal wedding, which was celebrated throughout the nation. The union is believed to strengthen the royal family’s popularity within Katigasnia and neighbouring countries.

... "And we're clear." Mike Pindel the floor manager gave his customary hand signal and the studio hands set to work in preparing for the next newscast.

Alison McGill breathed a sigh of relief as she rose from the presenter's desk,

"I'm done for today," she said impatiently, "get Tom in to do the evening report."

By now Mike was standing next to her and was about to reply when Casey Ashton, the station manager entered the studio,

"Alison! Great report, a superb effort." the sarcasm in his voice could not have been more pronounced, "What happened to the Hatman story?!"

Alison was not in the mood to argue,

"Mr. Ashton, I am not about to broadcast a story based on unsubstantiated rumours."

"That never bothered you before!"

"Yeah well it bothers me now!"

The pair looked at each other, the void between them was so tense one would have assumed that it would snap like a rubber band.

"If you can't do what your told, then I won't have any problems replacing you Alison!" Casey said with a dangerous tone before walking off.

Mike shrugged his shoulders and simply said, "You'd better do what he says Alison. How can a royal wedding compare to the defeat of Hatman?"

The fatigued reporter's response was to push past him and utter a profanity under her breath before leaving the studio. Mike was left thinking about how to charm the new reporter...

Arthur grabbed the book and looked at it. It seem as though Omino used this book when he was training."Ok master." Arthur smiled back and set his watch to beep at the hour. He started to run away once Lew was out of sight. Setting down on the Beach he started to read. The waves crashed against the beach. As he looked out toward the horizon he thought of what happen. He remembered Athena and how Reave or whatever he was calling himself killed her. Sighing he went back to work. After awhile his watch beeped he ran back and found Omino. "Lew, there is only one light on the electromagnetic."

IC- Prism was walking with the old man for awhile. They came to a large sewer pipe. They entered, and walked for a while. Eventually, they came to a large chamber. Prism looked around. There were several people in it. The old man walked up to one of them. "I have found him." The man turned and looked at Prism. "You. You don't realize how important you are. And you want revenge, don't you? Well I can help you. My name is Acillatem. I am the leader of this group, which is larger than this, some are not here, and others are in the other areas of the sewer."

"What is the purpose of this group?" Prism asked.

"Justice. You see, I was a soldier in the US Army. They treated me like a disposable object. Then, I was nearly killed in a landmine accident. They experimented on me, and gave me my powers." At this, he let out threads from his fingers. "These threads can entwine and become larger, generate electricity or concussive blasts, or even control the minds of others. I don't use that power unless it is absolutely nescessary. I don't like making others powerless. But, enough about me, who are you."

Prism gave him the run down on what had happened. How Enertro had hired him, how he saved Enertro from Gold Medallion, then how he was ignored, abandoned, and mocked after the fight with Morph.

"I see. Well, I am sympathetic to your plot. I will help you get the revenge you seek. But first, rest."

--Private Island--
2 miles of the east coast of the US

"Call it a hunch Athena." Decimus said running his fingers through the salty water.

"I don't understand why you want to leave just based on a hunch!" The beautiful platinum haired woman said with pleading eyes to her lover.

"I'll come home, I promise." The young man said placing his still moist hand on her shoulder.

"You've said that before." She replied before fleeing on the brink of tears.

It was only last week that they had regained their memories after so long a time spent in their ignorant paradise. The past is sometimes left forgotten, but some things never really stay buried. The young warrior plunged into the icy waters embracing the cold darkness that weakened him to the bone. Minutes past before he awoke in the enternal embrace of hell itself. Demons reached out towards him only to be dusted by a glorious light and Decimus' spreading wings.

"I've only come to see Alucard." Sacer demanded the frightened children of the abyss.

"We, the suffered, will create our own eden, because that is what we have earned. You shall reap what you sow."

There was a violent tremor that cracked the tundra for miles and the third liuetenant of hell was sent from where she came.

"Reave, Tyr, Gaia." The figure whispered. "This world is ours."

2 miles of the east coast of the US

Athena sprinted up to Enertro's manor pushing guards out of the way like pests. Her fist furiously assualted the front door as she completely ignored the call buzer two inches next to her.

"Dammit! Enertro! Dia! Get out here!" She yelled breaking a sweat in her fervor.

Prism had rested and ate. It had been awhile he had been able to do this without stealing, threatening, or in one case, killing someone or something. He walked back to Acillatem. Acillatem saw him. "Well, I suppose you are satisfied? Good. Let me introduce you to my subordinates. The man who brought you here is Sabbath. He is a master in all forms of black magic." Sabbath stared at him, and said. "It's a pleasure." His voice was slurred as usual. "The other subordinate," pointing to a man with long blonde hiar, and wearing spike braclets, "is Maiden. He was possesed by a demon, but with Sabbath's help, he has learned to control it, and can transform into it.' "Whatsup?" Maiden asked with a British accent. "Not much." Prism replied. "Well, everyone, this is Prism. He was wronged in his life by a man named Enertro, and his followers. This Enertro will die. And Prism, will be your next leader after I die. But don't worry, that won't be for awhile. But he is still your superior. Prism, we will assist you in getting your revenge. And then, we will need your help. We have a plan which could give us the world. But that is for later."

OOC: Canadstein you might want to literally look up the electromagnetic spectrum. It would help you out a lot. TG- Breitenburg and Theao.

Omino shook his head. "Nope there is more than one." Omino used his aquakinesis to raise a fish out of the river. Omino levitated it to him. He then skinned it and began to remove the bones. Omino looked at the speedster and said, "Come back to me when you know all of the different names of the lights." Omino began to cook the fish.

James had just walked back into his apartment and flicked the TV on when he saw James Alexandros had wedded the Queen of Katigasnia had gotten married. Something about the man was oddly familar. Haze couldn't quite put it together because of the headaches. James laid down on the floor and looked at the roof. Suddenly he heard a beeping noise. "What the hell is that?" He turned his head to see his NJLU issued communicator beeping from underneath the couch. It hadn't rung in months. James used his telekinesis to bring it to him. The signal was coming directly from the Watchtower. Haze thought to himself, What do you want now Dick? Haze stood up and walked into his room. A couple of seconds later he was fully uniformed readying himself for transport. He rubbed his head and said, "This better be good or I am not going to be the only one with a headache.

Sean Wolfe walked down the soaked streets. People scurried about like rodents. His hands were in the pockets of his leather jacket. It clanked with the metal on it. A black guitar was swung on his back as he walked in a straight line, not moving for anyone. People avoided him or bounced right off him. He looked up and a light rain hit his face. They all threw stares at him, mistrusting and feared stares. They fear me for what I am, and they should. His boots clopped on the pavement. It was time to have a little fun...

Sean entered in a bar and looked around with an emotionless gaze. People were drinking, laughing, endulging themselves. A band wasn't playing, something that disturbed him. He loved music. A jutbox began to play country music, it turned out to be a country bar. People in cowboy hats and boots stared at Sean who was a punk to the core. They hated everything about him and he shared the same feelings towards them. An eery smile went across as his face as he swung his guitar around. Sean walked up to the empty stage. The room fell silent.
"It's time for some real music" he said and began to play his guitar. The chords were punk in all the sense. It was like fingernails on chalk for the hicks. A burley man walked up to the stage.
"Hey buddy, get off the stage or I'll throw you off!" he aid with a southern accent.
"Just try!" Sean replied, still playing. The hick stepped onto the stage and grabbed his jacket. The playing stopped and Sean grabbed the man's arm. He squeezed it and the hick knelt to the ground in pain. "Don't touch the jacket" Sean said and threw the man off the stage. Others stepped forward to challenge the punk. Soon, hicks were flying across the room, bystanders couldn't understand how Sean could be that strong, the bartender called the police.

The light of an eternal fire in the distance illuminated the angel's way as a sea of demons and tortured souls pushed away from him. Countless monsters, further than the eye could see, beyond any number man could dream. Sacer, the angel of Holy, showed no hesitation as he walked among the horrors he once swore allegiance too.

The ocean of hellspawns and sinners parted revealing a small hill with a bloody iron cross extending from the top. Sacer smiled as he saw the wretched figure pinned in a twisted and awkward manner. Bent in ways a human shouldn't be.

"It's been a while old friend." The angel said examining his old nemisis, Alucard.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The sound of flapping wings was silent to the ears of many people. especially at speeds this high. Great, black, leathery wings, covered in minute scales, spread from an enveloping body, lizardlike, but in epic proportions. The wings straightened, then banked, the left down and the right up, sending the reptile to his left a=in a slight upwards spiral. He veered off, closed his wings, and fell into the clouds below him.

From the clouds emerged not a giant lizard, but rather, a man, or at least what appeared to be a man, cloaked in black with a black helmet. He dropped, falling head first, before swooping upwards, supported by nothing but his own will and the air around him. He flew upwards in a lazy spiral, savoring the feelings of the air upon his face.

"Calr Pendragon!" The mental message rocked hiw mind out of its melancholy.

"Yes master, what doeth thou needst of me?"

"Return to me Carl. It is time for your training to continue. I will explain when you return."

"Training? I am finished with that. I have become a master of the sky. There is nothing more for you to teach me." Calr brushed off his master with barely a second thought. Suddenly, he was pulverized by three flaming balls of lava, hurtling upwards at magnificent speeds.

"When you can do that with less thought than the consideration that you just showed to me, then you shall be finished. Until that time, until you have become an Avatar of the dragons, you will do as I say." The tone of the mental message was unmistakable. He was angry. Reluctantly, Carl fell through the clouds again, resumed his draconic skin, and adjusted his angle slightly with the result of orienting his heading towards Camelotopolis, capital city of the Holy Empire of King Arthur the Great, mighty king and, in Carls' opinion, pre-occupied father. So be it.

Omino shook his head. "Nope there is more than one." Omino used his aquakinesis to raise a fish out of the river. Omino levitated it to him. He then skinned it and began to remove the bones. Omino looked at the speedster and said, "Come back to me when you know all of the different names of the lights." Omino began to cook the fish.

OOC: Man I really hate having to look up this crap

Arthur started to ran away before Omino even finished the sentence. He decided that he might have some fun before going back to studying. Running away he found a peaceful spot in a corn field. It was peaceful and quiet. Arthur could feel the wind move threw the corn field. He went to the ground and spread himself out. He looked up toward the sky. Arthur wondered what purpose he served on Earth. He grabbed the book and started to read again. There was Ultraviolet and Visble. Setting the book down he didn't want to read anymore. What had he become? Nothing. He vanished off the face of the Earth. Only Lew knew where Arthur was. Most people didn't even know what happened to Quickspeed. Arthur knew that Quickspeed was dead. Getting up he looked around. No people. Then he started to run. Once back at Solar Isle he found Omino again. "There's only two UV and visible."

Alucard's pale, half decayed face slid a glance at the visiting angel and smiled weakly.

"Old friend? Heh, you're too kind Reave." He said in a sad distorted voice wrecked with suffering.

"The name is Sacer again, Reave died a long time ago don't ya know." The angel replied kneeling looking the figure in the eyes. "If you think I came here to free you, you're dead wrong. I came because there's a disturbance in the world, call it a hunch."

"Ah so you felt it too?" Alucard asked while his skin slowly dripped away. "An incredible evil, beyond even hell's control, and Masozi is lose among the humans as well."

"Masozi? I'm surprised Hrist freed him." The angelic figure exclaimed as Alucard turned his glance to the sky where Hrist was strung up like a puppet being operated on by hundreds of winged freaks. "So he defeated her? I never expected he would become so strong."

"Masozi is the least of your worries, something else has become since you banished your darker half." The tortured demon muttered. "You really thought that the evil you overcame would just go away? The reaper of the Apocolypse is the product of your redemption and I guess that means I have won."

The angel frowned as he turned his back to the laughing monster, whose laugh became more insane and maniacle the further Sacer walked away.

The product of my redemption? Sacer thought rubbing his chin while ascending back to the earth.

Enertro was admiring the cool breeze on the hot summer day. He was reclined on a chair in a high balcony on his mansion. Next to him, his wife and love, Diaphanous. He smiled at her as he stroked her long platinum hair, admiring her brown skin, her full lips. He leaned over and kissed her gently. "I love you, Dia," he said quietly with a smile.

By this picture, one wouldn't have expected the two to have been in a dangerous battle little more than several months ago.

Enertro was the leader of an organization who's main goal was to destroy the NJLU. Yet, when the perfect opportunity presented itself, Enertro was lead to a fork in the road. Live with Diaphanous in love and harmony, or destroy the NJLU, possibly rule the world, yet lose Diaphanous.

Enertro just couldn't lose his one true love.

So here they were, living in bliss in each others company. They were quite surprised when they found Decimus, the once feared Sacer turned angel then mortal again with his recently deceased wife, Athena. Enertro was more than happy to let the couple reside with Enertro and Diaphanous.

"This is the life, my love. Warm climate, cool breeze, the most beautiful woman at your side, and a nice martini at your fingertips," he chuckled as he sipped some of the cold drink.

"Masters, Athena is pounding on the door, it seems quite urgent," came the voice of a guard nearby.

"What happened?" Enertro said as he got out of the chair, his bare chest showing off his muscular body.

"We do not know, masters. We just know it is urgent."

"Come, my love, let's go," Enertro said as he lifted Diaphanous out of the chair and carried her down the grand staircase and onto a couch near the doorway where Athena's furious pounding could be heard.

--South Africa--
3 miles from port

A ghost ship seemed to drift in from the fog as the coast guard approached its unresponsive target. The speed boat roared up to the side as the guard leapt aboard. It was completely empty, not a trace of life or struggle.

"Pirates did this?" The private asked pointing his flashlight into every crevice nearby.

"No, nothing is even damaged or stolen." The lieutenant replied looking under the tarps of the life boats.

Suddenly a man draped with a red cloth appeared from the rising sunlight.

"Hey you there, what happened here?" A guard asked while cautiously approaching.

The dark figure only smiled as in a second all six guards were tore inside out and left living, squirming on the deck in writhing agony. Masozi smiled before he ignited their blood and watched the ashes be swept off the deck by the morning wind.

--Enertro's Private Island--

Fenrir dragged Decimus' human body from the waters as he slowly regained conciousness. The water was a horrible place for the mortal, darkness and fire were nothing, but the vast emptyness and cold depths of the sea were terrifying to him.

"We need to see Enertro immediately." He said to the wolf coughing up a heap of sea water while still steaming from his trip to hell.

"I can see you in there!" Athena yelled while almost knocking the door off its hinges.

The newly coronate King James Alaxandros of Katigasnia, with his beautiful wife and Queen, Karina began an ambitious policy of reformation as well as introducing bold new policies.

The news was poorly received by many of the neighbouring nations, both as they were being 'showed up' and because of the general psychosis of the leaders of said nations.

Some of the policies that were most controversial to the power-elite(such that there were), and problematic to neighbouring nations, were the birth of a standardized code of justice, a stint of the military service for each citizem, and a standardized educational system. The healthcare was well recieved by the citizenry and power-elite, but not so to the neighbouring lands who began losing the better citizens to Katigasnia.

The vast reform policy was paid for by both foreign investments and loans as well as some generally frowned buisness' like drug trafficking and serving as a 'tax haven'.

First the light with the smallest wavelength, gamma. Gamma has the ability to break down particles and can cause cancer if a person is overexposed to it. The next smallest is X-ray. X-ray is what you would use if you wanted to see through a wall. After X-ray comes the two types of ultraviolet lights. Then comes visible light. That is the type of light that you use the most. We are going to have to work on that and get you into using other types. I that when I saw you fighting Bart. All you used was white light. If you want to defeat him you are going to have to learn those lights. After visible light comes the two types of infrared light: far and near. These types of light detect and produce heat. They are very useful for tracking down targets. We might get to that later. After that there is microwave light. This wave produces a stronger heat than infrared. You won't produce fire or anything like that but you can literally boil someone from the inside out with it. Radio waves and cosmic waves are the largest waves. These are what allow normal beings to listen to the radio or watch television. You can use this type of light to take control of television programs and other similar things to that." Omino took another bite out of the fish, swallowed, and said, "Any questions?"

Haze quickly reported to the tower. When he arrived he saw Nightwing sitting at the desk. He hadn't left that desk since the day he had finally stopped reading the Triumvirate. Batman's former apprentice had lost it. He swore up and down that the world was going to end. He along with the loss of Morph was one of the main reasons why the NJLU had broken up. Haze looked at his former teammate and said, "Why won't you just go back to Blūdhaven? You are like a crazy hermit." Dick turned around and said, "You would go crazy if you read that the world was going to fought for and could end." Haze looked at him and said, "I have read that prophecy several times. It says that we will make it through." Dick shook his head and said, "Do you not understand that fate can be changed?" Dick turned back around and said, "I need your help." A picture of the nation Katisgasnia popped up. Dick said, "I want you and some others to go there and see what is going on." James looked at the ex-Robin and said, "No way. Why should I? If I do anything I might go there for vacation. Why do I need to go there?" Nightwing stood up and said, "I just don't trust what is going on with there government right now." Haze shook his head and said, "You are crazy. I am leaving." Nightwing looked at him and said, "You will regret leaving." Haze looked at the bewildered superhero, "I do regret something. Coming up here to talk to you." Nightwing shook his head as Haze teleported himself down to his apartment. Haze sat down on his couch and said, "That was pointless." His head began to throb even more. Haze thought to himself, I need to catch some Z's. A couple of moments later he was knocked out on the couch.

Adam Hunt, the British immigrant to America and employee of the New York Television Station was sitting in his flat and pondering. His latest experience as Hatman against the two armed robbers the previous night would not be soon forgotton, but his mind was dwelling upon the Police sergeant who had 'rescued' him. He had never met that man before but now this 'Billard' was as though he had know him for years.

What happened? he thought to himself as he tried to figure out the circumstances. In his mind he saw the image of the Xenphian princess projected before him,

"It is a rare phenomena. One which I have never before encounted." She said, her young voice though innocent in and of itself, portrayed experience and memories one would normally associate with a sage.

"I know this man. But I have never met him before." Said Adam with a desperation for answers,

"I can only think that the lightening surged the power of the warrior of Xenphia so that another would share it."

She did know she had to contact Raven somehow... probably through Haze. If she did not learn to control her anger, the earth was history. Uncontrolled nuclear fission and fusion stemming from anger was not something to take lightly, much less the F-5 tornados. Luckily, Diaphanous had not been angry enough to start sprouting airborne mushroom clouds since that last NJLU thing.

Enertro and herself had decided they did not want to spend their entire lives working. Running the entire planet would take work. They were enjoying a normal life, for the most part.

Diaphanous rolled over in her bikini and took the top off so she would not get tan lines. She took a sip out of her "girlie fru fru drink", as Enertro teased her about, and began to relax.

ooc: no, she's just a human gun fighter now.

"Hardy friggin har har Enertro!" Athena mused while playfully jabbing him in the shoulder.

Suddenly her face dropped its happy guise to take a more serious look.

"Decimus has been considering going home, he says he has a hunch about something. Last time he had a hunch Alucard showed up and ruined both of us." She said frowning trying not to cry. "You and Dia need to convince him to stay."

A steaming human with his loyal wolf was approaching in the distance waving.

Masozi will more than likely go looking for Reave and the others, but once he finds out they're all dead and Sacer has returned the he'll work solo. The Tragic Viper has broken free, what could have possessed him to battle Hrist? No way he could have ever beaten her without help. Decimus thought while approaching Enertro's villa.

Enertro only smiled as Athena jabbed him in the shoulder. He remembered when he feared the gun slinger and her massive turret like sniper rifle. Not to mention the fact that she was a vampire...

"Leave? Going home? To Heaven?" asked Enertro as he noticed the figure approaching. "Come on in, Athena. Let me get Diaphanous..."

Enertro sprinted up the stairs to the balcony where Diaphanous seemed to be enjoying life in general. Enertro smiled as he snuck up next to her and put an ice cube on her hot back.

He immediately kissed her cheek. "Dia, Athena and Decimus need us. Decimus plans on going back 'home' and Athena doesn't want him to. I'm also slightly worried at this..."

Diaphanous was relaxing in the sun when she felt an ice cube on her back.

"Hey!" She jumped up, leaving her bikini top on the lounge chair. She kissed her soul-mate and made a face at him.

As Enertro explained what was happening, Diaphanous became worried as well.

"This concerns me, Enertro." She said with a worried look on her face.

They went down stairs to see the two.

"What is this I hear about you wanting to leave, Decimus?" She asked him, very confused. "Why would you leave, and where would you go?"

"Master Lew. There's a difference between controling a wave and light. Remember that Photokinesis is controlling of photons to create a beam of light. Actually the only things I could attempt create are visible light and uv. The rest are waves not light. I have Photokinesis not the power to control waves. So I just want you to teach me how to control visible light and uv." Arthur said while looking at Omino. He just wanted to conrtol light.

Omino was somewhat taken aback at his student's remark. Omino shook his head and said, "I am teaching you about photokinesis. All of this goes with photokinetics. I know because my master taught me the same things. Yes photokinesis is partially about using protons to create beams, but that is not all. It is also about using light to its full potential." Omino thought to himself, I have a long way to go. He then said, "All the different waves I have just told you are just the names of the various wavelengths of light. Different wavelengths do produce different lights. You are wrong about those others not being light. They are all apart of the electromagnetic spectrum which is just a chart that displays the different lights produced at different wavelengths. You do understand that light energy travels in waves right?" Omino looked at him with a questioning expression.

Decimus frowned as he brushed some of the ashes of his shoulder. The stink of brimstone wouldn't come off for weeks.

"I do not want to leave, but it is my obligation as an angel to put a stop to darkness before it gets even worse. An old friend of Reave's has come out of hiding, he's powerful and not very friendly." Decimus replied while smiling. "However, he is no match Sacer, I should return in a matter of days."

Athena turned with a concerned look. "Let me go with you, killing demons was my job!" She exclaimed while pulling on his arm.

"I'll be back in no time, and more than likely the other angels will come to my aid if he really has gotten that strong." Decimus added before turning to Enertro and Dia. "There's also something else I have to find out from the other Angels. If Alucard was right then this may get ugly."

Diaphanous looked at Decimus. "I completely understand. Your duties as an angel come first." She looked at Athena. "He will have to find out if humanity is in danger yet again... these are orders from God, himself or one of his messengers.

"As much as we would all like him to stay," Diaphanous smiled at Decimus, "he has more obligations than your average man. I would not worry. I trust the other angels will help if necessary.

"Decimus, I will be sad to see you go. Come back as soon as you can! We worry, you know!"

--Cape of Good Hope--
South Africa

What was left the populated port was an immense pile of bones and organs, all of them sitll squirming and writhing in unimaginable agony. "This world is no better than the last time I had visited." Masozi growled as he watched the inside out humans gasp in suffering. "I wonder if the same thing helped Reave defeat Alucard."

Decimus smiled "Thank you for being so understanding Dia." He said while walking outside. His hands reached up towards the sun as his body slowly evaporated into the light. "Be right back." His disembodied voice called out.

Athena turned toward Enertro and Dia. "Well, what do we do until he comes back?" She asked while petting Fenrir.

"Two ladies and me? How am I going to survive?!" Enertro joked.

"Well, since I'm on a bit of a honey moon vacation thing, I can do just about anything," he laughed as he sat in a plush couch.

I do hope Decimus, or Sacer, will be alright... he thought to himself.

The poorly lit and dilapidated room provided minimal shelter for Carlos as he sat down at his computer. He took a few deep breaths and removed the torn balaclava from his head. The ordeal he had undergone was painful and costly, but not altogether profitless.

Yes he had lost his colleague and yes his .45 was likely to be lying on the rooftops of some residential estate, but that price seemed to be worth the information he had gained; Hatman's weakness was electricity. He had recalled the entire encounter in his head no less than one hundred times and in each instance his imagination for wealth grew tenfold.

He may have been reduced to 'petty theft' and robbery but in the hardest of times it was survival of the fittest. And his colleague was by no means the fittest. That was proven by his capture and Carlos was in no way inclined to try and break him out.

He stared at the blank screen, pondering what to type. His contacts in the criminal world were few and far between, but the contacts that he had were bigshots themselves.

His computer was nothing ordinary. Carlos had spent a great deal of time modifying it so that he wouldn't be traced by law enforcement agencies. That was one of the reasons why he had remained elusive. Suddenly it came to him and he began to type:

NEW YORK'S HERO'S SHOCKING WEAKNESS REVEALED! YOU KNOW HOW TO FIND ME!

He clicked 'send' and Carlos' message shot through cyberspace toward its multiple destinations.

At least one crime boss would find it of value...

As the King and Queen held court, to hear the petitions of the citizenry and other miscellaneous buisness, one of the messengers brought Jason a message from the Katigasnian Intelligence Department. Jason nodded and excused himself, letting Karina deal with the citizenry as he went to find out what the K.I.D's message was about.

"What is it?" He asked curtly.
"Your majesty. We have been receiving reports that the neighbouring nations of Carmina, Galvania and possibly Uterikstan are planning on invading. We think Maikastan is planning on remaining neutral, but even with the military program you've instigated, we'll be out-numbered close to four to one."
"Damn. Any progress in Project Kat?"
"Some, we believe we've recovered enought of the data from the Captain America and Captain Nazi programs to develope our own defence force."
"Good, begin gathering the materials for the program. If all goes well, we'll have a sufficiant equalizer to protect ourselves from agression."

The head of K.I.D nodded and returned to his office where he'd begin sending out agents to gather the necessary materials. It was hoped that the material gathering would avoid foreign notice, or at least avoid it enought so that none of the various agencies that might meddle would be able to put the peices together, but the chances of that were slim, especially if what remained of the Justice League was paying attention.

As soon as Sacer ascended he could feel a disturbance in the life force of the world. Thousands screaming in wretched pain and anguish, a suffering that shouldn't belong in this extistance.

His massive wing extended while the blade materialized into his hand. The light armor strapping itself onto his body was solid black with silver lining. He never wanted his right wing back, its absence was a reminder the path of wrath brings.

Descending to the Cape of Good Hope he noticed the crimson sky. A sure sign that Masozi's powers were growing.

Suddenly a spear ripped through Sacer's right shoulder pinning him to tall building.

"So God sends a weak little angel to do his bidding." Masozi growled while lightening danced around his body. "I thought they would have sent somebody a little better than a one winged freak."

Sacer smiled as his body was ripped apart by an unimaginable force. Masozi was using the blood in his own body against him.

What was left of the angel was only a wing and large chunks of flesh.

"Masozi, all that time spent in Anartica and you're still so dark." The disembodied angel mused.

"Reave?" Masozi asked bewildered as to why his opponent was still alive, let alone speaking.

"You're half right and half wrong. Replace the demon half with an angel and you're correct." Sacer said recombining his body to full form.

"I'll be a son of a bitch, why are you serving the other side?" The demon asked taking the spear out of Sacer's shoulder.

"I serve no side, but the side to restore a balance." The angel replied.

Masozi went to comment before hundreds swords shining with light impaled him and stuck him to a wall.

"Reave...why?" The demon asked as the light began burning away his body.

"Restoring the balance: you have killed thousands of human beings in a matter of moments. In response, it is my duty to relocate you to a more suitable setting." Sacer said with a grim look on his face as a hole to hell opened below the demon.

"They aren't dead." Masozi said grinning while the pile of organs slid down the city streets at frightening speeds and buried the angel in blood, guts, and bone. by the time Sacer tore his way through the gorey mess Masozi was gone.

"What?"

"Did I ask you a question, Carl?" The aged man sat cross legged under a palm tree, hands resting on his knees.

"You called for me. You said I had to learn more, then you threw lava at me."

"Two out of three, I am afraid. I merely asked the good earth to assist me in explaining my points to you, and it was readily compliant." The old man did not even open his eyes as he spoke. "How does your study of Draconic go?"

"Why do I need to learn a dead language? It is only for fools, and has little use to those that deal in the real world, a world that you seem to grow more distant from each day." As he finished, a blast of will assaulted Carl's mind. It quickly receded, leaving Carl senseless.

"Draconic, my boy, is the language by which dragons master the methods and ideas of mental communication. Telepathy, as some mortals call it, but it is much more than that. It is the deciphering of how we think, what shapes our thoughts, and why we act in life. I know that you are sour, for you do not enjoy being told what to do. A king's son, and yet the palace servants held power over you for every day of your life. A dragon, and yet you are forced to listen to the ramblings of an old man that sits under palm trees all day. This is the power of Draconic. I needed less than two seconds, and I know enough about you to turn your worst fears against you. On the other hand, I am an enigma to you, and I will continue to remain so until you fully understand what you are, and you decide to apply yourself a little more forcefully. Go."

OOC: King I just thought of who your character reminds me of. The dragon-kid off of American Dragon: Jake Long. Did you get the idea of your character from there?

IC:Nightwing sat at the Watchtower computer looking at the world. A message popped up telling him that Katigasnia was looking into the Captain America files. Nightwing thought to himself, What do they think they are doing? That research is forbidden. Nightwing stood up and said, "I knew they were up to something." Nightwing knew he couldn't go after the Katigasnian government alone. He would need help. He began to research random heroes on the database.

ooc: Never heard of American Dragon. Went with a Mr. Miyaki (Instructor from Karate Kid movies) and myself (Ten years of Martial arts practice and counting) mix-up. What network is the show on? If he's similar, then I have material. Idea came to me from a novel about a dragon born to an Emperor that was destined to save his kingdom.

OOC: It comes on Disney Channel. My little cousins like to watch it. They have the sensei and everything. You should look into it so that you can come up with more ideas.

"Keep running Masozi, you're only making this more fun for me!" Sacer yelled out as with a stroke of his hand half the city was engulfed in raining spears.

"Shut up Reave!" The dark figure called out throwing his giant spear at the angel, which was easily batted away. Sacer dove from the sky and pinned the demon to the ground with his long sword.

"Now, I'm going to ask you a bunch of questions Masozi and I want them answered immediately!" He barked pulled on his head looking into his eyes.

"Gee Enertro if I didn't know any better I'd say you were hitting on me. I wonder what Decimus would think..." She mused while kneeling next to Fenrir smiling.

"You think we should contact some of our old friends to see what exactly has The Angel of Holy on his edge?" Fenrir asked.

"Me? Flirt? Never!" chuckled Enertro.

"Besides, I have my Dia to love," he smiled as he kissed Diaphanous on her soft cheek.

"Old friends? Surely you don't mean the NJLU?"

"Anyone really, somebody has to know more than us. Personally it worries me that Sacer, an angel, is so worried and up in arms." The wolf replied.

"He has a point." Athena added. "Something made him go back and talk to Alucard of all things in all places. It wouldn't hurt to contact the NJLU and see what they know."

"Not hurt? The NJLU, or what's left of it, may track our signal, exposing this secret island!" Enertro replied. He closed his eyes before rethinking it all.

"Fine...let's do so...I wish there was a heavan hotline..." Enertro sighed quietly.

"Let the NJLU attack us: we have you, me, Fenrir, and a badass Mushroom Cloud laying mutha." Athena smirked revealing the large handgun always at her hip even through Decimus' complaints while getting intiment.

"I'm pretty sure the NJLU wants to attack a group of very strong potential allies anyway." Fenrir added nodding his head at Enertro. "Not to mention I've seen Athena pissed..."

"Come on Masozi cough up some info!" Sacer yelled slapping his pinned victim even harder while pacing back and forth. "Things will get real nasty in a few minutes. You remember what Reave was capable of in the ways of torture."

"I wish I could tell you old pal." The demon said laughing while poking the blade in his torso. "Once I heard you killed Alucard I was all gung ho and slayed that bitch Hrist once and for all."

Sacer frowned before sticking a dagger into Masozi's hip. "How did you beat her? You were never that strong, even Alucard would struggle against her." He barked.

"This is some way to treat an old ally Reave." He growled at the angel.

Sacer pulled out a hook and a wooden post.

"The wooden leg is so you don't bite your tongue off. I still need you to talk."

Wooshaba']Omino was somewhat taken aback at his student's remark. Omino shook his head and said, "I am teaching you about photokinesis. All of this goes with photokinetics. I know because my master taught me the same things. Yes photokinesis is partially about using protons to create beams, but that is not all. It is also about using light to its full potential." Omino thought to himself, I have a long way to go. He then said, "All the different waves I have just told you are just the names of the various wavelengths of light. Different wavelengths do produce different lights. You are wrong about those others not being light. They are all apart of the electromagnetic spectrum which is just a chart that displays the different lights produced at different wavelengths. You do understand that light energy travels in waves right?" Omino looked at him with a questioning expression.

"Sorry master, but some of these waves seem useless like radio wave. I mean when I'm going to need to use that. I have had just a lot on my mind lately. Mostly it's what happen six months ago. What happen in Mexico. Just nevermind. Let's get back to work. Why would I want to use gamma rays? Isn't that stuff radioactive?" Arthur stated he tried to remember the different types of light he could use. Gamma, Light, Radio, Microwave, Infrared, UV, and X-Ray. The only ways that seemed somewhat useful were Light, Infrared, mircrowave, and uv. X-Ray and Gamma seemed kind of useless because he didn't need to see threw walls he could just run and check. Also radio seemed to be the most pointless.

"I'm sending the three of you to Katigasnian."

Casey Ashton was sitting behind his large desk as Adam, Alison and Mike looked on. None could be more bewildered as Mike as he scratched his head,

"Who, what or where is Katigasnian?" he asked dumbfounded,

"And why are we going there?" Alison added,

"Katigasnian is a European monarchy and from rumours I've heard from the grapevine, its neighbours are not entirely getting on."

"We've only really reported local news," Adam began, but Casey held up his hand and cut him off,

"This is a hot one and it is also very important. If Katigasnian falls into war with its neighbours, the repercussions would be felt even here in America."

Mike shook his head disapprovingly, "Well I'm not going. I never signed up to be a war correspondent."

Casey fired him a look, which anyone would think could kill,

"You're going whether you want to or not Pindel," he said with a ferocious scowl, "you may be an executive at this station but you still work for me."

Mike could think of nothing to say and so wisely remained quiet. Adam was also silent. He couldn't comprehend just what kind of country Katigasnian was. But he knew that if there was going to be trouble, then Hatman will be there to sort it.

"NJLU...Us? Potential allies? Cold day in heck...Alucard will need to ask Santa Clause for a new winter coat if that were ever to happen," Enertro growled as he got up.

"Come, let's make this fast," he grumbled as several guards approached him and bowed.

"Enertro, you better not be hitting on Athena!" Diaphanous laughed as she kissed him.

"I hope this does not mean our life of leisure is over." Diaphanous scowled.

"If you are going to contact the NJLU, perhaps you could ask for Haze to send Raven to help me with my rage issues... I do not especially want to blow up the earth right now." Diaphanous smirked.

Fortuna looked down at South Africa. She hated when she had to let these things happen.

Please let Decimus/Sacer not suffer anymore. She thought to herself, while asking God at the same time.

"Revan? The NJLU, Dia? Not you too!" Enertro gasped.

He let out a small smile and embraced Diaphanous, holding her tightly in his arms. "Anything for you, my love...Did I tell you, that you look quite sexy in this bikini?" he whispered in her ear, before kissing her on her forehead.

Omino looked at the boy and said, "There are many reasons why you can use radio, x-ray, and gamma rays. Being able to control radio waves is not sounds. Let's say that you had a message that you needed to broadcast to someone important who was far away. You could use your control of light to create a radio wave that can get to them. You cannot always use your speed. It could backfire on you. You could run into a trap. If you use X-ray you can see what is going on before you actually run in to something you might cannot handle." Omino looked into the sky and said, "There are some situations when you might have to use gamma rays. Yes they are very dangerous but sometimes that is the only way you will be able to take down some opponents." Omino stood up hoping that he had gotten his point across. "I said I was going to teach you how to use reflection didn't I? Well tell me everything that you know about reflection."

Nightwing had found a couple of good heroes in his database. There was this kid who could turn into dragons and control the weather. There was also an interesting fellow who wore a hat and fought with sai. Nightwing decided that they would have to do. A couple of months back Nightwing had found the location of Diaphanous and Enertro. Since they hadn't committed any crimes Nightwing thought that they were going straight. I guess love really can change a person. I need to find them. Maybe I can broadcast a message from my mind to Diaphanous. Nightwing stood up and walked to the main conference room. He then began to think, Diaphanous, please reply. He prayed that the vixen would reply.

Diaphanous and Enertro were interrupted. "Enertro, I am getting a message from Nightwing of all people... I suppose I should hear him out. Raven would be of so much help. Do you mind my love?" Diaphanous kissed him slowly and passionately on the lips. "You know, after I take this message, if I do, I have an idea what we could do." Her eyes smouldered seductively as she pushed her body up to his. She smiled slyly.

Nightwing thought to himself, I guess she isn't going to reply. He stopped. "I should've known she wouldn't reply. I can't believe I considered trusting. Maybe my former apprentice is right." Dick shrugged his shoulders and went back and sat at his desk. He tried to think of a way to get in touch with the Dragon warrior and Hatman.

"Enertro, I am going to take this 'call'... then why do we not have some fun," Diaphanous spoke in a very sultry voice.

Nightwing... This is Diaphanous... I hear you... Go on... I was just relaxing a bit here.

"I can't wait," Enertro whispered, desiring Diaphanous greatly, before pulling himself away to give Diaphanous her space. He took the time to examine her recently tanned body, loving every inch of her perfect body.

"Wow, Masozi. I've lopped off your limbs, cut your fingers in half vertically, and ripped out all of your ribs with my bear hand and you haven't even winced." Sacer grinned shaking the demon blood off his hands.

"I am beyond pain Reave." The demon growled

"Very well, you have been judged." The angel said tossing the gimped demon into the air where hundreds of spears impaled him from all sides.

Suddenly Masozi almost became pure energy and simply vanished.

"You used to run back then too." Sacer grumbled staring into the sky.

Athena sat on the couch twirling the large handgun like it was nothing. Fenrir watched curiously as she displayed her skills.

"I'm bored." She mumbled flicking the revolver open sending the bullets into the air. One by one she motioned the pistol back and forth balancing the bullets as all six landed on the length of the barrell.

"No I can't think of any black object." Arthur started to think back. No he had never owned anything that was black. He hoped that he didn't have to find one.

Nightwing replied, I need you two to go over to Katigasnia. There is some shady business going on over there. If you agree hopefully two others will be joining you.

Wooshaba']Omino pulled out a black piece of paper and gave it to Arthur. "That is my back-up in case I ever need it. Okay think it is about time you show me what you've got. Show me your skills. Hit me with everything you got."

Arthur took the piece of paper and put it into his pocket. He looked at Omino then nodded. Arthur gather the photons then shot a massive ball at him. Then he shot a dozen medium size balls at Omino.

The flight was an uneventful ten hours and the trio were glad to finally get their feet back on the ground. Mike hadn't stopped complaining even when he got off the plane and it took the collective unison of Alison and Adam to snap, "SHUT UP!" in order to command his silence. Adam had always been wary of commercial flying, but travelling on the new Airbus A380 gave him a renewed sense of adventure.

It was almost midnight by the time the taxi had dropped them off at the hotel. Katigasnian customs and airport security had been ever vigilant since the tensions increased with its neighbours and Mike's protestations of American citizenship had only served to further their delay to the hotel. Mike stood by the desk and repeatedly pressed the bell in a frustratingly impatient manner,

"C'mon will ya!" he snapped, fatigue adding to his already ill-mannered disposition. Both Alison and Adam were no better off, but they weren't in any kind of mood to argue. After a long wait, the hotel proprietor emerged from behind a curtain of beads,

"Can I help you seniór?" the tanned manager's smile had a subtle scowl hidden within its contours, however Mike was none the wiser,

"About time," he replied with a huff, "The name is Pindel and I booked three rooms under the NYTS account."

Mike's discourse with the manager continued as Adam glanced out of the large front windows. The Katigasnian Central Airport was clearly visible in the distance and the lights of the city streets seemed to form an elaborate path toward the main terminal. And yet Adam was getting a feeling as though something was wrong. Perhaps it was the uneasy atmosphere generated by the local citizenship? After all, who could relax easy when your neighbours are tensing up? More than that Adam also felt as though someone, somewhere might be trying to contact him.

The uneasy sensations were quickly shaken off when the sky lit up a bright orange. A thunderous boom followed suit and revealed a commercial jet tumbling from the sky toward the airport with flames shooting from its engines,

"What the hell was THAT?" Mike screamed as he raced to the window. Alison was a little quicker and started rummaging around for her camcorder. No one noticed that Adam had slipped away.

The dark night coupled with everyone's attention focused on the fireball above them gave Adam the cover he needed. He reached for the Soul Sai behind him and crossed them above his head. Instantly Adam was enveloped as lightening sparked from the sai. He gradually pulled them apart and the bright glowing hat lowered onto his head. Another flare and Adam was once again Hatman!

The panicking crowds could do nothing but scream as the flaming jet spiralled out of control towards them. The chaos knocked several portraits of the royal couple from the walls of the main terminal as people tumbled over each other to get away. Suddenly someone pointed and shouted, "LOOK!"

Hatman flew up toward the underside of the aircraft with his sai drawn. He matched its speed before tossing the sai ahead of him before clasping onto the plane to take its full weight. Seconds later the sai returned and sliced through both engine struts simultaneously, taking the flaming jets with them. The plane was lighter and without engines but Hatman's strength managed to keep it in the air long enough as he guided it toward the main runway.

The crowds below looked on in amazement. Even the emergency crews had to consciously focus on getting to where the plane would 'land' without being distracted. Hatman slowed down and hovered over the runway. The effort was clearly expressed on his face as he gently lowered the stricken plane to the ground. The pilot, although utterly bewildered as to what was going on, was good enough to lower the landing gear as the plane touched down. Seconds later the doors opened and the evacuation chutes inflated before the passengers were led to safety.

Alison was screaming obscenities, as she couldn't find her camcorder. Mike wasn't helping matters with his constant calls for, "hurry up!" Moments later Adam popped round the corner carrying Alison's camcorder,

"I've found it." he called cheerfully,

"It's a bit late now!" Alison replied scornfully.

Adam didn't mind. The day was saved but still everyone wasn't happy; another typical day.

Sacer felt Fortuna watching over him and looked towards the sky smiling. He raised his hands as the darkened clouds parted revealing a grand light. The piles of dead humans ascended into the sky as the city followed with. What was left was a grand forest worthy of being called Eden.

"Sorry I was late good people." He muttered almost crying at their pain. "You'll find sanctuary in heaven."

He vanished into the serene blue sky to see Fortuna again.

Omino smiled as the balls of light moved towards him. Omino simply raised his hand and moved it quickly to create a smooth light shield. The balls bounced off of the shield and sped back towards Arthur. Omino yelled to Arthur, "You better move at the speed of light if you want to dodge your own attack."

Arthur didn't move and took his own attack. He fell down to the ground. Slowly getting up he looked at Omino. "I'm not going to move."

Fortuna grinned as Sacer approached. "Sacer!!! I have missed you so much!" She opened her arms to embrace him as he arose.

Omino looked at the boy and said, "You're not going to move? Fine then." Omino did clapped his hands together and sent a strong constructive light wave at the former Kid Flash's feet.

As he was getting up he fell back to the floor. He could taste the dirt in his mouth. Getting up fast he started to run. Then he was moving faster then Omino could ever move. He started to shoot light beams at Omino at every point.

Omino looked at Arthur and said, "You are fast, but not fast enough." Omino held his hands out and began to spin. All of the beams of light shot back out in all directions. Omino joked to Arthur, "Didn't think that I could keep up with your speed, right?"

Arthur could feel the light beams hit him. He stopped running and slowed down. He skidded across the beach and looked threw an eye. Looking around he could see the waves crashing. Reaching out with his arm he felt the cold water.

In another part of the small country, at one of the three military bases which was closest to the presently neutral state, an airplane carrying some of the final ingredients for Project Kat.

The actual mixing and testing for the formulae was being done in a bunker close to the palace, but far enought that any explosions would be have minimal effect on the city.

The head of the research project, but not the head scientist arrived at the palace and was quickly given a private audience with the king.
"What is it?"
"All the materials have arrived, and the creation of the serum is underway."
"Good, and the volunteers?"
"We have enought of a cross-section of willing subjects who wish to defend the country against foreign agression."
"Thank you."

After the man had left, the head of K.I.D arrived.
"Sir, there appears to have been an attack on a civilian aircraft, thought we haven't been able to determain as yet who launched the attack. Also the plane was saved by someone we've identified as some one names Hatman, who originated out of New York."
"Alright." Jason replied, "Please try and keep track of any new arrivals as well as if this Hatman resurfaces which new arrivals are in the vicinity."
"Yes your majesty."

Adam wasn't used to the warm climate and the humidity. Yet the uncomfortable temperature was not the problem that was keeping him awake. Due to what was now referred to as a 'miscalculation', only two rooms were booked in the hotel. As a result Alison had immediately locked herself into one of the rooms leaving Mike and Adam to share the second box room.

Adam was trying to sleep on the couch but Mike's constant muttering in bed was preventing that,

"Mike, you wanted the bed," Adam finally said, "will you please stop talking and go to sleep? You're not the only one in here you know."

Normally Mike would retort with some form of British-bashing comment, but his concentration was entirely focused on the night's events,

"Y'know it's funny," he began as though Adam hadn't spoken, "I never would have expected Hatman to turn up in Katigasnian. And for him to turn up at exactly the same moment when a plane was about to crash..."

"Mike!" Adam called again, this time with a little more force, "Who cares? So Hatman turns up here. Maybe he gets around? I don't know. All I do know is that I'm tired and I REALLY want to sleep!"

Mike glanced over at Adam. Only a blue hue from outside served as a dim light in the darkened room,

"I wonder if Hatman has a secret identity?" he asked. Adam couldn't see him, but he felt as though Mike was looking straight at him,

"What do you mean?" he replied, a little more reserved,

"Well, like Superman? I'm sure you British have read comic books?"

Adam turned over and looked into the general direction of Mike's bed. Only his silhouette was cast in the dim blue light, which helped to maintain his sincerity,

"What's with the interest in Hatman all of a sudden?" he asked, "you've made it quite clear in the past that you don't like him."

"I still don't," replied Mike, "but I'll tell you this. After we've finished our little job here in Katigasnian, I'm going to find out just who Hatman really is."

Silence hovered between them. Adam could only imagine just what Mike was insinuating and he daren't think about it in case he was right. In the end his only response was,

"Go to sleep Mike."

No further words were exchanged until the next morning.

Omino walked up behind Arthur and said, "What is wrong?"

Carl grabbed a book from the dragon temple's library on Draconic and took it. Deciding that he would rather not waste his time, he opend the book, and then pulled a log over to do elevated pushups while he read, flipping pages on every fifth push up. He was at it for twenty minutes when his master walked up.

"Determined to defy me to the end. Come, I have a task that you may enjoy."

George picked up the book, then got up to follow his master. They walked to a pond where freshwater trout and Salmon were kept. "I want fish for dinner tonight. Bring me a salmon." Calr went back to a tree when his master asked him "Where are you going?"

"To get a stick that I can carve into a spear."

"Actually, Carl, I want you to get the fish using nothing but your body, and you will remain in human form." Then, mentally, "And I will know if you do not obey." He then scooped up some water to drink. As he did so, his face, for the first time that Carl could remember, changed its expression. "Odd," he said aloud. "This is colder than usual."

Wooshaba']Omino walked up behind Arthur and said, "What is wrong?"

Arthur didn't try to get up. He laid there for a second. "Everything. I don't know why I fight anymore. I'm not a superhero, but I'm a cold blooded murder. I killed without mercy." He started to get up slowly. Arthur looked at Omino. He ran right toward him.

Nightwing had finally found the Dragon's location. He was at a temple training. Nightwing thought to himself, Hopefully this guy will agree to go. He then said aloud, "Who is the closest NJLU member to the temple?" He noticed that Starfire was less than two sectors away. Nightwing decided to contact her.

Starfire was flying up in the clouds when she received a message from the watchtower. She said to herself, "I wonder who that could be?" Starfire answered, "Starfire here." Nightwing spoke into her ear, "Nice to talk to you Starfire." Starfire replied, "Hey Robin." She was the only person who still called him Robin. She was the only person he would let. Nightwing said, "I need you to do me a favor. There is a dragon-warrior that I was hoping to recruit and you are the closest to him. Can you go get him for me?" Starfire responded, "Of course I'll go. The Warrior and I will be up in the tower soon. Over and out." Nightwing smiled and said, "Over and out." When he dropped the conversation with Starfire he began to look for Hatman again. There were still a couple of places he hadn't checked.

Arthur didn't try to get up. He laid there for a second. "Everything. I don't know why I fight anymore. I'm not a superhero, but I'm a cold blooded murder. I killed without mercy." He started to get up slowly. Arthur looked at Omino. He ran right toward him.

Omino simply watched as the boy ran at him. He simply closed his eyes and used his geokinesis to take the form of a diamond. Arthur ran straight into a diamond wall. He was stopped dead in his tracks. Omino then said, "Now what did you do that for?"

Arthur started to move back and faced the other direction. Then he started to run. Once at the other end of the island he turned around. Arthur started to run. He was starting to reach the speed of light. Now he could phase threw anything. Omino was right in his track.

"Hmmm... he is going to hit the speed of light. Good now he will learn how to use light and his speed together." Omino did a special technique with his light and waited for the boy to come and hit him.

Arthur started to make the photons around him make a barrier. Now on the outside he created a shield of light. He was going to become a human torpedo. Just before coming near Omino he lauched himself into the air. He aimmed himself at Omino.

Omino simply waited for the boy to hit him.

Arthur moved straight toward Omino. He hit Omino and move keep on moving him back. With his hands he kept on hitting Omino.

I will have to speak with Enertro about this and get back to you.

"I'm glad I didn't have a shirt on, lest I have it torn off," he chuckled as he slid Diaphanous's bikini top off, kissing her passionately up her chest as he did so.

Omino stood there and took all of the hits. He looked at the speedster and said, "Who taught you how to fight? I have met roaches who could defeat you." The boy kept swinging at Omino and the master simply took them. "Are you going to keep letting your anger control you or are you going to take control?" he asked calmly.

"No taught me. I taught myself." Then Arthur stopped when Omino started to talk about angry controlling him. "The angry does control me." He started to cry put he kept on hitting Omino. The hits kept on growning less and less. Then finally he stopped fell down to the ground.

"Bored? In my house? Never!" chuckled Enertro as he watched Diaphanous. "What do you feel like doing then?"


He walked back to the couch and patted Fenrir on the head, before watching Athena's display. "Where'd you learn that trick?"

"I feel like fighting, but I also want to wait for Decimus to return." She said flicking the bullets back into the air and spinning the chamber. One by one the bullets reloaded themselves perfectly.

"Alucard..." Athena grumbled before holstering the weapon. "Anyway I'm gonna head outside and wait for him, come on Fen!"

She stepped outside and took in the warm weather. Hot, but just enough to barely start sweating, perfect summer weather.

Sacer sat in the clouds playing against himself on a chessboard made of light. He grabbed a darker shaded pawn and held it closely.

"What's your next move Masozi, and who is moving you?" He questioned the piece before moving it into checkmate on white. His eyes widened as he had ignorantly beaten the side he wanted to win.

It's so lonely up here sometimes, I wonder what Fortuna and Guardian are doing.

He kicked back and floated among the clouds relaxing, waiting for Masozi's next move.

"Guardian, what troubles you?" asked Father Gilbert, as he walked out into a beautiful courtyard. Flowers adorned the edges, as the grass was perfectly cut. A large willow stood in the middle of the courtyard next to a small peaceful pond.

Kneeling before a large statue of Jesus, was a massive figure, draped in pure white robes that seemed to glow with a magnificent Radience.

"I feel that I have failed..." Guardian replied, his voice an eery sound as thought it came from all around, including inside one's head. Yet being even this close, no one has ever seen the angel's face.

"But you have not! Clearly you see the good you have done! This city is clean of crime. Sacer is once again a holy angel!"

Guardian shook his hooded head. "No, it is not the city, nor Sacer that I worry about. I feel a different evil moving...I humbly await my call..."

Father Gilbert nodded slowly before kneeling down next to the massive figure.

Omino looked at the boy and said, "What are you angry about? What has happened to you that was so bad? You are nothing but sixteen but you act like you have faced many tribulations. What is going on with you?"

Arthur was on the ground. He grabbed a rock and threw it. "Everything that happened in the past year. I have murdered in cold blood. I have betrayed my friends. I have betrayed the NJLU. I have failed everyone. Even my greatest idols. The Flash. Also I have failed you Omino."

Omino looked at the boy and said, "You haven't failed me. Yes you have made mistakes, but you have to learn from your mistakes. Stand up tall. This is a new beginning for you. Don't shed a tear."

Arthur got up and wiped away his tears. He looked at Omino then back at the ocean. Sighing he took a deep breath. "Ok what will i do now?"

Omino looked at him and said, "I don't know what you will do. It is up to, but for now I think your training should be put on pause. I think you should travel and find out who you are. Once you are ready to train come find me okay. I still be here."

This is what Arthur wanted he gathered his stuff and went back to Omino. "You have been a good teacher. I will come back when the time is ready." Arthur shook Omino's hand then ran off then across the ocean.

Omino watched as his student sped off. Omino thought to himself, Good luck, Arthur. Omino began walking up the beach towards the top of tip of the isle. He then lept up into the air and flew away.

The local police had escorted Alison, Mike and Adam to the Galvania/Katigasnian boarder where a skirmish was recently suppressed. The corpses of the Katigasnian boarder guard were lined up along the roadside, their bodies covered against the elements as the jeep drove past. Mike was filming everything with his camcorder whilst Adam and Alison looked on with unsuppressed shock,

"What happened?" the pale reporter asked their escort, "What possible situation could justify this?"

The driver seemed to take a moment to think of an answer,

"This is just the beginning," he said coldly, "Galvania is just one of our neighbours who want to invade us."

"But why invade?" Adam asked as they passed a burnt out truck,

"Jealousy, greed, you name it and that will probably be the reason."

The jeep rolled to a stop and everyone disembarked. Two of the escorts remained with the vehicle as the driver led them toward the boarder tower. A few seconds past and suddenly Adam felt as though something was very wrong. It was almost as if a thousand eyes were watching them from the shadows.

"Is everything okay?" the driver asked Adam when he noticed his distraction,

"I... don't know," he replied uneasily, "I've just got this horrible feeling that we're being watched."

"That's your paranoia," said Mike unsympathetically.

However Adam's 'sixth sense' was not entirely over-exaggerating. Unfortunately it was too late for him to do anything about it.

Two loud snaps rang out and the escorts near the jeep slumped to the ground in a bloody heap. The trio instinctively turned toward the direction of the commotion and as such did not notice the driver drawing his weapon. He called out in the native language and three guriller soldiers started to emerged from their hiding places.

By now Adam suddenly realised that their 'escort' was actually an impostor and spun round to try and get Mike and Alison away. But the traitor was too quick and cracked Adam across his head with the handle of his gun. The last thing he saw before blacking out was Mike and Alison being manhandled into a van and Alison screaming his name. But there was nothing he could do as his body succumbed to the darkness.

Arthur kept on running until he got to a mountainous area in Europe. He was in the Alps. Looking around he decided to go down and spend sometime there. Looking around at the flags it was Swizterland. On the mountain he saw people skiing. He would try to fit in here and think about life. Looking around he needed some money. Running around he found a bank. He ran inside and took some money. Outside the bank he looked at much money he had. Acouple thousand Swiss Francs. Getting a room at a upscale hotel and getting some suitable cloths. Searching for a while he found a store that sold skis. Buying them he got a year pass to ski. Going up the ski lift he only had a couple hours of daylight left.

Once Enertro and Diaphanous were in the bedroom, Diaphanous was nearly out of control... moaning and breathing heavily. "Enertro, you make me ache for you... it is nearly unbearable." While going up the mountain Arthur sighed. In just acouple hours ago he was with Omino. Now he going up a ski lift. He saw the many people skiing down the moutain. Once up on the top he started to ski down, but a avalanche was starting. Quickly running down the mountain he took off his skis. Then he put on a ski mask and went back up. He started to quickly snatch people and bring them down. Looking around he thought everyone was safe. Then out the corner of his eye he saw another person. Running as he fast as he could he snatched the person and brought the person down. Setting down the person he noticed it was girl about his age. "Are you ok?"

Haze woke up. He walked over to his frig, grabbed a soda and then went and sat on the couch. He was bored so he flicked on the television. It was on the news like always. He saw a young reporter say something about Katigasnia going to war. Haze thought himself, Didn't Dick say something about Katigasnia, earlier? Haze stood redressed himself in his uniform and decided to check out Katigasnia for himself. He grabbed an aspirin to relieve himself of the chronic headaches for an hour or so. He lept out of his window and began flying towards the newly formed country.

Omino had spent a couple days in Hawaii. He liked it over there. This was where he had been taught pyrokinesis and aquakinesis. Omino thought to himself, I wonder if my old fire teacher is around. He began walking towards the capital city.

Sacer drifted in the sky waiting for his prey to make its next move. Bored he began humming a peaceful song, one that he was sure Fortuna knew.

"The darkness gave me power, but I found no comfort. This is all I really need." He said grinning floating weightlessly.

The girl looked up at him. She was about the same age as Arthur, and a pretty girl with a pretty smile.

Candace looked up at the boy who grabbed her. She smiled at Arthur somewhat shyly.

"Yes... I'm fine... Thanks to you. Where in the world did you come from?" She asked.

This boy is so good looking! And where did he come from? I wish I didn't feel so shy sometimes. She blushed.

"I came from the Pacific. I'm just a hero trying to do the right thing."

Arthur still kept his ski mask to not show anyone who was truly. He they found out who he really was then he would put to trial for murder. Arthur looked at Candace. He noticed that she was blushing. So he started to smile back at her. She was very pretty. Underneath the ski mask he was starting to sweat.

"Well, you definitely are a hero," Candace smiled shyly. "If I may be so forward, may I ask your name? I would like to know the name of the boy who saved me." She smiled gratefully at him, still blushing a bit.

"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you. That would put in danger of being kidnapped by my enemies. I can tell you one thing." Arthur walked up to Candace. "I use to be Quickspeed."

He kissed her cheek then ran away back to his hotel.

Prism met with Acillatem. "Hows it going?" "So far, so good Prism. W ehave a plan. We will take my warship, Orion, and attack Enertro's hideout. Sabbath has tries to find it with his magic, but things are hard to find. He has, however, sensed the presense of a powerful demon. So, while my soldiers storm the hideout, Sabbath will summon a demon to distract it. Then, you, I, Maiden, and Sabbath will find Enertro, and fight him together." Prism thought the plan over. "Sounds good, but why do you want to help me so much." "Because you need revenge. And you are special. You have abilities you can't see yet. I like you, Prism. Sabbath showed me what you can become, with help. Your potential is unlimited. As soon as Sabbath finds the hideout, we will strike."

Adam awoke, his head a fountaining well of pain. The guy who cracked him round the head did a neat job. He held onto his cranium and groaned as he tried to get up. In his mind he could see the Xenphian princess standing before him,

"Quick Adam, your friends are in grave danger!" she said desperately.

"Uuuuh," was Adam's first reply, "Wh... why didn't you warn me?"

"I fear your experience with that electricity incident may have weakened my connection to you. However we can worry about that later Adam. Your friends, only the warrior of Xenphia can save them now!"

"Your right." he agreed as he reached behind him, retrieved his Soul Sai and crossed them above his head. The transformation was as spectacular as before and Hatman was soon rocketing through the air...

Haze hovered over Katigasnia for a moment. He could sense there was a lot of turmoil in the area. As Haze was descending his mind felt a blast of power surge up somewhere near him. Haze thought to himself, Hatman is somewhere near. He saw the Warrior of Xenphia soar by. Haze near that there was trouble and quickly followed the other superhero.

A reporter recorded what this mysterious hero did when he saved the people from the avalanche. Soon his face was all over the newspapers. Also he was on the News on the tv. Only one question stood in all of the people's minds. Who was this mysterious hero?

Omino recognized the picture and said aloud, "Arthur you must be more careful." Lew shrugged his shoulders and continued on his way to his destination.

"What do you think? In addition, she would be an advantage when we go to Katigasnian. And there are two others we need to meet there although I have not been given the details."

Diaphanous sighed. "There is one more thing, Enertro," she continued as she looked into his eyes and massaged his shoulder. I feel bad Mojo. Bad Mojo. I know whom it is coming from, because I can always read someone with intense hate. It is coming from Prism. His hatred toward you and I is amazing. He plans on serious revenge, although I could not read how or when. Leaving here may be a good idea in that regard as well.

"I really liked Prism." A tear fell from her eye. "I say we take the job under my condition, see what Athena wants to do, and perhaps Surge and Legion can stay here or move elsewhere depending on how they feel about a possible attack."

On a lighter note, Diaphanous smiled and chuckled... "So what do you think of your co-Master's plan Master?" Diaphanous kissed him lightly on the lips.

"See, I knew you would have good fortune in the end, but I could not convince you, nor was I supposed to, until the time was right. My favorite part was dropping the exotic white flowers on you and Athena on the cliff. You/Decimus. She is a very special girl. I wanted that to be a memorable moment for you both, so I thought 'raining exotic pure white flowers... no one would forget that!' I hope it did help make things memorable for you. "Unfortunately, it is not just Masozi now, there are at least three dangers to the world on their way. I sometimes wonder if He is thinking Apocalypse Time. Sabbath was still searching for Enertro's location. He sat in deep thought. Using his powers, he had contacted many dead spirits and had them search for him. Several places had shown up, and he was narrowing them down. Maiden sat in a corner, bored.

Sabbath was about to give up when he finally found something. An island, hidden away from the rest of the world. This must be where Enertro was. He got up. "Maiden, I've found it. Let's go." They went to Acillatem. "I've found it." He gave him the location. "Excellent. Prism, come with me and the others. Your time of glory has come, my friend. I need about a quarter of the soldiers here. Mutant or human. Get ready, for this will be a fierce battle. But I will not make you do this. Who wishes to come by there own will?" A mass of hands and cheers rose up. Acillatem smiled. He selected the warriors he wanted. And boarded the warship. It was futuristic looking. It was larger than any plane, with turrents, cannons, and other nasty looking things coming out of it. "Behold my warship, the Orion." "It's a beaut." Prism said. He was ready. Enertro, it's time to die.

"ugh...more NJLU..." Enertro growled as he got up. "I still hate them, Dia. They tempt me every day, every minute, constantly annoying me, tempting me to take over the world..."

Enertro cursed under his breath as he got dressed before turning back towards Diaphanous. He was about to shout at her, when his face softened. He could not yell at his soulmate...she was too...perfect.

"Fine, my love. Let us go. However, Surge and Legion are currently...occupied..."

"Ladies and gentlemen, you have all been a good audience. Legion," came the gruff voice of Surge, in a red cape and a general's Uniform.

Several Legions came out of a massive bank vault, which had been ripped off it's hinges by the Legions. Each legion carried a huge bag of money as they walked to an armored truck in front of the bank.

"Freeze!" came the voice of a police officer outside. Suddenly, several shots could be heard before a police officer was thrown through the glass window.

"Are you done yet, Legion?" growled Surge as he walked outside. He opened his hand wide, sending deadly bolts of electricity at a cop car, creating a deadly explosion.

"Almost, just got the last bag," replied a nearby Legion. Sure enough, the last legion with the bag walked out. Immediately all the Legion-clones were sucked into the real Legion. "That's always fun."

"You could have waited for us to have killed more of them," Surge growled as he continued to shoot beams of deadly electricity. He casually walked to the drivers seat and walked in. Legion joined in on the passenger's seat and tossed the bag in the back, where it hit a massive pile of money.

With a squeel of the tires, both criminals took off to their masters, Enertro and Diaphanous.

Once everyone was in Orion, it began to rise. Prism looked out a window to see that the ship was underwater. Finally it rose up far from the shore. Then it shot foward. "So, how long until we get to the island?" Prism asked. "Shouldn't take to long. Which is good. I've been bored for so long." Maiden said with a bit of excitement.


After a while, an island came into sight. The ship stop and hovered in idair. "Sabbath," Acillaem said, "Cloak us." Sabbath muttered some words, and the ship turned invisible. Prism was eager. They waited for the perfect time to strike.

Hatman was scanning the details of the buildings below as he flew over a small, deserted town. Despite his senses he was finding the task of locating Alison and Mike a challenge, but that never detracted from his unwavering determination.

His concentration was almost flawless, but focusing his attention to the task of finding his alter ego's co-worker's meant that he had missed the initial signs that he was being followed. Hatman slowed his flight speed and turned to see that another was in the air with him. He seemed to recognise the individual from a distant memory, which felt as though it belonged to someone else; Haze!

Hatman was about to beckon him over when the air around him was suddenly filled with a hail of bullets. Hatman's reactions were like lightening as he twisted and dived toward the ground. He unsheathed his sai and locked the sacred weapons together blade-to-hilt. The sai became one and morphed into the soul sword as Hatman levelled off near the ground and sped toward the attackers.

The two machine gunners watched the caped hero dive toward the ground and triumphed as they celebrated their marksmanship. However the look on the first soldier quickly changed to that of pure horror as the gantry on which he was standing suddenly collapsed. The crashing metal drowned his cries and his colleague could do nothing but watch him fall to the ground.

The second soldier spotted Hatman rising up from the cloud of debris, levelled his assault rifle and fired. Hatman pulled his sword apart and the weapon reverted to the soul sai, which he then used to deflect the onslaught of bullets. However he wasn't aware of the sniper creeping up the fire escape on the building behind him...

When the tv went to the video of himself. Arthur shook his head. Only Candace knew the name of the hero. Quickspeed. He blew on his hot chocolate and heard her question. Arthur looked her beautiful blue eyes.

"Sorry for staring. It's just that your eyes are so beautiful. Oh my name is Arthur MacGregor. Quickspeed use to be the superhero speedster back Keystone City. I know this because I live in Keystone City. Quickspeed joined the NJLU, but quit and hasn't been seen for six months. Until today. I wonder what he was doing here."

Arthur sipped his hot chocolate. It was at the perfect temperature. He put down the cup and looked at Candace.

"So are you around from here or are you visiting?"

Candace blushed when the guy who introduced himself as Arthur MacGregor complimented her eyes.

"So Quickspeed was with the NJLU... I see." Candace replied to Arthur's explanation.

"Actually I live not too far from here. I like to ski and snowboard and this is a great place for it." She giggled. "Well it is not as if I had a choice as to where my parents chose to live." Candace smiled.

"I have to say, I like Switzerland. It is quite peaceful, but there are fun things to do." Candace smiled at Arthur. She was beginning to become more comfortable around him.

"Are you here visiting Arthur? Do you live in Keystone City now?" She asked.

Arthur smilied and looked toward Candace. He saw that she was blushing. She must of been still a little shy. Grabbing he cup he took another drink. It was hot and felt good after coming in from the cold. Listening to Candace he found out that she was Swiss. Putting his cup down he looked at her.

"I would love to live here. Skiing is one of my favorite pasttimes. Also I'm just here to visit with my family. Yep we still live in Keystone City. There they have a musuem about the Flash and other great speedsters. Actually they have Quickspeed's old costume there."

Arthur saw a waiter come by and drop off Candace's hot chocolate. He paid for both of the hot chocolate.

"Why are so interested in Quickspeed?"

"Oh! The guy who saved everyone from the avalanche told me he 'used to be' Quickspeed, and I didn't know who Quickspeed was." Candace replied. "Actually, I don't know who most of the NJLU members are. It has always been so quiet over here. I guess I never paid a lot of attention to the individual members."

Candace sipped her hot chocolate. "Thank you for paying for my hot chocolate, Arthur." She smiled at him. He seems really nice. Not like the creeps at my high school. She mused.

"How long are you here for Arthur?" Candace asked.

"It seems pretty quiet in Switzerland. Back in the States I all of he citizen know whose in the NJLU." Arthur took another sip of his hot chocolate.

"Oh it fine. It's the least I could do. I'm been here for about two days now."

Arthur looked out the window and saw that the sun was starting to set. He looked at Candace. Arthur wondered if it would be weird to ask...it would be fine.

"I seem to notice that the sunsetting. How about I take you to dinner."

"Oh that would be lovely," Candace replied, smiling. "Do you have any place in mind?" Candace asked.

Although she was from Switzerland, it was possible Arthur had a place he liked to go, so she thought she would ask him first.

"Oh sorry I really don't any idea. So can you think of the favorite place and I will take you there." Arthur said as he finished the hot chocolate. He started to get up and put jacket. Then he pulled out her chair and got her jacket ready for her to put on.

"Well someone has to look after the humans since Guardian is slacking off." He teased before lowering his head in shame. "I couldn't save them." He gasped. "A lot of innocent people suffered and I couldn't save them."

The warrior angel sobbed as he held onto Fortuna tightly.

"I understand about orders and the balance, but it hardly seems fair at times." He admitted wiping away his tears. "Speaking of chess, Masozi may lead us right to the other evils so we can exterminate this threat once and for all. I won't let the apocolypse happen, not yet."

Sacer rubbed the abck of his head before another chess board formed, immediately he spun as so he was black.

"Raining flowers? Nah, I remember no such thing." He teased scanning the board.

"Sacer, I know how you feel. It is the same as when I have to bestow bad fortune on someone due to my orders. You see, those you tried to save, I was ordered not to bestow good fortune on them."

Fortuna began crying with him. "It is like we're working against each other, or... wow... I do not know the plan. It is so convoluted that none of us knows what is going on it seems."

Fortuna stopped crying and rubbed Sacer's back. "The thing is... I did not look when it happened, and you were there. I am so very sorry my dear."

Sacer seemed somewhat consoled, and Fortuna put her hands on her hips, cocked her head and said "Oh right.", when Sacer teased her about not remembering the flowers.

The chess board came up. "Ready to get your ass kicked Sacer!" She grinned slyly with a gleam in her eye.

IC: Haze saw the sniper creeping up on Hatman. Haze shook his head and pointed at the man. Just as the sniper was about to fire on Hatman the gun backfired and sent the sniper flying. Haze looked down at the sniper and said, "Don't you know that superheroes travel in packs?" He then trapped the man in a telekinetic bind so that he couldn't move. Haze descended down next to Hatman. He greeted his fellow hero and asked, "Why are you in Katigasnia? Have you heard something going on here?"

Starfire flew into the country where the dragon was supposed to be. She flew through the airways looking for a sign of the dragon.

"Your move Miss-I-Can-Do-Nothing-But-Take-Orders." He played while sticking his tongue out.

There was still some concern on his face as he tried to understand the nature of the evil he was fighting. His mind wasn't even focused on the game as he threw his queen out to slaughter.

"How can we justify an apocolypse?" He asked wanting to kick himself in the head for his last move. "Where is Guardian anyway? This should be his jurisdiction afterall. My job is to take the light into the darkness, his is to shield the light from darkness."

"Reave was never like that before, he never had any of those powers." The wounded demon growled in pain.

Candace was shocked when Arthur pulled out her chair and held her jacket out for her. "Thank you Arthur. You have nice manners, if you do not mind me saying." She grinned at him.

"As far as my favorite place, let me think a minute." My favorite place is a bit pricey, so I will think of something a little more affordable.

"Well Arthur, there is a hamburger place down the road, if you would like to go there, unless you were thinking something more upscale. What type of food are you hungry for? That will help me think of a restaurant."

Candace smiled at him waiting for his answer.

"Sacer, I do not believe there will be an apocalypse. Perhaps a near miss, but I think it could perhaps be a warning. I do not even pretend to understand." Fortuna replied.

"I just easily nailed your queen. You are not into the game. We should perhaps relax together, my friend." Fortuna held her hand out and grasped Sacer's hand.

"Let us go float over here." She guided him to a relaxing area where they could be weightless and talk.

"Why I do exactly what I am told is two fold. First, I know there is a grand scheme and evil will not triumph, although it will hurt and destroy much. Second, if I go against God, I will be cast into hell. I do not particularly want to spend eternity there." Fortuna squeezed his hand and grinned.

"I do not know; as you are the embodiment of the lord's love. I would imagine I am the fufillment of his wrath as well." He admitted floating lazily towards Fortuna with his single wing draped downwards.

"I am by your side again because you convinced me it is the right path, and I know that in all my heart. As for hell..." The angel winced. "I've seen it far more than I'd like to recall as you well know."

He felt her tug on his hand and he shot a smile back.

"I can't stand to see people suffer and if God's apocolypse causes that then i may just..." Sacer paused turning his head away holding in tears. The last thing he would want to do is to go back.

"No Sacer! You stay on the right path. It will be the only way to happiness in the long run." Fortuna pulled Sacer's hand so they were next to each other and she hugged him.

"I missed you so much. Please do not leave us again, dearest friend. I do not think I could stand it." She held him tight.

"King Jason, of the fifty-eight volunteers, so far fifty-six have been unable to take the prep testing and basic formulae. The two remaining are both admirable candidates and as soon as the formulae is complete we should be able to administer it and save our land."
"Good." He replied, "Keep at it but don't push the scientists, we don't want them getting sloppy."
"Yes sir." The man replied before departing.

Jason watched him leave, then headed to bed and his beautiful wife.

"I'm kind of mood to eat some of the local food." Arthur said as he zipped up his jacket.

"Well, there is an excellent restaurant that serves a variety a fish, if you like fish." Candace told Arthur. "They even have a sushi chef and I am quite fond of sushi." Candice smiled.

"All either certified mercury free or extremely low in mercury... so we will not be having a dinner of heavy metal with some fish on the side." Candace laughed.

He broke away floating back to the chess board.

"Don't try to distract me from winning!" He grinned while moving his knight into check.

"No Sacer. Humans will be harmed and lose their lives. It is all part of the plan. You must not fight the light. See what happened last time? It is all part of a divine plan. I feel that same pain, and I must endure it as well."

Fortuna looked at the chess board and grinned at Sacer. "Oh, so you saw through my plan!" She laughed.

Arthur was laughing and almost collasped on the floor. "Candace that was very funny. I guess then sushi it is. Lead the way."

Arthur put his hand out and waited for hers.

"Thank you Arthur." She said, smiling as she grasped his hand.

"You know, you are nothing like the guys at my high school. You are so polite and kind, and have not grabbed me in an area where you should not." Candace chuckled. "The guys at my school are all a bunch of jerks." A disgusted look appeard on her face.

"I bet you have never done anything wrong in your life, Arthur. You are very sweet. I feel very lucky to have met you." She squeezed his hand.

Candace was comfortable with Arthur now. He wasn't anything like the assholes at school, who only wanted to get into her pants, and made no attempt to hide it. She was almost blissfully happy that a boy like Arthur even existed.

"It my pleasure." Arthur held her hand and almost fainted, but kept himself together. He held her lightly.

"Oh I would never act that way to a women. Women need to be treated with respect." Arthur said as he smiled. When she said the thing about doing nothing wrong in his life he glupped. Arthur knew he had, but he couldn't tell Candace what he had done.

"I have done some stuff that is wrong, but nobodys perfect." Arthur started to turn red when she said the kind things about him.

"So can you lead the way?"

"Sure, we can take my car." They walked to a black Lambo Countach.

"This is my dad's. He let me take it today." Candace grinned. "I love this car!" She started the engine.

"There is a straightaway road that runs for quite a distance. After dinner, if you would like, we could push this baby to the limit out there!" Candace mentioned. "If you like speed that is, Arthur." She looked at him grinning. "I sure do!"

They left the parking lot and headed to The Dory.

Arthur looked inside and thought it was a nice car. Back in New York he didn't care that much for cars since he walked everywhere.

"It a fine nice car. Also speed is ok."

Once getting to The Dory Arthur opened Candace's door and put out his hand.

"Here you are madam."

"Last time I made the mistake of allying with the darkness." He replied eyes wandering across the chess board. "If I see that the light will bring harm to the humans then I will stand alone. Slaying both darkness and light to protect those who cannot protect themselves. The guardian knows this well and I feel he would join me if such a thing were to happen."

Guardian, Fortuna and I are in the heavens discussing something rather important. Would you join us if it isn't to inconvenient.

"The likelyhood that the side of light would go out of its way to harm humans is rather obsurd." Sacer mused.

"Oh, I certainly do not mean out of it's way. I mean things like what happened today." Fortuna explained. She moved her left hand knight.

Speed is OK? Candace thought that to be a strange comment.

"Arthur, what do you usually drive, that you would think this vehicle, one of the fastest in the world, has speed that is just 'OK'? Well then we have not been anywhere I can show you the true possibilities of this car."

When they arrived, and Arthur put his hand out for her, she was just shocked again. So thoughtful.

Candace smiled. "Thank you Arthur. You are very considerate. I hope you like this restaurant."

"It's nothing at all." Arthur closed the car door shut. Then opened the resturant door open until Candace got inside. He got a table for them and he sat down. Arthur looked at the menu a little puzzled.

"I really don't know what to get. I never eaten sushi before. Can you recommend me something?"

"Today was done by the hands of a demon; I certainly do not expect god to interfere so I cannot be upset about it. However, if god chooses to harm humans, what would I do then?" He said wincing at Fortuna's last move before making one last desperate attempt for victory by pressing his king forward.

Guardian's head slowly rose as he heard the request of his summons. He finished his prayers before his strip-like wings wrapped around him, tightening around him until the wings themselves disappeared.

Up in the heavens, the clouds rose up into the form of a cacoon. Suddenly, the clouds were blown off as Guardian stretched his wings out.

"You called?" he asked.

I want to know why they are about to be attacked by so many nations. This reminds me of the time when all of the world's major nations tried to destroy the NJLU. We barely made it out of there." Haze hoped that last comment would help Hatman remember him more. Haze looked over to were the bullets had been coming from. Haze replied, "I think you are right about us being near. Let's go." The Phantom Haze began flying towards the enemies.

"Oh Arthur, it is not all sushi... just this page. Flip the menu and it's all regular fish." She informed him. "I just happen to like sushi myself" Candace grinned, "Not everyone is into raw fish, so it is understandable if you choose one of the others. They also serve other seafood; lobster, crab, mussels, oysters, you name it. Order whatever you want. I can give you a piece of my sushi so you can try it. I wouldn't reccomend it if you never tried it. You may hate it." She giggled.

A tear dripped from Fortuna's eye after listening to Sacer. A beautiful white rose landed on the chess board.

"I guess I will just try some of your sushi." Arthur looked at the menu and similed at Candace then looked back at the menu. He sipped at his glass of water then the water came.

"I would like some mussels. What would you like Candace?"

In the city in the night, all seemed calm quite and peaceful. But evil was afoot. Two vicious robbers we're hitting another jewlery store, shooting both guards on duty in cold blood.

"Go let's go."

"It takes time to break into a vault. Got it!"

They opend the vault and searched it with their high-powerd flash lights.

"It's empty. It should be full."

A kick from above came down on him, the machine gun flew from his hands. He reached for it and shooted around frantically, untill running out of Ammo. Shadow sent him flying out the window, and into a pile of cinder blocks

"Mystic on your right!" Shouted the boy Shadow

"Got it!" She punched down the second robber.

He pulled out his smaller gun shooting her in the shoulder. "Ahh!" The grabbing her leg

Shadow jetted (the term when he activates his jet shoes) over and ontop of the burgler.

"You okay?"

"It's not bad."


Sirens waild.

"Let's scram."


The cops looked over the crime sceene.

"Well we finally have these two off the streets, both pretty badly injured, one with a concusion the other with 3rd Degree Burns."

"The last thing I need is a few viglanties running around." The cheif said bitterly.

"Let's face it, the vigilanties are doing better than we can do. If the mayor won't give us more manpower, then what can we do?"

"It sends the wrong message that any wackjob with a MP5, can go around rounding up criminals."


Meanwhile, Henrey and Kelly (Shadow and Mystic) finally unsuited. Henrey had to bandage up Kelly's shoulder.

"It's no big deal I'll just tell mom It's a rugby injury."

"You don't play rugby."

"So I'll tell her I tried it. Anyway, we did good. We got the bad guy."

"We still didn't make it in time, and two guards got killed."

"Well we cant win them all. I'm sure Batman loses sometimes. I'm off to bed."


Meanwhile in a secluded laboratory,

A man nammed Roger Connen (alt. ego Hydro) lied in a tank of water. That was his means of survival, stayin in liquid constantly. If the pores in his lungs didn't absorb, he would sufficate.

A loud knock caught his attention. The lid to the tomb like bed, (Like the one DareDevil sleeps in) opend up leaving a glass hold. It lifted upward, and one of his grunts was standing there.

"I told you I don't want to be desturbed."

"We found something that you might want boss. This gem is being deliverd tomorrow night, it's the perfect cut for your laser to reflact through."

He looked at the paper.

"Perfect."

"I will have the carb free sush and a diet cola. Also some miso soup please." Candace handed the menu to the server and looked back at Arthur.

Candace smiled at Arthur. She couldn't help it; she was very happy with the company and enjoying herself so much. "The sushi I ordered consists of 5 different types of raw fish, rice, a type of extremely thin sliced exotic radish, all wrapped in seaweed. Miso soup, if you've never had it, is excellent. The sushi sounds scarey, but it is amazingly good. It is served with wasabi and freshly cut ginger slices." She explained. "You can give it a try and see what you think."

Candace started to laugh. "My biggest problem, for as much as I eat at Japanese restaurants, is that I'm not too deft with the chopsticks! So no laughing when I use them!" She grinned at Arther.

"I want to thank you again for taking me to dinner. This was very thoughtful of you and I appreciate it... and I appreciate the company." Candace blushed again.

The server wrote down both meals. Arthur gave the server his menu. Then he looked back toward Candace. He kept on notice that she was similing. Arthur really did like this girl, but Arthur thought this girl liked Quickspeed more then him.

"I think I will try some, but raw fish." Arthur said and started to laugh. "I think I have had just wabasi. It set my mouth on fire. After that I needed water badly."

Arthur could remember that moment. It was back during his younger years as Quickspeed. He was starving and only found some green thing. When eating it whole his eyes watered. Then quickly ran off trying to find water. Once finding water he drank as fast as he could.

"I promise not to laugh, but I'm very good at using them." Arthur picked up a pair of chopstick and used them perfectly. "I have no idea where I learned it. I guess I might be a natural."

"Oh it fine. I should be thanking you for accepting it." Arthur saw that she was starting to blush. He started to heat up and he could feel a drop of sweat fall down.

"Figures... the only decent guy to ask me to dinner can use chopsticks well!" Candace chuckled.

"You are correct. Wasabi is insanely hot, depending on who makes it. It is great with ginger on sushi." She smiled at Arthur. She really liked him.

"So what is it that you do? Just go to school, and the usual, I suppose. The same drudgery I go through." Candace laughed.

"It has been so nice meeting someone enjoyable to spend time with, the way you are Arthur." Candace met his eyes. "This has been a great day. Meeting you has been wonderful and the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time." Candace was quite forward, and not knowing how Arthur felt, she blushed again.

Prism looked at the island. It looked heavily fortified. "Acillatem. Let's wait a little bit before we strike. Wait until they drop their guard." The wait was killing him, but he was patient. He also didn't want to kill Enertro in the attack on the island. He wanted to kill him himself. You'll pay, Enertro. You and everyone else.

"Yeah I usually go to school, but when I have time off I usually play some soccer or as the rest of the world calls it football." Arthur said as he put down the chopsticks.

"I have had a good time with you too Candace. It one of the best things that has happen to me in a while too." He said while he noticed that she blushed. Arthur knew that he felt the same way she did. This is one of the most fun in he had in a while. Six months training with Omino and another month before that of fighting and being in the NJLU. Arthr's hand moved forward and grasped hers. He held hers very lightly.

Then the server came back with both of their meals. Arthur was kind of hungry, but waited until Candace started to eat.

Starfire flew over the country for some time. She still had not met the dragon. She was starting to think that he wasn't there. Starfire pushed in an earpiece and said, "Dick, I haven't seen your dragon." Nightwing responded, "He is there, I promise. Stay there for a little while and if you don't see him page back in." Starfire replied, "Okay. Over and out." The earpiece disconnected and Starfire continued flying around the country trying to find the dragon.

Sacer saw Fortuna shed a tear and withdrew his winning move. Instead he put his king into a corner pretty much giving the game away.

"I would never fight the light again, but I can't stand to see people suffer." He said bumbing his king over to the side.

The angel turned and waved to the guardian who had been quite silent and patient for a while. "Yo." Sacer greeted smiling. "You're just in time for the informal battleplan."

"Imagine that," Guardian replied with no feeling in his voice as he floated in one place.

"Who is the demon on earth?" He asked suddenly, his wings forming into their strips.

"Masozi Nuada." Sacer replied sharply raising an eyebrow as a hologram of the demon appeared before them. "He has been around since the very beginning of time, and has not matured a day. Fortunately for us he was enslaved by the third general of Hell, Hrist. Unforunately for us, he killed her with the help of an unknown force."

The angel used his long blade to point out various weaknesses and strengths on the hologram.

"He is notably weak to cold because of his serpent like blood." He finished smiling.

"Enertro... I have that bad Mojo feeling again. I assume things on the island are taken care of?" Diaphanous asked as the helicopter waited. "I have a very bad feeling my love. Now that it is closer, I can feel the hate. It is Prism and he is close. I can read him. He wants us dead... thinks we betrayed him." Diaphanous shed a tear, as she always liked Prism.

"He is not alone. He is with a wrathful group. Very dangerous... I recommend that I catch Haze or Nightwing telepathically, and have them transport us to the satellite."

Diaphanous knew he would not like this. "My love," she held him and kissed him passionately, "We will be shot down, most likely live and be tortured by this group. We must leave and bring Athena with us! I am not exaggerating. Please tell me this is OK with you!" Her face showed fear. I will contact Nightwing now.

Nightwing. We are about to be captured and tortured and murdered by Prism and a strange group. We have no time to take a helicopter anywhere. He is very close. Please teleport Enertro, Athena, and myself to the satellite. We will not live any other way... and hurry!

Fortuna could not get into the game. Guardian showed up. She smiled. Nice to meet you. As Sacer explained things with his hologram, Fortuna's heart sunk. As much as Sacer could not to see suffering, Fortuna could not as well.

It hurt her so badly because she technically had the power to stop it, but was unable to use it. Fortuna began singing the song that reminded her of a new beginning: Sound Life.

Arthur knew that Candace loved him and he felt the same way. "We should enjoy this moment, so are you going to your sushi?"

Candace grinned at Arthur. "Of course I am going to eat my sushi!" She replied as she put a piece on Arthur's plate along with some wasabi and ginger. "See what you think." She smiled.

"I am glad we can keep in touch Arthur." She looked into his eyes and could not hide how much she cared about him.

Once she started to eat Arthur started to eat his mussels. They were very good. When Candace gave him the plate Arthur picked up his chopsticks. He picked up the sushi and pust some ginger and wasabi. Then he ate it. After chewing it for it awhile he swallowed. His eyes started to water. Then he quickly went for his glass and chugged it down.

"Whew....that was hot." Arthur started to laugh and finished up his mussels and paid for the dinner. Once Candace was done he pulled back her chair and got her jacket ready. "Are you ready to go Madam?"

Candace began laughing at Arthur's reaction to the wasabi. "I know it's hot, but do you like the sushi? You don't have to put wasabi on it." She was grinning.

After dinner, Arthur was the perfect gentleman. "Thank you." She said as he held out her coat for her. "I'm glad you liked the mussels." Candace smiled.

"Well, we can make an attempt at going a decent speed on that road I spoke of, unless you would rather go somewhere else." She said, letting Arthur make the decision. After all, it was his vacation.

"Candace where is the one place you would like to visit in the whole world?" Arthur asked.

"In the world?" Candace did not have to hesitate to answer. "Japan. I always wanted to go to Japan. How about you?" She asked Arthur.

Arthur didn't answer the question but grabbed Candace legs and her back. He lifted her up then looked at her. "Don't be afraid." Then Arthur started to run. The scene around them was moving by at a fast rate. Then Arthur stopped. He set Candace down. Arthur leaned on a tree and pointed toward a mountain. "Candace there you go Mt.Fuji." The sun was starting to rise and bounced off of the lake.

Enertro's copter was all prepared for their trip to the strange named country, which half the crew couldn't pronounce. Enertro was dressed in his suit as he walked into the copter, Diaphanous in hand.

"I am not getting any ride from those infernal fiends of the NJLU..." Enertro growled as he pushed Fenrir, Athena, and Diaphanous into the luxorious copter. "I have full confidence that the traitor will meet his doom on my island defences. Plus, if they happen to survive my many guards, turrets, traps, among other things, Surge and Legion can take care of them. I have already sent a message to them with the warning."

Then, with a look of satisfaction, Enertro walked into the copter and they took off..

At long last, the Orion finally launched it's attack. It appeared out of no where, and blasted Enertro's island with artillery shells. The islands defenses were quickly damaged. Then, as soldiers came to defend it, the gun turrents unloaded, sending a hail of bullets down into their bodies. The Orion was hit several times, however, and it landed quickly on a clear area. It's hatch opened, and soldiers, some human, some superbeings, rushed out and fought with Enertro's. Sabbath, Maiden, Acillatem, and Prism lept out and began fighting. Sabbath used elemental magic, sending fireballs, lightning bolts, and ice shards flying. Maiden transformed into a hideous, 8 ft zombie like demon, bristling with spikes, and turned the battle into a bloodbath. Acillatem used his threads as whips, flinging soldiers away. And Prism used his signiture powers to cause havoc. Then, he saw a helicopter flying away. Enertro. Prism launched a light beam at the copter, hitting the bottom. Before he could get off another shot, it was out of sight.

Nightwing responded, I see that crazed fool. I am going to teleport the helicopter somewhere safe. Nightwing hit a series of buttons on the desk in front of him. As Prism shot fire at Enertro's party, Nightwing teleported the whole helicopter up to the Watchtower. In the training room to be exact. Nightwing walked towards the training room as he heard a large machine land on the floor of it. Nightwing walked over and greeted Enertro and Diaphanous. He remembered Athena and Fenrir so he also said hello to them. He then said, "Welcome to the NJLU Watchtower."

Enertro angrily shot off an energy beam at the copter door, slamming it into the wall behind it. He jumped out and pulled out a gun, aiming it at the hero. "I've been waiting a long time for this moment," he growled.

What about my love? Raven must teach her control...I cannot kill them... he thought angrily. Enertro put his gun back in it's holster and furrowed his eyebrows as he stared at Nightwing.

"I'm surprised you even teleported us..." he mumbled, making sure he didn't say saved.

"Sire, both the volunteers have been able to accept the formulae and are presently in induced slumber as their bodies adjust. Soon Katigasnia's borders will be effectively safeguarded from the predations of Carmina, Galvania, Uterikstan and even Maikastan, thought I would suggest we search for more volunteers, perhaps enought to have four teams of two to serve as an efficiant protection force and so the average citizen isn't as worried about being called off to war."
"That sounds like a good idea, but remember they must all be volunteers."
"Yes sire."

Jason headed to the bathroom and drew himself a hot bath where he let himself soak, briefly returning to his original features before getting out, toweling off and retiring for the night in the arms of his wife. His last thought before he fell asleep was that all was right with the world.

Wooshaba']Haze could tell by Hatman's face that he couldn't remember him. Haze told him, "No problem. I am also here because of something strange that is going on here in Katigasnia. I want to know why they are about to be attacked by so many nations. This reminds me of the time when all of the world's major nations tried to destroy the NJLU. We barely made it out of there." Haze hoped that last comment would help Hatman remember him more. Haze looked over to were the bullets had been coming from. Haze replied, "I think you are right about us being near. Let's go." The Phantom Haze began flying towards the enemies.


Hatman and Haze continued on their flight toward an area which seemed to be a hive of military activity. There was nothing to suggest that either of them had been spotted. However below them, a single anti-aircraft flak gun was armed and ready...

After the battle had raged, Enertro's side had lost, due to surprise, and the fact that there were superbeings on Prism's side. "Enertro's gone. God Dammit! We just missed him! " Prism was raging. "Relax Prism. We can look inside the fortress and find out where they're going. Sabbath, is the demon still here?" "No,i t left with Enertro." "Alright. Maiden, Sabbath, come with me and Prism. The rest of you, guard the ship, and work on repairs." The group entered the fortress expecting it to be unguarded.

Nightwing simply looked at the gun. "Why didn't you take the shot?" he asked sarcastically. He looked at the whole group and said, "You guys are welcome. I couldn't risk my main allies lives, so I had to teleport you guys up here." Nightwing looked around and said, "This is the NJLU training room. One hour of training in here is like training on earth for a year. It is a very useful blend of Martian and Kryptonian technology." Nightwing looked at the copter and said, "I don't what you are going to do with that machine. I would suggest leaving it here for the time being." Nightwing began walking towards the door and said, "Follow me to the conference room." He opened the door and walked out.

"You're not worth my bullets," Enertro growled as he followed Nightwing into the conference room.

Surge and Legion had made it into the secret entrance of the fortress and walked into the room of the officers in charge.

"Well, what's happening?" Surge growled as he loaded up a machine gun and slung it over his shoulder.

"They've destroyed the defenses of the island, and we are all that's left. Enertro, Athena, Fenrir, and Diaphanous have left right before the attack."

"And our positions?"

"We're bricaded in the lobby awaiting their arrival. We are keeping patrols around the palace in case of a sneak attack."

"Legion, you know what to do," Surge said. Legion nodded and walked out the room, multiplying himself several times, picking up several weapons, chainguns, machine guns, and rpgs.

"So, anyone else of importance we should learn about?"

"Super beings, generals. Several of importance. One has tentacle's that can whip people around. Another has morphed himself into a zombie creature. The last that we know about is one who control's the elements."

"Thank you, commander. Let's see what we can do," Surge replied as he walked out into the hallway, the Legion's following him.

The army had pushed the guard back. It was obviously preparing for an assault. "We shouldn't rush in there. It would be a massacre. However, Sabbath, you could probably make things a little hard for them, yes?" Acillatem said with a smile. "Yes, I suppose I could." Sabbath raised his hands, and muttered some words. Inside the barracade, several weapons began to disappear, melt, or explode. "We'll wittle them down. Eventually they'll be defenseless."

Nightwing retorted back to him, "You wouldn't have been able to hit me if you had shot." Nightwing and group finally reached the conference room door. Nightwing said, "Stand back." He then put his eye up to a device. It scanned his eye, the door opened, and then the group walked in. Nightwing instructed the group to sit at the round table. Nightwing then said, "I see that you have some people who really don't like you."

After waiting for a little while, the group decided to take a different route. Tey went down one of the corridors, which was almost unguarded, except for a few soldiers who were taken out before they realized it. Acillatem looked at one of them. He was still alive, but knocked out. Acillatem let a thread out, and it struck the back off the man's neck. Acillatem had the thread enter the man's central nervous system, and had control. "Sabbath, cloak." Sabbath immeaditly made Acillatem, and the thread, invisible. "If I need to be teleported out, be prepared. "He walked into the barricaded room as a soldier, and looked around. He saw one man more decorated than the others. Some one called him Surge. "Lord Surge," the soldier said under command "what do we do now?"

Surge raised an eyebrow at the man. "What are you, an idiot? Shouldn't you be patroling or holding the barricade?" Surge growled.

"You keep saying that...I'm not the one with a destroyed organization," Enertro returned, his thoughts going back to his mansion.

"Prism...It's a shame he turned on us."

"No sir, my position was switched. I'm just asking, there's no way they can get in here without us firing upon them, right? And where is Legion?" Acillatem had heard about Legion a little while before hand.

"He's all over..." Surge replied with a small smile, before frowning again. "Get back to your post. If idiots like you get away from them, they can infiltrate!"

"Yes Sir!" Acillatem returned to the group. "A direct attack would be futile. Also, a superbeing known as Legion is 'all over the place'. Let's be on the look out. There has to be someway in there." The group walked down the corridors looking for a way in.

Nightwing smiled and said, "We are not destroyed, just small in numbers. To me it looks like you turned on him."

"Enertro... I did not ask Nightwing to teleport us. He did it on his own." Diaphanous was upset that Enertro was so angry.

"I think... our island is history, Enertro.

"Damn that Prism! He was my friend!" As Diaphanous screamed, her eyes turned solid black and unknowingly, she was creating hydrogen bombs in the atmosphere.

"That bastard! How could he! If he hurts Surge or Legion, I'll kill him myself! Maybe we should have Surge and Legion teleported? What do you think Enertro? Otherwise they will fucking be dead! That island is history! Prism's freaks have infiltrated the whole island and just about destroyed it, and Legion and Surge do not even know!" Diaphanous was screaming.

"Let me out of here! I will go kill that bastard myself. I will fly down and kill him with my own hands!" Diaphanous yelled with venom coming from her mouth and solid black eyes, and nuclear explosions going on all over.

After finding no good entrance to the roon. The group decided on something else. Sabbath sent a message that could be heard throughout the entire island. "Followers of Enertro. You have wronged a man. But, the man has offered you mercy. If you surrender now, you will be brught with as, given good treatment, and not killed. If you try to fight, you will die. What is your response?" As Prism waited, he could feel something. Intense anger washing over him It was strange.

"Dia, calm yourself," Enertro whispered as he immediately went to Diaphanous' side. "Surge and Legion will be fine. The island will be fine. Don't worry about them. They're trained well."

Enertro wrapped his arms around Diaphanous and carefully and gently massaged her back.

Surge cursed under his breath and looked around. "If anyone defects, you'll face something worse then death," he threatened.

"Commander, get snipers positioned...find them and kill them!"

Surge looked into a security camera, where the barricade was. There was a man who seemed to have lost it. The guard began to preach on how they will all die, how they won't last.

"Foolish soldier...can't even hold himself together..." Surge growled before he turned on his communicator. "Legion, report one of yourselves at the barricade.

"Rodger that," came the reply. Soon enough, the large figure of Legion stepped up behind the guard, picking him up effortlessly and snapping his neck.

Surge only smiled as the other guards realized the consequences of betraying Enertro.

When Diaphanous was so close to Enertro, it was hard for her to stay angry.

"Thank you my love." She looked at him and her eyes were normal again. "I am just so frustrated. We had such a blissful few months... I want to go back to that again, and just spend time with you." Diaphanous kissed his neck.

"What will we do about Prism and his... super-whatevers?" Diaphanous asked.

The nuclear explosions began to recede.

Sabbath heard Surge's response. His eyes turned black, similar to what happened with Dia's. He started muttering words. His voice grew louder and fiercer. Then, inside the barricade, black hands began growing out of the foor, walls, and ceiling. They grabbed soldiers, and pulled them down into the abyss. "Well now Surge, do you still wish to hold on to you petty defenses?"

"I do too, my love. I just want a normal vacation..."

"Kill his friends, perhaps even Prism," Enertro began, before worrying that Diaphanous would not like that. "What would you have us do, my love?"

"Why don't you come and find out!" roared Surge as he watched the screens, making sure the guards remained at their posts.

"Alright then." With these words, Sabbath blasted the doors away. The barricade was open. He stopped a hail of bullets in midairs, and made the soldiers' guns jam and malfuction. Then, Maiden lep into the room, still in his zombie form. Acillatem and Prism followed. "Long time no see clowns." Prism said.

"Ahh, the traitor has arrived," Surge calmly replied as energy coarsed through him, even surrounding him.

"Traitor!" Prism said with anger. "TRAITOR!" I get left behind, almost killed and mocked, and I'm a TRAITOR!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU DID SURGE! YOU AND ENERTRO! BECAUSE OF YOU TWO, I RISKED MY LIFE TO SERVE YOU, GOT NOTHING IN RETURN, AND HAD TO BECOME A BUM! WELL, GUESS WHAT, YOUR COMING WITH US. YOU AND LEGION. THE SOLDIERCAN STAY HERE."

"Oh? I was left behind as well, yet I got home by copter. I even offered you a ride...this is all foolish, teenage hate," Surge replied as he began to fire his machine gun at Prism.

Before Prism could react, Acillatem stepped in. He spun his whips around in front of him in a circular motion, moving so fast they whipped away all the bullets. As Surge was firing, a surprise came from behind him. Maiden smashed him away with a powerful blow. He then grabbed his gun, and crushed it.

Nightwing looked at Diaphanous and said, "Great, now I have someone who can't control her powers or emotions." Nightwing thought to himself, I need someone to teach her how to control herself. Starfire could do it, but Raven would be much better. Nightwing hadn't heard from Raven in months so he knew that Raven wasn't accessible right now. He looked at them and said, "What did you guys do to Prism to piss him off so much?"

"Nothing! And if you do not want me here, I told you I will go kill Prism myself... along with his group!" Diaphanous' eyes were glowing red, which was not a good sign.

"So save the rude comments and fuck off!" She yelled.

Surge was knocked away, but immediately shot deadly bolts of electricity at Acillatem.

Meanwhile, one of the Legions lifted Maiden and tossed him into a wall, while another Legion began to pelt him with bullets from a chaingun.

Acillatem was hit with the lightning. He matched it with his own blast of electricty from his threads. Prism also set the walls on fire, heating things up. Sabbath used his powers to locate the real Legion, and began shooting blasts of fire at him. Maiden was urprised, but let the bullets hit him. Then, he lept at one of the Legion clones, and bit down on it's head. He then decapitated it.

"Nothing! And if you do not want me here, I told you I will go kill Prism myself... along with his group!" Diaphanous' eyes were glowing red, which was not a good sign.

"So save the rude comments and fuck off!" She yelled.

Nightwing as calm as ever looked at Diaphanous and said, "I do want you here as long as you can control yourself. You need a friend of mines help. She has similar powers to you. Now calm down before you put all of us at risk."

"In the world?" Candace did not have to hesitate to answer. "Japan. I always wanted to go to Japan. How about you?" She asked Arthur.

"I am sorry!" Diaphanous was still yelling. "It is a trait from my destroyed planet. I never had training on how to control these powers when I am angry!" Diaphanous calmed down a little. "It is not my fault. It was only recently that I knew I had this kind of power. You are right, Nightwing; I cannot control it." Diaphanous looked down, ashamed.

"One day I could destroy the world accidentally." A tear fell down her face.

Candace stood there with her jaw gaping and her eyes wide. It took a while before she could speak.

"A-Arthur, how did you..." Her sentence trailed off.

"You are the former Quickspeed." She deduced. Candace then remembered the clip run on the TV over and over a few months ago: Quickspeed murdering an entire room of people."

Candace looked at Arthur with fear in her eyes. "That means that you... you murdered all those people!" She said wide eyed, her face full of fear, as she backed away from him.

Without realizing it, she backed off the edge of a rather vertical hill... nearly a cliff, and rolled all the way down. When her body stopped, she was unconscious.

ooc: Candace, not Diaphanous... you mixed up my chars. Candace has no powers. :D

Arthur shook his head, then sighed. He wished that clip was never shown. Looking toward the Mt. he wish he could go back in time. Running down in a moment he picked up Candace and kissed her forehead. Then he ran back toward Switzerland. Stopping in the point they started he set Candace down. He held her hand and started to talk with sorrow.

"Candace wake up!"

OOC: Wait how did Diaphanous notice this new "powers"?

ooc: That and the wind/tornados appeard in the last RP... Everyone on her planet has them, however, since her planet blew up and she was left on earth at age 15, she never had the training to control them. They appeared a lot in the last RP and she doesn't notice them and can't really control them.

Looking around he wondered what he should do now. He grasped Candace's hand. "Please wake up. Candace you are the only girl I have ever loved."

Candace began to become conscious. She was very sore and didn't remember falling.

She saw Arthur leaning over her. "Arthur, I know in my heart you are not the same man that killed those people. I can just tell. You are far too kind."

Candace smiled at him, bruises beginning to appear on her face. "I'm sorry I ruined the Japan trip, but you have to understand my shock."

Even if he did what he did, I think I'm in love with him. One day and to feel this way. I did not know it was possible. She knew Arthur was no longer Quickspeed.

"Oh, I'm sore!" she laughed. "Arthur, I am sorry. I know you are not Quickspeed. I just know, but there is something I would like to know.

"What made you change? You are the sweetest guy I ever met. I know you aren't the old Quickspeed. What happened?"

"It's fine. If things work out I will take you back to Japan. Plus no one even knows the real story. Those men were working for villians. I said to keep quiet, but they didn't. So I killed them, but was beaten into a blood sack when the villians attacked." Arthur said as he got held Candace's hand.

"I changed when I another person with super powers andtaught me to train my new powers. He taught me patience. Also my meeting with the Flash." Arthur told Candace. With his other hand he create a small beam of light.

"It's fine if you don't want to see me again. Just tell me and I will go, but I shall always love you." Arthur knew looked at the bruises. He ran and came back with some ice packs. "Here."

"Oh wow... you have really gone through a lot. I'm sorry to hear that." Candace said as she put the ice pack on her bruises.

Candace wanted to tell him how she felt, but she was so afraid. She decided she would anyway.

She began to blush. "Arthur, I know we just met... and this may sound weird to you, but I feel the same way." Candace took a deep breath. This was difficult for her.

She looked down. She was embarrassed and nervous. "You see Arthur... I-I-I... love you too." Candace was blushing like crazy. "I have never met anyone I felt this way about." She added.

"Of course I want to see you again... as much as possible.

"Thank you for all you have done for me tonight. There is just one problem. I can't go home all bruised like this. I am not forcing you to take me in. I can try to call a friend, but then her parents will call my parents about the bruises."

Candace looked up at Arthur hoping he might ask her to stay with him. She did not want her parents asking about the bruising. She also wanted to spend as much time with Arthur as possible. It was a shame he only came to Switzerland once a year.

OOC: Remember Canad that Arthur hasn't mastered light. He is still maturing the new power.

IC: "Diamonds on neck, di-diamonds on neck," a young boy sung as Omino walked into a hut. Omino shook his head and chuckled. "Master Tehen you will never change, huh?" The young boy smiled and his body composition began to shift. When the illusion was completely distorted it showed the young boy's true form. It was a 80-year-old smiling man. The old man looked at him and said, "You know there are many things you can do with light, fire and water Lew." The old master than looked at his former apprentice and said, "How have things been with you? It been about 12 years since the last time I saw you." Omino replied, "It has been good old master. It is not easy being the balance beam for all of the elements." The old master nodded. Omino than said, "I have taken an apprentice. His name is Arthur." The master smiled and said, "It is about time you took an apprentice. It is selfish not to share your abilities with the world," Tehen replied. Omino replied, "Yes master I know." Omino then looked out of the Pacific Ocean. Tehen asked, "What are you teaching him? Fire. . . air . . . lightning?" Omino shook his head and said, "No. Light." Tehen stood up and said, "Wow. That is going to take a long time. It even took you a long time to learn light completely." Omino nodded and said, "I know. Arthur can be a stubborn one at times, but he still is a good pupil." Tehen looked at him and said, "Well I hope he is as quick as you." Omino nodded and said, "He is." They both looked out over the ocean.

"Oh I will take you in after what I have done to you. Also I must tell you another one of my truths. My parents aren't here and they were never here. Also I can visit anytime you ask since because of my speed." Arthur said as he chuckled. Going over to Candace he picked her up and put her into the car. He also grabbed her car keys.

"You are in no condition to drive young lady." Arthur similed toward her then drove off.

Once getting to the hotel he parked the car and picked up Candace. He carried all the way to the room and set her on the bed.

"Candace you can sleep on the bed. I think I will sleep on the couch."

Arthur was starting to get hungry again. He looked threw a menu and back over toward Candace. "Do you want anything for dessert?"

"Oh, cheese cake would be wonderful! Thank you! And thank you for taking me in. I just have to call my parents and tell them I am staying at a friend's for a few days. I will call her and tell her to tell my parents that I am at her house for a few days and we are spending our time skiing." Candace told Arthur.

"Arthur, I am so glad we can see each other more often. I was slightly sad thinking I could only see you once a year. I am going to call Janice, and give her the info... just that I won't be coming home. I won't tell her about you of course." She smiled lovinging at Arthur.

She proceeded to call Janice, who agreed to Candice's ruse, no questions asked.

"Arthur, this is a beautiful room! I adore it." It was an amazing suite with a beautiful view.

"There is one issue Arthur. I cannot let you sleep on the couch. Not a chance. I will sleep on the couch, or," Candice blushed,"you can sleep in the bed with me. After all, it is king size. To be honest... this is embarrassing to say... I would love if you would sleep in the bed with me. You comfort me and I would love to cuddle with you tonight. Itwill make me feel better.

"If you are uncomfortable with that, I understand," Candice blushed again. "I mean, we both said we love each other. If you want nothing more to happen, I would just enjoy sleeping next to you Arthur."

Candace smiled at him, hoping he would at least sleep next to her. I hope he will kiss me. She mused, blushing at the thought.

"Ok cheesecake." Arthur picked up the phone and ordered two cheesecakes. "Oh this rooms pretty nice. The best one they had in this whole hotel. "

When Candace started to talk about sleeping the same bed Arthur started to blush. "If you really want to. I guess I will, but no funny business."

Then a knock on the door rang out. Arthur went over and opened the door. He took the chessescakes and gave one to Candace. Taking his he sat on the bed. Before eating he took off most of his ski cloths and was only wearing aundershirt and some pants. Taking off the undershirt and pants Arthur was only wearing boxers. Then he quickly changed into a t-shirt and some sleeping pants. Coming back over he held his plate waiting for Candace. "Go ahead taste it."

Candice could not ignore the fact that Arthur had a nice muscular body.

"I will taste it, however, there is the issue that I have no other clothes. Do you have a large t-shirt or something I can wear?" She asked him.

"She took a bite of the cheese cake. Oh Arthur this is heavenly! Thank you!

"By the way, when you say 'no funny business, does that mean I can't tell you bad jokes." Candice grinned at Arthur and chuckled.
