A Lich's quest to create a Soul (Fantasy Midevil Tech, Open) - Page 2
"The fates? What are those?" Yurin asked, genuinely puzzled...
"The Fates are some of the major manipulators of souler aether." Lorathin replied, "Among other things."
"The fates do not exist..." said Ar'mai in a clam and quiet tone.
"Try telling them that." Lorathin commented, "Now predestination, or fate, that doesn't, but the Fates themselves, oh they plenty exist."

Mavis saids, "If they exist lets look for them and ask them how to create a soul."
"Where are the nearest desolate mountain ranges?" Lorathin asked

Mavis points northward, and saids, "There is a mountain range up that way but it is in between the border of the Empire and the unkown territory."
"Then that would be the quickest way to find the Fates." Lorathin replied, "They can, if someone's persistant enought and has proper transportation," Here he glances at the elves flying horse, "You can find them in any desolate range in the world. Also I am glad as heck that Bael'ther's here." He added
"Well I am too," Ar'mai replied as Bael'ther continued to show no emotion, "Any particular reason?"
"So the wacked out Fates don't kill me, or at least try to, again." Lorathing commented with a shudder.
"Ah," said Ar'mai as though she thought the explanation would have been more complicated or elaborate, "Well I agree with that one."
"Those overly horny hags almost killed me last time I encountered them." He commented off handedly.
"And why was that..." Ar'mai said, "Were you lieing to them."

Mavis starts to think of spells and rituals that may protect him against hags that can influence peoples destinys. He heads towards the mountain range intent on getting there... Mavis considers trying to use a teleport spell but decides agaisnt this due to dangers of not knowing the terrian.
"Overly horny." He reiterated, "Three of them." He added, "Ugly as sin, with one eye, and one tooth between the three of them."

"We still have to get there first." Lorathin replied

Mavis saids, "I would teleport us there but since. I have never been there before and do not know the terrian. I do not want to risk teleporting us into a mountain or tree or Death Gods know what else."
"So I guess we have to walk, unless we can hoof it on your horse?" Lorathin asked of the elves.
"I don't think so," Ar'mai said, "He has a hard enough time getting me and this oaf on it," she said jokingly about Bae'ther. "I doubt he could carry all five of us..."
"Then we're stuck walking, unless he'd leapfrog us." Lorathin said
"I don't think so," Ar'mai replied, "He has had a long day flying the both of us ten hours straight to get here. I think its best to let him rest... besides, the mountains are that far off," she said as the range was in sight.

"By all means, cast away." Lorathin said

Mavis reads the Spell and saids, "I need the hair from a horse's mane in order to use as focus for this spell."
Ar'mai nodded to Bael'ther as he put his giant hand on the horse's mane. With the gentlest of touches he stroke the horse's hair and a few strands came loose. He then raised his hand and gave them to Mavis.

Mavis starts to chant the ancient incanation and the hair starts to dissapear into the rushing Negative energy. The energy starts to transform into the shadowy form of a horse. The Horse looked liked it was made of the shadows that spawned it. The creatures eyes were blood red thanks to the Negative energy that created the creature.
The Horse looks at Mavis and just stays still as if waiting for a command...
"Oh, a nightmare, impressive." Lorathin commented as he saw the horse.
"Very clever," Ar'mai remarked. "But I would keep that horse away from me," she said as her holy shield glowed around her.

The nightmare moves away from the holy shield. The holy magic would greatly harm this creature. Mavis saids, "Ok, I have to ride it in order to control it. This creature can take one more. I suggest Morti and our new friend decides amongst themselves who wants to ride."
"I should be able to keep up alone." Lorathin replied, "He can have it."
Ar'mai nodded to Bael'ther who in turn mounted his massive body onto the winged horse. Ar'mai whispered something quickly and Gael'kadar took off into the air, leaving the others to follow.

The nightmare took off with its mounted riders. Mavis commanded the creature mentially. The Nightmare looked like it was floating across the land...
Lorathin quickly spoke a spell. As he finished, phantasmal angelic wings sprouted from his shoulders. Springing into the air, the wings began flapping, bringing him along with the others.
Ar'mai was having a great time as she had her horse diving and swooping across the sky. She cheered as the horse made the final descent into the mountains. When it landed on a ledge, Bael'ther hopped off and stood next to Ar'mai who remained on the horse.

"Well..." said Ar'mai. "What are you waiting for? You seem to be the only one of us to know about these 'fates'... so lead on..." she said to Lorathin.
Wings... interesting.
Lorathin gestured and the wings disappeared like puffs of smoke. "Now, where would they be." He asked himself.
Reaching over to Ar'mai, and with a 'Excuse me' he plucked a hair off her head. Holding it, he began speaking in an estoric language. As he finished, the hair bent double, and pointed due north. "Well, we're off to the south."
Bael'ther turned angrily to Lorathin and raised his swords to the man's throat.
"Bael'ther... stop that," said Ar'mai. "Not everyone is as polite as you were raised," she said though she was directing it more at Lorathin than Bael'ther.
Bael'ther turned his gaze to Ar'mai and lowered his blades in obediency.

The winged horse, Gael'kabar, followed a short distance behind. It glided across mountain range with its majestic wings cutting through the air.

He looked at the hair, and this time it pointed north-east. "North-east, one click." He called back as he leapt off the cliff and headed in the direction indicated.
Gael'kadar pulled out of its circling and followed behind.

OOC: Last post for tonight. Just say the nightmare is following to every location.
IC: Mavis was getting tired and he noticed the sun starting to shine. Mavis knew that he could surrive the sunlight but he was not sure about his friend and the Nightmare would be destroyed by the rays of the sun..
Mavis saids, "Hey guys sunlight coming our way."
"Then we should call it a day, unless you have another method of transport. Nightmares are nightcreatures onl." Lorathin said as they arrived at the second point.
The winged horse carrying the two elves continued to circle from above until Ar'mai spotted a cave. Whistling to the others, Gael'kadar descended and landed at the cave's entrance. "This should be suffice for the time being," she said to Bael'ther who had dismounted and entered the cave to make sure it was safe.

The Nightmare hides deep in the cave doing its best to avoid the light. Mavis follows it inside. He may not be harmed by sunlight but like his Undead brethen he prefers to avoid it if he can...
After finishing searching the cave, Bael'ther walked out to where Ar'mai sat on the horse and nodded to her. She lept off and removed an ever-expanding blanket (folds down to the size of a wallet) to sleep on for the night. She scampered into the cave and laid down on the blanket, while Bael'ther sat down outside the cave by the entrance with Gael'kadar, the winged horse.
Lorathin walked over and sat down beside Ar'mai.
As Ar'mai lay on her blanket she noticed Lorathin walk over, "So... you ready to tell the truth about yourself yet?"
"Would you be willing to submit to a gaes?" He asked in response.
"My first instinct is no..." Ar'mai said from her lying position, "Though it depends what you are going to tell me."
"The truth." Lorathin replied
"Well... what would the restrictions of the geas be?" said Ar'mai softly.
"That you speak not a word to anyone about it, that you seek not to remove it, thought there are only a few who could incidentally, or attempt to circumvent it and a few other minor incidentals, thought those are the major points." Lorathin replied
"I must be permitted to tell Bael'ther," Ar'mai said, "And my horse."
"And why are they a requirement?" He asked
"Because... I said so," Ar'mai said in a calm voice as she stretched out on her blanket.
"And that is not a valid reason, I guess you'll have to take me on faith then." He replied
"Fine," Ar'mai said as she waited for the explanation.
"So you'll submit to the geas as per the terms I gave?" He asked
"No, I will take you on faith," she said cooly.
"Fair enought." Lorathin replied with a shrug.
"Anyway..." Ar'mai said, "If you aren't going to tell me... I am going to sleep."
"Then have a good sleep." Lorathin replied
"I will," Ar'mai said as she laid on the blanket and drifted off.
Lorathin just laid back and fell asleep. Thought as he was a light sleeper, he was vaguely aware of what was happening around him.
Ar'mai woke as the sun went down and night set in. She stood and stretched her body before bending over and folding up her blanket. After folding it into a small square, she walked outside of the cave to where Gael'kadar was sleeping and tucked it into a pouch.
Bael'ther was already up and was standing guard outside the cave.
ooc: Waiting for Deatharon...
"Did anyone think to stake down the Nightmare?" Lorathin asked as he woke up.
Ar'mai giggled, "Well it crossed my mind, but I thought it best not to kill the creature while staking it down..."
"I meant was it allowed free range or did someone keep it under control?" Lorathin asked
"I know what you meant..." Ar'mai said, "Though if I had tried to stop it from roming it would probably have been damaged, at the very least, by my holy aura. You would have to ask the lich..."

"Yep." Lorathin said, taking the strand of elf hair he'd 'liberated' earlier he spoke the spell, "South, half a click." Was his verdict. The wings reformed and he took off in the indicated direction.
Ar'mai and Bael'ther lept onto their winged horse and rose rapidly into the night sky. "So... how much further?" inquired Ar'mai to Lorathin as they flew next to him momentarily.
"I told you, half a click, minus how ever far we've already flown." Lorathin replied
"Well is that the final destination? Or are we going to have to continue flying after that..." Ar'mai said.
"We'll have to fly farther." He replied

Mavis saids, "I could summon the Shadows to help us look, but they demand a high payment like a soul for there services."
"Since I don't think either elf wishes to give up their soul, that idea isn't really practical." Lorathin replied as he knew only a very precious few could remove his soul, even with his permission. Those being a few of the absolutely highest in the Lurker order or a full-fledged diety or lastly the enemies of Trigis, the Talion.

I am however haveing a problem using a defenseless soul to summon a group of Shadows to lead us to the Fates Cave."

"Good idea," Ar'mai said as she lept onto the winged horse. "Bael'ther you stay down here and look for the cave, I will search from the air."
She then whispered into Gael'kadar's ear and he took off into the sky...

Mavis gives a command and the Nightmare begins to search the area. The Nightmare is ordered to find and explore any caves found...
Ar'mai continued to search from the skys as Bael'ther walked along the pathways.
(ooc: bump)
Mavis continues looking. He has a hard time finding anything but the Nightmare finds a cave and the two of them go in to explore it.
Mavis expects trouble and prepares to cast his spells.
OOC: Sorry playing as my puppet and it is a pain to switch back to Deatharon..
The cave was simply a barren cave, with the musty oder of mountain goats.
Mavis smiles and calls out, "There is no one here. I have found the wrong cave." The Nightmare and Mavis try to turn around and head out.
As Lorathin met up with Mavis and his nightmare, a cave entrance seemed to appear where none had been. "Want to wait for the elves?" He asked as he sent off a spell to find and guide the elves to them.
Mavis smiles and saids, "Patience may be the virtue of many an older lich but, I am still several centuries to young for that. Lets go in."
"I'd prefere to wait for the elves, if you don't mind." Lorathin said, "As I don't think the Fates have picked up necrophilia since I last saw them."
As the magical spell reached Ar'mai on Gael'kadar, she sped off to find Bael'ther and direct him to the cave. Finding him but a short way away on top of a high peek, they traveled together on Gael'kadar down to the cave.
They landed at the cave's entrance and noticed the the other two standing there waiting. "Sorry for the wait, I had to track down Bael'ther. Come Bael'ther," Ar'mai said as Bael'ther hopped off the horse and followed behind with sword in hand.
As they entered the cave and travelled down the twisty corridor, they occasionally heard odd cackling, and there was an disturbing green glow emenating from some of the rocks.
As they entered the cavern, they saw three females that could only be described as wizen hags. All but one had toothless gums, and the one with a tooth had but a single one inset in her shrivelled gums. A second of the Fates had a single eye in her socket, the other two had no eyes at all.
The Lich Mavis was use to horriable sights like this and just had a look of pure bordom on his face. (Note he still looks alive.) Mavis however prepared a defensive spell should these mistress of fate decide to try something dangerous...
As the three Fates sensed people in their cave, they began hobbling over, and in hand to look at the people. Half way throught they divulged into a quick, but vicious argument, and the one with the eye passed it to the sightless and toothless one, while the tooth was passed to the one who had lost sight. They continued to hobble over.
As they looked over the company, the one with the eye spoke dismissively of first the lich, then the female elf. Lorathin had interposed Bael'ther between him and the three. As she with the eye gazed upon the elf, they hobbled over, and began feeling him, arms, legs, chest.
"Such a strong, manly, virile," At this they proceeded to grope him in a rather intimate location, "And handsome elf."
The Lich Mavis saids, "Excuse me, ladies but we are on a quest to find a way to create a soul do you know of how this feat may be acheived?"
Mavis expects all hell to possiably break loose...
"Oh pooh." The Fate with the tooth said in a spitting way, "You arn't all muscley and hot like the elf is." She said as she fondled his hindquarters.
Mavis saids, "Who needs looks when all a person needs is power, besides what does it matter what I look like in a century my body will mummify and I will look like a better preseved zombie."
At this Lorathin leaned over and whispered, "They're nymphos, not interested in power, they have enought of their own, they're only interested in getting it on."
The Lich Mavis saids, "In the name of the Death Gods, Why did we go to a place full of morons and idiots!!"
"Trust me, it should work out." Lorathin said
Mavis saids, "Maybe we should bid our elven friend over there for the information. What do you think. The secret for one night of fun?"
"There's a quicker way that won't require that, I just have to wait for the right opportunity." Lorathin replied
Mavis saids, What do you plan to steal the eye or the teeth?"
"Patients." Was Lorathin's only reply.
Mavis smiles and saids, "I have plenty of patience. I have centuries to wait if need be."
"That's true." Lorathin said as one of the Fates began working on undoing Bael'ther's belt.
Mavis noticing the Fate's rather quick attempt of trying to removing Bael'ther's belt saids, "Should we do somthing before they try to scare him into the Afterlife with there horrid presence."
"Not really." Lorathin replied, "He should be strong enought to handle them, I have."
Mavis laughs and heads towards the entrance of the Cave. He wanted the Nightmare ready to leave as soon as possiable...
Bael'ther stood motionless as the witches attempted to remove his armor. Ar'mai giggled slightly, "I think Bael'ther is growing restless at their futile attempts." She was right, Bael'ther had moved his right hand to the hilt of one of his blades as the witches failed to remove his armor. Ar'mai whispered to Morti, "Its a long story... but his armor has been sealed onto him with powerful magic..."
As one of the Fates was about to sneak her hand down the elf's shorts, the three broke out in argument again.
As they passed the eye and tooth around again, Lorathin snaked his hands out and snagged the two grusome objects. As they began yelling at each other, accusing them of hoarding the eye and/or tooth.
"Hey Fates, looking for something?" Lorathin asked
"Give those back." The Fates protested
"Do you agree to try and help my friend?"
"What do you want?" They asked in a resigned tone.
The Lich Mavis saids, "I seek the knowledge to creating a soul for myself."
"To create a soul you need to talk with the gods, if you just want to get a fresh soul, that's a different story." The Fates said in a wierd tri-part harmony, punctuated by the spitting of those speaking without teeth.

The Lich smiles and saids, "The only Gods, I know are the Death Gods. I think getting a fresh one would be easier. I do not want to earn there wraith."
"Well this was a waste of time," Ar'mai said. "You said the fates could forge him a new soul..."
"New soul and a fresh soul are the same thing for all intents and purposes." Lorathin replied as he handed the eye and tooth back to the Fates.
As one put the eye in, and glanced at Lorathin she commented, "It's not often we get a," Here he quickly cast a very short silence spell on the Fates, "looking for souls. Usually it's the Talions that come visit us about souls."
The Fates lead them to a chamber with a massive glassly wall in which hundreds lights swirled off all different hues and colours, including three that were blindingly white.
Ar'mai had noticed Lorathin's little spell but decided not to confront him about it presently.
When they reached the room, Ar'mai looked up and marveled at the colors, "What is this place?"
"That's the soul chamber." One of the Fates replied.
"Soul chamber, eh?" Ar'mai said questioningly. "Well... what about creating the man here a new soul... can it be done by other means than the Gods?"
"There are perhaps five non-gods who could do it, but other than them it's the sole domain of the gods." A Fate rasped
OOC: Sorry, I am another puppet of Deatharon
IC: Mavis noticed the spell and did not mention anything for obviously this man had secrets he wished to stay hidden.
Mavis does however say, "Can you create a soul Fates?"
"No, none of use have that gift." The Fates replied
Mavis saids, "Which Mortals have the Great ability to create a soul?"
"Indeed, please enlighten us... or our journey here has been for nothing," Ar'mai said.
"Aernal Bannirae, Drakothil, Lecar O'll, Dethoal and Jui are the only ones who have any credible evidence of soul crafting." The Fate with the eye said.
The Lich Mavis smiles and saids, "Could you provide us a map or something to find them?"
"I do not know these people though a couple of their names sound slightly familiar..." Ar'mai commented. "Where do we find them..."
"So you want a new soul over a fresh soul?" The Fate asked, "And you're companion should be able to guide you to them."
Lorathin went quite pale at the mention of the names.
Ar'mai turned to the fates, "Fates... please tell me what you know about our friend here."
With a flick of her hand she cast a silence spell on Morti.
"And what's your payment?" A Fate asked
"I will leave your mountain peacefully..." Ar'mai said with a grin.
Bael'ther had moved his hands to his swords.
Lorathin gestured, while the Fates went from simply hiddious to taking on an additional sinister aspect, "Do you want to exit the mountain alive?" One cackled
"Do you..." Ar'mai shot back.
"We're not the one's who entered our lair willingly." The Fates cackled
Lorathin was now seriously trying to get the elf's attention.
"Are you telling me you didn't enter your own lair willingly?" Ar'mai responded turning the fates words on themselves.
Though she noticed Morti trying to get her attention, she continued to brush him off.
"Beside the fact you couldn't kill us, look around." A Fate cackled
If anyone looked around, they'd see a sealed chamber.
"Your point is.... what?" Ar'mai asked.
"You'll rot in here till the day you die if we choose to make it so." Was the reply.
"The gods would not have it so..." Ar'mai replied.
"Not even the gods have power in the place." The toothed Fate sneered
"There is no place where the gods lack power..." Ar'mai replied.
Lorathin mouthed/muttered, Idiot, of course there are. while the Fate echo'ed that sentiment in a much nastier tone.
"Is that what you believe?" Ar'mai questioned. "Apparently you lack some knowledge..."
Lorathin gave a 'that's torn it' gesture while the Fates replied, "It is you dearie that is mis-informed."
"If you believe so... you are free to think that," Ar'mai replied.
They had come to an impass, as niether the Fates nor the elf would be budged
Mavis starts to cast a dispell spell upon Morti. Mavis wanted to know what was going on and Morti seemed to be the only one that could explain...
As he felt the spell disappear, he faced Mavis and asked "I take it you have a question?"
Meanwhile the four females were glaring at each other, the Fates on one side, the Ar'mai on the other.
Mavis saids, "Yes, I do what do they mean were trapped. I may be able to surrive for centuries but I have no intention of being stuck with the Fates for all of them."
"They have abilities that could, if they choose, keep up all trapped here. Of course if Ar'mai swallowed her pride, the whole situation could be resolved. So are you going to go after a new soul or take a fresh one?" He asked
Mavis smiles and saids, "I want a new soul. I however was wondering could I just teleport us outside of the Cave surley they do not have an anti-magic field around the cave."
"Not as such, but a teleportation spell would simply re-affix it's location to here again." He replied
Mavis saids, "I could open a Gate to another plane of existence and try to bring us back from there. That is however very powerful and dangerous magic and do it could have serious consequences if I mess it up."
"Or I could simply ask the Gods to destroy this place..." Ar'mai suggested.
"The easiest way would be to just apologise Ar'mai." Lorathin replied
"I see no reason to apologize to the likes of them," Ar'mai said in almost spitting manner. "They hold no dominion over me or my kind..."
"You did insult and attack them first." He replied
"I do not believe that is true... I merely promised that I would not be a disruption if they gave me some information," Ar'mai said. "Some information that seems dear to you..."
"You threatened to kill them if they didn't provide you what you wanted, I'd call that insulting and attacking." Lorathin replied, "And we're all permitted secrets, arn't we?"
"Nay, I did not threaten them at all... not first at least," Ar'mai replied. "You seem to have forgottent he events so quickly... I will refresh your memory. I asked for some information and they wanted a payment. I said that I wouldn't cause any trouble and they threatened me with death. I believe the exact line was "Do you want to exit the mountain alive?" You see there... they threatened me with death first."
"Your statement, plus Bael'ther's actions, were an implied threat." Lorathin replied
"Then they took my words the wrong way... I can not help what they think. I merely was assuring them that if they gave me the information I would be able to leave pleasantly and Bael'ther... well Bael'ther is a warrior born and raised - his actions will most likely always be taken as hostile," Ar'mai explained.
"Then apologise for his actions and the misconceptions and there you go." He replied
"I should apologize for the misconceptions they had..." Ar'mai spat, "Sounds quite illogical to me..."
"And I am certainly not going to apologize for Bael'ther who was simply acting in my defense... he is a killer - it is all he has known - certainly you can not fault him for that," Ar'mai explained. "Besides... if you want an apology for his actions... get him to say it," Ar'mai said with a grin.
"Irregardless, what's logical and what's right is quite different." He replied
"Not in this case it isn't... it is illogical for me to apologize for something I didn't do. In fact I believe that they should apologize to me for threatening my life... though I was not rude enough to demand one of them," Ar'mai said as her frustration grew. "You have heard my case and you are not getting an apology out of me... so stop your trying," she said as her voice showed a hint of irritation and growing anger.
"Ever heard of swallowing your pride of the greater good?" Lorathin asked, "As we aren't getting out of here until you do."
"Ever heard of butting out of a conversation for the greater good of your own health?" Ar'ami shot back. "Besides Ar'mai Corvianna bows to no man or beast."
"Then feel free to apologise to them as they are neither man nor beast." He replied
"And now you are being quite annoying," Ar'mai said as the final straw was on the verge of breaking. "Besides... this is all your fault to begin with - if you are so steadfast on an apology... you do it."
"Care to explain that one as I fail to see your logic." He replied
"Well seeing that you refused to give me the information yourself and this dispute and debacle is a direct result of me not having that information that you could have provided me with at any time including now..." Ar'mai speech was speeding up so she had to pause in order to get a grip on it. "Well... I think you see the connection?"
"Have I bothered you about your private life?" He asked, "No, I haven't and you should extend the same courtesy to me. Have you pestered Mavis for his lifestory, I do believe the answer is likewise no, so what makes me so facinating?"
"Well if you asked me about my past I would tell you and as for Mavis, he willingly told about himself," Ar'mai began to explain. "You on the other hand, refuse to tell about yourself or the past. You said I would have to swear to a magical pact if I wanted to know about it - thats rather suspicious."
"Lets just say... its clear you are not being truthful about who you are."
"Maybe I have dirty laundry that I'd prefere not to air, or relations I'd prefere not involving or mentioning. I do have my reasons for my secrets." He replied
"I am sure you do," Ar'mai replied. "Though I prefer the burden of knowing the truth about my company and being able to trust them, over not knowing and continually questioning them."
"I haven't directly caused you any harm, have I? Why not go from there and leave it be?" He asked
"Its all about the trust factor... how can I be sure that you aren't a mage in dealing in the black magic, the dar magic. For that matter, if I can't trust you... how do I know any word that is uttered out of your mouth is true?" Ar'mai said.
"Have I lied so far?" He asked, "I said I'd lead you to the Fates, and I have."
"Just because you didn't lie on the first oppurtunity you had doesn't mean you won't..." Ar'mai said. "I just don't trust you..."
"You could always go your way of course, or just decided to keep an eye on me and leave it at that." Lorathin replied
"I think I will stay... for now," Ar'mai said. "I just won't trust you nor will I help you."
"How about helping all of us then and apologising." He replied
"I swear to God say apology or any variation of the word one more time... I dare you," Ar'mai as her anger finally peaked to the point in which it boiled over.
Static electricity was jolting all over the chamber as it emenated from her body. Bael'ther stood ready though with swords still in their sheathes.
"Then we shall remain." He replied as he sat down to wait for her.
"Fine with me... I have all eternity to wait - how long do you have?" Ar'mai said as she sat on the floor cross legged though there was still electricity emanating from her.
"You're really prepared to wait till the furthest star burns cold?" He asked, "Just for spite?"
"Its not out of spite... it is out of principal and logic," Ar'mai said. "And yes, I can wait forever... how long can you wait?"
Bael'ther had relaxed his hands but the expression on his face showed it all. She really was going to wait until her immortal life ran out - which was never - and Bael'ther knew it.
"Frankly as long as I want." He replied, "But since it's a waste of time, why so stubborn?"
"And what of your life span?" Ar'mai asked, "Can it wait for ever?"
"Like I said, as long as necessary." Lorathin replied, "But you didn't answer my question, so why the stubborness?"
"I have answered that question many times and I refuse to do so again if you won't take the information into your thick skull," Ar'mai said.
"You'll waste your life out of stubborness?" He asked

i would like to. Rp is fun.
As she sat there, "So, what's it going to take for you to stop being stubborn? Keep in mind somethings are off limits." He asked
ooc: Pretty sure you'll be allowed in once Deatheron logs in.
"You'll waste your life out of stubborness?" He asked
"I am not wasting my life out of stubornness..." Ar'mai replied. "I am not being stubborn, just steadfast in my beliefs. And I am not wasting my life away... I am immortal... maybe you have forgotten I am an elf."
"If you want this to end you can do a few things: give up your attempts to make me apologize, apologize yourself, and tell me about your true past."
"I apologise for trying to get you to apologise, thought that doesn't solve your tiff with the Fates, and like I said, somethings are off limits, my past is one of those." Lorathin replied
"Well I guess we will see how long it is until you die of old age, no?" Ar'mai said.
"Either way I can't tell you my past, it would result in death for me, you, your companion and Mavis, permanent death." Lorathin commented, "And why does me having secrets drive you up the wall so much?"

"Well you could at least tell us why it would kill all of us," Ar'mai replied. "And it doesn't drive me up the wall... it just doesn't allow me to trust you."
"Because the reasons I have to keep it secret would kill you to keep it secret." He replied
"Uh huh..." Ar'mai in disbelief. With every word the man spoke, she lost more and more of the little trust she had in him. "Right then..."
"What would you prefere I said?" He asked, "As I can tell you still don't trust me."
"I would prefer if you told the truth... at the very least admit that you aren't" Ar'mai replied.
"I am telling the truth, at least as much as can be told." He replied
"What is your name?" Ar'mai asked
"I have multiple names, are you asking for the one I was born with, will get when I marry, carry now or someother?" He asked
"How about all of them," Ar'mai grinned.
"Well, I was born Miguel Randimar Uioea, when marry will add the suffix Oru to whatever name is chosen as primary, and the prefix Agr to the secondary, and as you know I carry presently Morti." Lorathin replied, "As to the others, those would be Iroth, Lorathin, Wezqx and Kellerd. Satisfied?"
"Yes," Ar'mai said simply without saying another word.
"So, how about getting us moving along?" He asked of Ar'mai.
"I would love to... if only the fates would admit they misunderstood and apologize for threatening my life," Ar'mai replied.
