Outside as it continued to rain hard, Daniel stood out there drenched to the bone. He jumped from the tree and walked across the surface of the lake. Once in the centre, he was struck by lightning. Not once but countless times, he seemed to be taking in the energy from the lightning storm. A boom went over the lake and took out the academies power, plunging it into darkness.

"Shit," Kurt swore. "Can't be, she's come straight here already?"

"What the hell?" Ryujin growled as he awoke to a strong sensation in a cave he found to sleep through the weather. "Damn. Can't ever get enough sleep...my scales will be soaked...I'll burn the fool who disturbs my slumber..."

Grumbling, he walked out into the driving rain and spread his wings, used a simple spell to keep the rain off his face and then lifted off into the air. He noticed that lightning seemed to strike the same place several times and banked towards the lake area...

On the way to the training rooms, the lights went out. "Huh? Jeez..."

With a simple snap of his fingers, Taylor created a flame with his hand and manipulated the flame with his mind. "You ok, Lucca?"

Down in the centre of the lake a strange smoke seemed to rise. Dead in the centre, there appeared to be something floating in the water, almost like a log. The smoke seemed to be emitted from the floating object.

Kurt headed up and found Master Blexe and Master Raven near the training rooms. "It would seem that she is here," he told them.

"Indeed it does," Master Blexe agreed. "But alas I do not sense her."

Jacen found his cousin moving the flame around. Taylor asked. "You ok?"

"Yeah. What's up?"

"Power's out."

"Think she's here?"

"Bet on it."

Ryujin noticed the weird fog and the log in the middle of the lake and circled around to get a closer look...

Lucca nodded, igniting her Lightsaber and holding it up, using it as a light source. "I'm fine. Thank you. Is it... Is it time? Is 'She' here already?" Her light blue Lightsaber did give off enough light to illuminate the immiedaite area around her.

"Yeah." Taylor sighed. "Looks like it's time."

Upon closer examination, it was apparent that the log was in fact a person. Daniel was lying in the water face up, his eyes closed and his skin pale. Only his clothes looked to have been struck by lightning.

Lucca exhaled sharply, nodding her head. "Okay, I'm ready. Looks like our spar is going to be on hold, huh?" She made a light joke to try and lighten the mood...

"Tsk Tsk." Ryujin shook his head. "You shouldn't have gone swimming in this weather, kid."

Ryujin moved to pick up the boy and take him back to the academy.

"Yeah." Taylor smiled at her little joke to reassure her.

The boy never moved as Ryujin picked him up, he seemed very dead to the world.

Kurt noticed Taylor and Lucca in the darkness. "Looks like it's our time," he said. "Watch out for her clones."

Master Raven stayed back as Kurt and Master Blexe headed for the front door.

"Don't worry about a thing." Jacen smirked a little.

Ryujin flew the corpse back to the academy.

Kurt lit up his lightsaber as he saw something coming towards the academy in the darkness. He could make the faint outline of a dragon.

"Ryujin?" he called out.

Nodding and passing a smile towards Taylor, Lucca moved with Kurt and Blexe to the main entrance, her lightsaber out and ready. She measured her breath in steady and even paces, trying her best to calm her jittery nerves.

Master Blexe placed a reassuring hand on Lucca's shoulder having sensed her nervousness. "Everything shall be fine."

Kurt lit up his lightsaber as he saw something coming towards the academy in the darkness. He could make the faint outline of a dragon.

"Ryujin?" he called out.
"Here!" Ryujin landed in front of the academy and deposited the corpse lightly on the ground. "Found Daniel. Dead, from the looks of it."

Lucca exhaled, relaxing a bit when Master Belxe touched her shoulder. She favoured him with a smile. "Thank you." She nodded, then exstingished her lightsaber when Ryujin deposited Daniel's body on the ground. "He's... Not dead, is he?" She worried her lower lip, a concerned expression on her face.

"Shit," Kurt swore as he knelt down beside him.

"Would seem by the state of his clothes that he was struck by lightning," Master Blexe stated. "But his skin seems strangely untouched."

The clouds overhead flashed blue for a few moments, almost like a force field.

Taylor and Jacen headed to the front as well. "What's up? Oh." Taylor said as he looked at Daniel's body.

Jacen looked up at the sky. "Hey. Something weird is going on."

Hearing Jacen, Lucca too turned her eyes to the skies. "I've got a bad feeling about this..."

Kurt looked up. "Strange lightning," he mentioned.

Daniel began coughing, blood appeared in the corner of his mouth. He was very much alive.

"You all right, Daniel?" Taylor asked.

Daniel coughed up blood. "Did the sky flash blue?" he asked in a weak voice.

"Yeah. It did." Taylor nodded. "Know anything about that?"

Daniel managed a weak laugh, he raised his hand and wiped his mouth. "Natures forcefield," he said. "It worked."

"What...What are you talking about?" Jacen demanded.

"Forcefield," Daniel repeated. "If that Miss Nocturne comes in the next few hours she isn't getting through, nature won't let her."

Kurt was confused, there was more to this kid then he first thought. He was right to think that there was something strange about him.

"Sorry if I knocked out the power."

Taylor smirked. "Well, you're an interesting kid..."

Lucca slipped an arm under Daniel, helping him stand to his feet, and letting him use her as support if he couldn't manage to stand on his own. "So then... The Lady isn't here yet... That's good."

"Lucca..." Kurt began.

"We must take him to the medical wing as soon as possible," Master Blexe told them. He too helped Daniel up and looked at Lucca. "Help me take him there."

"Interesting technique" said Lialai as she walked back into the school. By her being out by the lake she had witnessed everything that the new boy, Daniel had done. She saw how he allowed the lightning to course through his body and then by using the Force he created a shield over the academy. "This boy is very powerful. She quickly sent a message to Raist We'll have to have our duel later. The power is out in the academy and I need to help them get it back on. She quickly teleported back up to the academy.

Den opened his eyes from deep meditation to find that the lights were out. Wondering what had happened, he wandered to the front of the academy. As he arrived at the front he saw Master Blexe carrying a student off that he did not recognized. He quickly walked up next to Master Raven and asked him what happened.

Dirta had no idea that the power had went out. Matter of fact she was not even in the school. She was under the school speaking with the local dwarves. They were the closest thing she had to a geokinetic besides Raist so she was fond of them. She found them interesting and she could stand their presence because they all had good hygiene. She was talking to them about the beauty of a diamond when it is merged with ruby when she got a message from Den. Looking at her friends she said "I'll talk to you guys later."
She quickly tunneled back up to her room and then she ran to the front hall.

Having explained what had happened, Master Blexe helped Daniel into the medical wing where he was taken to an awaiting bed. He was of course given the privacy to change out of his clothes and into a nightshirt.

"We will need to run a few tests on him," a young looking women told them. "And you Daniel, I would suggest not trying anything like that again, it could kill you next time."

Daniel lay back in the bed. "Not bloody likey," he replied.

((OOC: By the gods, I have stuff to do, and you go miles ahead.))

Taan was still in the training room Alimar and Odcal had left him in, as he was having trouble with the unusual design of lightsabre his Master had given him. Sometimes he could create a long blade, but which had very little coherance or strength, basically a glorified torch, and other times it was a short blade of high coherance and great strength, like Alimar's first attempt.

Although he was determined to master the unusual design, he found himself wishing for a conventional lightsabre, at least for the moment.

He tried again, relaxing his mind and letting the Force flow through his hand into the lightsabre hilt. The dark blue, almost purplish, blade appeared with a standard snap-hiss noise. It extended for about half a metre, appearing to have a fairly high blade coherency as well.

It was then that the lights went out, and the blade disappeared as Taan looked up in surprise. He found that he couldn't see his hand in front of his face, more than an expression in his case, as he waved his hand six inches in front of his eyes.

It took him nearly a minute to realise that his weapon could double as a light source, during which he just stood exactly where he was. He focused his thoughts on the lightsabre, and ignited it. He produced a very short blade that put out as much light as possible, so he could use it as a makeshift torch.

He carefully made his way out of the training room, using the weapon to see. He first made his way to the canteen, thinking that it was a largish room and would be a sensible place to put everyone while the lights were out. After finding nobody there, he headed for the main entrance to the academy, since it should still be light outside.

"Very odd," Kurt muttered to himself, putting his lightsaber away.

Having helped Daniel to the medbay, Lucca returns to the front, to where Kurt is. She curties to him. "King Kurt, you wished to speak with me?" She asked, recalling he had said her name before she helped Daniel to the medbay...

Kurt nodded. "As I was going to say, it would be foolish to believe that Lady Nocturne is not coming," he warned her. "We must keep up our guard at all times."

Odcal observed the proceedings with great interest. "But at least, according to Daniel, Lady Nocturne won't be able to come in the next few hours." Odcal added. He then frowned. "I wonder though, what he meant by Nature's forcefield."

"I have no idea," Kurt said, shaking his head. "He can't have manipulated nature could he?"

Jr thought for a moment having stood quietly behind them. "Ryujin, you brought him here didn't you?" he asked, he had been inside when the boy was brought to the academy. "Did you see anything before?"

"Yeah. A strange mist passed by the lake area about the same time it happened." Ryujin nodded. "Then I saw him floating like a dead fish."

A frown crossed Jr's face. "Any noises before then, a struggle maybe?" he then asked, rubbing his chin. He suspected there might have been foul play involved. "Where were you before you found him?"

"Sleeping." Ryujin answered and Taylor and Jacen facefaulted. "What?"

Jr looked rather frustrated. "And I doubt he'll tell us what he did," he then said. "But I think he may have some kind of link with Mother Nature."

Kurt scratched the back of his neck. "I think he's just nuts," he admitted.

Lialai made her way down to the power room underneath the school. Using her aerokinetic abilities she allowed electricity to course through her veins into the light fixtures. She repaired everything and soon she was done. She flipped the switch and all the lights came back on.

"Very interesting.... very interesting indeed." said Den to Dirta. I haven't seen anyone use nature as a forcefield since the great Elemental Wars.

Dirta replied "Yes this boy, Daniel is very interesting. I didn't get to see his nails so I don't know how to judge him. For all I know his cuticles may be made of the purest silver. Or they might have the look of a rotting mushroom. There is no way to tell. But by hearing about what he just did he must of once had some connection to the darkside. And I am not talking about the common Sith soldier. I am talking about full blown Darkside master. That is one of the most powerful moves the Force offers".

Den nodded. "He didn't do it perfectly because if he had he wouldn't have fell out like that and the shield would last alot longer but I do not know of any living jedi who would have dared try it."

"Well he did and he brought us alot more time", replied Dirta. "Speaking of time, have you spoken with your time hopping partner? We need to train some more."

"Last thing I heard of him doing was when he was about to go spar with Lialai."

THE LIGHTS CAME BACK ON

"Hmmm..... looks like she got the power back on. Good girl. Dirta I will speak to you later."

Den walked of towards his study to meditate on this situation. He had hoped that he was wrong about this disbalance in the Force, but it always seemed that he was right about these things though.

Taan had just found his way to the main entrance, where the Masters were. He let his lightsabre extinguish itself and walked up to them.

"Excuse me, Masters. What's going on, why are the lights out?" he asked, fidgeting with his lightsabre hilt momentarily before pocketing it.

He hadn't noticed any of the light show or other events, because he had been inside, but he could sense the unease amongst those present, and wondered exactly what had happened.

It was at that point that the lights came back on, but Taan stayed where he was, since his question hadn't been answered.

Master Raven was leaning against the outside wall looking very calm. He looked up as Taan asked his question. "We have a temporary block against any attack from Lady Nocturne," he explained. "Oh and the strange boy seems to have been repeatedly struck by lightning."

"Well at least the powers back on," Jr said as he looked at his computer. "One of the ships is reporting a huge electrical pulse, something about a thousand lighting strikes in one place." He looked at Ryujin. "The middle of the lake."

"That's not possible is it?" Kurt asked.

Jr shook his head, he tapped into his computer to try and find out more.

Jr rubbed his chin. "There is more to this Daniel then meets the eye," he admitted. "It does appear that he can control nature, but I find it very strange that out of all the people slaughtered at that archeological dig, he was the only survivor, spared by the dark jedi who attacked."

The reply visibly shocked Taan. "What happened? Is he alright?" he asked, then realised he didn't know what strange boy Master Raven was referring to. "Wait a minute, what strange boy?" He hadn't seen any of those who had left since their return.

A few moments later, another question struck him. "What kind of block? And why won't it last for as long as you need it?"

He was fairly curious by nature, but it did occur to him that perhaps he shouldn't be asking so many questions of the Master at this time. However, it was too late, the questions were out in the open.

Master Raven looked towards Taan. "The sole survivor from a dark jedi slaughter on an archeological dig," he explained. "The block?" He lazily shrugged his shoulders. "That I am clueless about."

Daniel lay back in the bed, he could still feel the lightning flowing through him. He raised his hand in front of his face, his fingers emitted a few sparks. Daniel knew he was of use to them, surely they would see that too and wouldn't turn him away like the two dark jedi did. They would have to keep him around, he had a way of keeping Lady Nocturne away. No one in their right mind would abandon him again. He smiled and closed his eyes.

Lialai walked up the stairs and into the academy. She walked down the hallway towards the medical wing. She wanted to find out more about this boy. She thought to herself Maybe we can teach each other something. . She walked into the medical wing.

Daniel opened an eye as he heard someone enter the medical wing. He hadn't fallen asleep, he'd found himself unable to. Instead he had been lying there with his eyes closed so that everyone had left him be. He turned his head over to see who had come in.

"Hello, my name is Lialai. I was outside when you used that nature block technique." Lialai paused. "I was wondering, where did you learn that and how do can you absorb lightning?" Another question popped into her head. "Are you omnikinetic?" She waited patiently for his answers.

Lucca quietly observed and listened, nodding when Kurt mentioned his lack of knowledge on the block Daniel put up. She chipped in once he had finished talking. "I helped take him to the Medbay. He should still be there, if you want to talk with him."

Taylor perked up when Lucca came along. "Oh yeah. Lucca, we still have that lesson for you to do. You up to it?"

A slight twirling of his stick, and Taylor struck out at Lucca, testing her skills to see how much she knows already.

Kurt and Jr headed back inside themselves. Although the rain had stopped, they prefered the warmth and dryness indoors. Coming down the stairs was a tired looking Zadeth, rubbing his eyes.

"Hmm what did I miss?" he asked.

Kurt grumbled and headed for the mess hall.

Out of nowhere Taylor began the spar, striking out at Lucca with the stun-stick. Yelping as she brought her own stick up, she was able to barely parry the thrust. Falling back into what she knew of Form III, she took a quick hop backwards, putting space between herself and Taylor, holding the stick close to her body in a defensive stance.

Taylor, a form V expert, went to a high guard and struck down on the girl, pushing her back with his strikes.

Both Kurt and Jr settled down in the mess hall. It was the perfect place for them to discuss the data acquired about the forcefield that Daniel had put up. It also meant they were able to grab food whilst they did so.

“Well it would seem that it only covers the academy grounds,” Jr explained.

“I was afraid of that,” Kurt sighed, downing a tankard of ale. “That means Lady Nocturne can attack the cities instead.”

“Indeed,” he replied.

“Could we evacuate?” the King then asked.

“Could do, but then we don’t know if or when she would attack,” Jr then pointed out. “Plus a successful evacuation would take a lot of planning.”

Kurt downed the rest of his ale. “And we can’t just ask Daniel to put up more of these forcefields,” he then said. “This one almost killed him.”

A dark figure had been wandering through the forests, his journey was soon stopped by the large blue dome that covered the area immediately surrounding the academy.

“This presents a problem, does it not?” he said slowly in a coarse voice.

A second dark figure stepped out from behind him. “Yes it does,” he agreed. “No doubt he has discovered that we are after him.”

“That I agree,” the first figure said, bringing out a lightsaber. He ignited it, revealing a red blade. “But alas there are ways of getting inside.”

Her hand was starting to sting from the power of Taylor's strikes, yet she didn't let up her defense. And she watched, she observed. Studying Taylor's attacks and trying to find the percise moment when she can counter-strike...

He sipped a coke and pondered just exactly how that would be achieved. "For now all we can really do is continue training the padawans and hope they will be ready in time for Lady Nocturne's forces."

Hmm. Soresu. Interesting. Taylor saw the familiar techniques of a Form III student, as his twin's a budding master in the discipline. He continued to press his attacks, but made small, deliberate openings to see if she could catch them before he closed them.

Odcal joined Kurt and Jr. "That means there's not much we can do. All we can hope is that Lady Nocturne attacks here and we can push her back."

He sipped a coke and pondered just exactly how that would be achieved. "For now all we can really do is continue training the padawans and hope they will be ready in time for Lady Nocturne's forces."


Kurt nodded in agreement.

"First, she would have to get past the fleet currently orbiting the planet," Jr pointed out. "The problem being, we don't even know how big hers has become yet. She hides away in the deepest parts of the galaxy that haven't been fully explored."

Zadeth leaned against the doorframe and looked out to the forcefield that now stretched across the sky. He didn't believe that this Daniel kid had been the one to put it up, no someone or something else had to. Remembering the colour it had been before, he was surprised to see that it had now turned red.

"Ok, this doesn't look good," he said to himself.

He continued to watch as red lightning flashed across the sky. No doubt it was from the forcefield, but did that mean that it was failing already. Zadeth to be frank, wasn't really bothered. All the forcefield meant was a delay to the inevitable.

Odcal had finished his drink. He stood up and went outside to get some fresh air. He glanced up and noticed the strange color of the forcefield.

"Wasn't it supposed to be blue?" He asked himself. Then red lightning flashed across the sky.

"Well, guess it's time to ask that kid about the forcefield." Odcal said to himself.

Kurt sighed as Odcal left. "This isn't good," he told Jr.

Jr shook his head, since he was keeping in touch with the fleet in orbit, he had been told something strange was happening to the dome. "Neither is this," he replied.

Zadeth looked over at Odcal, "Like you'll get anything out of that weirdo," he told him.

Your majesty, it seems we have intruders, Master Blexe warned. It appears that they are coming from two differing sides, just two of them. I suggest you goy and find the others outside and track them.

Understood Master, Kurt replied. “Sorry Jr but this’ll have to wait, we have a problem on its way.”

Jr looked up, “Lady Nocturne?”

Kurt nodded, “Most likely,” he said and left the mess hall. Taylor we have a problem, if you’re busy I’ll take Jacen, if not meet me outside.

He continued to head down the hallway, Ryujin watch over Daniel, make sure he doesn’t try to leave, you’re the only one who can stop him if he takes dragon form.

Outside, he saw Odcal and Zadeth, a perfect place for them to be. “Odcal, Zadeth, you two head that way,” he said pointing to the lake. “It seems that some intruders are the reason for the red forcefield, Jr already mentioned there was something wrong with it.”

Zadeth nodded and looked toward Odcal.

I'm not about to interrupt another training session, Kurt. Taylor answered. Get Jacen.

Jacen was just coming out of the cafeteria with a drink of soda. "What's up?"

"Right." Ryujin nodded and headed to Daniel's room to guard it.

Daniel smirked at her. "Those are secrets that'll go to the grave with me," he replied. "But you know what? Perhaps I am omnikinetic, but how I am is not going to be told."

Lialai's eyes narrowed. This one was playing hard ball. "I wonder if it is in one of the books in the library. Probably not." She looked at Daniel. Was it possible that this kid could be a legendary omnikinetic? Was he so powerful with his skills that he could probably unbalance the Force himself? She had read of a couple of people who had the power to do that. Was he one of them? She speculated to herself. Since it was quite obvious that she wasn't going to get anything out of him, she decided to leave. She knew the truth would come out in the end.

Den looked out over the skyline from his bedroom window. He saw how the forcefield had turned from a deep blue to a bright red. Red lightning was beginning to appear and Den knew that their time was up. Den sent a message to Lialai, Dirta and Raist. You three are needed. Lady Nocturne is here and Daniel's shield is beginning to collapse. Battle will be upon us soon. Den walked out into the hallway with his hand on his blade and prepared himself for a long awaited battle.

Daniel was lying in the bed, his hands behind his head looking towards the ceiling. With Lialai gone he didn't have to talk about his powers.

Kurt looked towards Jacen as he appeared. "Trouble, we have intruders that have some how made their way through the forcefield," he explained and headed towards the forest, away from where Odcal and Zadeth were headed. "Follow me."

Becareful young ones, Master Blexe warned. I sense great darkness.

"All right." Tossing the now empty can into a trash can, Jacen headed outside after Kurt.

Kurt leapt through the tree's for a few minutes before stopping. He looked around for a moment before sniffing the air.

"I smell dark jedi," Kurt then stated and looked in Jacen's direction. "It seems a little familiar too, but I can't quite think why."

Master Den, stay at the academy as a last line of defence, Master Blexe suggested.

Kurt looked up as he heard a twig snap, someone wasn't being too careful. He ignited his lightsaber and stepped forward just as a dark figure stepped out.

"My, my if it isn't his majesty himself," the dark figure said. "I do hope you are looking after my son well."

Kurt scowled. "Drahcir Tyrneanea," he cursed.

A faint smile was seen from under the hood.

"Wait a minute, who's your son, Daniel?" Jacen asked as his sea-blue blade readied for battle.

Drahcir laughed.

No Jacen, his son is Zadeth, Kurt told him. Don't mention Zadeth is after the other intruder, I shouldn't have sent him.

"No but I am after him, well you do mean the freak those dark jedi left alone on that planet," the dark figure said. "Oh and I hear Lady Nocturne's a little busy too."

Drahcir ignited his red blade.

"More intruders? This just keeps getting more and more interesting." Odcal muttered to himself. "Well I guess there's no helping it, let's go." he started off towards the lake wondering if these intruders would be more earth ninja or something else.

"Seems so," Zadeth replied as he walked along side Odcal. "I don't like it though, we're being sent off in pairs so there can't be many of them."

The red lightning flashed down to the centre of the lake.

"I can't sense anyone, can you?"

Lucca kept defending to her ability, and yet she noticed several openings in Taylor's attacks. There... And there it is again! They had circled the training room several times now, and it was now that Lucca decided to make for the opening she's always seeing.

Taylor swung down hard on her, Lucca placing her Stun-stick parrallel to the ground and blocking the strike. Instead of taking a step backwards, she takes a step towards Taylor, taking her fist holding the stick and making a good old fashion punch to Taylor's face.

Odcal sighed. "No, not anyone that shouldn't be here."

Then he noticed that the red lightning had flashed into the center of the lake.

He started walking into the lake and swimming towards the center.

"I'm going to check the lake!" he called to Zadeth.

Lucca kept defending to her ability, and yet she noticed several openings in Taylor's attacks. There... And there it is again! The punch managed to hit Taylor, snapping his head back slightly. "Ow. Good one, Lucca. But this time, let's up the stakes..."

Round two was another series of offensive and defensive parries and strikes, but now, Taylor made Lucca work to find another opening. He isn't letting up on her easily this time around!

Drahcir laughed.

No Jacen, his son is Zadeth, Kurt told him. Don't mention Zadeth is after the other intruder, I shouldn't have sent him.

"No but I am after him, well you do mean the freak those dark jedi left alone on that planet," the dark figure said. "Oh and I hear Lady Nocturne's a little busy too."

Kurt stepped forward and attacked, but his attack has quickly countered and he was forced back.

"Now to find what drew the lightning here.." Odcal said as he started scanning the surrounding area.

Zadeth just watched as Odcal looked around. Another bolt of red lightning hit the centre of the lake, the exact spot that Daniel had stood when creating the forcefield, he had left behind a faint image of himself.

Agreed, Master Blexe. Den than sent another message to Lialai and Dirta. Lialai I want you to cover the top floors and Dirta I want you to cover the bottom floors. Thatway you will both have better advantages.

Den than walked to the doors in the front of the building. He sat down in front and tuned himself into the Force. He would be ready if anyone got past the jedi outside.

Hearing Den message Lialai quickly made her way to the top floors. She looked out of the windows. She could see how red the lightning was and the energy that was coursing through it. As she looked out of the mirror she saw something or someone back in the lake. She looked harder to make out the distinction of Odcal. Thinking to herself What the hell are you doing, Odcal?

Dirta looked around her room when she heard Den's voice inside of her head. She felt as though he was in the room with her. Den your powers have really grown., she thought to herself. Using her geokinetic abilities she tunneled out of her room and dropped down to the bottom floor. There she drew the hardest metals and gems out of the ground and put them around her body. The metals and gems began to quickly swirl around her as if combining with her body. She absorb all of their best properties and eventually made a great armor out of it. Inside of her robe rested chainmail stronger than diamonds and around her body rested a strong Force shield. She sent a message to Den and her dwarf friends and said Remember to always keep your fingernails clean. She smiled to herself. Then she put on her game face. She knew battle would soon come.

Without missing a beat, Kurt launched himself into a number of attacks on Drahcir that gave the dark jedi no other choice then to concentrate on him.

"I fucking hope not," Kurt scowled. "Lady Nocturne I can deal with, but Lady Dedlock as well?"

"There was an image of that Daniel kid at the exact same spot where he created the forcefield." Odcal said. "I wonder what it's for."

Zadeth looked up, thought it was now red, the forcefield was still up, only not as strong as before. "Perhaps to keep up the forcefield," he shrugged.

Looking towards Master Blexe, Den said "I trust your word completely Master Blexe but, are you sure that it is Lady Nocturne? Does the king have anymore enemies that you expect could do this kind of damage?"

Zadeth set off after Odcal, together they would have to find and defeat the intruder. After a few minutes search, they saw a dark robed figure leaning against a tree in the distance. It seemed that he had yet to spot them.

"I think that's our intruder," Zadeth said.

"Okay then. I guess we will wait here until something else comes up. I wonder what is going on outside." said Den as the sky flashed red again.

"Of course we shouldn't cancel out the possiblity of his grandfather returning," Master Raven then mentioned. He watched the red lightning flash toward the lake. "Red is after all Azazel's colour."

"His grandfather. I did not think about that possibility. Does his grandfather want to take his throne back?" asked Wescolum

"Only a year ago did Kurt defeat Azazel," Master Raven replied. "When Azazel escaped from his prison nearly ten years ago, he killed Kurt's entire family, including his father the King to take the throne. If he has come back then it will be to no doubt finish off what he had meant to do before and that is to kill Kurt."

"I never realized how much the king has fought for this country. Hopefully he won't have to fight his grandfather again but right now nobody knows."

Master Raven nodded. "It is why I believe he will be our nations best ever King," he said with a calm smile. "But I am pretty sure that Azazel has not returned."

This time the spar was faster, tougher. Lucca was amazed at Taylor's skill, and more then disappointed at her own.

Lucca struggled to keep pace with Taylor's fast and aggressive attacks. Taking several steps backwards, Lucca moved her stun-stick to block another downward strike. She let her arms bend to absorb the impact, then pushed back and up, giving herself a few seconds to dive to one side, rolling and coming up into a stand.

She switched her stance, going into a counter-attack stance. She felt she had seen enough of Taylor's move to begin her counter-attacks...

Taylor smirked as he switched to defense. "At last, you counterattack. But it won't help you now!"

At an opportune time, Taylor locked blades with Lucca...

"Actually," Kurt said and grabbed the dark Jedi.

In an explosion of purple smoke, he disappeared along with Drahcir. A couple of minutes later he reappeared alone.

"Now why didn't I think of that earlier," he smirked. "At least now we won't have to worry about Zadeth seeing his father."

Kurt picked up the discarded lightsaber and began to head back to the academy. After only a few steps he heard a twig snap somewhere off in the distence. Knowing it wasn't Jacen, his first instinct was to ignite his own lightsaber and listen out for any more noises out of the ordinary.

Hmm. I wonder what's there... Jacen thought as he readied for action again.

Two more dark Jedi appeared. "Well, well," one grinned. "Looky who we got."

Kurt cursed in his mind, he wondered where these to had appeared from.

"A couple of runts I reckon," the second remarked.

He launched a direct attack at Jacen, while Kurt found himself facing the other.

Jacen deflected the blows and as he did so, he summoned the water from the recent rain and turned it into needles to distract the dark Jedi.

The defeated dark Jedi just said nothing, he only scowled at the one who'd captured him.

Lucca locked up blades with Taylor, he was physically stronger then her, but by bracing herself with her feet, she was able to stop him from pushing the stick down on her. She gritted her teeth, tried to push back and break the lock.

Then the unthinkable happens. Her hands made slick by sweat lost gripped of the Stun-stick, the stick going flying over to one side. Her eyes go wide as Taylor continues to bring his stick down on her.

She steps in, tilting her shoulder and letting the stick graze her. She throws her arms around Taylor, with the intention of tackling him and using the Force to grab her stun-stick, yet once her arms fully encircle him, her mind goes blank, save for a single thought. This is... Nice.

Taylor was completely, utterly stunned by the sudden glomping by Lucca. Then a sweatdrop ran down his head and he started turning as red as his cloak. "Uh, Lucca? You're hugging me...It's kinda embarrassing..."

Meanwhile, Jacen broke off from Kurt to look for more intruders.

Lucca's eyes went wide, her cheeks a bright rosy red. She quickly released her grip, stepping back from Taylor. "S-sorry..." She rubbed the back of her neck, fully flustered. Her ears lay down flat against her head, taking another step away and folding her hands behind her back. "Umh... Umh... W-what were we doing?" She asked sheepishly, her mind still reeling from the hug.

"Uh, well, I suppose...we can call it a draw, I guess..." Taylor stammered. Oh boy...what a way to end a training session!

She glanced around the training room, spotting her stun-stick. That's right... I lost it, and then... Taylor... Her cheeks were burning again...

Trying to get his mind off the very recent event, Taylor suddenly remembered something. "I remember Kurt telling us there's intruders. I guess we could check it out."

Lucca nodded, moving to Taylor's side, trying to take on some semblance of normalcy. "Okay Lord Masaki. I'll follow your lead..."

Taan, who had gone back inside the academy when the power had come back on, was now standing in the entrance hall once again, having sensed that something wasn't quite right.

He walked out into the grounds, looking around carefully, searching for anything out of place, but currently unable to see anything of the battles going on, or indeed those which had already finished.

However, the fact that nothing initially jumped out and announced itself as being wrong didn't make him feel any better and he suddenly found himself holding his lightsabre hilt in one hand.

The King then headed off through the trees towards the area he had sensed the presence, expecting Jecen to follow.

Now he knew they were here, they had set off the forcefield. Having seen the others at the enterence, he quickly made his way to the back of the academy and out through a window.

Then Ryujin grinned. "But you know what? You won't be alone. You'll never be alone. We'll stand by your side to the very end."

Kurt nodded and turned to head back, only to see one of the robed figures stood before them.

"Going somewhere?" a female voice asked.

Daniel was growing angry at Ryujins lack of understanding. "It's when I don't run away that everyone dies," he replied. "Foster family after foster family killed, no one can stop it."

Lucca was still blushing, and Lialai's presense only made her blush more. She gives the other woman a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of her neck. "Hey, what's up Lialai?"

Kurt nodded and turned to head back, only to see one of the robed figures stood before them.

"Uh, just having a picnic." Jacen smirked.

"Have you tried?" Ryujin asked coldly. "When you are cornered, you attack, catch the enemy off guard. Of course, you're young and scared, so you might not know about that little tactic. But you know what? You're in safe hands. This is a Jedi Academy, with dozens of capable Knights. They've faced invasions before and come out on top."

Daniel stared at him through yellow eyes. "You don't even know who it is who's coming," he replied. "Someone worse then Lady Nocturne."

"Then you are just going to run? To leave them to die while you hide under a rock? Coward." Ryujin spat. "Never have I seen a dragon so yellow-bellied. So spineless."

Daniel launched himself at Ryujin, that sent them both crashing into the ground below. The black dragon was angry, hated filling his eyes. The ground shaking had alerted those inside the academy.

"Seems we have trouble," Master Raven said.

The female figure stepped forward, "No," she replied. "I know what you are up to, you've seen how many there are and you are on your way to warn the others." She ignited a red lightsaber. "We cannot have that happening."

Kurt ignited his own lightsaber. "But we can," he replied and stepped forward to attack.

Daniel launched himself at Ryujin, that sent them both crashing into the ground below. The black dragon was angry, hated filling his eyes. The ground shaking had alerted those inside the academy.
Ryujin roared bestially, slashing with his claws and biting with his sharp teeth. "You fight me because the truth hurts! You know deep down that you have little courage! Hah! Face me! Show me what you got! And then we shall see if you have the guts to face your foes!" With that, flames lashed out at Daniel.

Meanwhile, Taylor was still feeling a little embarrassed when something crashed outside, removing all embarrassment from his face. "Something's wrong. Let's go!" Taylor headed outside.

The female dark Jedi fought them off. She appeared to be more skilled then the previous three they had fought. Kurt made a few attacks that she easily blocked.

Hit her low, I'll hit her high.

Dark Jedi huh. Wonder what he wants. Odcal thought to himself as he retreived his lightsaber.

He began circling to the enemy's rightside in a Form II stance.

Odcal begin a series of quick strikes and stabs to distract the enemy in the hopes Zadeth could get him off guard.

Taan felt the tremors in the ground and ran in the direction he thought was the source, lightsabre in hand but not lit. He was quite possibly going in the wrong direction, after all, how could you tell where earth tremors originated from without proper equipment or a better understanding of the Force than he had?

Nonetheless, he began running in his chosen direction, wondering what was going on around here. Every five minutes something unusual seemed to happen, usually a bad something.

Ryujin grabbed the hand and moved into position for a shoulder throw. "No idea about what? That you have enemies? Big deal!"

Zadeth nodded, as Odcal began his attacks the black haired teen attacked and took the dark Jedi offguard. He was unsuccessful however, but that now presented Odcal with an opening of his own.

"Who?" Ryujin asked as he blocked blows from Daniel.

"I guess now I can get Taylor and the others?" Jacen asked.

"Lady Dedlock," Daniel growled. "My biological mother, I was stupid to think she wouldn't come here."

Lucca's hand seized around her ligghtsaber, following Taylor as he went to investigate the loud crash from outside...

"Lady Dedlock," Daniel growled. "My biological mother, I was stupid to think she wouldn't come here."
"Intruging." Ryujin answered. "Kurt must be notified."

Kurt nodded. "Go for it, I'll take her to the cells," he replied.
"All right." Jacen headed away with a teleport to find Taylor. Shortly, the cousins met up once more. "Taylor, we got trouble."

"What kind of trouble?" Taylor asked.

"A hundred enemies' worth." Jacen grimaced.

"Damn." Taylor cussed. "What are we going to do now?"

Odcal saw the opening and instantly attacked with a strong slice at the enemy's stomach. He also noticed that the ground was shaking slightly.

Having teleported the dark Jedi to the cells, Kurt teleported himself to where the others were.

"This is bad," he told them.
"Very bad." Taylor agreed. "We're in for a big fight..."

"If my mother gets me then what ever happens will be on your hands," Daniel said and walked off. "Oh and I do know you were meant to keep an eye out on me, you failed that."

Lucca breathed deeply, trying to calm herself. "A hundred Dark Jedis... May the Force be with all of us." She had both hands around her lightsaber, although it wasn't ignited yet. She was saving that for when she actually saw a Dark Jedi.

"If my mother gets me then what ever happens will be on your hands," Daniel said and walked off. "Oh and I do know you were meant to keep an eye out on me, you failed that."
Ryujin steamed and spoke ancient draconic words. Shining ropes sprang out of nowhere and grabbed Daniel. "You aren't going anywhere, my friend."

He dragged Daniel to Kurt and the others.

Lialai followed Lucca and Taylor outside. Have going outside with them she found out the same information Taylor had. Lialai looked at Taylor and said "My master had predicted that this would happen. I have prepared. The Force will guide us to victory." Lialai released her blade. She had changed the color of her blade to a luminous green. Looking at Taylor Lialai said "Let's go". She headed off in the direction of noise.

"Hey fuck you," Daniel swore at him. "I was heading back to the academy. I don't see why I should be punished just because you couldn't obey orders."

After running a short distance, Taan saw a figure he didn't instantly recognise, certainly not from a distance, but it appeared to be a jedi, dressed in long robes.

Having not found anything that resembled the source of the earth tremors yet (he was heading in wrong direction after all), and having no-one else around, he ran in the direction of the figure with the expectation that it was one of the masters from the academy.

Daniel was still struggling and was visibly bleeding from a few wounds.

Zadeth sighed and headed off back to the academy, the epicentre was now quiet. All that was left was the long lines where the earth had been moved aside and a few damaged trees. However there were no sign of any dark Jedi.

"Get the capable ones. Have the Padawans head to a place of safety if possible." Taylor said. "I'm hoping to bring it down to at least ten or five-to-one odds." Maybe the Kage Bunshins could help...

Daniel scowled at Ryujin.

"There are underground passages if needed fo those who are no match for the dark Jedi," Kurt said with a nod. "We could really use a few ninja's right now and we'd have better odds if we can somehow wake Thor."

"Send the Padawans through those passages. Then let's call in a few favors." Taylor smirked.

Kurt nodded. "We'll do that straight away," he said. "Ryujin, keep a dragon's eye view of the area. Warn us if they start coming through."

Lucca steps forward, closer to the King. "Is there... Is there anything you want me to do right now?" She openly requests. Although she is still technically a Padawan, she was well on her way to becoming a Jedi Knight...

Kurt nodded. "We'll do that straight away," he said. "Ryujin, keep a dragon's eye view of the area. Warn us if they start coming through."
"All right." Ryujin turned to his draconic form and flew off.

"Stick with me." Taylor said to Lucca, already churning his mind to who to bring. "You'll be safe around me."

Kurt turned to Taylor. "Now we need a plan," he said. "Once we get the the less experianced padwans safely into the passages."

"I shall do that your majesty," Master Raven offered.

Kurt nodded and Master Raven headed off to round up the padawans.

Odcal was on his way back into the forest when he saw Master Raven. He stopped and called to him.

"Master Raven! What is the current situation?" Odcal asked.

Master Ravens face looked rather bleak. "There is a gathered army of dark Jedi outside the forcefield dome," he explained. "Presently we are taking the inexperianced padawans down to the underground passages."

Lialai quickly ran around the area were she had heard noise. The had stopped and she had not seen anything. She quickly teleported back to were the King and Taylor were and reported that she hadn't seen anything. She waited to here what the plan was.

Den was still in the main hall with Raist waiting for something to happen. Master Raven had long left. Den thought to himself There is something strange about Master Raven or maybe it is just me. Den shook his head. Right now he was becoming suspicious of anything that moved or breathed. He trusted every but to a certain extent. He then sent a message to Master Blexe What is going on outside?

It appears there are maybe a hundred or so dark Jedi waiting to get inside the forcefield Master Blexe replied.

Den sighed and asked How much time do you believe we have left?

Master Blexe's tone changed, That I do not know I am afraid, he replied. The others are out front and Master Raven is rounding up the inexperianced padawans.

Den began to worry. This was worst than he had thought. Replying to Master Blexe he said aloud and in his mental voice We need a plan and a good one. I have a couple of ideas.

Dirta was down on the bottom floor trying to figure out what was going on. She had just got here and as soon as she got here she had to fight. She shook her head. Why didn't I just stay in my little hut. Thoughts lingering I wonder if my dwarf friends could help us defeat whatever is going on outside. All of the people who has some elemental powers could come in handy. Earth don't fail me now.

That we do, Master Blexe agreed. What is your plan?

Den rubbed his hands together and said We could use Dirta and some other geokinetics in the academy to create a pitfall around the shield. With this pitfall we could easily trap all of the dark jedi. Then Jacen and other aquakinetics could come and fill the pit up with water and freeze them in ice that will never melt. If the water idea doesn't work Dirta could use her geokinetic abilities to make a temporary dungeon out of the natural metals around the academy. Taylor with other pyrokinetics could then melt the metal around them and hold them in place. Then aerokinesis would come into effect. With aerokinesis we could cool the metal and hold them in place. Then we could easily slay the dark jedi. If standing right outside of the barrier than this plan should be successful. We would need a trap to bring them to a certain spot and then we could take action. What do you think?

That is certainly a good idea, Master Blexe said. Now we would have to put it to work.

"That's not good..." Odcal said. "I"ll go help them at the forcefield."

Odcal stretched out to locate where the others were. He then changed direction and started running in their direction.

Zadeth. It appears an army of Dark Jedi is attacking. Find us through the Force and come help.

The others were still out at the front of the academy.

Right away, Zadeth replied.

Using the force he located the others and headed straight there.

Den nodded. Lialai, I need for you to tell the King that we need a distraction near the forcefield. If we have a distraction there then we could start with our plan.

Lialai replied What plan master?

Den quickly informed her of the plan. Dirta will be joining you all soon.

Den then turned his attention to Dirta. Focusing his mind Den sent out a message to his friend. Dirta you will be needed outside very soon. I have a plan. Den told her the plan.

Dirta replied I think this will work, but if I have the help of a couple of friends. Dirta teleported out of the school and into the dwarve burrows underneath Draconis Nightcrawlis. She told them what was about to happen and asked for their help. They agreed quickly.

Den sent a message back to Master Blexe The mission to rid the dark jedi from this school has begun.

Lialai reported everthing back to the King, Taylor and Lucca. She told them of the elaborant plan Master Wescolum had come up with and of Dirta going to the dwarves for help. She said to them "Dirta will be here soon and she will need for us to bring the dark jedi close to the forcefield so that she can trap them. Master Wescolum has left it up to us to cause this distraction. This might be our only means of escape if it is really over a hundred different sith out there".

Very well, Master Blexe replied.

Kurt nodded. "I think we can do that," he said managing a slight smile.

Lialai smiled "So what are you going to do?"

Kurt smirked at her. "We're going to taunt them," he replied.

Lialai eyes flashed with excitement and said "Let's go."

As Kurt was about to head off, Master Raven returned with a few young padawans. As they headed inside, Master Raven turned to Kurt.

"The forcefield will barely last even two minutes," he said, pointing to a widening hole at the top.

"Shit," Kurt swore. "Take the padawans now and head down into the passages."

Master Raven nodded and headed inside.

"Shit. We won't have time to bring in the Leaf nin..." Jacen cursed as he looked at the weakening forcefield.

Kurt drew his lightsaber. "And they'll be in before we can even start the plan," he said. "Now it's a case of protecting the academy."

"Well let's give it all we got". Using the wind to magnify her voice Lialai shouted "Aye you stupid dark jedi did you know that your momma is so fat that she has her own gravitational pull". Lialai then sent a lightning bolt raining down outside the walls. She heard someone scream. That taunt was just the first of many.

The forest was eeriely quiet for a moment. Kurt looked up to see how faded the forcefield had become, it wasn't looking good as red lightning flashed across the sky.

"Right, we know which way they'll come," he said. "Daniel can you use the lightning from the sky to strike them?"

Daniel nodded. "But not often," he said.

"And that means using eveything we know to our advantage." Jacen said, removing his cloak and it disappeared into his room. "I'm going to use the lake. Lialai, I'll need you to compound water damage with lightning when I give the word!" He sped off for the lake.

"And of course, there's stuff to burn..." Taylor's eyes glinted as he pulled on his pyrotex gloves.

Ryujin was in the air, preparing to bomb the enemy with his powers.

Lialai looked at Daniel and said "I can help you to control your red lightning." With her ignited saber in hand she walked over to him.

Dirta had got the dwarves to agree to the standards. They said that they would be there in a couple of minutes. Dirta teleported to where Lialai was. She greeted the King and everyone else. She quickly inspected Lialai's nails and said ," I am glad to see that you all have been keeping up with your nails." She looked at the forcefield and said,"I hope the dwarves get here in time."

"No you can't," Daniel replied. "They're coming."

Sure enough, the forest began to echo with the sound of feet running towards the academy. A blot of red lightning came down from the sky and struck the ground somewhere within the forest.

"Who is coming dark jedi or dwarves?" asked Lialai. She couldn't tell difference between the sound of dwarves and the sound of jedi.

Daniel glared at Lialai. "Are you really that stupid?" he asked.

"Daniel..." Kurt warned.

The first of the dark Jedi came running from the forest.

As Lucca laid eyes ont he Dark Jedi running, she ignited her lightsaber, the last of the Jedis in front of the academy to do so. May the Force guide me through this... She inhaled and exhaled sharply, clearing her mind of distracting thoughts as she assumed a defensive posture.

Like Taylor wanted, she kept near him, and kept mindful of the others. Last thing any of them wanted was friendly-fire...

Kurt watched the lone dark Jedi, something wasn't quite right here.

"It's a trap," he said. "The others are hiding, it's the first wave."

Lightning flashed across the sky again.

Lialai took the comment in and used it to help focus her power. The comment angered her but she didn't need to retort at Daniel. As a dark jedi came out of the wood she took up a Makashi fighting style. She slowly walked towards him.

"If I were you I would turn around," said Lialai.

Dirta disappeared underneath the ground and came up behind the sith.

"You should really take her advice. You are in a situation you cannot handle", said Dirta.

Dirta launched a stone blitz technique at the dark jedi.

The dark Jedi was quickly taken down by the stone blitz technique. That however brought out the dark Jedi whom had been in hiding and they attacked Dirta right away.

"Go now, attack," Kurt said before teleporting over to fight them.

Dirta quickly took up at Soresu fighting style. She jumped up into the air and came down on one Sith's head with her lightsaber blade. She then used geokinetic abilites to rip spikes out of the earth and impaled multiple dark jedi. She then disappeared underneath ground and tunneled under a group of Sith. It was there that she waited for the King to tell her to make all of them fall under.

Lialai at the command quickly launched multiple force winds knocking many opponents back into the forest. She then struck down three opponents with lightning. She then engaged in one on one combat with a sith. "You will not defeat, sith". They clashed blades.

Kurt leapt into the battle weilding three lightsabers, one in each hand and one with his tail. He fought off several dark Jedi at once.

As the others ran out to join them, a second wave of dark Jedi emerged from the forest on the opposite side of the academy.

Lialai sent a message to Raist Raist are going to be needed outside. Hurry. She hoped that he would come quickly.

Lialai hurled her light saber through two different dark jedi and used her aerokinesis to keep the dark jedi she was fighting back. Drawing power from both sides of the force Lialai launched a power lightning attack at the jedi in front of her. It hit him dead on. Lialai used the force to bring her lightsaber back to herself.

She looked at the fried dark jedi and said "Somnium Aliquantulus Somnium, Quiritatio Aliquantulus Quiritatio. Dream a little dream, scream a little scream".

She then turned around and launched a stone blitz of her own at the crowd of dark jedi emerging from the opposite side of the academy.

Dirta collasped at least fifteen different sith in the hole. As lept out she raised multiple spikes out of the ground. She then pulled a great boulder out of the ground and through on top of them. She looked at Lialai and said "They all had such filthy nails.

Odcal had started running towards the others but then stopped. He sensed another group of Dark Jedi coming out from another location.

If the others are all fighting that group... That means this group could reach the academy and possibly attack before Master Raven finds all the padawans. Odcal thought. He quickly changed direction and reached the second wave of Dark Jedi. He ignited two lightsabers, one in each hand.

"Nice day isn't it?" he said calmly.

((OOC: Going ahead with Reno...))

Ever since his Active Scan, Reno had since went into silent running mode, observing, watching, and oh so discreetly blending in with the background.

Some time ago, a bright, blue dome formed on the planet, and after checking his Datapad, Reno managed to get a 90% confirmation that the dome was, more or less, directly over the Jedi Academy.

Worry his lower lip as the Dome turned red. "Looks like it's now or never." Reno kicked his ship out of Silent Running, booting it to full power, then sent a communiqué to the inbound fleet. "This is Reno Blackrose, independent Bounty Hunter. Something's happening planet-side. I'm going down now to check it out. Over."

He didn't bother waiting for a reply, kicking the throttle up to full power and finding an entry vector that would bring him close to the Academy...

As Reno broke through the atmosphere, he slows his craft enough and sets it into a lazy infinite eight over the dome, looking through the viewports. Even without help from the sensors, he could see the Dark Jedi just outside the dome. "Red lightsabers stand out like a wookiee on Endor..." He smirked to himself...

Having his computer do a quick search, it finds the frequency for the Academy's communication system, and broadcasts to it. "This is Reno Blackrose, independent Bounty Hunter. Looks like you guys got a Sith problem. If you’re offering a bounty on those Sith, I'd be glad to lay down some air-support... Over." He maintains his heading and direction...

"You'll get dirty nails after this," Kurt laughed as he took down two dark Jedi.

Their bodies slumped to the ground and the King leapt into the air before landing behind a few more. They turned around before he even got a chance to stab them in the back.

Back at the academy, the others had a busy time of keeping the second group of dark Jedi from advancing on the academy. It would be better to keep them out.

Having his computer do a quick search, it finds the frequency for the Academy's communication system, and broadcasts to it. "This is Reno Blackrose, independent Bounty Hunter. Looks like you guys got a Sith problem. If you’re offering a bounty on those Sith, I'd be glad to lay down some air-support... Over." He maintains his heading and direction...

Since they were busy dealing with the dark Jedi and getting the vulnerable padawans to safety, there was no answer. The best thing would be to get landing permission from Wundagore DN Air Control.

Odcal was having a very hard time trying to push the Dark Jedi back away from the academy. Every time he sliced through one, two more would take his place. He had to keep pushing short bursts of the Force through his body just to stay alive.

Next time I try facing an army of people, I need to ask some Leaf ninja for some exploding tags. Odcal thought to himself as he decapitated two more.

Reno never recieved a reply. Below him he could see the pitched battle. It appeared like two groups of Sith were battling the Jedis just outside the Academy. Of course, since Reno couldn't confirm he'd get paid for helping either side, he wasn't about to waste the ammunition. "Guess no one's at the comms. Still, maybe one of the Jedis below will see my ship and get to the comms... Maybe... I'll give them some time..."

Again having his computer perform a search, he managed to locate Wundagore DN's Air Traffic Controller. Opening a comm to it, Reno begins to speak. "This is Reno Blackrose, Independent bounty hunter. Got a lead on a bounty head which brings me here. May I have permission to begin an aerial search?"

While he waited for a reply from the ATC, he continued his inifinite eights, observing the battle with an inpassive mercenary outlook.

Zadeth dropped in behind Odcal. "Backup's here," he smirked and started to fight the dark Jedi alongside him. "They'll never get past us."

Again having his computer perform a search, he managed to locate Wundagore DN's Air Traffic Controller. Opening a comm to it, Reno begins to speak. "This is Reno Blackrose, Independent bounty hunter. Got a lead on a bounty head which brings me here. May I have permission to begin an aerial search?"

"This is Wundagore DN Air Traffic Control, permission granted. You may procced with caution."

A spinning waterspout suddenly moved out of the woods and into ranks of the second group of dark Jedi while Taylor attacked with a fire twister, then launched into Djem So to attack the Dark Jedi there. Meanwhile, Ryujin strafed the enemy with blue-white beams of crystalizing energy from his mouth, his signature Crystal-Shatter attack at work.

Daniel raised up a hand and red clouds swirled over head. The same red lightning came down and struck several dark Jedi whom had been holding back waiting for the defenders to tire.

"I sense a third wave," he warned.

Lucca moved forward with Taylor, although in the furiousness of his attack, she lost track of him, becoming side-tracked by a Dark Jedi. He began to attack her, using the Ateru* Form. Gritting her teeth, Lucca pressed back, blocking and defending against his attack.

Taylor was a more skilled in the Form V style then this Dark Jedi, and Lucca easily broke through his attacks and imapled him with her blue Lightsaber. As his body fell, Lucca moved onto the next Dark Jedi, although she made sure that she didn't venture too far from the Academy entrance...

"Roger that Wundagore Air Traffic Control." He began to pull out of his infinite eight, then a thought struck him. Opening back the comms, he sent a message across to the Air Traffic Control. "Wundagore Air Control... Do you happen to know if there are any standing government bountys for Sith, or Jedis? Over."

That was the last chance. If the government would pay him for either side, then he'd assist. Of course, if there were no bountys for Sith or Jedis, then the Jedis and Sith were on their own...

"There are always bounties out on Sith by order of His Royal Draconian Highness, King Kurt II. Over."

Reno smirked widely. "Oh yeah, it's payday." He sends a message back. "Roger that. If you could have someone inform His Highness, King Kurt the Second, that I'm taking up that bounty, that'd be grand. There seems to be a Sith attack on the Jedi Academy over here, a lot of Sith. My computer's counting upwards of a hundred. Well, not that many for long now. Heh heh heh... Over."

Reno pulls his craft out of the infinite eight, speeding away from the academy. To those on the ground, it would appear as if he was leaving.

Cruising along for a few minutes, Reno banks his ship, pulling a sharp U-turn. Calling up a computerzied map of the area around the academy, he has his computer input the approximte locations of the Dark Jedis he had saw, and output a Strafing Run vector for him. The Blue Narcissist's 'arms' deploy out to the back, each loading up a general purpose dumb-fire missile.

Smirking as the computer approves the Strafing Run, he pushes his craft to full power, roaring towards the academy. Keeping the nose down, he pulls the trigger, his craft's nose mounted Plasma Pulse cannons stitching a line through the trees and into the ranks of the approaching third group of Dark Jedis, releasing the gun's triggers just before the line reaches the lead Jedi.

He soars past the academy, and as he flies by, the misiles launch, rocketing behind him to slam into a grove of trees near a group og Dark Jedis. The explosion from the missiles start a fire, and shrapnel from the missiles take out a handful of Dark Jedis.

Reno pulls his craft into a wide bank, preparing to make another Strafing run at the Dark Jedis...

Taan was some distance from the others, and on his own. No-one had yet attempted to contact him through the force, and the only person he could see was the one he was running towards.

As he approached the figure, it turned around to face him. He realised that it was an unfamiliar face, one that smiled evilly on seeing the young padawan. A lightsabre appeared, and a brilliant ruby blade sprang forth from it. The figure advanced on Taan, raising the weapon, ready for a fight.

Taan made to thumb on his own lightsabre, but of course nothing happened. His master just had to have given him an unconventional design, didn't he? He tried to concentrate on the weapon, but the result was more of a lightknife than the preferred sabre.

The dark jedi made to attack, a downward slice, and Taan had nothing he could reasonably block it with. Instinct took over, and he threw up his hands in a defensive gesture. To his surprise, the dark jedi was thrown backwards by an invisible blast. He looked down at his hands in confusion, then looked back at his opponent, who was already climbing back to his feet and advancing on him once more.

Jacen sensed the boy in trouble and sent a waterspout his way to stop the Dark Jedi. Taan! To the Academy, now!

"Shit, who the fuck was that?" Kurt said, almost yelping, surprised at the craft that whizzed past the academy overhead. He hadn't recognised it as he slashed across the abdomen of a dark Jedi.

"Who the hell is that?" Odcal yelled and he almost tripped from surprise as the ship soared overhead and launched a barrage of missiles into a group of Dark Jedi. He recovered quickly and just managed to dodge an enemy saber and quickly stabbed the guy in the lung.

"At least he appears to be on our side since he's attacking the Dark Jedi."
