Wundagore DN, home to several cities and the Draconian Jedi Academy. Unlike a certain Exetergrecia Academy there was no secrecy around what the academy students were taught there. The academy was situated deep in the forests of the north in the largest continent on the planet. There was plenty of space for those at the academy to go about their training and not be disturbed and when needed there was a train station at the academy should any have wished to go to one of the planets cities.

The main doors of the academy looked down towards the hanger where the academy shuttle along with shuttles from other ships would land. It was from there that Jedi Master Benga Blexe could watch those coming to the academy for the first time. The academy itself was rather new, built under the suggestion of King Kurt II. It also served as an outpost to protect the Draconian colonies in the area. Master Blexe had decided against a formal opening as he felt that might attract a little unwanted attention. Not that a Jedi Academy wouldn’t have that problem anyway.

“Certainly a job well done on the building Master Blexe,” came a voice behind him.

The voice was that of King Kurt II himself, he was stood beside the Master Jedi as he had wished to see the academy for himself. Master Blexe looked over at him and shook his head.

“Is that t-shirt really appropriate your majesty?” he then asked.

The King, a Draconian blue elf, raised an eyebrow, “I think its just fine,” he replied.

The Jedi Master shook his head, “You should be in traditional Kings clothing your majesty,” he then added.

Kurt placed his hand behind his head, his long indigo hair was neatly tied back. Personally he saw nothing wrong with wearing a Bathory t-shirt. “But I’m King, I can wear what I want,” he replied with his confidence.

One Padawan was already there, a Draconian by the name of Zadeth Tyrneanea was stood behind them looking rather bored. Due to his black hair and black eyes, most people automatically presumed he was Sith. The King himself was going to make sure that Zadeth would not be lured down the same path as another friend, Eamonn Jarlath had. He would keep the fourteen year old on the side of light, even if he was rather independent.

“But your majesty, it does not set a good example, particularly for the young padawans,” Master Blexe told him. “It is wise that you act as a proper role model for them.”

“When are they due anyway?” Kurt then asked, changing the subject rather quickly. He wondered if Master Soloran would think the same. Probably knowing him.

“Soon your majesty,” the academy Master replied.

Soon a shuttle emerged above them, breaking through the atmosphere. Slowly it descended into the hanger and landed.

“Here they are,” Benga Blexe said.

Kurt looked up again, strangely he was reminded of the battle against Lady Nocturne. Though she had been defeated, he always wondered if she might come back. It was always a pain to think about that, it was forever there in the back of his mind saying it would happen. He shrugged it off as paranoia, but then again who knew what the Norns would throw at him while he was King.

They watched as those that had been aboard the shuttle left the hanger.

Mirila grabbed her bag and walked out of the hanger, she was trying to look in all directions at once as she strove to absorb as much information as possible before finding out who would be taking them to the temple. She saw a blue person and old man. "I wonder who they are and where one of them is in charge of the temple." She was slightly nervous but not as much as one might think for an eight year old on her own. She had been raised to be independent and highly self confidant, and these attributes were being put to the test at the time.

'Intergalatic Frontier,' Somewhere in Deep Space

The floating city station, 'Intergalatic Frontier,' was a massive space station, floating in orbit around a dead planet. The single, Sol sized yellow sun rotating lazily off in the distance. The space station was relatively independent, and was often frequented by Mercenaries and bounty hunters alike.

Within one of the more seedier pubs in the station sat the lone Bounty hunter Reno Blackrose, enjoying a cold and very cheap beer.

He was currently 'off-duty.' That is, for a bounty hunter, meaning he wasn't actively looking for bounty heads to tackle. Right now, all he wanted was to relax, and enjoy his beer.

As he sat there, a short Bothan came up to his side, slipping a small datapad on the counter in front of him. "For you." The Bothan said, before quickly vanishing into the bar crowd.

Reno eyeed the datapad, then sighed, picking it up and activating it. The device listed off a world, and a location. "Wundagore DN, huh?" He reveiwed the information there, noting the map which gave the location of what appeared to be a temple of some sort. If his Bothan wasn't too rusty, the name tagged to it was 'Jedi Acadmy.' "Well... Looks like I got a lead... Better head on it..."

Paying his bill, Reno leaves the pub, and heads for his personal ship at the docking bays. Craning his neck, Reno types in his personal code, then grips the controls of the craft, powering it up and taking off into space, jumping to Hyperspace as soon as he the ships hyperdrives were ready...

Mao Do Shin stepped off the shuttle. He was slightly nervous about entering a new Academy and recieving a new master but he could not wait to enter the final stages of his training and refine his skills. he carried with him his small bag of personal belongings...mostly clothes. He noticed the blue man standing next to the old man thinking to himself Well atleast I won't be the only blue one on this planet...

Deep within the chambers of the new jedi academy the Jedi Master, Den Wescolum meditated patiently waiting for the new younglings to arrive at the school. He knew that this was going to be a new experience. He hadn't been around younglings in years but he really wanted to help guide there minds on the right path. As Den sits there patiently he suddenly opens his eyes.

"They are here", said the wise jedi. As he stood up he used the Force to float his unique lightsaber to him. It was an electrum, dual-phase lightsaber with flicks of amethyst stones in the hilt.

He quickly departed the room at double the speed of natural humans. When he finally reached the door to the hangar Wescolum froze. He used the Force to look into the future of the academy before he walked out onto hangar with the king and his fellow master of the jedi arts out on the hanger. He sensed that something was going to happen but he could not decide what it was. He thought about and chose just to ignore this vision. He would meditate on this later. He opened the door and to the hangar and joined his colleagues just as the future jedi order members entered the temple.

"Hello your majesty and Master Blexe". he said quietly as he settled himself next to the small king.

"Master Blexe I see that our new students have arrived."

As Sey Koth Steps out of the ship with his cloak on(covering his stained appearence) he walks strait over to the leaders of the academy and introduces himself, keeping his face in the shadows of the cloak.

He feels alone not knowing any one, but also a since of independence sweeps over him as he is the first to introduce himself to the Masters at the academy. He is eager to learn were everything at the academy is and asks about the history of the academy. Noticing he is being a little to forward for just meeting them he holds back his excitement and waits for instructions with the rest of the new arrivals.

Odcal received clearance to land and did so. As he went through the landing procedure he thought about how his life would be like at this new academy. He knew that the people of Draconis Nightcrawlis were good as he had met several of them including the new king of DN. However, he could not help but wonder how life at this Jedi Academy would be different from other places.
He stepped out of his ship and looked around. He saw a small group forming and smiled as he recognized the new king of DN. He introduced himself to King Kurt and the Academy Head.

Master Blexe smiled, "I welcome you all to the Wndagore Jedi Academy," he said. "Feel free to wander around and settle yourselves in. If you're in any needthing, feel free to ask myself or any of the other Jedi Masters."

Kurt was happy to see Odcal once again, he'd known him from the academy on Yavin IV. He was a friend of Eamonn and Daniel's but had not heard from him in a while. "It is good to see you again Odcal," he said. "I trust you are well."

Master Blexe turned and headed inside as he said, "Your rooms are on the top floor, feel free to stake your claim."

Master Blexe turned and headed inside as he said, "Your rooms are on the top floor, feel free to stake your claim."
"Well I'll see you later Kurt. I'll go look at the rooms" Odcal walked into the Academy and started looking for a room. He had his droid carry his belongings.

Curious about the planet and the academy he goes to the archives and researches about everything on the planet and the jedi order. He is amazed at what he finds about the order and cannot wait till he becomes a full fledged Jedi knight!

He then wandered aimlessly around the compound untill he came upon the archives. He decided to do some research about the people on this planet and the Draconis Nightcrawlis. he was shocked to find out that he definently wouldn't be the only blue one on this planet. He then went back to his room to put away his few belongings.

Aayla Secura sat in the chambers of the academy. Having already met the Jedi Masters and fellow Knight Odcal Qoda, she was calmly sitting in the shadows twirling the hilt of her sabre without much of a care. Her tighter black garments were much different from the other jedi, but it didn't seem to bother her. The 2 tentacles from the back of her head, or "lekku" as her people called them were resting on the back of the chair.

"Well, time to meet the preschoolers."

"Hello I am Den Wescolum" said the master to all of the apprentices that walked up to him.

Soon all of the students were in the building and Den began to walk around the school. He was thinking about the vision that he had received and wondered if he should discuss it with the other masters. He decided that he would but he would do after everyone was settled in.

When he finally reached his room he decided to meditate and rest.

"Well SevenEx," Treezago Fett said to his highly modified Asrtomech Droid, R7-X3,"There it is. Wundagore DN."
A series of beeps and whistles sounded in the cockpit of the "Fett's Revenge". A message scrawled accross the Commo Board.
"Yes, I know. Looks just like any other habitable planet doesn't it? Well, somewhere down there, somwhere on the North Continent, lies our destiny. I've waited a long time for the few remaing Jedi to come together and create a new academy. And now they've done it." Behind the deep grey faceplate of his Vintage Clone War Era Battlearmor, Treezago's smile was invisible.
Blacker nearly than the surrounding space, with no running lights, the "Fett's Revenge" hung. All systems but the barest life support shut down to conserve energy, and remain unseen, while Treezago prepared his next move. Heavily modified and retooled, Treezago's ship was barely recognizable as an older model X-Wing. With dual-blaster cannons at the tip of each of the four S-Foils that had started life as a pair of Densia Quad-Guns, a forward Dual Ion Cannon scavenged from a Y-Wing fighter, triple layered shields, a dual-core hyerdrive modified by Treezago form the hyperdrives from a pair of scrap X-Wings purchased at Correllia that gave it the speed of a Fast Attack Frigate, and a sublight engine system cobbled together from the remains of a salvaged YT-2400 transport, the "Revenge" could outrun any starfighter, absorb nearly any attack, and dish out the punishment of a ship three times her size. Add in the highly modified cabin, which had been elongated years ago to carry a second passenger, in the days when Treezago ran with his old friend, Ea Ol Dha, and what you saw before you were reduced to component atoms, was a monstrosity. And yet, she was bueatiful beyond imagining, trim and sleek, somehow conveying the image of majesty and grace, despite all of her add ons. (Yes), thought Treezago,(she is a good ship).
"SevenEx, open a channel to Wundagore DN. Direct it to the Head of the Jedi Academy. Message begins:

"Greetings to you Master. My name is Treezago Fett. Do not fear the Fett name. I come to you not as enemy, but as friend. Yes, I am one of the Clones created by the Masters at Kommino, but I am unlike any of the other Clones from the Fett line. For reasons even I have never understood, Jengo Fett's cruelty and hatred did not transfer to me. I have recently discoverd that I have a very slight sensitivity to the Force which the Jedi use for thier power, and it is possible that this is the reason for the failure.
" I have come to you to offer my services. I have made my life as a a Bounty Hunter, seeking out Bounties only on other Hunters, and on men which I have had cause to call evil; murderers, slavers, and scum. I have long hoped for the return of the Jedi. From tales I have heard, I believe my services to you may become invaluable in the days to come. Evil days are comming, and I have reason to believe you will need one of my skills, well versed in the underside of life that the Jedi have little knoweldge of.
"I make this offer, not from any hope of reward, but because I believe that the slaughter of the Jedi was the single greatest wrong perpurtrated against this galaxy since the days of the ancient Sith Wars. The Jedi were always known for thier sense of Honor and Justice. I call now upon that very sense to see me for what I am, a man, who desires nothing more than to help see the Jedi Order restored to it's former place in our Republic, as Gaurdians and Healers.
"I would also like to petition your teachers to give me some training in using this slight Force Sensitvy I have. While I well know that my meager powers will never allow me to attain the vaunted rank of Jedi Knight, I still believe with some instruction I can put my powers to use in helping to defend and restore the Jedi Order.
"I bring with me, an item that may be of some use to you. I have heard rumors that deep inside your Academy you hold an item form a deep and distant past. An item known as the Kaibarr Crystal. I believe that what I have found may be a similar artifact. It is a small deep red crystal, not quite one handspan in length, half a span in width, and half a span in depth, that seems to be able to magnify a persons ability to percive and control the Force. It is through this crystal, known by the one who gave it to me as the Knoctal Facet, that I first descovered my Force powers.
" I humbly await your reply.

"Ok, SevenEx, send that."

Stroking the Knoctal Facet, Treezago sat in the cockpit of his starfighter.

"Well, SexenEx, no reply so far. Take us on a slow orbit of the Wundagore Sun, comming back here to DN in 10 hours. I'm going to get some sleep."

A quick acknowledging beep came from SevenEx, as manuvering thrusters fired. The Revenge slowly began to accelerrate towards the Wundagore's system's sun.

Treezago removed his Helmet and pulled the small lever at the side of his seat, laying it back into a reclined posistion. Four deep breaths and a sigh later, he was asleep.

Once completly out of all sensor range, SevenEx engaged the Sublight drive, taking the Revenge to a speed of .75 C. An extremly easy course, this slow orbit. SevenEx activated his second processor, effectively giving him two minds, and began to play a game of virtual Saabac with himself.

Taan Skeat walked down the shuttle's access ramp holding the bag containing his few possessions. The hangar was virtually empty, but there were a few people still around.

He looked around guiltily, knowing that had he not been asleep when the shuttle landed he would have followed the others. He briefly considered whether or not he should ask for directions, then realised that if he didn't, he could quite easily get lost or into trouble, or both, and, while neither predicament overly bothered him, it wouldn't make a very good first impression.

Resigning himself to this course of action, the young Togruta walked over to the nearest person with the intention of asking for help.

"Excuse me, where am I supposed to be? I seem to have missed the introduction," he said clearly, but a twitch in his lekku betrayed his nervousness. At least he couldn't blush like a human could.

He regretted sleeping through the landing even more now, since not only had he missed what he was supposed to be doing and where he was supposed to be doing it, he had also missed the opportunity to look at the planet out of the window of the shuttle, since although he had been to other planets than Coruscant, he couldn't remember them.

Aayla was leaving the hangar when the young Togruta walked up to her. She saw the lekku but was of different species. Her blue lekku swayed as she smiled and looked down on the young one. Listening:

"Excuse me, where am I supposed to be? I seem to have missed the introduction."

Noticing no one around, she simply replied.

"Well, you should be following Master Wescolum, but I think I can give you a tour of the academy. I'll skip the boring stuff for a young one like you and get to the point so you can meet up with the others."

Walking around guiding Taan around the academy, she shows him the living areas, training areas, hangar bay, lake, forest where they were not recommended to go, and the other areas that padawans were permitted to go. She saw the group ahead and told him he could go join them unnoticed by a majority of the group.

Walking through the halls, she noticed an astromech droid displaying a message before she quickly stopped Odcal. Sensing something was wrong...

"Now since this tour is finally over all of you may depart to your rooms.", he told the apprentices, "I have a some business to attend to".

Taan was artfully sidling up to the group of apprentices, doing a reasonable job of not being noticed, when Master Wescolum spoke to him. He started suddenly and bowed his head at the admonishment, realising that he should have known better than to try and sneak past the Jedi.

He did know better than to try and evade responsibility for his actions went confronted by a Jedi, the result of several escapades back at the Coruscant Academy, so he came clean with his story.

"I'm sorry, Master. I was asleep on the shuttle and I didn't wake up when we landed," he explained. "I will try to be more punctual."

He scratched at one of his lekku with a finger as they were dismissed, then followed the rest of the apprentices towards the dormitory. Since the others had all been there before, Taan was left to find a room that was currently unoccupied. "Fear."

Treezago sat in the cockpit of the Revenge looking down at Wundagore DN.

"SevenEx, I don't know about this. I sense much fear, much hate. Do I dare bring the Knoctal Facet into that group? Fear and Hate are the paths to the Darkside, I've always heard. Can I deliver this crystal of good into the hands of beings who Fear so much? What if, in trying to help these young ones, I help to create another Vader? I hid from one Vader for far too long to help in the beginnings of another.

"Give me a set of Jump co-ordinates. Let's Jump to the Jomark system. It's only a few Lightyears from here. I can still monitor any messages the Master decides to send, but from there I can be safe from any attack. The Facet tells me that it's destiny lies with one of great good, and I'm not yet sure that that one is here."

Mere seconds later the Revenge disappeared in a burst of Coriolis Light, and slipped into Hyperspace. At it's top speed of .7 over Light the trip would take slightly less than 17 hours. After making sure that the Jump had occured with no problems, Treezago relaxed. He leaned back, and ate a standard ration bar, washing it down with a hard earned bottle of Alderaanian Sparkle water.

Well clear of the Wundagore system, with 9 hours left on his flight, Treezago decided to get some sleep.

SevenEx searched his databanks. Form what little knowledge he had of the Force he could indeed see that Fear and Hate were bad things for Force Wielders. He worried deeply for his friend Treezago. Ever since he was purchased, new from the Factory, Treezago had always treated him with the utmost curtosy and respect. How many other Droids could say that they worked for a Being who had, as thier first act as owner, freed them, giving them complete autonomy? He worked for Treezago, not as a Slave, not as a Droid, but as an equal. Were SevenEx a lifeform, he would have to say that he was under a Lifedebt to Treezago, and that Treezago were under a Lifedebt to him. THey had saved each others exsistances so many times, niether could count them.

Moaning slightly to himself in worry, SevenEx turned again to his second Brain. BUt this time, even playing Saabac against himself could not stop his memories...thoughts of all the times he and Treezago had helped the Rebellion behind the scenes kept creeping accross his mind. Endor. The last second blast that took down the SSD's bridge shield before that poor A-Wing pilot crashed into it. Bakura. SO many Ssi-Ruuk fighters they had shot down. Dathomir. Helping to kill that first Victory Class Destroyer, one of only 3 X-Wing class fighters in that battle that had not be tampered with, before thier shields were knocked out, forcing them to flee. If only this new Republic knew how much they already owed to Treezago...but he would never tell them. His sense of honor would never allow him to mention it. ANd now, here at last was the culmination of all of Treezago's hopes..and it looked like the Jedi might reject him outright. All because of a name. SevenEx tried to push the dispair away, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not.

"May the Force be you and protect us all." said Wescolum as he exited the room.

Feeling a little boredom as he walked around the academy eager to meet some worthy duelists, Den walked outside and saw an apprentice practicing with his lightsaber technique.

He stood there watching the young warrior fight until another apprentice walked up and started talking to him.

As he walked down the halls of the academy he tried to find something to do so he went to the library. He was surprised to see how many students were in the library reading and went to a shelf. He picked up a series of books documenting everything that had previously happened in the Clone Wars. He took the books back to his quarters and studied them.

After he was done learning from the book he took out his lightsaber and began shadow dueling with it he was a master of 5 of the 7 styles of lightsaber technique and planned on learning the other 2. He had already mastered the hardest of them all through studying the Windu journals closely. He was very proud of his skills with the lightsaber and his mastery of the Force. He had even learned the technique that allows you to change the properties of the lightsaber blade.

He eventually stopped and rested for the next day because tomorrow training started.

Arriving at the Jomark system, Treezago set his Starfighter into orbit around the 7th planet. Totally uninhabited, JomarkVII did not even have a true name. IN some parts of the system VII was known as Veyeeye.

Greatly disturbed, Treezago withdrew the Knoctal Facet from it's hidden compartment and began stroking it lightly. The Facet started talking to him, as it always did, in a deep gravely voice that Treezago knew, but could not place.

(Paitence. Be calm. At peace. Time will bring all things to thier destiny. My time is not yet. Soon. The one will arrive. Light will always defeat Dark, but sometimes Light needs help, that on it's surface appears Dark. Just as my brother from Kaibarr knew, so do I know. Time is needed to heal. Darkness engulfed the Universe not long ago. It will take time for the Light to beat back all the damage that the Dark has done.)

Master Blexe quietly pondered what Master Wescolum had told him. Yes he could feel that very same imbalance in the force he had been told about, though he didn't know what to think of it. He decided it would be best if he were to meditate.

Taan was sitting in his room, trying one of the exercises that he had been told about before leaving the Academy at Coruscant. The Masters there had known of his impatience, and had tried to eliminate it.

It would take a long time, but it was possible to teach to young Togruta patience, although he had to want to learn patience for it to work. Taan wanted to become a Jedi, which wasn't quite the same, but he understood that he had to have patience if he was to become a Jedi.

To that end, he was sitting on the floor, legs out flat in front of him, arms supporting his chest. He wasn't moving, just sitting there, staring at his toes. There was a small timer out of view behind him, counting down the time until the amount recommended by the Masters had passed, but even if it went off, he had challenged himself to sit there for as long as possible, so he would ignore the timer.

It wasn't an easy way to learn patience, nor a fast one, but it would work. All he had to do was sit and stare at his toes for a period each day and he would learn patience. Eventually.

In the mean time, he would remain as impatient as ever, which, coupled with his aggression, would make him a problematic apprentice for whoever ended up training him.

Kurt sighed, he really didn't like remember what happened to Eamonn, but Odcal did have a right to know. "He did die," the King then told him. "By my hand, I killed him with my lightsaber. He had fallen to the darkside and there was a battle at Tortuga DN. There we fought and I won the battle."

Kurt shook his head, he could remember the battle well and talking about it, it sounded as if it had been easier to fight then it really was.

"After that his body disappeared," he then continued. "We didn't know what had happened to it until we found him alive on the Norns planet. He won't even use the force anymore, he has completely blocked it out."

Somewhere in space.

“My Lady is it time?”

“No, the ships are not ready yet.”

The black robed figure bowed and left the bridge. Stood in front of the viewscreen was a nightmare from Draconis Nightcrawlis’ past, she was Lady Nocturne and she awaited her revenge against those that had defeated her. This time she planned to bide her time, her reluctance to be patient last time was her downfall and she had had plenty of time to realise that. Six years in fact.

Perhaps there would even be someone there for him to practice a fight with. That however went out the window as he found no one else there. Taan was still in his room, continuing to stare at his toes. The timer had gone off ages ago, but he was still there. Then he felt a strange sensation, something he had no idea what had caused it, but he knew vaguely what it meant. He also knew what had to be done.

He picked himself up from the floor and left his room, dashing down the stairs to the main levels. He saw an adult and asked where the masters were. After being told they were outside, he ran back to the stairs and down to the ground floor.

Once outside, he spotted the masters all grouped together, in conversation. He went over to them quickly, walking the last few steps.
"Excuse me, Masters," he said, even remembering to bow. When they looked at him expectantly, he continued.
"I just felt something through the Force. I don't know what, but I felt it. The Master on Coruscant said I should always tell someone when I felt something from the Force, so I am." He stopped and when he spoke again, he sounded worried. "Is something bad going to happen, Master?"

"SevenEx, is the refueling and restocking complete?"

A series of whistles and beeps told Treezago that it had.

"Good. Pre-flight check indicates no abnormalities. All systems show nominal. Activate Repulsors, and take us up."

A low hum began under the main fuselage of the Fett's Revenge and the Starfighter slowly lifted off of the landing pad. Majestically the Revenge slid upwards through the clouds and entered orbit.

"SevenEx, you're sure that there has been no reply of any kind to our message?" More whistles, and a sad sounding beep came through Treezago's headset. " I was afraid of that. Even after all these years the Fett name still strikes terror into too many hearts. Hopefully the day will come when I can change that fact. I may not be able to ever make up for what my fellow Clones did, but maybe I can show people that not even all Clones are cut from the same cloth. Very well, for now set course for Correllia. Our new ship should be ready by the time we get there, and I have a crew too hire."

Turning swiftly on sublight Drive, the Revenge shot out of orbit. Moments later her dual core Hyperdrive reached out and twisted Space, and the Revenge vanished in a burst of Coriolis light. At her top speed of .6 past light, Correl was a mere 5 days journey away.

SevenEx brought up the skematics for thier new Starship. Pre-paid for, and designed by Treezago himself, the ship had been expensive. Luckily Treezago was one of the wealthiest Bounty Hunters ever to have graced the skies. Even after spending nearly 120 million credits on the Seeker, he still had far more than would be needed to hire the crew of 52, including the 7 pilots that would be needed, to run and fight thier newest toy. And, even better, noone would ever expect the old style ship to have it's speed, fighting capibilty, or, best yet, fighter complement. With the 3 other highly modified X-Wings and the 4 advanced A-Wings Treezago had commissioned to be built, the Seeker would be the most heavily armed and armored ship of her class ever to come out of any shipyard anywhere. The only problem SevenEx could see would be hiring a Ship's Captain that had the right mix of talent and skill to run such a powerfull ship. SevenEx could have chuckled to himself, had he the Vocoder needed to do so. As it was, he merely let out a satisfied sigh. Yes, life could be good for a fully sentient Astromech in the company of the likes of such greatness as his friend.

Vin Indra (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9252154&postcount=188) didn't have to stare at the holocron secretly locked deep within his chambers. He could feel it staring at him, tempting him from behind lock and key.

Vin (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9252154&postcount=188) shook off his paranoia and rose to his feet. There was no point in meditating now, his mind was far too scattered. Only combat training brought him focus anymore, and yet he could not simply fight or spar constantly. The others were weary enough of him.

He was already sick of this place. Vin (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9252154&postcount=188) was never fond of temples, schools, or zoos as he often called them. Saturated by the mediocricy surrounding him, Vin (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9252154&postcount=188) often kept to himself, a decision that was fine with the rest of the Academy as well.

Still, he mused, putting on his robes that were noticably darker than everyone else's, he was sent here on assignment, and disobeying the Order was not an option. Walking out of his quarters, a lightsaber hung on his belt on either side, Vin (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9252154&postcount=188) approached the headmaster.

"Master," Vin (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9252154&postcount=188) said, folding his hands together and bowing before the man. "I have come, on assignment, to teach in this Academy. I have already settled into my living quarters and I am wondering...what lessons will I be giving?"

"Agreed, Master," Vin replied, bowing once again before heading off towards the training room. There were over seven forms of lightsaber combat he had to brush up on, as well as different styles of lightsabers he had to excell with.

Vin had been using one-handed sabers rather exclusively for nearly three years now, and while he was more than competant while wielding two sabers, and often used two-handed strikes during combat, it had been a long time since he last wielded a polearm, or used basic combat forms for that matter.

He would have to observe his class to find their strengths and weaknesses, Vin told himself as he walked towards the training rooms, hoping that some one was inside. Fighting was a release for Vin, and he wanted to start his job as soon as possible.

Adina Clovis sat on her bed, smiling as the mattress bounced up and down. The student quarters at this academy were nicer than anywhere she's ever lived. She just knew this was the right place to be, she didn't even have to sense it.

Unpacking her few things from her pack, Adina hummed to herself, placing flowers that she had picked on the trip here in a vase beside her bed. They had withered a bit due to the long trip, and weren't exactly vibrant.

Closing her eyes and touching the flowers, Adina concentrated as hard as she could, channeling her force into the flower. As she opened her eyes, the plant was once again in full bloom and a smile spread across her soft face.

Doning her robes, Adina left her quarters, making her way to the training rooms. She wasn't bad at combat by any means, but then again, she wasn't exactly good by Jedi standards either.

"These are the training rooms, aren't they?" Adina asked, hoping she wasn't in the wrong place. "I was hoping to...well...train." Vin smiled slyly.

"Perhaps, Zadeth, a demonstration is in order," Vin said, holding his lightsaber at his side with his right hand only as he usually did. "Adina, was it?" he asked. Adina nodded in response. "Adina, I want you to spar me." Adina looked half sick.

"Me?" She stammered. "I...I'm just a padawan...and you know..."

"Please," Vin asked in an awkward way that sounded much like an order. Adina nodded and ignited her purple saber, grasping it with two hands. "I give the first move to you," he said, smiling.

Adina nodded once more, raising her lightsaber to an attacking position and stepping towards the Jedi Knight before her. Stretching out his left hand, Vin effortlessly lifted her into the air with the force.

"As you see, Zadeth," Vin instructed to the somewhat shocked padawan, an odd smile across his face. "The Force is your weapon...a lightsaber is merely a tool." Vin squinted his eyes and Adina's lightsaber fell from her hand. "Nevertheless, what is a tailor without his needle and thread."

A strained look on her face, Adina was carefully lowered to the ground, right before Vin's feet. She looked up, only to be met with the end of Vin's blade mere inches from her face. Gasping, she jerked back away from the light.

"I sense fear within you, padawan," Vin said to Adina.

"I sense pride within you," Adina shot back, noticably shaken. Vin scowled.

"You are out of order, my young friend!" Vin snarled. He was a Knight, and he damn well was going to be treated as such. "Be cautious of your senses and weary of your emotions, padawan," he said, relaxing his face. "They will betray you..."

"As you can or cannot see, Zadeth," Vin continued with the instructions. "Adina here is practicing the first form of lightsaber combat, or Shii-Cho, 'the way of the sarlacc.' This is the basic form which all Jedi padawans are taught in the beginning of their training. She also seems to show that she is beginning to study the third form, Soresu, or 'way of the Mynock.' It is a highly defensive form, weak in its attack and oppertunistic in nature."

"I...I made one move..." Adina said, standing up. "How could you tell all that?"

"You're only a padawan," Vin explained. "So Shii-Cho was obvious. Also, the stance you took when trying to attack me was one of the first learned by a student of Soresu. You were expecting to parry off my attacks before I got too cocky and lost focus, slipping up...and giving you a chance to embarass me. I was aggressive and took the fight into my own hands, on my own terms, and easily came out victorious."

"What form are you?" Adina asked, intrigued. This Knight had guessed her style completely. Vin smiled.

"Form seven," he replied. "Juyo, or 'way of the vornskr.' Juyo is a blend of all the forms before it, but specifically forms four and five. It is aggressive like the fifth, yet not as defensive, and movement-based like the fourth, but not as fancy or elaborate. It is very bold, direct, and extremely Force-based. The sheer physical intensity of Juyo requires the drawing upon a deep well of emotion and thus a tremendous amount of focus is needed for control."

"I've heard it is an extremely dangerous form as well," Adina said, nevertheless impressed. "Often a form used by the dark side..."

"If the user lacks the necessary amount of focus and willpower," Vin replied, his mind drifting to his lack of clarity as of late. Not wanting to discuss the dark side any longer, Vin turned back to Zadeth. "In combat," he said. "What is it that you stress?"

Sey figures out what exatly his path should be as a Jedi, after studing many books in the archives, he has chosen the one he wishes to acheive. Form IV (Ataru) seems best to fit his athletic nature and acrobatic racial traits. Also his strong sense of the force will also aid in Form IV. He also wishes to use the Jar'Kai (double-blade wielding) form as well as IV. He thinks these two should make him a dangerous aponent in battle and also fit is personality very well.

Walking past the training room in anticipation of the posting of teacher to student he notices new people in the room.He watches as a knight raises a padawan into the air and points his saber inches away from her face. He watches the unorthodox teaching ways of this new person and quickly remembers quotes in the archives about such teachings and how it leads to the darkside. Four and a half more days, thought Treezago. I must sleep.

SevenEx turned back to his game of HoloMonstrosities. OK 2, MOFF'S RANCOR TO BLUE'S DIANOGA 3. CORNERED.

SevenEx2 had to think this move through. If he moved his Lord's Witch to Dianoga 2 it would block the Corner, but leave his Princess vulnerable. What to do? Ah, ha, moving his Moff's right Rancor would also block the move, and give him the chance to advance his 2nd rank Jawa into Morphing range. But would SevenEx1 be looking for that? Well, well, SevenEx1 did not have a Witch in position to capture his newly aquired Princess, but she would be able to move out to Yellow's moff's Dianoga7 and put 1's Moff in Corner. As long as 1 didn't see the possiblity of moving his Jedi into Dianoga 4, it could work. And, if 1 did move his Jedi into Dianoga 4, that would leave 2's Wookie free to move into Witch 4, letting him capture 1's Jawa3 and putting his Moff in Corner, level 2. Good......

Still walking around the academy Master Wescolum decided to walk into the training quarters. He was sure that he would find some worthy in there. As he walked into the room he so Jedi Knight Vin teaching a young girl in a vivid way. He was surprised to learn that he was not the only master of the Seventh Form of Lightsaber Combat still living. He could easily tell the Vin had just recently mastered the style though. He decided to approach the group.

He walked up to trainer and his trainees and said "Hello my name is Den Wescolum and I have noticed that you are training and I would like to join you in helping to teach the young ones lightsaber combat. Would you be interested in having a, how should I say it 'practice duel'?"

Master Wescolum then pulled out his lightsaber and extended it's luminant blade. "Shall we?", said the suddenly energized voice of the legendary warrior.

"OK SevenEx, I know we're still five days out of Correl, but I think it's time, while we are Hyperspace, to cover-down. Initiate program "Trader"."

One slight whistle, and SevenEx began closing connections and activating switches. Throughout the cockpit of the Revenge began a series of clicks and thuds as the Revenge began her transformation.

Every non-frame-contiguious panel on the Revenge began to either slide out of the way, or flip over. THe nosecone of the Revenge shortened and widened slightly. THe IFF box, highly illegal and known as a Black-Box, switched over to read out a new, completely valid, ID code, registered out of Duros. Thus was reborn the Searcher. While the Revenge was a ship of Matte Black, so deep in hue as to be nearly invisible in the depths of space, the Searcher was a flamboyant vessal, high Gloss Red with highlights of Flat Black and brilliant polished Platinum. Many had wondered at why a trader would chose a Starfighter as his Vessel, until they realized that the normal cargo capacity of an X-Wing class fighter had been doubled, from 2 cubic meters and 110 KGs to 4 cubic meters and 215 KGs. Dealing only in one type of cargo, the Searcher carried enough of it's haul to make it's Master rich.

Treezago laid back the cockpit seat of his Starfighter, and began to change into his assumed personality. Off came his Clone-War-Era vintage armor, and on went his Firegem Red Bodysuit. Form fitting in every demension the new suit brought out Heavily cut muscles in his arms, torso, and legs. Still not a large man, it was obvious that this was not a person whom you wanted as an enemy. Every muscle toned to the highest peaks of speed combined with strength, Brin Verrellis was known all over the Correlian system as a trader in Ryl-Spice. He was known to be an expert in several forms of martial arts, and a master marksman with the DL-62 blaster pistol that was always at his side. To date, none of the very few that had ever crossed Brin had survived the attempt. Brin was well respected in the Correl system as a fair man, who never charged more than a client could afford, for the Ryl-Spice he traded in. It was also known that Brin would only trade his spice to people who planned to refine it down for it's medicinal properties, and woe to one who tried to purchase his Spice with the intent of turning it into one of it's highly narcotic Drug forms. While noone knew where Brin obtained his Ryl, all knew that he always seemed to profit by incredible margins, even when selling his Spice at prices most traders would lose money on. Treezago snorted to himself..Ha, if only they knew the true source of my wealth.

Arriving in a New Republic Transport ship to the new academy, Lialai Stone, a newly promoted Jedi Kinght walked into the school. She did not know what expect coming to this new school. She was sent here to instuct younglings in the Ataru style of combat. She was a master of the two styles, Ataru and Soresu and she was learning Juyo/ Vaapad from her master Den Wescolum. That was another reason why she decided to come here so she could train students and be trained but she needed to meet the Headmaster first. She had heard alot of things about Master Blexe but had never met him. She intended on doing that now. While walking through the corridors she found Blexe in a room and walked up to him and said "Hello Master Blexe, I am Jedi Knight Lialai Stone. I don't know if you were expecting me or not, but I am here to help."

After having a good talk about proper academy procedure she went and deposited her things in her study. Now she made her way to the training rooms so that she could see what she was getting herself into.

He turned to leave, intending to follow the Jedi's suggestion and head to the training rooms, then remembered something and turned back.
"Master, I don't have my own lightsabre. If I am to begin proper training, I will need one, won't I? How do I go about getting one?"

He didn't know the answer to the question, but he did vaguely remember one master suggesting that the first thing a Padawan did after being taken on by a senior Jedi was to build their lightsabre. If this was to be the case, Taan had absolutely no idea how to go about it. Despite this, he was determined to give it his best shot.

Raist was feeling slightly down. He had been sent here to learn dicipline, and within the first few hours of his arrival he had been caught with one of the masters belongings. He wasn't down because he wasn't showing a good example of himself, he was more down because he had been caught. Noone had ever caught him before, he had always been too fast, people could not even see him as he purlioned things he found interesting, but somehow these masters could tell with a glance what he had done. It confused and slightly depressed him. It was not that he was a thief he thought defensively, he just found alot of things facinating and wanted a better look, he was always intending to give back the scanner and strange herbs. He went into a room he found to be devoid of people and sat down unhappily, the masters had told him was was very old to be accepted into the academy, and it would be good for him to be apprenticed quickly, but after being scolded infront of everyone he doubted any jedi knight would like to take him on as a student.
'Well, at least the food is better here' He said to himself looking on the bright side, back home he lived in a poor mountain dwelling village that made its living by working raw metals into tools for the lowlanders, he had never got much to eat as a teenager and he had always been hungry

A ship has just landed at the hanger bay. Two Jedi and a dragon departed the ship and headed to the academy itself. They were Taylor and Jacen Masaki, cousins. The dragon was Ryujin, Jacen's current familiar. Taylor had long blond hair that was braided down to the shoulders and he wears a black tunic and pants and a red cloak. The tunic's back had a flame symbol on it. He also wore combat boots and a pair of white ignition-gloves on his hands. (If you know who Edward Elric of FMA fame is, you know what he looks like. His twin brother looks like Alphonse.)

Taylor also has two artificial limbs: his right arm and his left leg. There was a nasty duel with a darksider and he lost the original limbs, although he burned the enemy to death in the process.

Jacen, on the other hand wore a blue cloak. Underneath was a darker navy blue tunic and pants, and he wears waterproof boots. The tunic had a symbol for water on the back. His hair was short and black, just the way he likes it.

The dragon Ryujin perched atop Jacen's shoulders was a small Silver Dragon with fire, ice, and lightning breath powers as well as his species' powerful spells. He's the Prince of the Core Dragons, but doesn't like to announce it. His size was so that he could go among people without scaring them. But he has another ability to travel among the 'small people' as dragons put it...

The dragon hopped off and transformed into a handsome young man with silver hair and clothing, and a silver-bladed lightsaber strapped to his side. In his human form, only other dragons and Jedi Council Masters could sense his true form.

The threesome headed into the Academy itself, carrying bags of clothes and stuff.

"Well, cuz, here we are." Taylor smiled. "Draconis Nightcrawlis' own Jedi Academy."

"Cool place." Jacen looked around. "I'll check out the training rooms."

"Yeah, there's always students there." Ryujin said. The two headed over to the training rooms.

"As for me..." Taylor smirked, putting his arms behind his neck. "Let's see what the King is up to..."

The Jedi Knight went off to look for his late brother's old friend...

Taan nodded his understanding, he was familiar with the 'learner lightsabre' given to younglings to practise with, the so-called 'stunstick'. The response had also confirmed that the young Togruta would have to build his own lightsabre, which he would now attempt to do research into exactly how he was supposed to do so.

"Thank you, Master," he said, then began to leave. A leaf landed on his shoulder, and he glanced up. Suddenly, more leaves were falling towards them, and they caught fire. Taan ducked instictively, then the leaves were blown away by someone's Force powers.

Spotting the grinning face of what was presumably the one responsible for the burning leaves, Taan dashed forward a few steps and grabbed a sturdy branch from the ground. The branch came up in his grip in a manner similar to that of a lightsabre, ready to fight. His hands were tight around the branch, and his teeth bared.

Deep down, he knew he stood no chance against what appeared to be a full Jedi Knight, especially since he was only armed with a piece of wood, but his natural aggression had overridden logical thought.

If Taan had been older and more experienced, the comments from the Jedi he was facing down would have shocked him. Jedi weren't supposed to mistreat or provoke Padawans, no matter how aggressive they were. If anything was going to put them on a path to the Dark Side, that would. Also, playing pranks was hardly responsible behaviour for a Jedi.

However, Taan was only 11 years old, and knew only a little of how Jedi were supposed to behave, except that they were supposed to be the upholders of peace, or something like that.

He remained where he was, unsure which voice to follow. One was telling him to try and smash the other's face in, regardless of the chances of success. The other was telling him to follow the advice of the masters, and back down. He didn't like the probable result of the first choice, but his pride wouldn't let him take the second choice.

His eyes darted from one person to another, waiting to see what would happen. Strangely enough, he felt no fear (which would please the masters if they ever found out), so he just stood there, the branch rock steady in his grip.

She was walking down the hall when she saw that she was walking down a corridor that she had never been in before. She decided to do a little exploring. She walked through the big doors at the end of the hallway and ended up in the library. She said to herself that she might as well research the Form VII while she was there. She read over everything that she already knew and read some the Mace Windu journals. Still bored after that she decided to mess around with her lightsaber. Alimar Loatharo-Pranil focused his main eyes on Odcal and Kurtwhile his two other eyes kept swiveling about. I understand. Andalites have no difficulty since we use telepathy but I have found that species that use mouths have difficulty pronouncing our names. You may call me Alimar
Kurt smiled. "Yes it is," he said. "I am King Kurt II, welcome to Wundagore Jedi Academy."
Hello King Kurt II, I have been searching for a long time to find a place like this. When are classes going to start? Who shall be my teacher?

Raist blinked at the newcomer, he felt very confused. His old village was rather secluded and so he had never seen an Andalite before
'Um, hello...er, my name is Raist' He smiled and offered a hand, but the question burning in his mind was
Why are you blue? Nevertheless everyone was always telling him he was too blunt, so he bit the question back.

At that same time.

The Correllian system, just outside the orbit of the Kuat Systems construction docks.

"Well SevenEx, there it is. KS-3d. Look, there, in the second level docks. That must be Seeker." Treezago couldn't help but smile to himself at his first view of his newest toy.

Bulky, and yet at the same time streamlined, the Seeker hung, balanced perfectly in the center of the grid of construction scaffolds. Her Command and Control section gleamed a deep and sedate burnished red, her main hull and drive sections primarily a bright blue, trimmed out in platinum. Even from a distance she could be seen to be bristling with heavy weapons platforms. Longer and wider than a standard A-class Bulk Cruiser, from which her basic hull had been taken, the Seeker was ship with many secrets. Her drive section was nearly 1/3rd larger than on a normal Bulk Cruiser, giving her the speed and manuverability of a Corvette class ship less than a 10th her size. Her hyperdrive had been improved, giving her a top speed of .5 past light, .2 points higher than any Bulker that had gone before her. And hidden deep inside, where her cargo hold had been, the Kuat Systems crews had instead installed a small Starfighter bay.

"SevenEx, take us in."

Mere moments later the Starfighter slid gently into the Starbay reserved for Kuat Systems most powerfull civilian clients.

Popping the canopy of his fighter, Brin climbed out of his most prized possesion. SevenEx activated his deboarding system, and was tossed out of his Astromech Interface slot. Activating his onboard repulsors he settled to the deck.

As Brin and SevenEx walked away from thier fighter, a Corellian businessman approached them.

"Most Noble sir, I present myself formally into your presence. I take it I have the honor of addressing one Captain Brin?"

"You do, Yardmaster Sal-Solo. As you well know. What's with all of this formality Bail?"

Laughing hartily Bail Sal-Solo grabbed his old friend by the shoulder. " Sorry buddy, but it's not every day I meet with a man to turn over 120 million Credits worth of Starship. Negotiating this contract raised my star high and fast in the Kuat Systems Board of Directors eyes. You may not realize it, but the price for this ship alone increased Kuat Systems profits by almost a full percent this year. Add into that the .5 percent increase in profits generated by the construction of your special fighters, and that kind of money makes even the hardest Company CEO sit up and take notice. Sithspawn, but my commision alone was nearly enough for me to retire on and live a life of luxury, and I only get .25% of a total sale. You, my oldest and dearest friend, are the shining star in Kuat's crown this year."

Brin couldn't help but smile. " Good, my friend. I hate to seem to be in a hurry, but please, take me to my ship. 2 long years it took your enginners to build her...I am eager to see if my concept for a new Starship worked as well in life as it did on paper."

Walking swiftly, the trio of beings, two carbon based, one mechanical, moved towards the turbovators.

Hello Taylor Masaki. Hello Raist. How do you do? Alimar had a large group around him but he was used to it. Not many people knew about Andalites and those that did were still interested in his unique physical makeup. Alimar was feeling a little hungry from the long ride and the enclosed space of the fighter so he started grazing on the grass. This food is good he told Kurt. It is tasty, although it is a little plain.

As the trio entered the Turbovator, Bail looked at Brin.

"By the way old pal, I wanted to tell you, there was a minor addition to your contract while you were away, at no charge. Because of the huge size of your Astromech purchase, Kuat Systems has decided to give you one free Protocol Class droid for every 10 R-Units. Right now the 24 P-Units are already abaord. They have only been given basic programming so far, 3 million languages each, and each has full ettiqutte protocols for 10 seperate systems, no system duplicated. We have set up a drawing account of 250,000 credits to be used to upgrade the P-Units any way you see fit. We strongly suggest that you keep between 4 and 10 of them banked as a control network for the R-Units but what you do with the rest is entirely up to you."

"Well, well, the famous Kuat generosity comes through again I see. I can tell you right now what to do with the P-Units. Take 10 of them and set them up as that control network you so kindly suggest. Make sure each has full skematics for both the Seeker and her fighters. Install them in that storage closet just abaft of the Owners Cabin, accross from the Captain's Stateroom. Take 12 of the others, ennamel them in white to match the Seeker's interior, and program and arm them as Guardian units, full standard anti-boarding and defense packages. Let's see, hmmm, yes give each of those 12 a built in Stunner, a Shockstun net projector, and whatever class of Heavy Blaster pistol you have immeadiatly available. Take the other 2 and ennamel one in Red, the other in Black, and upgrade them to full translation-protocol droid status, with emphisis on Fringe systems languages and history. If the total cost overruns the 250,000 credit, let me know and I'll cover the overage with cash."

"Very good, sir. Those upgrades can be completed by the time you return with your crew to pick up your Ship. ANd now, here we are, Docking Slip 1138. I do hope after your inspection you find her to be fully satisfactory. I would hate to have to terminate any construction crews because you found a flaw. Oh, and before I forget, you may notice fairly quickly that the Subspace Drive section is slightly smaller than shown on the design sketmatics origianally given to us. This is due to upgrades in the systems that occured after the design phase. We managed to drop nearly 20 Tons off of her Gross Weight, while improving her acceleration by almost 5 gravities, and her manuerveabilty by about 10%. I hope you don't mind?"

"Oh, no Bail, I don't mind that at all. My idea with this ship was to create the fastest, most heavily armed ship of her class. Her prime function after all is going to be to hunt down pirates that have been preying on civilian ships for the past few years. I lost several important trading partners to those scum, and I want payback. I may be a nice guy, but this nice guy has been pushed to far, and the New Republic can't always be thier to help the little guys."

Several hours later.

"Well, Bail, you can relax. Niether SevenEx or myself can find any flaws in this beauty. Your construction crews have done you proud.

"COme on SevenEx, we have a crew to go hire."

On the planet Correllia, in the Correl system.

"Ladies and Gentlemen and Others, you all know why you are here. You are the best Starfighter pilots in the Correl system, that are not already attached to another unit. I have need of 14 pilots, that's 2 shifts of 7, to fly both point defense and assault offense for a new unit.

Stepping down the Corridor, Brin looked at the door to the next conference room. Here would be his greatest choice.

Opening the door, he stepped through.

Five Humans stood far apart from each other in the medium sized room. None was closer than 3 meters form his nearest companion. Each of these people wore highly distinctive outfits, none quite a uniform, but each having the attributes of various uniforms form around the Galaxy. One was decked out what had once been a Corporate Sector Commanders uniform, one in the remains of a full Captain's uniform from the Empire, including several of the Empire's highest medals. In the corner stood a man, tall and thin. His old form uniform dated from the earliest beginning of the Rebellion. In basic form it's apperance was that of an old Aldaraanian General, with accents drawn from the first years of the Dantooinian Revolt.

Treezago/Brin looked on this disparate group of Men, and wondered which of these great people would end up being the Captain of the Seeker. Only these people had shown the needed skills and temperment to command his new ship. One of them would end up holding all of Treezago/Brin's destiny in thier hands. But which one?

One of these Men would end up becomming his second in Command. How to judge the exact dynamics...Who here would be willing to subvert his own desire for command to bow to one of the others herein, to be Second to anothers First, in order to gain greater glory?

"Vin!" a feminine voice called out from the hallway. The man who she called for was in no mood for small talk. Vin was en route to his quarters after disappointing many a Jedi for not sparring those in the training rooms, and he didn’t need anyone else giving him something to do or someone to think of. He simply wanted to be alone. “Vin, wait up!”

Of course he didn’t, instead slightly increasing the speed in which he walked. Vin could sense the being behind the voice and now he was sure he did not wish to talk. He had experienced enough of her silly bickering for one day. Nevertheless, she caught up to him.

“Master Indra?” Adina asked, tapping him on the shoulder. Vin turned around, acknowledging that he was, in fact, himself, as she suspected. He was also only a knight, but while her calling him a master could be either a mistake or simply a sign of respect, he was not about to correct her. “I would like to apologize,” she said, and Vin felt the wall that he had built up begin to lower, his mood relaxing. “The things I said back there…they were heated words during combat…nothing more. I’ve heard about that Sith…and what you showed me today…you’re obviously a gifted warrior.”

“Be mindful of what you say, padawan,” Vin replied in his monotone yet slightly arrogant way he usually did, leaving out the word ‘young’ which often came before ‘padawan’ in such discussions. She was nearly the same age that he was. “Words carry much weight in this existence.”

“You’re right,” Adina responded, bowing her head. “I should be more careful.” After a short pause, she rose her head, looked him in the eyes, and continued. “You never did get to see my skills with a saber.”

“I saw what I needed to,” Vin replied. “Your enemy would have done the same thing that I did. I know what I need to work on with you…no further demonstration is needed. Besides, a Jedi does not flaunt his or her ability. Pride is a path to the dark side.” He cringed, realizing that she had sensed pride in him not even an hour ago. Sure Vin had criticized her for her intuition, but she was hardly wrong, and he was hardly a perfect Jedi example.

“Sorry, Master,” Adina said, bowing her head once more. “I did not intend to…”

“Why do you continue to call me ‘Master’?” Vin interrupted, ignoring his previous thoughts on both not wanting to talk and not wanting to correct her mistake. “I am but a Jedi Knight.”

“Wishful thinking, perhaps,” She smiled. “You’re skilled enough to be a Master.”

“But not old enough,” Vin replied, feeling himself give her a smile in return. “And not wise enough. Wisdom extends far beyond lightsaber skill.”

“Do you have a padawan?” Adina asked, tilting her head to the side in an inquisitive manner, her beautiful hair falling down over her shoulders.

“No,” Vin said with a hint of relief. “I do not.”

“Interesting,” the padawan before him replied. “…I don’t have a master. You wouldn’t be interes…”

“No,” Vin responded, cutting Adina off again. After a short while, he gathered himself. “Nothing against you…Adina was it?” she nodded, sort of unhappily. “I just haven’t the time. I have myself to worry about…improving my skills and thoughts…and I have an important class to prepare for. Besides,” Vin said. “We’re quite different Jedi.”

“Exactly,” Adina continued, almost begging. “I thought we would compliment each other quite well.”

With that, Vin shook his head once more and bid his goodbyes. As he entered his room, he cursed her. She was right…yet again…

Catching up with Vin, Den began to talk to the Knight. "Vin you know that padawan was correct about saying that you were skilled enough to be a master like Master Blexe and I. Age is nothing but a number. You can become a master whenever. Age does not determine whether you become a master, your wisdom through the Force does. I can see you now being on the council. You have a great future ahead of you. Keep working on your Juyo skills and then come talk to me when you think you are ready." Den walked away from the Knight and ran into his former padawan Lialai Stone.

"Greetings Master" said Lialai cheerfully as she walked out of the dining hall. "I have been wanting to talk to you about something." "Even now, most of you will be thinking to yourselves, ' WHy are we here?'. The fact is, I have need of some of you.

"Above us, even now, waits one of the most advanced Starships ever to come off of the Correllian lines. That ship belongs to me. But, my talents lie not in the area of Starship command. I am a Warrior, both in personal combat, and in Starfighter battle. I require two men. One to command my ship, and one to act as his First. My place will be as Wing Commander, and Operations Officer. I will decide the target and Ops objective, those that I hire here today will devise the how.

" I do not make this offer lightly. THe eight of you here have been chosen not only because of your ability to Command a Capital class starship, but also for your loyalty to the bergoning New Republic. The missions we will undertake will primarily involve assisting in the defense of, and when needed offense for, the New Republic's greatest asset, the New Jedi Order.

"Gentlemen, I can not chose the men I need. You, here assembled, must make that choice for me. Each of you knows all of the others. You must look within yourselves and find the Captain and First Officer I need. Let not pride dictate your thoughts this day, but instead let your honor and loyalty to the ideals of freedom and peace be your guide.

"Let all here know, I would be greatly appriciative if I could hire all eight of you. I can envision the eight of you working as 2 teams of Four, each team to hold a Captain, a First, a Second, and a Duty Officer. My ship would have more than enough room for all of you.

"Trouble," Kurt told him. "That's all you need to know, she is trouble."

The King let out a long sigh, he'd heard talk of people saying she was Talia, his sister. He never believed a word of it but then there had been something vaugly familiar about her. Kurt pushed that thought out of his mind.

Den meditated in his room for some time after talking to his former apprentice. It seemed that she was controlling her Juyo/ Vaapad form pretty well but there still was that chance that she could lose control. The master would have to watch over her. Then the master began searching his memory for who he thought could get alond with Lialai the best. He first thought of the twins but thought that their personalities and Lialai's wouldn't fit. He had not had conversation with any of the students except Lialai but he could tell from how they came off to be that it wouldn't work. Then he remembered hearing about a young thief in the school. Raist was his name. He was a thief but he had alot of potential. Den decided to seek out this boy. Before he left his room a messenger arrived for him. It was from the Jedi Council on Corusant. In it was a detailed message telling about the capture of two men at another academy. They mentioned a Lady Nocturne. From visiting other worlds through his time traveling skills he had learned that a Lady Nocturne had once been defeated in battle and her ship had been blown up. He did not she had survived but believed she hadn't. He knew that this could spell trouble.

Saying to himself that he would think about this message later he decided to leave to find the Padawan called Raist.

After talking with her Master Lialai left to so that she could talk and get to know some of the other students. She had known a couple of Andalites when she was little so she decided to start with Alimar. She thought to herself, "Now where is the big, blue furry guy?".

In one of the training rooms Raist was juggling two small metal globes that had fallen into his pocket. People should be careful he though, or some thief might take them away. He made a note to give them back to thier owners, it was a good job he was around to make sure nobody lost anything. The academy was an interesting place, he got a bed of his own, free food, and so far he hadn't had to carry anything for anyone. He was a little puzzled about who Lady Nocturnal- somthing like that -was, and everyone seemed hesitant to tell him. She must not like publicity he decided.

After Odcal finished his meal he went up to his room. He didn't like the thought that Lady Nocturne might return. If she had escaped an exploding ship she would be trouble if she came here. In the meanwhile Odcal worked on a secret project.

Alimar went outside to practice his tail fighting abilities in the woods. His tail was not very strong but he was still young, and his parents had promised to give him nanite enhancements when he grew up. In the meantime, he had to try and get stronger through "determination, vigilance, and practice" as his old teacher put it.

Kurt headed outside to think in the clear cool air. This was bad, very bad if Lady Nocturne were back. Thinking about it, perhaps these two man just refused to believe that she had been defeated and was now pretty much dead. In that case they would have been acting under someone elses orders. The King sighed, this was most worrying.

Zadeth headed to the recreational room and sat down to watch the telly.

'Wow...th- thanks you master!' He felt elated! He had been chosen to be a padawan!
Raist stared wide eyed at the arrangement of components infront of him. He walked along beside the rows upon rows of crystals and hilts....he felt somthing was reaching out for him, but he couldn't quite pick it out among his other thoughts.....
He began to reach for a yellow crystal, but he drew his hand back after a feeling of wrongness that he couldn't explain washed over him. He tried another one, red colour, but the same disturbing feeling again. He looked back at his new master despairingly, but he turned back to the array. An idea came to mind even though he couldn't explain it. When he was back in his home village he used to be the luckiest boy for miles around. He could pick the right card out of three without error, and when he randomly chose a cup it would alwayss be the one with the token underneath. So he closed his eyes and let his hand reach out infront of him of it's own violation. His hand hovered over the display of components and after a while he felt a cold solid edged object clutched in his palm. When he opened his hand he saw a blue glow coming from his clenched fist, and when he opened it he saw he had chosen two glittering blue crystals. They felt so right resting in his palm, so he put them aside in a space away from the rest to be used. Next he looked along the rows of hilts. One caught his eye, it was a simple straight piece, with a slight flat extension recurving back to the wielder to fit the bottom of the hand comfortably. He quickly chose two of the same and gathered up the crystals.
'I think....I think these are right master...' He looked for approval of his selections.

Master Wescolum looked down at the padawan's selection. A jedi could always tell who a jedi was by his sword. The young man had chosen to build two lightsabers. They both would have a blue blade. The blue that he picked stood for Guardian. This one would be a fighter. Den was very happy that his student had chosen this color. Then Raist had selected two platinum curved hilts that was helpful for easy swordsmanship. This young warrior was very promising indeed. Den then picked up the boys hilts and said "Well I think that your lightsaber hilt needs some customization. Pulling two dark blue sapphire stones out of his inner pockets, he told the boy "These should go well with your hilts." Using the Force to deform the metal in the hilts, Wescolum placed the stones into the base of the swords. He then gave the boy back his sabers and gave him specific instructions on how to place his stones into the hilt of the lightsaber. He explained that certain stones did certain things and that he could change his blade whenever he wanted. After he was finished he sat down and told the padawan to go to the table and make his saber.

Raist looked on at his masters work in amazement, and then hurried over to the table. He looked down at the components and it seemed as if his lightsabres were already there, he just had to....put the parts on somthing that was already there.
They should be light....fast parries and movement
He had no idea how he knew this, but he adjusted somthing in the emittor accordingly
The length....
He picked up the hilts and held them out by his sides. He twirled them in his hands experimentally and them gripped them tight again
Yes...
After a few more hours of tinkering he finally put down his tools and picked up the finished pieces. He had etched a few designs on the sides, small but it was comforting that they were there. He had made them his own as much as he could right down to the artwork on the sides, and he finally knew that what he held in his hands was his without question. He pressed the switch at the base carefully and two beams of light extended with a buzz of energy.

Taylor awoke from his nap and blinked his sleep away. Then he stretched himself. Now what am I going to do today...

He launched himself higher up the tree he slept in to look around. There was the Andalite talking with a girl. Ryujin practicing his sword movements and Jacen swimming in the nearby lake. Taylor smirked. Let's see how good you are, Jacen!

He sped through the forest, jumping from tree branch to tree branch until he reached the lake. He manipulated his hands into hand-seals to build up energy...then released it like a tiny nuclear bomb.

"Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!" He reverbrated, sending forth a large fireball from his mouth. Water immediately vanished in a cloud of steam, alerting Jacen, who dove underneath the surface to avoid the searing fire.

Oh no you don't, Cousin! Jacen formed his own handseals in retaliation, and the water around him swirled upwards. "Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu!"

The surface of the lake swirled in a strong whirlpool, then shot upwards to form a waterspout. But this was no ordinary waterspout, for it formed into the shape of a powerful dragon. It roared and charged forth for Taylor.

"Oh crap!" Taylor ran to the side and jumped out of the way of the dragon's 'mouth', but was knocked off his feet by the force of water and nearly carried away.

Jacen surfaced to survey the damage he caused and smirked as he walked out of the lake. "Water beats fire every time Taylor! How many is it now...ten to one?"

The older boy spat out a stream of water from his mouth and warmed up himself to dry off. "I'll get you next time, kid!"

"Hey, don't call me kid. I'm only four years younger than you!"

"Therefore, I can call you a kid!" Taylor shot back with a grin.

"Not if I can help it!" Jacen sent some mud at his elder cousin and they began fighting at the lake, resuming their short duel.

A small office on Correl.

"Allow me to make introductions, as if any were needed." Brin leaned back in his chair, fully comfortable.

" Captain Daris Rees, commander of the Starship Seeker, I give you your First Officer, Perrin Gavarin."

The two men, the first in his older style style Aldaraanian General's Uniform and the second in his First Republic Flight Commander's flight suit, looked at each other with mixed emotions. Each knew that they were the best at what they did, but the two had been at odds many times before. Daris, despite his Aldaraanian backround beliveing in peace through strength, and Perrin, a highly aggressive former fighter jock.

Brin ( Treezago) looked at these men with a gleem in his eye. On the face of it, these two would never be able to work together. Thier backrounds were too different, thier world views to disparate. And yet, Brin knew, that these two men would soon become fast friends. All they needed was a common goal, and mutual respect. The respect was there, Brin meant to give them that common goal.

Brin smiled to himself. His flight crew for the seeker was shaping up nicely. THe basic crew was hired. Now he had his command crew. Of the eight men originally interviewed, 6 had hired on. Captain, First, Second, Flight Ops, 2 Starship Pilots, and Security were assurred. His fighter pilots were onboard. Now, all he needed was his EngineRoom command staff. He needed three men, but could get by with two. The main engineering staff, 2 petty officers, and 4 Grunt workers had already been hired. Now, he needed to seek out the most qualified Tinkerers he could find. He had his eye on a couple of people, but so far, none had stood out as his Chief Engineer.

TIme was growing short. Rumors he'd heard said that Lady Nocture had already sent one scouting mission to Kurt's new Training Temple. Brin needed to get his crew finallized and get his ship on station to defend Wundragore, before the Dark Lady atackked. The Knoctal Facet, even now when it was thousands of KMters away, hidden in his fighter, demanded that Brin get to Wundragore as soon as possible.

The Force moved in mysterious ways. He would be there, he swore to himself. Wundragore would be the decideing factor in the comming war. It's trainees and Jedi would tip the balance in this galaxy. He needed to be there. The Wundragore Academy could not fail..lest the New Republic fail.

" After watching how fast Raist had built his lightsaber he was very pleased with his padawan. "He will be a great jedi" said the master to himself.

The seventh lightsabre form: Form VII was an incomplete form for millennia. It was further developed by Jedi Master Mace Windu, who could complete it with his Vaapad fighting style. The most challenging and demanding of all forms, Form VII requires intense focus, high levels of skill, and mastery of other forms
Rasit paused in his reading. Master Wescolum had told him that his other student was particularly gifted in this form, but Raist didn't particularly like the sound of it, since it came with all the risks of going to the dark side.
"I don't even want to risk it" He decided. He tried another page
The third lightsabre form: Form III was originally developed to counteract the advancing blaster technology throughout the galaxy. Those to whom the Jedi were mainly opposed usually wielded blasters now; the Jedi needed to find a method to defend that could not be replicated or be counteracted by the Jedi's blaster-wielding enemies.
Raist pondered this for a second, it seemed like an attractive idea.....
No, he would feel restless in that form, he knew it. He needed a from where he could feel what he was doing, where he could let himself be more involved in what he was doing with each move. He looked around in the book some more until another form caught his eye
The fourth lightsabre form:The master practitioners of Form IV make extensive use of acrobatic maneuvers often thought not physically possible. In dire situations, Form IV practitioners use the Force to aid in their acrobatics. Spinning, jumping and running very high and very fast, masters of Form IV are sometimes only seen as a blur. In order to achieve the acrobatic prowess, amazing reflexes and physical punch of this form, a Jedi Master would focus on the Force, letting it flow deeply throughout his entire physicality, even allowing him to overcome the limitations of old age.
That was the one, he decided. He would take that form and make it his own, incorporated what he felt was right into it since it looked a little too aggressive, but still a good base for his studies. He came out of the library and made his way to the training room where Master Wescolum, and someone he assumed was Lialia was waiting.
"Master, could you teach me the Ateru form? It's the one I would feel best to learn. But perhaps...well, I would like to blend the Ateru and Soresu forms. Since you are a master of all the forms, could you help me try?" He looked hopeful

A small office on Correl

Brin sat at his desk, looking over the files of the top ten Engineers on his list. He had already chosen two people, a Corellian male named Tan Dreklish and a Malastairian female named Treginath to watch over his precious drive units, but he still needed a Chief of Engineering to take charge.

A knock sounded at his door.

"Enter."

In stepped the scruffiest looking Nerf Herder candidate Brin had ever seen. Dressed in leather breeches, a plain white open necked shirt, and black high soft boots, the man standing in front of him was undoubtedly the least impressive person ever to enter his presence. The only distiguishing item Brin could see, and the one thing that caused his eyebrows to raise, was the faded set of once brilliant red Correllian Bloodstripes on the man's breeches. Even though he was not a Coreelian native, Brin knew that for one to earn the Bloodstripe took a great deal of courage, self-sacrifice, and dedication.

Well well, he thought, could this be someone I need to know?

"You Brin Verrelis?" The man asked without preamble.

"Yes."

"Good. My friends down at the Tapcafe said you was looking to hire a top-notch fixer. I'm here to tell you you won't be finding anyone near half as good as old Gareth Icefingers to work your ship. If it ever came off any shipyard, Old Republic, Imperial, New Republic, or Private, I can fix it. If I can't fix it, it can't be fixed. Anything from an old Z-95 Headhunter to one of those new Defender class Star Destroyers, and everything in between."

"OK," said Brin, " But what about normal equipment? Blasters and such?"

" I can fix anything, I told you. If it worked once, I can make it work again."

"Well, let's see." Brin reached under his cloak and withdrew a cylinder, roughly 20 CMters long, and about 4 Cmters around. He tossed it to Gareth. " Can you get that working again?"

Gareth's eye's widened. He looked the cylinder over carefully. After a few moments, he said " Yes, I can make it work again. It' s been heavily damaged. This end piece here has been sheared away. Look's like the cut took out a secondary power generator. But, it appears that the main workings are still functional. Give me, let's see, roughly 4 hours, and a full tool shop, and I should be able to reactivate it."

"Good," Brin replied." Take a shuttle up to my ship. Just tell the pilot you're one of my men, he'll know which ship to take you to. If you can make that device work, you're hired."

Gareth nodded, and walked out of Brin's office. He'd always liked a challange. And he'd only once before had the opportunity to work on one of these. THis one looked like it wouldn't be too hard. The damage, while extensive, was mostly minor.

Later, aboard the Starship Seeker.

Gareth stood in the midst of the best equiped machine shop it had ever been his priviledge to work in. Glancing down, he admired his handywork. The Cylinder given to him by Brin had grown, by nessceity, to nearly 22CMters in length. It' s finish was a matte grey, studded with several small buttons and read-outs. He smiled. Brin would be pleased. Not only had he managed to repair the device, he'd increased it's efficency by 10%, and added a couple of minor surprises.

Brin stepped into the workshop. "Gareth,"he called. "Is it ready?"

"Oh, yes sir, that it is. And a finer working antique you'll never find. Why, I did some test's on this metel while I was working...did you know this baby is nearly 500 years old?" He handed the cylinder to Brin with a smile.

" I knew. This one was handed down for 8 generations, from father to son, until the last owner was killed. What I need to know is, does it work again?"

"Test it yourself, sir."

Brin smiled, and touched the activation stud. Instantly a force blade shot into view. Shimmering and shifting. One moment jade green, the next sky blue.

"What?" Brin asked. "From what I was told, the original color was simply green. Why is it shifting like that?"

"Ah, my captain, I made a minor improvement. See the slide I added just below the activation stud? Slide it down."

Brin looked, and found the new control. He slid the button down towards the base, and as he did, the size of the blade dimminished. Starting out at 1.5 meters, the blade shrank to a mere length of 4 CMters, and lost width until it was almost undetectable.

"Nice,"he answered." Not merely a sword, but a dagger, and a stilletto as well. That could come in handy. Gareth, you are most definatly hired. Welcome to the crew of the "Seeker"."

"Alright. Where's the prisoner." Taylor asked. He began to think of a couple things he might do to get him to talk, ranging from fire illusions to digging into their minds.

"In here," came a voice.

In the darkness the cat looked up at them.

"Hey. Do you know when classes start?" Jacen asked.

"Tomorrow," Zadeth replied, crossing his arms.

Taylor walked in, nodding to the cat who seemed to be guarding the prisoners. "Let's begin."

"Tomorrow," Zadeth replied, crossing his arms.
"Alright." Jacen said, going inside. He'll eat something light before going to bed.

"Adverse reaction to the truth potion," he said.

Taylor merely nodded and sat down on the opposite table. "Hey there." He said to the scruffy man.

Zadeth nodded and headed back inside.
Ryujin followed, having concluded his self-training for the day.

The man didn't do anything, he was completely out cold.

"What did you do with the potion Kazuma?" Kurt demanded, glaring at the young blond man.

Cold silvery eyes looked back at him. "The potion was pure," he protested.

The cat looked towards Kurt. "A guard against anyone trying to get secretive information from this man has rendered him conked out."

"Shit, then right now we only have one suspect who can talk," the King sighed.

Alimar said his evening rituals in private. Then he hid his belongings under a bush and went to sleep on the outer edge of the forest.

Meanwhile, up in the Academy Odcal was just finished working. He gave one more mental push and everything was finished. He put his lightsaber away and looked outside. He could see Alimar sleeping and was reminded of the time. He ordered a small light meal, ate it, and went to sleep.

"Don't worry, I haven't used anything on the other one," Kazuma protested and pointed at the cat. "He bit me when I was about to."

The cat looked up.

"Shadow," Kurt began. "Good idea, come on Taylor we'll check up on him."

Kurt then left the interrogation cell, followed by Shadow.

"This would be the the second suspect," Kurt told Taylor. "What do you think we should do?"

"Fine, let's try something different." Taylor smirked evilly. The room around the man seemed to disappear, and there was only the two around. "Do you know what happens to people who play with fire?"

Flames suddenly burst to life around the man. It appeared to get warm for him, then hot, then unbearable, the temperature increasing with every second the genjutsu is activated. "They get burnt. Speak now, or forever will this fire burn you to ashes..."

To Shadow and Kurt, however, nothing happened, for it was a powerful fire illusion directed at the man. An illusion so real, it became almost physical.

"I shall burn rather then talk," he said before yelling once more.
