They were led to a large hall where several servents were milling about. Already there were some people sat awaiting dinner including the sand siblings and Eamonn. The others went and sat down, the Maou at the head of the table.

"So how does ramen noodles sound?" he asked.

"Sounds good to me," Kurt smiled as they sat down.

Gaara glared at the Maou, "You said the ramen noodle word," he said coldly.

Right on cue, a ninja clad in an orange jumpsuit *poofed* into view. "Did someone say ramen?"

"Umm," the Maou stuttered, surprised by his sudden appearence.

"Yes he did, now sit down, shut up and wait to eat," Temari told him with a dark scowl.

"Make it miso!" Naruto rubbed his hands, hoping whoever cooks it gets it right.

Temari rolled her eyes as the servents began bringing in the ramen noodles, placing a bowl in front of each of them. Without a word they tucked in.

Kurt slurped down his ramen noodles while talking. "So how far from the county boundary lines are they?"

"I'm told that they're a mile or so out, they seem to be waiting for an order or something," the Maou said.

"Wha ar yoo---?" Naruto said, then chewed and swallowed. "What are you guys talking about?"

Soon enough, he finished his first bowl. "Second bowl, please!"

A servent brought in a second bowl for him.

"We're talking about my grandfathers forces," Kurt told him.

"They're attacking, right?" Naruto said, slurping up his second bowl of ramen with chopsticks.

"Planning to," the Maou told him. "At least that's what they appear to be doing."

"Mind games," Gaara said, looking up. "They're playing mind games, trying to make you fire the first shot so to make the Mazoku look like the aggressors."

"Understanding the meaning behind the meanings, in other words." Naruto added, then noticed his chopsticks clinked on empty bowl, and he was STILL hungry. "#3, if you please!"

"And you go on about me," Kurt said, looking at Quatre as a third bowl was delivered to Naruto.

"Get him to attack you, and you have the moral superiority down well. However, that's always risky maneuver as you'll be on the defensive in the beginning." Naruto said. When all is said and done, he's not all that bad a tactician, though he tends to lose in chess alot. He was halfway through his third bowl now, and approaching the time for his final bowl.

"We have the perfect bait to make Azazel's forces attack," Gaara said, looking directly at Kurt.

"Last bowl, and make it snappy!" Naruto called out. "Yup. We need a good bait and the only one who would be able to even get close to him is you, Kurt. Even with my Kage Bunshin, we'd need a real army to fight his. By the way, I wonder how Operation Get Clive is doing..."

I walked into the dining room, noticing that one of the servants was blubbering with relieved tears. Huh, Naruto's eating again.

"Hey guys. Oh yeah, I want a bowl of ramen--" The servant screamed and ran off. I sweatdropped. "Uh, scratch that. Hot dogs and chips, then."

Kurt looked up. "Good of you to join us Dan," he said.

The Maou just smiled as a different servent brought in ramen noodles for Daniel.

"Hey, I didn't order the ramen!" I said. "I ordered the hot dogs and chips!"

"Sorry no hotdogs or chips," the Maou told him.

"Fine..." I dug in with a fork. Not bad, but not my favorite either. "So, what's the plan so far?"

"Well so far they've threatened to use me as bait," Kurt sighed. "Seems my grandfather is waiting for the Mazoku to make the first move."

"Just like him," came Gwendal's voice from the doorway. "Seems that this vampire you sent the others after has had other ideas."

From behind Gwendal stepped a cloaked figure.

"Clive?" Kurt asked.

"Hey Clive. Well, if you're here...then shouldn't we recall the others?" I asked.

"They're on their way back," Gwendal replied.

"Well I was in the area and heard you were in town," the nosferatu then told them.

"Good timing too," Kurt smiled.

"Yeah, especially that we need to find out Azazel's location. Can you do it?" I asked Clive.

"Just give me a computer I can," Clive replied.

Gwendal's face hardened, he was glaring directly at Wolfram whom didn't look pleased with being in the same room as a vampire. "Come on, I'll show you to the nearest computers," he then said and they both left.

In the limo, Konrad placed his phone down and leaned over to the driver. "Turn around and go back to Blood Pledge Castle," he said before sitting back again. "Seems we don't have to go after this vampire after all."

"Oh? He's already reached Kurt?" Jacob guessed.

Konrad nodded. "Seems he's just turned up," he said. "Sounds like someone had us wired."

"If Clive is as big a computer expert everyone's talking about, won't put it past him." Sasuke said.

"There are of course, alternatives to fighting. However, when you're backed into a corner and you see no way out, there's only one thing to do...attack." I said, my tactical side coming out of the woodwork. "But we'd need to attack in such a way that they won't be able to react quickly and counterattack without hurting themselves. That's why I proposed we strike at the military command center, cut off their chain of command and communications at the same time Kurt goes after Azazel."

"We'd better get someone to lead an attack on the military command centre then," Kurt said. "They'll have to be someone with good leadership skills and they'll have to lead a small number."

"Shame Shikamaru isn't here, he'd be the best for the job," Temari said.

"I know. He's great at leading people and making strategies." Naruto acknowledged. "But I'm not bad, and neither is Daniel."

Kurt nodded, "Dan if you want, you can be leader," he said.

I sighed. Well, if they voted me in... "Sure, I'll do the assault on the command center, but I need a good map of it."

"Alright, then." I said. "I'll wait for Clive to hack through."

"Should be a bit quicker since Namus is now helping him," Kurt said. "But for now you can plan who you want on your team."

"All right." I nodded. Let's see. Harry has an invisibility cloak, so he's in. Ryujin's got the skills either in human shape or as the dragon, so yeah, him too. He's got a dragon longsword as well. I guess the twins too. That just leaves the shinobi. The leaf nin, then. That makes eight in my team.

Kurt rubbed the back of his head as he stood up, "Well, I guess I'll leave you to it Dan," he said. "You know where to contact me if needed." He tapped his head.

"Right." I nodded. "Ok, now that we're all here, I was about to make a strike team to attack the military command center that I was thinking about earlier."

"Team A will be me, Harry, Naruto and Taylor. Team B will be Jacob, Ryujin, Sasuke and Sakura. Any questions so far?"

"When are we hitting the place?" Sasuke asked.

"As soon as Clive and Namus finds out where it is and gets a map with labels of the various locations. We're to disrupt communications and the chain of command so that Azazel won't be able to quickly bring forces against Kurt and the others when the attack begins."

"Good plan." Jacob nodded.

"Yeah, but we'd have to wait for the computer experts first." I said.

"Found anything yet?" Konrad asked.

Clive shook his head. "Azazel seems to cover his tracks pretty well," he replied, looking at the motionless form of Namus. "He's currently hoping between security camera's around all the castles and palaces."

"Tiv'tun Castle," he replied.

Kurt re-entered the dining hall, a grin had spread across his face. "They've found him," he said.

"Really?" I asked. "Great! What about the command center?"

"They're getting the map down now," he said. "Nearest one to his gathered forces is Count James Park Military Base."

"That should work, then." I said.

"Hopefully they'll be too busy watching Makokushire to really notice you guys anyway," Kurt said, scratching the back of his neck.

I nodded. "Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for."

"And they're disorganised, my grandfather was never good with that," Kurt grinned. "I mean how can they lose so many ships to the black market."

I chuckled. "Such is the way of dictatorship in the end."

Kurt nodded. "They get careless and the people rise up against them, made stronger by all the suffering they have been through under the dictator," he said. "The same happens to bad monarchies as well."

I nodded. "Then you must make sure your rule is tempered with mercy and justice."

"Yeah," Kurt nodded. "Not as easy as it sounds, no matter what you do, there will always be some people who don't like it."

"I know." I said, thinking about my own challenges to gain my own throne.

Kurt sighed. "Well, they're getting the map of the base now," he said.

I sat back, thinking further about how to go about it. We'd need to take out the sentries. That would be the shinobis' job. We'd probably then need to shut up the barracks so that the soldiers won't be able to get out, which could be Jacob's forte. Harry, Taylor, Ryujin and I will then cut the power, hit the headquarters and take out the communications devices, then go after the commanders if needed, keep them out of the fight. Many things could go wrong, but as long as we make sure our mission is a success, we have a better chance of getting Kurt to his grandfather.

Kurt looked up as Clive and Namus entered the dining hall. The dragon was waving a map in one hand.

"You'll need this," Namus said.

"It's like the map we used when looking for the Kukai foundation," Kurt told Daniel.

"Hmm. We've got the base and the target." I said. "Looks like we're ready. Ok. Here's what we'll do..."

The plan involves hijacking a military vehicle and sneaking in that way, using Henge to impersonate the driver and passenger. Then we park it somewhere where no one's looking, then get off and do our job.

"That's a good plan," Kurt said. "I wish you guys luck on it." He then looked towards the others. "I now have my own plans I must decide on."

"Thanks, Kurt." I smiled. "I'll defer to you as to when to actually make the strike."

"When we're near Tiv'tun Castle would probably be best," Kurt said and tapped his head with a finger. "I'll let you know when we're within range. Too early could alert my grandfather to that he'll be under attack."

"Alright, let us get into position." I said, getting up. "Just need one of you guys with us to make sure we got the right base."

Kurt nodded. "I've got my team planned," he said and tapped at Excalibur which he had kept at his side.

That left Harry's wizard friends to defend the 'safehouse'.

"Ah, don't worry about it." Fred waved it off when I pointed it out. "We have a big bag of tricks we can use to put up wards around this place."

"Indeed we do, dear brother. When we're through, anyone who storms the place will wish they really stayed home." George grinned mischeviously. "We'll need 'Mione and Ronnikin to help us set it all up."

It was the first time I ever saw Harry and Ron sweatdrop. Ron stammered. "Uhh...well...sure...I guess."

Hermione was more active, though and grabbed her boyfriend by the arm. "C'mon Ron, I think I know a few good spells I can cast over this place to help the twins with the warding charms..."

"Come to think of it, we need transport that doesn't look suspicious," Kurt said.

Gwendal checked his sword and nodded. "Right," he said. "So what is your plan to get up to the base?"

"Right. Know a good place to do so?" I asked.

"The roads leading to the base are usually rife with soldier," Gwendal said. "However, there is an abandoned farm nearby that the soldier don't go to because of superstition. One of the roads goes right past it."

"Hmm. We could use that to our advantage." I said. "Let's see if it would work."

Gwendal nodded. "It should if we don't make any mistakes," he said, his gaze briefly passing the twins.

The twins were looking innocent at the moment, but a glance from me and I know they will follow my orders.

"Now we just need some transport that doesn't bring attention to us like a limo would," Gwendal said, his eyes giving a hardened stare. "Any ideas?"

"It depends." I said. "If we know what the farmyard looks like, we could teleport to that location. If there's no current photo or something, we'd need a simple farmer's truck or similar."

I looked around the courtyard, scanning for a truck we could use.

"One of the nearby farms will have a truck we can borrow," Gwendal said before walking off.

I shrugged, and we started walking towards a nearby farmyard.

As they walked down the road to the nearest farm, one of the castle limo's passed them by. It's tinted windows made it hard to see inside.

"There's a truck down there," Gwendal said, pointing in the direction of a lone truck parked in front of a farm.

Team 7 sped forward to check on the area, just in case. So far they found nothing and it appears we can use the truck to head to the haunted farmhouse.

I hopped into the passenger side while the others jumped up to the back and sat down.

Gwendal put in a keycard and the engine fired up. "Local," he muttered under his breath before pulling away.

He knew exactly where to go and what route to take.

As it passed by, I focused on the engine of the truck, forcing it to momentarily choke and die a few hundred meters up the road. It'll be easily fixable, but it's sure to slow the men down.

There was a sudden rustle in the grass a couple of meters off the road, where the soldiers in the back could see.

The old man discreetely moved his fingers around in a slightly odd fashion. "Ah, very well. I shall move on, then."

A jet of red magical light lanced out at the orange haired soldier, seemingly out of nowhere and I moved into position to strike if Harry missed with his Stunner.

"Yeah, he was just here moments ago." I began to stretch out my feelings to search for the Mozaku.

"Looking for someone?" came a voice from the farmyard.

"One false move and he loses his head, I can do that before any of you could even teleport here to rescue him,"

"Oh a please? How sad," he smirked. "You do not need to know my name, only that I am loyal to Lord Azazel."

Before anyone could reply or Gwendal could be decapitated, there was and explosion of purple smoke. From within the smoke, Kurt appeared.

"You want me, come get me," he said.

"Kurt? There's a security breach somewhere." I warned him as I kept an eye on the demon-thing.

"It's not a security breach," Kurt replied.

The demon-like man, or maybe elf, judging by his pointed ears, pushed Gwendal away, briefly hitting him with his sword.

"Azazel will reward me for killing you once and for all," he said, raising his overly large sword.

Kurt brought out Excalibur. "Not bloody likely Yidrazil," the prince replied.

The two began to size each other up.

"It's not? But then...Azazel knows?!" I asked as we stood back to watch the duel take place. I went to Gwendal. "You all right?"

"I'll heal," Gwendal said through clenched teeth.

Excalibur glowed briefly as Yidrazil launched his attack. With all his might, Kurt knocked the blow away. With his tail, he brought out his lightsaber and ignited it.

"Not goin' to work, runt," Yidrazil snarled.

I smirked. Now we put Excalibur to the true test.

With both Excalibur and his lightsaber at hand, Kurt fought harder then he ever had before in his life. Much harder then the last time he'd fought his grandfather. Yidrazil was an extremely tough opponent. For several minutes they fought, sword against sword, sword against lightsaber. Then it happened, the prince grabbed an opening and plunged Excalibur into Yidrazil's chest. A bright light engulfed the demon-elf and he howled in pain as the light engulfed everyone.

Once it was gone, Kurt still stood there in the same position, Excalibur outstretched. However Yidrazil was gone. The prines eyes widened, he had won the battle.

"Looks like Excalibur's better than it ever was before." Jacob grinned. "We reforged it well."

Kurt closed his eyes. "We are going to have rethink this plan to defeat my grandfather," he said and put both Excalibur and his light saber away.

"I suppose so." I said. "Looks like they'll be alert over in that base..."

"Seems my grandfather has been rounding up seers and other mystics, anyone who can see the future," Kurt said. "That's how he found I was still alive."

The castle limo stopped just near them and the Maou leapt ot. "Gwendal!" he yelled, seeing him sat injured at the side of the road and ran over to help him.

"Ah, I see." I said. "Looks like we'd better rethink our plan, then."

"Trouble is with the seers finding out our moves, they can't lie to my grandfather because of that fucking Ginniyeh, she can see through lies," Kurt sighed.

"Just gets more and more fun." I sighed. "What are we going to do now?"

Kurt put his hands behind his head. "Somehow we are going to have to opperate outside the ranges of the seers," he sighed.

"And that means...what?" I asked. "How can we use the 'always in motion is the future' part of foresight to our advantage?"

"With the power of precognition, this Ginniyeh will be a potent foe." Sasuke said. Then he smiled a bit. "However, what can defeat precognition?"

"If you're thinking of the Kuchiyose no Jutsu, I don't think so." Taylor shook his head. "Collateral damage's going to be horrible."

"It may be our only chance, but I'm not sure either." I mused. "What do you think, Kurt?"

"We need to take out Ginniyeh before we can do anything, that'll mean the seers can lie," Kurt said. "The seers would know I'm coming and would be forced to tell, we need to get Ginniyeh away from the seers."

"Yeah, we do have the other truck stashed in the farmyard." I pointed a thumb at the other truck.

"Best thing to do would be to head back to Blood Pledge Castle," he said, looking towards Daniel.

I nodded. "Alright. Let's get the truck going, then."

I headed to the truck, and took the driver's side. I turned over the engine and rolled it backwards out towards the street. Naruto took the passenger side while the twins and other shinobi as well as Harry took the back again. Lead the way, Kurt!

Kurt waited for their truck to appear at the farm enterence before instructing the limo driver to leave. Two hours later, they were back at the castle. Gwendal and Yozak were taken to their rooms to rest while Kurt and a few others sat on the steps outside to discuss their next move and wait for the truck to arrive.

I drove behind the limo and soon parked the truck next to the limo when we got to the castle. We piled back out, and once again, we began thinking up our next move.

"You think you could get into her mind Dan?" Kurt asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, I can get to her."

I sat down cross-legged, and began to draw on the Force. I reached out, far into the countryside,, asking the Force to let me know where is Ginniyeh. Soon, I found her, a beautiful woman, but with a heart of ice. Once I did, I had the wind whisper in her ear. Seek out and take Excalibur for yourself...use it to slay Azazel...and you will be Queen of all Draconus Nightcrawlis, perhaps Empress of the galaxy...you know it is your heart's desire to rule over all...

I withdrew from her, feeling dirty for actually seducing another woman...

"So how do we know if it's worked?" Yuuri asked.

"We don't until she shows up," Kurt sighed and looked toward Daniel. "Which means you'll probably have to do that periodically."

"All right..." I waited a few more minutes, then sent off a quick Remember Excalibur... before heading into the mansion.

I sent a third message to the seer, Excalibur can be yours to sieze...if you act quickly. Now I sound like a commercial...

We got into position for the arrival of Ginniyeh. Oh, we'll roll out the welcome mat for her all right!

Kurt looked towards Wolfram, "Don't even say it," he warned.

The prince then walked back outside, he sensed that Ginniyeh was on her way. Quatre followed him out.

Final message: Soon, very soon, you shall rule all...as promised...

That was my last message to her, as I too sensed her approaching. I got into position at the top of the castle, keeping a look out as well as preparing for my lightning skillz.

Kurt checked that Excalibur was still by his side, he would be needing it to defeat Ginniyeh. He looked up at the darkening clouds, definitely a sign but he still felt she was a fair distance away.

"She is not alone," the prince scowled.

Behind him, the three sand siblings emerge from the castle and took their positions.

The stiff breeze went through my cloak as I watched the procession from afar with macrobinoculars. The darkening clouds were perfect as well, and well before anyone else could (except with the possiblity of Jacob), I felt the electrical tingle in the air, denoting an approaching lightning storm. "Excellent."

Kurt. Who are those with her? I asked him.

Behind him, Gaara's sand began to swirl around him. Temari noticed, she knew that that was never a good sign.

"I sense missing nin," she said.

"Me too." Sasuke replied from a private channel.

"Where's the obligatory quote?" Naruto asked.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Naruto quoted.

Sasuke looked at him funny, then muttered, "Dobe."

Everyone was now ready to fight.

Dark shapes appeared, pearched upon the tree tops.

"Here's the bad feeling," Kurt scowled.

Gaara began to breath heavily, a crazed look appeared upon his face.

"I don't see Ginniyeh," the prince then added.

"Missing-nin." I muttered as I got a closer look with the macrobinoculars. I couldn't see headbands, but I suspected that Orochimaru has sent them. He is the Sound leader from the Konoha planet after all.

"Missing Sand Nin," Temari said, her eyes seemed cold. "I know who they are, they sided with Azazel after he siezed control."

Kurt scowled as he looked up at the shapes. "Well come down then!" he yelled and the missing-nin attacked.

Electricity suddenly flashed down upon the sand missing-nin as I summoned the elements, playing the role of artillery. The leaf nin began to unleash traps they set while getting into position, while Taylor and Jacob unleashed out their fire and reigun powers to slow down the enemy nin. Ryujin and the wizards were weaving spells like Slow or Impedimenta to further slow down the enemy. The battle has begun, with defenses heavily in mind.

One came right for Kurt, but he was prepared for her. The two-handed Excalibur took up his hands, he again used his tail to weild his lightsaber. The ninja was fast and most of his effort was in blocking her.

The other missing-nin ignored that battle and went after the others. Still there was no sign of Ginniyeh.

Time to join the fight... I thought as my saber flashed upon meeting a Sand jounin, clashing with his own, then striking him down with a stab before jumping down to add my considerable skills to the fight.

Ryujin has pulled out a longsword, his personal one and he and I fought back to back against a small group of other Sand nins...

Kurt managed a lucky strike and jabbed his lightsaber into the missing-nins stomach, as he went to decapitate her with Excalibur, there was a bright white light and she was gone. It was just like with Yidrazil.

Gaara's crazed look had intesified, his glare was at a missing-nin very known to him. His sand formed into a hand and as the missing-nin came for him, he wrapped it around him. "Baki!" he yelled. "Desert Funeral." The missing-nin was crushed, Gaara was breathing heavily, the crazed look still intense.

"That was her, I suspect!" I suggested as I sliced my opponent in half.

Kurt scowled as Gaara shot past him, attacking another missing-nin. "No, I stll feel her alive," he replied.

I reached out, feeling for the seer...

Kurt meanwhile plunged Excalibur into the chest of another missing-nin. The same white light took away the body.

"Kankurou!" Temari yelled.

There was an explosion and Kankurou, along with his puppets, were thrown hard against the castle wall. There he fell to the ground with a hard thump.

Two missing-nin left.

Those two missing-nin were now being taken care of by Naruto, who used Kage Bunshin and tried to set up his Rendan combo attack, while flames from Sasuke blew at the other one.

Kurt, Gaara and Temari quickly ran over to Kankurou. He lay in a heap with his broken puppets scattered around him. His eyes were closed and blood was coming from his mouth and right ear.

"Is he...?" Kurt began to ask.

"Alive, barely," Temari said, cutting him off. "Get him inside, Ginniyeh might attack if we let our guard down."

Naruto finally connected with his Rendan combo, slamming the missing-nin down to the ground with a powerful heel kick.

Sasuke managed to finish his opponent off by activating his Sharingan and hyponizing the nin before spearing his heart with a fire kunai.

Kurt looked around before he and Gaara took the unconscious Kankurou inside and lay him down on a sofa. Gaara had a mix od sadness and anger in his eyes as he looked up at Temari.

"Will he be alright?" he asked.

"I don't know," Temari asked.

"GIVE ME EXCALIBUR!" a voice boomed outside.

"She's here!" Taylor said.

"Yeah, but where?" Jacob asked.

"Stay on your guard, guys..." I warned them. I scanned the area as we got into defensive formations, lightsabers pointing outward.

Kurt teleported outside and held Excalibur high. "You fucking want it? Come get it," he yelled.

For a moment nothing, then a rain of flaming stoned headed down towards the prince. He was about to teleport away but something suddenly blocked them. Sand, a shield of sand was protecting him from the fire stones. From the doorway to the castle, he saw Gaara, arm outstretched.

"Come out and fight, bitch," Kurt yelled.

I was intruged, wondering what's up with her. She was probably planning something nasty...

With the fire stones gone, the sand returned to Gaara. Ginniyeh could be anywhere as he looked around. Of course she was after Excalibur which he was holding so she had to be close by.

"Keep your eyes peeled," he told them.

We were keeping our eyes peeled, even looking above, but there was currently no sign of her.

Temari came out while Kankurou was being treated inside. Slowly she pulled her fan forward. "I see her, in the trees over there," she said.

Kurt looked up and saw a figure in the trees, "As do I," he agreed.

We also noticed her in the trees.

Kurt looked toward Gaara, who nodded at him.

The figure didn't move, instead lightning struck the ground not far from where Daniel was stood.

"Not good," Kurt said. "This rate she won't come to us."

"Then we go to her." I said. "Taylor?"

"Right." He plunged his hand into a pocket and pulled out a special pair of white gloves. It was made of a material known as pyrocloth, special material that when rubbed violently, creates a spark. Knowing Taylor, he loves to create fire with nothing but a *snap*. The gloves, which had a red-lined fire symbol on the back, was pulled on his hands, and he grinned.

"Ready?" I asked, my hands crackling with electricity.

"Ready." He nodded, preparing to snap his fingers.

"Go." I ordered.

Taylor snapped his fingers, sending a spark towards the lady that soon exploded as it reached the tree, burning it hotly. I then accelerated towards the area, preparing to attack her with either saber or electricity...

Ginniyeh moved away in a flash and vanished from view.

"Shit," Kurt swore. "She could be anywhere."

He swung around, Excalibur in hand, looking for any sign of her. This was not good, he couldn't recall ever being told she had the ability to teleport.

"I can't feel her," he said.

Reaching out for her signature, I teleported as well to get to her...

Kurt was knocked off his feet and as he looked up, he saw Daniel was now where he had been standing.

"Hey, watch where you're teleporting to," he yelled at him.
