Eamonn brought out his twin chakra katana's, jumped into the air and became a blur as he twirled around. He then aimed himself and aimed himself at the two Sound Nin. Whilst Gaara's wall of sand crumbled under the pressure, Temari stepped forward with her fan and used it to create a cyclonic wind to slice up the Sound Nin.

Manda opened his mouth wide to bite Gamabunta, and swiftly snapped forward. Gamabunta jumped out of the way and struck with his dagger, narrowly missing a vital spot as Manda ducked away. Ryujin lashed out with his tail and knocked Manda back before he missed a fireball upon the evil snake.

'Man, this guy's fast!' I thought as we dueled against the snake. Orochimaru's very powerful, and this is the first time I've sensed his power, almost as strong as Palpatine.

Eamonn dropped to his feet and wiped his forehead. "Now for the Snake bastard," he smirked before jumping away.

Exiting the clearing where the summoned animals were now battling, Eamonn noticed Kurt and Quatre sat down catching their breath. They had obviously finished their fighting, nothing more they could do without morphing into dragon form.

Kurt looked and and was surprised to find Eamonn was not alone.

Manta was slowly overwhelmed by the toad and dragon attacking him together. Ryujin got poisoned, though and I had to pull out antidotes in the middle of the duel to keep him from getting out of the game. Then, a blast of water bullets and a fireball from Ryujin impacted on Manda, weakening him enough to be released from this realm of existence.

"Hah! Look like we finished Manda for now!" Gamabunta crowed, but he also felt the poison when he was stabbed by the tail of the snake. "I'd better recover as well."

He disappeared, and Ryujin grew small again, and I gave him over to Jacob so he could treat the dragon with antidote.

"This is what we came for," Kurt growled, standing up. He drew his lightsaber and ignited it, preparing for battle.

As we ignited our lightsabers, Orochimaru looked out at our large numbers. "Quite a lot of you here. I'll cut you down to size!"

He formed a mass of Kage Bunshins, two for every person, and then attacked...

Gaara quickly encased his two clones in sand and performed desert funeral on them. Temari made her Dance of the Wind Blades move while Kankurou used his puppets from a distance. Eamonn once again brought out his twin chakra katana's while Kurt and Quatre performed their lightsaber duo move, taking on the four between them.

It was the real Orochimaru that Taylor and I dueled as Naruto overwhelmed his foes with his own clones and Sasuke burned his two foes to death. Jacob used his Shotgun to defeat his clones.

He was a whirling dervish, slicing and kicking to fight us, and a small part of me recalled the duel against Darth Maul I watched as a little kid a long time ago on the holovids. The magic within Excalibur held up nicely against our lightsabers, showing just how powerful the sword is. The snake-sennin cackled madly and fought on against the two of us as we tried to take him out...

"Sand. Pfft. Let's see how you do against water!" Orochimaru lept out of the battle and made some hand-seals. "Water Type: Water Explosion technique!"

Suddenly, a great mass of water swirled out of the lake and smashed down upon the hapless Sand shinobi before Orochimaru reengaged me.

I have to do something...sorry Kurt, but this is what I must do... I concentrated, then electrcity poured on one hand, as I used the other to hold my lightsaber upright. Then, the other hand's forefingers slided up the lightsaber blade, careful not to actually touch it, and my lightsaber became electrified. "Lightning Type: Lightsaber Raikiri no Jutsu!"

Angry sparks flew from my lightsaber as I momentarily boosted it's power. Electricity crackled up and down the blade like it was a live wire, clearly seeing that it's more powerful than ever.

Orochimaru was no longer amused, as we struck at each other again and again. With each blow, a part of the magic holding Excalibur's atoms together weakened, until...

it broke cleanly in half.

Before I could strike the finishing blow, he disappeared, and so did a smirking Kabuto and Sound survivors. The battle was over, but a great casualty occured as a storm rumbled by, crying over the death of Excalibur...

Kurts eyes widened in horror over the fact that Excalibur had been broken in two. He sank to his knees, tears began to run down his cheeks, sliding down between the soft fur. This sword had been his only chance to defeat his grandfather, now it lay broken, useless. There was silence as the other realised the seriousness of it all. Quatre knelt beside his boyfriend and put his arm around him and held him close. This indeed looked to be a dark day. Eamonn was stood silently, he placed his sunglasses back on and folded his arms.

Gaara picked himself up from the ground, drenched from the water. He looked towards Kurt, their mission was a faliure. Orochimaru was still out there and liable to strike again. "It can be reforged, can't it?" he asked.

"I-I'm sorry Kurt, I didn't see any other choice to stop Orochimaru." I said, as I picked up the two pieces, feeling the magic leaking out like it was water, and gave it to him.

The twins, mostly Jacob, were more thoughtful than sad. I wonder what they're thinking...

"That, the wizards and I could do." Ryujin said, as the wizards returned from battle, battered and bruised. "Plus, you can probably fuse it with your Force powers..."

"That's Excalibur? What happened to it?" Ron asked.

"Broke it in half to stop Orochimaru." I said.

"Bloody hell...you're powerful." He exclaimed.

I smiled wanly. "Yeah, I guess so."

"So what's this about alchemy I hear?" Harry asked.

"We could reforge the sword with it." Jacob said.

Kurt opened his eyes and looked up at them. He stayed silent, Quatre still had his arm around him.

Jacob looked back at Kurt. "We're going to need several raw materials. Steel, Titanium, and Aluminium. Steel is for the sword itself. Titanium is for keeping it strong. Aluminium is for making it light enough to swing around. I've also got a strip of cortorsis to help the magic resist lightsabers. Hermione, you find a spell that will help with the reforging."

"All right." She nodded.

"I will be doing the atomic bonding itself, with Taylor's fire and Daniel's electricity help." Jacob said. "We'll need a smithy, which should be somewhere around here. Avalon here is the place it was forged, and I have a hunch that it would be the only place it could be forged. "Kurt, it will be your job to use the Force to keep all the materials and magic together until the forging's done. I think it will take three days for the whole thing. Any shorter and it wouldn't work. Any longer and the sword will become brittle and break again."

Kurt just nodded, he just wanted this too work so he could defeat his grandfather. Slowly and with a little help from Quatre, he got to his feet.

"And what can we do?" Gaara asked.

"Keep watch, because with us focusing our powers on Excalibur, we're vulnerable." I said. "Now let's find some metal!"

Gaara nodded and folded his arms. He nodded to his siblings and they jumped away to seek out watch posts. Kurt looked towards the others before walking off to look for something that could be a forge. Quatre and Thor followed him.

Naruto and Sasuke also searched for watch positions as the twins and I headed out of Avalon on dragonback. Invisiblity is a cool spell to use when you're a 125 foot long dragon with three kids riding on your back.

Now, where to get some steel, titanium and aluminium...

The trio continued to walk until they arrived at a clearing. Smoke seemed to be coming from a hole in the ground.

"What do you think?" Quatre asked.

They then split up to look around the clearing for any sign of a possible enterance.

We arrived at a scrap yard, and Ryujin used one of his spells to transform himself into a boy with silver hair, a gray T-shirt and white shorts.

"I've never seen you transform like that before." I said to him.

"That's because it's a new spell that I've learned from my father. I was waiting for the right time to test it out." The dragon smiled.

"Cool, very cool." I smirked.

Soon, we found steel, aluminium, titanium from an old jet plane, which was quite interesting. Jacob's alchemic powers allowed him to detect the differences in the atomic structures of the metals so he can correctly identify each one. Once we got enough (several kilos of metal), we flew back to Avalon.

The ground beneath Quatre gave way beneath his feet and he fell into a hole. Kurt ran over as fast as he could.

"Quatre!" he yelled.

His voice echoed around the forest so that anyone could hear. Gaara looked up and carefully listened to where the yell had come from, in a blur he went to investigate.

We flew back to notice a commotion and landed.

"We got the metals! What's going on?" I asked.

"Something happened to Quatre," Temari said and leapt away through the trees.

Kurt ran over to the hole and peered inside. All he could see was darkness. "Quatre!" he yelled again.

Jacob sent a flare of light down the hole to see what's up.

"It's deep," Temari said, kneeling down behind them. "Sounds bottomless, like Choji's stomach."

"So what now? Jump and hope we don't go splat?" I asked. I don't know how long I can have the Force act like a parachute.

"Looks like it. Hey, we'll stay up here and guard the camp, ok?" Ron said.

We fell quite a long way, and Taylor kept on throwing fireballs down to light the way so we can slow down at the right point...

Meanwhile, I had to create a Force bubble around me and Ryujin but Taylor merely pushed the flames aside as he can manipulate fire like he manipulates his fingers. "What's going on here?"

"Well, lookie here. We must be a sight for that sore eye." Taylor quipped.

"Oh, sorry about the fireballs." Taylor said as he too stopped falling.

"Nothing down here," Quatre replied. "It's a bottomless pit trap, my guess is that we've fallen a few hundred feet."

"Of all the magical traps...we had to get the bane of video games." Taylor groused.

I rolled my eyes. "Quatre, I can teleport you, but you would have to revert to human form. I'll hold you up with telekinesis." With that, I began reaching out to 'grab' Quatre.

I pulled him up, grabbed his hand and teleported, Taylor and Ryujin following microseconds after.

We *cracked* back to the surface amid a relieved group.

A very relieved Kurt leapt at Quatre and kissed him, knocking the pair to the ground.

Temari held up her arm in front of her eyes. "Ok, we don't have to see this," he said.

"Glad your safe, brothers. Now let's get this forging started." Jacob said.

"Being a dragon in such a confined space is not good," the blond said, running a hand through his now dirty hair.

I held the sword tenderly, as my brothers held the metal in their arms and we headed off to the forge. Hermione went through books to research a spell to help Excalibur, while Jacob pulled out his alchemist's marker so he could make a transmutation array.

With Kurt and Quatre at the healing well, the others set about going down into the forge which Thor had found prior to Quatre's accident. Though it probably hadn't been used in centuries, it was still set up for someone to forge a new sword at any moment. Easy access to everything that they would need in order to fix Excalibur.

With the marker, Jacob drew a complicated array on a clear floor of the forge, an array more complicated than an ordinary 'fix-em' array because of the magical nature of Excalibur. "Ok. Daniel, put the sword in the middle. then put the metal around it in a circle, Taylor."

We did so, and it appeared to be ready.

"Hermione? Find anything?"

"Not yet." She shook her head. "It's going to take a while."

"Hmm..." Jacob thought. "Oh yeah, we still need Kurt."

Kurt and Quatre soon entered the forge, the blonds hands now healed.

"Need me now then," the prince grinned.

"All right. Here we go." Jacob said, going down and placing his hands on the array. "Here's what we need to do, Kurt. We need to bond the metal atoms together. You need to draw on the Force, to feel each atom 'click' into place like a jigsaw puzzle. That's the first step in forging the sword, and will last the first day because there's billions of atoms in the sword."

Jacob focused on the array, energy crackling on all the lines as it activated. "Ok, Kurt, let's get started!"

Time, hours passed. The atoms in steel, aluminium, and titanium as well as cortorsis were bonded together bit by bit. Kurt and Jacob felt the energy work it's way through the blade, reforging it, rebuilding it anew. But it took hours and hours of work, of concentration because Excalibur is nothing less than a magic metal lightsaber and cannot be forged with haste.

Hermione finally found the spell the Lady of the Lake used to strengthen the sword. On Jacob's command, she fired the spell onto the array, and the young alchemist infused the magical energy into the sword, strengthening its atoms to be hard, yet flexible. That was six hours later.

Hours more passed. The sun went down and the stars came out to watch the alchemy work. Finally, the second day began, and the sword, while not yet completed, was once again in once piece...

"Two more days." Jacob let up on the array, satisfied that the correct amounts of metal were forged into the sword. "Your godbrother needs to hammer it, while Taylor pours fire on it every so often. That is the heat-forging required of all swords. The last day would be spent preparing wards so that only you can use it."

Kurt nodded and looked up as Thor came in.

Jacob placed the sword on an anvil.

"Taylor!" Jacob called. His braided twin brother came by. "Ready!"

Preparing a fire spell, Taylor spat a hot stream of fire at the sword, making it glow with red.

I was watching the whole thing while leaning against a wall, arms folded. I was pleased at my brother's skills in alchemy, knowing that there isn't much more I could teach him now. Surely, he is a Jedi Knight...

Taylor, as well. The boys have equally grown to be powerful Jedi Knights. I would soon have to initiate the Knighting Ceremony, for this is their Trials, or at least part of it.

Two more times, Taylor threw fire onto the sword and two more times, Thor hammered the sword Excalibur. Jacob was feeling his fatigue, but he refused to stop, not until he is satisfied that the sword is completed.

"Ok, now comes the final part." Jacob said as the third day's sun rose. "Daniel and Harry, you need to put together electrical and magical wards on the sword, but it's going to require that the sword recognize its bearer. That means blood from Kurt. One drop on the sword, then Daniel charges it with electricity, and finally Harry places a charm on it."

"All right..." Harry said tiredly, trying to recall a good warding spell for the sword.

"Very well." I said, focusing a spark of lightning on my right hand index finger.

I touched the sword with my electrical finger, spreading the iron blood out to reach all of the sword. My electricity will make it painful for anyone else to pick up the sword but Kurt and any descendants. Finally, Harry pointed his wand and muttered a spell at it, and the sword seemed to pick itself up and shine brightly. It was complete!

"That's it, it is done," Kurt said with a smile. "Just hope it holds up."

"Well, let's rest today. Tomorrow, we can decide how to deal with your grandfather." I suggested.

So far, there are quite a few people around here. If we include the wizards, noting that the wizarding world was broken open by Voldemort years ago, we have a team that can be split up into squads.

We have the following:

Me, Jacob, Taylor (we're Jedi first and shinobi second)

Kurt, Quatre, Ryujin, Eamonn, and the others not around at the moment.

We'd need to form squads that compliment each of our different powers and use those squads to take on Azazel's forces when we attack the key military complexes we find. I suggest thus:

Eamonn quietly waited in the trees while Gaara watched the area from the ground. After several hours, both Kurt and Quatre emerged from their tent, ready to leave Avalon.

In the morning, I decided to ask the wizards if they could help out.

"So let me get this straight. You want us to head off Earth, on to some other planet, to help defeat a powerful emperor so that Mr. Blue Elf could take his place. That about right?" Ron asked.

"Well, it'd be nice to see Earth from space. I mean, after all, only a few people -until now- from here could see it from thousands of kilometers in orbit." Hermione said.

"Very good, sir." I replied, and we laughed.

As the wizards came in, Harry rolled his eyes at Ron. Much like his father, he's extremely fascinated by Muggle technology, especially how it compares to wizard magic, and looked in awe at all the neat stuff on the ship.

Fred used a Body Bind curse on Ron, and as the Weasley twins picked up their brother, the wizards were shown to their guest rooms.

Chaos led them into guest area and showed them their rooms, they were exactly like the ones Daniel and the twins had, except fror the off different picture and plant.

The shinobi had another craft (Stealth shuttle) and they began the preflight startup sequence, now including Sakura.

The man was zombie-like, but was running too fast to be a zombie. Jr held up his gun and shot the man twice in the chest, whom then stumbled to the ground.

"Quick," he muttered to himself. "Better quick then slow."

The program let Jr know of Daniels arrival. He carried on walking down an empty street, looking for something. From out of an empty shop, a man with blood over his face came running at him. I hopped down and headed west. Then two zombies swiftly attacked from the side, while a third went from behind. Would have worked...if they weren't sliced by a series of figure 8s that first lopped off their legs then decapitated them, finishing off with a whirling strike that carved the last zombie from shoulder to waist. Fast, but not fast enough.

Jr shot his way through several more rage victims. They were too easy as he made his way up to the palace. It had been a very long time since he had last been there in realife, over eight years in fact. Still even though it was only a representation in a holodeck sim, it was nice to be going up the steps to the main doors.

I passed through several more squads of zombies, leaving twitching limbs and headless bodies in my wake before I too reached the palace.

"Nice haunt as ever." I commented and headed up the stairs.

Jr nodded and pushed open the doors of the palace. "You do know that those aren't zombies right?" he asked.

Jr nodded and just as he was about to open touch the door handle, the doors burst open and a large bumbling figure came bursting out, only to fall down the stairs. It drooped something familiar that bounced down the stairs after them.

"Shit," Jr swore.

"What was that?" I asked.

"Something bad maybe," Jr said. "It's got the brute force and clumsiness of a rage victim."

They could hear it move around at the bottom of the stairs.

"Let's deal with it, then." I said.

"Right," Jr said just as the huge bulking figure appeared over ther stairs.

"Skinny one!" it yelled in an all to familiar voice.

"Well, if that's not Thor, I don't know who it is." I rolled my eyes.

"Thor seen some nasty stuff, took a wrong turn on Rainbow Bridge and ended up at the palace," Thor said, putting his hammer done. "Thor seen zombies, they've taken over Exetergrecia. Thor also thought you were going to go back to Tortuga DN, not back here."

Jr realised something and grinned to himself.

"Thor, we're in the holodeck," Jr said and burst out laughing.

Thor shook his head, "Figures," he muttered and left the sim.

I had to laugh. "Old-fashioned?"

Jr shook his head and made a drinking motion.

"Ah, figures." I said. "Continue or what?"

"I think I've lost the urge," Jr sighed. "Want to head back to the real world?"

I shrugged. "Ok."

I headed out of the holodeck and onto the real deck.

Jr placed his hands behind his head and wondered back to his room.

Kurt meanwhile was still sat in the Pel'tak when Thor wandered in. "What up?" he asked.

"Seems to be a problem occuring in Draconis Nightcrawlis," Thor explained.

"Oh?" the prince questioned him.

"That is all I'm allowed to tell you right now," the God told him.

Now, let's see...bah, I'm going to my room to take a nap.

Thor then left without saying anything more. That left Kurt wondering what in fact was going on back on his homeworld. For the rest of the journey he became worried. Thor was no longer anywhere to be seen on the ship and as they were about to leave hyperspace, Kurt wandered back into the Pel'tak and sat in the captains chair. Zathar had retaken his spot and was joined by Quatre at the controls.

As we neared Tortuga, I entered the Pel'tak, noticing an obvious change in Kurt's mood recently. "What's up?"

Kurt sighed. "Just something Thor mentioned," he replied. "He wouldn't say what, but it seems something is happening in Draconis Nightcrawlis."

"War? Revolution? New elections?" I wondered. On the third part, I wish.

"I have no idea," Kurt sighed, shaking his head. "It definitely won't be elections."

"Yeah. Hey, we're coming up to the planet." I said.

Kurt looked down at Tortuga DN. "The same as usual," he said, standing up.

Quatre also stood up and together they went down to the docking bay.

Soon enough, we managed to fit ourselves in the docking bay and with the shinobi shuttle trailing behind, we began to orbit the planet.

Also in the shuttle were Eamonn, chaos, Jr and the sand siblings. Kurt guided the shuttle down to the planet and landed in the space port. There they got out and waited for the others to land.

The shinobi shuttle landed and not only Naruto and Sasuke were there, but also a pink-haired young woman named Haruno Sakura. She was surprised that the sand shinobi were around but smiled anyway.

"We'll get you settled into the palace," Kurt said, he seemed somewhat cold and distant. "I have to speak with Wes and General Flack."

The prince then turned and left the spaceport, heading up to the palace. Once again, a small child took one look at Eamonn and ran off.

Going to take a long time to regain people's confidence. Naruto noted the child as we headed to the palace.

Lady Rasputin was there to great them with a smile. "It is good to see you again," she said.

Kurt nodded. "As with you," he replied. "We have guests who need to be shown to the guest rooms."

"As you wish your Majesty," she replied before looking toward the others. "The servents inside will show to your rooms."

The twins and I had our old rooms, while the shinobi and wizards were shown their own rooms for now.

Kurt, Quatre, Jr and Gaara headed off into a large meeting room that no one else was allowed into. That left chaos, Eamonn, Kankurou and Temari to do what they wished but it was clear that most of the time they would have to keep their eye on Eamonn as they headed outside.

Eamonn did nothing except stand near the gates, looking towards the colony, almost glaring at it.

"He's becoming too much like the old Gaara," Temari said.

Kankurou nodded in agreement.

Back inside the meeting room, the four sat down at the large table. Lady Rasputin was already there, also around the table was General Flack and Captain Cronin. Kurt was already worried by this, but he guessed this was also something to do with what was happening in Draconis Nightcrawlis as a black haired man walked in. The prince knew this man to be Gwendal von Walde.

Probably, Kurt told him as Gwendal went to sit down.

"So what is going on?" Kurt asked. "Thor told me something was going on back home but wasn't allowed to tell me what."

Gwendal cleared his throat. "It would appear that your grandfather is after the forbidden boxes," Gwendal explained.

Forbidden boxes? Kurt thought. He had not heard of anything like that before. What a dumb name anyway.

I popped into the meeting hall. "Hi peoples. I'm Daniel Masaki, Commander of the Coredian Navy's Rogue Squadron, except that my squadron's not available at the moment, so I'm just a commander who happens to be a Jedi Knight and Kurt's best friend. I'm here to lend my aid to the fight."

Gwendal's face turned cold as he looked at the new face. "A human," he scowled.

Kurt looked up at him. "Now I thought you had put that hatred behind you," he said.

Gwendal looked away.

I shrugged and took an empty seat. "So did I miss anything?"

Gwendal Folded his arms and glared at Daniel.

"Well we've been told what is going on in Draconis Nightcrawlis," Kurt then told him. "Seems that my grandfather wants his hands on some forbidden boxes."

"Forbidden boxes?" I frowned. "What's that? Hopefully it isn't cardboard filled with poison..."

"They contain power that can destroy the world," Gwendal said. "As long as the keys are not near them they are nothing but empty boxes."

General Flack nodded. "We have to stop Azazel at all costs," he said.

"That is why I have Excalibur," Kurt told them.

"Nukes in a box...interesting." I said, then laid out my plan. "As strong as Excalibur is, it might as well be an ordinary sword if you can't get to Azazel himself. That is why I propose we send a strike team to take control of key military and/or civilian facilities. The military command center that controls all military activity, the ministries of foreign affairs, defense, interior and commerce/treasury, as well as any propaganda or major news stations. As well as a diversion, my proposal should decrease the amount of reinforcements Azazel can bring against us. Distracted, he'll lash out and we might be able to find him more easily."

"Of course, it's risky, but no plan ever succeeds without risk." I added.

"Possibly," Kurt said.

"Problem is that Azazel keeps all his lackies with him," General Flack said. "And it's been very difficult to keep a track on his movements, however we think he stays in Exetergrecia or thereabouts."

"And that is where we have to go underground like when we searched for Lady Nocturne," the prince said.

Gwendal looked up at the prince. "And your grandfather is planning to attack Mazokushire," he said. "The best place to be right now is Blood Pledge Castle."

"Hmm. Got a map of the place?" I asked.

"Of Mazokushire? Not on me, no," Gwendal asked. "Like I said it would be best if we headed to Blood Pledge Castle."

"Any objections?" Kurt then asked.

The others shook their heads.

"Well, I guess that's our next stop, then." I said.

Kurt nodded. "The others will meet as aboard the shuttle," he said standing up and looked towards Gwendal. "We should talk again once we're aboard the Ayreon."

Gwendal nodded as he and the others left the meeting hall.

After leaving the meeting hall, I had the troops learn of Azazel's plan to grab some "nukes in a box" as I called them and we began piling out towards the shuttle. It is nearly the time...

Soon they were aboard the Ayreon and Kurt quickly headed to the Pel'tak. Ignoring his crew asking what was going on, he ordered the ship to go into hyperspace. Within minutes there was a blue flash and a slight jolt, the ship had entered hyperspace. Satisfied, Kurt went to gather the others and headed to the ships meeting room. The same faces as before were there.

The meeting room was pretty crowded, but we managed to squeeze ourselves through to hear what Kurt had to say. It had to be important for such a fast departure.

"First things first, we will be heading for Blood Pledge Castle," Kurt began. "I pray to the Gods that my grandfather has not begun his attack on the county yet."

"Our forces will hold back anything he sends," Gwendal then said.

Kurt nodded. "First thing to do when we get there is to contact Clive and get him to try and locate my grandfather, seee if he is still in Exetergrecia."

"Who's Clive?" Harry asked.

Kurt looked up at him. "A nosferatu hacker friend of mine," he told him.

"You associate with vampires now?" Gwendal scowled.

Kurt glared at him.

"Hey, I have a werewolf for a friend." Harry added his glare at Gwendal.

Ryujin sighed, folding his arms. "Not every dragon is a friend to humans. Prejudice sometimes run as deep within dragons as it does with humans."

I shook my head. "Figures."

"Same with Mazoku," Kurt said, looking in Gwendals direction. "Does anyone have any questions?"

No one else had any further questions.

Kurt nodded. "There isn't really much more we can do until we get to Draconis Nightcrawlis," he then said.

The meeting then broke up and we headed away to do what we do around here. The wizards practiced spells. The leaf shinobi and Masaki brothers initiated hand-to-hand duels, punctuated by Ryujin at times. All in all, we had busy schedules in the upcoming days to DN.

After a few days travel, the Ayreon left hyperspace and was given clearence to land in Mazokushire. It had been made to look as though it was a normal Mazokushire ship landing to bring in supplies, Azazel's forces didn't seem to insterested in it, if at all they had known about it.

Kurt led the others off the ship. The last time he had stepped foot inside Mazokushire was eleven years ago. "Well, we're here now," he said looking up the road to the castle.

"The Maou will see you now," Gwendal said, leading them up to the castle.

Our little group of five wizards, three Jedi, three leaf ninjas and a dragon in human form followed the others up the castle.

They were led into a courtyard where a group of people were waiting. One, a black haired, black eyed guy of about Kurts age stepped forward. He strangle also wore nothing but black. "Good to see you again Prince Kurt," he said.

Kurt managed a smile. "You too Maou," he replied. "I would like to introduce you to my friends."

A blond guy, dressed in a blue soldiers uniform, who had been stood at the Maou's side seemed to eye the prince with suspicion.

I took a glance at the blond guy as we introduced ourselves. Might wanna keep an eye on him...

A redhaired, blue eyed woman smiled at Daniel before the Maou turned around.

"Come with me, I'll show you inside," he then said.

The others followed him inside and were split up as they followed the maids to the guest quarters. Kurt and Quatre stayed behind with the Maou and the blond guy.

We were lead by the maids to the quarters then as the others milled around and chatted, I wondered if the blond guy I saw was to be trusted.

"The fobidden boxes are in a safe place I'm told," the Maou assured them. "I'm honoured to finally meet you Quatre."

"As I am to you, Maou," Quatre replied. "And to you Wolfram, Kurt has mentioned you on a few occasions."

Wolfram just folded his arms and said nothing.

"My grandfather will stop at nothing to get them," Kurt then warned.

"I know," the Maou nodded. "We do need a plan to stop him and for you, a way to defeat him."

Well, if the guy makes trouble, Kurt would have more than enough backup to deal with him. I shrugged and entered a wizard's chess game with Ron.

"That weird looking human keeps staring at me," Wolfram said as Daniel walked off.

"Who Daniel?" Kurt asked and smirked. "Oh you shouldn't worry about him."

Gwendal came up to them. "Azazel's forces are still outside the county," he said.

"Check." I smirked, placing a bishop in the path of the king. Ron's brain gears got to work, then he moved the King away...into a trap he is about to fall in, but didn't notice yet.

"That buys us some time," Kurt said as Gwendal walked off.

The Maou nodded.

"You'd better contact Clive, let him know whats up," Quatre suggested.

Kurt nodded, the Maou then motioned for him to follow and they headded off. Wolfram just glared at the prince.

Ron noticed the trap and used a rook to take out one of the pieces. "Clever, but not clever enough!"

"We'll see about that!" I moved a pawn into position.

Quatre went over to watch the wizard chess match, Wolfram meanwhile had followed Kurt and the Maou.

"With the Maou on ourside, it should be better for us," Quatre explained.

"That's good." I said, distracted. I decided to move my queen into position. Ron countered with a knight in her path. I removed the knight with a bishop. He found a bishop's path to threaten my king. I castled my king out of the way. He frowned, then moved the bishop back. Perfect. I moved in to attack his queen with a knight. He countered by walloping him with a rook, but that left me an opening for...my second rook. "Check...and mate."

"Bloody...hold on..." He said, trying to see if there's a mode to defend from. "Looks like you got me that time."

"You owe me, then." I held out my hand, and he gave up a Knut.

"He's also a powerful magic user," Quatre then added. "The same goes for Wolfram."

"Good. More magic to throw at Azazel." Ron nodded.

Quatre nodded. "Even with Kurt weilding Excalibur, it will take alot to bring down Azazel," he said.

"That's what Harry and Daniel are for, I guess." Ron continued.

I laughed a bit nervously. "C'mon!"

"You're too modest, old boy." Ron chuckled at my look. "Kinda like Harry."

He ducked a flying pawn. "I'm serious!"

Quatre looked up as Kurt returned.

"Contacted Clive, let him know whats up," the prince told him. "We'll need to send up a team to help him though."

The pawn muttered obscenities as he crawled his way back to the chess board.

"Hmm. Send Jacob, Sasuke and Ron to get Clive. Make sure they know where to go." I said.

"Sure," Kurt nodded.

"They can take Konrad with them as well," the Maou suggested.

"Hmm? Konrad?" I asked.

"My brother," Wolfram said from behind them.

"Well they will need someone that at least knows Exetergrecia," Kurt pointed out.

I nodded. "Fair enough."

A brown haired man appeared beside Wolfram. "We will leave as soon as possible," he told them.

"Alright." I closed my eyes. Jacob! Get ready for deployment. This will be a mission without your brother this time! Get Sasuke here too!

The twosome soon popped to existence in front of the others. "A mission without Taylor? Why?"

"I want to see what you can do if you somehow end up being separated." I said. "Because there will be times when that will happen."

"Oh, ok." Jacob was more pragmatic than Taylor, so he would understand quicker.

"You two and Ron are going with Konrad here," I pointed to Konrad. "To seek out and extract a friend named Clive. He's a vampire, but a good one."

"All right." Sasuke nodded.

"A nosferatu to be exact," Kurt smiled.

"The limo is waiting out front," Konrad said. He smiled at the others and went to leave the room.

"There's a difference between vampires and nosferatu?" Jacob asked as they were led to the limo.

"Well nosferatu are hidiously deformed," Konrad told them as the chauffer opened the limo door while they walked outside. "Most vampires still look human however."

He then waited for them to climb inside.

"Oh." Jacob said as the three got into the limo.

With them all aboard, Konrad climbed in and the chauffer closed the door and drove away. "It's a few hours or so up the motorway," he then told them.

Kurt watched the car leave from a window, "I hope they'll be safe."

"They'll be fine," Quatre assured him, placing an arm around him.

"They have Konrad with them, they are completely safe," the Maou said with a smile.

Wolfram just quietly stood there, arms folded.

"Now we just have to plan what we're going to do," Kurt sighed, continuing to look outside the window.

"We can talk over dinner," the Maou suggested.

"Yeah, let's eat. Jacob and Sasuke can take care of anything thrown at them." I assured them.
