"I have five of him already," Eamonn commented.

"I have Dumbledore," Kurt said, holding up his card.

"Not bad." I ate another frog. "Cool. I got Merlin!"

In the distance, I could soon see the rolling hills of Scotland. "We're getting close. Let's get ready."

Blaise looked out the window. "About an hour to go I reckon," he said. "At least you two don't have to cross the lake with the first years."

"Yeah, good thing." I wouldn't like to fall in. I put on my sweater and cloak.

Blaise soon noticed the clouds gathering overhead in the near darkness. "Guess it's going to piss down," he commented. "The first years will be soaked."

"I hate rain," Kurt remarked, folding his arms. "Fur and rain don't mix."

At least it won't be as bad as Kamino. I remarked to Kurt.

Yeah, Kurt replied, just before the train made a sudden and very unexpected stop which threw some to the ground.

"Shit what was that?" Eamonn swore.

Blaise looked out the window but saw nothing.

I picked myself up, and headed out. Young wizards and witches were milling about, seemingly confused.

This is definitely not like the Order of the Phoenix. I thought to myself.

Eamonn glared at Kurt, "This will teach you not to read fanfics," he muttered under his breath, fortunately neither Draco nor Blaise heard that.

"Bite my furry blue arse," Kurt growled a reply.

"All right no one panic," They heard an older student yell.

I made a mental note to hex Kurt next time I get a chance as I decided to do a little detective work and figure out what the hell is going on here. I noticed that the prefects are trying to calm the youngest ones down, with varying success. Now, as I see it, we're about an hour from Hogwarts, and the professors will get here soon. I just hoped that nothing evil happened until then.

Draco took out his wand and stepped out into the narrow corridor.

"Stay in your compartment," a Slytherin prefect told him.

"What's going on?" he demanded.

"I don't know now get back in your compartment," the prefect again told him.

Disgusted, Draco did as he was told. "Don't know what is going on," he told the others."

"Eamonn..." I called him, reaching out with the Force. "Hey, Draco, did you forget you're a prefect? Now act like one!"

What? Eamonn asked.

"I know, he's seventh year and pretty much a bastard," Draco replied.

I'm getting a feeling, doesn't feel good. I sent Eamonn.

I feel that I want to kill Kurt Eamonn replied, glaring at the prince.

Draco continued to stand beside the door, looking out into the corridor. He could see the head students stood towards the front of the train talking.

There was a sharp jolt and the lights went out.

"I don't like this," Eamonn said.

"Lumos." I muttered, feeling the magic flow and light the end of my wand. "C'mon guys. We're too vulnerable, just sitting here."

I went into my trunk and discretely took out my lightsaber and placed it on one of the farther rings of my trousers and cloaked it. I had a feeling I'm going to need it.

The door to the compartment opened and the prefect from before looked in on them. "Come on, trains broken down so we have to get to Hogwarts by another means," he told them. "Leave your things here, they'll be at Hogwarts waiting for you but if you wish you can take your pets with you."

The prefect then left and moved onto the next compatment.

"Why do I feel that it's not that simple," Kurt groaned.

I let Lincoln loose, then we walked out and saw over a thousand students milling around, talking and trying not to be so nervous, especially the younger ones.

A torch flashed toward the front of the train.

"Alright everyone follow me," a voice bellowed out. "And keep in an orderly fashion, we don't want to lose anyone."

The swarm of students began to move forwards. Passing the front of the train, they could see the engineer busily working on the engine. Apparently the train had in fact broken down, but for reasons unknown.

"Oh I hope we don't have to walk far," Draco complained.

I smirked. "This is nothing. I've walked miles before. It's good to stay in shape."

"Oh quiet you," Draco sneered. "I'm ruining good shoes in this mud, my father shall hear about this.

A large man appeared in the moonlight. "First years follow me," he bellowed.

Up ahead they could see Hogsmeade.

"So far so good." I said, noticing the school up ahead. I wondered why I had my lightsaber. It doesn't seem like I needed it now.

The first years moved away from the swarm as the older students headed towards Hogwarts gates. Kurt walked with the others wondering exactly if they would end up being sorted as well, neither Eamonn nor Quatre and told them what to expect.

"Only safe once we're inside," he then said.

"Kurt Wagner II, Daniel Masaki, this way if you please," came a female voice.

Kurt looked across to where Professor McGonagall was stood.

"We'll see you later," Quatre said.

"What is it, Professor?" I asked.

"I need to escort you to the sorting ceremony," Professor McGonagall told him. Dumbledore thought it unwise to send you across with the first years."

Kurt nodded and followed the professor.

It seems to me that no matter what cloak I was wearing, mine always seems to flow like a breeze. I find it cool, but at any rate, I'm glad to be sorted. I'd like to be Gryffindor (though kinda cliche), but in the end, I won't mind Slytherin or any of the others.

Professor McGonagall led them into the castle where the first years were already waiting to be sorted. Professor Dumbledore stood at the front of the great hall.

"I welcome you to another year at Hogwarts and as always we begin with the sorting," he said. "This year however we have two older students to sort first, Professor McGonagall if you please."

She now held a long scroll in her hands. "Masaki, Daniel," she said.

I walked up to the front, and noticed the Sorting Hat on a stool. I still can't believe that I'm actually to be Sorted...

Hmm, seems the Norns have already chosen your house for you, the sorting hat told him. I quite agree with them young Jedi, you can be sneaky bastard sometimes so I'll place you in...

"Slytherin!" the sorting hat called out.

The Slytherin table broke out into applause.

Oh well, good chances to hex the Big Threesome abound, I guess. I headed to the Slytherin table amid their cheering, and had to grin.

"Glad you're joining us," Eamonn grinned.

"Wagner II, Kurt," Professor McGonagall said, reading from the scroll.

There were murmurings about Kurts appearence as he headed up to the stool and almost as soon as the hat was placed on his head, the hat called out "Slytherin!"

He made his way over to the Slytherin table amid the applause.

"All together again, eh? That's good." I smirked.

"Fated to," Kurt grimaced.

Now the first years were being sorted, but Kurt took no notice.

My eyes traveled all over the place, and stopped at the Professors' table. "Hey Kurt, look over there."

A very toadish woman sat there, wearing a cardigan. "Look who's here..."

Kurt looked over. "Umbridge, fuck I hoped she would't be here," he muttered.

I chuckled. This is Harry's fifth year, with a few extra things, after all.

Dumbledore was stood up at the front giving his speech but Kurt took none of it in as he grumbled the fact that Umbridge was there. Before he had even realised it, food for the feast appeared on the table in front of them.

"Commence shovelling," Eamonn announced.

*'To our newcomers,' said Dumbledore in a ringing voice, his arms stretched wide and a beaming smile on his lips, 'welcome! To our old hands - welcome back! There is a time for speech-making, but this is not it. Tuck in!'

There was an appreciative laugh and an outbreak of applause as Dumbledore sat down neatly and threw his long beard over his shoulder so as to keep it out of the way of his plate - for food had appeared out of nowhere, so that the five long tables were groaning under joints and pies and dishes of vegetables, bread and sauces and flagons of pumpkin juice.*

I took some chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, carrot, bread and some dessert, then got down to eating. "Good."

"I always enjoy the start of year feast," Eamonn grinned.

Kurt was busy stuffing his face with a variety of food, he didn't look to interested in saying anything.

Soon enough, I was stuffed. Dumbledore then made his usual speech, before that Umbridge woman interrupted to make her boring speech. I knew enough of politics to read between the lines of her speech. The Ministry of Magic is interfering with the running of Hogwarts. Kurt and I know that it's only going to get worse as time goes on. I'd better practice my Force healing, because I know somewhere down the road that I'll be needing to write those stupid lines.

Eventually the feast was over and the students were taken the the respective houses. The Slytherin dungeon was pretty dark even with the lights on. Draco headed off to the fitfh year dorm while Shadow showed up and leapt into Kurts arms.

"So what do you guys think?" Kurt asked.

Eamonn shrugged, "You get used to it," he said yawning. "I'm going to hit the sack."

"Yeah, me too." I said, tired as well. Looks like our trunks are here. I went and changed to my nightclothes and then went under the covers of my bed.

Sleep took pretty much everyone quickly. Kurt slowly woke a few hours later, though he didn't know what time it was. Quatre poked his head into the closed curtain and grinned at him.

"I can always guess when you're about to wake," he said.

"I know," he said, sliding out of bed and putting his wizard robe on.

Since Quatre had already changed, he didn't need to wait for him.

"I have something to show you," the blond told him and they left the dorm.

Still asleep here.

The two walked out the front doors and into the fresh morning air. The sun was only just beginning to rise, the birds singing was all around them.

"Isn't it beautiful," Quatre said of the sunset.

"Yes it is," Kurt replied, resting his head on Quatre's shoulder. For the time it took for the sun to rise, Kurt could forget all his troubles. The sunrise was beautiful, it was unlike anything he had ever seen in his life.

Back in the Slytherin dorm, Eamonn was waking up.

The sun rose, and tickled my face. Groaning, I turned aside to the left, and then I decided that I'd just wake up. I stretched a little, then washed up and got dressed. I then waited for Eamonn...

"Hey Dan, sleep well?" Eamonn called out.

"Yeah." I said, smoothing out my sweater. "Let's get breakfast and our schedules."

"Sure," Eamonn nodded. "Just hope first lesson isn't DADA."

He then headed for the great hall.

DADA with Umbridge...I shudder at the thought. Even the Jedi know better than to do all theory and no practical. I headed down to the hall with Eamonn, having wished that we're the same age.

"Hey, mate." a kid came up to me. He has short blond hair, and blue eyes, and is pretty skinny, skinner than I am. He's freckled up the wazoo, too. "I'm Chris Conway."

"Daniel Masaki." We shook hands.

"I know. So where did you say you were from?"

"America. Specifically...the state of Georgia." I said, thinking quickly. "Came from Salem because my parents thought Hogwarts would be better."

"Yeah, it is. Most of the time." Chris said.

"What do you mean?" I asked, though I could guess.

"Last year," He looked around quickly and lowered his voice. "A student was killed during the Triwizard Tournament. Hufflepuff."

"Read something about that in the Prophet. Know what happened?"

"Not really. All I know is that Potter's involved, somehow. Some say You-Know-Who's back..."

"You believe that?" I asked.

"Yeah. My dad's a retired Auror. Says that he might be called up again if he starts things up again." Chris said. "I don't like it."

"Me neither." I said. "But we gotta do what we can to stop them. No matter what."

That's when I knew I found a friend. The two of us went into the Great Hall, where breakfast was served, and the Heads handed out schedules. I groaned. It looks like just about every class in Hogwarts.

"What you get--oh, we got the same." Chris said. "Blimey, that's a lot."

"Yeah, it is." I nodded. "DADA's first, though..."

"Hmm. I don't like the looks of that Umbridge toad..."

"Me neither."

Seeing them talking, Eamonn headed to the great hall alone. He expected Blaise to show up sooner or later.

We finished our meals, and soon were on our way to our first class: DADA. As third years, I'd expect us to learn something like curses and several dark creatures, like boggarts, but I suspected it was not to be...

Kurt sighed, the lesson was completely boring. Umbridge had to be the worst teacher he'd ever had to suffer with, there was no practical, just theory and he knew that would be all it was all year. The prince really wanted to hex her, but he knew he shouldn't. Since he'd mentally blocked out all the rubbish she had been telling them, he was glad once the lesson was over.

Ugh, now this class is worse than I thought. There's no hint of practicals anywhere, and practicals are necessary in order to get through life, in my opinion. I'm just going to have to help Chris with what I know about real DADA.

As Umbridge droned on and on, I really couldn't take it any more, and raised my hand.

"Yes, Mr. Masaki?" She trilled, in that girly voice of hers.

"What is the point?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" Her smile disappeared.

"Theory is fine and dandy. However, theory is nothing without some demonstration." I explained to her very clearly. "Especially considering that there are some very nasty things out there that we need to defend against."

"You, child, presume to know better than I?" She rounded on me, but I stood my ground. "What, pray tell would be out there that couldn't be defended with sufficient theory?"

"Lot's ma'am, lots." I smiled evilly, forcing her to take a step back. I could fry her right now, but I won't. "Tell me, will theory help, when you are faced with a dozen foes, all out for your blood? Do you really think that pretty words can save you from an attack by say...Dark wizards? or even dementors?"

"Why...you insolent child! 10 points from Slytherin!" She shouted, clearly flustered. I smirked again, irritating her.

Having made my point, I sat down, and pretended to listen for the rest of DADA...

"Oh thank you so much Masaki," Draco complained to Daniel after the lesson. "You are here one day and you already cost us ten points."

"Doesn't matter." I retorted. "I know what I stand for and I'll be damned if I let some toady woman deny it for stupid reasons like political correctness."

"She's trouble everyone knows that," Draco replied. "The rest of us just switch off during her lesson, why can't you."

I shrugged. "Just can't help it. Ahh, looks like we have double Potions with the Gryffindors."

A smirk crossed Draco's face. "Plenty of chances to knock point off Gryffindork," he said, heading toward the potions dungeons.

Ahh, to be on the recieving end of them. Fun, fun. At least Professor Snape is our head...

Kurt looked worryingly at his cauldren in front of him. He knew things were going to get messy and he feared that his fur would get covered in a nasty, sticky mess. Still it would probably be easy to get out, right?

Eamonn glared at Daniel as he entered.

I glared back. What?

Chris whispered. "Pretty brave of you, mate. Standing up to Miss Toad back there."

"Yeah." I smirked back. "Listen, I was thinking..."

"Yeah?"

But before I could talk my plan, Professor Snape came in.

Why do you always have to argue with everyone you meet, Eamonn replied.

Snape crossed the room to his desk, briefly glaring at Harry. "Today," he said in his usual cold, drawling voice. "We shall be brewing the draught of peace, I don't want any accidents."

Again he glared at the usual suspects.

I began to brew the potion, exactly as said on the board, wondering what new attack Snape will give to the Gryffindors, and especially Harry.

The room was rocked by a loud explosion, Seamus and Neville were stood covered in gloop from their cauldren. Snape was not pleased.

"What did I say before about accidents," he sneered. "Ten points will be deducted from Gryffindor."

Draco smirked.

Poor kid. My potion emanated wispy silver, declaring it complete.

Snape came over and looked at it. "Good, five points to Slytherin," he said before going over to Draco. "Excellent work as usual Mr Malfoy, another ten points to Slytherin."

Mine looks a bit better than the gits'...can't complain, though.

Draco grinned at him. Snape gave out more points to Slytherin and reluctantly gave five to Hermione.

"Now for homework you are to do an essay on the moonstone," Snape scowled at the students. "I want it on my desk first thing next lesson, no excuses. Class dismissed."

We went through Transfiguration (vanishing spells) and Charms (summoning review) and then it was dinner.

"So what did you think?" Chris asked me over steak.

"There should be better DADA teachers out there, wonder why Dumbledore had to pick Umbridge?" I griped.

"Yeah. I'd rather have my dad teach. He knew loads of stuff." Chris said.

"By the way, do you want to know a few real DADA stuff?" I asked, low enough that only he could hear.

"Like what?" Chris was intruged.

"Let's see..." I told him about a few curses that I know about, some dueling spells and tips (don't let your opponent catch your back, etc), and suggested some outside practical work, like the dueling club. I especially told him how important it was to learn Riddikulus and the Patronus Charm. "Especially Patronus. Never know when dementors might come."

"You sound like Moody last year. Constant Vigilance."

"I've had practice."

"Really? Do tell."

"I don't know...it's not something I'd enjoy."

"C'mon..."

"Well, there was the time when I met my grandfather, a dark Wizard, for the first time..." I started, modifying the duel whereever necessary.

Eamonn, Kurt and Quatre headed for the great hall for dinner.

Chris and I wondered how we're going to do the plan we made under Umbridge's nose as we travelled back upstairs for homework and lights out later on.

Once dinner was done with, the trio saw no need to stay in the great hall and head back down to the Slytherin dungeons.

The two of us flinged back and forth questions, tried to keep each other's papers as original as possible (fat chance) and just generally did homework until lights out.

Draco and Blaise were busily playing wizard chess as the trio got there. For Kurt it was his first real-life experiance of seeing it, it looked much better then it had in the film.

"Check mate," Blaise grinned.

"Gah," Draco scowled. "I'm going to my bed to do my homework alone."

"He is always such a bitter loser."

As lights went out, I managed to finish my essay on moonstones and worked on Vanishing Charms until I could reasonably Vanish mice. Chris was already asleep, but I was restless, and decided to explore the castle and figure out where I'd needed to go in order to help boost our DADA skills. Actually, I think it's better to wait til October, when I'm sure Harry will start up his DA classes...so I fell asleep.

On a very rare occasion, Eamonn was the first Slytherin to wake up and head out into the common room. The fireplace lit up as soon he entered, giving him enough light to do his homework. The young Jedi wanted to at least get some of it done bore breakfast, while he waited for the others to wake up.

*fastforward time*

For the next several weeks, it was routine. Harry seemed to have detention every week with Umbridge, and I gained quite a bit of magical education. The timeline was the same as in the book, but from a Slytherin, rather than Gryffindor perspective. My friendship with Chris grew, as we took dueling clubs together, training each other to the utmost. But soon, the Force started tickling me as October came closer, and with that, the first Hogsmeade weekend...

Kurt couldn't wait for the first trip to Hogsmeade, after reading so much a bout it in the books and seeing it in the film, he really wanted to see it in real life. Quatre couldn't wait to show him all the things there as they wandered off towards the village with Eamonn, Draco and Blaise in tow.

As Saturday rolled around, the Force was pointing me towards someplace in Hogsmeade. I could guess what it is, but I'd have to make sure that Eamonn and the others aren't following me. As Chris and I went down to the town, I used the Force to make sure they aren't following.

"So why do you want to go to Hog's Head, and not the Three Broomsticks again?" Chris asked.

I smiled. "I just had a hunch there. Trust me."

"Yeah, I do, mate, but blimey, you're scaring me."

The two of us headed into the pub, and ordered butterbeers. There was the bartender, and then a heavily cloaked person entered and sat down. Sooner or later, I had a feeling that other people would come...

The Slytherin group walked out of the sweet shop armed with sweets.

"Much better then the sweets I get at home," Kurt commented, stuffing a squirming chocolate frog into his mouth.

"Of course, these are wizard sweets after all," Blaise replied, watching Daniel and his friend heading into the Hog's Head. "Wonder what they're up to."

Eamonn looked across at the pub. "Stalking certain Gryffindorks again I think," he told him.

Students came in by twos and threes, starting with Harry and co. They kept coming until there were nearly thirty Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. Of course, they noticed us during Harry's speech, and we nearly got into a 15 on 1 duel.

"Hey, hey! No wands! No wands!" The bartender yelped and ducked as the Showdown at the Hog's Head went on.

"Really, guys." I said, my wand pointing at Harry. "Not every Slytherin is an arrogant bastard. We're sneaky, not stupid, unless you count Malfoy's cronies."

"How much did you hear?" Ron growled.

"Enough to know that this is exactly what we've been looking for. Someone to teach us DADA." Chris glared.

"Besides," I added, "We could sign that paper, and knowing Granger, you'll know if we squealed. Not to mention you can't forget what the Hat sang at the beginning of term. We must unify the houses if we're going to fight the Dark Side, even if it's just us two with you. I don't expect us to be friends or even you to trust us, but I do expect you to at least consider us as the lesser of evils."

Harry couldn't argue with the logic, and the others lowered their wands. "I'll find and hex you two into next week if you tell, that's a promise."

I smiled thinly. "Understood. Let me know when you figured out a place to train."

We signed the roll call, and also in twos and threes, we headed out back into Hogwarts.

"Wow, looks like they didn't get hexed," Blaise commented, watching them leave. "You owe me a butterbeer."

Draco scowled. "You're a sod Blaise, a complete sod," he remarked.

As Saturday rolled into Sunday, and Sunday into Monday, Umbridge has posted Educational Decree #23, which stated that all clubs, teams, meetings are illegal and would result in expulsion if unauthorized.

That's when Ron did hex me, but I retaliated with my favorite Electrical Curse, and sent his shocked body to the hospital wing. But Hermione cleared me (barely) when she pointed out that I would have had boils and other nasty ailments if I had snitched on them.

Anyway, Chris and I shrugged when we saw the Decree, and vowed to continue the plan we all set out: teach ourselves Defense skills.

"So what are up to today Masaki?" Draco asked with a grin.

"Nothing you need to care about, Malfoy." I said, giving him a nasty look. "C'mon. Chris, Lets leave him to play with his cronies."

Chris snickered a bit as the two of us headed to the library. I was recently interested in a subject that I know Umbridge will hate: Elemental Magic, like my Electrical Curse.

Draco smirked. "You mean your old friends right?" he replied.

"What friends?" Chris said. "All I see are a bunch of arrogant gits with think they're better than everyone else because of a stupid thing like blood. It's disgusting."

"Good one, Chris, I grinned, hi-fiving him. "Now, if you'll excuse us..."

We headed off, leaving Malfoy with his two goons.

"So what do I tell Eamonn and the other two then?" Draco called after him. "That you think they're arrogant gits?"

"Eamonn would understand where I come from!" I called back. "So would Kurt. If they don't like it, tough luck!"

"Tsk Masaki," Draco smirked. "No wonder you were sorted into Slytherin, you're quick to dump your 'friends' when it suits your aims."

I had to keep my temper down. No wonder the Gryffindors want to pound him every chance they get.

In the library, it was tough looking for books on elemental magic, almost to the point of not existing. Of course, there's the little common spells like Electriko and Incendio, but what I'm really looking for are the more potent ones, to arm ourselves against Voldemort and any other darksider he's with.

Chris and I came back together after searching for a while.

"There's nothing in any of the books, except for the usual spells." Chris said.

"Yeah, and there's no way we're able to get to the Restricted Section, not with Umbridge around." I shook my head.

"Hmph. Let's get some dinner, then." Chris said, and the two of us went to the Great Hall to eat.

While snacking on some treacle tarts, I got an astonishing surprise: Lincoln gave me a letter from Dad.

Hey kiddo, long time no see. When my sources told me you landed yourself in Hogwarts, I nearly choked on my pretzels. I would have pegged you for a Gryffindor, but I think Slytherin suits you more, being the sneaky kid you are. Anyway, I hope you're doing well there and learning lots (though Umbridge leaves much to be desired; I'd sack anyone in the Senate who wanted to interfere in the Academy, ;)). Oh yeah, Dumbledore already knows, but my intel sources indicated that Voldemort has gathered an ally. I don't know who, but all the same, keep on your guard, and watch Mr. Potter carefully. Well, that's all for today. I'll let you know what's new any way I can. May the Force be with you.

When Chris read it, he seemed a bit confused. "Who is your dad, anyway? He sounds like a Minister or something with the 'intel' stuff."

Hmm. Time to tell the truth to Chris, since I sense I could trust him. In a hushed voice only he could hear: "Don't tell another soul until I'm ready, but I'm not really from America. Do you know a continent called Coredia? No? My dad's the Emperor, and he and I are what we call Jedi, powerful blokes who can use an energy field called the Force, kinda like magic."

"Whoa, cool." Chris whispered, stunned.

"Yeah. Eamonn and to a lesser extent, Kurt, are Jedi as well. We were...sent here. I don't know what for, but we'll know in time." I said. I hope it's soon...

As if on cue on Daniels words, an explosion ripped through the teachers tower, sending it crashing to the ground in a cloud of dust and debris. The rest of Hogwarts shuddered violently. In the upper floors of the castle students and staff were thrown to the ground. The great hall fell into chaos as some of the younger students screamed. There were also shouts of 'Death Eaters' as some students ran for the doors to get out.

Elsewhere Kurt and Quatre, who had been at the lake, saw the tower go down.

"Oh shit," the prince swore. "This is not good."

"Oh hell, this is not good!" I said. I sprang into action, raising my wand high, and shouted, "Accio lightsaber!"

Soon, a silver cylinder flew into the window and into my hand. It's time to find out what happened, who did it, and bring him to justice, or my name isn't Daniel Alexander Masaki...

As Kurt and Quatre headed back to the castle, they saw bewildered students streaming from the front doors. Behind them they could hear several explosions from the direction of Hogsmeade.

"Shit this is not good, not good at all," Kurt grimaced.

Eamonn and Draco made their way into the dining hall, fighting past several other students. The black haired boys eyes crossed the panic striken hall until he found Daniel. "Daniel over here," he yelled.

I pushed aside several students, running towards them. "You guys ok?"

"As fine can be in all this," Eamonn replied. "Someone blew up the teachers tower."

"And we all know who's behind it," Draco said with a sneer. "Voldemort."

A nearby second year girl squeaked with fright at the mention of the name.

I nodded, thinking quickly. "If he's done this, then there's no time to lose. I wasn't going tell you guys, but Harry Potter, a couple days ago, just decided to begin some kind of defense club that was originally to be in rebellion against Umbridge. If you don't want to do it, then you can face Voldemort (a couple of first-years flinched) alone, is that understood? Good. Here's what we do. We start up this defense club for as many surviving students as we can handle -yes, even Gryffindors, Malfoy- and we train them in the spells we can use to defend ourselves against the Dark Side."

"Make no mistake, this is perhaps the biggest and deadliest challenge Hogwarts has ever faced . We must be prepared to fight back, no matter what." I said, steel in my voice.

"Kurt, round up Harry and his friends and inform them of my decision. Draco, get to the owlery immediately and inform the Ministry. Demand they send Aurors! Quatre, Chris, raid the library of as many defense books as you can, even the Restricted section, nevermind the librarian's complaints. Eamonn, you and I are going to find out which teachers have survived. We need Dumbledore alive if at all possible." I took a breath and scratched out a hasty letter informing Dad of the explosion. "Lincoln, go to my father and give him this letter, now!"

He hooted, and sped out the window.

"Let's get to work!" I ordered.

"Figures Potter would restart his little fanclub," Draco remarked and walked off in the direction of the owlery.

Kurt nodded and teleported away.

The others headed off with Daniel.

I headed towards the Professors' tower, messing with Peeves (who's really enjoying all this) along the way.

"Professors!" I shouted, tossing aside boulders with telekinesis and the Banishing charm. "If you can hear me, answer!"

There was nothing, no human sounds, no moaning, no calling out for silence. Another explosion rocked the building and some boulders came crashing down.

"This isn't good," Eamonn said, dodging a few of the falling boulders.

"Indeed it isn't Mr Jarlath," came a voice from behind them.

Eamonn looked around to see Professor McGonagal stood in the doorway, Filch and Professor Snape were stood beside her.

"We are evacuating the students," she said. "You two must go with them."

I was quite relieved as we headed down. "Professor, is there any sign of Professor Dumbledore?"

"I'm afraid not," Professor McGonagal said. "We believe he was in his tower at the time of the explosion."

My face was grim as we headed out. "Now what happens?"

"There is not alot we can do," the professor said, her face cold and grim. "The Aurors will soon be arriving from the ministry so you had best join your classmates."

"Come on," Eamonn said, heading out through the dust covered corridor.

"All right." I said, thinking about the defense club as I headed out with Eamonn.

The two professors didn't follow as the two boys headed toward the front doors of the castle. There they saw Draco returning from the owlery, his face was rather grim much like the professors.

"They're dead aren't they?" the blond Slytherin asked.

"Professors McGonagall and Snape are alive. So is Filch. Don't know about the others, and Dumbledore is unaccounted for so far." I said. "I can only hope he's still around..."

Even though I hated Umbridge, as a Jedi, I still don't want to wish death on even the likes of her.

"From what I saw in the owlery it is unlikely that anyone survived in the teachers tower," Draco said.

Before anyone could say anything more another loud explosion rocked the castle.

"Shit," Eamonn swore. "What now?"

"We leave," Draco told him.

"Ok. Is Kurt around?" I asked.

"Ok. First off, we need to figure out where to go." I said. "By the way, is Kurt around?"

"Last I saw he was fighting off curses from Potter and Weasel," Draco sneered. "Should be scraping Gryffindors off the floor by now."

An explosion of purple smoke announced Kurt's entrance. "Fucking Gryffindorks," he spat. "Next time Daniel, I'll tell you to go after them yourself."

I sighed. It was too much to hope that Gryffindors and Slytherins would fight side by side against the Dark Side, and with the Norns interfering, it's a lost cause. It'd just be me, Eamonn and Kurt, I guess. Now that Hogwarts is destroyed, I wondered where will we be going now.

Kurt burped up a frog and scowled as it hopped away. "I really don't think I hexed them enough," he said, rubbing his mouth as the frog had left a nasty taste.

"Let me guess, they decided that because you were a Slytherin you just had to be a Death Eater," Draco pointed out.

"Seems that way," the prince replied and headed for the front doors which had been left wide open, wondering where they could go.

OOC: Go ahead and get them to where they can go for now. be back tomarrow.

Kurt closed his eyes and listened. He could hear the shouts of the villagers dealing with the dead and injured in Hogsmeade, but that wasn't where the other students were headed. Maybe there was a safe haven for the students just in case Hogwarts was attacked, perhaps it was across the lake, that could be where they needed to go. Nearby he heard Hagrid yell, it sounded just like on the platform when he wanted the first years to follow him. Quickly he searched for where Hagrids voice had come from, once that was done he grab the others and teleported them in that direction.

"Blimey!" Hagrid said as they appeared in front of the half-giant and the other students. "Thats most students accounted for now."

"How many students are still alive?" I asked Hagrid.

"All but ten 'ave been accounted for," Hagrid told him. "Guess we're lucky in that regard."

"There were targeting the teachers rather then the students," Draco said. "Knew the students would panic."

"Yeah, and with Professor Dumbledore still unaccounted for, Professor McGonagall has a big job ahead of her, that's for sure." I frowned.

"Thats right," Hagrid agreed. "An' the prefects an' I 'ave to look after you lot."

"We just wait here?" Draco asked him.

Hagrid nodded. "Safest place for you lot," he said. "No Death Eater can get us here."

With nothing to do but keep watch over the younger students, I leaned against a wall, crossed my arms and entered a meditation state, stretching out my feelings to call upon the Force, ask it for advice.

"Well we've lost Dan again," Eamonn remarked, sitting down on a nearby rock.

Draco looked up and saw Ron and Hermione glaring at them, he could see Harry sat against something with his eyes closed. Through the mass of students, Quatre and Chris emerged pushing their way through.

"Glad to see you're all here," Quatre said.

"We got a few books, but the library started caving in." Chris said, dropping some books. "Managed to recover some Elemental magic books."

"Yeaa, we were lucky really," Quatre added. "Madam Pince helped us get out, mind you she wasn't pleased to see us in there in the first place."

Finished meditating, I returned to reality, such as it is. "Ah, good. Here's what I think we should do. 1st through 3rd years will pair up and start practicing Disarming and Stunning, as well as the Shield charm, among other basic defense spells. The rest of us will freshen up with more advanced spells. I think that would be a good start."

If only everyone will at least agree...

"Better keep the Slytherins to themselves," Hagrid pointed out, glaring at Draco.

"What spells do we do?" Kurt asked.

"Let's see..." I ran through a few I know already. "Let's just do some duels, see how much we know already."

"Harry Potter, heads up!" I yelled as I whipped out my wand. "Congelatore!"

That, was the Freezing Charm, and it turns my opponent into a block of ice if it hit. A jet of ice-cold blue light shot forth from my wand...

Harry quickly held up his wand and muttered a word, dispelling Daniels spell. Before his apponant could try again, he yelled "Expelliarmus!"

I dodged the spell. "You'll have to do better than that to defeat me, Potter!"

"Petrificus Totalus!!" I yelled, sending a jet of red magic at Harry.

Harry scowled as he ducked the spell. "Tarantallegra!" he then yelled.

"Always a show off," Eamonn remarked. "Both of them."

He's pretty fast! I thought as I was hit, forcing my legs to dance. I discreetly used the Force to dispel the curse, and sent a more powerful curse at Harry: "Furnunculus!"

Harry deflected the spell and it hit Ron in the face. Ron was quickly covered in boils.

"You'll need to do better then that Masaki," Harry was quick to say. "Densaugeo!"

I deflected that spell towards Malfoy, and sent Jelly Legs at Potter.

Draco knew from experiance to duck and the spell harmlessly hit a rock behind him, he sneered in Daniels direction. Harry could feel his legs turn to jelly and struggled to keep upright.

"Accio wand!" he yelled.

"Hey!" I yelped as my wand flew out of my hand. However, I grinned...as I put up a hand, and called the wand back to me with my telekinesis.

"Hah! Don't think this is over yet! Stupefy!" I shouted, sending a bolt of red light at Harry.

Harry yelled "Stupefy," back just before the spell hit him and sent him to the ground.

I dodged the red bolt, ending the duel with a salute. Looks like Potter needs more practice dueling if he is to face the Death Eaters.

"Blimey, aren't you a lucky guy, defeating Harry Potter!" Chris grinned.

I chuckled and revived him with a wave of my wand. "Yeah, but he still wasn't all that easy. With a little more practice, he could give even me a challenge. Let's see what's in the elemental magic books."

Chris nodded, and picked up Earth, Fire, Air, Water: The Wizard's Guide to Elemental Magic by Napoleon Etherea. Both of us then started reading the book...

"You cheated," Draco remarked. "You cheated to beat Potter, I like that."

Hermione and Ron helped Harry away.

"Actually, I didn't." I smirked. "I beat him fair and square with the powers that I possess within me, magic and otherwise. If I wanted to cheat, I'd use those other powers exclusively. Of course, in a real duel with an evil git," Like you, I thought. "All bets are off."

Draco smirked. "You used that force thing because you were about to lose, in a wizarding duel that is cheating." he pointed out. "Watch it, you have the power to get very dark if you don't control yourself." The Slytherins face had gone very cold.

I raised an eyebrow and looked up from the Whirlwindia Curse. "You think I don't know that I have the potential to become evil? You're preaching to the choir, Malfoy, especially coming from a family of Voldemort supporters."

"Well in that case I'll be seeing you on the darkside," Draco replied, quickly raising his eyebrows. "We don't all follow in our parents footsteps you know. You think you know whats going on here, but you don't."

"Enlighten me, then." I challenged, though Chris poked me to break off contact.

"One, you seem to think I'm evil, two you seem to think Potter's good," Draco replied.

"Everyone knows he's the Dark Prince," Cho Chang said, over hearing the conversation.

"Oh no," Kurt groaned, smacking his forehead with a hand.

Kurt! Don't tell me your imagination got the best of you again! I sent the blue-furred boy. I had half a mind to give him a Balding Jinx now. Chris was nodding at the confirmation of the news.

"Ok, since I've been "away", please tell me the story." I said, thinking that perhaps elemental curses would be more necessary than ever now.

Hey I didn't know reading fanfics would have this sort of effect, who would have known that? Kurt protested, folding his arms.

"Started over a year ago," Draco began. "Those horrible muggles he lived with apparently beat him badly, they soon turned up dead. The Daily Prophet ran a story saying it was Potter behind it, but the Ministry denied it and claimed it had been Sirius Black who killed them to try and kill Potter."

"Harry of course disappeared for a month," Cho added. "In that time the Dark Prince showed up, with the Death Eaters in tow."

Draco just nodded.

"Hmm." My mind clicked, suspecting what may have happened a year ago after the Tournament. In this alternate Harry Potter world, Harry must have joined up with Voldemort, not that different from some fanfics I read about Master Skywalker joining Darth Vader, and fallen to the Dark Side. "I see. This changes things. What about the other Gryffindors?"

"Who knows," Draco shrugged. "Maybe they do know or maybe they don't believe him. Either way he has them eating out of his hand."

He and Cho looked to where a large crowd of Gryffindor's had gathered around Harry to see if he was Ok.

"I didn't knock him out that badly." I scowled, knowing that Enerverate is the countercurse to Stunner. I shrugged, and went back to learning the various spells of Elemental magic.

Cho shook her head and walked back to her gang of Ravenclaws.

"She used to have her eye on Quatre until she found out he was gay," Eamonn remarked.

"Pretty cool stuff, eh?" Chris asked.

"Yeah. Excellent for DADA." I agreed. "Well, all we need is a place to practice these spells..."

"Plenty of places around here," Draco pointed out.

"Yeah. We'll need somewhere open, so as to not hurt other students." I said. "How about the Quiddich Field?"

Hagrid shook his head. "Too close to the school," he pointed out.

"Drat. Ok, let's see. Any other place we could do it?" I asked.

"I suppose yer could head fer higher ground," Hagrid suggested.

"Yeah, we could." I said, looking around at the rolling hills of Scotland. "Anyone got a map?"

The others just looked at each other.

"Do you really need one?" Eamonn asked.

A small sweatdrop travelled down my head. "Uh, I guess not. Let's hike to that hill over there, then."

I pointed to a nearby hill lightly dotted with trees.

Eamonn looked up, "Looks good to me," he agreed.

"Ok, then. You guys ready?" I said, cradling the book under my arm.

"Don't think we can get any more ready," Eamonn admitted.

Draco picked up his stuff and began to head off.

"Let's go, then." I said, and started walking with Chris, what's left of our trunks magicked behind us.

Draco quietly walked ahead of the others. Kurt and Quatre walked together.

"I wonder whats happened to the others," Eamonn said.

"I don't know." I said. "Shouldn't at least few others be with us?"

"Well I was hoping they were," Kurt said.

Quatre shook his head. "You two are the first that we've seen since the Norns place," he told them.

"Maybe it's because of our powers." I said. "I'm a Jedi, and so is Kurt, with his teleportation ability."

"So am I," Eamonn pipped in.

"But I'm here and I don't have any powers," Quatre pointed out.

I shrugged. "You had anything odd happen to you before you knew you were a wizard? Uncanny luck, weird things happening around you, things like that?"

Quatre shook his head. "Nope nothing," he said.

"Hmm. Wonders, wonders." I said. Soon, we were at the hill that I specified.

"Ok. This looks safe enough." I said, looking around. "All right. Let's start."

Elemental Magic is a specialized branch of magic that is often considered to be one of the most primal, like wandless magic. Before the days of wands, it was the primary means of combat magic during wizard duels and ancient wars. Now, much of its secrets have been lost to time, until now. By reawakening the power of the elements, I have chosen a powerful skill to learn, something not usually given to students below NEWT level because of its very nature. By necessity, it has been determined by me and Chris to learn the powerful spells contained within this book. And to teach the others around me to control it.

"This book says that each person has a primary affilation for each element." I said, beginning. "It is the element that is most potent when used by said person. I'm more affilated with Fire, and Chris goes towards Air. We'll have to see what you guys are."

"Quick temper means fire right?" Eamonn asked, grinning at Kurt.

"Bite my furry blue arse," the prince scowled at him.

"See," he grinned. "Draco would be water."

"Yeah." I nodded. "And you two?"

"Quatre would be earth," Draco suggested. "He spent enough time out in the gardens in the first summer for him to be at one with it."

"And Eamonn would be air since his head is so full of it," Kurt smirked.

"Fuck you," Eamonn scowled.

I just smiled and shook my head. "Ok, we got the elements down. Now let's practice the spells."

I swiftly pointed my wand at a tree and shouted, "Conflagerio!"

A large fireball erupted from my wand and burned the tree. Then I used the Water Jet Charm to wash the cinders out. The ashes were then blown away by a Windy Curse. And finally, I cracked the ground with a well-placed Earthquake Curse.

"You guys try." I smirked.

Draco was first to try. "Conflagerio!" he called out, pointing to the tree. He then did the same spells as Daniel.

One after the other, the other three did the same.

"I like the spells, well done Dan," Quatre congradulated.

"Good job. That was the easiest part." I said as Chris finished off with a strong Tornado Curse. "Now, it gets harder, because now, you have to combine elements. For example, Fire and Air creates Thunderbolt."

Concentrating on the two elements, I whirled my wand overhead and shouted, "Fulmenis!"

CRACK! Ka-BOOM! A bright bolt of lightning shot forth from my wand and fried the next tree, splitting it in half in a shower of splinters.

"It also happens to be my specialty curse." I said proudly. "Anyway, you have to think about the elements you want to combine and concentrate on them together, otherwise it won't work properly. The book has the spells you can create by combining the elements."

Kurt smirked. "Shouldn't be too hard for me to do considering my godbrother," he announced and held up his wand. "Fulmenis!"

A bolt of lightning shot from his wand and finished off the unfortunate tree.

"Not bad." I said. "Let's do the other ones, then."

I showed Chris how to do the Freezing Charm I used on Potter, and then we worked on the other spells, but avoided the three-element and full-element spells, because those are more intensive to use than the two-elements.

"I think we should return," Eamonn said. "All these destructive spell are probably going to attract unwanted attention."

"All right, then." I agreed, ending the lesson with Finite Incantatem, which didn't do much about the damage done to the landscape. I picked up the book, which seemed to keep dry during the wet portions and Chris and I headed back down to the auxiliary student hall.

As they decended on the makeshift school hall, they saw that there were a few Aurors around. A couple of them were talking to Hagrid and Professor McGonnagal.

"I hope this is good news," Draco quietly said.

I nodded, as I tried to catch what the Professors and Aurors were saying...

"It should now be safe to return to the castle," one of the Aurors was saying.

"Yer sure?" Hagrid asked.

"Positive," the other Auror said. "Any Death Eaters are long gone."

Good, good. I thought. But what I really want is some word on Professor Dumbledore...and that phoenix of his, Fawkes.

"We'll be staying in Hogsmeade should we be needed," the female Auror said before turning to leave for the village.

"Listen students," Professor McGonnagal said, clapping her hands to hush the students. "It is now safe for us to return to the castle, your house prefects will lead you to your common rooms. Do not go anywhere else other then to your common rooms."

"You heard her," Draco smirked at the others. "Follow me."

"Lead on, oh Great Prefect!" I joked, sending Chris into a fit of laughter.

Draco muttered something about 'big headed Jedi's' as he walked off with the others following. Fortunately the Slytherin dungeons were undamaged, save for a bit of dust here and there. Once inside, most Slytherins headed back to their dorms.

Well, I suppose there's nothing left to do but take a shower and go to bed, so I did so, immediately falling asleep due to the exciting and exhausting events of the day.

Eventually the others went to sleep on empty stomachs. That meant they would awake the next day pretty hungry. Eamonn slid out of bed, dressed in his robes and headed for the common room to see who else was awake.

The next morning, I got up and stretched a bit, getting the night out of my joints before putting on my robes and washing up. I came into the Common Room humming "Double Double Toil and Trouble" at double tempo.

"Morning, Eamonn, Chris." I greeted them.

"Good sleep?" Chris asked.

"Yup." I nodded. "What's up today?"

"No lessons," Eamonn said. "I think they might be closing Hogwarts for a while."

"Not surprisingly." I said. I just hope we won't have to face Dark Wizards in the process...

"They also haven't mentioned the fate of the other teachers," Eamonn then added. "At least that'll give rise to the hope that Dumbledore's alive."

"Yeah, I'm still hoping that he's survived the bombing." I said. "He's the only one who can effectively rally the wizarding world against the likes of Voldemort."

"Now that, I can agree with." Chris said. "My dad...he's an Auror. It's going to be tough to deal with it if..."

"Yeah, I know." I said, thinking of my own dad. Chris and I are alot alike, though with different parentages. We both come from families that actively fight against the Dark Side, and that gives us a strong bond together.

"He'll be alive," came Draco's voice. "Something like that couldn't kill the wizard who defeated Grindlewald."

Draco appeared in the doorway, his hair was a mess and his robes looked as if they're spent the night on the floor.

"Let's hope so, Draco, let's hope so." I said.

"I guess it would make sense to prepare to leave for home," Draco then said, flopping down on an armchair. "Apparently the kitchen was gutted so they can't make food in there now."

"Oh boy," While I could last quite a while without food, even I don't find it very comfortable.

"Exactly," Draco nodded, agreeing with what Daniel meant. "I'm hoping they'll let us go to Hogsmeade."

"That'd be good." To pass the time, I decided to tell a little story, with some changes. "Let me tell you guys about the time that I was sent on a mission to deal with a gang of unscrupulous drug dealers and other criminals..."

"Well as long as it takes my mind off my stomach," Draco muttered.

I embellished on the story. Basically, I was sent by the Jedi Council to investigate a series of murders on Coredia (Earthside) and infiltrated the largest criminal gang, as I suspected them. Well, I met my first girlfriend there, and then cooked up a plan to take down the leadership of the gang, who were involved in a plot to kill the President of Coredia. Needless to say, the plan was botched and I was captured and tortured. I still bear the scars, but I never let it get to me, never chose to lash out in anger. Oddly enough, the girl who ended up rescuing me was named Lily. Anyway, with more experience about the gang and some nifty swordplay, I finally battered down the doors of the gang leader's mansion with a SWAT team ("Kind of like Aurors, but with guns and stuff") in tow and forced him to surrender and face multiple charges of murder, grand larceny, and a couple dozen others. Lily and I didn't hit it off all that well in the end, though, but she did give me a farewell kiss.

"So there I was, a breeze ruffling my cloak as she sped off into the distance." I ended with a sigh. "She did find her family, though, and that was good."

"Interesting," Draco said, heading for the door but before he got there, the door flew open and a green bolt hit him square in the chest.

"Oh shit," Eamonn yelled, standing up as Draco hit the ground with a loud thump.

Two masked figures dressed all in black entered the Slytherin common room.

I felt and saw Malfoy die once Avada Kedavara hit him. It was sudden, too sudden.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!" I ordered with the full power of the Force in my voice, whipping out my wand, ready to fire a Thunderbolt at them.

"You bastards," Eamonn yelled, raising his wand.

One of the figures shot a green bolt at Daniel.

I swiftly dodged the curse and unleashed a double Thunderbolt, one after another. The room crackled with electricity with each blast.

A green bolt shot from behind them and hit one of the figures sending it to the ground. The other was struck down by Daniels thunderbolts and lay in a smoking heap on the floor.

"Fuck Dan, they tried the killing curse on you," Eamonn swore.

"Where there's two there's more," came the voice of a seventh year boy behind them.

"Let's find out who these guys are." I said coldly and reached for their masks. "What's your name, by the way?"

"James," the seventh year replied, ripping the mask off the figure he'd AK'd. "Shit, it's the Weasley kid. Bet the other ones Potter or..."

"Hermione," Eamonn said, removing the mask.

"Damn." The beautiful, smart girl was charred flesh now. Such is the war of dark vs light, that I must destroy beloved characters from a great book series.

"Well, Harry Potter, your friends have just been killed." I whispered, as I closed the girl's eyes. "How far have you gone now? How much further will you go?"

Chris was in the restroom when it happened and he cursed when he came back and saw the carnage. "This is the work of Voldemort (a few flinched), I know it."

"Yeah." I said, checking my lightsaber. "Let's get him once and for all."

There was a cough from behind them. "Thats what happens... when a weasel uses a killing curse with a hand me down wand," a weak voice said.

Draco was still lying on the ground, blood had formed around his lips.

We ran to Draco. "Are you all right?"

"I think, my friend, you've just become as popular as the Boy Who is Now Evil." I remarked.

Draco coughed up blood. "You mean the bastard who wasted his mothers love," he groaned. "I'm just lucky it was Weasel rather then the mudblood."

I scowled at his language, but let it go. "Yeah. One wonders who's next here. Is the hospital wing still standing? By the way, is Kurt around?"

"Must have woken up before us as his and Quatre's beds were empty," Eamonn said. "James go find Snape."

James nodded and left the common room.

As we waited for Professor Snape, I contemplated what just happened. By forcing me to kill his best friends, Potter has just signed his own death warrant, that's for sure. After that I'd take some perverse pleasure in seeing Voldemort himself blasted apart...what am I talking about? Don't go down that path, kid. Once you slip, it'd be hard to keep hold.

James soon came back with Professor Snape in tow. The professer quickly went over to Draco, ignoring the two bodies. He carefully picked Draco up who could only groan.

"I'll take him to the hospital wing," he said. "You go to Hogsmeade and find the Aurors, most of all be careful." And then he carried Draco out of the common room.

"Come on," Eamonn said to the others before racing out the room.

Chris and I followed Eamonn out into the corridors, wands out and ready for anything.

"Hey James? I've been meaning to ask you." I said. "How did you unleash a proper Killing Curse like that? That was some power you have there."

"My father wanted me to follow in his footsteps," James admitted. "He forced me to practice the unforgivables at least two hours a day. Of course he ended up going to Azkaban for having a stash of illegal dark artifacts."

"Mmm. Tough life." I said. It'd be like me being forced to use Lightning and Choke to kill...

Soon, we were heading out the doors and down towards the wizard town.

A puff of purple smoke erupted and suddenly Kurt and Quatre were stood in front of them.

"Whats going on?" Kurt asked. "McGonnagal wouldn't let us go back to the common room and some of the first years say theres two bodies in there."

"The Dark Prince sent two of his cronies after us," Eamonn said.

"Shit," Kurt swore.

"Guess the names of the dead." I added bitterly.

"No way," Kurt said, his eyes widening. "That is so the last time I read any fics."

"Least one good thing has come out."

"Er, what are fics?" Chris whispered to me.

"Just a little something that he's obsessed with." I whispered back.

"Oh." Chris still wasn't sure what Kurt meant.

Hogsmeade villagers were still cleaning up after the bombings, but now, it seems a little better.

"They're stories," Kurt told him. "I'm not obsessed with them, I just read a few when I'm bored."

"Hey if it isn't blue," Came a female voice.

"Tonks right?" Kurt asked as a young lady stepped out in front of him.

"The one and only," she replied. "What can I do for you?"

"Voldemort has struck again." I reported. "This time, it is Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who are the victims. It seems that they were under the control of the Dark Lord or his Prince when they attacked and nearly killed Draco Malfoy and me. I struck Ms. Granger down, and my friend James took out Mr. Weasley. These are truly dark times, madam."

Tonks closed her eyes. "Oh no," she said. "You guys stay here, I'll gather up the other Aurors." And with that she run off.

Eamonn looked over at Daniel. "So do we stay here?" he asked.

"Yeah, we stay." I nodded. "Keep an eye out for anyone suspicious."

"Does that mean we can go get something to eat as well?" Kurt asked. "I'm starving."

"Yeah. Let's head to the Three Broomsticks, if it's there."

"Should be," James said walking out ahead.

The Three Broomsticks were in fact still there and as they entered a witch came up to them.

"Oh my poor dears you look hungry," she said. "Sit down, sit down I'll fetch you butterbeers and English breakfasts."

As she darted off they went to sit down.

"Good stuff, butterbeer." I commented.

"Mmhmm. Nothing else like it." Chris added.

Butterbeers and a full English breakfast soon appeared in front of them. Kurt quickly dug into some bacon and fried egg.

James raised an eyebrow at the princes eating manners.

So did Chris, who turned a little green as he ate.

"Get used to it." I said to them both as I ate into my breakfast. "Kurt, slow down before you choke on something."

"What?" Kurt protested. "I'm fucking hungry, I use up alot of energy when I teleport."

"Ok, ok." I said in mock surrender and finished the rest of my meal in peace.

"Do you think they found him yet?" Eamonn asked breaking the silence.

"Who, Voldemort?" I asked.

Eamonn quickly shook his head. "No, I meant the Dark Prince," he said.

"Probably not," James told him. "We'd have heard by now."

"Knowing Harry, he's as crafty as any Slytherin." I said. "Invisibility cloak, Marauder's Map and other things, he can still deal much damage here."

Eamonn, Kurt and I would be able to feel his presence in the Force if he's under the cloak, but I know that the others won't.

"The trick here, would be to outmaneuver him into a position from where we could deal with him." I said. "Chris will be my second and finish him off if I don't succeed in dueling him. However, it is imperative that he be captured alive this time, for he'd be quite acquainted with the Death Eaters and Voldemort himself by now."

"Knowing how powerful he is, you'll need at least a third," James warned. "With darkness he is more powerful."

"He can't take us all on at once," Eamonn said.

"Yeah, we all have a stake in this, Dan." Chris added.

"Thanks, guys." I smiled softly. "Eamonn's my third. Let's begin planning, then."

"Well I'm hoping it doesn't get that far then," Eamonn said dryly. "I'm sure if we can surround him we could take him down quickly."

"Yeah. Two Stunners ought to do it without trouble." I said.

Eamonn nodded.

"Then we would just have to bait him out," James said.

"Hmm. What would bring Potter out more than anything else?" I asked. "I don't suppose the death of his friends would do it?"

"Actually I'd think he would be out hunting us right now," James said, leaning back in the chair and folding his arms. "Of course he would be hiding himself since everyones out looking for him, so he'll be waiting, biding his time for the right moment."

"Yeah, darksiders tend to be like that." I said dryly.

"He could be anywhere," Kurt sighed. "So far I can't sense him anywhere near us."
