The 500 soldiers walked up a hill and came upon their target. The airport. The SOET had circled around the airport and would assault it from the other side. The JOAP tanks were waiting within firing distance.

The commander of this group pulled up his binoculars and scanned the airport.

"Doesn't look like any activity. There are civilian vehicles but no NK vehicles. It should be as easy to take as Wonsan was."

He ordered everyone to move out and they walked over the hill and down towards the airport, weapons ready in case it was a trap. A few soldiers noted some figures out in the bushes, but new that they were SOET.

OOC: Alright, I'm a bit tied up now so I cannot check every attack in my nation. Ogle, Sigma, and Ruhr, since you three are essentially the only ones that are attacking, I will need to know what side you are attacking? (east or west), a list of cities/ports/bases that you have captured, and the same for which ones your forces are currently attacking or are en route to attack (not ones you plan on). I will also need to know what type of forces are attacking the areas (planes/tanks/ground). Also..if I missed responding to any past attacks, please list them as well so that I can post responses and damage reports..I'd hate to know that you wasted a good attack and it just went unnoticed. Thank you..

Okay, so an update.

Haesan Airport, Wonsan, North Korea

"Are the explosives ready?"

"Yes sir lieutenant, the explosives are set to detonate the MiG hangar by our squad engineer."

"Good..let's move on ou-.." Lt. Sae Kim was cut off when gunfire began sounding from the position where his troops were. The sound was returned with even more gunfire from an unknown source, his radio blarred out,

"We're under attack! Return fire! Return fire!" Sae and the six others immediately took cover and fire from unseen positions. His twenty-man force was divided with seven at the MiG hangar and thirteen nearby some recently erected defenses. Bullets suddenly came from the back of the lieutenant's position, claiming the lives of two of his men.

"Sh-t! We're surrounded!.."

"Stand your ground!..Do-" Was the only words that came out of Sae as a bullet enters through his throat, four more hitting his chest.

"CO's down! CO's down!"

"Lt's been hit!..." The radio conversation between the Loyalist troops were of pure chaos of men shouting over the other or just yelling as bullets found their marks. Sergeant Ling was now in command, still stuck with the remaining three at the hangar. Staying here was suicide to his opinion, the best would be to move out to the main body of troops.

"2nd Separation..Move out! We gotta make it to the main body!....Come on! Move! Move! Move!!" Ling and the others then began to make a mad dash for the main body lines. Ling had lost all his sense besides just being able to run, he made it..two of his troopers weren't so lucky...

"Out of ammo!" PFC Young exclaimed, she turned her gaze and caught a clip tossed by a fellow infantryman. She loaded back up and begin taking single shot fires at any definite sources of enemy fire she could find.

The soldiers were walking towards the airport when gunfire rang out from a nearby building. 2 soldiers fell and the rest took cover behind anything nearby and began returning fire. They couldn't see what they were firing at, so just fired at any figures in buildings. There could be an entire company here for all they knew.

The JOAPs lumbered over the hill and aimed their cannons at the buildings in which the gunfire was coming from.

4 squads of SOET were seen in the distance, entering the airport.

OOC: No gunfire in the buildings, all the NK troops are outside.

"I'm out!" Another spare clip was tossedfor the depleted rifleman. Two men were immediately taken down by gunfire, Lance Corporal Yoo crawled on over to the sergeant.

"Sir!..All possible escape routes are cut off! We're running low on ammo and troop strength!"

"How many do we have left?"

"There are eight of us left sir, the casualties are all dead!...We're in danger of being overrun!" Sergeant Ling thought it over for a moment, his immediate response being,

"Is that engineer still around?.."

"Yes sir..why?" He grabbed Yoo by the collar,

"Well tell him to blow that damn hangar up now!" Ling decided to do it himself and yelled at the engineer to trigger the explosives. The engineer complied and flipped a remote switch, the hangar blowing up in a giant field of flames.

The Sergeant was without choice, he took out a spare t-shirt, some bloodstains on it but it would be good enough. He tied the white shirt to his barrel and began waving it wildly in the air. His troops suddenly stopped firing, some because they saw the sign of surrender..others because they were simply out of ammo and yelled for more...But there were no more, the lance corporal was literally the only one with two full clips and a loaded sidearms, the rest were either empty or on their last rounds..

(Okay, so they weren't firing at buildings.)

All soldiers stopped firing for a few seconds as a hangar nearby exploded. Several looked back at the tanks, but they hadn't fired.

The commander watched as a white flag went up.

"Cease fire!" It didn't matter as no one was firing anymore, anyways.

He ordered 20 soldiers to walk down and take the prisoners.

(We don't harm prisoners. Our POWs are treated fairly and will not be abused in any way.)

The 120 Soilder Nunuvatian 2nd Heavy Battlion Division consisting of Ten Mk VII White Wolf Tanks and Two Heavy Convoys have entered NK'S Southren Border from the Demilitiztrized Zone and are Heading towards Wonsan to aid North Korean Forces if they make it in time.

They already lost. But if you fight along side them, you will be shot at.

OOC: Italicized speaking means the person is speaking Korean, most usually for non-Korean speakers, I'll use this style from now on.

The eight remaining soldiers got out of their cover lines, their rifles to their backs and their hands either raise into the air or behind the back of their heads. Sergeant Ling stepped in front of the troops, signifying he was current command, he spoke out his native language, hoping someone would understand,

"Sergeant Ling, current commanding officer of the 34th Platoon..I hereby declare complete surrender of my soldiers."

31-07-2003, 17:37
The Sigman commander looked completely lost. "Anyone understand Korean?"

A soldier behind him piped up,"Uh, Sir? I know Korean. He says his name is Sergeant Ling, he is in control of these troops, and they surrender."

"Uh, yeah. Thanks, soldier."

"Anytime, commander."

Several soldiers walked up and unarmed the NOrth Korean troops. They then hand-cuffed them.

The infantry spread out through the rest of the airport, taking any remaining prisoners.

(What's the deal Nunavut? My entire fleet is at that port, and 9,500 soldiers. Not to mention tanks and the fact that I have been turning the place into a base of operations.

My fleet is far more powerful than yours and my airforce can wipe out your boats. Peacekeepers or not, you attack me, and you are going down.)

Wonsan Harbor

There came a knock upon the door. The general was still getting used to this new office. "Come in."

A soldier, wearing headphones, rushed in. "Sir, the Nunavut peacekeepers are making a move on Wonsan. They are coming by see. We have radar and airial photos as proof."

The general sat upright in his chair,"Send orders to the fleet to make ready. Have the planes on those carriers load with torpedoes. Tell them to issue one warning before opening fire."

The soldier saluted sharply with a "Yes Sir!" and ran out of the room. The general stood up and went to his window. He looked out at the fleet and wondered why the Nunavut fleet would do this. They didn't stand a chance.

He watched as activity in the streets below increased. The JOAP tanks rolled to the roads facing the harbor, ready to engage anything that gets past the fleet.

The High Admiral walked around the Deck of the Class Mk 5s Battleship, The same as the Iceline only with a Extra Missile Pod, He turned around to see A Officer Appoarching him.

"What is it, Officer?" He grunted.

"Sir, Intelligence Officer on the Carrier U.N.S Overlord has sent us a Urgent Message, A Patrol boat of ours has spotted a Dirieties Fleet changing course in the 4th Amada's Direction, He strongly Advise that we change course to Intercept them"

The Admiral Blinked, "Go ahead, Tell the 2nd Amada Intelligence officer to tell the ships of the this Amada to intercept them"

The Officer nodded and turned back around

(Okay then...bring it. Who else has fleets over here, anyways? There is going to be a naval battle here.)

The fleet had all guns aimed at the nearing fleet. The carriers were in back, with the planes being loaded and fueled. The pilots were already in them. A specialized carrier carrying P-51S' was near the middle of the fleet. These planes had been fully customized, extra armor and speed and with HE rockets and armor piercing rounds.

The pride of the Sigman navy, the SONC Leviathan, was to the far left of the navy. With it's mulitple cannons and missiles, it was a major power on the water.

"Sir, they are surrounding our navy."

"Why on earth would they do that. They are just spreading their forces out. I wonder who is commanding that fleet? Oh, well, open fire. They are presenting us their sides while moving into position, so they will be easier to hit."

He watched as the navy's cannon's swivelled to aim at each's target.

(Also, my stats.

4 carriers
7 battleships
2 cruisers
10 frigates
6 stealth battleships
4 submarines (present)
3 missile frigates
5 torpedoe frigates

I also have several more ships, but they are guarding my country. The forces are 41 on my side to 23 on yours. I give one more chance to withdraw. Also, I could afford more, with my frightening economy.)

-14 Officers
-Full spectrum infrared, ultraviolet, nightvision systems
-ELF and ULF communications systems
-Satellite Uplink
Weapons:
-66mm Underwater Torpedo Launcher
This launch system fires small high explosive torpedoes. At least 12 of them are mounted around the hull in strategic positions, providing nearly 100% coverage. These small torpedoes can be used in an offensive role, and are quite capable of destroying midget-subs and DSRV's, but they are primarily an advanced countermeasure system. Capable of firing 6 rounds per minute, a sophisticated tracking system guides the 66mm torpedo towards an incoming enemy torpedo. When it closes within 5 meters, the torpedo detonates and caused a high pressure burst that (hopefully) damages the incoming projectile and causes it to explode.

-533mm Torpedo Launcher
The 533mm Torpedo Launcher is designed primarily to destroy other enemy submarines and surface vessels. With a body packed full of high-explosives, the 533mm is quite capable of punching through an enemy's hull. The torpedo is guided by wire to within 8 miles of its target before being cut loose. The active sensors then take over and guide the torpedo until it detonates. Aboard the "Ryuou" class, eight 533mm Torpedo Launchers are positioned in the front of the submarine, while two are located on the spine of the submarine. The spine launchers can fire either forwards or backwards, while the forward launchers can direct a devastating salvo of weaponry at any target.

-ABTC-083 Mk.IV Battle Computer
This is the newest variant of the (A)dvanced (B)attle (T)actical ©omputer. It interfaces directly with the sonar, targeting computers, and nearby imaging and GPS satellites to draw a composite image of the battlefield. By pinpointing the submarine's position via GPS and ELF transmitters, and by comparing topographical maps of the area, an actual 3D view of the area can be displayed onto an immense plasma TV viewscreen. Sonar pulses correct for any uncharted terrain features, and even map out possible enemy contacts as if they were completely visible and display them with a target marker, automatically measuring displacement and propeller blades to determine the class of ship or submarine.. A viewshield on the bridge can be retracted to allow visual sighting in extremely clear water. The ABTC system can direct up to 18 seperate torpedoes, monitor over 300 contacts, and control all other automated ship functions at once. It is truly an asset to the fleet.

Whenever something that matches the characteristics of a submarine are picked up on sonar (propeller blades, nuclear reactor cooling systems, seismic activity, and the like), the contact is posted as a waypoint on the display. As the "Ryuou" continues, it constantly monitors the contact and compares any new characteristics gained to an internal database. The database is filled with every known sub and surface vessel on the planet, as well as most aircraft likely to pass over the ocean (heavy bombers, ASW helicopters, etc). The database can be easily updated via a secure MILSAT satellite download. If the contact continues to display submarine or surface vessel-like characteristics, it is then sonar focused on if authorized by the captain. This sonar focus can more precisely "map" the contact out and begins comparing things such as angles and propeller-screw blades to its database. This enables it to narrow down the list of possibilities. When a likely match (75%+) is found, it is displayed on the viewscreen. Whether the contact is an allied or enemy design, the captain can then decide whether to hail it or to go to periscope depth for a closer look.

Normal complement of torpedoes is only 84 66mm torpedoes and 24 533mm torpedoes. The 66mm's are basically a glorified interceptor system. To carry the maximum loadout of weapons reduces the "Ryuou's" time at sea to less than 3 days. This results in a considerable performance loss and can only be accomplished by docking with a submarine tender near the target and taking on the additional weapons there. The maximum weapons load would only be used to shatter an enemy base or fleet protected by several SS's and SSN's, where speed it not an extremely important issue.

Casualties:unknown number of sailors dead, Leviathan damaged, one frigate sinking, one battleship sinking.

The guns of the battleships and cruisers fired at all battleships and destroyers.

The patrol boats were targets for the planes in the air, which fired torpedoes into their sides and armor piercing rounds into their tops. (I have over a hundred planes in the air. F-14's, F-16's, P-51S' and some I got from Raysia.)

All frigates, torpedo, missile or normal, opened fire on the carriers.

I am sorry to tell you, but I have three fleets operating on the east coast, and two fleets operating on the west coast. It is very IMPOSSIBLE that you can get through to Wonson.

I am going to ignore you now because your god-moded ships are getting through.

And also, one more thing: My Advanced Sword Class Battleship is much better than your ship, and I have proven it.

Ruhr, he is 13th of june. Still, those casualties are pretty godmoddy. My cruisers are bigger and more powerful than a battleship. He should have more than half of his fleet sinking and a few disabled ones. Also, what's the point of having a patrol boat in a fleet battle. Those things lack large weaponry. So basically, it was 41 deadly vessels against 8 ships. I'm not even sure if my battleship is sinking.

"Yes Sir!"

My B2 Spirits have just taken off from the Solo City Airport, and are waiting for orders from you, for me to hit NK targets.

(OOC: Hey Ruhr, if Nunavut wants to get involved so bad, how about him launch a few planes (you choose the maximum amount of his allowed) from his home soil, and have them fly close to Coreillia (Genetia Islands). And my aircraft carrier that is at home can send my planes up (who are due for a competition with the Li Tania planes) and have an air battle with his planes. But if he wants to do this, we won't be above the land, we will meet over the sea. But I will be launching 45 planes, and Li Tania will be having 100 of his planes over for a little competition between our two groups of pilots taking out land targets and air dummy targets. If he wishes to take 145 on with a few squadrons I will gladly duke it out with his planes. This is only if you want this to happen. Li Tania's planes will arrive just after the battle starts though)

There is an enemy concentration in Hwanghae-Namdo Province. It is where Oglethorpia is landing and there needs to be a lightened up force. A supply line is suspected to be moving south from Pyongyang to his forces. Take it out. They are on a highway and easy to spot.

NK - PVA: People's Volunteer Army. Just as it sounds, the PVA is a military body consisting of dedicated civilians who voluntarily take up arms to be side by side with their fellow soldiers to defend their homeland. Only called upon only on the most dire of conditions, those within the PVA are used because of their vast knowledge of every nook-and-cranny (correct?) of the entire N. Korean region. PVA troops are familiar with military honor and discipline, helped that most took martial arts, and are given 1-2 weeks training; their experience is equivalent to a trainee in boot camp, some a green trooper in combat. PVA commanders are generally retired Loyalist troops. Standard equipment within the PVA are light armor (if any), standard or slightly outdated guns, and various standard equipment. The force of the PVA is dependent and determined by the number of those willing to fight. Age acceptance prevents people from 55 years and onward in joining.

11:41 SMT; En Route to Yangdok

Colonel Saen Chook was in the lead convoy vehicle, the first to arrive from Pyongyang as the capital was in the process of evacuation while NATO forces were still occupied with the coastal cities.

"Colonel," The driver had been in headset contact with the Pyongyang Central Command Center, "..Command has found an alternate route for us to take. It'll reduce the time it takes for us to reach Yangdok. All current and furture convoys have been notified of this alternate route." Chook merely nodded his head in agreement, keeping his silence as he continued to stare at the road ahead of him.

The convoy turned off from the devastated main roads and into rural dirt paths, attempting to not only cut the time of travel but also to possibly avoid detection. The versatile armada of tanks, AFV's, and even civilian vehicles roamed on through, stopping to pick up any stragglers they found on their way.

The RNS Hamburg – In the Gulf of Chihli
------------------------------------------------------------

Captain Ryan Mako was standing in the center of the bridge. The Sea Fox Class nuclear attack sub backed off into the Gulf of Chihli after the missile attacks on Nampo. Now cruising at 75 feet, she had to be quiet. She was above the thermo cline and the seas were calm. “Raise the Antennae!” The ESM system slowly moved topside to check for surface radar.

“Clear, sir!”

“Periscope up!” Mako ordered. After a few seconds, he was looking through. He made one quick turn around checking for surface ships, then he looked again more upwards looking for aircraft. Nothing, good, he thought. He made a more detailed search now, cloud cover to the North, clear for the rest. “Down periscope.”

”Captain, we have an ELF message coming in.”

”Decode it and bring it here, Lieutenant.”

”Aye, Aye, sir!” The lieutenant looked back at his computer, trying to decrypt it quickly. He brought it back to the captain in 30 seconds. Mako read over it quickly, attack successful, no further fleet movement from Nampo, location for Sub-Tender to meet with.

“Ok, sailors, we have our new coordinates. Bring us down to three hundred feet, and let’s head on course two-four-one. All Ahead one third.” The control room came to life as the orders were passed on. The ship began the slow increase in depth, it was noticeable…the hull was popping under the pressure. Thank god for that rubber plating, thought Mako. After three minutes of diving, the ship began to turn to port. The captain’s coffee began to slide off the table, he grabbed it just in time.

“Captain, on course at depth.”

”Good, continue on course for thirty minutes.”

The captain left command of the sub to Commander Lauren Silen. He walked back the narrow corridor to his quarters, and poured himself a glass of water. Ryan laid down on his bed, and unbuttoned the black shirt uniform distinguishing him from the rest of the sailors. Damnit, why can’t I get enough sleep. He dozed off, only to be awakened twenty minutes later by Lauren.

“Captain?”

”Yes, Lauren?”

”We have an emergency?” He shot out of bed, and they began walking to the bridge.

“What is it, Commander?”

”Two minutes ago we picked up a NK boomer, off our starboard bow 12,000 yards.”

”A boomer?”

”Yes, heading south in a clearing…looks like they know how to get out of our lines.” She points the electronic map to display the battle groups. There is a hole in the lines, thought Mako.

“Ok, lets get moving on this. Load tubes three and four with Mk50’s. Lets get in their baffles.”

”Aye, sir!” Lauren started barking orders to the rest of the crew. There were two rings in the ship signifying that there is an enemy ship in range. The lights dimmed to red, and the monitors on each bulkhead gave off a lighter glow. The ship rolled to the starboard, and maintained sped. The boomer was long, about 500 or so feet, probably heading off to Ruhrian coast as a last resort. Mako walked over to the Sonar station and looked through the door. Lieutenant 2nd Class Grant Brown had his earphones on as he kept tracking the North Korean SSBN, he kept making notations.

”Captain, she is making turns for eight knots and we are now in her baffles. Twin screws, nuclear steam propulsion, probably carrying 20 ICBMs also.”

”Can we get away with a clear shot?”

”I think so,” Brown replied.

“What’s in the area?”

“Nothing, sir.”

”Why the hell do they have a lone boomer here, in a separate operating arena from their other fleets?”

”I don’t know sir, but we should take it out. I have a feeling it is making a run for Ruhr.”

“Ok, then it is settled.” Ryan walked to the Weapons Control, “Do you have a firing solution yet?”

“Yes sir, we have shooting solutions for tubes three and four only. Tubes one and two have Harpoons in them.”

”Good work, chief. Sonar, range to target?”

“8,000 yards enclosing, sir!”

“Open torpedo tube doors!”

”Tubes opened, captain!”

”The ship is combat ready, Captain,” exclaimed Commander Silen.

“Conn, Sonar! They hear us! They are turning!”

”Fire Tubes three and four!”

”Firing! Torpedo three has a lock! Cutting the wire! Four is still pinging! Cutting the wire!”

”Bring us to starboard, reload tubes three and four with Mk50s.”

“Torpedo 3 is now 500 yards, she’s turning right! Launching countermeasures! Torpedo 3 has lost target! Pinging! She’s locked back on! 200 yards, 100 yards, 50! The boomed is making a hard right! Explosion!”

The captain looked down, the crew was silent. The weapons-control officer kept going: “Torpedo 4 has acquired its target.”

”Sonar, what is the condition of the target?”

”Sir, they’re going down fast sir. Hull popping noises and heavy cavitation!”

“Secure from Red Alert, continue operating at orange.”

“Aye, Sir!” The boomer was dead, or dying…unconfirmed up to this point. And a sub-tender was waiting for them. Mako ordered the ship to continue on to its original destination, with some disturbing news: A boomer was slipping through the holes and heading to Ruhr possibly for an attack, but it was operating alone and from a different direction. Strange that they didn’t send a distress buoy out also.

--------------------------------------------------------
Omega Bomber Wing – Northeast of Sunchon
--------------------------------------------------------

25 B1B Lancers made up the Omega Bomber Wing, five squadrons of five bombers. Each Lancer was carrying a full load of bombs. The strike wing flew north to swing around Nangnim-Sanmaek, a mountain in the Pyonggon-Namdo Province. Their target was Sunchon, a city northwest of Pyongyang where a Korean Motor-Rifle division and two infantry divisions was located. The enemy targeted was preparing to move south to counter the Oglethorpian attack. General Charles Winter was leading the attack. He spoke into the intercom: “Hit the deck, 200 off the ground and keep it low. 20 miles to target. Swing wings forward!”

The swing-wings on the B1B Lancer slowed the plane down, giving the crew more time to hit their targets accurately. Although, this mission was rare, it was a ‘see the enemy and drop your bombs’ attack. NATO officials were pushing Ruhr to move on with an armoured attack. It was too rushed.

”General, we have SAMs lighting up all over!”

”Evasive maneuvers, squadrons break off into attack positions.” An echo of ‘yes, sir!’ followed his command. The five squadrons each evaded, some were forced to turn on their jamming systems.

“This is Omega Wing commander, target now within visual range, break high and run attack. F-15 Fighters will escort us out!”

“Alpha Squadron, breaking off and attacking!” Alpha wing went through with ease, black smoke rose in ten or so different towers over the city.

“This is Alpha Squadron Leader reporting, enemy SAMs are to the south of the city. Suggested exit is heading east.

”Roger that, Alpha leader.” Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echelon squadrons followed him. Each dropping 100,000 pounds of bombs on any target found. The city was covered in smoke, and machinegun fire was shooting up in the sky like rain falling to the ground. Two handheld SAMs managed to hit their targets, Delta 4 and Charlie 3 were now the latest KIA crews in the Korean War. The city’s only remains were the outskirts where the residential areas were. Omega Wing had strict orders not to attack it. Damnit though! That is probably where the infantry is! The General rambled on to himself as Omega Bombing Wing was joined by three F-15 Eagle Squadrons.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Truth and Reconciliation Battle Group – Off of Hwajil-li
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Commodore Rick Rickerridge was overlooking a report on West Coast battle progress. He noticed that there was dramatic increase of NATO support, and that Haraki has continued missile and bombing attacks all over, Damn, I wonder how much they spend on supplies. He noticed something about Ruhrian Waters:

Three unknown submarines were found and destroyed. They were attack submarines heading to cut off the Stuttgart supply lines and close off the Nevada Naval Base route. Three Los Angeles SSNs managed to hunt them down and destroy them.

“Hey, Alan…did you read that three unknown SSNs got into Ruhrian Waters?”

“No…give me that!” He read it over.

“Wow! I hope CINCMIL decides to check out the wrecks!”

”Yeah, I want to find out who managed to get through the SOSUS lines.”

“Commodore!” An ensign rushed through the doors in the Officers Mess. “You are needed on the bridge!”

”Jesus! I get an hour off and something already is screwed up!” The XO walked briskly with Commodore Rickerridge. Rick nodded as he passed some of his fellow crewmate. The lights went red, What the HELL is going on?

“CO on the deck!”

”What the hell is happening?” A junior-grade officer walked towards the CO.

“Commodore, we have orders coming through from CINCFLT, they are encrypted in new code. We are deciphering it now.”

”What’s the fleet’s status?”

“Sir, on the Eastern coast, the 2nd Pacific Attack Fleet has managed to obliterate an enemy fleet trying to break the blockade. Two battleships, two carriers, and about four support craft were wiped out. We have reports flooding in from the 3rd Pac Patrol saying that they have encountered a Korean submarine. We lost a Spruance Class Destroyer.”

”Damnit, when will they learn!” A lower grade officer ran up to the Commodore and handed him the translation of the orders. Rick nodded, he began to shake his head left and right disagreeing with the orders.

Date: 31 JUL 1550 ZULU
To: Commodore Rickerridge
From: CINCFLT
Subject: Orders

You are to proceed to within 30 miles of the shore at Hwajil-li. You will then commence a bombardment of the city and a VLS missile attack on any enemy units found. 3 Spotter teams have been located outside of city, will call in success and location of targets.

“Bring us on course one-three-seven, slow to 1/3. Train the guns to starboard and lets head north when we get within range of Hwajil-li. Send this to the rest of the fleet, let us get a battle line going in preparation for Coastal Bombardment.”

”Sir, the RNS Razor is moving in to help also. They will be here within the hour.”

”Good, open VLS doors one through five. Launch five Juliet-V Cruise Missiles at the pre-designated positions.”

”Preparing a solution now.”

”Excellent, Red Alert, three rings.” The ship’s alarms rang three times signifying preparation of a coastal attack, the lights throughout the ship dimmed to red. The ships six nuclear reactors began to churn out horsepower to accommodate for the heavy turn. The low superstructure on the Advanced Sword Class Battleship not only helped in passive stealth technology, but it made it easier to turn. Her sleek clipper bow sliced through the waves. Rickerridge turned to view the turn. He saw the rest of the ship’s twelve escorts and he noticed the air-traffic, a Seahawk Helicopter, two F-18 Hornets, and an AWAC flying just low enough to be seen.

“Commodore, ship is rigged for bombardment.” The XO continued overlooking the control room as Rickerridge hovered over the navigation display. Thirty minutes passed by and the ship was now in position. The RNS Razor, one of the Truth and Reconciliation’s sister ships, was now within visual range. The commodore went to the very front of the bridge. He couldn’t see the land from there, but he would certainly hit it. The forty nautical mile range of the 20” guns was perfect for bombarding a coastal city while maintaining a safe distance. The crew ran all over the deck preparing for the attack, which would no doubt move anything loose.

“Train the main turrets to starboard ninety degrees.”

”Training the turrets to starboard ninety degrees,” the weapons control specialist replied. The three turrets on the front and rear of the ship began a slow fifteen-second shift to face the shore.

“Open VLS doors six through twelve, prepare for multi system launch.”

”Opening doors,” again a reply prior to the hydraulic doors opening.

”Bridge, Communications: signal to the rest of the fleet that as soon as the Razor is in range, we will commence the attack.” Another twenty minutes went by, the Razor was now operating 2,000 yards in front of the Truth and Reconciliation.

”Bridge, Comm.: we are picking up a signal from our spotters. They have reported a heavy armoured concentration now moving into the city. We have new target locations.”

”Give those locations to Weapons Control, and get moving on a solution for tubes six through twelve.”

”Aye, Aye Commodore!”

”Commence the attack, fire all guns.” The ships starboard side was engulfed in black smoke from the massive gunfire. The ship rocked, and soon the missiles were launched. White plumes rose from the deck as twelve Juliet-V missiles were on their way to hit targets in the city.

“Commodore, we have new locations. Raise the guns two degrees.”

”Reload! Raise the guns two degrees.”

”Done, Sir!”

”Fire!” The naval bombardment went on for another thirty minutes. Soon the city of Hwajil-li was rubble, and flames rose from the missile attacks. As the sky darkened, anti-aircraft fire rose from the streets, shot from what units were left. The attack was successful, the spotters reported heavy enemy casualties.

Kusan – The Arrival of the Armoured Units
-------------------------------------------------------

The merchant marine ships lined up out of the port, cranes that have been brought in were unloading the ships. The 27th Armoured Division was being unloaded, 500 M1A2 Abrams along with 250 M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles. Land-Based helicopters began to lift off, carrying troops and supplies to the front.

The 1st Ropes Marines division was now spread thin on the outskirts of the city. There was very little enemy resistance due to the Oglethorpian invasion in the west. Instead, enemy soldiers had begun to fall back. General Jonathan Striker was in command of the East Coast invasion; his new title was CINCEAST. Striker’s new deputy was General Aleksayev Kirensk. He was a competent young motor-rifle general. Aleksayev was wearing his green combat fatigue with his name written on his left sleeve, the flag of the Ruhrian military was patched on his right sleeve. His hat was worn low, and his black-lens sunglasses reflected the bright sunlight in the Dusk Sky.

“General Striker, I suggest we set up base just to the north of Kusan. We can then have the armour push north to connect with the Sigman lines.”

”That is a good plan, Alek. However, we will need to advance quickly, our best bet is heading west to cut off the DMZ and try to connect with Oglethorpian troops.”

”I guess so, General.” They walked together towards a small warehouse. Inside there was a Blackhawk Helicopter, they stepped in the rear and sat down. Aleksayev pulled out a folder from his briefcase, it contained unit information of forces allocated to battle. He gave the folder to Striker, who in turn read it to himself.

“The 72nd Delta Defence is on its way?”

”Yes, General. It will be here within the day.”

“Is that led by General Jarrod Barsamiun?”

”Yes, sir. Jarrod is in command still.”

”Good, good. I am anxious to see his work. His battle history from the Harakin Rebel War was very good, being promoted from tank commander to squad commander to eventually colonel, then in the Luporum Wolf problem he rescued what was left of the Ropes Marines there, he was promoted to Brigadier General.”

”Yes, General, he has a very appealing history.”

“Onto more business…” Jonathan kept reading as the helicopter took a hard right to circle the port. Three ships were currently unloading, tanks rolled off the lines and troops poured off the gangplanks. The 27th Armoured has moved through the city already and taking up positions on the outskirts. The five hundred strong Main Battle Tank division was composed of excellent tankers and only the best equipment. They flew over the front lines, observing the marine division digging in on the outskirts. The men bellow were combat hardened, seeing multiple wars, and receiving outstanding training. “Our troops’ morale is great, isn’t it Alek?”

”Yes, sir. They have high hopes.”

”I think as soon as we land the motor-rifle units we will move west and aid the Oglethorpians. From there we can move north to our objective cities.

“Yes, sir. We should begin preparing for that operation.”

----------------------------------------------------
Back in Ruhr, at the DIA Headquarters
----------------------------------------------------

The North Korean ambassador sent to Ruhr for heal diplomatic relations was arrested in the Imperial Hotel for espionage. He was brought to the Defence Intelligence Agency headquarters in Nuremberg, Ruhr. Peter Heimler and Jack Stonewall were the two interrogation officers assigned to the case. Peter was wearing a black Zenga shirt and khaki pants while Jack had black pants and a red shirt on. They both were hovering over a computer monitor where they looked up the NATO Intelligence reports on Ambassador Dae Mi Soon.

Stonewall was sitting down typing, while Peter read what was displayed.

Name: Dae Mi Soon
Age: 54
Sex: Male
Status: Married; Spouse: Mae Lee Soon
Position: PDRK Foreign Ambassador

NATO Intelligence Briefing: Seeming to be just some political figure, Dae is more than he seems. The dear ambassador is in fact a former K-CIB council director, who dealt with many internal and external affairs not just for the K-CIB itself but for other government/military foundations. Though he retired, it is suspected that he still has full, unrestricted access to all K-CIB databases and is always informed of the latest of intel reports and operations. It is highly unlikely that he is being fed false information, since being a highly respected authority figure. It is mere rumor but it is believed that he was directly involved with the SRA, possibly even organizing a variety of their missions.

“Well, Jack…seems like we have a figurehead with some actual information.” Peter’s glasses were lowered to the tip of his nose. His gray hair reflected the glow of the screen in the dimly lit room.

”Yes, it does. But what is this SRA thing?”

”Go look it up!”

NATO Intelligence Briefing: SRA - Special Response Agency. Believed to be the military strike arm of the K-CIB, the SRA can be labeled as the elite BlackOps within the PDRK government, possibly more secretive than the NK BlackDragons. Unfortunately these reports have yet to been confirmed as facts. Continual use of espionage and Intel gathering is proved unfruitful and the PDRK officials continually deny the existance of the SRA, quoting, "These Allied reports are merely falsified statements as to point out our nation with some hidden military secret within the PDRK. We deny the existance of such a group.”

“Well, appears this guy has seen some action also,” Stonewall declared as he finished reading the second briefing.

”Yep, our approach should be easy, and we will start with some basic stuff.”

”Then let’s crack him.” The two got up, and walked out of the dark room. Peter was carrying a small manila folder with a printout of the information. They turned right down a bright corridor leading around the circular building. The marble floors and walls combined with a copper trim gave the hallway a very modern look. After three hundred yards, the lights emitted less of a white-halogen glow and more of a dim-yellow. They turned right into room 5407.

Jack turned to Peter, “You ready?”

”Yes, I will open up.”

There were two guards standing in the room, they were excused after the two interrogators identified themselves. Jack sat down, and opened the folder. He put on his reading glasses and pretended it was his first time reading the file.

Peter opened up, “Hello, Ambassador Soon. My name is Agent Heimler and this is Agent Stonewall. We wanted to speak to you about your arrival in Ruhr.”

”Thank you for your hospitality, agents. What is going on though?”

”As you may or may not know, Ruhr is now in a Full Scale war with North Korea. And luckily, you were sent to Ruhr just in time to untie the diplomatic knot, but it was too late. A fleet attacked a Ruhrian Patrol Fleet, ended up in a Ruhrian Victory. Your fleet held up well, up until the point which your men were attacked by our stealth destroyers.”

”Ahh, I see. I hope that there was not a terrible loss of life.” Imperialist fleets! Damnit! Why wasn’t an attack successful?

It was Jack’s turn, “Ambassador Soon, I am going to ask you a few questions.”

”Please, If it helps you all out.”

”What is your full name?”

”Dae Mi Soon.” Jack filled it out on a pad with his blue pen.

”And your title?”

”Ambassador of North Korea.”

“And your spouse’s name?”

”Mae Lee Soon, why?”

”Just some identification needs, Mr. Soon,” replied Peter.

“Well then, what else do you need to know?”

”What were you doing in Ruhr, Ambassador?” questioned Jack.

“On a mission to mend our countries diplomatic ties.”

”Who sent you?”

“My government.”

”Which person IN your leadership sent you?”

“The PDRK Foreign Ministry; Lee Kue Sung - Chief Foreign Minister.”

”Good, this is just preliminary information.”

”What do you know of Korean Military deployment?”

”Nothing! I am only in the Foreign Ministry department.”

”I thought you were an Ex-Korean CIB agent?”

”What?”

”Don’t lie, Mr. Ambassador. You were an Ex-CIB agent up until you were offered your current position.”

”YES! That is correct. I was Ex-CIB.”

”What was your role in the CIB?”

”I was part of the Director Council, one of the decision makers.”

”So you were top-notch?”

”You can say that.”

”Then you know of the Korean Military and it’s equipment.”

”I have no clue of the Korean Military’s equipment and strength!’

“Ambassador, you receive intelligence reports weekly. I am sure that you have received the latest information on the Korean Military.”

”No, I have not!”

”Where are your fleets located, Ambassador?”

“I don’t know!”

”Which fleet attacked Ruhr?”

”I do not know which fleet attacked your fleets!”

(OOC Note: From here, North Korea and I will RP the interrogation.)

General Darklighter had briefed his pilots that they were to target a massive supply line that was South of Pyongyang. From what the Minister of Defense had been told by military officials from Ruhr was that it was suspected of being headed towards Norht Korean troops that are currently in the province of Hwanghae-Namdo.

SOLO 1: Okay Squad, we are almost here. Arm a missile and scan the ground for the supply line. I want us to try and hit every one of the supply vehicles.

SOLO 3: Spotted them Lead. *Sends Coordinates to all the Squad*

SOLO 1: Thanks 3. Let's go, I'll explode the lead vehicle, and then we all start.

<Silence>

SOLO 1: Missile has been released, watch it and wait for the explosion.

*Cloud of smoke appears*

SOLO 1: Let's go Squad.

SOLO 1: We have done some excellant work. I hope we can get a count on the vehicles we got there. I suspect almost all of them were hit at least, but we will find out soon enough. Back to home SOLO Squadron. (OOC: North Korea, if you can put how much of the supply chain was hit it would be great. Also Ruhr if you approve after North Korea says how much damage was done, can I send a few F22's and F60's to fly over and report the damage to SOLO Squadron. I hope an air battle will develop between the planes and enemy planes if this is allowed please let me know)

OOC: If Nunavut is willing to talk and plan out a battle between my air force with Li Tania's against his, with the input and approval of you, I will gladly have the air battle with him.

(NK, is that airport mine? All prisoners will be returned after the war is over.)

OOC: Yes the airport facility is now under your control.
01-08-2003, 16:13
OOC: Personally, I would in fact prefer for you to conduct fly-by's to recon on damage. So here's what you got on the bombing run.

The supply convoy was quite large for its size, mostly made up of transport vehicles, supply trucks, and armored vehicles. First off, the bombing run destroyed most accessible bridges/roads which cut off all options for the convoy to go except for two ways. But by the time the convoy was about to move again, it was essentially dead.

Lost Supply Convoy Units:
16 Supply Trucks
11 Troop Transports
15 Tanks
17 AFV's

If it seems not right, tell me and I'll reedit.

Members of NATO only. Are you a NATO member?
01-08-2003, 16:46
Two F22 Raptors with the Coreillian blood stripes took off from the Coreillian aircraft carrier, the HMCS Wedge Antilles.

Raptor 1: Stuck on a recon mission, wish I coulda down the damage, not the recon of the damage we caused.

Raptor 2: Agree with you on that issue 1. So South of Pyongyang right?

Raptor 1: Affirmative 2. A supply line.

Raptor 2: I am gonna go closer to the ground, then use my digital camera.

Raptor 1: I'll stay up here and use it. Let me know what you see. I'll get the big picture for our department, so we can report it to NATO.

Raptor 2: Okay.

<Raptor 2 heads down closer to the ground>

Raptor 2: 1, Right now I see heavy damage to the roads. Seems to leave only two possible escape routes for the convoy. Heavy damage to a few bridges around here as well. Two have completly crumbled.

Raptor 1: Great recon 2. What about vehicles.

Raptor 2: For now, I see 16 Supply Trucks, 11 Troop Transports, 15 Tanks and 17 AFV's.

Raptor 1: Well, SOLO Squadron definately did a number on them. Shall we take off.

Raptor 2: We probably should, but let's go do some further recon, maybe get some action.

Raptor 1: I don't know, Darklighter will kill us if he finds out.

Raptor 2: C'mon 1, don't chicken out on me

Raptor 1: Alright, you lead the way.

Raptor 2: We will just be here for a few more minutes. Not like we are going to go after anything.

Raptor 1: Alright 2.

OOC: North Korea if you want to send some planes to intercept them, or launch something at them, go ahead. Or else they will just take off back to the carrier. Let me know.
01-08-2003, 16:58
"..Ugh...that is the last f-cking time I volunteer to be in a supply convoy" grumbled tank driver, Tracy Mien, rubbing her head to wipe some of the blood that had flowed. She turned and glanced, two of her fellow crewmembers were either dead or unconscious. She groggily got out of the tank, seeing the devastation all around her. A distance away from her, she saw two AFV's firing their machine guns at two planes. Probably recon planes.. She thought.

Just then, she heard a loud noise coming from the back of her. She turned and saw a five-MiG squadron approaching, jetting past them and heading straight for the two planes.

Manpo, small city town about 5 miles from Sepo, North Korea

In the darkness he could barely see..only the outlines of various figures and buildings bestowed onto him meager sight. He stopped for a moment, his legs tired, his body tired but then he felt something prod his back along with the words "Get moving". He complied..that was all he could do for now.

----------

The marching band of citizens were but of a small fraction of Manpo's population. About four days ago, Korean soldiers came into the city, seeming to set up camp as if for some oncoming assault..instead, they took over the town and started arresting their own citizens. Homes became prisons, store owners could not even go back to their workplaces, the barrel of the soldier being the ideal reason for them.

About two days after..people began disappearing, day by day more and more people were loaded up into trains and truck transports. The soldiers told the others that Manpo was to be evacuated, but that it would take a while since all transports were occupied at the moment. But it seemed good enough as the citizens then waited, waiting for their turn to leave..

----------

The truck came to an immediate stop, the escort jeeps behind them stopping as well. Soldiers slowly and safely began unloading the civilians, then proceeded to lead them to what appeared to be a military camp. They were told that they would be here only temporary then be transported to another city, they believed...

----------

The Colonel looked at the message sent from him by the 'Leader'

Process is taking too long...Results must report by tomorrow.

The Colonel turned to his awaiting command staff, the sound of tank movement falling over his voice. Yet the staff understood..they saluted and departed.

About thirty minutes later, soldiers began putting sealed barrels all over the town, informing citizens that they were explosive barrels, in case enemy troops began overrunning them.

About two hours later..they were gone. Almost all of the soldiers were gone, not even a jeep could be found. Where had the soldiers gone off to? Did the enemy traverse elsewhere? If so..Why did they leave their barrels? The citizens confounded at the sudden withdrawal but attempted to revert back to their daily routines.

----------

The colonel and his men stood at the hilly outskirts of the city, peering through with binoculars. He then turned to two engineers and nodded to them. The engineers then both flipped some sort of switches...and all was quiet except for the screams of pain and suffering.

Twenty minutes passed and the troops were back, this time wearing gas masks as they passed through the streets. Bodies littered the floor, those that survived were shot immediately. The colonel and a few others began checking up on individual bodies, his eyes holding no remorse whatsoever on what had been done. He called attention for the officer near him and spoke out,

"Give this message to the dear General...Manpo testing was a success. Gas killed adults in an average of 14 seconds, children in 8. Few last second survivors shot..The camp prisoners, take care of." The officer nodded and immediately ran to have the message delivered. Just then, another officer came up to the Colonel.

"Tes...Our work is almost done here, I just have one more order."

"And what would that be dear colonel?"

"Take some of the bodies..and crucify them over at the Kae-Lee Hills, just a bit from Ichon. I trust that you will transport them without right suspicion from others."

"Yes sir, colonel. I will have it done immediately..But how many sir?"

"Hmm..about 100 or so would work."

"Very well sir..I'll get right to it." The Colonel was then left alone for a moment, side from a few passing soldiers. He stared at the face of a man, the bodies expression riddled with fear. He then turned and began walking back to his main force. Worthless beings... Was all the Colonel could think of..

The bodies all laid motionless, ceasing to give some form of animation..yet there was no blood. They died of choking..they died as experiments..

OOC: I'm going to make yet another seperate topic news-like post concerning this matter later..I don't think I have the time at this point.

"Eagle 1, this is Eagle 4. I have confirmed lock on target 2. Preparing to engage."

"Eagle 4, this is Eagle 1. Proceed with caution.."

"This is Eagle 2, I got two seekers on my tail! Evasive manuevers!"

"This is Eagle 3, I got your back Eagle 2." The third MiG pulled away from the formation as the second MiG attempted to shake off the missiles.

"Deploying counter-measures." The second MiG pulled off a few cm flares, only one of the missiles bought it. "This is Eagle 2, I got one seeker on my six."

"This is Eagle 3, sh-t! I got two seekers on my six as well!" As this was going on, the three remaining MiGs formed a triad formation, their targets coming in closer and closer.

"Eagle 1, Fox 2"

"Eagle 4, Fox 2"

"Eagle 5, Fox 2" The three MiGs each then fired one foxtrot (sidewinder?) missile.
01-08-2003, 17:25
"Command, this is Triad 1-1. What's our next target?"

"Yes. There's two friendly F-22s being attacked by enemy MiGs. Scramble some fighters for support."

"Yes sir. Triad 4-1, 5-1, move out. Take your squadrons."

"Yes sir," 4-1 replied. Twelve long-range fighters broke off from the Haraki air fleet and scrambled very quickly towards the Raptors.
01-08-2003, 17:28
OOC: Haraki, I can't post for this moment so..The two MiGs that have missiles on them will be lost, the remaining three will be forced into retreat. The remaining ground supply troops..wipe them out, but there will be a few survivors after that.
01-08-2003, 17:35
Raptor 2: I see three missiles deploying from the MiGs!

Raptor 1: I see it too! Another two seekers launched though. Launch two then we will head into evasive maneuvering.

Raptor 2: Launched 1! I got all three of those missiles on me! Sh-t!

Raptor 1: Use your counter measures 2!

Raptor 2: I launched two, only one missile went off course.

Raptor 1: C'mon 2, you can make it. Be Evasive.

Raptor 2: Alright, I am gonna fly straight at the MiGs and maybe some of there own missiles will hit them.

Raptor 1: That is way to dangerous 2, don't

Raptor 2: Too late 1. here I go.

Raptor 1 pulled out of the evasive formation with Raptor 2, and pulled back hard.

Raptor 2 headed straight at the lead MiG.

Raptor 1 noticed some friendly planes coming on his radar.

Raptor 1: Raptor 2, don't do this, we got some friendly planes coming! Don't fly at them! Stop!

Raptor 2 launched 2 heat seekers, then collided with one of the MiGs.

Raptor 1: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
01-08-2003, 17:36
"This is Triad 4-1. We're gaining on them, Command."

"Good job. What's going on?"

"Two MiGs with missiles on their asses, three without, firing sidewinders. They haven't spottecd us yet."

"This is 5-1. I've got an idea."

He fired one missile. As one of the MiGs with missile locks on them veered off to their right quickly to avoid the missile on its tail, it slammed right into the fired missile by 5-1, blasting and falling to earth in a ball of fire.

"Nice shot. Move in."

OOC: Nunavut, if you want to conduct this please telegram me your e-mail or msn, and we can plan this if you want. Ruhr will have to approve of it and also he can change part of it. But let me know.

The Carriers launch a Final Wave of 120 F-14'S.

OOC: Do you even know what a normal capacity of a carrier is? A Nimitz-class super-sized carrier can only carry 85 planes

Second, if a missile hits a carrier-it is either badly damaged or DEAD.

Third, a stealth battleship is unachievable. A stealth ship has to be small, and the world's largest stealth ship is the Visby-class corvette.

Also, oh yes, F-16s can't go on carriers. It is a ground plane, unless your carrier is CTOL.

The battleship with disabled guns sets a collision course with the Raider at high speed.

All battleships but 4 concentrate on the enemy destroyers. Remaining four concentrate on Raider.

Submarines fire second torpedoes into carriers.

P-51S' drop rockets and bombs into carrier surfaces all the while firing.

(I will give you a chance to retreat. Next, I concentrate all fire on Raider. That's eleven battleships. It won't survive. It will be blown to pieces.)

all of a sudden, from just behind a chain of islands, a rumbling is heard. A massive force of 980 aircraft swoop in(see my earlier post for types), they gang up two-on-one against all enemy aircraft, and the remaining aircraft begin to attack the ships with High Explosive Anti-Ship rounds and Anti-ship missiles, as well as Bombs. The Derien Armada "Infinity" comes sppeding around the island chain, 2 GM cruisers focus on each ship, each firing 15 missiles (thats 30 Guided missles coming at each of your ships), while the battleships move forward and begin opneing up fire with their guns. Eight 533mm torpeadoes are fired at each of your ships from the submarines. If any ships are left at this point, the GM cruisers fire another 20 missiles at each remaining ship.

"Right. We've got orders. Move out."

A grand total of 10 fighter air wings are dispatched from Harakian runways. 960 Interceptors move out, to reinforce the naval fleets.

OOC: Nunavut, if you godmod against these you will be ignored by all of us. I have a massive, five-star air force. ooc: its fourty missiles PER SHIP thats 40x20, or 800 missiles coming at your fleet. Also, look at my aircraft stats, 200 of them arent visible to the eyes, reduced visiblity to radar, and cruise speeds of over mach 3. Realistic casualties would be appreciated. OH, and your escape routes are pretty much cut off.

"Let's get our pilots up in the air, we must continue are perfect record against the Li Tania pilots. We have beaten them every year. Let's beat them again. This time Solo Squadron is here to help defend our title. As well this year, on the line is our title, to them if they lose they build us a free aircraft carrier with F-60 stealth fighters filling it up." Gen Ibis said to the Commander of the Aircraft Carrier HMCS Frank Solo.

There were 20 Coreillian designed F-60 stealth fighters in the air, as well as 25 Coreillian modified F22 Raptors.

They were being fancy up in the air. But they weren't the fanciest for long as the 23 B2 Spirits of SOLO Squadron came up being flashy. They were doing barrel rolls, and loops. To the Coreillians down on shore, it was like a military air show.

They recieved reports that 132 Li Tania planes were on there way. They had just taken off.

30 were B2 Stealth Bombers, 2 were Coreillian designed F-60's, 70 were F22 Raptors and the remaining 30 were F-16s.

(For the Record..F-25'S are made to be better then F-24'S)
OOC: F-25 is a fighter I believe. The F-24 I bought are interceptors, that have an reduced radar print, can hold 24 Phoenix missiles, and can engage 14 taergets at once.

Now, please don't godmode and claim that you have a "stealth" battleship, and claims that a missile only damaged your runway, and claims that only about 150 people died when all the ships that needs thousands of people ot operate, sank.
01-08-2003, 18:49
The 960 come buzzing towards the naval battle. From two hundred miles away, they ready their weapons, gaining locks on enemy planes. Each of them fires one Phoenix-A missile at an enemy plane.

That's 960 AVA missiles streaking towards your air forces.

OOC: The Phoenix-A has a range of 200 miles, and travells extremely quickly. It's very maneuverable for a missile, and very, very hard top shake off. If you get one on your tail, you're as good as dead. And they're not sued by anyone but Haraki, because we never sold them.

"Nunavut States, please respond and states that your vessels WILL NOT enter the so-called 'nertual Chinese' waters. The waters near North Korea are property of Omzian Democratic Republic Federation. If you trespass, you will be dealt with, I repeat, if you trespass, you will be dealt with. NATO and allied members have a right to enter my waters, you don't. Please at least find another route to get to North Korea, for example, via international waters between Omzian waters and North Korean waters."
01-08-2003, 18:53
OOC: Nunavut with the air battle, you will not get anywhere near the Genetia Islands. As if you say you are bombing land targets, I will ignore it. And you will be getting attacked from both sides so a retreat will be hard to do. Coreillia prides itself on it's airforce so we are quite good there. And SOLO Squadron are the most elite pilots in Coreillia. Li Tania has a fairly good air force, but it doesn't come anywhere near Coreillia's quality. They have the numbers though. So this air battle all three countries will lose a lot, but you will lose the battle.

I told you all to ignore Nunavut's Fleet!

Nunavut---I have concentrated on Naval Warfare since my first day here. Within the month, I had nuclear technology and I had a revolutionary battleship. You are a godmoder, Wonson is on the EAST Coast, so how can you come up the Chinese waters and "avoid radar"....while you RP them on the EAST COAST....You sir, are going to be officially ignored on this thread. All attacks that have happened, will be ignored. Your fleet, is destroyed, your airwings are destroyed.

By the way, B-2 Bombers are STEALTH YOU MORON.

Leave this thread, you are not welcome here. If you do not leave, expect to be put on the NATO Hitlist and ranked high.

Nunavut,

Right now you have displayed poor Role-Playing, godmoding, butting in, disrupting play...etc...there is a lot you can learn from other's posting.

Number one: This was an invitation only thread. NATO Members against North Korea, and the people INVITED into it. Which means since you were not invited, you can leave.

Number two: Your fleet losses? Godmoded. Your airlosses? Godmoded. When a carrier takes a hit, it is out of commision. Modern Carriers only hold 85 MAX fighters, F-16s can't be launched from modern carriers either. When a Battleship is hit with a cruise missile, or a VLS missile, it is pretty much out of commission. It will float, but there won't be much left of it. And your destroyer losses: A destroyer is a thin-hulled ship, when it is hit by a heavy missile, it will be destroyed. Your Gunboat losses: More realistic than the rest, but to be honest, those ships are not good escorts.

Your entire fleet is set up poorly, and for a Naval Concentrated country, you have not displayed competent knowledge of fleet logistics.

I will not ask you again, Leave.

General Darklighter was leading 53 B2 Spirits, 20 Coreillian F-60 Freedom Fighters, 15 Tradewind F-35s, and 20 Tradewind PEA-12 Bombers. They had taken off from Coreillia at Solo City Airport and the HMCS Frank Solo.

SOLO 1: We are commencing a bombing run on Nunavut States at Midway. The remaning Nunavut forces are there, so let us blow them to shreads. I want all the bombers to use every last bomb you got on them, and the fighters will protect us if needed from enemy fighters.

They pulled hard to the right, and Nunavut States was just straght ahead.

SOLO 1: Commence Bombing!

He found a military base that looked like a nice target and dropped 2 JDAM Bombs which made the building go up in smoke.

As he was flying over looking for targets, he saw a nice tank brigade to hit, and dropped 4 AGM-154's on them.

SOLO1: Target the Navy and blow all the ships to pieces. I don't want to see one ship floating.

The General dropped 6 JDAM bombs that were targetted at aircraft carriers and other large vessels.

SOLO 5: General, we have see a lot of smoke, the ships must be almost finished.

SOLO 1: Excellant work. Now lets just start hitting big targets all across Midway, wiping out as much as possible. I want to preferably hit military targets but if we can send there population rioting and crash there economy, it sounds great anyway.

HE watched as buildings on his target camera, collapsed, went up in smoke, and other spots were caught in huge blazes.

He saw a airport, where several planes were ready to deploy, so he started dropping bombs across the airport ruining the runway. The mixture of B2 Spirits from Li Tania and Coreillia and the PEA-12 Bombers from Tradewinds had the place ruined within a minute.

SOLO 1: I see an anti-aircraft location on radar, let ius blow the sh-t out of it.

They started targetting the anti-aircraft base. And had it a blaze shortly after.

SOLO 1: Well go have some fun and drop them wherever you like, just make this place lie in ruins. Meet me at *Sends Co-ordinates* when you are done.

SOLO 8: YEEHAW, Let's Roll!

General Darklighter pulled around and searched for any targets.

DEFENSE DEPARTMENT: SOLO 1, we have some places that need to be hit. Our Space Station has found some hidden locations, hit all these, and then head home. *Transmits Co-ordinates*

SOLO 1: On my way.

He had a glance through them and noticed the presidents residence, a hidden underground bunker, the NSNN TV Station and the main power plant.

First off, he sent 3 JDAM bombs at the underground bunker, which had a huge explosion, then two cruise missiles hit NSNN TV Station, then the Residence was hit by 2 cruise missiles and a JDAM bomb.

SOLO 1: Last Target, hit the main power station and blow it to shreads, I am out of bombs so hit all the available power stations you can find then we are headed home.

With Nampo under Rurhian control, the White Fleet moves south to Kaesong. We are currently employing some 80 ships just in the Third Attack group alone.

With the recent budget being almost completely devoted to Military spending Supreme Commander Vladimir has devoted a constierable amount of funds to researching new ships, considering that this war is almost entierly Naval.

We have develpoed Two new ship styles that we will be employing against the North Korean city of Wonsan and Hamhung. These ships have been in production for 2 months and therefore we have produced a wopping 100 ships.

Here are the specs for the New Juggernaught

4 gun turrets ( 2 front 2 aft) each with 3 massive 30 inch barrels
2 Fussion reactors 4 props
1250 feet long 500 feet wide
2500 man crew
communications and tracking is classified
full medical facility
bay doors on the aft side that open to release a full submarine.
also over 250 flak guns

Here are the specs for the new DreadNaught

2 gun turrets with 2, 25 inch guns
over 84 missile bays all equiped with ColdStorm Missiles.
700 feet long 200 feet wide
150 AA Guns
Bay mines for planting in harbors
Depth Charges

The I'll give spec on the fleet heading to the two cities above tomarrow when i have more time..

Derieties,

Nunavut was supposed to come to me with permission to enter my thread. He did not, I spoke with him directly and he still has yet to comply with my rules. He has god-moded, and has been ignored. You may have a strong military, however you have yet to truly prove it, this war may be the best battlegrounds which your JOAPs and your infantry can declare honor, not against a God-Moder who looses 17 sailors on his battleship without any serious damage to the ship. North Korea is by far the best opponent I have faced in NationStates.

You do not want to have your powerful military be known for useless attacks against god-moders, then you become something like CAGED trying to stop The bisons and GDODAD. It just won't happen. My best suggestion to you is that we continue an attack on North Korea.

There will be a second side to this war, one which will end up eventually tieing (SP?) forces up, one which will change the facade which our countries put up, one which will put the nations of NATO in a test. Are you up for it? Or do you want to continue to fight god-moders like Nunavut, who run up the Chinese waters and find themselves on the east coast of North Korea. This challenge will be presented to us, eventually at a much higher stake, and it will thicken our skin. NATO will be stronger for it, NATO will be reknown for it, NATO will prevail.

We have new members, some much older than I, some much younger than I, some with necessary skills to make NATO a globaly feared organization, some with the necessary forces to defend our soveriegn borders from attack and threat. This extension of the treaty represents the original NATO nations taking a step to achieve ultimate world peace, but how are we to do that if we have a war within our own ranks. You have wanted the power to rule NATO, you had the power, now the Head Council is equal. Our new goal is restoring peace, and defending human rights, we shall not restrict ourselves to a constant power-struggle between the Head Council members.

Coriella is right, White Tundra: Do not extend this, it is done now. Nunavut shall be ignored in this thread, his time will come, I promise.

<--Nunavut is next, Led by NATO, extended to the world-->

-Ruhr-

OOC Note: Let us stop this bickering, and get back to the real thing. Derieties, you can easily crush Ruhr. I respect you for that, I then must suggest to you that you concentrate your might against North Korea. Nunavut's time will come, and then we shall gather and destroy him...

The White Fleet has arrived home at the port of St. James.

The Seventh and sixth have arrived at Kaesong and bombardments are starting. We should be past their main defences by Monday. Then we will start the ground invasion.

I thought that I should put in a word about my Nexus Carriers.
they aren't really carriers, they are troopships. After my war with Driesden, it was apparent that White Tundra needed a way to land a larde amount of troops on an island in a short amount of time. Thus the nexus Carrier was born. It is aprox. 1000 feet long by 550 feet wide and 1600 feet tall. Mounted on the sides up and down are dropships (imagine Starship troopers) each ship can hold 50 men fully equipted. Each Carrier can hold 200 Dropships. Thus the nexus carrier is a fast way to diliver 10,000 troops. It is weak to attack and is only lightly armed, so it works best in deep formation under heavy guard.

OCC: Is NATO attacking Nunavut States as well Ruhr?

Ongjin Main Square

"Regimist soldiers lieutenant?.."

"No...they're different. Most likely the foreign invaders that we heard so much about. Jung, what is our strength at this point?"

"It's bad sir. We have four wounded, three of them unable to fight which laves us ten, eleven if you count the straggler."

"Any contacts?"

"None Lieutenant...We're most likely all that is left in Ongjin." Lt. Jeaki Seok mentally cursed at the situation, continuing to observe the enemy troop movements. They were in a safe distance, hiding behind some rubble of an office building. Five of his men were conducting recon away from his position when they heard footsteps. He gave an order to take cover and not fire but apparently one of his soldiers got edgy and fired an opportunity shot. The rest of his strike force was with him, the five hiding behind some concrete wall, inbetween them was a opened area in clear view of the enemy soldiers.

"Orders lieutenant?..We'll take casualties but then we can make haste without worry of being followed.." Jeaki considered this option but was unsure, his second command, Sergeant Eunsoo Chang, waited for the Lt's reply, ready to charge into a fire fight.

"Eunsoo...You have served as my second command for five years..are you doubtful of my decisions?" Eunsoo was a bit confused and taken back by the question.

"N-no sir. You are my..our (referring to the platoon) superior officer ever since it was formed...We must and will take orders from you without much doubt or questions even." Jeaki breathed a heavy sigh for a moment..This is payback in gratitude..Were his last troubling thoughts as he turned to the sergeant to give orders.

"..We're surrendering as captives." Eunsoo wanted to object but kept quiet..figuring his Lt knew what was best to do. Jeaki spoke into his mouthpiece to get the order out to his strike team,

"This is Lt Jeaki Seok. All members of the 134th Striker Team are to strap back their weapons...." He paused a bit, the words difficult to form, "..We are now a PoW group..repeat we are to surrender as PoW's to the enemy troops.." Eunsoo decided to speak to Jeaki once more as if an attempt for the Lt to reverse his decision.

"Are you sure that is wise sir?..Suppose they are Regimist soldiers or they are foreign troops but they kill us on the spot?.."

"Then...all the blame goes to me. I am expected of not being forgiven..Besides, if they are foreigners..then they probably don't know what is going on and we can clear things up for them..." Jeaki and Eunsoo both looked at a man hunched over next to him. The man was deeply fatigued and paranoid, his clothes a bit torn..how he was suggested he wasn't a soldier at all, just some hapless civilian.

Jeaki grabbed a white cloth and tied it to the gun's stock. He raised it slowly, gently waving it to get the attention of the troops. Jeaki then arose from his hiding as did his entire strike team, he then proceeded down the road, his pace slow and calm.

"I am Jeaki Seok of the 134th Infantry Strike Team, 2nd Division. I am hereby surrendering my unit and hand them to your mercy.." Jeaki yelled, expecting that if they were foreign troops that they would have a translator that knew Korean. The trembling man followed closely behind Jeaki, scared of what they would do to him when they found him and who he was.

"Lederer, get your ass over here!" Moore shouted, hearing the enemy troop some 35 feet in front of him in the street waving a white flag. "What's he saying?" he asked Lederer, well versed in Korean. "He's surrendering," Lederer replied. "Dammit, don't be a smart ass, what's he sayin'? Lederer's CO said with a twinge of aggrivation. "He's...Seok of the 134th strike team," Lederer replied. "Tell him to get together the rest of his men and sit down, right in the middle of that square," CO Moore commanded. "MEN! SITUATION'S FINE, COME INTO THE OPEN," he shouted.

"Prime Minister," General Matthews began, "the 3rd Division of paratroopers is headed to capture the airfield northwest of Ongjin, and we have the 1st in Ongjin working to beat the enemy out of the woodwork. Now, the 6th Division is waiting outside Ongjin, and we've got half of the Naval battlegroup diverted south of Ongjin who've just landed as well. "From here on out we're under radio silence, so keep track of the men around you, and watch out for any commie bitches tryin' to end your vacation sooner than you'd like," he said spitting out the snuff in his mouth. "I know as much as you do on the positions of our fleets..which is basically nothing!" Close to two hours had passed and the ambassador was determined to say nothing. "Look here 'gentlemen'...If I had any information pertaining to any relevance to your searches, I would be glad to tell you. But the fact is that I am an ambassador, not a snitch..Even if I did know where our fleet ships were, I would not tell you a damn thing!..There, that is my answer."

Manpo Results

Total: 850
Adults: 530
Children: 320

The effects were relatively immediate and quite promising. Average time of expiration for adults was fourteen seconds. Average for children was six seconds of exposure. Zyklon-S14, once inhaled, sets immediately to shutdown the lungs, suffocating the subject. S-14 then moves to cause irreparable damage to the brain. Exposure to just about two to three seconds will damage the brain and as well cause temporary blindness that can last from a month to half a year. Production of S-14 has commenced.

The SO troops on the eastern coasts have taken hold of Wonsan, while we must also deal with the PDRK and as well as NATO in the north and western areas, we must make them feel 'welcome'.

Yun continued on to the next page, his eyes going over every word.

You will have received a number of shell canisters, the contents of these shell are the Z-S14 gas. Bombard Sigman positions with the gas and report the results. Two infantry divisions as well as an armored battalion will be under your command at Majol-li to properly deal with any remaining SO troops.

"Yeah, but what about us?" The soldier gripped his rifle a little tighter at the thought of chem-weapons.

"What about us? Nobodies going to attack us here. Even if they did, we have gas masks and stuff. The NK troops are all to the far northwest and west, fighting with other NATO countries. NATO air recon had yet to discover their positions..how he knew? He was still there, good enough answer for him. The Z-S14 artillery shells were being loaded a distance back, several tanks and other armored vehicles as escort protection. He then hid back on some nearby rock formations, he used a set up morse code machine to transfer the message straight to the patient colonel.

"Sir, incoming message from scouter 2." Colonel Yun listened closely at the high and low pitched beeps as the operator began jotting down the codes. The operator then flipped through a small black book, finally decoding the message and handing the paper to the Colonel. CO Andrews woke from a short sleep when he'd ordered his men to take rest at some 1:00 AM in the morning, about a mile out from the airport. "Garcia, get your ass over here," Andrews said, a bit short-tempered and crabby from his short 4-hour sleep. Kusan, was being occupied by Ruhrian forces so the Li Tania calvary and infantry units were to meet up with Ruhrian soldiers to head west. And continue the invasion on North Korea to get to the capitol eventually.

The 666,666 military personal were about to be on their way. The calvalry part of this huge elven force were being loaded into their tanks and Bradley Fighting vehicles. The infantry soldiers were loading into Hummers, Jeeps and Troop Transports.

It took about half an hour to load everything up, and get onto the road, but the Li Tania army started to head south towards the port city, to continue west with forces from NATO ally, Ruhr.

After the meeting up with Ruhrian forces, they would head westward to conquer a few other cities, then to Pyongyang.

The road they were on was a bumpy dirt road. The elven commander preferred to be off road for distances. He had a feeling that this trip would have a few surprises on it, and suspected a possible ambush. He did not share this with the other soldiers and did not have any evidence towards this, but he had a hunch.

Ambassador Dae Soon was sitting, now pouring in sweat. Agents Stonewall and Heimler had turned up the interrogation by questioning his intentions in Ruhr, threatening him with the death penalty for espionage. The interrogation was to continue, after the two interrogators took a short bathroom break. The two were walking back in the long hallway, once again.

Heimler made a motion with his hand, exemplifying his anger in the process of the interrogation. “He isn’t breaking! I cannot understand this!”

”The thing is,” Stonewall replied, “that he has had too much training in interrogation response. He was well aware that if war started, that he would end up being brought in…so he must have prepared for this.”

”You have a point, let’s proceed in the case. Maybe we should move onto the political strain in North Korea.”

”What do you mean?” Stonewall questioned the suggestion with a confused facial expression.

”I mean loyalists in their ranks. Not everyone in a communism enjoys it.”

”Yeah, let me start this time.” Stonewall opened the door, into the room. The same two guards were carefully watching the ambassador in the interrogation room. “OK, stand guard outside.”

”Sir, yes, Sir!” the two marines followed their orders. Heimler and Stonewall entered the room one after another.

“Mr. Ambassador, I hope you enjoyed your rest. It will be your only for a long time.”

”I, in fact, did enjoy it.” He said sarcastically. His face was red with anger.

Stonewall pulled out the chair and sat down across from him, his face relaxed, his hands fixed on the table. He gave the appearance that he was willing to get things accomplished. “Mr. Ambassador, since you are reluctant to tell us about North Korean naval strength and locations, I will come back to them at a later point. What is your political stance in North Korea?”

”People’s Democratic Republic of Korea.”

Heimler extended the answer, “in other words a communist state and government. Is that correct?”

“Yes, you’re correct.” Soon’s answer was angered, and agitated.

”What is the rate of emigration from North Korea?”

”Zero percent that is a fact. Why do you want to know when you can look it up?”

”Don’t test us, Mr. Ambassador,” Stonewall said without emotion. “Because of your intolerance for emigration, I am sure you have several citizens of your country very disloyal to your cause.”

”Yes, there are a few who dislike the government and its choices.”

”Perhaps you shouldn’t pretend that it isn’t just a few people.”

”We are the People’s government, they have chosen to elect the style.”

”But you have managed to take away their rights and install a cult of personality among your people.”

”You are generalizing the communist state of society!”

”You generalize the capitalist way of life. Now, shall we continue?”

”Fine!”

”So, you do know that there are a few who dislike your government.”

”Yes! I already answered that!”

”Has there been any large group?”

”I refuse to answer that question!”

”You refusal to ask the question will only cost more lives, Mr. Ambassador.”

”Who’s live? Your imperialist youth?”

”Mr. Ambassador, you should desist with the generalization. Do you have a large group of revolutionaries?”

”NO! The PEOPLE want it to be that way! So why would they want to change our leader out?”

”Your arrogance is very unbecoming of an ambassador.” Heimler mentioned. The question remained unanswered after forty-five minutes of debate. Heimler slammed his fist on the table right in front of the ambassador. “Damnit! Tell me what you know about the PDRK disloyal groups in your country!” He pulled out a black Luger from his pant holster. He held it up against the ambassador’s head, whose face was now in a state of shock.

”I would rather die than be disloyal to my country!”

”So be it! I will count till five. Don’t forget about your wife, Mrs. Lee Soon. Five.”

”You bastard!”

”Four. Three. Two.”

”All right!”

”One.” Heimler pulled the trigger, and the gun popped. The blank shells worked like a charm.

”Damnit you bastard!”

Stonewall exploded in laughter, and the ambassador laid his head on the table and started cursing in Korean. “I will talk you imperialist bastard! There is a group growing in North Korea,” growing, Dae Mi Soon thought to himself, more like already half the state. “They are known as the USSNK, and several of the disloyalists are in charge of entire military sections. Those are quite possibly the ones who attacked you.”

More information was released in the interrogation, (OOC Note: This is where North Korea takes over for this section. After this, I will officially announce this to the other governments involved…remember everyone….you don’t know this is going on. Just North Korea and I do.)

CINCEAST Temporary HQ in Kusan
-------------------------------------------------

Aleksayev Kirensk was packing up his briefcase, he was to join the armoured offensive about to take place. CINCEAST ran into the office that he based in, “Li Tania is sending their troops south to meet up with us. We need to wait for them, that will give us 2/3rds of a million troops to back up our 500,000 and Derieties’ 200,000.”

”Two-Thirds of a million? And they are heading south?”

”Yes, from Sigma Octavus controlled Wonsan.” CINCEAST, General Jonathon Striker, was in charge of all Ruhrian forces in this war, as well as the planning for NATO advancement. “We will wait for them, it is only a 50 some mile trip for them. They will be securing the line from Wonsan so we can have a direct connection with Sigman troops. Our goal is to wrap around the southern provinces of North Korea.”

”Yes, sir! I was about on my way to join up with the 72nd Armoured Delta Defence.”

”Are you going with them?”

”Yes, sir. I thought we were going to move our HQ to Kaesong once we arrived there.”

”We will, just after we secure the lines. I will be moving along the line through plane.”

“Ok, sir. I will be directing the combat until then. Any special orders?”

”Yes, don’t get killed.”

”Seriously, sir.”

”Take Kaesong with as little casualties as possible. I wouldn’t recommend sending in the armoured units.”

”Yes, sir. I was planning on sending in the infantry first to secure a section of the city, then continue in with Motor-Rifle.”

”That is a good plan. White Tundran forces are having trouble combating enemy troops out of the city. There is a land-mine field just to the west of the city which they are having trouble clearing. I suggest you get the 27th Armoured moving on that. If I recall correctly, 1/3rd of those tanks have the clearing rams on them.”

”They do, General.”

”Good, Aleksayev. Come back alive. I am going to send the 1st Attack Helicopter in front of your forces to clear the path. Expect heavy resistance as you grow nearer to the western coast. Intelligence says they have a few dozen full units there, and more moving in.”

”Well, that would make sense. Oglethorpian units are causing hell in the Ongjin area.”

”They are currently moving to occupy Haeju, reports say they are starting to land M1 Abrams. Once they take Haeju’s airstrips they will land 150 of them a day. They will start landing more troops after that.”

”What forces do White Tundran units have?”

”PRBs, infantry, light armoured, medium armoured.”

”Ok, General. I am going in the second wave of the 72nd. General Barsamian is traveling in his command convoy, and I will be following him in the M4 C2V (OOC: It is basically a MLRS tank without the missiles and a control room instead of the rotary launch pad).”

”Alek, keep in close touch with us. As soon as you clear 25 miles, we will send the motor-rifle divisions to come in as your reserves.”

”Ok. What do we do about fuel?”

”There will be a supply station after 150 miles. We are going to start bringing the fuel in with the Motor-Rifle, and lots of it.”

”Sir, yes, Sir!”

”Good luck, Deputy.” CINCEAST left the room, and headed out back to his station near the helipad. Throughout the Ruhrian occupied Kusan port city, there were sounds of tanks and Hummers running through the streets. The soldiers had already began preparing for the Li Tanian force’s arrival. 85% of the Ruhrian soldiers had arrived in Kusan, the other 15 were still in transit. Aleksayev walked out of his office and into the room where his staff had occupied. They were packing up their maps, radios, monitors, and computers. Soldiers had placed them into the command vehicle.

Wonsan

The SO general walked up to an comspec who was working in an APC converted to a mobile-HQ. The soldier looked up and saw the general. He stood up and snapped a salute. "Sir!"

"When will that hard-line be up with Kusan, soldier?

"Sir, we don't know yet. It will be soon though."

"Good, tell me when it is up." The general turned and walked out of the APC.

His eyes slowly opened, vision returning to the black night, ..damn smoke.. he muttered before a hand hit him in the back of his head.

"Wake up Lu!" One of the soldiers quietly hissed at Lu, forcing the man to rub the sleep out of his eyes and grab hold of his rifle.

"Alright..alright, I'm up..what's going o-" Lu's statement was cut off as the sound of his commander traversed through the radio.

"All grunts listen up..Scout 3 has reported movement a few clicks from us, by now you should hear some armor movement. I want CE teams to set up the remainder of those mines on the double! Lt Ahn, take your team and head over to Alpha Point 3 along with Jin and his team. The rest get into the Shingo deployment and ready for the ambush..Sergeant Ohn, prepare the h and when I give the word, you light those armors up.."

"Hoping to take out their armor and divide them up Major?"

"Damn right Lt. Choi..We're running low on supplies and we need to head back to Pyongyang, if we can get through this, we should be able to make a break to the capital without any delay...Come on people! move!"

Wonsan, North Korea

"Artillery ready Colonel!.." Shouted the officer as the last of the art. commanders confirmed acquiering their set targets. Yun paused for a moment, his eyes fixated more on the map of Wonsan, sliding his fingers over the varoius roads and main junction points within the city. His subordinate, Miju Soe, stared at the colonel, wondering on the silent wait, she spoke up as to get some sort of response,

"Colonel Yun sir..the Z-S12 are ready to be fired.." ..still nothing..Yun just stood there, not even a turning gesture to signify that he was listening..

"Col-"

"What are you waiting for Miju?..Give the order to fire!.." the Colonel suddenly exclaimed, surprising Miju but getting a nod and even an apology from her,

"The Colonel has given the orders..FIRE!!!"

The thunderous booms of the artillery travelled all the way from the stations' origin of the Oreaju Hills, the shells climbed down toward the surface, each with a unfamiliar green gas tailing behind them..

DIA Headquarters, Ruhr

"What can you tell us about this 'USSNK' ambassador?" This was it, having to put up with s.o.b. was finally going to pay off, "..We'll need to know as much as we can so that we're then able to work out this whole situation beneficial for the both of us.."

Dae stared at the desk, contemplating over the past few hours and the consequences, ..I will be labeled a traitor..I-I cannot..but.. the ambassador slowly rose his head and and stared directly at both Stonewall and Heimler, himself being quiet for a few moments before speaking,

"..Your intel are correct in that we are a Communist state and that we do not tolerate political opposition..but you however dimissed that over the past few years we have moved toward a free-open trade market with many contract deals with foreign investors..and because of a number of civil and even political pressure, we guaranteed few civil liberties.."

"..And so the democratic-libertarian movement begins.." Heimler piped up, his expression a smirk as he ignored the stern look from Dae.

"..As I was saying...Much of our industries vastly improved and benefitted from these international dealings, the country was in a state of rehealing itself and becoming self-dependent for much of the people's needs...To some, it was working 'too well' as they stated. We had to expel over eleven officials for corruption..that is, contracting deals for one's own benefi-.."

"I thought that was what Communist officials did in.."

"Quiet Heimler..I don't want to hear any more of your smartass remarks!...Continue ambassador.."

"Thank you.." Dae gave a dissatisfying look to Heimler before continuing, "..About two or three years ago, we received two reports from our state internal affairs agents, both detailing about arising discontent with how things were running but these were unconfirmed and even after a few months of searching, our agents turned up nothing..So the K-CIB dismissed it. I even have to admit that I discarded the reports as a possible threat to the state..I kept only little suspicion.."

"..Then tell us why you were really sent here ambassador?..If you are kept in close touch with your former then I doubt that you were just sent to play liason between countries..and how much does your organization know so far?.."

"I was sent with the primary focus as the intention, ambassador between us and your people.."

"..And?.."

"To form a strong military binding, attempt to learn of your military armaments and capabilities.."

"..And what reason does Pyongyang have for us for you to play military spy?.."

"Evaluation..evaluation of your strengths and weaknesses.."

"And wh-"

Wonsan

The thud of artillery cannons was heard on the horizon. Canisters trailing gas were seen flying into the streets.

"Gas! Get your gas masks on!"

Several hundred troops were too slow and inhaled the gas. They died fairly quickly. The rest of the troops managed to get their masks on and were safe from the gas.

The order to move out was given and all the troops moved either to their vehicles or on foot. Within an hour, most of the troops had left the city heading north towards the city of Komya. The rest would soon follow amid the dissapating gas.

One tank commander looked back and at the few dead soldiers laying around. "Bastards, using gas on us. We'll make them pay." With that, he pulled back into his tank and it rumbled off down the road to the north.

(There are still about 5,000 troops in Wonsan, to keep it secured and clear up the dead.)

SO controlled Airport

The canisters landed less in the airport than Wonsan, and there were only 5 casualties. Even the prisoners were given gas masks and were safe from the gas.

"Sir, the main force is moving out of Wonsan. This gas made them decide to pull the move now."

"I see. Well, all we have to do is stay here and keep the airport secured. Bastards are gonna pay for this gas."

Admiral Jeff Milestone met with President Starfighter (I'm playing this after my civil war thread) on the TNS Shining Truth .

Nova: "I'm glad the chaos in Shining City is over. The rest of the Gundams will come from the colonies. I take it we have three Gundams here?"

Jeff: "Right. Plus an advance force of Mobile Suits, and the first unit of mini-mobile suits, tanks, and army weaponry. How's everything on your...

Before he could say "end", a violent explosion rocked the ship. The ship was being shelled by N0rth Korea! Luckily that missile missed, but the other ones...

OOC: Gotta go. See ya tomorrow!

"All units, assume Phase III battle positions!"

The TNF forces detached the Mobile Suits and prepared to attack the as of yet untagged NK ship. But something bothered Nova... how did they know in advance about the MS deployment?

a few km north of Kusan

The Li Tania convoy kept moving, but all of a sudden the lead troop transport carrying 25 elven infantrymen exploded.

The elven commander yelled into his radio. "HALT, we are under attack! All infantry men get out and look for the enemyor any landmines!"

Little did he know that the transport was blown up by a mine. He got out and looked around, and noticed the exploded land mine.

"False alarm, it was a landmine! We are gonna need to send a squad ahead of us to remove the mines. We will have to wait until sunrise to do that. I want scouts to go around the area and look for mines and enemy forces now!"

The elf suspected more danger, he had lost 25 infantry men, and the driver. He did not want to lose any more men, but this was war, and he knew there would be casualties. He would do his best to make them as little as possible.

The NK ship was quickly neutralized. Nothing could stand the power of three Gundams. Nova immediately switched the Armed Forces code to Delta Delta Orange, and started tracking NK radio signals.

"Major, shall we spring?" exclaimed one of his subordinate commanders, his voice giving away his eagerness to kill..or be killed for that matter

"Negative"Idiot...was the word that ran through Major Hue's mind as he continued speaking, "..they're not in range of our launchers (rpg's etc..)...Lt. Choi, what's your status?"

"Sir. All our pipes are ready and loaded sir."

"Alright, the whole lot of you listen up..Dead radio from this point on, when I give the word over the comm, give them all hell.." He listened and heard no confirmation but he knew they comprehended, Hue laid still in the shrubbery, using those small wire cameras to keep watch of the oncoming troops, the fire and smoke making a most pleasurable background for the Major.

I'm back.
06-08-2003, 03:36
The Li Tania scouts, started going through the bushes, and the grasses hunting for land mines.

The crew had successfully deactivated five mines, but they kept on searching. A group of three scouts noticed some movement, and heard some noises over by a shrub.

They aimed their machine guns and fired into the shrub that rustled.

OOC: If its alright with you Coreillia, I'll have your scouts check up on what they shot.

3:34 SMT; Outskirts of Kusan, North Korea

The bullets ripped through the quiet night and the shrubbery as a loud yelp came in reaction. The scouts slowly head toward bushes, their rifles still aimed ahead of them. One of the scouts peers down and sees the limp, bloody body of a dog, its mouth opened but its panting silenced. The scout was about to draw back when he noticed two other lumps, he got a closer look and sure enough saw the bodies of two Korean soldiers, both suffering shots straight through the head, throat, and chest area.

"Oh please oh please oh please.." repeated machine gunner, Hook Soon, his breathing quiet yet in hard jumps as the lungs and heart tried to keep up with his face. He laid against a tree when the machine gun fire took down his two comrades, his face was of full perspiration as his breathing became quicker as he further tightened the grip he had on a rifle he took from one of the dead soldiers. He closed his eyes as he tried to keep himself from making any noticeable noise..out of nowhere he not a sudden itch in his nose..

Alright..range isn't what I expected but its good enough...I hope.. Major Hue laid his body still, braving against a bad itch he had in his neck area. He continued to look at the movement from the enemy troops through his wire camera. About a minute or two later, he gently switched his mouthpiece radio to all team channels, achoo!..His eyes grew wide as the sneeze got the attention of the enemy troops, gunshots following afterward..as the second shot of an assault rifle rang through the trees, Hue got out of his hiding, raising his rifle and screaming out, "Trap is sprung!", he pulled his trigger and let loose his own fury of bullets... Lt. Choi lifted his launcher at one of the transport trucks, launching the projectile straight toward the driver's seat. Choi's team then emerged with their launchers as well, picking targets ranging from armored fighting vehicles to large infantry groups; some of the troops even lobbed grenades to help contribute further damage. "All units fire!" could be heard through the helmets of every Korean soldier present as they rose their rifles and began a furious firefight with the opposing forces. Machine gun teams, whom had long had their equipment long set up, let loose the chains of death, some with unforgiving screams at the enemy..

All three scouts were surprised and were immediately knocked over with massive bullet wounds.

The elven commander heard the shots and the screams from his men, and yelled into the radio, "WE ARE UNDER ATTACK! ALL FORCES AFTER THEM!"

The tanks and bradley's start driving off the roads towards the gun shots, with the infantry men following. With continuous machine gun fire, one of the Bradley's exploding killing all the crew. The tanks and bradley's started firing, and the infantry returned machine gun fire at the opposing forces. Twelve of the braver infantry men headed ahead of the tanks and shot at the direction of the enemy fire, but were all shot down within seconds.

Outskirts of Kusan, North Korea

Choi loaded up his launcher again, taking aim to one of the approaching Bradely tanks. Behind him, a pair of machine gun teams were cut down by enemy fire. He aim was steady yet shaky at the same time, the view of the tank's turret came into view as he squeezed the trigger.

----------

He ran as fast as he could, occasionally tripping but getting back up as he heard the pings of impacting bullets. In front of him were a few logs, behind him were the sprouts of dirt as the bullets hounded for their target. He made a fast break and jumped for cover, he then crawled over to a standing tree.

Lee then snapped up his sniper rifle and looked about, he saw a few enemy infantry walking on by..ideal targets. He steadied his rifle and got the head of a soldier in his scopes, he pulled the trigger but ignored if he made a kill or not, diverted in search for another target. He then centered his scope on another soldier, the symbols on his uniform giving away some rank..maybe a squad leader. His sight was shaky but the center aimed at the throat of the man. Lee at first was hesitant, but for what?..he then snapped out of it and pulled the trigger.

----------

Bullets flew in all directions and claimed all those who happen to fall in their direction of travel. The tanks were proving the hardest of obstacles as their heavy plating proved effective in defense against the bullets and even an rpg round or two. Trucks burned and bodies screamed as the battle ensued.
