This is a recruitment post for the region of Tokelau
Tokelau is, currently, a very small region seeking other countries to help create a region of equality for ALL. You may be wondering why this is any different to any other region, I shall explain- Tokelau has NO permanent UN delegate. The delegation shall be run by rotation, this is as follows-
- Delegation by Rotation
"Everyone will vote for everyone, apart from The Fiefdom of Farmer Giles Farmstead who will vote only once. They will rotate their ONE vote each week; as their endorsement will decide the delegate. This will allow 'Delegation by Rotation' with minimum effort."
This region must be password protected to prevent a breakdown in rotation. It is obviously not practical to rotate the delegate more than once per week as the UN resolutions that have been endorsed will be reset for each change. It is also not practical to have a large list for rotation, so a list of 5 to 8 nations shall be chosen for rotation as soon as we have enough nations in the region.

All nations are democratic and have good civil rights and political freedoms. We are a small region who work together and typically do not engage in heavy wars...we wish to remain a region of less than 30 regions, but we currently only have three. UN involvement is minimal as we have seen how many incredibly poorly written but aesthetically pleasing proposals get voted in. Meritocracy Shows the Way
It's a bit alarming when some players create a web site for their NationStates region that's more professional than NationStates itself. But that's what the residents of The New Meritocracy have done -- check out their handiwork at merit.jink.org. The site features just about everything a region could ever want, including a map, a charter, and a truly amazing collection of colorful, well-presented statistics.
Even Max Barry was amazed with it! Infact our founder Kitimat aka Winnipeg was helped by Max Barry himself in the latest update. But in that there was a downside, when we asked Winnipeg to create us an anti detection script to sneak into the Pacific without being ejected he refused citing that Max Barry had helped him with the site and he didn't want to hurt their relationship! What an honorable guy!

The mixture of rolling hills, craggy mountainous terrain and swampy mudlands have caused the residents of Greenlane Shire to grow up with a rather odd behavioral pattern. They purchase vehicles that are expensive to maintain, drive, and buy, and then try thier best to destroy them on the landscape. The entire region is surrounded by a virtually impenatrable mountain range, which only the select residents, and owners of Land Rovers can surmount. The occasional Unimog is able to pass beyond the gates of Maurice Wilkes, but not much else.
The rolling praries are where the wheat, and barley are grown. Grapes, and hops in the upper reaches of the Green Oval mountains. Trade is not easy with Greenlane shire because it is nearly inaccesable, except by air and Land Rover, so the people of Greenlane Shire have grown up to become very self sufficiant. There are no mechanics in Greenlane Shire because every individual must maintain thier own Land Rover, and are therefore far more experienced than any mechanic would be anyhow. It is popular to invite neighbors over for sharing in the work, the accepted currency for such help is the Pizza, and Beer.

This is a recruitment post for the region of Tokelau
Tokelau is, currently, a very small region seeking other countries to help create a region of equality for ALL. You may be wondering why this is any different to any other region, I shall explain- Tokelau has NO permanent UN delegate. The delegation shall be run by rotation, this is as follows-
- Delegation by Rotation
"Everyone will vote for everyone, apart from The Fiefdom of Farmer Giles Farmstead who will vote only once. They will rotate their ONE vote each week; as their endorsement will decide the delegate. This will allow 'Delegation by Rotation' with minimum effort."
This region must be password protected to prevent a breakdown in rotation. It is obviously not practical to rotate the delegate more than once per week as the UN resolutions that have been endorsed will be reset for each change. It is also not practical to have a large list for rotation, so a list of 5 to 8 nations shall be chosen for rotation as soon as we have enough nations in the region.

Meritocracy Shows the Way
It's a bit alarming when some players create a web site for their NationStates region that's more professional than NationStates itself. But that's what the residents of The New Meritocracy have done -- check out their handiwork at merit.jink.org. The site features just about everything a region could ever want, including a map, a charter, and a truly amazing collection of colorful, well-presented statistics.
Even Max Barry was amazed with it! Infact our founder Kitimat aka Winnipeg was helped by Max Barry himself in the latest update. But in that there was a downside, when we asked Winnipeg to create us an anti detection script to sneak into the Pacific without being ejected he refused citing that Max Barry had helped him with the site and he didn't want to hurt their relationship! What an honorable guy!

Our region is relatively small and relatively young in the game of Nation States, however all our member nations believe the region to be fair and we all have an appreciation for the lighter side of life, and chocolate chip cookies . . . . . . The mixture of rolling hills, craggy mountainous terrain and swampy mudlands have caused the residents of Greenlane Shire to grow up with a rather odd behavioral pattern. They purchase vehicles that are expensive to maintain, drive, and buy, and then try thier best to destroy them on the landscape. The entire region is surrounded by a virtually impenatrable mountain range, which only the select residents, and owners of Land Rovers can surmount. The occasional Unimog is able to pass beyond the gates of Maurice Wilkes, but not much else.
The rolling praries are where the wheat, and barley are grown. Grapes, and hops in the upper reaches of the Green Oval mountains. Trade is not easy with Greenlane shire because it is nearly inaccesable, except by air and Land Rover, so the people of Greenlane Shire have grown up to become very self sufficiant. There are no mechanics in Greenlane Shire because every individual must maintain thier own Land Rover, and are therefore far more experienced than any mechanic would be anyhow. It is popular to invite neighbors over for sharing in the work, the accepted currency for such help is the Pizza, and Beer.
