My request is simple, my current flag, only with a gold Polish/German style eagle with wings outstretched and with it's head turned left over the centre. Oh and maybe soften the edges a little or something, make it a little less sharp.

Is there a problem with the EP forum? I can't get on.

In any case: Loop, I have made a flag, and am rather proud of it, using Corel Photopaint. However, the smallest size Photpoaint allows is 14.4 KB, far above the 5.5 allowed. Is there something I can do about this, such as sending the flag to you?

In any case, I was wondering If I could get one of these neato flags. Basically, if would be that of a Red-tailed hawk, veiwd from the side, in flight, surrounded by a whit circle. this would basically be placed on top of the rest of the flag, which would be top half red, bottom half blue, with five stars on each half.

I would like someone to make a soviet-esque flag for me. Dark red, with a black hammer and sickle in the upper right hand corner, slightly larger than it is on the actual soviet flag, no star. Kinda like that, but with the border a little narrower, and by right hand corner I meant the flag's right hand corner, where the canton would be if there was one. If it's at all possible, i'd like the hammer and sickle to be black. yes, no star.

I'd like a flag for a future puppet, please.

Take the Czech flag, turn it back to front. Make the top bit blue, the bottom bit red and the triangle bit green.

Then can you take the badge from the East Germany flag and change the ribbon colours to blue, red and green? Then stick it in the top left corner.

Needless to say, I've been very creative today.

Most if not all of my source material was found through google image search. I already had the military flags made, I just had to change the color scheme and make the crescents.

I'd like a flag similar to my current one (http://www.nationstates.net/images/flags/uploads/steel_and_fire.jpg) (a sword crossing in front of a torch, on a black background), except a little bit neater and less copy-and-pasted appearing. If it's possible for the sword and torch to be in silver that would be cool as well. Thanks.

My flag idea is a bit weird. First off the flags background is just purple. In the center there would be a green branch from a tree. The branch would go straight then turn into a Y and be sort of jagged all along it. Then hanging off the end by the green string right part of the branch would be, yes this is weird, the shape of a Coke bottle. If a coke bottle shape cannot be made then a bottle/can shape would do. Also the can shape would be a medium red. Finally in the top right corner there would be a green (same color as the branch) Q. Preferably with a really bold profound looking font. The final thing is the text "Quamunists Unite!" Preferably arching under the branch in the same color red as the bottle/can. If this could be made I would be extremely obliged and if anyone is curious as to why it is such an odd design feel free to ask <.<. Oh yeah and telegram me if neccesary.

Hey mate, I'd appreciate a flag like the Somali one (only with the shade of blue you get with the one on-site, not the blue I've seen in some Google Image Searches). I alse would like a white cross, like the St. George's Cross coming from behind the star. Also, if possible, with the star and the cross being white, would it be possible to make the star stand out from the cross somehow? I'd rather both the star and cross remained white, but if there is no other way around it, feel free to change the star's colour. Finally, if you feel creative at all, just add in anything that you fancy. I won't entirely stifle the creative juices. . . :D

Hello, is it posable to have a flag with:
the union flag (union jack) in the top left cornener containing a freemason logo (the compass thingy) un the middle (where the red cross meets).
for the rest of the flag i would like a royal blue background with a gold diagonal line from to to bottom in the direction of this slash /. half way down the line a sircle of the same colour with a rhino on it.

EDIT: I'm changing it a bit to something I think would be a bit better, but I'm leaving the original post below in case it might be easier to do or would look better.

The top half of the flag would be occupied mostly by the front face of the Parthenon, with a clear blue sky behind it. Below that, "in front" of the Parthenon, is the ground, covered in grass, with a blue shirt and a white shirt, as well as an open book laid down on the grass. The open book is in the middle, the blue shirt on the left and the white one on the right, and both shirts have the sleeve on the side of the book stretched out toward the book, with each cuff right next to it. The opposite sleeves (if this is possible) would be folded so that the cuffs lay on the chest of the shirt.

Note: The Parthenon face would be vertical, while the ground and the stuff on it would be horizontal, so the Parthenon should be face-on while the stuff on the ground is at an angle.

Below is my original idea:

The Parthenon in the background (with the background to it sky blue), with ivy climbing up the two side edges (of the flag, not the Parthenon,) In the foreground, a blue shirt on the left, an open book in the middle, and a white shirt on the right. Finally, a peace symbol in one of the corners (wherever it looks best)

Hello. Is there any way of making this album cover look flag like? If you choose to take up the challenge, I'm pretty open because I don't really have any ideas beyond pulling out the background (replacing it with a single color) and simplifying Eddie and his loyal companions. Frankly, as much as the picture is suited to my nation, I'm not sure it could be made into a decent flag since good flags are often simple, full of symbols one can obsorb at a glance.

I tried doing a flag to your specifications, but gave up. :( To me, the stripes made the design too "busy". So here's a version with a plain red background. If the stripes are important, maybe someone else will give it a try.

Would it be possible to sign up as a flag-maker for this service? My skills have largely been honed in the direction of traditional flags. As well, I work best with detailed instructions.

I don't just make the PNG; I resize it for NS use; the PNG I intend more for Wikis. I also keep the work file (pspimage) on hand in case someone wants a rework or variation later. I'm most available on weekends, and to a lesser extent, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You are free to work on flags, your work is excellent. None of us have authority to say who can or cannot make flags, so you are most welcome to join us.

Ausserland: I noticed you make your flags quite small, this isnt totally necessary. The only true limitation as far as size is concerned is disk size. No bigger than 10kb, which can be limiting for larger flags, but can facilitate flags that are larger. I tend to make my flags larger with little problem, though I may have to lower the quality depending how much content is on the flag. Just a little advice.

Thanks for the advice, Tree Dweller. I already knew that. See, I'm an old codger who's into following the rules. And the rules say 107x71. I wish they'd change that. If they're not enforcing the rule, it should be removed. One problem with changing that rule, though, is that we'll end up with a bunch of flags that aren't proportional to those dimensions. They look like crap on the region pages. Oh, well.

When I make a flag, I work in 214x142. If somebody adopts a flag for their nation or region, I put that version in the Ausserland Flag Museum as a GIF. If the person wants that larger version, he or she can grab it from there.

If I ruled the world (of NS, that is), I'd edit the flag submission text to require flags to be either 214x142 or 107x71, in JPG, PNG or GIF format, and not larger than 10k. Maybe we should try posting something like that in Technical?

A recent contest was conducted among the small population of Anago recently, the goal of which was to design a new flag for our proud nation, one that symbolized our great nation's love for sushi. The results of the contest were astounding and from the many submissions only one thing could be determined: Anagoans can't draw for shite.

Therefore, we are humbly requesting the services of one of the great flagmaking nations of the world. In return for an acceptable flag, we offer a lifetime invitation to the Anago Royal Sushi Bar and Cabaret to the delegate of the designing country and his/her staff.

The challenge of putting sushi on a flag is that it's not easy to draw such things without the results looking like your cat regurgitated on the standard. With that in mind, I'm going to try to avoid making specific requests and leave the designer with plenty of creative room to work. The only requirements are that the color green be used predominately and that there be some recognizable symbolic connection to our love for sushi.

If you choose to undertake such a challenge, you have the gratitude of the kingdom.

If you do that, please ask for round numbers, like 180x120. I use a grid to organize the components of my flag, and that's kind of hard to set up with two prime numbers for dimensions.

And here's an idea for a sushi flag: the grey spirals are stylized rolls of sushi, and the larger quarter-spiral is just a decorative thing, perhaps a tablecloth.

Ceorana, I really like your version, though I'm having trouble sizing it down to under 10kb - and could you swap the blue for green?

I'm here on behalf of the country of Majawat, Complete and Total Freedom... or bust!

I'm here requesting a flag to be made for our country. In honor of our sacred motto, I leave complete and total freedom to the creator of the flag. All we ask is the colors Red and Black be used in the flag, all else goes.

Hi. Moosle is currently borrowing Vanuatu's flag, so it definitely needs it's own. I tried to go to the other thread, but it wouldn't let me post. Anyway, I would be deeply appreciative if you would do Moosle's flag.

I like the general layout of Vanuatu's flag-- the three sections, separated with the yellow line. The bottom can stay green, but I would like the top half to be blue (not a light blue). The green and blue are separated with a yellow line. The triangle part I would like yellow. It's blue in the image, but you can change the color if you feel like. Red would look nice. But you can make it what you like.

Moosle, here's an idea for yours. Red for the star made the flag have too many colors (it's a bit heavy on colors as it is), so I went with yellow, same as the border.

I don't know if anyone is still doing this, but I'd like a flag made for my puppet Ulzaxid. Here is what I have in mind:

What I'd like is five different colored curving lines that all lead to a white circle all of which is on a black background. The five colors for the lines should be pink, purple, yellow, green, and red.

The United Socialist States would like to request a national flag with the following components:

White Background

Lime Green "X" (such as the blue one in Scotland's flag)

If possible, I would like a flag with a golden scale (balance) on it, with a silver olive branch in one tray of the scale, and a bronze bird with wings spread in the other, with a red sword lying horizontally beneath them, with the point to the right, all against a cerulean background, please. Also, please try to put more emphasis on the first three symbols than the sword. Sorry for being so particular. :D

I have 2 flag requests please. The first one is very simple.

1) Flag with a big X on the front, similar to Scotland and Jamaica, but not as thin as Jamaica's. A fairly thick X should be colored black with thin white outlinings. The background should be purple.

2) Similiar to the Ugandan flag. Turn the red stripes into white stripes. The middle circle background should be changes to yellow. And the rooster replaced with a black Roman Fasces with the blade pointing west. References for both the Ugandan flag and the Roman Fasces are below.

If you could create an extra version of the 2nd flag, with black, gold, and silver instead of black, yellow, and white, I would greatly appreciate it.
