*Nikki sighs as she and Odin take the elevator to the fourth floor.*

Nikki: "It's always bigger guns. Bigger bombs. Bigger plasma powered thermal death rays. Ugh... No wonder the world is so violent..."

*Shaking her head slowly, she leans back against the elevator wall, her catears twitching slightly.*

Nikki: "So what's the plan? We go in and shoot anything that moves?"


((OOC: Yes, Nikki is rather out of character right now, and yes I'm doing it on purpose. :P))

Odin was more concerned with what he had just heard on his head set.

"It seems these terroists are Silver Scorpians. Things are going to get extremely messy. These guys were responsible for the death of many BCS units, the kidnapping of the VP and the destruction of a mountain. I doubt negotiations will go far with these lot."

The elevator arrived and Odin proceeded to the armoury.

"Uh. We may have a problem here. Most of the terroists captured were...... executed. But we may be able to get the remaining ones out."

A pair of doctors reach the security floor sweep the area with machine gun fire, leaving everyone dead. Now the SS (Silver Scorpions) had camera access to every room inside the building and the parking lot.

*Nikki nods as she too overhears the report of the situation.*

Nikki: "The Silver Scorpians..."

*She says to herself as she trails Odin to the armory.*

"They are freedom fighters my friend. In addition to this, we also want a jumbo jet filled with fuel and ready to take off. With the delivery of our friends to us here, half the hostages will be released, with the rest following us to the airport where they will be released as we safely board the plane. After our departure from Assington airspace, the bombs placed in famous landmarks will be deactivated. If we do not safely exit, the bombs will automatically detonate, and we will have the last laugh. The countdown starts now. Deliver the prisoners in 45 minutes or we will begin making martyrs of our patients here."

Maria rings the police.
"Help, there are some terrorists here who have rounded everyone up! What do we do?"

Odin keys in the code and enters. After replacing a few pieces of equipment he withdraws two MP5's, a bag of tear gas and flash grenades and two odd looking body armour suits.

"These suits are new. I'm not quite sure how they work but you can almost take a point blank shot from one of these and still not get wounded."

He makes his way to the back of the armoury and withdraws two hand held grenade launchers and two strange looking cubed devices.

"This in an HC generator. It projects a hologram around you based on your surroundings. When standing still you are completely invisible. When moving it is possible to notice but only if very close. You are also noticable if you fire weapons. It won't be long before the military intervene. But it's up to us until then."

"Um. Steven. Are you there? Did you hear me?"

Shawn's car pulls infront of the hospital. He gets out and moves back to the trunk. He opens it to revial a black box. He opens the box and starts to assemple is G-36.

OOC: I see. :shock: There will be very soon. Does anyone want control of them? I don't really care.

The people in the security room notice Shawn's car and radio Steven. Steven picks up the phone to Bill.

"Someone has parked a car much too close to the building. Tell him to remove himself or we will do it for him."

A news van pulls up outside the hospital, quickly setting up for a live broadcast. A small, nosey looking woman adjusts her hair as the camera sets up.
"5......4........3.......2......1.....Now!"

"Good evening this is Sandra Bollocks reporting for channel 6 news. I'm standing outside Lithium hospital where a terrifying situation has arisen. The hospital has been taken over by terroists claiming to be Silver Scorpians. Little is known at the moment of what has happened in the hospital or what the local authorities are doing. I shall remain here and seek out the answers to these questions."

"We're out. Good job Sandra. Make yourself comfortable, it looks like we'll be waiting around for a while."

Odin hands some gear over to Nikki.

"Just ask if you're not sure how to work some of that stuff."

He returns to the elevator and makes his way to the chief'f office.

*Nikki dons the gear while walking, trying to catch up to Odin.*

Nikki: "But we're just beat cops. Isn't this something ESWAT should take care of?"

"I've had extensive anti terroism training and so have many cops. We have our own anti terroism division. Similar to swat. If you want to you can simply perform normal police duties outside the hospital but most likely, I'll be going in there."

Odin bursts into the office.

"Chief what's the situation?"

"I want you and the other ATSF members down there. Don't enter immediately. Find out what you can first. They're demanding the captured Silver Scorpians to be released. We don't want a hospital full of dead patients either."

"Understood. I doubt we'll get far before the BCS ATU's get here anyway."

*Nikki trails behind Odin, listening silently. After the chief speaks, Nikki speaks up.*

Nikki: "Chief, what of me? Am I to support Officer Odin?"

Chief: "I know you don't have anti terroism training but you were highly recommened as a good cop. If you wish to, you can be part of the ATSF team. Your other option is to secure the perimeter of the hospital from the general public. It's up to you."

Odin: "I think you could manage either way Nikki. But we must stop these guys. Their fanatics and are willing to kill everyone in that hospital."

Amethyst City Military Base

"Sir. Reports say a group of Silver Scorpians have taken over the Lithium hospital and are requesting the release of all remaining captured Silver Scorpians. The police are already working on it."

"I see. Mobolise all BCS ATU forces and send them to the hospital. I want that area completely sealed off and us connected to the hosipal systems. Get all media out of there and find out anything else we need to know."

"Yes sir."

The negotiater coughed to hide his surprise at the word martyred.

"There are thirty of them left."

"I want them here by van. We will release half the hostages when they are delivered to us safely. You have.......35 minutes to deliver them here. Or Else."

Shawn gets on the raido and says "I'm infront of the hosptial. What do you want me to do? I can go in."

The terrorists manning the camera room spot Shawn. One of them opens a windows and fires several warning shots at him.

Steven: "Tell your man to remove himself or we will do it for him. He is too close."

Shawn jumps in his car to avoid the shots even though there warning shots, just to make sure. "Aww damn." He picks up the raido and says "Should I go in?"

Odin taps his headset.

"Shawn don't go in yet. Waith for the others to arrive. Just make sure no civilians are in the area."

Several helicopters took to the sky, filled with BCS ATU's. Other military vehicles raced through the streets, heading towards the hospital.

"Ok Odin. I'm trusting your judgement on this on." Shawn sits up in the car and drives into the parking lot of the hospital.

"Good. Don't get yourself shot Shawn. Be on the look out for the military as well."

"I will. Are they sending the Amry or the Mariens (Of Assington that is) here or what?" Shawn asks.

"Most likely they'll send the BCS ATU's. This is their kind of situation."

OOC: BCS = Biomechanical Soldiers.

*Basically just soldiers augmented with machines to make them overall better than the average soldier.*

ATU = Anti Terroism Unit

"Ok Odin."

"Ill see you soon Shawn. I've got your ATSF gear."

Odin left the chiefs office and headed back to the lift.

The military vehicles pulled up at the end of every street heading towards the hospital. Road blocks were setup and men began deploying into nearby buildings.

A technician jumped into the underground maintenance tunnels and turned on his comm.

"Sir. I'll have us hooked up to the hospital systems soon."

"Good. I want to know exactly what is going on in there."

The helicopters landed on behind nearby buildings so the terroists wouldn't notice them and several more men proceeded to their positions.

"I all ready have my stuff Odin. Dont worrie about it."

"Oh well. We've got some spare gear then. Do you think Nikki would be able to join us? She doesn't have any AT training but she is a good cop."

"Half the hostages? That isn't acceptable. Either you give us all the hostages for all the prisoners or it's no deal."


"You WILL comply." Steven said. "30 minutes to go, and then we begin killing hostages."

"She can if she wants. Let her make the choce though."

OOC: I got to go. See ya all later.

"You kill hostages and we kill prisoners. There has to be a little compromise here."

"Well, seeing as you have already killed a large portion of them, should I begin?"

Steven's henchman bring a young girl to the phone.
"So what's your name, litte girl?"
"My...I'm...Heidi."
"Heidi, how old are you?"
"I....I...twelve years old"
Steven points the gun at her.
"Do you know what this is?"
Heidi starts crying.
"The...theat's a gun. Please don't hurt me!"

The gun discharges, and Heidi falls to the ground in a pool of blood, while the rest of the hostages all scream and panic.

"Don't play with me Bill. Like I said, I'm being serious."

"If you touch one more civilian you shall not see any of your men. Unless you believe in hell. Where you shall join them."

OOC: Assington does not like terroists....... i have a feeling that hospital is going to get demolished.... :roll:

"You must be crazy to think that we would give up all our hostages before we leave the country. We will begin killing hostages in.........30 minutes."

Steven motions to his henchman, and they begin strapping explosives the each hostage and themselves.

"We are willing to die for our cause. There are many who will follow in our footsteps."

"But how can we be sure that you won't kill the hostages anyway? If we knew you wouldn't do that your men would be released and we'd drive you out of the nation ourselves. What if we were to arrange a meeting place and an exchange of prisoners?"

Bill hangs up the phone informs his superiors of the deal.

Odin recieves news of the deal over the comm.

"Nikki. It seems we've made a deal with the terroists. An exchange of prisoners. This is rare for Assington to negotiate with terroists but these guys have a lot of hostages and are very willing to die for their cause."

He taps his comm.

"Attention everyone. A deal has been made with the terroists. We may still be needed though."

Within ten minutes the buses arrive outside the hospital. They are being watched by all the BCS ATU's but they do not have permission to fire.

A maximum military security bus leaves Assington's highest security jail with 30 Silver Scorpians on board. The bus is escorted by several ATU's and is watched by at least 3 armed Apache choppers. The bus is heading for the airport.

*Nikki was quiet, kinda in a daze. Odin had asked if she would be joining them.*

Nikki: "Um, yeah... I'll be right next to you, okay..."

*She fidgeted with her ATSF gear, murmuring a prayer to Goddess Cori to keep her safe.*

OOC: I have things worked out ok. Carry on.

IC: Odin turned and looked at Nikki.

"I don't think this will go far. From what I've heard the military are already there so it is likely that we won't have to engage them."

The phone in the hospital rang again.

"Hello. Steve are you there?"

"Yes...."

"The buses should be arriving at the hospital within minutes. Your men are on their way to the airport now and we are arranging for a plane for you to leave on. Are we agreed that there will be a full prisoner exchange?"

"Yes. We agree."

"Good."

Bill hung up.

"He has agreed everyone."

The buses pull up into the hospital car park, awaiting the arrival of its occupants.

Odin gets into his cruiser with Nikki. They speed out of the car park and out onto the street, towards the hospital.

The terrorists move onto the buses, and half the hostages are released.

The released hostages are quickly taken to safety whilst the media attempt to obtain footage of the terroists. 3/4 of the BCS ATU's had departed for the airport. All road blocks were cleared for the buses to make their way out of the area and over to the airport.

New orders came over the radio in Odin's cruiser.

"Looks like we're heading to the airport. The military have control of this so we'll mainly worry about keeping the crowd back."

He changes directions, quickly turning right, towards the airport.

Inside the buses, the terrorists are in a jubilant mood.

The buses depart and begin the journey over to the hospital. By a different route, several BCS ATU's head to the airport as well.

At the airport a large jumbo jet plane is pulled up at a deserted terminal, awaiting the terroist arrival.

The terrorists arrive and alight the buses. The remaining hostages are escorted with them.

*Nikki is visibly trembling. Weither it is from fear or excitement is unknown.*

..they move until they are just outside the jumbo jet and wait for someone to give them the keys.

The other prisoners arrive, escorted by a large number of BCS ATU's armed to the teeth. A ranking officer steps forward.

"Now is the time for our exchange."

The cruiser pulls up outside the airport. Odin makes his way toward the doors, following the directions given to him through his comm. He continues to make sure there are no civilians in the area.

"Agreed. Let us enter the aircraft and then we will release the hostages."

"The door is unlocked. We do not give you the keys until the hostages are released."

The man points to the terminal.

"The plane is docked there."

The remaining hostages are released.

Once all the hostages are released, the prisoners are released and the keys given to the terroist.

"May you never return to our nation."

The terrorists are jubilant, and immediately begin powering the aircraft for take-off.

The Assington forces back off and watch as the terroist plane heads toward the runway.

BuMp!

*Nikki follos Odin.*

Nikki: "Are we just going to give in to their demads just like that?"

The plane takes off.....

*Nikki's ears perk up as she hears the sound of the airplane engine roaring as the plane takes off.*

Nikki: "It's not too late, I can still try to use my special abilities to force the plane down, maybe throw a gas tank at it or something and blow it up... If we let those terrorists escape, it'll only encourage more terrorists to come."

*She recalls her days at the Krowemoh police academy, where one of her instructors had said that terrorists should never be allowed to have their way.*

On the plane, Steven cracks out a bottle of champagne.
"Stupid fools. What a shame, we're going to die in honor soon."

Odin looked at the ranking man in military attire.

"Nikki. Just wait."

The man had a sly look across his face as he pulled out small device, flicking the lid off a switch. They all watched as the plane rose higher and higher until it was bearly visible.

He hit the switch.........

The plane burst open in a mass of fire, shrapnel and bodies. The BCS ATU's and the others watched as the plane was completely destroyed, the passengers along with it. Most of the debris landed on over a large lake and some open fields.

There were no survivors.

Odin looked back at Nikki.

"Let's go. This situation is over. Let's get back to the station. We'll have some long reports to write.

"Well.......that was.....lively."

IC: Odin and Nikki make their way back to the police cruiser.

"I had a feeling something like that would happen."

*Nikki nods.*

Nikki: "Just goes to show ya, terrorism will only get you killed."

*She climbs into the passenger seat.*

Nikki: "Oh man, I gotta fill out paper work too? But... But we did so little!"

"It shouldn't be too bad. Just our account of what we have experienced today. It's almost time to go home anyway. Usually the day isn't so busy."

Odin drove the car away from the airport and back to the police station.

Shawn pulls up infront of his house after the hectic day. He throws all of his stuff on the chair and sits down on the couch.

*Nikki sighs as they pull into the police station.*

Nikki: "Hey, after work wanna go hang out, or something?"

"Sure. I'll show you some good places to hang out."

Odin parks the car then heads toward the lift.

"So have you got an apartment or something worked out?"

Shawn picks up his phone and calls Odin's cell phone "Hey Odin. You doing any thing to night?" He asks.

Odins phone rings.

"Hey Shawn. Nikki and I just have to finisher some paper work, then I was going to show her around a little. Where are you?"

"Hy house. I'm going to do all my paper work tomarrow, so don't worrie about that."

"Fair enough. Perhaps we should leave ours till tomorrow as well. Do you want go down to The Keg tonight?" (a bar)

"Sure. See how Nikki feels about it and then I will meet you guys there."

"Ok. See you later Shawn."

The lift doors open and Odin heads over to the armoury.

"Nikki. Would you like to meet Shawn down at a bar in the city?"

Shawn hangs up the phone and he goes into the bathroom and comes back out about 10 min later in jeans and a white T-shirt.

After despositing all his gear, save for a pistol, a pair of cuffs and his badge, Odin headed back to the lift.

*Nikki shrugs.*

Nikki: "Sure, why not?"

*She follows him into the armory and grabs her leather clothes, finding a changing room and changes into her street clothes. She keeps her badge, a pair of handcuffs, and her pistol on her person.*

Nikki: "I'm all set. Um, how about you drive, and I'll follow on my 'cycle, cool?"

"Sure."

Odin also changes into some casual clothes, then they both head back to the car park. Odin jumps into his newly aquired ford and leads the way.

*Nikki climbs onto her 'cycle and revs the engine a few time. She doesn't wear a helmet...*

Odin casually leads Nikki through the streets of Amethyst City until he finally reaches the street where The Keg is located. After pulling a U-turn he parks opposite the bar and waits for Nikki to do the same.

*Nikki parks behind Odin's car, steps of her bike and waves at him.*

Nikki: "This the place."

*It was a statement, not a question.*

"It's probably my favourite bar. We'll meet Shawn out the front."

Odin and Nikki crossed the street and awaited the arrival of Shawn outside The Keg

Nikki: "Yeah! Time for song, drink and men! Whoo!"

"You'll find all that in here. Just make sure you don't cause any trouble. You're now an officer of the Assington police department."

Odin grinned.

"Try not to shoot anyone."

*Nikki giggles.*

Nikki: "Of course."

*She looks around.*

Nikki: "When were we supposed to meet Shawn?"

Odin looks at this watch.

"Around now. He should be here soon."

OOC: We'll wait for North-eastern Europe to post.

Shawn pull infornt of the bar and gets out "Sorry, I'm late. The traffic was horrabile."

IC: "Hey. Yeh it gets like that sometimes. Shall we enter?"

"Ya. Its been awhlie scince I was here." Shawn says as he walks into the bar.

*Nikki enters the bar a immdiately heads over to the bar counter.*

Nikki: "Give me a shot of the strongest drink you got on hand."

*The bartender looked at her face, and then her catears sticking up out of the top of her head.*

Bartender: "Coming right up."

Maria heads into the bar with her friend Dana.
"Wow, what a day."
She looks over at Shawn.
"Hey! Nice to see you again!"

Shawn sees the two girls "Hey. You two staying out of trouble?"

"Funny you ask, there was a bit of shooting in the hospital, but all of a sudden everyone just left."

"I know. So how are you two? You seem ok now. How are the wounds I wraped up for you?" he asks

"Still a bit sore but otherwise fine. Want a drink? You did save my life after all."

"No. Let me buy you a drink. After all I am the guy." He laughs and looks at her.

"Well, thanks."
Maria takes the beer and has a big gulp.
"So, how's your job like?"

"Well its kind of stressful but rewarding." He says :You know your helping some one so it makes me feel good. What do you do?"

"Well, me and Dana are both swimsuit models. We're work friends."

Odin walked over to the bar and orders a strong beer.

"It's been a hectic day. A good beer is always helpful to unwind."

*Odin finds Nikki leaning rather heavily on him, patting his shoulder wth one hand.*

Nikki: "Don't chu know it? *Hic!* A nice strong drink is a fine way to end a busy day. Hey keep, 'nother round for me. Chop chop."

*She starts to giggle like a schoolgirl.*

Nikki: "Tee-hee! I haven't had this much fun in one day since... Um... Well, since in a long time. Heeeeeeey.... Who drank all my alcohal?"

*She looks down at her empty shot glass. She doesn't remember she already drank all of it.*

"I believe you finished it off already. May be we should sit down?"

*She plops down on a barstool, her tail wrapping itself around one of the stool legs.*

Nikki: "Thanks for letting me have such an awesome first day, Odin!"

"No problem. You should work on a psychic shield technique though. I don't want you getting shot."

Odin sits down next to Nikki after grabbing another glass of beer.

Nikki: "I got a hotel on the edge of town I'm staying at. Once I get 3,000 Tidercs I'm gonna see if I can rent an apartment. Something cheap, so I can have some left over to buy food and stuff."

"There's a guy who calls himslef Jack, he keeps sending me love letters and pornography of himself. Sometimes I get these creepy phone calls in the middle of the night."

"I get my bodyguards to sweep the place."

"Want me to take care of him? I can arrested him or you can get a retraing order at least" Shawn says.

"Hey, that'd be nice. Could you have him jailed for life?"

Shawn laughs a bit then says "I don't know about life. Mabye a two through 8 year sentace." He takes a sip of his beer.

"If he annoys me some more I'll ring you. So, tell me a bit more about yourself. Do you have a family?"

"Nope. I've never been married or any thing like that. The closest I've been was when my old Girl Friend moved in with me. That ended our relationship pretty quickly." Shawn says as he chuckles to him self "How about your self? You got a family?"

"Oh, I'm single too."
Maria blushes.

"Well, how about a date some time?' Shawn asks. Then he blushes as well.

Maria giggles. Suddenly Dana whispers something into her ear.
"Alright! It's a date."

"All right. You know I don't think I've got your name. I'm Shawn, you?"

"Oh yeah, the proper introduction."
Maria shakes Shawn's hand.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Maria."

He smiles at her and then looks at her friend "And your friend's name?"

Odin grabs hold of Nikki.

"Maybe you should get some rest. You can crash at my place until you're sober enough to drive."

*Nikki nods, hiccuping a few times.*

Nikki: "Yeah... I think *Hiccup!* I think der's too much blood in muh alcohol sestum... Some west would do me gooood..."

Odin grabs hold of Nikki's arm and leads her toward the exit. They pass Shawn on the way.

"Shawn. I'm taking Nikki back to my place. She isn't in any condition to drive. We'll see you tomorrow."

*Nikki waves at Shawn.*

Nikki: "See you three tomorrow... Wow, I never knew you had two twins?"

*She giggles to herself, letting Odin guide her out of the bar.*

Nikki: "Let's go to a cwub and pardee!"

He smiles at her and then looks at her friend "And your friend's name?"

Dana pushes her wheelchair next to Shawn.
"I'm Dana, nice to meet you....again."

Odin laughed.

"I think you've had enough partying Nikki."

He lead her into his car. Once Nikki was buckled in he retrieved the keys to her bike and keyed the ignition. As he began to drive off in his car, Nikki's bike slowly followed suit.

*Nikki curls up on the passenger seat of Odin's car, mewing to herself.*

Nikki: "Nyan..."

Odin is busy concentrating on driving the car.... and Nikki's bike. So far he has managed to navigate it safely through the streets.

He smiles at her and then looks at her friend "And your friend's name?"

Dana pushes her wheelchair next to Shawn.
"I'm Dana, nice to meet you....again.""Its nice to meet you as well." Shawn says. Then he turns back to Maria and asks "So when do you wnat that date?"

"Well, I'm working on Weekdays. How about this Saturday?"

"Saterday sounds good Maria. What time should I pick you up?"

"I wake up at 9am, and then I'm.........free I supposed?"

Odin finally reaches his place, even without crashing Nikki's bike. He removed the keys from both vehicles and moved around to Nikki's door.

"Come on Nikki. Time to get up. You can sleep soon."

*Nikki mutters something under her breath, and slowly uncurls herself.*

Nikki: "Home already? Vait for me..."

*She slides out of Odin's car, and promtply loses her balance, tripping over her own two feet.*

Odin had expected this and quickly caught her before she hit the ground.

"We're at my place Nikki."

Odin carried her into the elevator.

"Next time you shouldn't have so many strong drinks."

*Nikki's head lolled to one side as she let Odin support most her weight.*

Nikki: "But da stwong dwinks *Hiccup!* are the only ones that taste good..."

Thor smiled.

"Then perhaps you should control the amount you drink."

He picked her up again as the elevator reached the 8th floor. After a minute of strolling through corridors they arrived at his apartment.

"Next time you go drinking, don't bring a gun with you."

*Nikki pats Odin's chest with one hand.*

Nikki: "But I'm not a violan... Biolun... Um... What's dat word?"

"You need some rest Nikki."

Odin opens the door and take her straight to the couch, closing the door with his mind.

"Do you want to have a shower now or in the morning?"

*Nikki slouches onto the couch, rolling onto her back with hands resting on her chest. She mews at Odin.*

Nikki: "In the Morning... Nyan!"

*She giggles, suddenly awake. She bats a playful hand at Odin.*

Nikki: "Got any catnip?"

*Nikki rolls from her back into a sitting position, grabbing hold of Odin's arm and nuzzling it with her cheek, purring low in her throat.*

Nikki: "No mo' dwinks... Mmmmm... Comfy..."

"Fair enough."

Odin pulled out his gun, cuffs and badge and put them on the table. He then proceeded to put his feet up on the table.

"It's been a busy day."

*Nikki curls up to Odin, purring and every so often nipping his arm, her sharp teeth causing slight pain when she bite, but nothing too dramatic or serious. At least she wasn't drawing blood. ^_^*

Nikki: "I'm gwad we're pardners..."

Odin noticed a sligh prick in his arm. He decided to let it pass as it wasn't bothering him particularly.

"I'm glad too Nikki."

"I wake up at 9am, and then I'm.........free I supposed?""Ok. I'll pick you up at 10am, hows that?"

"Alright! Thanks!"

"Its late," Shawn says "You girls want a ride home?"

"Well, alright."
Maria gets off her seat and starts pushing Dana's wheelchair.
"Let's go."

"I'll go get my car." Shawn says. Fine minuets later he pulls up infront of them in a car. "You help your friend in and I'll put the wheelchair in the trunk, ok?"

Maria lifted Dana into the back seat and the wheelchair began to fold up.

OOC: Can something happen on the way home?

Shawn puts the wheelchair in the turnk and gets back in the car. "You ladies ready to go?" He asks.

OOC: If you want it to. I don't know what to do that mey self.

"Yeap, let's go"

The man prepares to hand him a white paper bag.

"So tell me where you guys live and I'll take you home." Shawn says, as he starts to drive.

"North Ashton. That's by that road near the mall."

"Ok." Shawn says as he makes a turn toward the area where they live "So you two live together, or what?" He says.

"Yeah, flatmates. Just on your left and over the hill."

On the pavement
"Shoot, police car!"
The drug dealer drops his bag and scatters the pils everywhere.

OOC: Its a unmarked police car, but lets just say he could tell any way. :wink:

IC: "Ok." He turn in that direction, but sees the man running from the pavment. "What was that?" He parks the car and gets out. "I'll be back in a few minutes." He says. He pulls out his pistol while he walks over the the place where the man droped the pills.

"Shawn! Behind you!"
A large man takes Shawn into a stranglehold.

Shawn hits him in the stomic with his pistol, then trys to break the hold, to no avil. He points the pistol at the man's hands and fires.

"Ahh! You *****"
The man begins to run in the opposite direction.

Shwan shoots at the man's legs as he runs.

He falls to the ground clutching his legs.
"You <expletive> <expletive>!"

Shawn takes out some handcuffs and places them on his wirst. "Your under arrest." He takes him back to the car and lays him down on the pavment. He gets back in the car "Girls, I'm going to need to call some one and then I'll take you home, ok?"

"Wow! That was great! Don't worry, we can wait."

"Ok." Shawn gets on the raido and calls some one. 5 minuites later another police car shows up and they take the man away. "Sorry about that." He says. He drives them back to there apertment and opens the door for them.

"Thanks you, no one's ever been so nice to me."

"No problem." Shawn says "It was fun. I'll call you tomarrow. Umm......I don't think I have you number."

"Oh yeah, here it is."
Maria hands Shawn a slip of paper and begins pushing Dana back into the house.
"Thanks agian, see you tommorrow."

"Thanks." He says as he puts the paper in his pocket "No problem. Bye." He walks down to his car and opens the door.......

"Goodbye Shawn." Maria says in a seductive manner.

Odin wakes up to find Nikki in his arms. He looks up at the clock. Still an hour or so till work. He began gently sliding away from Nikki, careful not to wake her. He headed towards the kitchen and chucked a few slices of bacon and some eggs onto the frying pan.

Maria can barely sleep that night. She is too excited about the next day. After she wakes up, she prepares herself a microwave pie and begins to apply her makeup and prepares to wear...jeans and T-shirt.

Shawn wakes up around 6:00 A.M. "I guess its time to get up." He gets out of bed takes a shower and gets on a pari of jeans and a white T-shirt.

Maria eats the pie and waits.

Odin is happily finishing off the cooking. A large pile of bacon is sitting on one plate whilst a pile of eggs are on the other. He takes these to the table whilst he fetches the cutlery with his mind.

*As Odin sets the plates, he spies Nikki stirring on the couch. She rolls, and promtply falls off onto the floor. The impact jars her awake.*

Nikki: "Ow! My head! Oooo...."

*She groans, rubbing her head.*

Nikki: "Where am I? How did I get here?"

*She looks around, trying to remember how she got here. Last night was all one blur.*

Odin grinned.

"Good to see you're still alive. You're at my apartment as you were too wasted to drive. Would you like some breakfast?"

The plates were set up and Odin was pouring some orange juice for himself.

"What do you want to drink?"

*Nikki groans, putting her hand to her forehead.*

Nikki: "Your place, huh? Got anything for hangovers? My head hurts too much to eat..."

Odin floated a packet of asprin and a glass of water over towards Nikki, landing on the table in front of her.

"I thought you would be needing this."

Odin sat down and began putting bacon, eggs and a few pieces of toast onto his plate.

*Nikki looks at the glass of water and packet of Asperin.*

Nikki: "That stuff don't work. Got any Excedrin?"

*Nikki's upper lip curls upward into a snarl, but she rips open the Asprin and pops them in her mouth, chewing them like hard candy.*

Nikki: "Works better with Excedrin..."

*She said, making a face as she chewed the Asprin, grinding the pills into powder between her teeth.*

Shwn gets in his car and starts to drive toword Maria's place.

Maria looks at the watch regularly. She decides to check her hair one more time.

Shawn pull up to the apartment, get out and walks to the door. He knocks on it, then looks at his watch, it reads 10:00, he looks back up at the door.

"Well... I don't have anything else so that will have to do."

Odin looks at the time again as he consumes the large amounts of food he cooked.

"Are you sure you're not hungary? You might want to have a shower as well."

"Hey Shawn!"
Maria opens the door while carrying a large handbag. "Let's go!"

"Hey Maira. Whats in the bag?"

"Make-up, um...personal items, women stuff, you don't wanna know."

"Ok. So where do you want to go?" Shawn says as he opens the car door for her.

"Well, I don't really know any places around here. How about we go to that Geothermal resort?"

"Ok. Whats that?" Shawn says.

Maria pulls the brochure out of her handbag and reads it.
"Hot pools, with natural minerals to help you relax."

"Sure. I have a swimsuit in my trunk." He gets into the car and starts it.

Maria giggles.
"I hope it fits me. Let's hire a private spa room"

"Ok. Lets get going then." Shawn says smiling at her.

Maria buckles her seatbelt.

Shawn starts to drive to the resort, occasionaly looking over at Maria smiling.

"So, you like any music?"

"Some, I like any thing but pop." He says as the buliding comes into view.

"Hey, we're there!"

"Ya." Shawn gets out of the car and opens the door for Maria. "Have you been here before?" He asks.

"I got handed a brochure when I first got here." Maria replies. "I come here from Ell about a year ago."

"Neat." Shawn says as they walk inside.

"Well, let's get a private health spa for an...hour?"

"Sure. We've got the time." He says "I don't know how they do things here so can you get the room and I'll pay for it."

"Hey, thanks! Usually I have to ask and beg, and then still end up paying for it myself."

Maria heads for the changing rooms and comes back in a swimsuit.
"We've got the 'African' room"

"Ok." Shawn hands her the money for the spa and then goes and changes into a swimsuite, then comes back down. "Now where do we go?"

"I think it's this room here."
She opens the door, revealing a beautiful room with a spa and wonderful blue lights.
"Wow!"

"You said it." Shawn says as he sits in the spa waitiing for Maria.

Maria gets in slowly.
"Aaaahhh This feels nice."

"Ya. It does." He says shyly, not knowing what to say.

Maria sits there. Why won't he say anything?

"Umm.....So your from Ell?"

"Yeah, I lived there as a kid. What about you?"

"I was born in North-eastern Europe, moved her becuse I was in the Army, then when I retired I stayed here. WHy did you come here?"

"Modelling isn't very lucrative in Ell. People get overexposed to it."

Maria gets out of the water and takes a bottle of champagne out of her handbag.

"Mayhe this should get us started."

"Good idea." He says smiling at her.

She pours two glasses and winks at Shawn.
"Cheers"
