"Alright, thats fine. Doesn't bother me, heh. So..."

"We'll just hang out here until one of the Generals shows up to tell us what they found in the investigation." Dani plopped down on the couch.

He sat down next to her, "Well I am sure they already know."

"I bet they do."

"Yep, most likely, especially if they are as smart as you."

"I'm not smart. Trust me."

Dani looked over to the computer, trying to avert her attention.

"Yes, of course, whatever you say."

OOC: Quite dissing yourself, Dani!! Good job, Will, for making thiings up between you two.

Dani heard the door upstairs.

"Someone is here. I'm going to leave you soon for a little while."

"Alright, that is fine, do what you must."

A man who looked about twenty walked into the room. Dani saw him, and smiled.

"Why, they always send the young ones!" She hugged him, then led him over o Will.

"This is Will. Will, this is Rex Lannoli, one of the Generals."

"Nice to meet you, Will." He said, holding out his hand to shake Wills.

He bowed his head and shook his hand. "Pleasure to meet you."

Rex looked at Dani.

"I like this one." He said, play shoveing her. "But now it's time to get down to buisness. Shall we?"

He led her down the stairs to the lowest level. Dani sat in the chair.

"So, what's up?"

"Well, to be honest, the man you killed had explosives on him. A lot of explosives."

He sat down and waited for her to come back.

"What does that mean?" Dani asked.

"That means it's not safe. You are going to be transported back to the palace tomorrow. We have no idea where this guy came from. He's probably a terrorist."

Dani nodded, in a state of shock.

"Well, I'm going to leave you here with Will. I'm sure you'll be fine."

He led her back to the floor.

"Goodbye." Rex called, and left. Dani sat, and looked around nervously.

"I take it that was some sort of badnews."

Dani turned to Will.

"He had explosives on him."

"Really, that is bad news then. I'm sorry"

Dani shrugged.

"I have to go back to the palace. I think it would be best if you left for your home. It's not safe with me."

He sighed, "If you insist, I am your guest, I shall leave when you see it fit."

"I just don't want you hurt."

OOC: I posted in the NS forum. After the war, she is shot in the shoulder.

"I understand, its perfectly alright. I know your going through a lot."

OOC: Alright...heh, I'll figure that one out.

Dani stood.

"I'll show you to your room."

He stood up, "Alright." he grabbed his bag.

Dani led him to a small room.

"Sorry it's not as big as the palace or the beach house."

"Its quite alright, it does not bother me at all." he put his bag down on the bed.

"I'm just across the hall there." Dani pointed to her room. "I probably won't sleep tonight, so if you get lonely, come on in."

He laughed then smiled, "Alright, I'll keep that in mind."

Dani's eyes began to glisten.

"I hate this job."

OOC: I got to go.

"It will be alright, do not worry. I'm sure your intel department will figure this out fast."

OOC: Bye.

"Now I see why my father used me."

"Used you for what?"

"To do all the political appearences. It was too dangerous for him."

*counts the pages in disbelief*

"I see, well then I think you should get someone to do that for you."

"An apprentice . . . I like the idea . . ."

He smiled and laughed "Of a sort."

Dani walked quickly into her room and got on the phone. She came back about five minutes later.

"I'm going to train a little girl!"

"Thats very nice of you. I am sure she'll be a great apprentice."

Dani smiled.

"I'm going to meet her in two weeks. She's comming in from the country. Too bad the war will be happening, and I'd have sent you home by then."

"I'm sorry I will not be able to meet her then."

Dani nodded. She felt horrible.

"I need a bubble bath. I'll catch up with you soon. Oh, the TV in there has channels from all over the world. Can you entertin yourself?"

"Of course I can,"

Dani nodded and went into her room and shut the door. After a long bath, she dressed in pjs and sat at the desk, doing paper work. She fell asleep, laying her head on her arms.

He continued to surf through all of the channels, unable to decide what to watch. He did this for an hour or so until he decided to watch the international news.

Dani woke an hour later. When the confusion that sleep brings had worn off, she got up and laid on the bed, thinking about lots of stuff.

OOC: Don't be worried about Will not meeting your little girl apprentice, because I have a feeling that Dani will not be able to keep him away for long, and so he will get to meet her in the long run.

OCC: heh

IC: Unable to stay up much longer he fell into a deep sleep after watching the segment on what was happening in his nation.

Dani got up and wandered around. She found Seth, an older man who worked there.

"Hey kiddo."

"What's up Seth?"

"nothing much. Are you enjoying your stay?"

"Hardly."

"Well, at least you have company this time."

He woke up and got some water and sat back down, then continued to watch the news.

Dani smiled.

"Yeah. That part I like. But he's in his room now."

"Well then missy, if I was you, I'd get back to that pesky paperwork. You can work out here, if you want."

"Thanks."

Dani got the stuff, and began to work on the couch.

Getting bored of the news, he got up and explored the floor he was on.

AS Dani flipped the light back on a mysterious, cloaked man is seen rifeling through her papers. He throws a capsule on the ground. A blinding flash insues. As her vision clears the man is gone.
OCC: Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. :twisted:

OOC: You can't. This is a safe house, many stories underground with no way in.

OCC: heh...im so confused...

Dani saw Will.

"Hey you, nice to see you up!"

He smiled, "Yea, I figured you would be lonely."

Dani nodded.

"I am. We can't leave for another cuple of hours. What do you feel like doing?"

"I do not care, whatever you feel like, I'm the guest heh."

Dani streached.

"Well, I could do paperwork while you watch a movie, or we could watch it together, or . . . you could do the work for me!"

He laughed, "Well the second one I like the most, but if you want me to do the work for you..."

"The second works fine for me." Goes to couch and moves papers.

He followed her and sat down next to her, "So what do you wish to watch,"

Dani grinned.

"Quite frankly, I don't care. You choose."

"Hmm, what to watch." he thought for a moment, "Perhaps Pirates of the Caribbean, I can decide what to wear when we become those pirates, heh."

Dani burst out with giggles.

"Great idea! Seth, do we . . ."

"I'm putting it on now, miss. Then I'm going upstairs." He said.

The movie began, and Dani snuggled close to Will.

"Thats quick service, heh" he put his arm around her.

Dani sighed happily.

"Yes. Seth is great fun. He really treats me well."

"I can tell, he seems great."

Dani watched the pirates with interest.

He watched the movie trying to decide whether a red surcoat or a black one was more suiting.

Dani saw the women on the pirate island.

"I wanna dress like them!"

He smiled, "Well, I'll get one that looks like Orlando Blumm's costume."

"Wow . . .The whore and the hero . . . Nice combo." Dani said, sacrasticly.

"What, I could have worn one of those English Commodore uniforms if you perfer."

Surpresses laughter.

"No, that's okay, I'll just dress like Elizabeth."

"That always works, heh"

"Holloween is comming up . . ."

"So it is, I think that is what we should go as, heh."

"Oh, how fun!"

"Yea, it would be a lot of fun,heh"

Elsewhere:
The storm raged over head. The lightning and thunder sounded like the blast of an hundred cannons waging battle. A mysterious man in a dark cloak is standing by a grave, there is an erie, green glow about him.
"Arise great spirit. Arise oh mighty Emporer! ARISE!" he bellows into the wind.
<Lightning hits the grave site>The resulting explosion throws the mysterious man back a against a grave stone. Dusting himself off he gets up and standing infront of him is a ghastly figure.
Ghoul: Who has awakened me?
Man: <bowing> I have great Lord.
Ghoul: Why have you done this?
Man: To lead the empire back to greatness, oh Lord?
A guard appears to inspect the graveyard. Seeing the figures, he raises his gun and shouts.
Guard: Hey, what are you doing!?!
The man turns to flee.
Guard: Halt, don't move or I'll shoot!
The ghoulish figure smiles at the guard.
Ghoul: Hmmm, dinner.
Guard: St...stay where you are.
The ghoul starts towards the guard. <BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM>. The bullets enter the chest of the Ghoul but don't affect it much.
Guard: NO,no, please NOOOOOOO!!!!
The Ghouls puts his hands on the guard and absorbs his life energy. The skin on the ghouls body returns to near perfect.<THUMP>
Ghoul: Let's go.
THe lighting flashes on the Ghoul's gravestone. It reads Ryan, Emporer of Grenfeild.
OOC: This is wierd, but i'm in a weird mood. :twisted:

Dani blinked, then relaxed, but then went rigid.

"Something's not right."

"What do you mean somethings not right?"

Dani shook her head. "Never mind. I'm probably wrong."

"Come on, you can tell me. Chances are you are right, it seems that way so far."

OOC: For one thing I have not been gone. I have just not been rping. Second i was just messing around when i said that, you turned a thread about war into a freaking soap opera!

At the very least this thread should be renamed, since I've been checking every so often for...... oh, every THIRTY PAGES or so and I dont actually see the so-called war ANYWHERE. Obviously thats over with a long time ago. All I do see is this whole one line soap opera thing and, as much as it may indeed be an assault of some kind, its very far removed from the original purpose of this threads RP.

OOC: Sorry Gren, you sounded serious. And yeah, we should take this to another level, but after Dani and Will leave the safehouse, it will be over. Will will go home, and Dani is going to the war with Ruhr (alreeady took place while this was going on).

Dani closed her eyes.

"I feel so tired, but I can't sleep anymore."

"I see, you should probably just relax then. You're most likely stressed about all of this."

Dani grinned. "Yeah . . . just a little." She teased.

He laughed at this and then with a grin he said "I would think after all of this you need a long vacation."

Dani shook her head.

"This was my vacation!"

He laughed, "Well, you have quite the hectic vacation haven't you?"

"After this one . . . I'm never going again."

"Oh, how can you be so sure?"

"I see the future."

"Well then, thats understandable."

Dani giggled.

"I was jokeing!"

He laughed, "I figured as much..."

Suddenly a guy jumps in from nowhere and does a tap dance then looks around the room.

"Dang it wrong place again." bows "Sorry i went to the wrong place sorry." he disappears in a poof of smoke.
