I was gonna try flipping the swords and such, and I did try, but I was less than successful. In fact the results are embarassing.

how are these... they are based on your existing flag, I tried to get the colours as you requested, but didn't know which Tuxx you preferred. Also I have included both sizes 107 x 71 and 300 x 200... you choose. That is if you like any of them.

Christantopia. Ok, actually I chose black because it reminded me of something european. The color is a minor detail, easily changed.
The letters run alongside the hoist and the flag itself has the white cross with trefoil symbols. This detail comes from a french colonial flag from Quebec. I think it serves to show the character of your nation.

Eh? IT should work if you use it as is...just save to your hard drive and load from file...(doesn't have to be 107x71, this is twice that size, and the file size should be under the limit...)

hopefully these work, I am having to hold them in a geociteissite rather than my regular pic host. it is down for the night for some reason.

oh yeah got them working, used an old trick for using yahoos version of geocities as a pichost.
note after downloading these you will have to rename them to the file type stated otherwise they will NOT work.

Bristol Republic, I honestly havnt the slightest idea what you mean by your flag request.

Hmmm. Explaining this one may be difficult.
I'm after a flag at 107x71 pixels. The background should be dark blue. The actual insignia on it should be a crossed sword and hammer in yellow (the same shade as the Soviet sickle and hammer). Both should be simple, single-coloured things. Much in the style of the Soviet sickle and hammer. But the sword should point upwards, in the position usually taken by the Soviet hammer, and the hammer should cross it, replacing the Soviet sickle. Instead of up in the corner like the Soviet flag, the hammer-and-sword should be in the center of the flag, and reasonably large.

I decided what I'd like on a flag - a green & white striped flag with a pic of Totoro in the middle (like, um, the Canadian flag I guess, but green, and totoro instead of the leaf;)

i didn't have anything particular in mind in terms of real world flags - by all means use this one as a basis if it's similar but please make it a bit different from the actual flag. Thanks very much.

Hey, I was wondering if this would work:

Background of the flag would be white,
In the center would be the Dominion icon from Star Trek: DS9,
Going diagonally across the icon would be a sword, with the handle end in the top left corner,
And the words "The Dominion" across the bottom in black.

Hope this isn't difficult for you.

You can make an account and post stuff on invisionfree.com, thats what I use.

Id like to know which one it was , and who complained,
I mean if it was one of my not allies here, all they did is deny people their flags, nichevo, I have aphotoisland account but it is unreliable and all. Im gonna try my ISP, I think I get liek 50 MB of storage there, hopefully so.

I used to work in place where all complaints to made to manager were done same way. No detail could not be revealed to the person investigated. Good luck with ISP. I hate backstabbers ... or no good PC police.

hey after you upload the flags to geocities, change them to .txt files, and it will allow you to hot link them, geocities only blocks the linkin of image files and if it thinks it is a txt file it wil allow you to hot link it,
just add a note telling the people what it needs to be changed to gif or jpg.

I cannot find where you posted them. Just some diabetic person's homepage.

best bet is to post them there with the file change to .txt. then post them here usning the [img] tag

Bump for archiving.

I jsut spent th e last two hours re uploading all of these flags to my new image host, a lot of typing and stuff but well worth it, jsut looking at all of these flags makes me feel good, a good many are long dead nations,but many still live, this topic now gets hopefully moved to the archives.
