Delvira, a medium sized nation located in South America has always had a trouble history. Going back as far as it's independence from Argentina in 1856, the country started out as the Republic State of Delvira, everything seemed fine until political and economic corruption followed in 1910. People were upset, and in 1932, the Socialist Action Party of Delvira staged a coup d'état with the aide of the military who supported the party. Within four days, the Republic State of Delvira was completely abolished, a provisional government under military junta controlled the Delvirian government for a while until 1933 - the Federation of Delvira was born. The politics and civil rights during the Federation were very poor, anyone who spoke falsely of the government were either sent to reeducation camps or executed. Out of all the leaders who took command of the Federation, Juan Caranza was by far the worst. He took power in 1995, and he really was the worst. He offered very little to improve both social and economic structures - he hated Capitalism so much that he denied private businesses of any kind. All businesses were controlled by the government. In 2001, civil war broke out between the Liberation Front of Delvira and the Federal Deliviran Defense Forces. Countless died by the day due to fighting which started out in the jungles but soon started taking place in the streets. Both sides weren't winning so in September of 2001, both the Federation of Delvira and the Liberation Front of Delvira signed the Delvirian Armistice, ending the civil war. On December 4th of 2001, the Republic of West Delvira was established, a small nation located west of Delvira. The government of both West Delvira and the Federation were different - very different. West Delvira was devoted to capitalism and democracy while the Federation was a mix between a military dictatorship and socialism. Many countries around the world recognized West Delvira as a sovereign nation while the Federation of Delvira and it's allies didn't. Juan Caranza was angered by this, he clearly recognized this action as treason against the Federation. Present day, because of hostile disagreements between West Delvira and the Federation, the 2nd Delvirian Civil War broke up. Juan Caranza was determined to extinguish the Republic of West Delvira once and for all, to him treason's unpatriotic and as punishment we vowed to destroy the government in that region. The following days, battle insured in the city of West Delvira, St. Roberto City. The West Delvirian Army was no match for the overwhelming Federal Delvirian Defense Force. The West Delvirian government issued out an emergency broadcast, begging for help against the invasion.

The Federal Delverian Defense Troops stormed the city of St. Roberto City, shooting anybody who tried to fight back. Most of the West Delvirian soldiers were struck with fright that they either gave up fighting or died in the process of defending the city. The remaining forces of the West Delvirian Army stationed to defend the city fled quickly, a decisive victory for the Federation. "Line up the prisoners!", yelled one Federal Delvirian Defense Force lieutenant. With that shrewd but simple command, the soldiers of the Federation did what they were told - they lined up the remaining West Delvirian soldiers against a brick wall, across from it was a former embassy of some foreign country. "You have betrayed not only the people, but the patriotism of out country! Such actions are unforgivable and with that, I hereby sentence you all to death by firing squad! Farewell!", said the lieutenant as he turned his back on the West Delvirian soldiers. A few of the West Delvirian soldiers cried, fearing that of death. "Please! Have mercy!", yelled out one soldier of West Delvira. The lieutenant closed his eyes and with that he yelled out the command to execute them, "FIRE!" he said. With that, the AK 74 rifles of the Federal Delvirian Defense Force soldiers ushered out a loud of cracking sound as bullets fell to the ground. The West Delvirian soldiers fell to the ground, covered in their own blood, without any sign of life. "Unpatriotic bastards, if you had not serve that false government of 'West' Delvira then you would have lived!", cried out the lieutenant as he walked fastly to his military jeep. Hours passed like minutes, the citizens of the invaded city were either sent to reeducation camps or imprisoned. The city itself was now a temporary military base, sandbags and barbed wires were seen in some locations of the city. The victory soon hit the news as some of the people of the Federation cheered for the troops who risked their lives in battle.


"Following the victory in St. Roberto City, the Unit 345 of the Defense Force neutralized the West Delvirian threat that occupied the former Federal city. Captured insurgents were immediately sent to reeducation camps, not a single insurgent was killed after the capture. Perhaps after the reeducation process, they will finally realize their mistakes. Praise the federation!"


The following report aired on some national news stations across the world, some nations who shared the same ideas as the Federation were pleased by this... others, were disgusted.

The besieged West Delvirian city of St. Roberto lied under the Federal Delvirian Force's control, the government of the Federation established a temporary puppet state to keep control of the area from falling back under West Delvirian control. It was approximately about 7:30 PM in occupied West Delvira, generals from several units were planning on yet another invasion of possibly more West Delvirian land - their goal, to relinquish the capital. By doing just that, they hoped that would dissolve the economy.


"The army of the West aren't much of a challenge," said one General of the 6th Unit. "I've heard that most have been retreating and this my friends is a good sign."


Another General, from the 17th Unit, was quick to respond "So it's settled then! We continue the invasion, I've already ordered my unit along with some assistance from the National Security Forces to continue moving the designated location".



The war seemed to favor that of the Federation, perhaps this war will end sooner then expected. With no other nations assisting help, things would go according to plan.

"This civil war in Delvira cannot continue", one of the member of the Dauraman Council said as observed the wide screen television across the round table of government officials.


"Yes, how ever we've been allies with Delvira for almost twenty years now... is it wise to attack our comrade?" asked a young Captain of the Air Force.


The councilman who spoke early shrugged, "I'm not sure but he if he's acting like a tyrant against a nation that did not want war, then we have every right to do so."



The Council and the government officials debated for severals hours about what to do about the situation in South America, aiding in a civil war could boost up jobs for the economy in Daurama but the question was, were they absolutely certain to aid with the government of West Delvira?

I have been instructed to inquire as to what military forces, equipment or supplies your nation requires in order to secure its sovereignty in this matter.

"THOSE BASTARDS!", yelled an enraged Juan Caranza who quickly pulled the pistol from his holster angrily firing off atleast 7 shots at the wall. The angry General placed his gun back inside the holster hanging from his hip, "Arrogant bastards! How dare that damn country test the might of my military! I'll use missiles to kill them all if I have to!"


The general was pretty enraged, the cause of course were several countries aiding West Delvira, but most of it coming from the reply of the Republic of United Gordonopia. General Caranza ordered more of his troops in the occupied West Delvirian territory. It seemed to him that war would be eminent.

ooc: Just a small island near the coast, it's a colony but mostly used for Naval purposes as there's a base there. Feel free to invade haha.

The planes finally found a relatively flat area to land, and did so, allowing their load of engineers to exit. They set up tents and began flattening two strips that would become airstrips for the 3rd air force.


Meanwhile, 100 miles off the coast of West Delvira

The 2nd carrier group was nearing it's destination. The carrier group would provide air support until the air force arrived, while the destroyers and cruisers would provide the landing support, should Delvira already control the coast. They were on full speed, hoping to get the 6th army to their ally as soon as possible.

ooc: okay, I'll attack it, actually, I'll start a new thread for it. What's the name of the island, and how many ships are their. I need to know so I don't under or overestimate.

Our military forces, well from the beginning, before there was a West Delvira. Our primary forces were that of the 'Liberation Front of Delvira', a small guerrilla army unit. Now we have an Army and an Air Force, preferably known as the West Delvirian Defense Forces. Most of our weaponry consist of former Soviet Union armory and weaponry, we are limited.

ooc: The island is called, Armadura Isle, atleast 10 battle ships, 6 submarines, also, I forgot to mention. West Delvira has no waters btw, just Delvira itself. I'll show you a map if you'd like.

ooc: that would help. Well, I can beat that naval force, easily.

Across the nation of Salzland, military bases began being put on states of alert. Leaves were cancelled while heavy vehicles, hundreds of tons of supplies and military equipment began to be entrained and transported to the coasts. Massive roll-on/roll-off ships sat in several harbors, prepared to take on this cargo, to an as-of-yet unspecified destination.

In Rostgard, the capitol of Salzland, several high-ranking Defense Ministry officials were working late into the night on plans to aid the West Delviran forces. Orders were being issued for several Salzland Naval units to begin heading into the region, while at least two light infantry divisions were being recalled to their bases and prepared for immediate deployment into West Delvira itself.

One question mark remained for the Salzland planners. Satellite surveillance indicated the presence of a massive Gordonopian surface fleet, along with over a hundred troop transports, off the coast of the Federation of Delvira. Before any Salzland actions could be taken, the intentions of the Gordonopians would have to be made clear.

We are in the process of preparing a large bomber force in mainland Salzland, which we will use to launch an opening cruise missile strike against Federal Delviran targets of high military value. Additionally, we are moving fleet units into the region, to prepare for the entrance of Salzland ground forces into this conflict. We are more than open to the possibility of co-ordinating our efforts in this matter.

Attached to this message, you will find a list of bearings which Salzland cruise missiles will be travelling along during their flights into Delvira. We ask that you please keep those areas clear of air or naval forces, in order to prevent any possible instances of friendly fire.

ooc: really, I need to know. So you have two battleships, but what combination of cruisers and destroyers makes up the rest. Should I say maybe 3 Cruisers, 5 Destroyers?

ooc: as soon as I get the answer, I'll begin my invasion of the island. For now, I'm gonna land that army I had en route.

IC: The flee was finally within range of the Delviran coast. Men were being loaded into landing craft, and destroyers were firing their large naval guns. The carrier had launched it's aircraft, which were attacking coastal defenses. The men would have to break through a small strip of Delviran land to reach the friendly West Delvira.

Meanwhile,

The Engineer were working tirelessly on the task of creating an air field. The runway, which would be crude, was nearing completion (most likely finished by the next day) and as soon as the first two were done, the first Group of 48 fighters (and 10 bombers) could arrive. There would be a total of four groups coming, so it would be about a week until the whole force arrived.

With the revelation that the Gordonopians were intending to conduct operations against the Federation of Delvira, the Armed Republic's military planners immediately took into account the additional ground, air and naval support that they would have available for combat operations. With the final roadblock cleared up, the Salzland military finally leapt into gear. At air bases all along southern Salzland, massive B-22 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12803737&postcount=1)bombers began to take off, alongside their stealthier cousins, the SB-22 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=484971). All told, five hundred bombers were soon in the air, along with three hundred escorting F/A-15D Cardinals (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12508735&postcount=1), fully armed for Air-to-Air combat. Though the bombers would never be closer than 1,000 miles from the Federal Delvirans, the Defense Ministry was unwilling to risk committing such a large bomber force without escorts.

Each of the 350 B-22 bombers deployed carried 20 LY-589 Hellion cruise missiles (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=13525984), which would be launched from well over thirteen hundred miles away at targets inside Delvira. All of the bombers also carried Air-to-Air missiles in secondary launch bays, specifically AIM-120D AMRAAM missiles. Once their strike munitions were expended, the B-22s would turn back to mainland Salzland, while the stealthier SB-22s pressed onward, launching their missiles at targets deeper inland. Each of the smaller SB-22s carried only ten cruise missiles, though the fact that 150 bombers were deployed meant they would still deploy 1500 missiles against targets in Delvira.

The opening salvos would be targeted at high-value enemy targets. Specifically, military command and control facilities, air-defense radars, SAM sites, oil pipelines, military supply depots, airfields and other high value targets. Many of the missiles were equipped with cluster bomb warheads, which would be deployed against Delviran vehicle depots and what Delviran barracks and troop concentrations could be identified from overhead satellite imagery. With over eight thousand missiles inbound, it was all but certain that the Salzland opening strike would deal significant damage to the Delviran military machine. All that was left before the Salzland strike was launched was for the Armed Republic to declare war.

Following the invasion of the Republic of West Delvira, conducted by the Federation of Delvira, I must announce that a state of war now exists between the Armed Republic of Salzland and the Federation of Delvira. Any hopes of achieving peace have been exhausted, leaving us no choice but to intervene militarily in order to prevent the outright extermination of the West Delviran people. We call upon the nations of the world to aid us in this endeavor, in order to bring this conflict to an end as rapidly as possible, and with a minimum of bloodshed on all sides.

ooc: Yeah, that's about right. Now work your magic!

"I cannot believe this! Bastardos! Porcos do caralho! Call up the General of the Air Force, order them to fire a couple of medium-range ballistic missiles on the invading force's ships. We cannot allow them to set foot on our soil!", Juan Caranza was enraged as he was nervous. His forces were no match for two invading forces, he thought maybe if he can destroy a couple of their ships then perhaps there could be a slight victory for the Federation. The order was carried out as a young officer immediately contacted the General of the Air Force.



"What? Use are medium-range ballistic missiles? Alright, I understand, but I cannot fire without the Commander's command. In the mean time, I will put this under DEFCON 1." With that, the General gave out a command that had soldiers in the room scurrying about - rushing from computer station to computer station, giving out commands to nearby forces.




The Federal Delvirian Army was already armed and ready to engage the enemy incase they were to land on Federal territory. The isle of Armadura was on alert, this was the Federation's look out post for possible attacks - without Armadura, the Federation was weak or perhaps, slowed down.

(OOC: Delvira, I don't know if you want to take a shot at my bombers. It'd be fairly long range for your fighters, since I'm launching from a thousand miles away. Let me know, and if you do I'll edit/delete this.)

With war officially declared, it was time for the Salzland Air Force to fire the first shots on behalf of the Armed Republic. A massive bomber formation formed over the Central Atlantic, along with escorting fighters and numerous KC-135 Stratotankers. The SB-22s pulled ahead, along with the escort fighters, so that the entire strike package would reach weapons range at the same time, while still remaining under fighter cover.

Defense Command deemed it unlikely that the Federal Delvirans maintained any Over The Horizon-Backscatter or similar long-range radar arrays, based primarily on their small size. As such, the bomber formation itself would most likely remain undetected, which was what the Salzlanders hoped would occur. The thousands of cruise missiles they carried most assuredly would not, once they had been fired. After several hours of flying, the lead SB-22s finally entered range, called out "Tally Ho," and unloaded their cargoes of long-range missiles. The B-22s located 300 miles further behind them followed suit, sending a steel rain toward the Federal Delviran military and its vital infrastructure.

Now it would only be a matter of time, and the strength of the Federal Delviran air defense grid, until the opening shots hit home.

ooc: Ok then, I'm gonna make that thread now.

"Sir, we've lost contact with 7th and 10th Units of the Army. This is not good, I'm not sure if we can more of this - we've also succumbed damage to one of our ballistic missile bases. Shall I order our fighters to engage?" asked one of the officers. The General of the Air Force had a troubled look on his face, he wasn't sure of what to say let alone what command to give, "Yes, send out all of the fighters that we have left. I know a portion of our military structure near the coast has been decimated."


The command was final, within hours only eight F22 Raptors were present in the sky. This was the Air Forces last defense, they would soon be approaching the Armed Republic's forces. "Once we've engaged the enemy, open fire!", exclaimed the General in a furious rage. He was not determined to lose, nor was he planning on the Armed Republic to set foot on Delvirian soil.

ooc: Oh, I forgot to ever declare official war, I'll do that now.

IC: Official Declaration Of War

As of February 26, 2009, in accordance with executive order 1695, a state of war is hereby declared to exist between the nations of Delvira and The Republic of United Gordonopia. The decision was made as a response to Delvira's invasion, and refusal to back out of the new nation of West Delvira. This decision is non-negotiable, and we shall not end until victory is achieved.

Finally, after a several hours of landings, the first few divisions were reaching West Delviran soil. There had been little resistance, but many of the Army's forces were still in Delvira. They felt safe, knowing that they had carrier support, and that the 16th Air Group was almost overhead. Hopefully, this additional boost of men would help West Delvira in it's bid for independence.

(OOC: Delvira, I'm going to assume you meant F-22 Raptors, and not F-15 Eagles. The Raptors are, without a doubt, the better air-superiority fighter in comparison to the Eagles.)

With the missiles launched, the bomber formations turned North to return to their air bases on the Salzland mainland. The F/A-15D fighters, along with several KC-135 tankers accompanying them, moved to create an arc between the retreating bombers and the Federal Delviran border. They were stationed seventy miles behind the bombers, which were retreating as fast as they possibly could. Though they would burn up more fuel this way, it was essential that they create as much distance between themselves and any Federal Delviran response as possible. Already, the B-22 formation was approaching 1,450 miles off the border and increasing the gap, with the SB-22s approximately 350 miles behind them.

It was at this point that the southern-most detachment of the fighter escort began detecting potentially hostile fighters, at a range of just over 140 miles. Two dozen F/A-15Ds moved to engage the incoming aircraft, preparing to fire off AIM-120D AMRAAM missiles as soon as they received a radar lock. Having cleared the strike with the Gordonopians, it was all but certain that these aircraft were Federal Delvirans, burning through their fuel reserves in order to attempt a strike at the retiring Salzland bombers. The escorts, though tired from the several hour-long flight, had the advantage of refueling recently, giving them more options for maneuvering and a longer dogfighting endurance.

All the Salzland aircraft had to do was delay the approaching fighters long enough for them to exhaust their fuel and be forced to return to base, which at the current ranges from Delvira, would not be long at all. Unless they chose to stay longer, in which case they would crash their hundred million dollar aircraft into the ocean.

The phone rang, a young soldier answered it. Apparently it was the leader of El Centro de tierras, the soldier quickly informed Juan Caranza.


General Juan Caranza picked up his phone, "Agradezca por la ayuda a mi amigo, mi nombre es Juan Caranza y soy general de las fuerzas federales de Delvirian. La ayuda se necesita grandemente, nuestra nación no puede defender contra dos fuerzas invasores."

"¿Hay alguna parte de su país en el que podía volar aviones de transporte libre? Asimismo, ¿cuál es la situación en su país, económicamente y militarmente."

"A este punto, los mares son inseguros pero es mejor pasar a través de la Argentina. Estamos debajo de ellos. Ahora, ahora tenemos un aire muy pobre y una fuerza naval - nuestro ejército es el más fuerte que tenemos."

Six C-130J transport aircraft flew threw the sky, escorted by the .2ª Ala-de-Control-de-el-Aire. The forty CL-32 air superiority were equipped in full battle attire, with 8 MBDA Meteor missiles. They maintained constant RADAR scanning and flew as high they could to give them some time to evade any enemy SAM systems, however being this inland would make that a bit unexpected. They were aimed for Salta.

Back home the fleet of sixty-two C-130Js was being geared for a constant flying operation that would bring the three Centrogüese divisions into Delvira. Quickly after that the C-130s would have to be modified to be heavy lifting aircraft and would bring the equipment for the armored divisions and artillery. At the same time the artillery batteries were being chosen.

The fact that none of the incoming Federal Delviran fighters (by this point it was a certainty that they belonged to the Federation) fired missiles as they closed with their Salzland counterparts shocked all of the pilots. Rather than dishonor such a courageous (or under-funded) opponent, the Salzland fighters held their own missiles in reserve. This battle would be settled in the manner of the very first air combatants; through the dogfight.

At these close ranges, the battle would come down mainly to pilot skill, something that the Salzland fighter pilots had in spades. Veterans of numerous conflicts throughout the world, these individuals were hand-picked in order to give the retreating bombers every possibility of returning to Salzland safely.

As the Delviran fighters entered gun range, both sides fired off quick, preliminary bursts at each other, hoping to get lucky. At the speeds both groups approached each other, they had less than one-half second to pick a target and engage, meaning that the entirety of both opening salvos missed. Because their numerical superiority would actually hurt them in this dogfight, the majority of the Salzland fighters withdrew in order to give their fellow pilots a better chance of success.

In the end, it would be an 8 on 8 duel between the two sides.

The six transport aircraft landed safely, turning back along with their escort to their home. They left five hundred fifty-two troops to help set up the defense of Salta, and to begin co-ordination with the Delviros. As the planes landed another thirty C-130Js went towards the nation with an escort of a hundred CL-32A fighters, and they were configured with eight air-to-air missiles constantly preforming surveillance for enemy fighters, their own stealth signature was incredibly inconspicuous and they would most likely be seen only by visual range, giving them a massive advantage against non-stealth fighters.

Another batch of thirty transport aircraft with an escort of fifty fighters was being sent. This circle was estimated to take a six hour round trip flight, the estimated amount of troops carried per day would be about twenty-two thousand troops, however it would probably be only over fifteen thousand as the command decided to give the pilots six hour sleeping breaks. It had been decided that la .11a, .12a, .13a Ala-de-Artillería-Pesada would be sent to help in the war.

Finally, the Gordonopia was building a defensive line in West Delvira. They were entrenching themselves in a circle around the airfield with a diameter of 10 km. In addition to the carrier aircraft, two groups of air force had arrived, and were constantly patrolling the skies. Now that this line was up, and the airfield operational, men from the next army (the 3rd) were arriving by air. Within two days, their entire army would arrive, and the next would begin.

Official Quick Reply Communique

The Zoingonian Parliament has approved of a "Police Action" in West Delvira by a vote of 123 to 77 in the House of Commons and by a margin of 40 to 10 in the House of Nobles. As such state of war exists between Delvira and the Commonwealth until Delvira accepts West Delvira's sovereignty. We are now authorized to send aid to the United Gordonopia and Salzland forces from our colonial territories.

"Fire missiles!", following that order the Federal Delvirian pilots fired two missiles each. A total of 16 missiles from the 8 Delvirian fighter jets. That's all they've had but hoped that would atleast cause some damage.

OOC: Oh, boo. Here I was, all ready to RP a nice dogfight, then you had to go and launch missiles. Jerk :p (Edit to add that I am just kidding, by the way. Doesn't make any difference to me)

Considering the close ranges and rapid maneuvering of the ongoing aerial dogfight, a vast majority of the Federal Delviran missiles couldn't even achieve locks, let alone have a realistic chance of striking the Salzland aircraft. The fact that all eight aircraft fired their missiles at the same time also did not help the Delvirans, as the sudden launch of sixteen missiles, mostly not locked on to anything, forced pilots on both sides to watch for incoming missiles.

Between the missile swarm and a handful of continuing cannon bursts, one Salzland jet went down after catching the shrapnel from a Delviran AIM-9 Sidewinder in the starboard wing. The pilot ejected, and his location was marked and transmitted to the Gordonopians, who at the time were the only friendly forces in range capable of launching an airborne Search and Rescue operation. A second fighter took a cannon burst in the tail, reducing its maneuverability but not knocking it totally out of the fight.

In retaliation, the experienced Salzland pilots attempted to maneuver their way behind their Delviran opponents, so that their own AIM-9X Sidewinders would have a better chance of locking on to the hostile fighters. Additionally, they fired off quick bursts from their 30mm cannons, when they were as close to getting clean shots on the Delvirans as they could hope to be.

Two Delvirian pilots managed to evade the burst shots by quickly moving out of proximity of the Salzland fighters, from there they tried retreating to a nearby base somewhere along the mainland. However, one Delvirian jet suffered damage on it's tail. "Shit! I've suffered da-", before he could finished his transmission the pilot was struck by bullet from the Salzland's burst of cannon fire. The pilot tried covering his wound as blood splattered all over his cockpit window. As his fighter jet took more fire, it suddenly exploded on sight as fragments fell from the sky above. The remaining four tried to evade but were suffering damage along the way on their wings and tail, the pilots themselves weren't really sure how long they could manage. Another Delvirian jet's cockpit and wings suffered heavy amount of damage from the 30mm cannon burts, and as such blew up on contact. Now only three fighters remained, taking damage while trying to avoid the shots.

"Sir, we received a transmission from Salzland, a fighter went down and they are asking us to rescue him."
"Very well, deploy two DT helicopters to the area. How far is it.?"
"About 60 miles."
"Good, It won't be long then."
"Sending the order now."



Gordonopian Safe Zone, West Delvira

With most of the 3rd army arrived, men from the 15th were just starting to come. When they were there, the plan was for an attack into delvira would take place, but that was still several days off. For now, the third of four groups was just arriving, bringing the total up to 144 fighters and 30 bombers, with an additional 192 fighters and 40 bombers off shore. Small skirmishes had taken place on the edge of the area, but they had been quickly repulsed. The only thing that could kick the 400,000 soldiers from these two armies out would be a full scale Delviran attack, and that wasn't likely.

(OOC: Delvira, if your pilots turn back toward your nation, my people would let them go.)

"Viper Lead, this is Three. Looks like several of the bandits are turning tail and running," one of the Cardinal pilots announced, over the pilots' encrypted radio frequency.

"Let 'em run," came the reply from Viper Lead. Counting the fighters that had already been destroyed, along with those heading back toward Delvira, the majority of the enemy planes had been dealt with. "We're not out here to murder Delvirans. Vipers Four, Six and Eight, link up with the remaining escorts and reform the perimeter protecting our bombers. Two and Three, you're on my wing. Let's keep the pressure on the remaining bandits, and see if they won't bug out too. Seven, take a low-level pass over Five's last position, and see if you can find a rescue raft. If you do, mark it, radio the Gordonopians, and see if they can get someone up here. Also, keep an eye on your tail and engine readings. If they start to head south, bail out. Your aircraft is replaceable," Viper Lead ordered, during a brief pause in the action.

With any luck, the remaining Delviran fighters would retreat, ending the danger to the Salzland strike package as they finally withdrew out of range of the Delviran air bases.

A few days had passed and the infantry had all been transported safely to one of the airfields in the northern part of Delvira. Currently armor was being transported via plane and there was also talk back in the country to be sending a few batteries of anti-air launchers to the front, however this would have to go positive in a popular vote and that would take additional time. The infantry was being coordinated and la .3a División-de-Infantería-Ligera was being positioned in the city of Baja Caracoles, la .4a División-de-Infantería-Ligera will begin their repositioning to Las Sierras, and finally .5a División-de-Infantería-Ligera will be garrisoned in Fitz Roy.

Each city was chosen because of its strategical importance that (if you're using the same highway system as Argentina) it would eventually be the only way to get to northern Delvira by major concrete road. Each town was set up in a hexagon, a small patch wasn't entrenched between each side of the hexagon. The trenches were beginning to get dug and it was already planned to include the tank pits in its basic structure. Afterwards the troops would begin planting their AP and AT mines that would lead for the only safe way for advancement of infantry and armor threw a small line that could only fit a single tank.

A forward observation post was erected at the line of horizon, below it was a car, once the FO relayed the coordinates of enemy advancement the artillery would begin with its first wave, although at this time none of the cities had any artillery support. It was planned that each side of the hexagon would have twenty-six hundred men, a hundred fifty-two mortars and sixteen 2A65 howitzers, plus a reserves of a hundred twenty-five tanks and fourteen hundred infantrymen, adding to that they would also have two Kremlin tasksforces that each would have twenty-five KRM-09s.

A radio message was sent to the Delviro command, "Te necesitamos para defender a Perito Moreno y vamos a celebrar tres ciudades de cortar la principal ruta para el norte de Delvira. Mientras tanto usted puede coordinar sus efectivos para un contraataque. Es satisfactoria?"

Another jet exploded on sight, it took too much damage so now there was only two. The remaining pilots were scared, this was their first battle on the air and as such, they didn't want to die. One of the pilots tried to contact one of the Salzland fighters, "Please! No more, we surrender!" the scared pilot said as he continued to avoid the burst shots. "You're a coward! They're not going to let you live! You're not worthy of being called a Delvirian!", an enraged pilot said to the pilot who wanted to surrender. He was the only one that wanted to continue. The Delvirian pilot quickly tried to out manuever one of the Salzland fighters by trying to get behind atleast one of them.

The West Delvirian government was relieved that they had allies to defend them against tyranny. However, they were also concerned about El Centro de tierra's decision to support the Federation. The cabinent tried making contact with the nation, hoping to understand why they choose to help.

On their flights, one of the helicopters happened to find the Salzland pilot that had been downed.
"We're lowering a line. Try to grab hold and you will be pulled to safety."
They sent a message to their ship, who in turn sent one to the Salzland fleet.

"We have found your downed pilot. We are taking him to one of our carriers were he can be transported onto a plane with a longer range We can treat any wounds he has, unless that is something you would rather do."


Gordonopian Safe Zone, Command Tent

The commanders of the various units that had arrived so far, ranging from corps commanders to the generals of the 3rd and 6th army, along with the air force's general were meeting to discuss the coming invasion. The current plan was to drive through the narrow strip connecting the Northern part of Delvira to the Southern, effectively cutting the country in half. They were preparing an encrypted message for Salzland that would discuss possibly splitting the invasion, with Salzland attacking one half, and Gordonopian forces attacking the other.

"Please! No more, we surrender!" Viper Lead frowned as this transmission arrived, unencrypted, over an international GUARD frequency. He hesitated for a few seconds, before replying on the same frequency.

"Attention, turn to heading 180 and proceed out of the engagement area. Repeat, heading 180, due South. You will not be engaged."

As he said this, he noticed a Delviran fighter attempting to slide in behind Viper Two, and pulled into a sharp turn so that he could slide in behind the Delviran. Should the enemy fighter take any hostile actions, it would immediately be destroyed.

The pilot received the instructions from the Salzland pilot, he quickly changed his course of direction and retreated. He didn't want to go back to the Federation, getting executed was not an option nor did he want to be a POW. Instead, he attempted to fly straight towards the ground, his jet was going down quickly and with all that speed he soon hit the ground and blew up. The remaining Delvirian pilot didn't even notice the other Salzland pilot's manuever, he opened fire on the enemy straight ahead.

Another few days had passed and all the tanks had been dropped off, .5a and .6a had been moved to Bajo Caracoles, .7a to Las Sierras and .8a to Fitz Roy. Portions of the artillery were fully combat ready, the remainder being carried and every second brought them closer to the nation. It had also gone threw with the public that an Anti-Air Assembly could be sent to help in the fight against Delvira. It contained five hundred Buk 9k37 anti-air mobile platforms. This would take another week or two, but when that day came the Centrogüese Air Force would gain a tactical edge. La .2a Ala-de-Control-de-el-Aire which contained fifty CL-32A stealth fighters had their HeadQuarters transferred to Perito Moreno, while la .1a Ala-de-Control-de-el-Aire provided escort for the ferrying air ships.

In the cities the defenses were in shape, however only the trench line with added tank pits was completed. Several ditches had been placed behind each line for the emplacement of the mortar and their crew. As the tanks arrived they spent much of their day practicing how quickly they could get themselves in the tank pit. Meanwhile the troops which were more generally suited for jungle warfare too their time cutting down and removing anything that could mean cover for the attacking enemy. However there were several positions where boulders couldn't be moved and these were left extensively booby-trapped and added to grid that the artillery could easily coordinate and fire against without any additional information.

The troops were getting more comfortable in their cities and began talking to the locals, gaining a slow attraction to these people much like them except in a very light version, there were even rumors of fraternization of sexual fashion being aroused threw the ranks, though these were largly ignored not due to lack of interest but mere traditional policy, what a man does in his off-duty is his choosing so long as it doesn't risk the rest of the military or unit. However it could be additionally noted that the night clubs and the like were becoming more and more visually used by the troops during their off-duty time, though this was guaranteed to cease, both the off-duty hours and fraternization as the enemy reared their ugly heads closer and closer to each individual city.

The Delvirian control centre received the message from their ally and were very pleased at what they've heard, "Muy bueno, enviar a nuestras tropas para reunirnos el suyo?"

The General replied quickly, "Esperamos que posponer esta acción, sin embargo, si usted fuera a aumentar la intensidad de los combates en la frontera que sería bueno. As the enemy fighter began firing its cannons at Viper Two, Viper Lead fired a Sidewinder at the bandit. Viper Two attempted to evade the Delviran's attack, but was unable to dodge the entire cannon barrage. A half-dozen 20mm rounds from the Delviran F-22 struck the rear of the aircraft, destroying both engines and causing a catastrophic breach of the Cardinal's fuel tanks. Viper Two died with his hands on his ejection seat lever, just seconds too slow.

Whether the Delviran would be able to survive the wrath of the remaining Salzland fighters remained to be seen.

As such, I have been asked to convey to you that the Armed Republic is instituting an ultimatum against your nation: Should your forces remain deployed in support of the criminal invasion and attrocities committed by the Federation of Delvira, then a state of war will exist between your nation and the Armed Republic of Salzland. You have twenty four (24) hours to evacuate all air forces from the region, and to begin removing your ground forces as well. Rejection of this ultimatum will void the time deadline, and result in an immediate declaration of war. Failure to remove all air and some quantity of ground forces by the deadline will result in a declaration of war.

La .2ª Ala-Caída-de-los-Cielos was being transferred to Perito Moreno, while on the ground they were armed with twelve R-77 missiles prepared to be scrambled due to an enemy preemptive strike. Two RADAR towers were to be constructed on the outskirts of the city, using Delviro locals at the cost of twelve GdP per hour. Meanwhile la .2ª Grupo-de-Control-de-el-Aire was being briefed on their mission, to deploy where ever air support was needed, and to beat back the enemy pilots with sheer ability. It was a tall order being outnumbered the way they were, but their equipment and training would prove to make this take much easier.

The artillery had finally arrived and they were being given their orders to move out already, la .12ª Ala-de-Artillería-Pesada to Las Sierras, .11ª Ala-de-Artillería-Pesada to Fitz Roy and .13ª Ala-de-Artillería-Pesada to Caracoles. These men would be defended by air support as four fighters from la .2a Grupo flew invisibly above each convoy.

The city defenses had improved quite a bit in each, their construction being roughly on the same course. Each city had plans to erect a RADAR tower but these were shadowed by their current work of laying out a three mile wide land mine net, logistics were still funneling ammunition and mines to each city as quickly as they could, and with the arrival of the artillery their defensive position would be near completion. Each soldier could look back their line of defense and be proud of the work they had done, however despite the massive work that was being put into the defenses there was only one line, once that had been breached there would be a mad dash to find cover in the city itself, and this would cause very high civilian casualties as most of the populace still found their homes in the city.

Following the entrance of the Centrogüesi into the conflict, the Salzland war plans had to be updated. No longer would a direct overland flight path be available, with Central and northern South America now considered hostile territory. The risk of enemy fighters or SAMs intercepting the cargo planes and troop transports was simply too great. SEAD missions, Combat Air Patrols and attacks on Centrogüesi runways would greatly reduce this threat, but not in sufficient time to save the Republic of West Delvira.

Thus, the Salzland light infantry preparing for deployment even now would have to head further East to bypass the enemy air defenses, well to the East of Armadura Island until the Gordonopians secured it, before approaching West Delvira from the South and West. Though this would add time to the trip, it would allow the Marines to arrive safely in West Delvira. The transports left Salzland in convoys, protected by F/A-84 Shadows (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12936219&postcount=63)for the entire flight, thanks to mid-air refueling provided by further KC-135 Stratotankers. Further protection would be provided by 'Sea Shadows,' the navalized variant of the F/A-84, as the planes approached Delvira and entered the protection envelope of two Salzland fleets now entering the theater of battle.

The Second and Fourth Fleets had finally arrived from anti-piracy operations in the Eastern Atlantic, and were now preparing to add their own firepower to the war against the Delvirans. They would also serve to provide further support for transport ships carrying three Salzland armored divisions, once those vessels left port and began heading South. In the mean time though, those vessels had a relatively simple set of orders. 'Finish off whatever support facilities and air bases the bombers missed, in Delvira and in Centro del Tierras.'

The air in the sunny room was tense. These, the most powerful people in the Empire of New Chalcedon, felt helpless: their ally was getting involved in a war that they could do nothing to prevent. But it was at least partially his own fault, which led to a quandary. The rotund man formalised the thoughts that everyone was having.

"Well, people: on the one hand, El Centro de tierras is our ally - we are both part of the CIN. On the other, he was getting involved in things that really aren't his business. So, what do we do?"

The radiantly beautiful brunette to his right looked incensed at this summation. "Remember, Alexandros, the Salzlanders have no business there, either. How dare they threaten our allies?" Her sharp tone drew the attention of the man at the head of the table.

"Calmly, Mara. Calmly! We definitely have a situation here. I think, however, that it is our first priority to check if the CIN will back us in this, and, assuming a positive response, if the Salzlanders are willing to back down. Any objections?" When none were forthcoming, he continued: "Very well. Andras, help me draw up some things after the meeting. Now, about that Aglorean business. Mara, has Yevlena reported back yet?"

"Yes, Majesty. The initial signs are hopeful, but not definite. I think..."

The meeting turned out to be an unusually long one.

We would be most pleased to hear your side of the story, in order that We may relay it to Our allies in the CIN whilst the matter of Commonwealth-wide military action is still under debate. It is with great surprise and joy that I have been forwarded your message, Highness. Your assistance in resolving the following conflict would be most welcome. Please allow me to present to you the situation, as perceived by the Armed Republic of Salzland.

The Republic of West Delvira, a member-nation of the Commonwealth of Independant Nations, has been invaded by its neighbor, the Federation of Delvira. In addition to the Armed Republic of Salzland's tradition of defending democratic states under attack, the Salzland Defense Intelligence Agency acquired intelligence indicating that war crimes were being committed by the Federal Delviran forces (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14540952&postcount=3). Please see attached satellite surveillance images, and feel free to verify our analysis of these images with your own Intelligence personnel.

Following these actions, the Armed Republic issued a declaration of war against the Federation of Delvira, in order to protect the sovereignty of the Republic of West Delvira, a Commonwealth of Independant Nations member state, as well as to stop the ongoing humans rights abuses and war crimes. Following our declaration, we detected forces from El Centro de Tierras moving into the Federation of Delvira, setting up air-defense sites, moving in advanced air-superiority and ground-attack aircraft, several infantry divisions, and in general providing aid and support to the forces engaged in said war crimes and human rights abuses. Following an ultimatum to El Centro de Tierras, which was forwarded to the world community at large and made public knowledge, which El Centro de Tierras saw fit to ignore, the Armed Republic declared a state of war to exist between itself and El Centro de Tierras.

While we are aware that El Centro de Tierras is a member of the Commonwealth of Independant Nations, we must note that we ourselves are acting in support of a member of the same organization, the Republic of West Delvira. By providing direct military aid to a nation presently attacking a C.I.N. member-state, we must point out that El Centro de Tierras is in direct breach of Article II of the Commonwealth of Independant Nations Constitution.

It is my sincere hope, Excellency, that you understand that our motives in this instance do not extend beyond protecting the rights of the Republic of West Delvira, a duly-recognized sovereign state. Would the forces belonging to El Centro de Tierras simply withdraw from the conflict zone, as we have asked them, their involvement in this matter would come to a peaceful conclusion. As they have ignored our diplomatic entreaties, and in fact made movements to strengthen their own existing positions in Delvira, freeing up Federal Delviran forces to commit further crimes against humanity in the Republic of West Delvira, we must maintain our declaration of war against them.

It is our sincere hope that, as a fellow member of the Commonwealth of Independant Nations, that you might be able to find success where we failed, and persuade El Centro de Tierras to halt its support for the butchery being conducted by the Federation of Delvira.

The 23rd Jungle Unit of the Federal Defense Forces were to be deployed to meet up with the Centrogüese. A regiment that consisted of the Federation's Special Forces, each equipped with AKS-74s, two RPGs, and included were two snipers. The unit deployed by air in a transport helicopter, destination to meet up with the Centrogüese would take about forty minutes or so. Meanwhile, the president of Delvira delivered a speech to the nation:

"My fellow compatriots, as you already know, two nations decided to wage war against us for reasons unknown. Clearly, this has to do with the reunification of our Western section. These are terrorists and so are these enemy nations by association since they're aiding the West. Never fear, this war we will not loose. I urge the public to fight if they are to encounter enemy troops, they wish to strip us of our freedom!"



Immediately the crowd cheered for not only Delvira but the "braveness" of Juan Caranza. It was obvious that he lied to his public, but with that he hoped to boost nationalist pride.

As our forces have almost totally arrived, we are preparing for an assault on Delvira itself. We are preparing to drive through the narrow strip of land connecting Delvira's North to its South, effectively cutting the nation in half. We can then proceed to attack each half individually. One idea for an attack involves your forces attacking one half, and ours attacking the other. If this plan is good for you, just tell us which half you would like to attack, and we'll begin preparations for attacking the other.

The first of the five groups that made the Air Defense Assembly had arrived and were being positioned. Two were planned for Caracoles, only one for Perito Moreno, Las Sierras and Fitz Roy. The artillery had begin digging themselves in and camouflage was on the list of things to do. All the men were aware of the declaration of war that had been leveled before them, for defending the sovereign territory and government of Delvira. It was a sacrifice the high command was willing to make.

The declaration of war had allotted the mobilization of many things, the majority of that being several Air Defense Assembly units being moved to the coast of Columbia bordering the Atlantic. From there they would all mobilize to attack the enemy force. Meanwhile the three hundred surplus Su-27 that were being scheduled for retirement due to the new CL-32A were being brought up, having many veteran pilots there were deemed a mass asset.

Infantry units around the country began to build up a defense of each individual state's capitol. There was still a total of three infantry divisions and three independent brigades in the country. Meanwhile the Engineer Corps were busy setting up Harpoon launchers around the country, most notably for Puetro Rico and Jamaica, but Cuba and Haiti being large centers of activity. The mainland usually had their anti-shipping missiles ready so their need for mobilization was lesser.

La .1a División-Caballería-Pesasa was moved to Managua to be ready to deploy all along the coast. Attached to them was the Special Air Defense Unit, made up of over three hundred S-400 mobile weapons platforms, in an air defense configuration. The populace had no shelter but the economy was in such a driving fashion that evacuation of the cities was not profitable, so the people stayed working in their cities ignorantly.

In addition, the arrival of reinforcements from mainland Salzland will allow us to launch flanking assaults, should this conflict endure beyond a week or two.

Our primary objective must be the defense of West Delvira, thus we must take every precaution to ensure that West Delvira is secure before attempting any form of counter-assault.

Several Federal Defense forces prepared rather poorly, they didn't think they would invade nor were they aware. However, some of the local towns near the harbor were under martial law. Meanwhile across the nation of Delvira the armed forces quietly withdrew from the cities and were sent back to Perito Moreno where they were systematically withdrawn from the conflict. However back home there was still a declared war against Salzland and the battle would continue from that point on, even at this moment the ballot for a declaration of war was near completion, with a land slide victory for returning the same type of document given to them.

4 Miles outside of Port Ransfeld, Ranzingen

Admiral Sir John Blake was nervous, this was his first real mission as the Admiral of the Colonial fleet of Ranzingen. He was appointed for previous merit and skill, yet this would be his first true test of his ability to fulfill his post. As he watched the Capital of the Royal Colony of Ranzingen fall into the distance, he couldn't help but feel both anxious and nervous for what he felt lies ahead, a hostile nation and a country separate than his own.

He leaned over the railing of the flagship, the USZ Demonté, drinking his usual cup of coffee, looking out into the distant horizon, wondering when he will see the coast of Delvira. As the ship sliced through the waves, he glanced over at the other 59 ships under his command; all of them were tightly in formation, as if they were to encounter the enemy at any moment.

"Are you tense sir?" Officer Handhelm asked the Admiral, appearing only around the corner.

"No...I-I am fine officer." The Admiral replied, ironically, at that moment, his hand was shaking so much that the cup was rattling the saucer underneath it.

"We are setting our course of West-Northwest, and we should be arriving in a matter of a day at Delvira." Officer Handhelm reported, perplexed by the Admiral and the saucer holding his coffee.

"Good, continue on that course until we reach Delvira, I want the 12 submarines to stay on the outer flanks to alert of a possible ambush. How many Marines and combat forces total do we number in?"

"About 45,000 sir, the Colonial Assembly was unable to raise any more Royal Forces or reserve men."

"Hmm....well, we have what we have, You are dismissed Officer."

"Thank you sir...." The first officer saluted and left, but then he quickly came back to point something out that was bothering him. "Also sir, you seem to be very tense, I can tell by the fact that you are literally spilling the coffee all over yourself."

Admiral Blake looked down, it was indeed true, all the rattling from his hands spilled most of the coffee on his uniform.

Juan Caranza was very infuriated that his only ally has decided to cease military aid because of outside pressure. Things weren't looking so great for the Federation, the threat of the capital being bombed by the Dezanians also pressured Juan Caranza and his cabinet. "I can't believe this," the General said as placed an uneasy palm on his head, looking down at his desk in utter annoyance. "First the people of Salzland, the Gordonopians, and now our supposed ally Dezania?", he finished as he slammed a steady fist against his desk. "This is outrage! This is my country! Never the less, I will continue the invasion. I won't let these pigs meddle in my affairs!", said Juan Caranza as he walked over to a nearby window. As he observed the capitol through the window, the Delvirian thought long and hard of what to do.


Meanwhile, Delvirian troops were ordered to occupy the areas that the Centroguese left for the Federation. Immediately, several units of a total of 9,000 soldiers were deployed into that region while several were to keep a safeguard in the jungle region just 560km away from the south. The Delvirian government later issued a mandatory draft, fearing that they would need more soldiers for just incase but this was only being discussed between Juan Caranza and the cabinet.

You need not be concerned, our Emperor likes to boast inorder to scare those who against the grand will of the world. Our Empire would never resort to nuclear warfare, no, but we will drop small bombs on the capitol daily if they do not cease the invasion. This conflict can no longer continue, we were blind but now we recognize the plea and independence of West Delvira, we officially recognize them as a newly former republic. Within minutes of the call, 50,000 men of the XII Corps, along with the tanks of the 8th Armored Division stormed out of their entrenchments and began their drive to the coast. They felt confident that they would succeed, as they had the support of a full army group behind them. If they were slowed, reinforcements could be sent within a matter of hours. The first contact was at a small town a half km over the boarder. A heavy infantry regiment (25,000 men) made contact with a battalion of Delvirans.
"Artillery, fire!!!"
The regiment's 24 GBH-1's began firing round after round at the defenders, which had been caught off guard.

Several rounds blew through the defenses, several of the Delvirian soldiers were blown to pieces as severl body parts flew up in the air. In all, 200 soldiers were killed reducing the soldiers stationed in that town to 2,800. "FIRE! FIRE!", one of the soldiers from the guard post yelled out as started to sound the alarms. Atleast 40 soldiers rushed to the location of the enemy, taking guard behind several trenches and immediately aimed their AK 74s right towards the enemy firing several rounds. Five soldiers out of the 40 who were near the position each pulled out and aimed their RPGs at the enemy each firing off a rocket. "We have no tanks in the area! We have to retreat, we didn't expect this!", one soldier said as he informed HQ over the radio.

The forward batallion began moving toward the Delviran position, firing when they saw movement.

"Ahh!", one Delvirian soldier was shot in the back as he attempted to retreat falling down rather quickly. Several soldiers, atleast 7, who were drunk emerged from outside one of the local pubs and were immediately butchered up as the fell flat against the wall. Only 50 retreated, the rest decided to stay which were only 2,742 troops in the area. The soldiers who noticed the incoming enemy movement attempted to throw atleast several grenades towards the enemy.

Grenades hit only a few of the oncoming troops, who proceeded to storm the enemy's first large entrenchment.

The soldiers threw even more grenades, a total of 50 all together, till they ran out and they did. The soldiers quickly resorted to using their AK 74s by taking steady aim at the incoming troops. They immediately started to open fire.

the 2000 troops of the attacking battalion took 27 losses by grenades and 57 more from gunfire. but it was merely a small scratch, and they began throwing their grenades and firing their weapons at the enemy.

Several grenades landed inside the trenches, it was too late for them to try and escape. An explosion followed as limbs from the soldiers caught by the grenade blast flew up in the air. The remaining soldiers who avoided the grenades died from the gunfire, some tried running away but were caught by gunfire. Altogether, out of the 40 soldiers that were attacking the enemy, 27 died. A total of 13 soldiers remained but continued to engage the enemy by either firing several rounds from their AK 74 rifles or by using RPGs. An additional groups of soldiers from the town, about 100, entered the area to assist the remaining 13 soldiers by engaging the enemy. The quickly aimed their rifles at the enemy and opened fire, 20 were gunned down brutally by enemy troops so the numbers were going down quickly.

As an additional 17 men were gunned down by the determined enemy fire, a company manuvered around and flanked the delvirans. All 200 men opened fire with their assault rifles.

Almost immediately, the remaining soldiers in that area were gunned down. The inland strip was clear of Delvirian occupation, the rest of the 2,350 remained the in the town. While the gunned down soldiers defending the strip fought against the enemy, this gave the remaining soldiers in town to install a road block, covered in barbed wire, around the entrance of the town. They hoped this would cut off the enemy troops from entering the town. About 50 snipers total were in the area, mostly inside some of the residential blocks - 10th floor to be precise, peering through a window. The rest were just regular troops who stood guard behind several buildings waiting for the enemy.

"Okay, call an airstrike. Tell the men to pull out of the city limits, then carpet bomb the town. Also, send in a tank company (12 tanks)."

3rd Air Force Airstrip

The siren was blaring, as 20 bombers and 12 fighters began taking off, heading for a small town where they would attempt to eliminate the enemy position there. The bombers had the capability to devastate the enemy position there, while the fighters were there for escort.


Small Town

"Pull back men! Get out of the area immediately!"
The men who were attacking the enemy position guessed what was going to happen, and quickly pulled out. 17 men were lost in the retreat.

"Roger, releasing bombs."

All 20 of the bombers released their payloads on the defender's positions. Within 10 minutes of the attack, the troops were prepared to move back into the town and take out any remaining resistance.

"Yes! We've won!", one soldier yelled out as he observed the enemy pull back. The brash soldier fired a couple rounds from his AK 74 up in the air laughing. Quickly, he threw down his weapon to inform his fellow comrades. "Those pigs fled! See? We have the strongest army in the world!" the soldier exclaimed as he laughed. A few soldiers cheered on as they all fired their weapons in the air as celebration. One soldier noticed a group of planes approaching, he squinted his eyes to get a better look, and from what turned out to be a joyous occasion quickly turned to fear as they all screamed in fear of the descending bombs. Immediately the town was caught in flames as several buildings collapsed, all 2,450 soldiers died. Only 4 managed to survive only to be covered in debris.

"Move in, now!!!"
The tanks, along with the entire regiment flooded into the ruins. They hurried to what had been the enemy's command post, and promptly put a flag on the rubble.


Along the front, other units were nearing the coast. The operation was nearing completion, and was expected to be completed within a day.

After almost a day, the Zoingonian detachment of its Royal Naval forces finally arrived along the Coast of Delvira, awaiting orders and positions from forces inland as to where to move next.

"Field Marshal, our forces have reached the coast, Delvira is split in half."
"Good General. Send in the 6th army to occupy the strip. Tell them to dig in, as it will be about a week before the next phase begins. It looks like this war is coming to a close."
"Yes sir, sending the order now."

OOC: Gordonopia, I believe I sent you a map of the nation. Can you highlight which areas are now under control before I begin this snazzy post? :O

ooc: I'll just tell you. If you look east of West Delvira, there is a small strip connecting the Northern part of Delvira to the Southern part. That's what I just took over.

A newly-formed West Delvirian Marine unit, which were part of a Special Forces unit - CHACAL. The unit consisted of atleast 1,500 soldiers who were ordered to advance to the recently invaded Federal Delvirian strip, along the way they managed to capture one Federal Delviran Defense Force Lt. Colonel who tried retreating from the Gordonopian invasion earlier. About five hours later, the CHACAL unit arrived at the small town. They were to wait for one of the allied troops, in the mean time five of the West Delvirian marines escorted the Lt. Colonel into one of the empty civilian buildings to interrogate him. It was a little more then just simple interrogation, it was more like torture. Almost instantly they started to beat the Federal Delvirian officer, mostly out of hatred and disgust. "Tell us where your troops our hiding their base!", one marine asked as he kicked the officer in the face and threw several punches to the chest. "TELL ME NOW!" the marine bellowed. The Delvirian officer coughed out blood and tried gasping for air, "I... I don't know! I was only ordered to wa-" before he could finish another marine approached the officer as he punched him hardly in the side of the face.

"General, please report to my office."
"Yes sir, field marshal."

The general, who was the commander of the 3rd army reported to Field Marshal's tent were he found the rest of the high ranking commanders already assembled.

"Welcome gentlemen. As you know, it is almost time to begin the invasion."
"Yes sir."
"You already know the plan. We need to send the 3rd army and the 6th army into the occupied Delviran land. Then they (minus the X corps from the 6th) will invade the Northern half of the country. We won't have to worry if we get stopped, as we can get another army group here within days now that we hold both Armadura and a strip of Delviran coast. One all of the men are in the strip (sector 1) they shall invade the Northern half (composing of sectors 2 and 3). Also, we have two divisions off the coast to stage amphibious assaults behind the line if we need it. So now that we all know what's happening, give the orders to your men."

The northern section of Delvira had more soldiers since the capitol itself is in the north, not only that but there are more military bases in that region. An estimate of 120,000 troops were stationed there - mostly Ground Defense Forces of 100,000 and the infamous elite Federal Guard which consisted of only 20,000. As for the south, only an estimated of 50,000 Ground Defense Forces occupied the southern section, the Aerial Defense Force stationed there were around 75,000 troops - however, with only 6 fighters left the Federal Aerial Defense Force proved now match. Delvira would have to rely on it's Ground Defense Forces, the government officials were alarmed that country itself was split. Juan Caranza and his cabinet thought long and hard of what to do about keep the northern region safe, especially the capitol itself. However, because of the split, a very malicious Brigade General Carlos Salinas III decided to install a temporary government in the south to ensure security. His policies were worse then that of Juan Caranza, all citizens were to remain in their homes - atleast 500 troops each were stationed in the 6 major towns to ensure that no one would leave. Anyone caught leaving were shot on sight. The remaining 47,000 troops were ordered to guard the border that's been split by the Gordonopians, only a few soldiers... atleast 10,000 were ordered to guard various regions however. The stationed troops were about 20 miles away from the actual border, there they waited with an estimate of 140 T-55 Soviet era tanks placed along the area of operations, 60 BRDM-2 armored patrol cars were stationed atleast 7 miles away from the area of defense - a back up force if you will. In the jungles just about 4 miles away from the temporary southern capitol, 4 BMP-2 amphibious tanks were stationed in the jungle region along with a minium of 6,500 troops. The northern region of Delvira was not mobilized yet as they still prepared, however 100,000 of the regular Ground Defense Force were stationed to guard the border as well with an addition of 100 T-55 tanks. Around the capitol and neighboring towns, 140 BRDM-2 armored patrol cars were scattered around to ensure protection among the citizens and the government headquarters.

Gordonopia's defense satellites revealed a total of about 150 thousand men in the northern section. This paled in comparison to their own 400,000 men including the offshore divisions. All of the men were in place, and the attack was to begin soon. All along the line, thousands of artillery guns opened fire at the men along the border. Their flaming hell was only the tip of the iceberg, as the soldiers stood waiting in their trenches.

_____It has come to the attention of my offices that despite the sucessful defence of CIN Member West Delvira, nations from the CIN continue to assault the nation of Delvira. Whilst the CIN is primarilly an alliance of defence, for certain times we feel that an offensive is nessicary. Although we would like to point out to those members of the CIN who have partaken in this offensive war that if the Commonwealth does not see this as a nessicary step to attain peace throughout this region.

_____A discussion of this conflict is still continuing within CIN Headquarters under the "Diplomatic Corps" section and the leadership of the CIN needs to know the intentions and reasons for an offensive war against Delvira so that we may examine those reasons and come to our own conclusion if an offensive is needed against the soverign terroitorial land holdings of Delvira or not.

ooc: so that doesn't concern me. I keep getting threats from CIN members threatening me to back down from this conflict, even though I was the first to come to WD's defense. If something could be done about this, I would really appreiciate it. Oh, and I've gotten criticism for going on the attack, instead of just keeping Delvira out, but Delvira's people are so fanatical, that the war won't end until their nation is physically defeated.

ooc: I know, it's a bunch of other nations on both threads. They have sent formal letters telling me (and sometimes Salzland) to leave the conflict.

Almost instantly 25,000 Delvirians troops died of a burning death as they all screamed out in pain before collapsing. 50 of the tanks suffered immense damage leaving the mechanical behemoths of no certain use at all. The remaining 75,000 troops managed to retreat successfully, they headed towards the jungle to further ambush the enemy. Only 30,000 troops stayed behind to await the enemy, followed by 50 remaining t-55 tanks which opened fire quickly at the Gordonopian trenches.

Several hundred men died from tank fire, but hundreds of thousands of men, as well as several thousand tanks stormed out of the trenches. They began firing at all men in sight, and were firing round after round at the defenders.

As soon as the 30,000 troops saw the enemy approaching they immediately opened fire, however since the enemy's number were double that of the Delvirians - the Delvirian soldiers took casualties almost immediately one by one but the ones that remained for a couple minutes did not give up as they continued to open fire. Several tanks were destroyed along the way leaving only 10 T-55 tanks, the tanks opened fire round after round at the approaching tank and enemy troops. Somehow news reached the capitol, Juan Caranza did not like what he was hearing but nevertheless gave up the war. The capital itself was about 234 miles away from the current battle location.

the 300,000 men that had already passed into the enemy territory had taken 2,000 wounded, and 1,200 dead because the sheer size of their force quickly eliminated resistance. Off the coast, the 40,000 marines were preparing to land on the coast that would take them directly to the capitol. The soldiers moved forward, as the quickly eliminated the enemy.

Even through all the effort that the Delvirian's put up, it was still no match. All Delvirian troops were dead, except for maybe 200 who were badly wounded crying out in pain as a few held up stained white flags just to get the enemy's attention. The capitol was left only to defend itself, unaware of the upcoming invasion.

The 200 men were captured, and the forces began preparing for the drive to the capitol. There were still about 100,000 men in their way, so it would be a big battle. So far, 10,000 men had been filled, with another 25,000 wounded.

The West Delviran Marine's CHACAL unit were now approaching the battle torn border of the north, meeting up with their Gordonopian allies. Along with CHACAL unit were an additional 21,000 West Delvirian Regular Army troops, they had orders from the West Delvirian government to assist in the invasion. Almost after a week, the West Delvirians managed to push the invading Federal troops out of their territory even though the West suffered some intense damage but managed to turn out victorious. The leader of the CHACAL unit, a middle aged Lt. Colonel, approached a Gordonopian troop. "Where's your leader? We're here to assist" the Lt. Colonel said as he looked around the area.

We are about to begin our assault on Delvira's capitol. Our 2rd and 6th armies, as well as two marine divisions totaling about 400,000 men will be involved in the attack. We have however learned that Salzland's force shall be delayed in attacking the South, which appears to have been taken over by a certain Carlos Salinas III. If we do not receive confirmation that Salzland is going through with their attack, our nation is going to transfer an additional army group to the region. If that happens, my force shall be renamed Army Group Delvira North, and the second shall be Army Group Delvira South. We call on our allies to aid us in wiping out this "federation" that has been oppressing its people for so long. Also, my nation invites you do send diplomats to our country to discuss what to do with post-war Delvira.

West Delvirian troops were immediately ready for deployment into the Federal capitol, ad additional extrea 10,000 Regular Army troops were added on to the invasion force which now consisted of 31,000 troops along with the CHACAL unit which also consisted of 1,500 troops. Several officers incharge observed the map of the capital and where to strike. They would not advance first without orders from the Gordonopians since they were a major ally and greater force in this war.

"Colonel, go ahead and tell your men to move in. Our first wave, the 6th army, is being ordered to attack now."

Atop of the capitol building stood Juan Caranza, facing the public in his tan colored military uniform, there he waved to the cheering crowds as he smiled. "My public!", he yelled out. "Rest assure that our nation will not crumble, we are a devoted and proud race! West Delvira shall be no more, we no long tolerate this insult to the fatherland!" the charismatic General said. The crowds cheered fanatically, waving the Delvirian flag in the air, to show extreme opposition against the enemy. Drawings were waved around in the air depicting the Gordonopians, West Delvirians, and other allies involved as pigs in mere uniform that or just disturbing images of decapitation. The crowds continued to cheer as they all chanted "For Delvira!". In some regions, not everyone was for this war - infact some hated the Federation but dared not to show it, doing so would not only endanger them but their families. Meanwhile in the southern region of Delvira, Carlos Salinas III later addressed a letter to the nations of the world on international television, along with radios in the South American region.


"Because of this split, this Federation is no more. However, this won't last forever - I have gave birth to the Provisional Union of South Delvira, a temporary state until the war ceases. Once our Federal brothers win this war, we will be one again! The west shall be no more! I encourage the people of the world to praise our former glorious Federation, but to perhaps pray for rebirth!"



Families in the south who watched this speech on their television sets were disgusted, they no longer wished for the Federation to continue nor to be "reborn". Small skirmishes broke out in several towns, some citizens fought against the Provisional Union troops while others tried escaping out of the country. Some made it out, others were executed.

The CHACAL unit were ordered to move in first, their goal was to weaken the defenses of the capitol for the Regular Army to storm. The CHACAL unit approached the town, slowly observing the heavily guarded entrance with consisted of 1,300 armed Federal troops. Several of the CHACAL unit soldiers opened fire on the Federal troops. A gun fire soon broke out on both sides, the Federal troops took 120 casualties while the CHACAL unit atleast 200. The West Delvirian marines were determined to break through the defenses, they threw grenades at the Federal troops who were taking cover behind several trenches. More and more Federal troops were dying, only leaving 410 which retreated back into the capitol. The capitol was on alert, but this didn't stop the West Delvirians as both the Regular Army and CHACAL unit moved in.

"This is bad. They are not only mocking our allies, but as we are part of the CIN, it looks like some of those posters are mocking our nation as well." Grand Admiral ROckenback stated. "Get me the Supreme Emperor on the line"

*Telephone Conference*

"Supreme Emperor Williams, we just caught a news conference from the Federation of Delvira." Rockenback stated. "It seems that they have both verbally and visually bashed the Shazbotdom Empire as well as the Commonwealth of Independant Nations."

"The people of the Shazbotdom Empire must not see this." Larry stated. "Issue a Press Release stating that the Shazbotdom Empire has altered it's military stance on the situation in the Delviran Region. Don't release any more information than is needed. I will contact the leadership of Delvira and demand that the disrespectful messeges be repealed."

"Yes, Sir," replied Rockenbach.

Shortly after that, Larry hung up the phone and GA Rockenbach began typing up the official Press Release.

_____Pride and blind allegance to a leadership of a country is always it's failure. While the people of the Shazbotdom Empire are proud of the leadership that they elect, they question the laws that they do not agree with. Following the retreat of the Federal troops, the CHACAL unit and the West Delvirian 7th Regular Army unit moved in shortly after. The soldiers were not aware of the enemy's BRDM-2 armored patrol cars which 140 were scattered about in the capitol. Atleast 100,000 Federal troops took guard in the city, and because of the superior number of troops. The West Delvirians did not stand a chance of single handedly taking over the capitol, almost immediately they suffered badly. Only 1,000 Federal troops and 2 of the armored patrol cars were taken out, but that still wasn't enough. The Regular Army unit was shocked at the annihilation of the CHACAL unit, a specially trained Marine unit that was supposed to handle these types of situations, terminated by Federal hands.

"They don't seem to get it. Send in the 3rd and 4th HAVOC Battlegroups. Load them up with the 5th Company, 1st through 60th Division of the Marine Corps. Then notify the 8th Company, 4th Division of the SpecOps and 1st Comapny, 1st Division, 4th Fire Team that they will be dispatched to West Delvira via airlift transportation."

SCENE: SHAZBOTDOM NAVAL BASE || 3RD HAVOC BATTLEGROUP
The 3rd HAVOC Naval Battlegroup was on full alert. Ships were having Marines from the 5th Company brought on board in large groups and put into makeshift bunks within unused cargo holds and turning ship crew quarters into large dorms by putting in more bunks than the room orriginally had. Ammo was being transported into the ships to the ammo storage rooms for the large guns of the ships as well as personal weapons of the Marines. Each cargo container was marked and then recorded to what it was and where it was going.


SCENE: ON THE HIGH SEAS || 4TH HAVOC BATTLEGROUP
Orders were recieved. The battlegroup was to divert towards the Federation of Delvira at high speeds. The ships would pass by Shazbotdom Territorial Waters, close enough for contracted cruiseliners to come out and load up the 2nd half of the Marine Assault Force. Prepearations were already made for their arrival as cots and bunks were being unpacked and set up in the cargo holds and crew quarters of the ships.

On the carriers, air crews were doing final inspections of the SA-32A's in preperation for strategic strikes against the forces of Delvira as soon as the fleet arrived.

The S. Drednaughts were preparing their main guns for naval bombardment of military installations on the mainland and within the bridge of the vessels they were looking over satelite images to prepare assault options on the mainland with as little civilian casulaties as possible. Which was the secondary priority of the Shazbotdom Imperial Docterine when it comes to war.

This was amoung the top 10 largest military operations within the past 30 years of the Empire's existance and all those involved were making sure it would be just as much of a shining example as the rest of them.

As soon as the West Delvirians retreated from the capitol, Federal troops along with several citizens who organized a militia movement helped fortify the borders around the capitol city itself. They rigged several dead bodies with explosives, a booby trap really. Snipers were aligned in four positions around the capitol, they hid atop of the tallest monumental structures around the Federal capitol. Four to be exact.

SCENE: COMBINED FLEETS || 8 HOURS LATER
The fleets were hitting the high sea's at full speed on a course bearing ### mark ###, heading directly towards the soverign territory of the Federation of Delvira. The guns of the SD's were comming to bear directly ahead as the crew's were running drills on the equipment to ensure that they were prepared for the comming battle. SA-32A's were on constant patrol not only to protect the fleet but also to prepare themselves for any areal dogfights that would entail.

On the bridge of the lead Super Drednaught, Fleet Admiral Yackber was standing, staring out the main window, contemplating what would happen in the comming hours...


SCENE: SPACE
SpySat 13 rotated towards it's final positon orbiting directly over the Federation of Delvira. It started taking pictures right away of troop positions and defences of the capital city. It also began taking pictures of where governmental buildings and military bases are thoughout the Federation.

Since there were no defensive positions around the coast because of the early Gordonopian invasion, it was quite easy to land without worrying about any enemies. The only military force that guarded the coast itself were West Delvirian Marine and Regular Army troops that consisted of 16,200 all together. Several important cities and government infrastructures were located in the north especially, several in the southern region but were of minor importance. The Federal troops moral were low and because of that, were unaware of incoming enemy troops - All Federal troops that were located in several parts of the region retreated or were already in the capital taking guard. West Delvirians from the western and mid-southern region were heading towards the capital, an additional 10,000 mean of the 11th Division of the West Devirian Regular Army allied with 2,000 Dezanian Imperial Guards courtesy of the Empire of Dezania. The Empire made up it's mind by sending a small military unit to aid the Republic of West Delvira and it's allies without informing.

OOC: I strongly suspect that West Delvira is Delvira's puppet account, and that there was simply a case of mistaken log-ins. I.E. that Delvira meant to log in as West Delvira, and simply posted from the wrong account.

Following current events, the temporary government located in the southern section of Delvira announced its surrender and dissolution. The leader, Carlos Salnas III, was murdered during a 3 day coup about a week ago. A charismatic Lt. Colonel of the Delvirian Federal Guard, took control and decided to end control in the south by handing it over to the enemy. He wanted to end the bloodshed, to keep his people safe from harm.

The VI corps entered the Southern part of the country to act as occupiers. One of the divisions headed to the Southern capitol, along with a contingent of diplomats, to formalize the surrender. In the company was Johnathon Brown, Gordonopia's Foreign Minister.

SCENE: AS-02 Archon-Class Super Drednaught
The fleet was within an hour from Delviran Territorial Waters. The main guns came to bear and fired a first wave of rounds towards the Delviran homeland, watching them splash and explode less than a mile away from the shore. Coordinates were being put into the firing computers to prepare for the first barrage of missiles that were to be fired towards the mainland.

On the bridge the SD, the Admiral of the 4th Fleet was staring out the window, watching the main guns firing. He was deep in thought, watching the two Hypercarriers on either side of the Super Dreadnaught prepare to launch several more waves of SA-32A "Thunderbolt's".


SCENE: GN-09 Gavin Newsom-class Hypercarrier
In the aircraft hold of the Carrier, 15 SA-32A's were being prepared for launch. Rocket pods were being loaded into the firing chambers along the side of the fuselage and in the nose section bullets for the minigun that was built into the very front of the aircraft. Near the back of the aircraft four cluster bombs and two implosion bombs were being loaded into a rotating dropping mechanism inside of the aircraft.

Along the side of the Carrier A group of five SA-32A's were being raised up to the flight deck in preparation for launch. Slowly they were being moved towards the catapults. As they are hooked up to the catapults, the aircraft hold there for the Pilots to come out of the tower. Each enters their aircraft and straps themselves in for launch. Shortly after they strap themselves in the tower begins it's countdown.

5...4...3...2...1

Swoosh, the first of five SA-32A's shoots off of the flight deck of the Hypercarrier into the blue sky. Then the second. Then the third, fourth and fifth. The flight group banks to the left and begins it's 25 minute flight towards the Delviran Homeland.

"Flight group leader to Flight Group Sigma. Accelerate to Mach 3 and fly up to 45,000 Feet. Set first volley of missiles to fire off in T-Minus 20 Minutes. Target Alpha Three Two Seven."

"Roger that."

"Roger."

"Understood Leader."

"Copy that."

The Lt. Colonel of the Delvirian Federal Guard, Franco Diaz, shook hands with the Gordonopian Foreign Minister. He was very pleased that this war could come to a close end, by handing over the southern section peacefully this would not only save Franco but his fellow soldiers and people. Many of the soldiers did not like Carlos Salinas's temporary rule, they no longer wanted to fight, instead they just only want to go home. Franco observed the office as he looked at each of the diplomats. He was excited, knowing that he was one step away from ending the bloodshed in the south. "I'm very glad you've decided to formulate our surrender instead of killing us all. The Federation can no longer continue, I believe my people deserve a better future.." Franco said as he took a seat.





Meanwhile, the northern section of Delvira fortified the towns to ensure that no ground force can penetrate through. The Federal troops were ready for a fight, a fight to defend their capital.

SCENE: Flight Group Epsilon
The flight group turned bearing 234 mark 991, heading towards what satelite intel shows to be the norteastern most Military Base. They were three miles out when the pilots went into a deep dive until they were skimming the surface of the ocean, water shot up a few feet towards the sky from the wake of the aircraft.

As the aircraft saw the shoreline comming up they banked in two different directions as the lead aircraft pulled up on his stick a little bit to bring up up over the trees and within a few minutes the flight group was bearing down on the military base. Using satelites, they locked onto a few buildings and then released a barrage of missiles then pulled back on their sticks, twisted it sideways and do a 180 degree flip around and jet on an upward spiral in preperation for a bombing run...

Since most of the soldiers were stationed at the capital to ensure stability, not that many soldiers of the Federation were on base. In fact, a total of 37,000 troops were on base and were caught by surprise of the enemy attack. As the bombs splattered, almost immediately, all fighter jets were destroyed along with several tanks. Some of the soldiers tried escaping but were caught by either debris or obliterated by the bombs.

SECRET IC:
SCENE: Flight Group Epsilon
After destroying the military base, the flight group turned to the north to group up with the 3 other flightgroups.

SCENE: Joined Flightgroups
When the flight groups were joined together they all turned east by south east for a 35 minute flight to the capital. Satelite intel maped out any targets of interest within the city boarders, from the capital building to military fortifications to infrastructure facilities (power, water, etc).

"Combined Leader, this is Command. Come in, Over?"

"This is E-01. Over?"

"Targets are locked into your computer. Verify with the rest of the flight group, break and hit them from 4 angles. Over?"

"Roger that, command. Over and out."

SCENE: Joined Flightgroups
As the flight groups converged on the city, they ascended quickly towards the sky and leveled themselves out at about 10,000 feet, high enough to be out of range of minor AA batteries but low enough for the troops that have barricaded themselves within the city to see that the demise of their government was at hand. They flew in complex patters as a way to distract the troops on the ground from knowing what they were doing, then out of no where the lead fighters from each of the flight groups dived down in select area's and dropped 500lbs bombs. Three targets of interest were now under fire.

The flight leader from Group Epsilon's bomb was aimed at a power plant, it felt with straight precision towards it's target.

The flight leader from Group Omega's bomb was aimed at what satelite intel showed to be a large grouping of soldiers, although this could not be fully confirmed.

The flight leader from Group Delta's bomb was aimed at the main capital building of Delvira. He aimed it towards the western part of the building form what satelite intel thought would be where the leader of Delvira's office was.

The flight leaders then banked up quickly to even themselves out and then ascended back up to 10,000 feet and circled with the rest of the combined flight groups.

SCENE: Lead Super Drednaught
"Admiral, Aircraft reporting that bombs are away."

"Alright. Keep me informed to any developments," The Admiral replied as he kept an eye on the ever constant updating video and satelite feed from SpySat 15 in orbit above the fleet.

Several troops who noticed the planes tried to fire at the planes with minor weaponry such as RPGs and AK47s. However, most of the troops died from the bomb run. Almost immediatly the selected areas of target were under siege, as flames erupted through the shattered buildings soldiers were seen trying to escape. Some were even on fire as they tried to roll on the ground. The power plant's destruction added more to the damage as the flames engulfed a larger portion of the city, Delvirian Federal troops were reducing almost quickly. Atleast 9,000 troops remained trying to escape from the devasted capital. The Federal District building was destroyed, most of the important figure heads inside were dead as was Juan Caranza. His corpse, badly burnt, lied underneath burning debris and rubble. The capital literally had no defense now as all armored patrol cars and tanks were destroyed, the remaining troops outside the city no longer wanted to fight. Instead, they just now wanted to surrender.

Since Juan Caranza was no longer incharge, a new leader of the Federation was appointed almost quickly. A very respected General of the Federal Guard, Victor Santiago Bella, was now leader of the soon to be government in exile. Federal troops who managed to escape from the capital migrated to a secret underground bunker just southwest of the capital, the base itself was well hidden in the forest region. Victor no longer wanted to fight, it was very obvious that the Federation could no longer continue this war. As such, Victor and his small commitee arranged for a treaty with West Delvira and it's allies.


"We can no longer continue this fight, we wish to surrender".

SECRET IC:
SCENE: Bridge Level; AS-02 Archon-Class Super Drednaught
Everything was quiet on the ship. A little too quiet for the Admirals liking. Reports of deaths caused by the bombing had been leaked out of Delvira and the Shazbotdom Naval Fleets had picked up these reports and relayed them back to the Imperial Parliament and the Imperial Palace, care of the Supreme Emperor's Office. As he stood there looking out the main observation window as the Fleets made their way closer to the shore of Delvira, he felt the recognizable sound of one of the Ensigns comming up from behind him. He turned to meet the young man of 19.

"What's the word, sailor?" Asked Admiral Yackber.

"Sir! We recieved a short band radio transmission from the Delviran Homeland from an undisclosed location. It seems that we indeed successfully killed President Caranza. The newly picked leader of Delvira is offering their surrender," Ensign Hernandez stated.

"Hmm. I guess this new guy is much smarter than his predecessor." Yackber said, then he paced a short bit and tried to gather his thoughts. I could personally go to oversee the signing of their official surrender, but that wouldn't be all too safe if one of their soldiers got trigger happy and shot me up. What about the captain...no. He's needed to run his ship. Maybe the diplomatic officer, he's a smart man and know's the methods that he needs to do to get them to sign over their country to the Empire as a provisional government... The Admiral then looked back out the window. "Run and get Lieutenant George Q. Carlson up here. Tell Him I want to speak with him as soon as possible."

"Yes, Sir." The Ensign said as he saluted, turned and walked quickly out the back door of the Bridge. Making his way towards the lower decks of the ship.


SCENE: Crew Quarters Level; AS-02 Archon-Class Super Drednaught
8 Minutes Later
The Ensign kept up his quick walking pace as he made his way through the bowels of the ship towards the Crew Quarters Level. Going down another set of stairs he finally made it to the area where the enlisted men kept their quarters and glanced at each door as he passed by. Captain Johnson, Captain Adams, Captain Nickles, Lieutenant Fensen. The names on the doors were familiar to him even though he had never spoke to most of the men and women that were above his rank. Then he finally found it. Lieutenant Carlson, the ships Diplomatic Officer. He knocked three times at the door, which was customary within the Imperial Navy, and waited there. A minute later, a voice came from within.

"Come in"

The Ensign opened up the door and stepped through the threshhold to see him. Lieutenant Carlson was one of the most decorated members of the Diplomatic Corps of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that was currently serving within the Imperial Navy. His quarters had pictures of many missions; including ending a military occupation in a country that the Ensign never heard of, to helping finalize colonization of the lands that is currently refered to as Shazbotdom Miroxia. As an older gentlmen, Lieutenant Carlson had an aura of athority around himself, which even made the Supreme Emperor catch himself nearly saluting the man.

The Ensign shot a quick salute at the Lieutenant as per customs. "Sir. The Admiral requests your presence on the bridge as soon as possible. Reports are comming in that Delvira has offered a surrender and he needs you to spearhead our demands in the surrender of their nation."

Lieutenant Carlson saluted the Engisn back slowly. "Alright. Lets head on up there now then, son."

SCENE: Delviran Shoreline
35 Minutes ago amphibious transports had beached themselves along the shoreline of the Federation of Delvira and the doors on the front of the ships had opened up. Throughout that time more than 300 tanks, 150 WH-01 "Street" Warthogs, 100 WH-02 "Jungle Camo" Warthogs, 300 WH-03 "Troop Transport" Warthogs, and 400 AT-01 "Jackhammer" All Terrain Vehicles had unloaded from the bowels of the transports, along with several thousand Shazbotdom Marines, and were making their way towards the already bombarded capital city of the Federation of Delvira.


SECRET IC:
SCENE: Bridge Level; AS-02 Archon-Class Super Drednaught
1 Hour Later
Admiral Yackber and Lieutenant Carlson had discussed the terms that would bring Delvira to it's knees for quite some time before they came up with a list of terms that best suited the Shazbotdom Empire as well as the Commonwealth of Independant Nations as a whole. The two men just stood there now, staring out the window of the Super Drednaught with glasses in hand. The Admiral was partial to Whiskey during times such as these while Lieutenant Carlson had a glass full of the best root beer from within the boarders of the Shazbotdom Empire.

"Well. I guess it's time for me to make myself known to the Delviran Leadership," Carlson stated. He nodded at the Admiral and then walked out the door of the bridge towards the rear of the Super Drednaught.

SCENE: Rear Deck; AS-02 Archon-Class Super Drednaught
Carlson walked for a few minutes through the internal bowels of the ship, down several flights of stairs until he exited out a doorway on the back quadrant of the ship onto a flat deck. Waiting for him near the back of the ship was an AC-01 "Pelican" Troop Transport. As he walked up to it he saw that there were already 5 of the elite SCS Marines inside. They would provide for his protection during these 'negotiations' for the surrender of the Delviran government.

One stepped out of the Pelican to allow Lieutenant Carlson to board. As Carlson boarded the SCS Marines within nodded their heads as a show of respect. When Carlson got situated in his seat the SCS Marine that orriginally climbed out to let him get in had climbed back in and had attached a secure hook to hims armor as well as an inside hook as he held on with his hand to a bracer along the roof with his left hand while holding his XR-01 "Crimson" Battle Riffle in the other, hanging partially out the back of the Pelican. Thus would be the beginning of the end for the Delvirans.

SCENE: Pelican TEL-216; En Route to Delviran Capital
20 minutes later
Carlson was given a headset a short time ago and was already attempting to communicate with the leadership of the Federation of Delvira using an open comms channel.


GLOBAL IC:
SCENE: Pelican TEL-216; Continuing En Route to Delviran Capital
Lieutenant Carlson gentally cleared his throat while his hand was over the mic of his headset. Then he spoke with clear confidence into the microphone. The recipient would know whom they are and would know what their answer is, or at least he hoped so.

"Delviran Leadership. This is Lieutenant George Q. Carlson, diplomatic officer for the 3rd HAVOC Naval Battlegroup of the Shazbotdom Empire, on board of Pelican TEL-216. You are ordered to go to your capital city for these talks. We will not allow these talks to happen anywhere else. Respond or use of force will be authorized to prove our point."

SCENE: Marines Convoy; 1 1/2 hours drive from Delviran Capital
The Shazbotdom Marine Corps convoy rolled through the jungles towards the devistated capital city of the Federation of Delvira. Marines were sitting on top of tank tred enclosures, in the backs of the Troop Transport warthogs and hanging onto the sides of the other various Warthogs as they made their way westward. Several times the convoy stopped to check on small huts that they saw along side the road, most times though they were empty while others they found civilians. The Marines let these people be while they continued on their way towards the capital city.


SCENE: Pelican TEL-216; 7 Minutes Flight from Delviran Capital
The Capital City could be seen comming into view. Lieutenant Carlson had switched seats with one of the SCS Marines so he could get a view out the cockpit window to the devistated capital city. Fires raged out of control throughout certain sections of the city while other area's were left untouched. Then he saw it in the distance, the devistated capital building in which the former leader of Delvira's body would be located. Most of the building looked to be undamaged though while the western part was devistated to beyond recognition.

This is what happens when nations tend to threaten the Empire, he thought to himself. He sat back down and opened up his state-of-the-art hexidecimal laptop, which was built by contract with the Shazbotdom Government through SDomCorp. Using the communications system of the Pelican, he brought up satelite video to search for a suitable landing spot for the Pelican.

Upon hearing the message, Victor Santiago Bella slouched down his chair a bit with alot on his mine to think. It was very obvious the Federation was no more, with no actual leader and a strong army - the country was without a government to maintain order. Continuing the war would be stupid and even Victor knew that, most of his men had second thoughts. Most of them were young soldiers, ignorant about the outside world. They thought of the Commonwealth as imperialists who wanted to rid the world of Delvirians from their land, a foolish thought that would fuel them to continue to the fight. However, Victor would not allow it - to him, continuing a pointless cause was foolish. Most of his soldiers that didn't think like the others even agreed with Victor and trusted his judgement. Deep inside the hidden bunker base, which was filled with old Soviet technology, the Delvirians recieved the message. "Sir, we have orders to meet at the capital. Do we comply?" asked an officer. "Yes," replied the General, "tell them that we will meet with them right away". The officer understood and replied back, acknowledging the victors.

SCENE: Marines Convoy; 15 Minutes drive from Delviran Capital
As the Marine's neared the capital city, they saw the smoke from the burning buildings flooding the sky around the city. Several dozen SA-32A's from the Aircraft Carriers flew overhead towards the city. The SA-32A's were filled with water inside of their bomb bays as they were tasked with putting out the fires within the capital city.

The Marines also saw about 25 more Pelicans making their way to the city as a forward force to secure the outskirts of the city, of where the Marine's would set up a forward command base.


SCENE: Pelican TEL-216; Delviran Capital
The Pelican was comming down to land within the courtyard of the old Capital Building. The smoke in this area was not that bad as the fires within the building were put out by several aircraft from the fleet just a short time ago. Four of the SCS Marines that accompanied him set up a small perimiter around the aircraft while a 5th manned a hanging gattling gun mounted just inside the rear hatch of the aircraft, scanning the horizon for any possible threats against the Lieutenant.

The General, accompanied by four soldiers, quickly got on board the Mil Mi-26 that would take them to the capital. The pilots of the aircraft looked around the cockpit as the switched on various switches to not only start it up but to check on its status before lift off. The propellor of the helicopter slowly started to turn, the wings were setting about a drift pushing back certain debris. The propellor started moving faster as a steady wind current pushed back even more debris, the helicopter slowly started to lift from the ground up into the air at a constant rate. As soon as the Mil Mi-26 was about the trees of the dense forest, the pilots quickly moved the colossal helicopter towards the capital. Destination would be take about 42 minutes top to the designated spot. All the General could do now was wait until they approached the capital.


Fourty minutes have gone by since the departure, the pilots attempted to land the Mil Mi-26 just south of the meeting ground. The helicopter slowly started its landing sequence as it lowered down the surface as wind started to pick up. As soon as the helicopter touched the ground, the pilots quickly shut down the engine as the propellor stopped moving - slowly dying. "Sir, we're here." said the first pilot, informing the General as he soon awoken from his nap.

SCENE: Meeting Area
Four of the SCS Marines converged close to the helecopted and raised the butt of their XR-01 Battle Rifles to their shoudlers while leaving the barrels pointing to the ground. Close behind the Pelican took off and hovered off the ground, automatic gattling gun aimed in the direction of the five men who got out of the helecopter.

"This way," One of the SCS Marines stated to the men in a deep and unemotional voice while motioning towards the makeshift tent that was set up to the right of the Pelican.

The five soldiers remained behind as the General made his way to the makeshift tent to discuss the surrender. As he entered the tent, the General looked around shifting his eyes from left to right trying to observe was was around, as he was a bit nervous.

SCENE: Meeting Area
"Greetings General. I am Lieutenant George Q. Carlson. Come in, sit down and make yourself at home"

As he stated this, two of the SCS Marines walked into the tent and stood in the corners behind the Lieutenant.

"Now. For this to be official, the Empire wishes me to give you our list of demands. I'll give you a minute to look over this sheet of paper"



List of Demands:
1: Unconditional surrender of the Delviran Armed Forces
2: Downsizing of the Delvrian Armed Forces to 1% of National Population
3: Temporary (6 year) Occupation by joint CIN Forces.
4: 1 Shazbotdom Marine Corps Base with 1 Company of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps stationed there (2,280,000 Marines -- Perminant)
5: Shazbotdom Governorial Protectorate Building (to replace Delviran Governmental Building for the next 6 years)

"Hmm," the General looked over the list of demands with careful consideration, "I have no choice." he finished. The General quickly signed the paper, not sure of whether he was supposed to to do that or not, he didn't hesitate to think. "We have no choice..", the General said with a bit of disappoint present.

A few days have passed since the signing of the treaty, Victor looked around the old capital. As he reminisced his former glory days, back when he was just a young soldier in the former Federal Guard, he deeply thought for a couple minutes before snapping back into reality. We should've been more responsible, he thought If we didn't start this war, the Federation would still be standing. I'm sorry father, forgive me. The General looked down upon the crowd on a badly beaten BMP-3 armored patrol car. The crowd had a look of despair, thinking that the war would still be going on. "People of Delvira!", the General yelled out "As you know, we were engaged in a foolish war that our former commander started. Well, that war is over... and... so is the Federation." the General said with a bit of dismay in his voice as he looked down for a bit. Looking up once more trying to remain steady, "We've lost, as a result, the CIN and the Shatzbotdom Empire will temporarily control our land for 6 years. Nevertheless, don't hate them. It's not their fault, our former commander is the one to blame. We shouldn't look back and be ashamed, instead we should look forward to the future. Have faith in the new government.", the General finished as he tossed his military hat to the crowd.


You could hear distant sounds of crying and a bit of relief among the crowd, the people secretly hated their government. Atleast the peasants did, a few of the wealthy individuals were shocked and disappointed about the collapse of the Federation. Some blamed General Bella for not doing a good job, others blamed West Delvira. Never the less, most of the Delvirians looked forward to the new government. The West Delvirian people were glad to hear about the CIN joint victory in mainland Delvira; the president of Delvira, Patricia Rivera announced to the crowd about this glorious day.


"No longer will we have to worry about threats of Federation, because of our friends - the Commonwealth of Independent Nations, they not only helped us repel the enemy but also rid the world of the Federation! Not only can we look forward to a bright new future but we can also look forward to a newly developed government in Delvira!", Patricia said with victory as the crowds cheered as a few waved the national flag.

The Commonwealth of Cool Humans grudgingly recognizes your independence, though it also urges you to stay cool.

SCENE: Military Convoy; entering Delviran Capital City
Civilians were lining the streets watching the convoy of hundreds of thousands of Shazbotdom Marines entering into town. Their guns drawn but not pointed to any of the civilians. The Men and Women of the Marine Corps waves to the citizentry of Delvira with each block that they passed going through the city. Every few blocks or so a hundred or so of the Marines jumped off of the convoy and began to walk down either direction on that street.

SCENE: Delviran Capital Building
Several Pelicans flew back and forth over the city pointing out area's that are still in flames so bmober aircraft knew where to go to drop off payloads of water and other fire fighting liquids. Other pelicans landed on the grounds of the Capital Building and dropped off members of the Marine Corps of Engineers, of whom would set up camp and prepare for the demolition of the part of the building that was damaged and the rebuilding, then would continue with the renovations of the building to be the govenorial building for the Shazbotdom Occupation of Delvira.

SCENE: Military Convoy
The tank colum came within visual view of the Capital Building and the mob of people that had surrounded the General while he was making his speach. They puled to a stop in row's of 3 while hundreds of marines walked up in front of them and stood at attention.

The Shazbotdom Marines caught the General's attention, several poorly armed Federal Delvirian troops looked at eachother then straight at the Marines. The General, hopped down the badly ruined patrol car as he made his way toward the crowd of Marines. "What is to happen now? Who is replacing me?", The General asked as awaited an answer.

The marines shielded their faces from the rocks. A tank that noticed the incident turned it's main gun towards the five dissidents while 5 other marines moved in from the sides and drew their tazers, aimed at the five throwing the rocks and pulled the triggers. The cords shot out of the tazer guns and hit the five citizens throwing the rocks and 10,000 jolts of electricity coursed through their bodies.

A marine then could be heard over a loudspeaker, "Disscent will not be tollerated. Attacks upon Marines of the Shazbotdom Empire will be considered assault and battery and are punishable by Shazbotdom Imperial Law by 10 years in Prison."

Ten marines then closed in on the five who were throwing the rocks and as the tazers were shut off, they were grabbed and zip tie handcuffs were closed in on their hands. They were then dragged away with two XR-01 BattleRifles to each one of their backs.

A former Federal soldier who was among the rioting group, spoke out as he was being dragged away, "THIS IS NOT YOUR WHORE COUNTRY'S LAND! GET OFF OUR LAND! BASTARDOS!" the man finished as he attempted to spit on one of the Marines.



"How dare you speak out against our saviors!", yelled a citizen from the crowd. An obvious supporter of the Shatzbotdom Empire, because of those five rioters the young woman was a bit annoyed and upset at the rioters behavior. It seemed that the citizens were now in favor of the Empire, despite early anti-CIN protests before the invasion of the capital.

On the Argentine Grounds, the AC-220 planes arrived on the scene without any escorts. Captain Jerome Wismar went out on the plane he was in. "Where are the Delvirans??" he asked himself. He and other troops waited until the Delvirans arrive.

The Military Council, along with several hundreed hard-line Caranza supporters whom were Federal troops. Along were atleast 1,000 wealthy citizens, whom were all supporters of the fallen regime, emerged from the thickly hidden bushes of the wooded area. As they saw the Martilian troops, they ran towards their saviors to aboard the planes which would take them to a new country to start all over again.

A Marine got over the loudspeakers again, "We will not tollerate this. Next time it won't be a tazer, it will be non-lethal rounds from our weaponry. As he stated this, a WH-03 'Troop Transport' Warthog rolled through the tanks and 10 more Marines jumped out of the back of it. They were in full battle gear just like the rest of the Marines in the area.

The marine then continued, "Also, be advised. 1 Divison of the highly eliete SCS Marines will be dispatched here from the carrier battlegroup off-shore. This wil be a total of 650 Marines. Don't piss them off because they feel no emotion and will not hesitate to slam you down to the ground for attacking them."

As the Martilian troops saw them, Captain Wismar quickly ordered their troops to be ready and tell the Delvirans to get in the plane. Each plane has a capacity of 400-600 persons. As the planes start their engines and Delvirans get in the planes, Captain Wismar ordered his troops to be cautious and keep an eye on the bushes. After several hours, they have got the entire Delviran troops, supporters and citizens in the planes. Wismar ordered to get in the plane for take-off. The plane took-off, as they approach the coastline of the ones mighty Delviran empire, Delvirans look throughout the window of the plane and see their shattered and torned nation being lead by the ruthless Shazbotdam empire and West Delviran empire, in the horizon, squadrons of MiG-76s appear to escort them back. They slipped through the Shazbotdam Air Defenses as they flew on high altitude.

Larry was looking over the latest news from Delvira and the instillment of the first waves of Marine Corps into the country. He was going over dozens of forms that the Ministry of the Military gave to the Imperial Paliament for approval then sent to him for signitures. He was about halfway though the rather large stack of paperwork when a knock came at his door. What the hell is it now, he thought to himself. It's damn 2 in the morning. Larry quickly got up and walked across the room, opening the door to find Minister of the Miliary Rockenbach at the door.

"Come in, Jim. What's going on?" Larry asked.

"I just recieved news from SatCom. It looks like the Delvirans are evacuating people out of the country," He stated. "Probably loyalists to the former leadership." He finished as he handed Larry the satelite images that had just come through less than 20 minutes ago.

"It's not that important," Larry commented. "I wouldn't worry about it. Just let them go but move a second Spy Satelite to the region to watch for any more developments."

"Yes, Sir," Rockenbach stated. "You should get some sleep, sir. I'm heading out to do the same."

"I know," Larry stated. "I just wanted to finish up a few more of these forms. Goodnight Jim."

"Goodnight, sir." Rockenbach replied. He then turned and walked out of the office. In turn larry walked back over and sat down at his desk, pulling a few more forms, he looked over them quickly and signed them as nessicary. It was going to be a long few days.

Two WH-01 "Street" Warthogs were making a routine patrol throughout the notherwestern quadrant of the city, looking for any suspicious activity while also checking traffic conditions. The gunner on the back was rotating around slowly, checking every direction for anything out of the ordinary. His heavy 50mm weapon was currently loaded up with rubber bullets just in case the patrol met any insurgents who would maek this occupation very frustrating.

SCENE: Camp Alpha
Pelicans had been landing and taking off all day, dropping off the waves of SCS Marines that were assigned to the Delviran Occupation. Their heavily armored boots could be heard for hundreds of yards as they shifted around and got themselves situated. Some began patrols near the capital building while others were waiting to recieve orders uplinked to their computer systems.

"We need to come to a decision about this." shouted one of the Representatives from Shazbotdom Miroxia. "There needs to be a stable leadership within Delvira if we are to establish order throughout the region!"

The gavel hits to silence the mass of murmers that arose from the 750 member House of Commons. The chairman then spoke into his microphone. "There are three possibilities for the position and you have been given all the relivant information about all three people. We will take a 20 minute recess and then when we get back there will be a vote on not only EM01, The Delviran Occupation Bill, but also on who is to take charge of Delvira for the 6 Year Occupation."

The gavel hits again to signify that the recess has begun...

Shortly after EM01, The Delviran Occupation Bill, was passed in the House of Commons, it quickly flew through the House of the Senate and was passed nearly unanimously, with only 1 person voting against it.


GLOBAL IC:
SCENE: Shazbotdom Imperial Palace; Shaz City, Shazbotdom
Telvision camera crews lined the wall of the Supreme Emperors office while newspaper reporters sat low to the ground with audio recorders. They were awaiting the enterance of Mr. Williams into his office to do a final overlook of The Delviran Occupation Bill and then to either sign it or Veto it. Some people fidgeted as they waited while others made small talk between themselves waiting for the large oak door along the left side of the room to open up. The door lead to the Supreme Emperor's inner sanctum, the inner private office where he met with foreign dignitaries and other leaders of the Shazbotdom Government in private.

It seemed like nearly an eternity for the members of the press to be sitting there when the door opened an an aide of the Supeme Emperor's took a step through. He then gentally cleared his throat. "Ladies and Gentlmen. The Supreme Emperor of the Shazbotdom Empire, Mr. Larry Williams." The croud clapped as Larry entered the room. He had seen his better days. As a man of 64, he had seen quite a bit under his patronage within the Shazbotdom Imperial Government. From his time as an intern back in his early 20's, through his patronage as the Mnister of Foreign Affairs under 3 different administrations, to his current reign as Supreme Emperor, he had done and seen it all.

He looked into the camera's and gentally cleared his throat. "It is a sad day when one must sign a temporary, 6 year bill into law that takes away the fundemental rights of a nation to keep it's soverignty after such a short and brutal conflict. The minority diluted people's of the former Federation of Delvira do not see the pain and suffering that their previous administration had brought upon them when it declared an unjust war upon the Republic of West Delvira. When the Republic of West Delvira came calling to her allies for support in the conflict, the Empire was a little reluctant at first to jump into the conflict but when a direct threat was mentioned to our great nation, we were bound to take action."

He slowly shuffled a few papers around and looked down at the bill, quickly reading it over. He then flipped it to the last page and looked back up at the cameras. "Today marks a sad day, but it is not just a sad day, it is a day of rebirth. A day when the Delviran people will get a hand up, not just a hand out. Where their infristructure will be upgraded and their people taught tollerance for their fellow man. Today marks a 6 year long step to a renewing for the people of Delvira, a renewing and rebirth that the Shazbotdom Empire is proud to be a part of."

He then looked down and gentally, with a slow and steady hand, signed the last page of the bill.

"I thank the members of the press for showing up. Lets all have a part in this new start. Good day."

With that, he slowly got up and walked out of his outter office back into his inner sanctum through the large door on the left side of the room.

"Ah, Captain Ramos. It'll be a pleasure working with you.", said a fully dressed Lt. Colonel as he entered the conference area where he looked around, observing the Spetzla operatives. "My name is Victorino Huerta, I was commander of the 4th Federal Guard regiment unit... before it's demise," the Lt. Colonel said as he adjusted his hat, "nevertheless my people and I are ready for one more fight." he finished as he took a seat.


Several loyalists, mostly regular citizens and former Federal soldiers entered the area. They were dressed in poorly outdated uniforms, plain olive colored BDU uniforms with former Soviet tactical vests. "As you can see, we couldn't gather any weapons but we've gathered remaining military gear." said Victorino as he pointed to his troops.

SCENE: All Across Delvira
Marines were drilling down into the concrete in sidewalks throughout many of the main cities in Delvira, including the Capital City. Sliding in the beginings of a sign post and then filling the hole with quick drying cement they mounted a metal square with a bullet proof glass casing. As soon as it was fastened they opened it up and then posted two pieces of paper. They were quick with their work to ensure that it was done in a timely manner. The signs were put in area's where they new the most foot traffic would be, to ensure that the citizentry would read the bullitens. They then waited to ensure that the cement dried thoroughly before moving on to the next post.

The Shazbotdom Empire has declared Martial Law within these territories. The rules for this Martial Law are simple and should be followed to ensure the stability of the region and the easy transition in 6 years to a more stable Delvrian Soverign Nation.
1: No one is allowed out of their house between the hours of 10pm and 5am Local Time, unless authorized by the Shazbotdom Imperial Authority.
2: Civilians are not allowed to have weapons of any kind, for any reason. Being caught with a weapon will be considered a felony and manditory prison time will be instilled. The prison time will last until the occupation is over.
3: Citizens are allowed the right to protest in a peaceful manner. Violating the peace is punishable by prison time until the end of the occupation.
4: Attacking a member of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps is a felony and you will be thrown in prison for the manditory 25 to 20 years as dictated by Shazbotdom Imperial Law.
5: Follow any and all reasonable laws put in place by local Delviran Authority (city governments). Failure will result in prison time.
We do not wish any harm on the citizentry of Delvira, so please follow these rules and we will see no more bloodshed at all.

Changchun, PRN (People's Republic of Neijin) - Neijinese People's Supreme Congress



The atmosphere in the NPSC was a bit strife, several Neijinese delegates were very concerned about the current situation in Delvira and also worried about the Republic of West Delvira's stance on this whole affair. One of the delegates, a mister Deng Jintao was almost guaranteed that the newly independent republic of the West was going to plan a slow invasion of the country. The Neijinese council of the entire NPSC would not allow this, however starting a war was also not an option. Instead, the council hoped to instead persuade the current occupiers to leave and to bestow upon the Delvirian's decision on what type of government that should lead the country through a series of elections.

Due to certain events, it seems
that the former "Federation of Delvira" is no more and also the Delvirian
people have no governing power to maintain order. We, along with the rest
of the world looking on, are very proud and honored that you people would
lend a helping hand. However, your approach of remaining on Delvirian soil
for a lengthy amount of time concerns us. Clearly this is way out of line,
this occupation is merely imperialism at work. It seems to us that you're
merely helping the West Delvirian republic gain more land - Delvirian land.

We cannont allow history to repeat, we mustn't encourage barbarianism to
engulf the Delvirian people to a government they probably don't want to be
apart of. Let the people decide, let them vote on what type of government
they wish to live within. Please take our offer as not a threat, but a friendly
and helpful gesture of good will.

"Ah, Captain Ramos. It'll be a pleasure working with you.", said a fully dressed Lt. Colonel as he entered the conference area where he looked around, observing the Spetzla operatives. "My name is Victorino Huerta, I was commander of the 4th Federal Guard regiment unit... before it's demise," the Lt. Colonel said as he adjusted his hat, "nevertheless my people and I are ready for one more fight." he finished as he took a seat.


Several loyalists, mostly regular citizens and former Federal soldiers entered the area. They were dressed in poorly outdated uniforms, plain olive colored BDU uniforms with former Soviet tactical vests. "As you can see, we couldn't gather any weapons but we've gathered remaining military gear." said Victorino as he pointed to his troops.


"Ah...nice. Good to see you Lieutenant Colonel Huerta" said by Field Marshall Victorino. "It's also like coincidence you have your name same to my surname" Field Marshall Victorino laughs. "Alright, the mission is highly classified, here are the papers", he passed the papers to Lieutenant Colonel Huerta, "It includes there your entire mission and objectives. I hope you succeed, Good Luck". Then the Spetzla Units of Captain Ramos with several of Lieutenant Colonel Huarta depart from the Secret Airfield Base and went to the Argentine Grounds and land the plane there. They landed there without alarming the Shazbotdam Empire Armed Forces. They carried the communication units and left the plane. The plane took off and started going deep to the jungle. Captain Ramos asked Lieutenant Colonel Huerta "Do you know where we are going??".

"Establishing a base on occupied Delvirian soil is too risky, especially with the Shazbotdom Marines present." he finished while looking around in the dense jungle region. "I believe we should go south, there we will be on West Delvirian soil." he said once more as he wiped away sweat that was emitting from his face.

Several of the Federal loyalists clinged onto to their AK 47 assaut rifles, several of the citizens who were apart of the group showed a bit of a nervous attitude. The citizens at the time were wealthy politicians, most of them anyway, and never had any real military experiences.

"Alright then", Captain Ramos said. They quickly head south, it took them 2-3 days. They have slipped several Shazbotdam Helicopters patrolling around the jungle. The jungle stretches from the Argentine Grounds in the occupied-Delviran territory and to the North-east of West Deliviran territory. "Are we there yet?", Ramos' asked.
