costume(other than school clothes): Normally either wears a formal suit or T-5 combat armour, a complex mecha armour made for usage in very dangerous situations(though he wears it quite a lot). Always has his Desert Eagle pistol.

Brief Bio: When he was a child of 12 years(before the Erbanese Peace Pact), he was thrown into military service for petty theft. Once he was there, he showed great skill and determinaion at almost all things they could throw at him. Because of this, the government decided to increase the time he had to do. When the EPP was signed, he was 17, and already at the rank of Captain. The new government offered him the chance to go free, but by now, the army and the barracks were his life. Being worried about his mental state, the government tried to rehabilitate him, with partial success. He had a personality now, and a very good one as well. Funny, helpful and kind. But he never lost that army vibe. Thus, they decided to make him the main ambassador for Erbanak. Since then, he has realised that he has strange abilities, that only seem to work when he's angry. That is why he is here.

Abilities(maximum is two): 1) Heightened senses, Eyes of a hawk, Ears of a....well...very sensitive hearing, the Tongue of a snake, the nose of a dog...etc... 2) Extreme strength, toughness, speed stamina etc.

weakness: He only has his abilities when he's angry, and when he does get the abilities, his 'other self' also comes out...

Brief Bio: Janos Agyar is a soul vampire, a horror who sustains himself by feeding on souls separated from their bodies through spiritual corruption and decay, and/or torture. He attaches himself to evil men and aids and abets them with his abilities, until the patron is brought to justice, when he escapes and repeats the process anew.
Abilities(maximum is two):Soul Vampirism-he can take the souls he's trapped and send them forth to spy or possess others to do his bidding as well as assume a "Soul Globe" form that is immaterial and flies, Brilliant biochemist-his knoqwledge of biochemistry allows him to perform miracles, including bestowing powers upon others, though this is risky.

Brief Bio: Sareau constructed a living scarecrow using Mother Rigley's grimoire and is trying to train him to get along in the society of the Empowered
Abilities(maximum is two):Construct, Hellfire Control-He is not alive, technically, and thus possesses some defenses and heightened strength from his inanimate condition. His head holds a flame burning with the fires of Hell, which permits him to belch forth powerful gouts of green fire. With practice, this power source should have other uses, mirroring an Adept level mage, but such will take time...

I've had a thought and I'm thinking of changing Rathma's profile since it lacks some detail but I want to open a sub plot about his past. So I'm just going to do a few changes and mention a few more things.

costume(other than school clothes): Instead of costume, he uses his military uniform. Black cloak, mouth guard (covers half of the face), shirt, cargo pants and slouch hat.

Brief Bio:

Rathma Phoniex was born into a peaceful country of Romaina in 1909 and had one older brother (Blackett) and one twin sister (Amy) along with his parents. The family were pure werewolves. However, in 1917, Romaina was thrown into a civil war during the First World War. It resulted in the natives hunting down the Phoenix Family. Not much is known but it was recorded that the parents died while trying to save their children by putting their lives on the line. The parents were persumed dead. However, there was nothing to mention what happened to the children from that day.

The only records known about the children are; Blackett was given to an Australian during the last days of the First World War. Amy ran away from the fighting and was taken in by an Englishman who took her in as an orphan and the Englishman, his family and Amy mirgated to India. Rathma on the other hand had an unknown fate. Nobody know's how he ended up on Lynx Island in the Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion in 1939. However, there was some sightings of him and somebody else crossing Russia and then sailing towards the Lynion Islands.

Shortly after he saved Vamp from an assassination attempt, Rathma took his first steps into his military career. Not once did he take up a desk job. His military career lasted until 2020 (Present time in Lynion) when he decided to start thinking about the direction of his life, shortly after his wife gave birth to twins. He took time off to start some teaching and try a different approach with life. It only brings him back to his military career and his inner demons. It is rumoured that Rathma is a demi-god of some kind which can explain his disapperance in 1917 and re-appearing in 1939. It can also explain the reason why his memory is shattered between 1917 and 1939.

Abilities(maximum is two): Supernatural Martial Arts Master, Fire Powers.

I notice a lot of commentary on when the IC thread moves to the new forum, but I'd like to resolve a current plot or two since we have two (at least) petitioners who'd like to join anew, and it's easier to let them start fresh with new plots, etc. I'll prepare a contrived plot summary here before putting it up to start the new thread.

So, since you want to start a few months down the road-after summer break so the "Old Guard" are on their second year? Do you want us to start the second year now and just wrap up our plotlines on Jolt or should some of them carry over? I'd really like to give Reverend Fletcher's Soldiers of the Lord program a year or so to get off the ground, as well as Sareau's Empowered Army. The apkallu curse I'd as soon wrap up in the Jolt thread so the new students needn't bother, the Divine Manifestations I really don't have a handle on, but the idea Josh and Goltia could destroy the world probably should be a continuing thing.

Should Delphina and Lucus be a plot point for blackmail? Relative ages aside, it is not ethical for a teacher to date a student.

Should Professor Whately attempt to cultivate Vamperial Fungi? This is something I'm considering just to see what this Fungal stuff is we keep facing in the sims.

Anything that should be set aside for the second year, let's get a start on, and perhaps wrap up the Jolt thread with Sadie Hawkins? Let me know...

Actually, it should be Delphina and Lucus be a plot for blackmail. They're dating at the moment. Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind doing this plot with a fatal ending. Wow, I've already have an idea coming to mind.

Vamperial Fungi would be a nice sub-plot and you can have the help of Rathma and 367 for that one since both served in the Fungi War. It'll show how merciless the Lynion's were during the war and how it changed people like Rathma.

Breaking up for the summer huh? That's handy to know. I'll post pone Kyzburgs antics untill "next year" and just run with the plots you guys wrap up.

Judging by how things have gone so far he's probably going to have a nervous breakdown so that holiday will be most needed.

And don't let Kyzburg near the Fungi, he'll have it growing by the bucket loads in less than an hour for holistic treatments...

Ok, not literally explosive. I mean like something that would involve just about everybody in a few posts.

Basically, here is the supposed reason Ziyo left. A group of other Empowered in Kagetora were captured by the government, and somehow Ziyo got word of it. So he went down to the planet to try and rescue them.

Now basically, in the new roleplay, my introduction will be my 2 new characters (a phaser and a bone-morph) wheeling in Ziyo on a stretcher (covered in a non-conductive and transparent material of some sort). Ziyo will have several bulletholes throughout his body, and they will be followed by Shogunate soldiers

I am cross-posting this message on the advice of Ordo Dracul. I may have overstated my feelings slightly--I feel no hostility toward this thread, its companion thread or anybody involved in them--but we both seem to feel that it brings up some valid points.

I was involved in the NS thread when it started, but I quit when I put my character in a situation that needed a response and no one bothered to respond.

To be blunt, I didn't miss it. While I was in it, the thread was a giant soap opera, with characters just sitting around going "oooo, my powers do THIS!" "ohh, my powers do THAT!" I made my character a villain, and, any time I tried to make him do something villainous, it was as if no one could be bothered with the G vs E thing. They did not seem to understand that I was playing a character who believed himself to be superior to everyone around him, and that anything that he did to assert his superiority was, in his mind, completely justified.

I've always believed that good conflicts make good stories, and I didn't think that the Super Hero High thread had any worthwhile conflicts. I felt that, rather than being driven by protagonist/antagonist conflicts, the thread was driven by politicking among the protagonists. I call this "McCaffery Syndrome," and, to me, it is one of the marks of a bad story.

I could rejoin the group--and even add in a few other villains--but, before I do, I need to know that they will fit into the situation that they find themselves in. If this thread is to be more of what I got before, there is no need for me to bother, as it will only aggravate me and I'll only pass my aggravation along to others.

So...could there possibly be more of the G vs E thing in this thread? NOTE: I am not suggesting that the individual characters' stories need be stopped, merely that the thread be expanded.
