Anyway, for anyone who is aware of my intention to turn this RP into a book, any title ideas? No offense, but "Zombie Overrun RP" doesn't sound like a great book title

Prologue

It was a beautiful day like any other. The sun was shining, a light breeze swept across the bustling metropolis with a drowsy stagger. The birds called to one another, pigeons flying overhead.
“Well Gunny, how’s it going?” Ted Huenel, owner of Zinium Unlimited asked Gunny McGee, the operator of the local Zinium power supply station in Merue.
“Very well sir. Our little power plant here is supplying the entire city with energy, and we’re making enough money to cause your grandfather to roll in his grave!” The pair slowly meandered around the power plant on a routine inspection. Up ahead, Ted saw something that sent shivers down his spine.
“Gu…Gunny? What is that?” pointing to a barrel that had fallen over, leaking a green liquid that formed in a pool.
“That’s just a fallen barrel sir. I’ll have it cleaned up right away,” said Gunny, motioning to a nearby janitor, and tasking the man to clean up the green ooze. The janitor wheeled his little cart and mop over to the pool and began to clean up the liquid. Lifting up the mop to rewet it, the mop was considerably shorter than when he started. He looked up at the manager, with a questioning look on his face. The manager, equally puzzled, looked at his employer.
Ted’s face was almost completely drained of all color.
Without saying anything, he ran over to the pool, picking up a piece of scrap metal and using it to push the liquid away from where it had concentrated. When he looked at where the green slosh had just been, his face lost all color it still had.
“Gu… gu… Gunny? Wha… what’s below here?” the owner asked, knowing the answer couldn’t be good.
“I believe the main city water pipes sir.”
With that news, Ted fell over in a daze, quickly losing consciousness.

It all began in a small suburb of the city. People were stricken with unexplainable seizures and vomiting when they drank a glass of water, took a shower, or brushed their teeth. The smaller hospitals quickly filled up with the Infected, as they would come to known. After the small hospitals filled up, the patients were transferred to the big hospitals in the more urban areas.
The patients were found with a powerful urge to bite at the doctors and nurses treating them, often beating them to the ground and killing them.
The staff that could escape to the streets, did so, where they began to experience seizures and vomiting, and continuing the chain.

Funny, I don't remember it being so damn Long.

The intro is kind of abrupt for a book. You might want to add a little to the first section. Maybe follow the Ted Huenal from when he wakes up that day to when he gets into the plant and stuff. Give him some normal day characteristics such as lost car keys, traffic, etc. lol. That Intro i wrote was for an RP, not a book. It needs heavy modification to make it into a good book. If you want I can write an example for you but it will have to be a few days from now when I have more than an hour to myself. lol

@HT: I'm not gonna read all of them... Heck, I don't really have the time to read one all the way through.

@MI: True. But prologues are supposed to be short. But I'm not the best writer, so I would probably extend it later anyway

I'll make it again. Give me a day or so to come up with the plot and such.

And yes you can bring your character over but I need to know who all is planning on doing so.

The premise is that the Government got you out of the first city but had to quarantine you all because they weren't sure if you were contagious or not and until they find out they can't release you into the general populace. So please post on here who wants to transfer their old character and who wants to make a new one.

I don't want my character. I'm a civie. even though I'm pretty screwed when I'm a civie lol.

I'm keeping Tom, and I'd like to keep his platoon. I was thinking of actually developing them as characters. Up to you Mt.

Actually, I want to rename my guy William Carleton and give him rather limited telepathic powers. Seriously. Of course, he is also missing a few bolts up in his skull as well. And he has a traditional sword, of course. But no Berry.

uh...Ahha! I have an idea! use you're guy as part of the experiment that leads to the zombification crap. Say they were trying to create physics and stuff but flipped the wrong mental switch on some people. You were one of the ones to come out lucky :D

OK, that's great! So... Overrun 2 starts out with the zombies spreading to fill up the nation?

or a town in it yes. lol. Was actually thinking about making it so that this one doesn't spread, but the already infected eat whatever they can. lol. And there would be a much higher initial zombie spawn than usual.

who says he's the only one? and yes i was thinking that he sort of communicated with the zombies. not in a talking sense but more like he can sense them coming and sense their thoughts and what not. hence, he's crazy. lol

Just about I would say. You could join a couple other zombie threads or join the Zombie Rp 2 which might start up.

Yeah i thought I would be a little too late lol, but yeah I'll hold out for zombie rp 2 then :)

If it's more than a few months, than I'm gonna make character changes. (Same characters, different attributes like equipment)

The Mt. Id Government discovered the cure but had to release it to save who they could before they knew everything about it. So what they did was drop it and observe. When they went in they found the unconscious survivors and the dead zombies. The airlifted the survivors out of the area and into a secure facility in a different town where they were quarantined for weeks to make sure whatever happened to them wasn't contagious. We pick up somewhere in the middle of that where the people come in and join up.
Makes it easy for new players too because they can say their player was one of the airlifted survivors. lol.

OK, good. But what happens is that they drop the antidote and it kills all of the zombies, as well as knocking out the survivors? How does that work? Does that mean the zombies are gone? Or did some of them escape the city, then?

But what about people like Ziyo, who is part of a foreign military? Holding him would be considered a hostile act, so he would probably be returned.

Because what I wanted to do with him was to put him in charge of a new Kagetorian Special Forces platoon (30 guys) who are trained to specifically fight zombies

well, the only reason we're holding them is to keep them from spreading any possible disease. And the antidote was effective against the zombies and killed them but it also had some unfortunate side effects for the survivors, hence the quarantine of them. And yes, some zombies survived. Mainly a few super Zs. They'll show up again :D.

If you want to you can say your country airlifted him out like Telz did with his guy.
