8o'clock news

"Following several days of martial law, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that they are close to resolving the leadership crisis. As you know, the KGB, assisted by military and militia personnel had stormed the parliament building, after confirming that they intended to sell the country off. Several former members are still unaccounted for, and they are to be apprehended on sight.

Until they have finalized their decisions about possible candidates, the KGB will have full authority over internal and foreign matters. As of tomorrow at noon, there will be a strict 9o'clock curfew, due to recent civil unrest reported in urban areas. This curfew will not effect those living in rural areas, though expect a large increase in patrols."

MVD office, Raccoon City

On the 7th floor conference hall, several high ranking MVD officials, KGB operatives and the local Chief of Police were discussing the new security measures for the city.


"Mr. Irons, your officers, specifically night shift ones, will be working with the MVD tonight to prepare for tomorrows curfew. Due to the likely occurrence of protests, they are to set up checkpoints on all major streets, and prepare for riot suppression. Our OMON forces are stretched thin, so we ask of you to take these measures."


Chief Irons, a heavy set man of 46, asked a question regarding the new plans.

"I can assure you that we have the man power, but we lack squad cars and other means of transport. I do not suppose it would be too much trouble to ask for funding at this time?"

One of the KBG officials replied.



"We'll look into getting your department new squad cars and transport trucks, but that will take a week at least. Most of our car manufacturers were destroyed in the recent conflicts, so they'll have to ordered."

The next morning, most of the country went along it's daily business. The mass transit systems were back, and most places were as if nothing had happened over the past few months. Everything was calm, except for a student union led protest in Chernobyl. For the most part, it was confined to the university grounds; many knew how the special police would react, and with the current state of affairs, there was a chance that they'd be killed if they were to start something serious.

Chernobyl, 6:30PM


The city was in rush hour at the time when the MVD began putting up check points. Because of this, they didn't get done until later then expected. A particular OMON unit, who had just been reassigned to police duty after spending the last few weeks in the mountains fighting rebels was told to report to the location of the protest, which had gotten larger. In a sense, people were sick of the remaining Government, and wanted the KGB to have free open elections and disband.

The protest by now had covered several blocks, and people began flipping cars and burning things. Most of the streets in the area had been barricaded heavily. The OMON unit had relocated to a street of which the barricades were knocked over by a car accident. Immediately, the crowd grew furious with the soldiers, because during the short period of anarchy, in which the media was censor free, the MVD had gained a negative reputation from shooting civilians and rebel prisoners.

Most of the OMON troops were still jumpy from sweeping the mountains, and were quick to aim a the advancing mob. The MVD Major in charge of the unit using a megaphone ordered the crowd to disperse, to little effect. One of the teenagers in the ob threw a brick, knocking one of the OMON troops unconscience, and in return one of the already nervous officers fired a quick burst of AKS-74 fire into the crowd, killing the boy and four others. Enraged by this, the mob attempted to storm the crowd, forcing the major to order his men to open fire on them, which each officer emptying his or her rifle. Within seconds, a total of 28 people lay dead in the street

They didn't know someone was videotaping the whole incident with a digital camera, and quickly uploaded it to the internet.

MVD central headquarters, 7:03PM

The director was talking to the other buildings in the cities, with mixed reports.


"The situation is getting worse, our officers here are stretched thin. How is it on your fronts?"

"Pripyat's calm, nothing going on there."


"Raccoon is rough, but manageable. This city is designed differently from the others, however."

"Naszran is looking nasty, but it's under control. I authorized the police to shoot at will."

"That's unfortunate. Everyone inform your subordinates that once it's after 9, they are to arrest everyone outside. If they do not comply, shoot them."

MVD central office

"They did what!?"........"Well there isn't anything I CAN do. We're stretched thin as it is, so just assign that unit somewhere else."......"I suppose that's a possibility, what's Korshanenko have to say about it?"......"She's still away?"....."Oh."......"Well it's getting pretty bad in Chernobyl right now."......"Seriously? deploy the military?"....."okay"...."yeah."....."Alright, I'll have them lock down the city, and broadcast the evacuation order over the television. The curfew is already enacted, so everyone should be inside by now save for those protesters."


Once the head office heard about the incident involving the shooting, they had quickly reassigned the unit to somewhere else, with the "official" story reporting that it was a gang related shooting. Most phone lines were tied up because of the large number of emergency calls; the riots began spreading elsewhere.

Fires often couldn't be put out immediately, because a chemical plant on the north side of town had went up in flames, which required most of the fire trucks, including ones from nearby towns. Coincidentally this was the reason the MVD was going to use to evacuate Chernobyl, so the "Zachistka" teams could move in and sweep the area of protesters.


At approximately 11pm, the evacuation buses arrived near several large apartment blocks, and were quickly loaded. it would take several trips to vacate this side of town, while similar measures occured in other areas.

By 3am, the "Zachistka" teams were ready. They numbered about 7,000, with the bulk being "Volya" members or military. They wore an odd uniform; it looked like a standard Gorka-S, with the VSR-93 pattern in shades of black. They all were wearing gasmasks due to the chemical blaze as a precaution, carried an assortment of Kalashnikov rifles, and had over 300 BTR-70 APC's, probably which were taken from reserve depots. They were to be deployed heavily in Chernobyl, Naszran, the former[occupied] capital of Kolgujevska; Donets'k, Pripyat, Lipovic, and a small detachment as security in Veblensk[as a precaution; that's where many refugees would be staying until it was safe to return.

"The Romanov North Chemical Plant still bursm however it is reported that it's now containable. Surrounding areas have been evacuated as a precaution due to the highly unstable chemicals manufactured at the north facility.

In other news, fighting between ethnic groups has broken out in the western regions of the country. The MVD has yet to release a statement about it, though we suspect it will be issued within the hour.
[ooc: Basically Yugoslavia in the early 90's. The people there mainly consist of Chechens, Albanians, Yugoslavs and Austrians.]

Civil unrest still is taking place in many cities as we speak, but police and regional OMON forces are containing it."

"Zachistka One, "A" Platoon, this is "B", whats your ETA to the industrial sector, over"

"This is "A", ETA about 3 minutes, are your snipers in place?"

"Affirmative, snipers are in place. We are in position, and will move in once to order is given."


After everyone had arrived in place, they prepared to move in and sweep the central square of human life. The Zachistka teams moved in from different directions, and almost immediately began to open fire indiscriminately. The snipers who had been placed on a roof began picking off people who tried to enter buildings, or entered alleys to escape...


To transport the bodies, they had called in several dozen "death trucks". These trucks would be filled with the dead, and taken to an assigned dumping spot. Normally, they were taken into the mountains, but the tunnel was still in disrepair, so they were taken to the ghost city of Chelyabinsk and dumped there.

The whole thing was reported that they were all killed by a drifting chemical cloud from the nearby fire, though they had no comment on the massive number of shell casings and pockmarked buildings, let alone the bloodstains in the snow.

"Not quite, but even if we did, we have nobody to vote, parliament is in prison or dead."

"Well I doubt allowing the population to vote would be a smart move, and over half of the Generals have gone renegade for the time being. I say we have the party members do it."

"Hmm.. that could work, I'll see how many we can contact at the moment."

"Reconstruction continued in areas hit hardest by the recent fighting, and is expected to be a financial burden."

"Monday's fire at the Romanov North Chemical Plant has been fully extinguished, and safety crews are examining the structures for hidden damage."

"As a result of the Chemical Plant accident, 132 people died during a protest due to a chemical which reacted violently when exposed to nitrogen."

The camera switches to "camera 2", and briefly shows the telepropmter handing the anchorwomen a new paper.

"In other news, the Party has said it will announce a new President tonight during a live broadcast."

For the past few days, KLA[Kolgujev Liberation Army] forces have been exchanging fire with SRCP troops along side light artillery strikes from beyond the Central Bridge.


"Colonel, we've pinpointed the location of their artillery pieces. We can strike it with shells, but using the Grads would inslict a large number of civilian casualties, over."

"Hit them with 152mm shells. Afterward lay an mine field with the Grad launchers."

"Copy. What about the gunships?"

"Have them lay another mine field and strike any targets of opportunity."

"Sporadic fighting is still taking place in the western regions between ethnic minority groups, KLA terrorists and OMON units. As of now, it has claimed dozens of lives. Military units have been deployed to assist the MVD in restoring order to the region."

However, we request that you attempt to keep down the numbers of civillian casualties if possible; although this may seem like a stupid thing to say, it is certainly an important truth that a civillian population you have just bombed will be reluctant to accept your leadership.

Ilfir walked through the command room for the first time in many years, and he turned to his Chief of Staff. "It still looks like a bunker, it's still freezing and it's still got advanced equipment, eh?"

"Yes, my lord."

"I see... What do we have in the area?"

"Sir, we've got one Marine taskforce in those seas."

"Keep it on standby. And get the First Airborne Division ready."

"Welcome to GSRN Nightly News, world. I'm Daniel Chao. Our top story: the USGA government sending troops to Europe to fight the KLA. No, not Kosovo, but the USGA ally Chernobyl-Pripyat. In an earlier statement today, President Schmidt ordered forces in Chernobyl-Pripyat stationed there during its civil war to attack the Kolgujev Liberation Army, a rebel group in Chernobyl-Pripyat. Along with assisting the government troops, the government has also requested the SRCP government to assist in reconstruction after the Romanov North Chemical Plant disaster."

South Kolgujev border

On the eve of the Party's announcement of a new president, operations were prepared to shut the Kolgujev president up for good. After the military had decimated the Kolgujev forces months before, forcing them across the river and shrinking their country. It was generally a humanitarian crisis; the Kolgujevs had little power, almost no drinkable water and shells were fired at them almost daily. They'd sent out several distress signals, but it was unknown if they were even heard. The previous day, their water storage tanks were hit by aircraft, alongside many factories that were suspected of producing ammunition. The Kolgujev president's new office was in Petrovic, set up in city hall.

"All units are accounted for, begin shelling. We will advance in the last minutes of it."

"Copy, sit tight."


Dozens of artillery pieces began firing on the city of Petrovic, regardless of how many civil casualties it may cause. Had they given any prior warning , it would have given the KLA and remaining KNA[Kolgujev National Army] units time to prepare and dig in properly.

The battle was expected to be an apartment block-to-apartment block fight, though they did have a sufficient number of tanks on site. They estimated that the Kolgujevs only had a dozen or so tanks left in service, since most were abandoned at the river crossing. What was expected were T-62's, M84's and possibly a T-80, supported by BTR's and the occasional BMP.


After about an hour of non stop shelling, the forces moved in swiftly, with the T-72BM1's and T-77's as the spearhead. As they saw the last explosion from a shell, which had apparently hit a gas station, the soldiers dismounted and tagged behind the tanks and APC's..

Meanwhile..

Because of the curfew that had been instated recently, people were at home, usually in the common room watching the large TV. The news was reporting the operation in Kolgujevska as a success[though in reality it had begun less then an hour ago], and then suddenly the image switched to the SRCP flag, with the national anthem playing. Many realized that this was the Party's announcement about a new president.

The current chairmen of the Socialist Party, a Mr. Mizin, approached the podium of what looked like it was in a community lot. He talked for a bit about random party related things, then finally got to the point. Much to many peoples surprise, the new President walked on stage. Instantly, people had recognized her as the former president from when the country wasn't a major regional power. President Kotenko gave a short outlining speech of her plans for reforms, and that they'd soon have open elections for parliament. Her advisers were mostly KGB agents, with several in the MVD.

"Kombat, this is Desant 6, 3 is pinned by sniper fire from the factory up the street, we need some armor support over here ASAP"

"Copy 6, BMP is heading your direction"

Once the BMP arrived, it shredded the upper floors of the factory with cannon fire, unsure if they got the enemy sniper. From an adjacent building, a KNA soldier with an RPG-16 fired at the BMP, setting it ablaze. The crew managed to get out before it exploded, though the gunner had suffered heavy injuries. They entered a now-abandoned apartment complex and used it for temporary shelter.

"How are we on ammunition?"

"Drozhd is low, so is Petrenko. I found a stash of Muha's[RPG-18's] in that bathroom."

Suddenly, the squad's marksmen burst into the room.

"Enemy T-62 heading this way, there may be more of them."

"We can take it out, it's main gun can't aim this high, and they can't use the commander's gun without exposing themselves. You three watch for ground troops, me and Hanov will move upstairs and dispose of the tank. The rest of you, keep the place secure."

As they set their plan in motion, they'd noticed that there were a number of KLA rebels riding on the tank. The T-62 had been equiped with slat armor, so the only viable areas to hit were the turret top and the engine block, so they decided on man would shoot at the rebels while the other destroyed the tank. When it was close, the soldier with the Kalashnikov strafed the tank with bullets, while the RPG-18 impacted at the left tread, effectively disabling it. a second RPG hit the turret, killing most of the crew save for the driver. The SRCP squad marksmen located an enemy platoon advancing in their general area, and began picking off their officers and machine gunners .

"Situation report?"

"We've broken through into the eastern part of the city, and we've got them outgunned. 6th company took out the radio communications building, so they won't be able to send any distress signals anymore."

Office of the Premier, Koharian Command Center, Armastreon, Capitol of Koharia

Premier Tyler Conroy was tired and had a headache. He needed a full twelve hours rest, but he couldn't. Not now. He stood up and looked out of the window in his office. He was by no means fit. He was about 220 pounds, but most of it was fat. He knew how to hide it well.

One of the Militis Aeternum captains came in.

"Sir, the situation in Petrovic has taken a turn for the worse. They have started firing artillery shells into a populated area."

"Ah shit. Thank you. Please ready the War Room."

They had been watching Chernobyl-Pripyat for some time now. They had just now crossed the line. Civilian attacks! Premier Conroy couldn't believe it. He set off for the war room.


War Room, Koharian Command Center, Armastreon, Capitol of Koharia

"We need to strike now. We need to help the KLA. They need an ally." stated Martin Koheen, head of the Military.

"We also need to think about the security of our own nation," screamed Marvin Calihorn, Minister of Populace, "if we attack Chernobyl Pripyat, we could be dragged into war."

Throughout the entire conference, Premier Conroy had been quiet. Now it was his turn to speak out.

"Civilian people are being killed. This is in every respect an act of defiance, not only to us, but to every nation in the world. These are innocent people, not tied to any political group or faction. These are parents who trust in their government for protection. These are children who are losing their parents to something they can't control. These are fathers and mothers who have to bury their own children. Families are getting ripped apart. This is oppression at the very deepest levels of the word. We need to protect the KLA. We NEED to."

No one spoke. Normally, Premier Conroy would take his cabinet into advisement. Not this time. He started issuing orders left and right.

"Mr. Feilding(Naval Weapons Commendant), please prep the Corinthian Carrier Strike force. Mr. Goldmeyer(Marine Force Commander), please make ready the 223rd and 118th Battalions and please get me the head of the Militis Aeternum. Mrs. Whitrem(Air Power Corps Commander), please prep every available plane and drop some Immediate Action Corpsmen into Petrovic."

Colonel McGrear prepped his boys. This was a hardy bunch of men. All armed with R6D rifles and heavy bulletproof vests, they jumped out of a perfectly good airplane.

"We need a medic over here, lots of wounded."

"We can't get any medical trucks that deep in the city, are you near your BTR? If so, tell the driver to ferry the wounded back here."


Despite their initial success in taking the outskirts of town, the central areas were heavily contested. The Military would advance a single block at a time, sweeping carefully to watch their flanks.

"Desant 12, this is Desant 13, did HQ say anything about paratroopers dropping in?"

"Dunno, I'll ask. Desant 12 to Kombat, we have sighted what appears to be paratroopers, can you confirm?"

"There's a reinforcing VDV unit inbound via Ka-60 helicopters, but they shouldn't be there for another 15.. Stay alert, possible enemy combatants."

"Copy." The Officer gave the receiver back to the radioman after telling the other squad about the unknown forces, and checked his rifle's current magazine.


"We're going to regroup with 13, then advance on the mechanical works."

The squad maneuvered through the bombed out alleys, occasionally passing groups of civilians until they reached 13.

"Ambassador Jangbu, welcome. Please, be seated."

Dorje, one of the three Elected Ones of Migdou, swept an arm at one of the cushions beside him. His ceremonial robes, layered fabrics of yellow and orange, contrasted oddly with the western-style business suit of his associate. Jangbu was also a full head taller, and Dorje's head was shaven. Nonetheless, an air of comradeship surrounded the two men, who were clearly used to working together. Jangbu took the cushion across from his superior, sitting cross-legged to get as much of him as possible off the hard stone floor.

"Jangbu, I will not lie. What I have seen is disturbing indeed, a situation I wish to see resolved. The nation of Chernobyl-Pripyat is gripped in the throes of war, and their people are suffering for the ambitions of their government. More than heavy taxation or restriction of freedom, men and women are dying in this place. I have given you full authorization to deploy the Medical Corps to the nation to evacuate and care for the civilians caught in the crossfire. You are not, by any means, to open fire on anyone unless the lives of your team, or those you have been sent to protect, are directly and undeservedly threatened. I have sent an advance communication to the government stating our intention, but this will be dangerous. Will you aid these people?"

Jangbu bowed low from his sitting position.

"Elected One, it is my desire and mission to serve Humanity. I will bring an M-Corps emergency deployment team to Chernobyl-Pripyat within seventy-two hours, and will lead the mission personally. If I do not return, it is my wish to be cremated and spread in the high mountains."

A worried look appeared on Dorje's face.

"Do not take risks, Jangbu. I would not see so promising a young man as you go to his death if it can be avoided. Should anything happen to you, you have my word that all will be as you have said. Now, if you are to arrive in time, it is best that you depart. Make haste, Ambassador. People are dying."

The M-Corps are not a combat unit, and carry sidearms for personal protection only. Their objectives consist of providing clean food and water for those displaced by war or disaster, as well as treating the injured and burying the dead.

The deployed unit will arrive within seventy-two hours and immediately begin to attempt to relocate conflict survivors to safe camps, in which they will be nourished and medically treated. These camps should be treated as international enclaves, and any attack on them will be viewed as a reason for war not only for our nation, but for other humanitarian nations around the world. Soldiers from both sides of the conflict, if found alive, will be treated and detained within the camps until the conflict's end. Our goal is to preserve Human life, not to grant extra manpower to either side of the war. We hope that you will understand our motivations and adhere to our requests, as we seek only to help.

"Okay suit up! The bad gys are having a party and you're all invited!," yelled Colonel McGrear over an intercom. His boys laughed like they had just heard the joke. "The Colonel" , as McGrear was known, was about 6 foot 2 inches tall. He could easily bench 500 and he was top student at the IAC College. All of his men were hand-picked from all over Koharia to be the strongest, smartest, most able combatants in the military. They are second only to the Militis Aeternum, the personal gaurds to the president and selected from birth. This elite group of soldiers are supposed to be the first ones in. Their job is to protect an objective until reinforcements arrive. Because of this, they were dropped into the LZ with almost no supplies, only ammuition. They could survive twelve hours of conflict, but need to be reinforced by then.

With this weakness in mind, they set off to find the KLA and kill anyone in their path.

"Sir, the Corinthian Battle Group is on their way and the IAC platoon you just dropped in there has landed safely."

"Thank you, seargent," replied Premier Conroy, "now please draft a telegram to the head of the KLA. Tell them we have dropped troops into the region to protect you. They will be protecting you and your assets until help arrives."

"Yes sir."

'God help them,' Conroy thought. He had been thinking about this for a long time. The Corinthian and her battle group is on its way. That should help in negtiations. 'I hope this gets settled easily.'

To whom this may concern:

[INDENT]This act of aggression against the KLA has to be stopped. We in Koharia do not agree with the tactics used by Chernobyl-Pripyat. We have taken your side for the ensuing battle and are here to help. We have dropped in a platoon of Immediate Action Corps soldiers, who will be trying to protect you until more help arrives. We have also sent a Battle Group into the area. Attached is the list of ships on that roster. Please allow you to help us. Good luck and god speed.

The sniper team, which consisted of 3 men, one with an SVU sniper rifle, the second with the AEK-999 machine gun and the third with an AKM and RPG-16 had taken positions in a former KLA shooting post, which had been cleared earlier.

The spotter was laying next to the sniper, looking through his binoculars, and the machine gunner was on the floor below them.


"Multiple targets closing in, 270. Target the big guy."

The sniper aimed his rifle at the large soldier's upper leg and carefully took a shot.

I can, however arrange for a makeshift airfield to be prepped for your planes, if necessary. This would unfortunately bring them within range of their artillery units, and there's still the risk of them beginning an offensive from the north.

The shot came out of nowhere. A slug burst through Colonel McGrear's leg, immobilizing him. He screamed in agony and grabbed what was left of his leg.
"SNIPERS!!!" someone yelled, almost as an afterthought. The entire platoon dove for cover. Two IAC pulled him to safety.

A young sergeant by the name of Walker took command of the platoon.

"People, the shot came from that building over there." He motioned to an empty building to the left. "Give 'em all you got. Fire on my command and after that, fall back to the sewers. If we can't walk, we will have to swim." Two seconds went by as the platoon situated thier rifles towards the building.

"FIRE!!!!!"

A wall of bullets raced toward the complex.

The lights from the battle group shown brightly on the table as Admiral Jonathan Centola scrutinized the board. It showed all contacts within 400 miles of the ship. He watched for any sign of attack.

A ships mate came in. "10 hours until we reach Chernobyl-Pripyat, sir."

The Admniral grunted. He knew this was going to be a long tour.

After the first shot had crippled the big man, and with the ensuing volley of hostile fire, bullets ripped through the building, ricocheting off of anything available. The spotter was dead, and the sniper wounded. The machine gunner, who was surprised to be unharmed by the returning fire, reposition his gun and let off a few bursts at exposed hostiles before relocating to the second floor.


"AB1 to Fire Base, requesting fire support, over!"

"We copy, what are the coordinates?"

"Have the mortars hit around 17th and Pavlov Prospect, 5 shells, 10m apart, out."

Once the sniper bandaged up his arm, he picked up his rifle and fired at a soldier as he darted from one side of the street to the other. His plan was to wound the man, and pick off anyone who tries to rescue him.

The machine gunner had a similar plan, but would cover a nearby alley, just in case.

President Novachev was busy packing his things; they needed to get to the airstrip before SRCP troops were within range of the complex. They already had stuck the Police station with gunships, and it was burning freely now. His guards entered his room, and notified him the transport was here. It was really just a civilian sedan, but it was to avoid getting strafed by Su-25's. As they were leaving, a 120mm mortar had struck the north wing of the office.

CVN-10 "Corinthian", International waters

"Naval fleet, you are nearing SRCP territorial waters, state intentions, over"

'I guess the cat is out of the bag,' thought Admiral Centola. He had to think of something quick. He could either reply, giving away his intentions, or he could possible just shoot the plane down.

"CVN-15 to DDG-250 and DDG-250A and DDG-250B. This is Admiral Centola. We have bogey inbound at these coordinates." He pressed a button. "To ensure the safety of our battle group, please fire two SA-N-7 missiles each."

A pause. "Roger."

Admiral Centola peered over the expanse of ocean. Three different points of light appeared, one on either side of the carrier and one directly in front., then another. Those were 6 missiles streaking towards an aircraft that did not do anything. But to protect someones freedom, you may have to take some freedoms away.

Sewers under Petrovic

Sergeant Walker puked as he slid into the feces-infested waters under the streets of Petrovic, partly because of the smell and partly because of the thought of Private Wilkins, who is lying in the street, dying. But he couldn't help that. Snipers are in the area and they needed to get to the objective.

"Okay. Mount up. We need to get to the Kolgujev Presidential Building."

"What are you talking about! Wilkins is dying up there! We need to help him!" said one outspoken Private.

"They have snipers! If you would like to go up there and get him. Be my guest."

"Sir, we can do it." said another Private.

"Ah shit. I know." Walker was torn between two objective. He had to get to the presidential building, but he had to get his men out of there, ALL of them. McGrear had long since passed out, but he was semi-stable. "Okay, your right. Anyone who would like to go on a rescue mission, step forward."

Everyone moved forward. Walker had to grin. They all got some balls.

"Okay, you got it. I'll choose. Gamma squad. Mount up. Go get our guy back. Everyone else follow me."

Kolgujev Presidential Building

Walker and his men got there in 10 minutes. A civilian vehicle was sitting in the driveway. They walked up to the door and knocked.

The men walked around in the sewer for a long time until they reached the back of the building where the sniper was held. They climbed out of the sewer and approached the building.

The Tu-95 attempted to bank hard, but most of the missiles impacted. As it began losing altitude, the RTO informed the base before bailing with the others.

They were quick to scramble an anti-shipping mission. A squadron of Su-27PU fighters were loaded up with 2 P-270 "Moskit" anti shipping missiles each, with the remaining hardpoints with R-77 missiles. They took off and moved in on the fleet, firing the P-270's when they had a lock on a ship.

The sniper remained in place, while the Machine GUnner patrolled the building, checking in every few minutes.

While the sniper was watching the wounded man in the street, something caught his eye. A KLA squad was moving on their position from the street. Their medic went to the wounded foreign soldier, but before the wounded could say anything, the medic was cut down.

Multiple shots rang out, as the KLA squad was picked off one by one. Once they were all down, the sniper was out of ammunition, so he swapped rifles with the dead spotter and regrouped with the other soldier.


"They didn't come back."

"Who were you shooting at, then?"

"KLA. How long until we can get back to the main line?"

"They said to hold here at all costs, but the line should reach here in a few hours, at least. What about that wounded commando?"


"They moved the big guy into the sewers, I guess, but the second one is still in the street. I doubt he will last long in the cold. As for the others, they may attempt to flank us, so we need to move whatever we can into defensive positions. Just a thought, they may be coming from behind, there's no way we could see them then."

She had'nt slept in over 3 days, because of all the work that had to be done. She gave the order to mobilize all active units.

"Mobilize our armed forces. Increase the numbers at the Kolgujev border, and make sure the Chelyabinsk district forces are on full alert. Have the Rocket forces on full alert and make sure they watch the skies for enemy aircraft."

As Sir Stephanos hung up his phone, he called in his assistant to take a note.

“Yes sir how can I help you”

“I need you to take a letter down and send it to the government of Koharia and inform them to stop all military action in Chernobyl-Pripyat at once and that we are moving forces in as peacekeepers to broker a ceasefire and keep the peace, and that no actions should be taken to change this course of action.”

“And I need to take another one to the government of Chernobyl-Pripyat to cease all hostile actions at once. “

“Get those out as fast you can, in the clear no encryption.”

Infantry units garrisoned nearby buildings as ordered by their officers, and artillery shells were halted. Armored units fell back to a safe distance and held positions. The reinforcing Motor-Rifle Forces made their way to the front lines and joined the existing troops, while engineering tanks moved rubble into decent cover/shooting positions.

A young person looks at his computer screen of the latest satellite photos take over Chernobyl-Pripyat and smiles, he quickly prints the photos out, places them in a folder marked Top Secret, and runs to Sir, Greco’s office hey knocks on the door.

Greco says, “Yes come in.”

The young man rushes in, hands Greco the folder, and says. “Thought you’d want to see these first from the latest fly over C-P Sir.

Greco responses “Sure hopefully good news?”
“Well I’ll be dammed they stopped, quickly forward these to the PM’s office, we have to move on this fast”

"BOGEYS!! BOGEYS!!! INTERCEPT COURSE!!!"

At this point, Admiral Centola swore. "Okay, you know what to do."

There was a flurry of activity. One officer ordered planes to be fueled and flown. Another communicated to the battle groups 4 Kleefield cruisers, 3 Hollefeuer destroyers, and 3 Vorhegen Frigates. With a combined effort, they shot off 10 missiles, a combination of SA-N-6, SA-N-7, RAM, and ESSM missiles, 100 in all.

The IAC squad approached the building from the back side and slipped in. These men were trained not to make noise. When they were storing their gear, they jumped up and down to check for loose items. They slipped in and checked the first floor.

The squadron or aircraft flew erratically, deploying flares and chaff, but several planes were hit, and were forced to return to base.

The other surviving planes did the same, then they received word of stealth aircraft en route, and prepared to dog fight them.

"Nice, where'd you learn that?" The sniper said as he moved some junk to make some cover that would over watch the stairs, yet wouldn't look too suspicious.

"One of those Spetsnaz guys at base, the new recruits get sabotage and guerrilla warfare training."

They both knew that they probably weren't going to make it out of here alive, but they would attempt to take as many of them with them as possible. They had straightened the pins of their remaining grenades fr quicker throwing, and have had bayonets ready.

Forest road between Petrovic and the airfield


Following the ceasefire order, and knowing that the Kolgujev president has likely going to be evacuated, a company of 60 from the 1st Guards Independent Spetsnaz Brigade, or the "Wolves", were deployed via helicopter between the airfield and Petrovic.

They had plenty of time to dig fighting positions and camouflage them, and bury several 203mm artillery shells in the middle of the road, which would be detonated by remote.

They wanted to catch as many of the enemy alive as possible, however if that wasn't a possibility, there were to be no survivors. The main priority was to capture the Kolgujev President.

The plan was that after the first vehicle gets destroyed by the shells, a volley of RPG's [RPG-16D's, RPG-28's] would be fired at the remaining vehicles wheels or tracks, engine and the turret if applicable. From the trees, sniper's would pick off armed guards while the others would provide suppressing fire and advance by squad.


As they waited, it began to flurry a bit. They would maintain radio silence until they completed their mission, of which they would call in their helicopters

The central square in Petrovic had became a "No-mans-land", and spotlight's were set up to watch for KLA and KNA movements. The SRCP forces in the area had been ordered to hols their positions for 48 hours, then they could continue the advance. Many questioned if this was a wise decision; in that amount of time fortresses could be built. The reinforcing units armor were set to move in a moments notice, alongside the transports. Occasionally, the snipers would pick off an occasional KLA trooper who tried to sneak across the square, and in general any person who had a weapon.

At IIA headquarters the minister of foreign intelligences was looking over the latest intell reports from Chernobyl-Pripyat , he was not happy with what he was reading. Naval engagements and fighting in the cities. He picks up his phone, calls his assistant into his office, and called the deputy minister into his office.

Dam the ceasefire is falling apart fast than it took to put together.

The prime minister sits down behind his computer and starts to type strong statements to be sent to Chernobyl-Pripyat and Koharian about the hostile actions.

At RAFB Castle Folkestone.

General Spartaco Zetticci pulls up at the base and walks over to where his XO was finishing the last of the planning for the deployment. He asks the XO who the hell is in those planes?

“Well sir the first plane is SAS teams and the Forward air support teams, and the second two are IIA’s military hand.”

Gen Zetticci responds, “They took to planes away from my guys?

“No sir they brought their own planes sir.”

As the three c-17 rose into the night sky, the General watched wondering what their mission was.

The soldiers continued to exchange small arms fire with KLA rebels, who garrisoned a multistory housing complex.

"Move the wounded over there!, evac them once the armor arrives."


Shortly after they'd called for help, a BMP-1P and a BTR-80 had arrived behind them. Like most armored vehicles, it was extremely dangerous to stay in one spot, so the second the wounded were inside the BTR, it was off. The BMP moved near the open and waited until the Platoon's commander loaded a tracer magazine and fired at a 4th floor winder, which designated where the gunner was to fire an HE-Frag shell.

After the first shot, they'd set up an NSV machine gun fitted with a night sight, allowing them to hit the rebels without relying on their muzzle flashes. Once the BMP had used all of it's shells on the building, for the most part shooting at randomly picked rooms that enemy fire had previously come from, it had returned to base to rearm.

Right outside of the office, dozens of buses arriving threw the gates, they are the Naval Crew for the Task Force, and couple others are the soldiers whom lived near Fort Song, the rest are arriving by plane.

"How long will the rest of the division will arrive?" said Lee

"We already have 20,000 soldiers arrived, and they are the.....150th Army Division "Red-claw Tigre" and the other is the 110th Army Division "Red Brigade". However, Lee, we have no Intel yet on how we going to land but I believe is going to be by sea. Fortunately, the President is having talks with the neighboring nation about letting the Royal Army to go through their skies to get to CP, hopefully try to trick that its a passenger airliner." said Kien

"Wait, what? Isn't the C.P.'s neighbors are socialist? We cannot just fly through their skies!" protested Lee

"Hey easy for a moment. We can just fly over the waters and get shot down by the CP's and having our men jumping off and drowning at sea. Besides we probably going to use several Boeing 747-8 Vietnam Airlines, just pray that the CP doesn't shut down their airports. Or we will be shot down " said Kien

Lee twitched a bit, he hates the waters, feared from drowning since a child and almost drowned during the intervention of Narceenia. Now faced this again, he hoped that the bloody socialist cannot drown the ship or shoot the plane

We apologize for not being able to speak to President Novachev, but he is currently en route to a safer location. The situation here is degrading rapidly, so we may not get your reply immediately, since we too are going to relocate. Currently enemy numbers in Petrovic is estimated to be Regiment strength, though it has been reinforced since the initial attack. To our north there is a Motor-Rifle Division, and we've heard that paratroopers are scattered around the country side. Our forces are dwindling, and most of our countries fighters are militia units at the present.

As the first three C-17s carrying SF and IIA paramilitary came in lower over the Chernobyl-Pripyat country to avoid as much radar as possible. The word came to the Special Forces commander that the ceasefire had ended and they maybe dropping into a hostile drop zone.

As the ECM and flares started to fire over the drop zone as the rear, ramp doors came down and the first 96 personal, (2 Saber Squadrons) prepared to jump in along with their vehicles. The two planes that followed where carrying 200 of the IIA’s crack paramilitary commandos and there equipment.

The planes rose to just above a 1000ft this would be a low-level jump to keep exposure time down in the air. The vehicles went first followed close behind by the troops.
Minutes later the 10th and the 12th saber squadrons from the 3rd saber Regiment where on the group and taking up positions to setup a perimeter for follow on forces and setup a commander site.

Major Candido DeRose was in command of both squadrons. His men quickly setup a command post and security. The next plan was the kick out Recon teams to see what was going on the battlefield. Two detachments where to make contact with both C-P force commanders and KLA commanders and try to get a ceasefire going again. As of right now the 300 souls where in no man’s land with possible enemy on both sides of them. The next few hours would see.

Lee grabs the airline phone and calls to the Vietnamese Armed Forces Intelligence to talk about landing in Kolgujev.

Spearheading the assault into the center of the city were dozens of tanks, of which were modified extensively for urban combat. The T-72B's on site had slat armor attached, supplementing their K-5 ERA. The T-72BM1,T-80U and T-90 tanks that had reinforced them all had ARENA systems as a standard, so no modifications were required.

Because of the tanks limited gun elevation, up-armored ZSU-23-4's trailed the heavy armor to watch the rooftops and upper floors of the housing complexes.

As the radioman turned of the headset, he leaned over and knocked his fist on the BMP commander's hatch, and told him about the rebels nearby.

Just as the other squad had said, a pair of men with Kolgujev flags wrapped around their heads appeared from between two buildings, one of which had an RPG-29. One of the SRCP soldiers that was riding the BMP closest open fired on the men, killing one and fatally wounding the other. The dying man's last sights were tank treads rolling past, as he desperately reached for his dropped AK-74, which laid just out of reach.

The closest airfield in our territory is close enough to the front lines taht it will surely be overrun within hours, and is already in range of medium range artillery. Alternatively, there are several dirt airfields, but they're quite short, I'm afraid.

"This is 4th squad, we're pinned down by sniper fire from the hospital, we've got several dead and wounded, requesting fire support, over."

The squad couldn't pin point the snip, and was taking cover behind an overturned bus, and the BTR's turret had been heavily damaged by an RPG. Soon, a pair of Ka-65 "Howler" attack helicopters made a pass on the hospital roof and the upper floors with 80mm rockets before moving to support other units in the area. The damaged BTR would transport the casualties back to the rear, and the rest would continue their advance on the city center.

A VDV detachment had begun an assault on a KLA field hospital, with support from a mortar section nearby. The compound was a small poorly guarded half demolished factory, so they were able to move in close before opening fire on the KLA patrols. After a short firefight, which had killed 8 KLA rebels and wounded 3 paratroopers, they'd searched the area and located the pilots from a helicopter that was shot down earlier in the day. Not finding any more friendly captives, they began throwing F1 hand grenades into rooms with wounded rebels, completely clearing the place of life before leaving

(OOC: I'm very sorry I haven't been posting since last sunday. My grandmother just died of cancer and I had to fly out to Kentucky. I haven't been near a computer. I am s sorry for this. I'm probably not going to be on for a while after this, so please just act like I stopped the attack and pulled my forces out. My guys in the building should die with no casualties from you. The missiles were blasted out of the air and maybe I lost a ship or something. Sorry I just can't talk right now.)

"Late last night an OMON patrol unit engaged in a fierce gun battle against the Kolgujev President's personal security at a checkpoint near the border, and captured him alive. 4 Officers were killed in the fight, and 5 more were injured. No survivors were reported among the Presidential Guard. Mikhail Novachev will be detained until a later date where he will face trial..."

The situation inside the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Radictistan was tense to say the least. Twenty men of the Foreign Branch of the Royal Security Police knelt by the windows of the fourth and fifth floors, fully equipped with their Steyr AUG bullpup rifles and Beretta M9 pistols. Each man wore a ballistic helmet and the gray-black tactical uniform of the RSP. Twenty rifles covered the chaotic streets below but remained silent.

Police Captain Pyetr Mullson pulled his cigarette from between his teeth. The usual relaxation provided by the white paper cylinder was not forthcoming. He had never been in a situation even remotely as dangerous and confounding as this one. He envied his comrades who had dealt with the recent riots in Nuxenstat.

"Junior Sergeant Myxel," he said in his firmest command voice.

"Sir?" the noncom answered dutifully as he crept up to his commanding offcer.

"You're in charge for the next ten minutes. I'm going to going to give the Ambassador a SITREP."

"Yes, sir."

Mullson was careful to remain low as he exited the outer room and headed down a flight of stairs to the office of Sir Arthur Urneng, the Radictistanian ambassador to The Soviet Republic of Chernobyl-Pripyat. Sir Arthur was seated behind his desk as usual. His eyes bore the same telltale signs of sleep deprivation as his security officer's.

"Sir Arthur?"

"Good to see you, Captain," Sir Arthur said gravelly. "I take it the situation outside has not improved?"

"No, Sir Arthur," Captain Mullson admitted. "The whole thing's still a massive See-Eff.

Sir Arthur nodded. "Figures. I'll be blunt, Captain: the fact is that we're trapped. The Grand Duchy does not have the force projection to get us out. We have no transport aircraft and no ocean-going ships. Royal Airways could send in one of their aircraft but there's no gurantee it would make it to the airport in one piece. I've been trying to contact the Soviet government but I can no longer be certain who's in charge there." He bit his lip. "I assume our security situation is no better?"

"No, sir," Mullson said quietly. "We have enough ammunition for maybe an hour of full combat. However, it would be all too easy for a large enough mob to simply overwhelm the volume of fire my men can put up. I set up a pair of our nonlethal claymores to cover the lobby but that'll only buy us seconds. I'm sorry."

"Don't be," the Ambassador told him. "You did everything you could with the resources available. We were unprepared from the start."

"Yes, sir," Mullson said with a small sigh. "I'd best be getting back to my post, sir."

Sir Arthur nodded. "Of course, Captain. Godspeed." The RSP officer departed and the Radictistanian diplomat slumped in his chair. He opened one of the desk drawers and leered at the revolver which lay inside. With a heavy sight, he shut the drawer again. Pulling out his cellphone, Sir Arthur set the alarm to go off in half an hour and closed his weary eyes.




OOC: Next week is final weeks and I'm rather behind on a paper so I can't gurantee that I can give this RP the attention it really needs. Since I have an embassy in the country, I felt obligated to pay a visit.

Somewhere near the boarders of Chernobyl-Pripyat and Kolgujev

Lee was talking to Commander Kien, on the phone near the cockpit.

"I understand Sir....What's the report on the Navel fleet? Good, that's good news....I consider the option. Anything else?" said Lee, then he was shocked by the news "Wait....the Kolgujev president got captured?!? Where is his location? Okey Sir..." He hangs up

"Men, the Kolgujev President got captured. We have no Intel of his location, but I am assuming he will be taken to the C-P's Capitol. The naval fleet is at International Waters and is about 10 miles away from the C-P's waters We will....." Lee was interrupted by the Pilot

"SIR!!! SEVERAL BOGEYS APPROACHING!!" yelled the Pilot

"What! Damn. I am assuming they will either shoot us down or escort us out of the country. Men, put on your parachutes, I hoping you remember your lesson on parachutes drops... Pilot take us this co-ordinates, this is a location of an dirt airfield. I am also doubted that you will be shot down if you stay on. Can you do auto-pilot and try to aim crash at the C-P's capitol?" said Lee

"Hmm, by the jet fuel indicators, we could but the planes will be shot down before it reaches there" said the Pilot

"We will do it anyways. Men get to the back of the plane and get ready for the drop, the dirt airfield is about 30 miles away. Pilot tell the news to the other planes" said Lee

"Yes Sir."

The Planes redirected to the dirt airfield and lowered its altitude for a quick and safe drop for the soldiers. The planes are carrying most of Civilians clothing, and if was shot down, the C-P's investigators will be hopefully shocked that they shot down many innocent civilians, the rest of the military equipment will be dropped.

International Waters

"Rear Admiral, we are in position." said the First Mate

"Alright, how is the 747s?" said RA

"They redirected their course for a dirt airfield, they are being followed by the C-Ps fighters"

"Dang it, they are too far for our fighter support, we can distract the fighters....Tell the Captain at the Carrier to launch 3 fighters to bomb the C-P's supply depot. We need to distract the fighters." Said RA

"Yes Sir."


1 hour later

3 HAL-Tejas is launched and is directed to the nearest C-P's supply depot, close enough to be detected by the enemy fighters whom to be chasing down the 747s

Airspace by the 747's

As the MiG's closed in, they attempted to raise radio contact.

"You are flying in restricted airspace, you are to change course at once, and be escorted out of our airspace. Do not descend any lower then your current altitude. Failure to acknowledge this order will result in the downing of your aircraft. Rock your wings if you comply."

All of the fighters took the safeties off of their R-77 missiles and gathered a lock on.

Shortly after, S300 and S400 Anti-Aircraft missiles launched at the fighter jets. A flight of Su-35 aircraft left the airfield to engage any survivors.

"Comrade, riots have started again in Lipovic, should we send a riot unit?"


"I would recommend it, we've also lost ll communications with them, phone lines must be down."

After some preparation, a riot control unit left Chernobyl to pacify Lipovic. A nearby OMON garrison would assist them should they be unable to contain the disorder.

Outskirts of Kolgujevska



Sgt. Katzev's MVD squad had been on patrol for several hours on the outskirts of the small country. The main road to the neighboring nation had to cut through Chernobyl-Pripyat, passing several checkpoints, making travel somewhat slow. Shortly after his smoke break, one of his men had reported a group of 3 Ural trucks heading their direction, so the barricade was dropped. When it arrived, the driver had noticed several soldiers with their rifles at ready, and was urged by the passinger to his left to stop the truck; they didn't have the numbers or the ammunition to fight them this close.

The three trucks had wounded rebel fighters, and was to cross the border to drop them off, and ferry fresh fighters across. Since they were facing a severe shortage of arms, the wounded men's weapons and other equipment were stripped and given to the new arrivals. Between the drivers, they had a pair of pistols and an AKM with less then half a magazine.

As he snapped out of a short daze, with Sgt. Katzev ordering his to open the door and exit the truck, he reluctantly complied.


"What's the the truck?."

He had noticed the bloodstains on the tarp, and several bullet holes in the truck.

"Nothing, just furniture, we're movers.."

"Don't fucking lie!" Katzev yelled, as he struck his nose with the pistol grip of his rifle. The man quickly fell to the floor with his face bleeding heavily.

"Kurylenko, Lyutaev, check the truck. Popov, Matsukovich and Beloi check the others."

As the other MVD soldiers moved to examine the other trucks, Katzev put his boot on the mans head, watching both him and the other man in the truck.


"Commander, looks like we've got some smugglers..."


"sounds like furniture, right?" He then kicked the man in the kidneys.

"Matsu, describe the contraband, please?"

"Lots of wounded people, bullet wounds, burns, shrapnel.. some of them even have KLA flags. Beloi found a rifle, too."

Suddenly, one of the drivers whipped out a small handgun from his waistband, and attempted to take out as many of the MVD soldiers as possible, but was only able to get a single shot off before getting cut down by Kurylenko's AN-94.




Katzev told everybody to regroup on him, then he told them to "liquidate their assets', making a slight joke about the detained mans claim as a mover.

As Katzev walked back to the truck, he let a burst from his AKM into the man, while the remaining drivers were being rounded up by the others. After reaching the vehicle at the rear, he threw a grenade inside, killing the wounded rebels. He would so this to the remaining trucks.

As for the others, after being examined for sights that they were rebels, had a slim chance in hell of ever making it to the authorities, which usually happened to captured rebels.

Bombed-out neighborhood in central Petrovic


Several Spetsnaz detachments had been assigned to spearhead the center of the city from the north, and met less resistance then expected. During the time that they had until the regular forces caught up, they thoroughly swept the area for surviving enemy combatants and weapon stashes.

"Krasny-Zvezda to HQ, objective completed, awaiting further orders. over"

"Copy, helicopters with reinforcements inbound, they will assist you in holding the area until the main offensive line catches up, out."

About 15 minutes later, several Ka-60 helicopters flying just above the rooftops and VDV troopers began fast roping out of the sides, while the 4th chopper dropped several large containers.

Knowing that it was mainly ammunition and other supplies, several Spetsnaz scurried over to their location, eager to open the containers. Aside from the extra 5.45 rounds and PKM belts, there were several RPO tubes, and the base for an 81mm morter. They assumed the other parts must be in the other boxes, and continued to restock their ammo reserves.

As the large formation of escort and cargo, aircraft entered the air space of Chernobyl-Pripyat things got very serious. The commander of the cargo aircraft called up to the escort fighters and support aircraft.

“This is Delta 6 to all support aircraft we are 5 miles to C-P turn the music and if any aircraft is painted or launch is detected I want that SAM site knocked out no matter which side it’s on copy”

“Echo 6 copies”

As the large mass of about 100 aircraft entered, the country ECM/ECCM aircraft started jamming everything from TV to handheld radios. The forward SEAD aircraft drop to about 2000ft from the deck and waited to see if they could get a bite.

The cargo aircraft some 60 aircraft 30 C-17, 15 C-5, 15 Antonow An-124, all heavy with troops and equipment slowly lowered altitude to make the jump into C-P.
The big question on everyone’s mind was who and if they were going to be fired upon.

Shortly after, 6 MiG-31 took off from the nearest airfield and took off in the direction designated at high altitude.

"Unknown aircrafts, Identify immediately."

“Echo 6 this is Jackal 6 have unknown contacts just took off on intercept course can you confirm over?”

“Echo 6 to Eagle eye, Jackal 6 has possible contacts on intercept can you confirm over?”

With that the FB-23s hit their afterburners and raced ahead to make contact with the unknown aircraft.

"This is Black 5, moving to intercept, will attempt radio contact."



The MiG-31 closed in on the approaching aircraft, and attempted to raise radio contact.

As the fighters screamed toward one another

“Jackal 3 to Jackal 6 there not moving sir their weapons are hot sir WTF over?”

“Jackal 6 to Jackal 3 calm down son it’s a scare tactic we do the same thing keep your cool everyone.”

After they had confirmed with HQ about the peacekeepiong operation, they returned to base

"The central areas of Petrovic are encircled, the western parts of the city are under their[rebel] control. We also have their border shut down as of this morning, so they should be running out of supplies soon."

The FB-23s turned and rejoined the formation

“Band 3 to Echo 6 do you want use to shut the music off?”

“No Band 3 keep jamming someone may get a wild hair their ass and fire at us.”

As the cargo aircraft jockeyed for a place the cargo and vehicles would go first and the troops second. Still no word from the SAS on ground.

“Echo 6 to rabbit 6 come in over”

A voice came over the air.

“Echo 6 this Rabbit 6 we read you thought you’d forgot about us”

“ Never Rabbit how the patch over?”

“The DZ is clear for drop its been hard work but we got it done”

“Roger that Rabbit be dropping in about 10 mikes over”
“Copy that 10 mikes we’ll be ready.”

The cargo doors started to open on the equipment planes and the loadmasters made the final checks as the aircraft made the approach on the DZ.

As the planes thundered overhead, an MVD squad was conducting a sweep operation in a nearby town, and was using a nearby abandoned asylum as an internment facility.

From the main office of the facility, they'd set up a command post, and were able to communicate with all nearby units.

"You all heard those planes just now, right?" One of the soldiers inside casually asked over the radio. The town that they were sweeping only had a few suspects, who were currently being detained until an interrogation team arrived.

"Yeah, one of the locals said that they heard saws and stuff last night. Thought they were lumberjacks or something"

A third soldier, using one of the BTR's radio's commented. "It's probably the peacekeepers they were talking about. Out here there aren't exactly a lot of airstrips."

The man back in the asylum agreed, but still wanted someone to check it out.

"Yeah, you're probably right, but check it out once you're done sweeping."

After the village sweep, they'd drive past the suspected clearing and return to camp.

The Radictistan-flagged freighter MV City of Yesting plowed through the water two hundred kilometers off the coast of Chernobyl-Pripyat. Dozens of oversized cargo containers covered the deck of the two hundred and fifty meter vessel.

On the spacious bridge located amidships, the master, Lionel Boyer diverted his attention from the bow of the ship to the powerful surface search radar designed to detect other vessels for collision avoidance at sea. Anxiety cut sharp lines across a face weathered by more than two decades at sea.

"Mind if I join you?" a voice asked from behind.

"Not at all, Colonel," Boyer said without turning. Lieutenant Colonel Francis Milder, commanding officer of 7 Squadron, Royal Radictistan Air Force assumed position to the civillian's right.

"Anything out there?

"No," Boyer told the military officer. "At least, nothing by sea."

Milder nodded. "We can't to afford to squawk with the Hot Shots at this point. If they detect our emissions..."

"I know," cut him off. "I know exactly what I'm getting into."

The two men shared a moment of silence before Boyer tapped at the satellite navigation system.

"It's time for your boys to put on your show. As soon as you're away we'll move to the rendevous point. Godspeed."

Everyone onboard moved quickly. The cargo containers were disassembled, revealing eight Mi-24P assault helicopters and four Ka-52 attack helicopters. The Mi-24s carried no external ordinance beside a pair of drop tanks for extra endurance. Their primary mission would need the extra weight allowance. The Ka-52s also carried drop tanks as well as twelve 9A1472 "Vikhr" laser beam-riding anti-tank missiles. A pair of Tunguska-M1 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun/Missile systems also appeared for air defense. A reinforced rifle platoon from 2 Naval Brigade, the elite rapid response force of the Royal Radictistan Army, took up battle stations around the ship.

The Radicistanian Government had decided that the situation in Chernobyl-Pripyat posed an unacceptable risk for the diplomaic personnel trapped in the Radictistanian Embassy located in the capital city of Lipovic. The City of Yesting and its concealed firepower was a desperate attempt to get them out.

The Ka-52s manned by volunteers from 3 Independent Aviation Regiment, Royal Radictistan Army, lifted off from the deck, followed by the larger Mi-24s a few minutes later. Captain Boyer watched from the bridge of ship and removed his seaman's cap to salute the brave men who may very well have been sent out to die.

“Sir, we got radio contact!” said the pilot “They are saying that they will escort us out of the country, Rock to comply. What we do, Sir?”

“Could they escort us towards Kolgujev….? It’s worth a shot. Here’s the back-plan, I am going to open your tail end hatch and use the Javelin missile…” said Lee

“Sir,….isn’t that suppose to be only for anti-tank. You are going to risk 5 747s carrying barely ½ of one of your division and risking 20 tons of equipment?” said the pilot

“I don’t care, heck, its better than using 300 747s carrying all 40000 men. Anyways, rock your wings and try to head towards Kolgujev, I am going to get someone have the Javelin ready.” Said Lee

The pilot rocked his wings to comply with the enemy fighters and heading towards Kolgujev. The pilot thinks the Lt. Maj is insane about having the Javelin ready and heading towards Kolgujev.

Somewhere above C-Ps

“Rye 1, we have couple of bees coming in” Said Rye 2

“Rye 1 and 2, I detect couple of bogeys tailing us” said rye 3

“Copy that Rye 2 and 3, have your counter-measure ready and time it right. Scramble when bogeys are appear. Mission is to destroy a supply depot, main supplying for the front” said Rye 1

“Copy that” said Rye 2 and 3

As the missile approaches to them, they set off their countermeasures and destroy the missiles. When the enemy fighter/s showed up, the Rye scrambled and try to flank the enemy squadron, with their air-air missiles ready

Somewhere near C-P’s waters

“R.Admiral don’t see any stronghold at that coastline” said the officer

“Hmmmm, we can land all of our divisions to that coast but we don’t know if there’s a trap” said the Commander

“Sir, the VRN Shanh (destroyer) reported no subs in the vicinity, but one is approaching in 3 hours or less.” Said the Officer

“Hmmm, that’s it, we are going in and land, I don’t care if the terrain is bad, we have to land our troops. Sound the alarm and raise the “attack” flag” said the R.Admiral

The Alarm has rung so loud all the ships hears it, and the Captains of every ship saw the flag and put full speed ahead. The whole fleet is charging towards the C-P’s coastline. All crews are in battle-stations, missile and cannon turrets in full operational. The assault landing ship gets all troops and equipment ready, tanks warming up, and assault heli being loaded. It’s just the matter of time, they will be detected somehow, but war isn’t fair anyways….

[ooc: You know that Javalin missiles are completely incapable of hitting a target moving as fast as a fighter jet? let's not discount that it's firing from inside an aircraft and the thing launchers from an angle. Also, there's back blast..]

Air

The pilots had become suspicious of the aircraft they were pursuing. What are the odds that several aircraft from the same company would all enter the same?

They had received direct orders to open fire with cannon fire the second they saw something suspicious.

Meanwhile, the aircraft that had been sent to engage the fighters that had shown up soon were in range, and obtained a lock and fired R77 missiles.


Near the shore

Several Msta-S SPG's and SS-23 launchers were positioned and ready to strike the fleet one it was a little closer. The Msta's would be firing extended range Krasnopol guided munitions, while the SS-23's would fire missiles with High-Explosives.

Once they were in range, they open fired in unison.

Lipovic

Once the riot teams had arrived, they began deploying teargas and firing rubber slugs into the crowd of anarchists. Several had been beaten by response units using heavy clubs, while others were stuck repeatedly with rubber bullets.

meanwhile, an MVD patrol had seen the group of helicopters and reported it. The ground control attempted to raise them on the radio, ordering them to identify themselves or be shot down.

OOC: I suppose it would be. I honestly never thougth of that. I guess I subconsciously assumed that in the midst of as chaotic a warzone as this, at least one side would still be hostile.


Captain Marko Estland heard the warning over the international frequency as his Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopter became feet dry. He activated the mast-mounted anti-air radar and the "Samshite" day/night electro-optical system. His gunner, Captain Mellon scanned the sorrounding area with both systems for any threats while Estland himself answered the call.

"All combatants in Chernobyl-Pripyat: This is Gray One of the Royal Radictistan Army. We have no quarrel, repeat no quarrel, with Chernobyl-Pripyat or any insurgent forces therein. We are on a mission to evacuate diplomatic personnel from the Radictistanian Embassy in Lipovic and will engage in no hostile military action against any combatants. However, we will defend ourselves against any attack with extreme prejudice."

After hearing the radio response, Command sent out a warning to it's unit's in the field telling them about the helicopters en route to Lipovic. At most, the Radictistani helicopters would see an occasional patrol vehicles which consisted of assorted BMP type vehicles.

Meanwhile, the riots in the embassy city were being contained in part thanks to several tanks from a nearby base that had shown up to scare the protesters, effective;y moving them away from foreign embassies.

"Gray One to White One, naked."

"Copy, Gray One, all clear on our end."

Captain Estland glanced at his fuel gauge. "Time to drop tanks," he said. He pushed a button on the control panel causing the two external fuel tanks to fall away. The other Ka-52s followed suit and the Mi-24s did the same a few minutes later.

From the right seat of the helicopter, Captain Mellon continued his survey of the battlespace.

"BMPs on the outskirts. Looks like Main Battle Tanks further in."

"Nothing's targeting us so it should be clear sailing to the embassy," Estland said with relief.

The helicopter group entered the city, careful to remain at altitude to avoid small-arms fire, and within a few minutes they were at the target area.

The Ka-52s began to circle over the facility as the waited for the larger and slower Mi-24s to arrive. The assault helicopters entered a holding pattern nearby. Once the attack helicopter had confirmed that the area was secure, the lead Mi-24 came to a hover directly above the embassy

The lone pararescueman in the passenger compartment spoke through a megaphone to anyone inside who could hear.

"This is the Royal Radictistan Armed Forces. We are here to rescue all employees of the Radictistanian Embassy in Lipovic. Please move to the roof of the building in a quick but orderly fashion."

The roof acess door opened. The first out were a pair of the embassy's guards. Next came the Ambassador and his wife, followed by a host of embassy personnel.

For their primary role of Combat Search and Rescue, each of the Royal Radictistan Air Force's Mi-24P helicopters had been equipped with a two-man rescue harness which could be lowered and raised mechanically. This lifesaving device was now lowered to the embassy roof. The Royal Security Police who guarded the embassy had received extensive training in the use of this equipment. They securely fastened the Ambassador and his wife into the harness and gave the signal to raise them skyward. Five more embassy employees were evacuated into the helicopter as Colonel Milder expertly kept it hovering overhead, which then moved to rejoin the holding pattern.

"Lead helicopter is loaded," Milder radioed. "White Two, your move."

(OOC: Ooo, I saw your factbook and the map, it clears up and refined my geography theme, and I notice the only way for my navy is to go through Drakovian Territory. Am I correct?

[ooc: a fleet could fit through that river, though it'd be pretty dangerous. I do have a small area there as a port and coastal defense sector, however.]

As the huge cargo aircraft approached the drop zone, the crews readied the first drops of equipment and supplies. 30 secs to drop the pilot called over the headsets. At 10sec to drop the pilots counted down as the chutes flew out of the back of the planes when he reached one the chutes open and the tons of equipment slide out the back and into the night.

On the ground, the aircraft could be heard overhead. The SAS soldiers were talking softly to themselves hoping that he pilots where dropping into the drop zone and not on them.

As the chutes deployed the equipment slowed before, slamming into the ground the first pass was over there 15 more passes before the troops started to land. This was going to be along night for everyone.

While the drop was going on everyone was on alert because it is not every day you have this many planes dropping stuff in your back yard and the area had to stay secure.

As the hours passed and it was almost dawn the last few troop transport aircraft were about to drop it has been a long night no sleep for anyone in the air or on the ground. So far, everything had gone well only a few injuries from the jump but nothing life threaten.

OOC: The nation to the south of you that has a coast i would like to ask there premission to deploy in that nation and drive from there coast to C-P. Do you think that is possiable

OOC: Thry used to RP here, but I haven't seen them around for a while. I guess it would be ok to drive a column through, since RPwise you'd have permission.

After the village sweeping operations were done, they drove to the airstrip, where locals said that things were dropping from the sky. They weren't doing anything stealth like; they had the lights on and were chatting. All they were to do is drive past it and confirm that the peacekeepers landed and leave.

The BTR rolled around a bend and halted, with one of the MVD soldiers looking through binoculars at the site.

The officer of the watch called the commander up on the radio.

“OP3 is reporting contact with a BTR at 100 meters from them with no hostile actions seems to be watching the drop over.”

“Roger that send 2 Range Rovers over the check it out and make contact if possible”

"Yurik, what do you think?" one of the men said as he passed the binoculars to the man sitting next to him.

"Nothing much.. They're probably doing the same thing as us. Captain, what are we doing here anyway?."

The captain, who was sitting inside the BTR, climbed out of one of the roof hatches halfway and said: "Locals heard some stuff, we check it out. We're Internal Affairs troops, remember? It's what we do. Any movement?"

Yurik, who had received his binoculars back, continued to scan.

"Just troop movement. They're moving supplies around.... wait... I see some trucks leaving, Range Rovers."

The captain, after adjusting his hood gave a few orders.

"They're probably coming to investigate us. You two act like you checking the engine, in case they ask why we're stopped here. If they have hostile intentions...well, the BTR will take care of them."

“Briar Patch to rabbit 6”

“Go ahead patch this is 6”

“Right sir got to rovers head out now sir”

“Copy that keep me up to date on that, plus pass the grid of that BTR over to the mortar section and have them dial them in if there here to fight nail’em”

“Copy that 6 patch out”

Mean while Rabbit 6 was helping get the LAV30s unpacked and movable just in case there was a fight coming. Only a 1/3 of the vehicles and armor had been unpacked not a good place to be if there is a fight.

On the way out to check out the BTR.

“Cat 2 this Cat 4 over”

“Go cat 4 this is 2”

“Hey you think there here looking for a fight?” “I mean where kinda in the back yard of a nation that hates itself right now I don’t think they wanted guest to their party.”

“How the hell would know or care were here to do a mission and that’s what we do, but to answer your question I don’t think there here to fight just to see what’s up with 3000 plus guys and hundreds of equipment falling from the sky was all about.”

“But hey if we get up here and the shit hits the fan I’ll go up and make contact you’ve got the AT missile on your truck so if shit happens cover my ass ok”

As the Range Rovers closed in, the soldiers continued to idle as if they were legitimately fixing the engine. Two of them men began throwing snowballs at each other just to pass the time. Once they could see the driver, the Captain waved at the Range Rover's, though his AKS-74 was still easily in reach. The men "fixing" the engine continued to look busy.

The commander then shouted [since they were still a distance away]:

"What brings you to the asscrack of this country?"

Cat 4 stopped about 100meters back and Cat 2 made its way up to the BTR and stopped about 25 meters out and the TC and two soldiers got out with their weapons lowered to give a sign that they were not there for trouble but if it started, they were ready.

At cat 2 the gunner made sure the 50 cal was ready.
As the three men approached the BTR on of the guys on the BTR waved and asked the lead guy what brought us here.

“Where 4th brigade of the 91st airborne from the kingdom of Imbrinium on a peace keeping mission to this country.”

“May I ask who you are and what are you doing here?”

“OP3 to Cat 4 Hey keep and eye on those guys I don’t think there track is broken down”

“Roger that OP3, tell use if you see anything from where your at k”

“Check I got your back”

Rick the TC on Cat 4 told his gunner to take the tow off of safe, as he slowly raised his door gun.

“Hey Sgt Cat 4 and OP3 Where just talking about there track my not be broken down Sgt.”

“I know I heard them now shut-up and act like you didn’t hear that info, do not spook these guys ok we don’t know anything about them lets see what we can get out them.”
“You’re the boss”

"I'm Captain Tchepikov, and we're with the MVD's Zachistka unit, we heard from the locals about a disturbance in the area last night, so we came to check out. Kostya over there thought something was wrong with the engine, so we stopped to check it out after seeing what all the racket was about."

A man with an oily rag appeared from behind the BTR and said:

"It was just a few loose bolts making the noise. We cleaned some old leaves out of the engine compartment as well."

The captain then turned back to the peacekeepers.

"Well it seems to me like there's no reason for us to sit here anymore, so we'll be on our way if that's okay with you lot."

“Hey before you go you we’ve got some hot tea back at HQ would you and your soldiers like some before heading back?”

“Besides I think our commander would like you to send a message back with you to your commander”

Back at the HQ they were getting a little edgy from not have heard anything from the units checking out the BTR.

“Briar patch to Cat 2 or 4 come in over”

“This Cat 4 go ahead briar patch”

“Setrep over what the hell are you guys doing out there?”

“Cat 2 is still talking to them over we are in over watch position over”

“Well move things along if possible and get your ass back here”

"No thanks, we have to get back to camp. The suspects inside the APC might freeze. We pulled this thing out of an abandoned reserve dump, so the heater doesn't work."

Inside the APC, one of the troops was communicating with the base.

"Yeah, we checked it out....We're tied up at the moment, some of theirs came to investigate, and we had some engine troubles....KGB arrive yet?.....We'll stop at the checkpoint on the way back and tell them that we need a fuel truck for the gens.....copy, out"

“Hey captain Tchepikov you mind if I take a look inside this thing never seen one up close?”

“You’ve got suspects inside?” “Suspected of what may I ask?”

As the Sgt walked closer to the track running his hands down the side slowly walking to the back of the vehicle. This was a test to see how these guys would react to him getting to close to the suspect inside.

One of the Sgt men came up and said HQ want us to wrap this up if possible.

“In a minute I’m working on something.”

On the Plane

“Lt. Major. I will not willingly to use the Javalin missile to us against the enemy aircraft. It will just miss them, and even so, the probably going to see the hatch open right in front of them, and probably shoot us down. As a suggestion, I believe we should continue going north and go around C-P’s and land in the border of Kolgujevska and (that blue state) then we can just march to Petrovic.” Said the soldier whom contains high experience with heavy weaponery.

“Fine, fine, since you have experience, guess I would take your advice. But landing couple of our troops which is a battalion size in Kolgujevska is risky, because C-Ps probably took the majority of the land. It’s going to be risky. I’ll the pilot about the change of plans” said Lee

Lee went back to the cockpit and told the pilot, and took the radio mic that is connected to the other few 747’s about the news, and told them to just follow. Worrying that C-Ps intelligence may have hacked and eavesdropping on the “failed” encryption. So North they go and immediately try to radio contact with Agroprom Officals that they are neutral and go over another country (blue) and asking for permission to land and march through to Kolgujevska.

Fighters

“Rye 1, Rye 1, the radar shows the fighters, if I’m not mistaken, is locking on to us, with support with ground missile.” Said Rye 2

“Copy that, lock on those fighter, when ready, set countermeasure and engage with R77 missile, head on….” Said Rye 1

“Copy that” said Rye 2 and 3 while setting the missile choice and locking onto the enemy fighter, maneuvered and facing at the enemy and fired its R77 and set countermeasures.

“Too many ground missiles swarming, after launching your missile, retreat to carrier.” Said Rye 1

“Copy that” said Rye 2 and 3

On the Ocean

“Sir, Intel has given us information, the only way of reaching to C-P’s is going through the river, however, the carrier cannot go through it and the sub will be on surface”

“Dang it, the only way to get our troops to go through Drakovian, I have no clue if they are neutral or our enemies…..we going through. By the looks of this map, I see a small installation…wait a minute…..we are approaching to it…..” said R.Admiral Johnson, he took his binoculars and looked over the region where the installation might be located…
“I see some movement, but I cannot tell if they are C-Ps…..wait, I see a flag among the trees, it’s them, but I cannot pin-point where exactly their base is, with little landmarks I cannot tell. Tell the two crusers to use their 5-Inch/54-caliber (Mk 45) and fire along the coastline” said Johnson

“Yes sir” said the Captain, told the communicationist to tell the cruisers to loaded up the cannons

Minutes later, the cruisers fired their rounds (10 shots at different areas)

"I don't see the problem." he said as he hopped of the top of the vehicles, landing in the mud with a faint splash.

"Suspected rebels, mostly." he continued.

"Easy to spot them, most of them have burned hands or bruised shoulders because they usually don't have any fire arms training. Few of them are just coming for questioning, we'll let them go afterwards."

Inside the BTR, were five suspects handcuffed with their hands behind their back, and a sack over their heads

Coast

As the shells impacted in assorted places nearby, with one severly damaging a Msta and destroying a fuel truck, a spotter used a range finder, and adjusted it accordingly. He barked the coordinates to the commander, who then radioed the gunner to open fire. The guns began firing 152mm shells at the largest ships, and once they were ready, several R400 missiles would launch.

"RTB, do not pursue. They're probably returning to a fleet, the outpost confirmed that they're under fire.

As the Sgt looking into the back of the BTR and noticed the Suspects they looked worn out they were cold and somewhat blooded.

“Captain do you mind if I talk to these suspects?”

The Sgt also got on the radio and called up to HQ and Cat 4.
“Briar Patch and Cat4 this is Cat 2 come in”

“Roger Cat 2 we got you what’s up?”

“I need a Medic out here and a couple more hands please.”

“Roger that on it Cat 2, briar patch out”

“Cat4 stay put but keep a Sharp eye on us k”

The Sgt sat down across from one of the suspect and pulled the cover off his head. He looked like he’d been beaten.

"If you can get a word out of them, they don't speak any local languages..." as he counted on his fingers "none of them."

One of the others commented: "Villagers ratted them out, some farmer found them in their cellar."

Tchepikov said as he rubbed his eyes. "KGB's supposed to send us a linguist, but I don't know if they're arriving tonight or tomorrow morning.... either way, they're better off at base then in this thing."

50 miles from the coast of Drakovian a Royal Imbrinium Navy E2 was flying ahead of the fleet to check out the coast.

“Sir I have surface radar contacts moving to the coast and away”

“Roger that I’ll try to make contact”

“To all unknown vessels this is the RIN aircraft fly ahead the RIN fleet sent as peacekeepers to C-P do you copy over?”

“CIC this is Ghost chaser 2 have made contact with surface vessels tried to make radio contact at this time will let you know if we get though out”

As the Sgt looked at the suspects he wondered if the captain as telling the truth. He will know in a minute once the SAS medic gets up here.

Outside two LAV30s pull up and a group of soldiers gets out of the back and start walking toward the BTR tow of them with large bags.

“Cat 2 delta to Cat 2 the medics and friends have arrived”

“Roger that I’m in the back of the BTR” “Do our new friends on the BTR seem nervous or anything when the other guys got here?”

“Don’t know Sgt wasn’t paying attention.”

“What do we pay you for?”

After the LAV had arrived, they got nervous. The radio had came back to life, with the Major at base asking why they aren't back yet, so one of them picked up the set and responded in Russian telling what the Captain had gotten them into, and asked if they had any back up available. The response would say that they did, and they'd send some help, and the KGB people were getting impatient, sine they weren't even field operatives.

A BMP-2 and a BTR-70, both in serviceable condition [these belonged to the MVD units, while many of the things they had at camp were abandoned at there at the start.] would meet up with them after getting the fuel truck from the nearby checkpoint.

"Hey Captain, we don't need to get the fuel, another unit got it, they're gonna be passing through here shortly."

"We really need to get moving. It isn't exactly safe out here at night without an armor escort. We're pretty close to the Kolgujev border, and the rebels like to attack patrols."

The Sgt attention peeked as they tried to hurry up and leave once the armor had arrived. Wondered what was really up.

“Captain there is no need to rush off these guys just came up here with the medic so he didn’t have to walk up here”

The half the guys from the back of the LAVs where SAS that came up with their teammates.

“Good morning I am Sgt Fedro Udinesi of His majesties Special air service I’m the medic that our Sgt called for let have a look at these gentlemen before you leave.” The Sgt spoke to the Captain in Russian

As the Sgt Udinesi walked toward the back of the BTR he looked around and noticed that they BTR crew was getting nervous.

"I'm sorry, I just really hate being out here at night. How about if we hand over the two with the injuries, and we'll leave with the others. We'll drop them off tomorrow after they've been questioned."

One of the others whispered something in his ear. They all knew it was useless, as they already drew enough suspicion. He then responded to Sgt Udinesi:

"Ok, what I'll do is I'll let you examine them quickly, but once the BMP arrives we need to go."

He shouted something at the BTR crew, who then moved the captives out. Some of them moved without issue, but the trio in the back wouldn't move without being dragged and prodded with their AKS-74's


"These three have been a problem, They must have something to hide, since they attempted to flee so quickly once we got to the village. The other two are SRCP citizens; papers and everything."

Sgt Udinesi Spoke Russian to the suspects in the back. Tell them it was going to be ok and that they were there to help.

One the SAS guys walked over, climbed in the BTR, and started looking around not asking just doing what he wanted.

The other SAS members walked up and started talking in Russian to other crewmembers and offered them some MRE’s they had.

The Sgt did not know what was going on at first but figured it out real quick that the SAS guys where stalling for time so that the DOC could talk to the suspects.

Sgt Udinesi kneels down and starts to talk softly to the first suspect with injuries.

“My name is Udinesi I’m here to help you, you can trust me and my friends where here to help you not to hurt you.”

As the doc cleans the blood away to see the degree of the cuts and wounds

One the SAS guys walks over to another soldier with the LAVs and talks to him. Next, the soldier gets on his radio and the LAVs come to life and move toward the road. One parks on one and the other on the other side the BTR is covered and the road is covered.

"Armadillo-3, this is Busdriver, we'll be heading through ETA 15, Leonid got you guys lost, didn't he?" the BMP commander said. "How many rats did you catch?"

The man with the radio set replied: "We found 3, but we're bringing in two others for questioning. Those two, their papers check out. The 3 have no papers, burns and began running the second we rolled into town."





The captive that Udinesi was talking to suddenly began looking around despite the sack over his head.

He said with a thick Romanian-eske accent "Who are you?!.. Where am I now?"

Overhearing him, one of the MVD Privates said "Ahah! Captain, the Sgt. got one of the bastards to talk."

The captive continued to speak. "You don't sound like one of them..... I am not a resistance fighter! I'm a banker, it's those two who are rebels!" he continued, suggesting the other men with similar accents.

"The farmer shot me in the leg when we were fleeing.."

He had a few shot pellets in his left thigh, but the bump on his head definitely was from a rifle stock

Sgt Udinesi listen closely to the suspect knowing he could be telling a lie or the truth.

“How did you get caught up with the other two guys?” Udinesi asked

“Captain I’m going to have to move him over the back of the LAV to get some more light he’s been shot I need to look at it closer.”

As the Udinesi and a soldier help the gentleman over to the LAV a SAS member was called over to talk to the gentleman.

“Sir this is Sgt Gustavo Sabbatini with the SAS he’s going to ask you some questions while I work on you ok”

The Doc a Imbrinium soldier to keep the BTR crew away for a few minutes.

OP5

“OP 5 to Briar patch have possible contacts moving along the road toward the south over”

“Roger that OP5 keep briar patch aware of this contact when you know more”

“Briar patch to Cat 2 you may have company coming so keep sharp out”

“Roger Briar patch”

The Captain said: "If you must." while warming his hands.


After the captive had been asked the question, he replied:

"I was at the town on business, a family there wanted to sell their house. I was walking from the house afterwords when I heard machine gun fire and those two over there and another man ran past and knocked me over into the mud, and my passport must have fallen out of of my coat. A farmer with a shotgun fired in my direction from his house and hit me in the leg. When those paramilitaries or whatever they are came from the direction the three other men came from, they shot one of those guys dead, and one of the soldiers struck me with a rifle. I woke up on the ground next to two others, while they were loading another man in the vehicle, then one of them put a smelly bag over my head and started yelling at me in Russian... I don't know how long I've been in there.. hours at least. The one soldier is right, about those two. They don't speak a language I know."


Meanwhile, the supply column had stopped not to far away, after seeing one of the LAV's.

"Armadillo, what's going on over there? Tell those guys to move, we need to get back to base."

Four men emerged from the BMP, one of which was MVD Major Puzantsev. They approached the roadblock with their weapons at ease, but still ready. These MVD commandos clearly looked more "official" then Tchepikov's unit, wearing matching uniforms as opposed to random sets of camouflage.

Once he arrived at the block, he asked what the hold up was.

"White Eight, we're initiating recovery operations." The final Mi-24 positioned itself over the embassy roof and lowered its rescue harness. The attack helicopters up above kept up their vigil. The streets were quiet now. The SRCP's security forces had done a good job driving the unruly mob away from the foreign legations. Still, it didn't hurt to be cautious. A few SA-7s pilfered from a government armory could ruin the entire operation.

The last ones off the roof of the embassy were members of the Royal Security Police contigent responsible for security. The fine building which had housed the Radictistani legation was now left to the mercy of the elements and the populace.

The helicopters egressed toward the sea. The Mi-24s, now heavily-laden with embassy personnel, were in more need of protection than ever.

"Remember," Captain Estland radioed on the all-ship frequency. "Anyone who shoots gets a Vikhr between the eyes." Acknowlegments flooded in.

The airborne task group went on its way home.

Petrovic


As the Kolgujev Military units attempted to hold several positions, one being the rail station, they soon realized that they were under attack from 3 different fronts.For them to get reinforcements to the eastern front was difficult, due to the pair of Mi-28's circling the combat site, striking convoys. The North had an unknown number of Spetsnaz commandos wearing motor-rifle insignias, but they knew it wasn't so because of the differences in tactics.

The KNA had a operations base set in the old machinery works on the outskirts of town, along with several M84 and T-62 tanks. They realized that they couldn't take back the city, so the KNA would fall back to a different position. The KLA rebels, however, would continue to stay and fight in the city.The city was expected to be taken within 15 hours, then sweeping operations would take place to clear the remaining rebels and KNA soldiers that couldn't fall back with the rest of their units.

All combat forces on all sides will hold a ceasefire and a curfew will be infect starting at nightfall and ending at sunrise. All forces KLA, KNA, Chernobyl government troops will move out of the city of Petrovic. This city will be a safe zone until further notice the 4th of the 91st airborne will be moving there today and a second brigade will be sent today. International aid groups will also be sent into Petrovic. If this ceasefire does not hold and forces, continue to fight the Imbrinium Government will be forced to use force on both sides.

THE DROP ZONE:
The sun was coming up at the Drop zone and more internal security personal where starting to showing up.

Sgt Udinesi stated that the suspects should stay under the control of Imbrinium forces till everything could be straighten out on who was who. He knew the MUD troops would not agree but shit happens.

Sgt Udinesi got on the radio and asked his higher.

“Kilo 11 this Kilo 61 request you meet me up at the road over”

“Kilo 61 is there a problem?”

“Kilo 11 not yet, but I sure there is going to be some over”

“Roger Kilo 61 be there in 5 mikes out”

Sgt Udinesi told one of his team mates to stall till their commander got there.

“Briar Patch to Cat 2 sitrep over”

“Briar patch where just kinda hang out waiting on who shoots first I think the SAS guys are up to something but not for sure.”

“Roger that keep us up to date”

“OH Cat 2 we’ll be breaking camp in about 2 hours copy.”

“Yeah I copy”

One of the Team Sgt walks up to the MVD commander and tell him in Russian.

“Sir you will have to wait till we are done here or find another route to where you are going”

All of the Joint Strike Forces in Chernobyl-Pripyat are to obey the cease-fire brought upon the KNA and CP forces. Order the regiments in the region to stop moving towards Petrovic due to the declaration of a safe zone and the presence of Imbrinium forces. This is a direct order.

"We cannot do that, this is the only road heading to where we're going. What's the problem here anyway?"

As he spoke to the officer that had confronted him, he had noticed one of the MVD men from the sweeping squad was arguing with another foreign soldier.


"You have no jurisdiction concerning internal affairs in Chernobyl-Pripyat! If we were in Kolgujevska, it'd be a different matter, but their border is 3 kilometers away. You can keep the layer or whatever he claims to be, but the others need to come with us. The two over there, we've already kept them longer then we were supposed to, since they're just witnesses to what those guys were doing."

After word of another ceasefire had spread, an Air Assault force deployed by helicopter at the train station to take control. The last of the Kolgujev military had pulled out less then an hour before, so there were still signs of life in the buildings; trashcan fires were still lit, with ration tins scattered around them, the makeshift medical bay still had power, and there still was a body on one of the gurneys. The tracks were relatively unscathed by the rocket attack the day before, and a train still remained there with T-72M1 tanks still on the cars ready to be unloaded.

In the city, knowing the rebels would reoccupy positions after they pulled back, left a number of mines in those positions. As opposed pulling back to the border, they would relocate to the train yard which was now the new forward operations base. It sat to the north of Petrovic, just out of city limits so it technically obayed the ceasefire demands

THE DROP ZONE:

Major Candido DeRose pulled up and asked.

“What seems to be the problem here?”

As Sgt Udinesi expanded about the suspects and there injuries, and the unwillingness of the MVD to give them over to us for medical treatment. Maj Derose walked over MVD commander.

“Are these men under your Command?”

“Because if they are and we find out that they have acted against these persons human rights you will be held accountable.” “Do you understand?”

Maj Derose walked over to the TC of the LAVs open the road back up we need these folks out of our way when we move out. Then the LAVs started up and moved off the road so that the MVD could leave. The Major walked slowly over to the MVD commander and spoke in Russian.

“Will you give these gentlemen up to us or not?” “If you do not and I find out that you and your men comment any crime against anyone around here I will personally find you and bring you down!” “Do you understand comrade commander?”

The Major replied: "Tchepikov and his lot? They're GRU Spetsnaz, or something. Military Intelligence, The only ones directly under my command would be the APC crew. Tchepikov's men have their own base somewhere, they leave from ours, most of the time with the enemy combatants. They wouldn't take them if they didn't have a reason, believe me."

He looked over at the group near the APC.


"This morning, before they rounded up those men he said one of the rebels they already had cracked, and that he needed an APC, preferable one that had a lot of hours on it. We pulled that one over there out of a scrapyard and dropped in an engine, gave it to them. I'll talk to him, see what I can do."


He returned a few minutes later, and said:

"You've got your men now, save for the two civvies, we're supposed to drop them off at the next town, but he advises the neither of us interfere in their operations in the future."

He then returned to his BMP with the other MVD officers, while Tchepikov and his men boarded the MVD's BTR, preferring to abandon the other at the advice of the driver/mechanic

OOC: Does the city of Petrovic have a airport? and if so who's forces are holding it?

DROP ZONE:

Maj Derose walked over to Sgt Udinesi.

“Sgt get these men in a LAV and work on them I’ll send an Intell guy over to debrief them.”

“Roger that Sir”

The major walked back to his rover and headed back to the HQ. Three fourths of the brigade was lining up to head to Petrovic the others would be jumping into Petrovic to secure the airfield for the second and now third brigades to help secure the area. The Drop zone was some 40 miles away from the out skirts Petrovic.

The commander came over the radio

“This is Rabbit 6 will be moving out in 10 minutes.”

100 MILES FROM THE DRAKOVIAN COAST:

“CIC to commander please report to the CIC”

The message came over the loud speaker though out the ship. As the commander just sat down in the mess hall with a cup of coffee.

“Dam I never get to enjoy my mornings anymore”

As the Commander got up and walked out of the mess and headed to the CIC.

“Good morning Commander” A captain greeted him
coming into the CIC.

A middle aged man leaning over a big tactical screen drinking his cup of coffee said:

“Good morning sir would you like a cup before I start?”

“Yes please Straight up please nothing in it.”

“Aya Sir”

“Well sir where about 100 miles from the coast and 4th brigade is moving to Petrovic where it will meet up with the rest of its troops and two other brigades.” “We will make port here and start unloading the Drakovian military is loaning us the tank transports so we don’t have to drive and also we’ve rented buses to carry a bulk of our troops too.”

The Commander replied: “Ok What’s the bad news?”

“Well sir the MPF ( Maritime Preposition Force ) won’t be here for another 2 to 3 days and the Litoral patrol Squadron is running 4 day behind that.”

“Well we’ll have to do what we have to do.” The Commander stated.

“If we have to we’ll use landing craft to take supplies up river”

Above the skies; Entering Agroprom

“Pilot, once we enter the Agroprom Airspace, radio contact their ground control to not attack, tell them we are trying to get to Kolgujevska, got it?” Said Lee

“Yes sir, radio contact transmission in 5 minutes” said the Pilot

Few minutes later, they entered Agroprom Airspace. Radio contact is established to the ground control.

“Hello, this is…Pilot Lee,…. We are wishing to go over your nation and crossing your borders between you and the blue country, we are trying to get to Kolgujevska but are unable to land. Allow us to go over you.” Said Lee

Off the coast of Drakovian, near the river entrance

“Sir, we have bombarded their location, but we are not absolutely sure if we nailed them all, by looking at it, I am assuming we destroy 2 something. But I pretty sure the treat is not over. Proceed to enter the river in high alert?” said the Captain

“Yes, have the have the remaining ships that can able to go through load up their cannons and on alert” said Johnson

Suddenly, a blimp pops up on the radar. And there was a weak radio contact

“Sir, we have something approaching from behind. By our military records, its appears to be the RIN. If I can adjust the frequency we should…..there…here’s the message” Said the Radar Specialist


“To all unknown vessels this is the RIN aircraft fly ahead the RIN fleet sent as peacekeepers to C-P do you copy over?”


“Hmmmm, tell them we confirm their neutrality and acts as peacekeepers” said Johnson, acting a bit suspicious. “Have the anti-air ready for just incase, but tell them do not fire. Their navy is probably not far behind”

“Aye, R.Admiral” said the Radio Spec, until he got a message from the HQ “uhhh sir, we have a message from HQ, it said that the Kingdom of Imbrinium is asking for ceasefire, in Petrovic and demand all C-P’s to move out of the city, considering it a safe zone.”

“Tell the pilot of RIN whom is approaching and tell them we trying to get our troops to Kolgujevska, but it is impossible because its inland.” Said Johnson

“Copy that” said the Radar Spec. tell the communicationist to establish communication with the pilot of RIN

“This is Vietnam Imperial Navy, we copy your peacekeeping and neutrality with us, we are in the mission to resolve and aid the Kolgujevska nation, we have 2 division troops on our ships. We got your nation’s message of a ceasefire, we will agree on those terms, and if you can allow our troops to get to Kolgujevska, we are hoping to aid your peacekeeping troops.”

“Incoming R400 missile, and we taking shell damage!” Over the radio from one of the ships

“Dang it!....Trace that R400 missile!!! And tell the destroyer (Tran Sun) to launch 1 RIM-162 ESSM. For the shell fire, tell the cruisers to locate and fire their cannons.” Said Johnson

ONBOARD THE HMS BUNKER HILL FLAPSHIP:

A radio tech I have a radio contact bearing 12 o’clock. And almost at the same time a radar tech got multiple targets and vampires (missiles and shells) being fired at one another.

The commander stood up from the TAC board sound general quarters.

The alarm sounded and the broadcast for full alert went to all the ships in the fleet.

“Now here this set condition 1 throughout the fleet set condition 1 throughout the fleet this is not a drill”

The men hurried to their stations and readied their weapons stations. Throughout the fleet, the same thing was going on.

“Now get me in touch with those ships” The commander said

“Aye Sir”

“Unknown Ships this is the Royal Imbrinium Navy we copy you radio traffic please state you intentions over”

The commander stated, “Get the ready alert up and the alert 5 up now, and have the CAP fly out to within 25 miles of the contacts.”

Coastal battery

"Damage assessment?"

"We hit one of their ships, unknown damage. They hit several of our buildings and a towed piece."

"Relocate to a different position, then fire the Krasnopols. We've got some men near the shore with target designators."

They radioed sent an encrypted message that an enemy fleet was entering the river. Once it was inside, several X-02A stealth fighters would engage them with FAB-500 bombs and target the water line of the largest ships and the deck of the aircraft carrier.

Near the Kolgujev border


Over night an unknown number of KLA rebels had ambushed an MVD patrol and captured several soldiers, with the rest being killed in the attack. Two squads of VDV troopers, with a third squad consisting of Spetsnaz personnel were conducting a rescue operation. The two BTR-80 and single BMP-3 rolled through the mud and snow passing the charred remains of what appeared to have been a BMP, and the black stains in the snow that could have been blood. One of the paratroopers leaned over to one of the newer recruits and said "We're the first ones to pass here since early this morning, when they came to get the bodies."


The town wasn't too far away, and it laid just on the border.

"Nobody use the radio, they can listen in easily. Got it? good. The Spetsnaz guys are going to move in from the north and grab their attention, and we'll storm them from the south and east. Everybody get into position."


Most of the rebels were sleeping still, but a few patrols were spotted in and around the city. Near the edge, they say some police cruisers that looked pretty shot up, and several mounds of dirt near by in a field. That's probably where the non-Koljujev inhabitants of the village ended up.

The paratroopers heard the report from the BMP's main gun, and an explosion ripped through the town's center taking out a few tents and a radioset. At that moment, the BTR's sped forward, pouring rounds into the startled patrols. The Spetsnaz commandos emerged from the ditches they were laying in and entered some buildings, sweeping for rebels and looking for the captured soldiers. After the VDV had dismounted their vehicles they did the same. The first building had nothing but rebels inside, who were still preparing for battle. They were all gunned down en mass.

A sniper using shooting from the window of a small house, after picking off 3 paratroopers was torn in half by returning fire from the squads BTR.

After sweeping the town, they'd located two of the five that were captured, and from what they learned, they had been taken to the main resistance base. Before they left, they grabbed their casualties and put a surviving, but wounded rebel on a mine. They didn't know how they would get the other captive back, or any others that there may be since the rebel bases location wasn't known at the moment. They also had to deal with the peace keepers, who would surely soon begin patrols..

"Colonel, the helicopters are leaving from Lipovic, leaving airspace"

A patrolling Mi-24P spotted the aircraft, but was ordered to ignore it. The pilot continued flying along the southern border.

The Radictistani helicopters reached the coast without incident. Tired and low on fuel, the Army and Air Force pilots were relieved to see the City of Yesting come into view at the rendevous point as promised. The Mi-24s with their valuable human cargoes landed first, the ambassador being greeted with an honor guard of merchant seamen and soldiers from 2 Naval Brigade. The attack helicopters came down as soon as they could and immediately began refueling in case it became necessary to scramble in defense of the getaway freighter.

On the bridge, Captain Boyer ordered the engine room to make as many revolutions as possible. The ship's powerful diesel engines increased the depth of their drone and the ship turned south toward home. Every eye turned skyward as the great ship began its cruise.

While the ceasefire had taken effect in Petrovic, ceasing combat between SRCP forces and the KNA, KLA rebels still attempted to take lost positions in the city. Because of the mines left in those locations, they had taken a number of losses.


Aside from the forces currently garrisoned at the train yard, Several companies of paratroopers and special forces were scattered around the country to ambush the KNA forces as they regrouped. One of their military trains that had left the station before it was occupied had been derailed, killing approximately 133 KNA soldiers and damaged a lot of equipment.

Elsewhere, a convoy had been strafed by a passing Su-39, stalling a counter attack on a vital bridge the SRCP forces had control over, allowing reinforcing T-80UD's to get onsite before the KNA arrived. The KNA had lost a dozen BMP and BTR IFV's, the entire attacking infantry force and the supporting M84 tanks.

The KNA, however, had their strings of success. They had shot down 1 Mi-24PN gunship and 3 Ka-50's in the past 27 hours, along side a relatively successful attack on an SRCP position.

The President has ordered all USGA forces to refrain from interference in the operations of SRCP, RIN, Radicistan, and VE forces operations. Though our government is friendly to both Imbrinium and Chernobyl-Pripyat, we are to stay at our base in Lipovic until given the green light by either nation to engage in battle.

As the state and international reports sit talking to each other waiting for press release about the current military operations in Chernobyl-Pripyat.
The deputy minister walks out and stands behind the podium.

“Ladies and gentlemen the prime minister will be coming out in just a minute to make a brief statement there will be no answering of questions just yet but I will be taking questions later this afternoon.”

The prime minister walks out and shakes the deputy primes ministers hand before taking his spot behind the podium.

“Ladies and gentlemen I will be brief here”

“Nearly 48hrs ago Imbrinium Special Forces and airborne units jumped into Chernobyl-Pripyat as part of a massive peacekeeping mission. This was just the first of a massive air lift where almost 350 cargo aircraft and hundreds of support aircraft are carrying military and humanitarian relief personal and cargo to this nation. This is Imbrinium’s largest airlift mission in its history. The mission is also a join mission using some form of all of our armed forces. Our navy along with a marine division is unloading at this time in a friendly country and will be making its way to the area. Along with many other support vessels. The size of our force in SRCP is the size of a brigade but could grow up to 63,000 if needed. With 2 full divisions. There have been no Imbrinium injuries and no word of any combat. I would like to take this time to make a formal request for international help in a both troops and humanitarian aid. A ceasefire is in place but small skirmishes are still ongoing. Our commanders hope to put a stop to that within a couple of days.
This is what our plan is for the area:

1. Secure a ceasefire
2. Create a buffer zone of 25 miles between both KNA and SRCP forces.
3. There will be a 50 mile no fly zone over the buffer zone.
4. Sweeps will be conducted to secure the buffer zone of all rebels and SRCP forces.
5. Any use of long range weapons against either side will face a counter attack from our forces to destroy what weapon was used.

Peace will come to this nation and both sides will come to the table and talk. If war crimes have been commented on either side punishment will be harsh. That’s all I have for now questions will be answered later. Thank you.”

And with that the Prime minister walks off the stage and to his office.

In the trainyard, they heard over old television sets the Press Release from the Imbrinium Prime Minister.

While the Kolgujev military had been pushed out of the city, after the ceaefire rebels flooded back into the city. The SRCP forces regularly took SPG-9 fire from apartment blocks and light mortar fire, most of which fell short of the train yard. Many of the soldiers were annoyed that the T-90 tanks on site would fire on the suspected positions without warning, while a sniper occasionally would take a few shots at rebels on rooftops.


The commander of the entire operation, a General Sidorenko, looked over field reports while listening to a radioset. After some time, a semi-cracked transmission came through.

He picked up the transponder and replied.

"Have you reached the border town yet?.... Tanks in place and everything?.. What?... ok, put Daskal on the radio... Daskal, are the men ready?"

[I]"Yes, but we're low on ammunition for the tanks. The rebels shot the town up pretty good, we saw a bunch of people leaving on the way here. Would it be too much to request some Grad launchers or gunship support?"

General Sidorenko looked over at a female Colonel, who shrugged.

"I'm not sure about the Grads, they were sent back on a train, but we can send a supply chopper before you begin the attack. You'll want HE-Frag shells, correct? I hope so, we've got more of those here then others. If you need something else, radio the supply base. As for gunships.. I can arrange for that, we've got some of the new Howlers over here."

"Copy, we'll stall until the helicopter drops the ammunition for us. Daskal out"

CITY LIMITS OF PETROVIC:

The airborne and the Special Forces had moved into the first few blocks of the city. They stopped for a break and find the best way to the airport.

“Sir this city looks like its seen better days”

“Yes son it sure has, let’s just hope the there anybody here left to save.”

“Sir the air drop aircraft are an hour out”

“Well we may make there before that”

As the column loaded back up and started the move through the city block by block.

35,000FT ABOVE THE COUNTRY:

A RIAF command and control aircraft circles over the country looking for fighting and aircraft.

“This is looking glass 34 to Rabbit 6 over.”

“Go for Rabbit 6”

“This is looking glass 34 I’ve got Helios and fighting near the border over”

“Looking glass 34 we cannot intervene at this time we haven’t made it to the airport yet”

“Roger I’ll get some air support to intercept”

With that looking glass radioed two B-1R on patrol.

“Looking glass 34 to king 2 and 3 we need to task to intercept Helios headed to the border over”

“King 2 to looking glass 34 roger moving to intercept”

With that the 2 B-1R moved to intercept at full speed.

PETROVIC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

The first of the cargo aircraft with airborne was on the final approach to the airport. The load master told the troopers to get ready to jump in 2 minutes.

“2 minutes to Drop zone and you will be going in hot DZ not secured”

One of the paratroopers yelled “Ho shit no ground support?” “Fuck me”

The doors opened and everyone made there last checks before jumping.
Loadmaster “GO GO GO”

And with that the paratroopers started out the door above the airport.

Uzletvets [Border Town]

The group of armor sat outside of RPG range, while the crews and the Officer in charge surveyed the situation.


"The rebels put themselves on the higher levels of the buildings so we couldn't hit them with the tanks, and it's too risky to move in the BMP's."

"What about the gunships?"

"They were deployed somewhere else, at best they could make a pass and hit the rooftops with cannon fire an-."

A soldier emerged from the radio truck and interrupted them after he'd heard some news.

"GHQ said to hold off the assault, an MVD S.R.T. unit is inbound, and everyone but the tanks is to return to the base, Direct Orders."

They turned east and saw through binoculars a group of BTR-80 APC's moving down a road with a few ambulance modified BMP's.

Meanwhile, the mentioned gunships had been assigned to patrol the border and strike a rebel convoy that was moving through the area. After the gunships were spotted, the rebels began firing their BTR's KPV machine guns at them. The pilots laughed and began staffing the column with 30mm cannon fire and rockets. Within minutes, the column was reduced to a line of burning vehicles.

"Howler 3 to base, targets destroyed, Returning to base, over."

Near Uzletvets:

The two RIAF B-1Rs where about 5,000ft and mach 1.5.

“King 2 to King 3 I’ve got ground targets to the south how copy?”

“Roger king 2 got’em too.”

Looking glass 34 calls over the radio.

“I have gunships moving away from the border they just attacked a convey over”

“This king 2 copy looking glass 34 you pick targets over.”

“Looking glass 34 to King 2 split up and take both over.”

“Roger can do, you copy king 3?”

“Roger that king 2 see you back at the barn”

With that king 3 peeled left and headed to intercept the gunships. As king 2 lower his speed for a low level fly over to scare the ground forces and call them over the radio.

Meanwhile the first troops hit the ground at the Petrovic Airport and started to secure the buildings where they found civilians hiding from SRCP troops.

The armored convey moved slowly through the streets only a few miles from the airport and still hadn’t seen a soul.

Near Drakovian

With continuous firefight with the enemy at Drakovian shores, with some damages to the ships, and one ship lost its secondary turrets with direct fire from the shells, only 5 sailors are lost while 34 are injured.

“What’s the damage?” said Johnson

“Some of our vessels are experiencing fires and one of the ships got a close call from a shell hitting the Bridge” said the 1st Mate

“Sir we bombarded their area, and as of now, no reports on the coastline. As a suggestion sir, I believe we should get permission Drakovian Government to pass through their lands to get to CP. It’s the safest way to do so, than losing the whole fleet, reason for that is we have no clue how big is CP naval is, especially if they are still in Ceres Sea, and we might get a surprise attack in the river. I don’t think the ceasefire will last” Said someone

“That’s probably the only way….Fine, Communication spec. contact to HQ to ask the Drakovian Government for permission to go through their lands.” said Johnson

“Yes sir, also we have a radio contact from an unknown navy. By the looks of this issue, I am assuming it’s the RIN. They asking our intention sir.” Said the comm. Handing him the radio headset and started to do an encrypted message to HQ.


“Hello, this is the Vietnam Royal Navy, Vice Admiral Johnson in charge of this fleet. We are trying to get to Kolgujevska, also we have several 747s trying to get and drop our some of our troops in Petrovic but has been compromised, but they are probably trying to get in again. We are military aid to Kolgujevska and we have heard of your ceasefire message.

As for now, I am going to drop all 2 division with military equipments on Drakovian if they approved so and sent them to Kolgujevska” said Johnson to the RIN

Meanwhile, the navy is still experiencing shelling, and while firing their own weapons, the submarine opens 1 of its missile bay doors and fueling its missiles (not WMD)

Above somewhere in the skies

The 747s are now exiting the Agroprom and entering the blue state

“Sir, this came in, a cease fire at Kolgujevska issued by the Imbrinium, HQ wants us to drop all our troops near Petrovic city limits. They also said that they will pay for 747’s destruction if it happens. I am not sure if the ceasefire is only between Imbrinium and CP, but if someone shoots at use, then we will know” said the pilot

“Crap….guess we going back in….” said Lee

"We could enter the adjacent building and shoot them from there, but we have no information if they've got shooters in there as well."

"How many fighters in total?"

"Army said about 20, give or take a few. There can't be any more then 40, though. The town comprises of 5 small housing complexes, each could house about 150 people, then the rest are small shops and houses. We can't move the armor support into the fields because of the snow."

Meanwhile, they heard a deep rumbling that seemed to get closer, like a aircraft... One that had just all the sudden zipped overhead.

"HQ, we've got birds in the area, can you confirm, over"

In the few passable streets of Petrovic, people who'd taken shelter inside basements slowly left their shelters to evacuate the city, in case shells and rockets were launched again. Medical Services were busy removing the dead and wounded from the streets and buildings, though there wasn't a hospital left to take them to.

Some children played near a destroyed T-72, while in another part of the city a man accidentally set off an unexploded Grad rocket..

With that, seven guided munitions screamed through the air to impact with the hull of the sub.

Above Uzletvets:

AS king2 passed low ovwer the border town and SRCP units outside the town.

"Well i guess everyone is awake now down there lets make one more pass a bit lower and we'll shoot off some flares as we pass between the town and SRCP units."

As king 2 came in lower and faster than before. the B-1R was about 300ft off the ground at about 1.5 mach as they passed between rebels and SRCP units they shot off flares. knowing the sonic boom at such a low level would shock even the most seasoned soldiers.

King 2 called SRCP units on the radio.

"To SRCP units operating outside the town of Uzletvets this is King 2 of the RIAF, please Remove your forces for this field of battle and return to your bases. Or we will use force to."

Meanwhile on the border:

King 3 was about to intercept the gunships. King 3 was moving about mach 2 when she buzed between the gunships.

"That should wake them up if the jet wash doesn't take them down"

"To the SRCP gunships this is King 3 with the RIAF return to your base a once. If you do not comply will be forced to take other options to bring you down!"

Petrovic:
The 4th brigade of the 91st airborne was pulling in to the airport to help setup a base of operations.

After the command BTR had received the radio transmission, they replied;

"You have no authority in SRCP territory, or in police operations. We currently have a situation that needs to be resolved soon as opposed to whenever you seen to want it done."


The units on site aside from the tanks were MVD S.R.T. units, but they had to borrow some military personnel carriers due to the poor road conditions and the regular van's thin armor.

One of the police officers approached the S.R.T. squad leader and said: "We just took some automatic fire from the 3rd floor over there, no injuries though. Some residents of the town came back a few minutes ago with their own weapons, so we have them as back up if it comes to that."

A different S.R.T. member commented "If we had some gas grenades this would be easier, but there's been a shortage for a while. The closest OMON unit is currently deployed inside Kolgujevska, keeping checkpoints occupied so we cant get their equipment."

As the helicopters were being pestered by the aircraft, one of the pilots sarcastically replied "Where do you think we're going? We need ammunition, those rebel convoys on our side of the border aren't going to blow themselves up"

Outside Uzletvets:

king 2 couldn't beleave what he just heard over the radio.King 2 came up over the radio.

"King 2 to the SRCP forces why do you think where here over, Your goverment wants a peaceful end to this where here to enforce the ceasefire on both sides. We are broadcasting to both sides and we are to police both sides in this conflict."

"King 2 to looking glass 34 we need ground forces to defuse the situation here how copy over"

"Roger king 2 i'll try and task something that way soon as i can out"

Meanwhile with King 3:

King 3 was fly above in subsonic circles above the gunships.

"King 3 to gunships you are to sent down at your base and not take off again we are enforcing a No-Fly zone in this area."

Petrovic airport:

The 4th of the 91st was digging in and setting up. power to the airport was being brought back outline with Genarators that where brought in. More armor was being off loaded and supplies where starting to flow in. The commander was in the new command center.Aircraft where landing once every 15 mins to bring in suppies and gear and the first of the follow on units of the 1st and 6th brigades of the 91st airborne, plus three companies of Heavy Cavlry where being brought in this were not heavy MBTs but CV120s and Centeruo B1s with both with 120mm guns

"Looking glass 34 to rabbit 6 we need a ground force to deploy to the border town of Uzletvets to bring peace to this town before it goes further there over"

On the border of SRCP:

The first elements of the 3rd Marine Div where just crossing the border into SRCP and where headed to Petrovic.

In the Battlespace around Petrovic:

Special forces units where all around the city seaching for SRCP soldiers and Rebels to move them out the city and surrounding areas.

OOC: How do you wan this to proceed? Imbrinium to broker a peace between the two sides witha few fight fights on both sides. Or it to grow into a wider conflict with both our nations. our just see where it goes from here.?

The Police Sargent on site rubbed his eyes in frustration, and replied "You're mistaken, this isn't a military matter.."

He then said to the others in the command vehicle: "Well they basically claimed authority over this situation, due to it's proximity to the border. Fucking foreigners.. Anyway, Kaminski found a way inside the buildings. By entering through the sewer, the gunmen won't see us until it's too late, and the "peacekeepers" wont see the operation. How many smoke grenades does your team have?"

The S.R.T. commander replied "Not enough to make a good screen. The tanks have those smoke launchers, however."

"Ok, we're going to go with this plan; break into fire teams of 5 and enter the sewers through the sewage disposal plant, and use the service tunnels to maneuver to the assigned apartment blocks. Anyone not assigned to a fire team will stay here, and secure the bridge to Kolgujevska. Use a BTR to get there quicker, and to protect yourselves from small arms fire. In order to keep this a fast operation, the second they begin to shoot at the BTR, the S.R.T. teams will move in and sweep the building, using flash grenades when entering rooms with the gunmen."

Minutes later, they set the plan into motion.

The tanks on site deployed their smoke screen and the S.R.T. officers entered the sewage plant, going through the lower levels to the assigned buildings. They then radioed back reporting thier location, and the BTR was told to move through the center of town. As expected, smallarms fire came from the closest building, along with a tube launched RPG, which missed.

"Team 1, 3rd floor, advance"

The first team moved up the stairs from the basement and shot a gunman in the back as he was moving to a different position, then they through a flash grenade into the room that the RPG was fired from, blinding or startling everyone inside then entering the room peppering anyone not affected by the grenade with bullets, and riflebutting the blinded gunman, often in the head.

"Team 1, area secure, engaging hostiles in adjacent building"

"Copy Team 1, Team 2 advance"

The first team took potshots at the gunman from across the street, while the second team maneuvered behind them and threw their flash grenades
and radioed the first team to stop shooting. They then operated in a similar fashion, capturing most of the gunmen alive.

The 3rd group of gunmen attempted to flee, but were cut off by the BTR and shot with beanbag rounds from shotguns or their legs shot until they surrendered.

After some time of sweeping, it was declared safe for the residents to return to their homes; the weather wasn't exactly friendly out today.

The 15 suspects, out of 23, were detained and lined up near on of the APC's, with several Policemen overwatching them. The other 8 were KIA or had bled out from their wounds.

Drakovian’s Coastline

The VRN Union (SSGN) opens its Guided Missile Hatch One containing BrahMos missile, ready to be fired.

Captain Lamont of the VRN Union reaches his radio and contacted his Officers who operate the Missile Launch. The XO and the 1st Mate are looking at their binoculars and trying to plot areas on the map that has been hit by the fleets’ shell fire. They return below and walk up to the Captain.

“Captain, we have collected available information and we concluded that the only possible way to get rid of those enemies is to fire this area, giving time for the Amphibious Transport ships to drop-off all of the VRA 2 Divisions and equipments. The Divisions will have to do the rest of eliminating the enemy which our fleet cannot see due to the terrain and forestry.” Said the XO

“I see, have the Admiral gotten a confirm landing on Drakovian from HQ.” said the Lamont

The Radio Officer came through the halls and enters the bridge holding a paper message.

“Captain, we have info from the Rear Admiral, he received the message from HQ that Drakovian will allow the Divisions to go in, but they must absolutely get near to CP’s borders in 5 days or they will allow CP to send their own units to attack the VRA divisions.” Said the Officer

“That means that Drakovian don’t even mind that their country will be a “soon to be” a battlefield,” said the captain

Suddenly, they hear a shell whistle by and a erupted explosion and the sub shook. The intercom turned on.

“FIRE IN THE MESS HALL!!! FIRE IN THE MESS HALL!!!” said someone

“GET THAT FIRE CONTAINED” said the captain, reaching for his radio “Officer Park, fire BrahMos at co-ordinates at Delta 023-127.”

Another shell hits the sub.

“After the Missile has launched, emergency dive!” said the captain

The BrahMos was launched and is heading towards the target area.

Meanwhile, R.Admiral Johnson, have gotten the news from HQ and orders all Amphibious Transport Ships to charge and release all the anticipated ready soldiers of 2 divisions at Drakovian Coastline to eliminated all CP forces along the coastline and march towards CP’s boarder in 5 days. Which is very short, but they must go swiftly, in the matter of fact, back in HQ, they were thinking to go along the border between Drakovian and CP to get to the Blue State and CP Borderline to get to Kolgujevska.

All the fleet continues to shell the coastline while taken damage from Krasnopol.

Above the Blue State’s airspace

The 747’s is approaching towards Kolgujevska, however, Lee hesitated and refused HQ orders to drop into Petrovic but instead dropping to a town 25 miles away from the boarder. To insure that 800 troops of the 2 division won’t get killed in Petrovic. Of course its long ways to get to Petrovic, but they must establish communications with the Navy.

“Men, we are appoarching towards a town in Kolgujevska, 25 miles from the blue state, I refused to drop into Petrovic. But we must establish communications with the Navy, and possibly meet up with some foreign army. Get ready men, we will be approaching to the location in 15 minutes. Pilot, be sure to lower your altitude to avoid enemy radars.” Said Lee, being worried that they will be 100% likely to be shot down at low altitude

"GHQ, this is CD-05 requesting immediate support, we are under heavy shelling from hostile fleet, over"

"Copy, scrambling X-02 stealth fighters, hold positions as long as possible."


"Damn it. Okay, chances are they are going to move infantry in to take out the artillery, since they're shooting blindly. We have an airstrike on the way to hit some of their key ships, and a dozen tanks[T-62M] as fire support. Once the planes are inbound and hit their targets, our scouts will tell us if they've landed and we'll adjust fire. The pill boxes will hold fire until they're reasonably close then open fire, and some tanks will advance. The rest will hold here as a final defense point."

Inside Kolgujevska


A Motor-Rifle Battalion stationed just north of Kolgujevska was ordered to advance further into that country by 30km after receiving information that those airliners were attempting to return. They had a supporting Anti-Air detachment, which consisted of Sa-13 Gophers and 2K22M1 Tunguskas.

Meanwhile, the trains that had been removing artillery units were stopped, and ordered to bring those units back. Aside from the BM-21 units, TOS-1's would now be deployed.

Petrovic Airport:

Cargo aircraft were coming in about every 30 minutes and a factory like efficiency with aircraft landing and moving to unload and refuel then move to another runway to take off again. The first helicopters were being unloaded gunships and support. Security had been setup and engineers where fixing and repairing the airport along with building bunkers and defense positions. A hospital was setup in a hanger for the locals to get medical help and food. Uav’s where being launched to recon the country side.

3000ft above the train yard outside the city a uav flies overhead and scans the area.

“Get the commander in here now!” A Sgt called out from the command Center.

“Yes what’s up?” “Sir we’ve got troops just outside the city at the train yard we’ve got tanks, IFVs and more. Sir”

“Dam it Capt get a platoon out there and either talk them into moving farther out or move them out.”

“Yes Sir ROE still applies right sir?”

“Yes if you’re fired upon returned fire.”

“Yes Sir”

With that an Armored Cav platoon moved out headed for the train yard.
150 miles north of the border:

The 3rd marine division is headed Kolgujevska to reinforce the units of the 91st airborne. The first units will be reaching Kolgujevska in about a day.

Off the coast of Drakovian:

The RIN where watch a distance the naval engagements between SRCP and VE naval units. Admiral comes into the CIC and asks the watch officer.
“Are they at it again?”


“Yes sir”

“That’s it move units in and break this shit up before it’s too late to pull them back”

“This is the RIN Flagship HMS Fearless to both SRCP and VE units you are ordered to cease fire before this gets out of hand, we have units around the area and if any of our units are hit we will return fire to both units regardless of who shot.”


OOC:Sorry i've had writer's block.

The trainyard, since it's occupation had been made into a FOB shortly before the ceasefire was issued. Because of the regular attacks from the city of Petrovic, the Army had dug into the ground, and put up walls around the area with guard posts after a set distance. Due to the large amount of tracked vehicles that moved through the area, most of the roads were destroyed and now were basically mud traps, making travel somewhat difficult. Despite the occupation, a single civilian operated train still passed through daily, and normally people didn't exit to this station. When they did, however, they were often screen by military or internal affairs troops before being able to leave that terminal. Using the train was quit difficult,as any local would be searched and detained after an incident where a suicide bomber had killed a dozen soldiers.


From one of the guard towers, the soldier inside saw the approaching vehicles and radioed back to base to alert them.

"Patrol here, inbound armored vehicles, likely infantry squads mounted. Description is a modified CV-90 type, over"

"Copy patrol, will advise all units to be alert, HQ out."


On the road about 70m from the main gate a road checkpoint was alerted to the vehicles in route. The infantry squad assigned to the gate wore mixed camouflage winter uniforms, and carried assorted Kalashnikovs. They confirmed with their squad's radio, and continued to stand around the barrel fire they had going, while the fire support detachment continued to chat near their NSV heavy machine gun and SPG-9 recoiless gun.

As the vehicles approached, they lowered the barricade, and the Lieutenant signaled the vehicles to halt.

Petrovic:

As the armored cav platoon moved to the edge of the city they could see the train yard and station and that it had been turned into a FOB with formations. The platoon stop on the road headed to the station about 100 meters from the gate of the FOB.

“Lion 6 to lion 4 come in over”

“This is lion 4 go 6 over”

“I want you a lion 2 to stay here and myself and lion 3 will move to the gate to talk to the guards over”

“Roger that 6 you want lion 4 and 2 to provide over watch while you and lion 3 move to the gate”

And with that two of the CV-120s moved slowly down to the gate, while the others setup in a defense positions to cover the advance. The thing that worried the plt sgt was they were about 300meters outside the range of the supportive fire batteries at the airport.

The 2 CV-120s made the way to a checkpoint where a soldier waved them down to stop. The Lieutenant opened the hatch and waved and spoke in very broken Russian.

“I’m with the RIA we are here as peacekeepers and I need to see your post commander on a urgent matter from my commander.”

Just then the UAV passed over the Fob again and was relaying intell back to the command post at the airport.

One of the soldiers somewhat understood what he was trying to say, said something to one of the others and used his patrol radio to contact the General. They had a brief exchange of words, and the soldier handed the radio to the peacekeeper. The soldier said in English, with a very heavy accent "It's the general, he speaks your language."

"This is General Sidorenko of the Chernobyl-Pripyat Red Army. Who am speaking to, and why have you drove armor up here?

Train yard:

The Lieutenant took the radio and listen to the general on the other end.

“Sir I am Lieutenant Mauro Mazzi with the Royal Imbrinium Army I’m here with the peacekeepers at the airport, my general sent me here cause he wants you to move your base at least 20 miles away from the city.”

“I do understand sir we are in your country and it’s alittle strange to hear this from a foreigner but the fact is that we are here to stop the fighting by invite from your government.”

The LT sat back on the hatch of his track and waited to hear a response from the general.

As General Sidorenko replied, he looked over a chart detailing troop movements and the like since the beginning of the invasion.

"Our current location complies with the original ceasefire guidelines.. And I have not received any information from GHQ that say's otherwise. Kolgujevska my country? some could take that as an insult. This little backwater Republic bit off more then it could chew, and is now choking at it's own fault."

After putting the folder back, then said:

"One more thing, there's a reason we have those gunship patrols. The rebels have been trying to take their fight into my country to persuade my government to cease combat operations. I just can't allow that now, can I?"

Train yard:

The Lieutenant sits there and thought to himself. The general has a point but my orders are clear too. The lieutenant picks the radio.

“Sir Mission of securing the border will soon be our job, we have aircraft in the air 24/7 and our own gunships are being unloaded now to take over for the patrols.”

“If 20miles is too much I’ll take the lead and ask what would be good for you sir there has to be a resolve to this.”


With that the LT laid the radio down and climbed out of the hatch and sat on the side of his track and asked the soldiers standing there if they wanted a smoke.

Drakovian’s Coast

The VERN fleet continues to shell the coastline while taking moderate-heavy damages on some of the ships. Another radio transmission was being called and once again it’s the RIN.

The radio spec. came into the bridge where the R.Admiral is looking at the flight deck that is damaged by shell fire.

“R.Admiral Johnson, we have another radio transmission from RIN” said the spec.

“What’s the message?” said Johnson, looking at the specialist curiously with a bandage across the forehead. The specialist handed Johnson the papers.

Petrovic Airport:
“This is the RIN Flagship HMS Fearless to both SRCP and VE units you are ordered to cease fire before this gets out of hand, we have units around the area and if any of our units are hit we will return fire to both units regardless of who shot.”



“If that’s what they request, then so be it. They started the ceasefire agreement, hopefully they keep it. Hand me the radio” said Johnson,

“This is Rear Admiral Johnson, all units ceasefire at once and back out of Drakovian’s Coast by 30 miles from where we are. We have been asked to ceasefire by a nearby foreign Naval Fleet. All units ceasefire and retreat, after that, report damages.” Said Johnson to all of the VERN fleet.

"Get me in contact with commander on RIN Flagship HMS Fearless"

"This is VERN Flagship, R.Admiral Johnson speaking on behalf of the fleet present at this location. We have received your message on ceasefire, we will obey that command by the fact that you're peacekeepers.

As a establishment on ceasefire, we ask you if you have had any intel about any several 747's in Kolgujevska? The contain about 700 VERA units. We have a Lt.Major Lee on board in one of those planes."

The VERN fleet stops firing at the coast and backing off till the enemy cannons and artillery are out of range. Johnson is awaiting communications with the commander of the RIN Flagship

Somewhere above Kolgujevska, near a small town

“Okey, we are going to drop in 5 minutes, I need 3 men to go down into the cargo bay and stand ready to drop off equipments. We need to establish a small outpost. Due to no intel over this region, I suspect anti-aircraft fire, possibly a C-P units.” Said Lee,

The 747s’ rear doors opens, men secure their belongings and equipments and checked their men in front of them to see if they are also secure. The men hooked there parachute line on the wire and awaiting green light. At soon as the men prepare, a warning light pops up on the panel and said that they are at low fuel, cannot survive more than 10 minutes.

The HMS Fearless:

Admiral to the CIC the ops center was calling over the intercom. In the mess hall the admiral had just sat down with a cup of tea. He hears the call back to the CIC and gets up and walks down to there.

“Yes what do you have for me?”

“Sir the VERN has pulled back and request to speak to you sir”
“Very well put him on.”

“This is Admiral Cattaneo with the RIN to the VERN units calling.”

“Before you answer we are here as part of a peacekeeping mission, we are not on either side of this conflict please state your intent.”

Shoreline

As the volume of shells from the VE fleet lessened and eventually stopped, the field commander of the coastal defense ordered a halt in shelling. Shortly after resupply choppers were inbound, and would evacuate wounded.


Inside Kolgujevska

A VDV recon squad, while searching for rebels and Kolgujev Army units heard the approaching 747's.

"Alpha-Black-1 to Kombat, come in, over"

"Copy 1, what's your SITREP?"

"We've just located the airliners that tried to enter restricted airspace before, they entered from the west, advise?"

"Follow their path, if they deploy paratroopers have the BMD shoot the troopers and radio back, we'll deploy some fighters your way and the ground force to the north will advance."

"Copy, Alpha-Black-1 out."

The VDV squad then mounted their BMD-4 and proceeded to travel in the direction the same direction the 747's were moving in. Several Su-37's were prepped and put on standby at the airfield in Slavutych.

"I'm looking over the record of the ceasefire, it say's nothing about returning to our border, it just details that we must leave the city... And according to a Kolgujev map, this trainyard isn't within the city limits."

As he said that, a communications officer entered his room and placed a piece of paper talking about the aircraft that had entered the airspace, and the relation to the naval fleet that had attacked the coastal defense post.

As they were were talking, a supply column began heading their direction on the main road due to road conditions on their regular route.


"349, this is Operations Base, why are you off location?"

"349 here, one of the bridges is damaged, I'm not sure it would hold up a T-80 passing over it, and there's a large mud puddle that some of the smaller trucks would get caught in. We're moving up the main road, ETA about 10 minutes, over"

"Uh.. Copy 349, be advised there are peacekeeper tanks not too far from the gate, out"

The small column of Ural trucks, MT-LB and the pair of T-80UD continued their path.

Off the Drakovian’s Coast, Near RIN fleet

“Hello, Admiral Cattaneo, this is Rear Admiral Johnson of the Vietnam Empire Royal Navy. Our intent is to send 2 Army Division into Kolgujevska, by dropping them into Drakovian. We got permission by the Drakovian Government to enter their lands, but I assume its going to be difficult because of the CP's coastal defenses.

As the entire story, the Government of Vietnam Empire has decided to intervene CP and stop their action against the Kolgujevska nation, and possibly re-establish temporary government system.”

Over Kolgujevska

In the 747s’, the men awaits their drop to a town, knowing that they will probably entering a hot region, don’t know if they are facing a division, armored, or pissed off civilians.

Green light is flashing over the cabin

“GREEN LIGHT, MEN DROP!!” said Lee

“Remember men, when you land, cut your parachute line, load your weapon, and regroup, there will possibly be CP searching and maybe shooting at us at air, so MANUVER YOUR PARACHUTE!!! We will be dropping at 700 ft. Good luck men, I’ll meet you at the field.”

The 747s’ opens its rear doors, and the men start dropping down and enaging their’ chute, in the cargo bay, the responsible men are dropping military equipments with chute then after drop out. The pilot puts the jet into auto pilot and gets ready for the drop. The brave men floating in the air, seeing trees, roads, farms, a small town, except for one who thought saw a big flash over the distance.

"Alpha-Black-1 to HQ, 747's are dropping paratroopers,numbers hundreds, are we cleared to engage?"

"cleared, scrambling fighters to intercept remaining aircraft. mobilizing local formations to assist, out."

"Copy."

Two of the VDV troopers aimed the pair Igla launchers that were inside the BMD at one of the 747's, gained a lock and fired. The pair of missiles screamed through the air at the designated target, and they mounted the BMD and pulled back a distance.

The Motor Rifle battalion inside Kolgujevska, several miles to the VDV paratrooper's north was told to advance to their location, and the parent Division was mobilized and was being prepped to advance.

Meanwhile, 5 Su-37 scrambled from the airfield to shoot down the aircraft.

As lion 6 talked to the base commander at the train yard, the UAV flying over head spotted something approaching the train yard.

And with that the two over watch CV-120s unloaded there troops and took up an anti-tank roll.

And with that lion 3 opened his hatch and yelled out to the LT.

“Sir incoming Tanks lions 2 and 4 have our backs time to go”

With a look of surprise the LT looked back at the radio and picked it up.

“Commander you where stalling me and calling in support Damn you!”

And with that the LT threw the radio at the guards and jumped into the commander’s hatch.

“Driver lets back up quickly we’ve got incoming armor”

“Lion 6 to rabbit patch possible action to follow requesting air support over”

“Roger tasking at this time lion 6 also have a platoon of Centuro b1s in route to you”

“Roger that, waiting orders over?”

“Standby ROE states fire only if fired upon they may be headed into base as part of the ceasefire”

As the supply column neared, they caught eye of the CV-120's and halted, with the escorting T-80UD's adjusting their formation as to cover the vehicles in the road.

"349 to base, what's going on here, over"

"349, peacekeepers are causing some trouble, advising to overwatch until further notice."

"Copy." The commander then switched radio channels and told the other tank to man it's battle stations. As both crews buttoned the hatches, the gunners unlocked the turret and aimed it at one of the vehicles. As they did that, the autoloaders loaded 3BK29 HEAT rounds.


Meanwhile, the supporting group for the paratroopers out west was cleared to move. As the infantry mounted their BTR's, the T-90 tanks moved to the main gate, which was then opened to allow passage.

The commander radioed the airfield in Slavutych and told them to be on standby with interceptor aircraft and ground attack.

Train yard:

Lion 6 and 3 backed up to and found some cover and lion 2 and 4 had their troopers setup an anti-position and sniper positions to support any actions.
Inside lion 2:

“Gunner tank sabot!” “Gunner tank identified!” And the same was done with all 4 CV-120s as they loaded for action should it come.

At the airport:

2 super cobras where being loaded and fueled. In the command TOC they were busy getting air support in the area to support should there be a fight.

50 Miles south of Petrovic:

The first armor of the 3rd Marine Division was speeding toward the city. A FOB was setup just inside the border of Kolgujevska to help secure the border and act as a support base.

As the T-90 and BTR-80's emerged from the gate, one of the command tanks gave a few orders.

"Everyone keep on target to location, 2nd armor platoon halt and overwatch, activate ARENA systems now."

HQ then gave orders to the supply column that was nearby. "Supply, move in, they won't shoot first. 349, move in with the trucks, but keep your guns fixed on the possible targets."

"Copy. driver, forward-slow."


As a precaution, all of the garrisoned forces were put on alert. The 2k22M1's on site began to actively scan the sky with the assistance of a radar truck and an Sa-13

Train yard:

The IRA CV-120s were sitting with their guns hot and ready to fire with the first shot fired at them.

“Lion 6 to all lion units have movement coming out of the compound “

“Roger that 6 I’ve got it too.”

Just then 2 super cobras few from behind the buildings and dropped in low over the camp.

“Devil 2 they’ve got there radars up be careful devil 4”

“Roger that 2 I’ve just turned on ECM”

Meanwhile 20 miles out a 2 tornados dropped down to NOE and went sonic. And 50 miles out from that where 20 Marine Helicopters 10 CH-47s and 10 CH-53s carrying an assault group.

35,000 FT above the battle space:

“Eagle eye 34 to Rabbit patch come in over”

“This is Rabbit patch go Eagle eye 34”

“We’ve just got active radar at the train yard and movement of personal and armor around the area and commutation intercepts are threw the roof.”

100 miles to the south at 24,000 ft:

A lone aircraft call sign ghost chaser 11 was in route to the battle space this aircraft was a high tech ECM and ECCM, ELINT, this aircraft can also be used in cyber warfare also.

Above Kolgujevska

During the drop, 500 troops are out of the plane out of 1350. As the men below their’ 747s in the cargo bay started to drop equipments that mostly contains camp equipments and ammunitions , the pressure was on to them, every equipment is important to this temporary Battalion of the 150th and 110th Army Division.

100 more troops drop-out, suddenly, missiles came out of no where and hits one of the 747’s tail wing section and have a huge gash, 4 men flew out of the cargo bay with lost equipments coming out. Luckily the 4 men opened their’ chutes but probably wounded by shrapnel from the fuselage, and with the men at the cabin, the remaining men of that 747 flew out and opened their chutes, unfortunately 15 men lost and falling down to their’ post-death fate.

With that news, the other 2 747s notice the horrors that Lee ordered his men to open the side doors and drop out for a quicker deployment.

“CRAP!!! YOU TWO, OPEN THOSE DOORS AND DROP!!!!” said Lee.

That 747 opened its side doors and the troops are dropping out in a quicker pace, soon later, the other 747 from behind soon follow. As the 747s losing altitude, there was no time to waste before it becomes too dangerous to drop.

Time pass quickly, all the troops and equipments are out, suspecting enemy ground fire is expected, but they know that they must be in formation and be on alert. Lee soon followed, worrying that most men will be either KIA or MIA, as the falling 747s lose their altitude, it crashes and explosion erupted on a partial cloudy day on an open field.

The squad radioman turned on his radio and replied "Affirmative, 747's are down. ETA on ground support?, over."

"They're about 30 minutes out. Get their attention by making short attacks on cut off troops, they had to jump in a hurry from what I heard."

"Copy, Alpha-Black-1 out." He switched to a different frequency.

"Kombat, HQ says to make guerrilla strikes on their displaced men."

"Copy Alpha-1, we're closer to some who drifted off course. Set up a small minefield that you can pass through, and put some in the tree line at good vantage points, we're doing the same as we speak."

"Copy, we'll do that aswell. AB1 out."


While the squads didn't have a significant number of mines[PMN-3 type] to make a large area denial zone, the way they placed them was intended for squad-sized groups and a soldier would step om one, causing a panic which may further incapacitate more hostiles who stumble upon the others. PROM-1 bounding-type mines were placed near areas where someone would likely position a machine gun or use as cover.

After they had finished, the "Kombat" squad[commanding squad typical to VDV groups] advanced with their BMD-4 near a clearing where the enemy paratroopers had landed, targeted a concentration who were likely unloading equipment and fired their main gun at them[HE-Frag round]. They would then pull back past the defense line and meet with a second squad, then fight from elevated ground.

Trainyard

One of the T-90 gunners realized that the radio's were becoming increasingly hard to use, so he warned one of the people back at camp using a text message about the jammers.

Back in the base, after speaking with the General, he told the mechanic to reply:

"They know they can't shoot first. Doing so would be grounds for the rest of the army to roll into here and push them out"

Despite the communications being impaired, they continued to the Petrovic city limits, and would pass through completely in order to flank the paratrooper force that had dropped in-country, though it wasn't exactly necessary since another group was advancing on them from the north..

The 5 Su-37's that had originally intended to intercept the 747's were to make a low flyover of the trainyard, having heard of the trouble there.

Train Yard:

The lion units where getting challenged by the SRCP forces coming out of the Train Yard. But the orders where firm no military units in the city expect peacekeepers.

“Lion 6 to Rabbit patch coming in over urgent!”

“This is Rabbit patch go for urgent traffic lion 6 over”

“SRCP forces are challenging us! They want to come though the city over!”

“LION 6 this Rabbit 6 Calm Down, do not I repeat do not let them back into the city. Block them with your tracks hell ram them if need be but do not open fire first, defend yourself but do not fire first over.”

With the young LT told his platoon what their orders where and the CV-120s started to pick out lead vehicles and get into blocking positions.

Meanwhile the two Super cobras where watching in a supporting fire role just in case the shooting started.

Petrovic Airport the IAF TOC (Imbrinium armed forces, Tactical operations Center)

Sir we have multiple aircraft in the air and our airborne platforms are kind of outnumbered at this time.

The commander walked over to the TACSAT Radio and Called up to the 3rd NAF off shore

“Rabbit 6 to Fleet commander 3rd NAF come in over”

“Rabbit 6 this is COMOPS 3rd NAF copy you over go with traffic”

“NEED URGENT CAP AND CAS COVER OVER”

“Roger Rabbit 6 are you calling for a broken arrow over “

“NO! But forces are being challenged on ground need a show of force over”

“Roger Rabbit 6 working on strike package now out”

In the command base the General was on a secure communication line with Military GHQ.

"We've ran into another snag, advise?"

"Continue course, advance all units and take the city. A Spetsnaz detachment reported armor at a support base, so hold until we've dealt with that. Several Tu-160's are going to strike the location shortly, with a secondary strike at Petrovic airport."

"They have escorts? Also, what do what have in terms of reinforcements?"

"They've got a dozen or so X-02, and the 1st Independent Spetsnaz Guards Brigade is right on the border posed as MVD."

The Tu-160's began to take off, loaded with the ATBIP, or also known as "The father of all bombs". They would strike both support base on the border, along with the airport base, while the X-02's supported.

Meanwhile, the tanks halted near the city, targeting the peace keeper's armor , while some of the BMP's aimed their 30mm cannons at the Cobra's. Infantry inside the trainyard prepared for an assault, while outside the border gunships were on standby.

The Imbrinium Capital:

A young aid runs down the hall of the MOD and into the office of the Minister of Defenses office.

“Sir you’re needed in the war room right we’ve got a big problem in the SRCP”

“What the bloody hell is going on just tell me!”

“No time sir we’ve got to go before the shooting starts!”

“Ok right behind you get my staff ready!”

“Already made the calls and the PM is on his way to.”

“Hell this must be big if you called him already!”

The two men hurried down the hall to the war room which is the above ground nerve center for all military operations around the world. Inside there where people hurrying around looking on maps and computer screens.

“Sir War room 3 is where we are going”

“Ok lead on”

As they walked into war room three which is one of many rooms off to the sides of the main floor where meetings and planning takes place.

“Sir Admiral Ermes Greco of the 3rd NAF is on the SATVID put him on screen.

“Sir this Admiral Greco, we have a problem brewing here. IAF TOC in Petrovic called requesting air support earlier both CAS and CAP that wouldn’t normally be a big deal but shortly after that a report came through from Eagle eye 34 where TU-160s where taking off and armor where trying to push back into the city of Petrovic. I’ve launched a package to support Rabbit Patch but there an hour out at best.”

The minister sat back into his seat rubbing his chin

“Never in my many years have a seen a peacekeeping mission turn into a bloody dam war, Right get me who’s ever in charge in SRCP on the horn now! And where the Sam hell is my staff?”

“Sir on both of those right now!”

Just then the door opened and all of the Generals from all the branches of the military walk in.

“Sir sorry where late we were trying to get the latest data from SRCP”

“Gentlemen take your seats” “As you’ve all heard things have gone to shit in SRCP and I want to know why it happen was it something we weren’t doing or something we did wrong? I want answers and now we’ve got almost a hundred thousand troops on the ground and they may be cut off before long if we don’t do something quickly.”

“I want the Air force to get those men some air support like yesterday, I want the bombers scrambled!”

“Get me who ever is in charge in that dam country on the phone now!”

As the aircraft neared their targets, they disengaged the safeties. They knew they would have to hit their targets quickly, get back to base and rearm for more sorties. In previous campaigns opponents were taken down with massed artillery, but the opposing force now had significant air power, which could cause crippling damage to an Army who had advanced further away from supply, not to mention the amount of armor that would be lost. Pilots were currently being briefed, and large numbers of aircraft, - mostly Su-39's and Tu-23M's and the supporting Su-37's and AWACS.


Meanwhile, in the Premiers office things were going as usual. A secretary answered the phone, and rang the Premier's office.

Premier Kotenko picked up the phone and answered; "Who is it?"

"The Prime Minister of Imbrinium, shall I put you through?"

"Put me through." She said, spitting out her gum. "This is Premier Kotenko of the SRCP, and you are?"

She had a notepad, and would be recording key points of the conversation.

Somewhere in the fields

The troops are scattered all over the place, but are forming squad-size formation. Joining up with the others, they have counted 19 KIA. Troops are gathering at a location where Maj. Lt. Lee instructed them to go, “Go to Bravo-Iota Sector” before the jump.

When one of the men catches up with one of the others with equipments, he notices something in a far distance.

“CRAP!!!! ENEMY ARMORED AT 7 O’CLOCK!!! HIT THE GROUND!!!”

Hearing something whistles by, a HE-Frag pops out in front of him and explodes, killing him and 2 others, wounding 4. However, another squad saw what happens, and fortunately has a SMAW. Loads it up and aims at the suspected enemy BMD-4 whom is pulling back, fires a HEAA rocket. And trying to reach over the wounded men and equipments to pull back at the treeline.

Many troops started to show up but stayed back at the forestry area, unable to risk all men at the open field, they started to take defensive actions and getting prepared for enemy infantry if any. Maj. Lt. Lee showed up with couple of men.

“Dang…. I mention the trees not the open field. What’s the status report, Cpl.?”

“About 27 KIAs, numerous MIAs for now, but seems they will show up somewhere” said the cpl.

“Geezs…. Hey anyone who specializes in marksmanship on snipers, I want you men to aim at 6-8 o’clock. I want other men to secure the area, I don’t want an ambush behind our backs!” said Lee. “And someone give me a radio!!”

Lee was given a radio, sets up the frequency and channel, knowingly it won’t be encrypted but a chance to reach over the Navy.

“This is Major Lt. Lee, we have landed in Bravo-Iota sector, miles away from Petrovic. We will be under heavy fire, where on earth are the divisions??? If I get any armor attack, I should expect our own division show up by now!! Hur……..go……..mn….(Lost signal)”

Somewhere outside of Drakovian’s Coastline

“V.Admiral, we have no communication with the RIN and Admiral Cattaneo. Should we try again sir?”

“Yes try again, its probably jammed, try once more, and give me the radio”

“This is Vice Admiral Johnson of the Vietnam Empire Royal Navy. We now in ceasefire with the CP enemies at the Drakovian Coastline. Our intent was to intervene CP and stops it actions on Kolgujevska…we have a battalion size troops under way at Kolgujevska and………Sorry for the pause but I have gotten word that the battalion has landed in a sector that is close to a small town, 30 miles away from the border with the Blue state. Please reply or we will disobey the ceasefire and continue bombarding the coastline and deploying the divisions to Kolgujvska.” (message to RIN)

“Was there any more to that?”

“No, we lost radio contact.”

“Dang it, contact HQ and mention about the Imbrinium. I suggest them to send a Foreign Representatives to Imbrinium before they become our enemies by mistake.”

“Yes sir, sending message HQ”

The communicationist opens radio contact with HQ and talks about the situation.

Had there been infantry inside the BMD, they would have been cooked by the SMAW round that penetrated the rear of the vehicle. None the less, the commander and gunner were wounded.

As they returned to their defense line, they camouflaged the vehicle and waited.

"Kombat to HQ, wheres our backup?"

"It's local, radio them."

"Copy, out." The radio operator switches channels.

"Kombat to Voiska-1, where are you, over"

"We're close, I've got about 25% of my force moving in to reinforce you, and the rest will advance into that town nearby."

"Copy, we'll wait for the reinforcements, out."

The armor and troops would now be facing the town from the east, and would advance shortly.

Back at the airfield in Slavutych, an Air Assault Force was being prepped for deployment to the site. These particular soldiers were Spetsnaz specialized in mountain and woodland warfare. As the Mi-24PN's were being fueled and restocked with ammunition, the soldiers went over the operation map. They were to secure the ruins of a large factory, then wait until the fire support team arrives and sets up position. By doing this, they could support the attacking force, and wipe out or capture any hostiles that flee to the south.

Eagle eye 34 picked up the incoming aircraft as soon as they took off.

The 4 tornados turned and hit their afterburners to intercept the incoming bombers to Petrovic.

And with that the 2 B-1Rs hit their afterburners and turned to intercept.
Petrovic Airport (IAF TOC):

The air raid warning was sounding and the ADN (Air Defense Network) where coming online and tracking inbound targets.

“Tracking this is radar have vampires inbound how copy?”

“Roger got’em has medium and short range missiles ready over”

“Griffin to Rabbit patch we are armed and ready for the word over”

The capital of Imbrinium:

The aid to the minister rushes into the war room.

“We’ve got someone on the line in SRCP”

The minister of defense asks. “Well who is it?”

“Premier Kotenko sir”

“Put her on”

“This is the minister of defense Demi Efthalia of the Kingdom of Imbrinium, What are you forces doing trying to take back a city in which we currently hold full of peacekeepers and civilians?”

“This will not stand, and we have reports of bombers in the air flying toward our bases why? Cause you won’t go around the city of Petrovic.”

“If any of our forces come under fire our two nations will be in a defacto state war”

“Now I know neither of us want that, but we will defend ourselves, we are there as peacekeepers and to see an end to the bloodshed in both countries, so why are you fighting us on this?”

Off the coast of Drakovian:

On the flag ship fearless, the admiral was watch over flight operations and off loading of men and gear to head north.

Over the loud speaker: “Would Admiral Cattaneo please report to the CIC”
The admiral walks down to the CIC

“What you got for me son”

“Sir the VERN is trying to raise you on the radio there’s lots interference I think there being actively jammed sir”

The admiral picks up the headset

“This is Admiral Cattaneo with the RIN we copy you please hold off on any combat operations we are currently trying to locate your forces inside Kolgujevska, I have 100 Marine commandos enroute to link up with them and take them to Petrovic.”

On the road from FOB St. Michael to Petrovic city:

The 1st battalion armor of the 3rd marine division was pushing their armor as hard as they could to make to Petrovic.

“Bison 6 to all elements we are 10 miles out from Petrovic”

The forward Recon element was 3 miles from the city and could see it.

“Beast 6 to Bison 6 3 miles out from Petrovic and holding here roads are clear.”

"Blackjack-1 to Sky Eye, 15 minutes to target.."

"Roger, stand by for further instruction."

"Inbound aircraft detected, Vympel squadron[X-02A], prepare for possible engagement."

"This is always an issue with a conflict with multiple parties. Vietnamese paratroopers landed about 35 miles from Petrovic, and we have limited forces in the area to take them out."

"How could we manage to go around the city, if your forces seem intent on block any maneuvers my forces make? I was briefed on the police operation near the border, and the supply column to the train yard."


"As for those inbound bombers." she continued:

"I can call them off, but that armor is going to need to pass through the city. Any interference with them, and they'll release their payloads."

Shoreline

Since fighting had ceased for a few days, they were able to prepare the beach for an attempted landing. Non-metallic mine-fields were laid down, and dragon's teeth were set, forming killing zones for any armor that could be deployed. Many of the pill-boxes uphill had 2A45M Sprut-B AT guns in-place of the assorted machine guns.

The Imbrinium Capital:

In war room 3:

“Premier Kotenko our forces are not blocking you from going around the city only through the city the civilians need to know that where there to protect them and letting coming marching into the city would not show that.”

“And the supply column and the train yard, the supply column was unexpected and our forces didn’t know if they where there to reinforce the train yard.”

“The armor that you say has to move through the city of Petrovic can just as easily go through the suburbs on the out skirts where most of the civilians have left for the safety of the intercity.”

In the air around Petrovic:

The flight of tornados flew at supersonic speeds over the city on an intercept course with the incoming bombers.

“Falcon 4 to Falcon flight bogies on radar go weapons hot”

“Roger sir”

"Sky Eye here, all callsigns activate ECM, Blackjacks increase altitude and maintain speed and heading. Vympel squadron buzz the incoming aircraft and engage if they attempt to intercept the bombers."

"Alright, I'll order them to move around the city. The bombers will be told to disengage, but will remain airborne. As I stated before, open fire on them, and the bombers will strike the original targets, then Petrovic. Is that understood?"


She then had the Military GHQ order the column to adjust course.

"837, you've got direct orders to move around the outer edge of the city. Continue to keep your guns pointed at them until you're out of LOS"

"Copy, moving on"

The Capital of Imbrinium:

“That’s fine I will make sure your go unimpeded through the suburbs, and our fighters stand down, we are going to increase the number of aircraft fly missions in the area though.”

“I hope peace can come to both nations soon.”
Petrovic city:

In the IAF TOC the radar operators noticed that the bombers where changing their direction.

“Sir the incoming bombers are changing directions.”

“Make sure it’s not a trick and there not doubling back on us”

“Roger that sir”

“Stay on alert and push out some LP/Ops and set up some defensive positions outside the airport some we can defend the city in depth”

“Roger can do”

Train yard:

“Lion 6 this Rabbit patch you are ordered to stand down and let the SRCP armor pass through the suburbs”

The Ministry of Defense, Imbrinium Capital:

Inside war room 3 the heads of the armed services where trying to come up with a plan to support there troops on this peacekeeping mission.

Demi Efthalia :

“ Admiral Russo I want the 6th fleet to move to support operations in SRCP and the 4th marine division to move up and into Petrovic as soon as they get there”

The Generals:

“Roger sir but that will take a about 96hrs before they can make it there sir”

“That’s fine just make sure its done and call up our MPF 4 to”

“Can do I’ll have orders out in a couple of hours.”

“Gen. Siciliani and Gen. Trevisani I want you two to work together and get as many troops we can get into Kolgujevska and keep them supplied.”

“Yes sir the rest of the 91st airborne Division is on standby and I can up another airborne unit, plus maybe a Cavlary unit. All I need is the aircraft to get them there if Gen. Trevisani has them ready.”

“Their ready rotating crews to keep from wearing them out we have about a 4 to 6 hour turn around per flights.”

“Try to push it to 3 hrs to 5 hours if possible”

“Ok when we get all of these forces on the ground what number are we looking at troop wise?”

"Good. Have that done in 12 hours, and mobilize ground forces near our border; infantry, armor and artillery. Deploy Iskander-M's aswell. Those have a maximum range of 500km, so they can be a distance away, out of striking range from aircraft."

She circled a location on a map. "Put them here. Make sure some of them are equipped with that new burst munition the Generals keep egging me to allow them to test in combat. If it comes to it, we'd be able to render Petrovic airport useless with those, take a good chunk of the city or make a rather large clearing in the woods.."

"Anything else?"

"Update me on those paratroopers. Also, tell Tchepikov that his unit is authorized to operate in Kolgujevska, standard operation for them, really. I want them to capture some resistance leaders and take them to the processing point and get rid of them. Secondary objective is to capture an officer from the peacekeeping force for questioning. Remind them that they're only to do that if it's possible."

"Understood."

Petrovic city:

The first of armor of the 3rd marine div arrived and started to patrol the city and setup key lactations. The orders were also handed down to deploy all over the city to repel any attack from any force. At the airport flights where coming in almost 2 at a time and more men and equipment where moving in. The first of a country wide QRF (Quick Reaction Force) was being setup with SAS and Marine Commando units being helicoptered into hot spots to break-up fighting. A squadron of fighters also setup at the airport for CAS and CAP support missions.

At Fob St Michael:

3 brigades where working their way over to the mountains areas to setup another FOB and start operations in that area. The SAS where deep in the mountains working on finding the rebel leaders. Some SAS teams have linked up with some rebel groups and were working on getting them to work with the peacekeepers on bringing peace in the nations.

The IIA HQ in the Capital of Imbrinium:

The spy satellite passed over SRCP and noticed movement of some pretty important equipment movements toward the borders and not just troop movements but major movements of armor and long range artillery.

“Yes sir, shall we also tell the Admiral Cattaneo about that hot zone?”

“Yes”

“Admiral Cattaneo, to inform you, the battalion is in a hot zone, possibility of a CP Armored Division surrounding the battalion, we cannot be sure if your Commandos can get pass through them, but we will inform the battalion to give supporting fire.”

Kolgujevska

More soldiers are showing up, carrying dead and wounded soldiers.

“Sir, we have collected more KIAs, and a lot of our soldiers are showing up at our location.”

“Got it, have machine, SMAW, and mortar at ready, we need to hold them off as much as we can and ….

“Sir, we got message from the Navy, we are going to get pick-up by the RIM Marine Commandos, they will take us to Petrovic.”

“That’s good news, when will they be arriving?”

“Don’t know sir, since we are in a hot zone, I suppose that huge CP presence at the Western Kolgujevska”

“Great, just great….if we can just hijack their tanks, it wouldn’t be a huge problem…”

Imbrinium Capitol

President Mendoza have gotten word from HQ that they need a representatives at the Imbrinium Capitol. After the small talk, Mendoza calls up Mr. Hansen, the current VE Ambassador to Imbrinium. Hansen picks up the red phone…

“Yes, Mr. President?”

“We need you to go to the Imbrinium Capitol, we are faxing you the current situation about the issue on Kolgujevska and CP”
“Yes Mr. President, I will be on my way.” Hangs up

After the Hang up, Hansen gets ready on his suit, while his secretary comes in with a briefcase that contains information on the situation. Going to his limo, his 2 guards are waiting to get onto the limo for escourt.

The armored limo and SUV leaves the VE Embassy Courtyard. Limo going through the streets of the Capitol, VE flag waving on the side of the Limo and SUV, seeing the Government building,

Hansen calls Prime Minister of Imbrinium on his unscheduled arrival, but hopefully be accepted in because of the situation.

The Imbrinium Capital:

The Prime minister was on his way the ministry of defense, he’d been called back from a state trip to another country be was called back when it looked like war was coming with SRCP. The PM was in his car when his office called his aid and stated they had a urgent call from the VE Ambassador about the current situation in Kolgujevska.

“Put him though”

“Yes sir this Sir Konstantinos Stephanos the Prime minister of Imbrinium I’m on my way to the MOD please meet me there I’ll have my aid meet you and get you through the security”

“There’s some news I think you would want to hear to Ambassador.”

Deep within Kolgujevska:

The RIM commando’s helicopters approached the in battled VE paratroopers the door opened on the back of the helicopters and the marines rushed into the battlefield. The RIMC commander runs up to the a VE officer.

“Tell you commander we’re here to get the wounded out first more helicopters are on the way but only enough room for wounded.”

“I will stay here with my guys we cannot fight but we can try to bring a ceasefire to get you out of here.”

A s the commander talked to the VE officer his men were loading the wounded onto the copters to be taken to Petrovic for treatment. Under intense fire from SRCP troops.

Western Kolgujevska

After the spetsnaz team had swept the factory ruins, the fire support team came in and set up their equipment. The VDV fire support team was ready and radioed the recon team that was in the forest.

"Desant-1 to Kombat, we're ready. Any requests?"


"We hear you Desant, send some shells this way to the following coordinates.." As they received the location; the general area where the BMD had made contact, they began firing 120mm mortars.

The motor rifle forces had begun securing the area by squad and setting up fighting positions around the forest, so they could keep enemy forces from escaping through their sector. The primary attack would be coming from the east. The forces deployed to the town began their advance, with infantry squads dismounting from their transports at 400m, using the vehicles as cover during the advance.

Their objective was to take the town from occupying forces, then hold it from counter attack. Once this is accomplished, the force to the west will advance on their rear with gunship support.

The vehicles deploying from the trainyard were still an hour or two away, depending on traffic.

The RIMC with the paratroopers:

The royal marines on the battlefield with the VE paratroopers the next flight of CH-47s where in bound to what was now called LZ X-ray. The marines where in the middle of intense engagement between VE and SRCP troops.

“Super star 64 we are inbound to LZ x-ray do you have any intell on the LZ?”

“Roger Super star 64 this bulldog 6 we are pinned down and under heavy fire we will pop smoke to mark the LZ”

The CH-47s dropped down to tree top level and flew low over the SRCP troops.

“Super star 64 to bulldog 6 you have SRCP troops moving up on you right flank”

The CH-47s came in and lowered the back ramps and medics rushed out to pick up the wounded and some marines ran out with 65mm mortars and cases of smoke rounds. The idea was to screen the marines and paratroopers with a smoke screen while pulling the wound and dead out of the LZ.

Once the engagement had begam, the old factory to the south became the field HQ. The spetsnaz operatives were now in charge of all local units, and had direct communication with the base in Chernobyl-Pripyat and could request just about any kind of support.

The mortar that they had brought with them was soon too hot to fire consistently, so new equipment was to be dropped in. several 105mm howitzers were to be dropped off by heavy lift helicopter, and BM-21 rocket launchers were inroute from the north. The would take positions at the rear of the forest attack force and unleashed destruction on the hostile forces inside the woods.

The armor column coming from the trainyard was alarmed by the helicopters flying overhead, and radioed HQ. They were ordered to continued to the combat site, ignoring any interference from the peacekeepers unless it absolutely necessary to forcefully move them.

On the road

Mr. Hansen was finishing up small talk with Sir Konstantinos Stephanos, hangs up and asked his chauffer how far was the MOD.

“Hey, William, I need to get to the Ministry of Defense, how far is it from here?”

“Hmmm, the MoD? We are about 2 miles away from it, need to go there sir?”

“Yes, the Prime Minister needs me there.”

“Alright we will be approaching soon.”


Kolgujevska

“Sir! we have the 100 Marine Commandos from RIM”

“Finally!! About time, we are taking huge casualty ”

While Lee was talking to the RIM Officer, they agree to airlift the wounded to Petrovic for treatment. Marines and Medics coming out of the CH-47s taking in wounded and aiding the troops.

“How long will it take to airlift the remaining of my men? Or do we have to walk from here?” said Lee to the Commando leader

The troops are still firing at the SRCP troops, while the peacekeepers are behind taking the wound.

Rockets, mortars, rounds firing all over the place, the sky was going dark by the minute…night battle is not going to be pretty, not really knowing if the SRCP will try to flank and ambush. The troops pray to get out of this hot zone soon enough.

“SIR!!! We have the enemies setting up some 105mm Howitzers.”

“Crap!, Snipers!!! I need you to take the enemy out, make sure they not try to calibrate their guns before we blown to pieces! If you see their ammunition box, shoot it! I want those guns disabled!”

One of the snipers was aiming and notice a helicopter is reducing its altitude to drop one of the last howitzers. Aiming at the pilot, he fires couple rounds, hoping kill the pilot to bring down the heli.

Arriving at MoD

The Ambassador arrived, exits his car, escorted by his guards to the MoD building. Met up with the Prime Minister’s aid and went through securities.

“Hello, I am VE Ambassador Mr. Hansen. I came to meet up with your Prime Minister, when do I meet him?” said Hansen to the aid

As the pilot lowered his altitude, he had heard bullets impacting the windscreen, then several tore through him. The large helicopter began spinning until the copilot could regain control, then crash landing in a field nearby. Due to the crash, the howitzer was rendered unusable.

The remaining crew loaded their AK-105's and took defensive positions on the wreckage. They would wait until a VDV unit could get them with the assistance of a BMD, but until then they would have to fight off whoever comes their way..


Meanwhile, the remaining howitzers were in place; safe from stray bullets behind the factory. The guns were practically shooting straight into the air, because the combat zone was only about 700m away.

The VDV and Motor-Rifle detachments currently engaging the VE paratroopers were told that support was ready.

"Desant-7 to HQ, requesting fire support at the following coordinates.."

"Copy Desant-7, sit tight, inbound shells. we're sending up some illumination shells, so watch out for phosphorus."

"Desant-3 to HQ, we've taken too many casualties, pulling back to take the dead back and regrouping with a different unit."

The guns began their bombardment, which brought some shells close to the CH-47's..

The shelling and sporadic gunfights would last until dawn, when a massive advance would begin into the forest.

LZ X-ray:

A new round of copters where coming into battle space was getting pretty dangerous. But this time the CH-47s had slung loads of unarmed land rovers to bring so VE’s paratrooper could have another way out of the area. Since peacekeeping operation for bid supplying any military unit with arms the only thing the RIM could do was to take the wounded out and bring in medical and non-warfighting material.

“And be careful it’s getting pretty dam hairy down here”

“Yes sir “

As the big copters began to approach and drop their loads so they could turn around and coming back into land to take out more wounded there where bullets flying everywhere, everyone knew it was only a matter of time before someone got hit.

Imbrinium’s MOD:

The aid walks Mr. Hansen through security and they go down few flights of stairs to bypass some off limits rooms. Mr. Hanson asks when he gets to see the PM.

“Well sir where we are going is high top secret and there are a bunch of security to go thought usually no one is aloud down here unless the king approves it, but not long sir.”

As the men walk they stop at a security checkpoint and two armed guards follow them though the halls and into a large elevator. The Aid press 4 and the doors close. After a few minutes the door open to a huge underground bunker but it looks just like a high rise with what looks like windows. The aid leads the Mr. Hanson into the first doors of the war room and the officer at the desk calls and states security risk at the door and the Aid and Mr. Hanson both wait till the officer opens the door and the big huge screens with information and operations all over the world are blank and the com chatter is turned down or on headsets as the two men are rushed into war room3. A Voice and a man walks over.

“Mr. Hanson it’s wonderful to see you just wish it was in better terms”

“Here sir take a seat”

“Of course we meet at the opening of your nation’s embassy in our country I’m Sir Konstantinos Stephanos the Prime minster of Imbrinium.”

“Sir there’s a few things we need to show you these are SAT images and UAV video shot from our birds over the battle space where you paratroopers are, we are currently taking out the wounded and dead, Sir my field hospital has 40 of your paras on the operating tables trying to save their lives. We can’t interfere with your operations and we can’t supply your forces with ammo or any warfighting gear. We can pull your troops out and place them at some of our FOBs our supply the means to get your forces linked back up and wait for support to arrive.”

“Does your nation have a plan on getting these guys supplied and or reinforced?

Premiers office

As the recon reports came in from the field, detailing the RIM's evacuation efforts upon the VE paratroopers, the Premier sent a short, but straight to the point message to the Imbrinium prime minister.

We will not stop our current operation with removing the VE’s paras off the field of battle, Our government was ask to help recover them and take them to Petrovic till they can be transferred somewhere else.

Who has control over your troops in Kolgujevska because we have received intell stating that SRCP troops have committed war crimes against the POW and civilians, including attacking a hospital. If you premier are in control you must know what I’m talking about. Our nation doesn’t take kindly to idle threats premier. Do you really want a widened war, with three armies against you. I think its time to sit down at the peace table and pull your troops out of Kolgujevska before something neither country wants.

Mr. Hansen was finishing up security and going downstairs, walking towards an elevator in the corridor. The door opens to a huge underground bunker and lead to a War Room. He meets with the people.

“Hello, It’s nice to meet you too”

Hansen took a seat and recognized one of the people but couldn’t remember until the person address himself as PM. He gave Hansen plenty of Intel about the location of the paratroopers.

“I see Sir Stephanos, I thank you for taking in the wounded and the dead… Since I understand that your only Peacekeepers that you cannot engage in battle. By the looks of it, I don’t think my country’s men cannot survive long enough for support by the division, whom they are still on the ships near Drakovian’s Waters….”

“Well what we can do is that, you can pull out all of paratroopers and take them to your FOB (??). I see if I can contact the neighboring countries of Kolgujevska, see if they can allow two of the VE Division to pass through their’ countries, by hoping if they have rail lines, I can see if VE can pay for the transportations to or near Western Kolgujevska for the division. I need to talk to my President about this; the VE Navy cannot go through Drakovian. I be back”

Mr. Hansen stands up, take out his cell phone from his right pocket and called the President. After some time, Mr. Hansen returns to his seat and have some news.

“Sir Stephanos, my President agrees and they are now calling the neighboring nations to see if they can allow VERA’s Divisions to pass through their’ countries by using their’ transport rail lines by paying them some millions, due to some large equipments.”

“I have two question, is Petrovic Int. Airport under your control? We have some troubles lately about the 747s’. If it is under your control, my country can re-supply the troops from there. The other is that, who is now leader of Kolgujevska?”

"Well, they've definitely got some nerve."

The premier looks over to an assistant and told her to fetch a phone, while still sorting through paperwork.

After receiving the phone, she began typing a response:

While you may have some valid charges against my government, who would bother putting up a trial? Very few nations have the power to do so, and the WA, to be blunt, is quite useless in these matters. I will give you 2 hours to cease assisting the VE; who've landed with obvious hostile intentions, or The Kolgujev president will be executed without trial on the roof of the building he is currently in. Yes, you have read that right. We've had him in custody since the 3rd day after our invasion, when our Border troops caught him attempting to leave his country behind.

You have 2 hours. When only 15 minutes remain, I will telegram the coordinates so your satellites will catch it clear as day.


After sending the message, she called up the special forces team that controlled the detention center. The building was a former asylum, and has been in a state of disrepair for some time. Being were it was, nobody would bother with the building. It was occupied by an odd 70 special forces personnel from the "Zachistka" unit, and they'd managed to get a few auxiliary generators running after much confusion and frustration.

While most of the POW's and suspected resistance fighters were confined to the individual rooms of the facility, the Kolgujev president had spent an unknown mount of time to him in the basement, thriving with all kinds of molds and the like. When the president told them to bring him to the upper levels of the asylum, he had to be dragged since the frostbite and beatings had taken a toll on him.

Imbrinium MOD:

After hearing what the SRCP was going to do if they didn’t stop helping VE’s paras. The prime minister told his aide to prepare this statement.

Our Kingdom does not make deals or deals with terrorist groups or nations, or responses to terrorist threats of this nature. As a leader of a nation when you take office you are willing to lay down your life for your nation. We will in return if you decide to kill the president of Kolgujevska we will assist the government there to hold new elections and or protection the vice president or the next in line with our own protection detail.

The prime minister got on the phone to the command office and stated that he wanted every asset in and around the nation of Kolgujevska to look for the president. Also he want every radio, cell phone, TV station, radio Station, etc. Jammed in SRCP and Kolgujevska.

With those order also came the orders to stand up another 2 divisions or the army and a division of marines for possible combat deployment to SRCP. The 4th marine was deployed to the south of SRCP and the 5th armored division to the west. The RIAF had bombers in the air within 3hr time from SRCP borders and had some 200 aircraft inside Kolgujevska. With addition of a squadron of A-10Ds these planes where there to help get a hold of any armor push the SRCP might make.

The Drakovian’s coast:

The 3rd littoral riverine force had made it to the mouth of the river headed to SRCP and awaited orders to deploy there forces north.

Petrovic Airport:

Helicopters where busy loading troops and getting ready to deploy forces all over the nation of Kolgujevska to search for the president. And gunships ready to support and defend the search forces with close air support and the RIAF where flying CAP mission and CAS mission already.

OOC: Hey VE FOB is (Forward Operations Base)

As the time for the execution neared, MiG-31 squadrons using HARM missiles alongside standard R-37 missiles took off all over the country to hunt down the RIAF jamming craft currently in SRCP airspace. Once they located the aircraft, they would open fire without warning. More Su-37 escorted Tu-160M squadrons took off with their usual armaments after satellite footage revealed the force build up to the south. BM-30 "Smerch" battalions were now en route to areas near the force build up and set them selves up for launching if the order came. Many of these were hidden by camouflage netting. The R-400 systems currently maintained their previous targets.

All relevant Motor Rifle Divisions and Partisan Brigades [my equivalent of National Guard] were called into action, and civilians near the border were to be relocated further inland to a temporary housing location, which was in fact one of many newly constructed "cities", which were to be open for populating within the next year.


As the clocked came to an end, the Premier relayed the coordinates to the Imbrinium PM. After 5 minutes passed, she gave the order for the execution via a secure line. The Kolgujev President was then dragged from the roof he was being held in on the upper floors, taken onto the roof, where a spetsnaz commando shot him three times with a pistol on the ground; twice in the chest and a third in the head. The dense pine forest, unique to the mountainous area in southern Kolgujevska on the SRCP border. The forces occupying the building had made it so they had a full tactical advantage; mine fields, seismic detectors, trip wire alarms, not only that, from the towers, they could see nearly everything. Because the place had previusly been used as a scrapyard, they had moved the old BTR-70's that littered the place to block all the courtyard's side gates. An ancient Mi-6 helicopter laid to rest near the center had been converted into a machine gun nest overlooking the main gate.

The interior was more or less the same; due to a cave in inside the main hall, the main door essentially led into the basement and foyer , where the spetsnaz could over watch from the 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th floors. Seismic detectors were placed on the manholes inside the shower rooms in case the sewers were used as a point of entryThe Rock, then you'd know how they could be defended from a higher vantage point]. By setting it up this way, they could have forces be anywhere in the building within 2 minutes. Most of them excelled in urban and CQB warfare, so this could turn ugly for an attacking force.

Petrovic Airport (IAF HQ):

The news and the sat feed showed that the president of Kolgujevska had been murdered in cold blood. The mood kind of saddened act the fact that IAF where unable to find him in time. The General recalled have of the helicopters forces and the rest where to go to drop zones and start patrols of the country side. At the other FOBs brigades started to deploy in chokepoints around the country and started to control main roads and bridges. Tank and Cavalry units started to patrol the roads and town. The orders came down to find the rebel leaders and link up to bring peace to some areas not in control by SRCP forces and also find the vice president and secure him.

New global hawk UAVs special designed for ECM/ECCM mission where being unloaded to take the burden off of manned 24hr flights.

“ALL STATIONS, ALL STATIONS CALLSIGN CHANGE, CALLSIGN CHANGE Rabbit patch is now Pale horse”

LZ X-Ray:

The RIMC and the VE’s paras where still under heavy attack. The order was handed down to pull all of both forces out and back to Petrovic HQ.

“Bulldog 6 this is Pale horse where sending copters to pull everyone out, how copy over”

“Roger pale horse we copy 5 by 5 out”

The commander runs over to the VE’s Para’s to inform them of the pull out.

Imbrinium MOD:

The PM and his staff where beside themselves but expected what had happen to happen.

“Well ladies and gentlemen we’ll have to deploy to enough places and cut off their supply routes they’ll have not choice to with draw from Kolgujevska”

“You think that will work sir?”

“well the only other way is to force them out by force and we can do that”

The Premier, after receiving confirmation that the Kolgujev president was disposed of began issuing a new set of orders. The bomber aircraft currently in the air would rotate pilots for the upcoming preemptive strike. All of the possible targets were under satellite watch, so any last minute adjustments to the artillerists could be quickly relayed.

The R400's primary objective was to cripple the Imbrinium armed forces logistical and air fighting capability by hitting the airport. Meanwhile, the Tu-160's would bomb Petrovic along with concentrations of armor, troop concentrations and supplies, simultaneously with assorted rocket artillery[BM-27,30] and standard shell types[2S19 Msta, 2S3 Akatsiya].

After the rocket salvos have finished and are reloading, forces stationed on the border will make an advance with air cover from X-02 fighter jets and Su-39 ground attack planes. All of this would begin before dawn.

OOC:The IAF is joint forces command at Petrovic Airport.

As the sun peaked over the horizon, Operation Broken Arrow went into effect. The Tu-160's, escorted by the stealth fighters and electronic warfare Tu-160's sped to their targets. A FOAB was dropped straight in the center on Petrovic by one of the aircraft, on what was believed to be a troop garrison. The squadron broke into two groups; one to hit the airport with it's payloads, and the other to hit the support base to the south of Petrovic. Around the same time, rocket artillery let loose their payloads on their targets, along with the shells being fired.

The Army spetsnaz posed as Border Troops would advance with the rest of the nearby forces, and with the support of heavy armor would attempt to flank the south of what remains of the support base to the south.


The few remaining forces in the trainyard, having pulled out hours before, would be the spearhead of the push into the city reinforced by several battalion-sized elements from Motor Rifle troops.

Forces from the 76th Guards Veblensk Air Assault Division were being prepped for a drop in northern Kolgujevska to secure the heights along the main road which would later be used to transport supplies to forces fighting in the north.

Mr. Hansen gotten a return call from HQ, which confirmation on transport on divisions.

"Great news, thats great news, I will inform the Prime Minister"

"Prime Minister, I have gotten word from my nation that, the nieghboring nation of Kolujevska will allow transportation
for the VERA's Two Division and any future transport with a hefty cost, and the VERN navy near your RIN Fleet will be going
way west of Drakovian Boarder with another nation we have agreements on rail transport. They calculated that for the two Division
reaching the tip of Kolujevska, south border will be approximately 8-10 days, 5 days for one whole divisions reaching there, but
noting that if there was to be a Armored Division in the future will be 10 days minimum."

Kolujevska

Lee gotten word that his battalion is going to be pulled out, agreeing with the situtation, he called all his men to pull back and prepared to get
on the copters.

Forest

With the enemy forces pulling out of the forest, the troops were able to restock on supplies and take better positions. Thus far, they'd sustained 43 dead, along with the loss of 3 BTR-70's and an Mi-17.

Neighboring Nation's Coastline next to Drakovian

The VERN has arrived to its designated safe nation that will allow transportation to Kolgujevska. The amphibious transport ships docks to the Naval Base of the nation. All men finally gets out and stretches with huge relief, now to stretch out their' muscles, they have to load up all military equipments to the trains.

Two Vietnamese Army Division to Kolgujevska will take some time, approximately 5-10 days to get to Kolgujevska,

Battalion armored units going in will take more time, however, not the case at this moment of time. Officers and Commanders are in a private meeting to see how they should take over the countryside of Kolgujevska and cleanse the land from CP's troop. Some are suggesting to have VE to assemble a Battalion Ready Armored Unit from the 751st Armored Division, which contains old armored units from the Vietnam War Era, but are stumped that they practically identical to the CP's Armored Battalion, thus must change the camo of the 751st, and additionally if hijacking CP's Battletanks will also be an issue. They took a long thought and believe the Battalion should be ready if needed, thus sending the Transport ships back to VE with the message.

Petrovic Airport:

Inside IAF HQ the radar and alert stations suddenly came alive with alarms. The alarm sounded all over the base the fighters where prepped for quick action now where rolling down the runway. The IAF command knew if an air attack was coming troops and armor would right behind.

“Pale Horse command to all IAF units, possible incoming hostile aircraft inbound on Petrovic, if command link goes down switch to the COOP plan”

Then the direct link with the battle room at the MOD was brought online which is a constant stream of data and video links to the command center, and the information was sent to other commander and command nodes. Within a matter of minutes most of the forces in the theater knew Petrovic was under attack.

At the airport the air defense grid was tracking as much of the inbound aircraft as possible and medium range missiles were on standby awaiting the orders to fire.

The other FOBs where busy getting ready for a fight along with the 2 divisions outside of the country.

MOD:

The minister of defense’s aid opens the door to war room 3.

“Sir pale horse commands maybe under attack, sir things look like they’re headed south quickly”

“Under attack by whom SRCP? RVE? Who?”

“Looks like SRCP sir aircraft have been reported headed to the city of Petrovic at a high rate of speed”

“Damit get the King on the line we may have to go through this after all”

“Also set the nation Alert level to DEFCON 3”

"All units weapons hot, engage!"
The R400's screamed towards the airfield, while rockets and shells began to rain upon the other targets. The Tu-160's were just minutes from their targets, and would deploy weapons once a hit near the target was guaranteed. X-02A stealth fighters that had been deployed with the bombers began to fire long range missiles at the aircraft on the runways, and would simultaneously engage any craft already airborne.

The 9th Infantry Division was assigned to take Petrovic once the artillery barrage ceased. they would break into 4 battalions, each supported by tank detachments and advance into the city under cover from aircraft.

The forces from the 76th Air Assault Division deployed by helicopter and landed near the hills they were to reinforce and began to set up positions. Their numbers were 90, not including the 200+ MVD soldiers already stationed there.


Meanwhile, GRU had located another large concentration of forces west of Kolgujevska. Due to the high possibility that it was a reinforcing group, any troops in the area were urged to damage or destroy any rail lines they came across, if just to stall them.

Petrovic Airport IAF Command HQ:

The orders where handed down to defend the city at all costs. The air defense grid went into action long range missile lunched out of there carriers and rose into the air to engage their targets. The fighters were told to intercept the inbound aircraft.

“All ADA units this Pale Horse 6 defend this base use everything you have! Out”

“Sir Satrad has picked up movement of armored units and MRBs are on the move or prepping for operations.”

“What do our DRUs (Deep Recon Units) (Call sign Deep eyes) report?”

“Mixed reports our LP/Ops are reporting that troop movements have picked up and artillery and armor has been reported on the move”

“Roger tell those units to keep reporting”

“NET CALL, NET CALL FLASH TRIFFIC FOLLOWS, All IAF units defend yourselves all SRCP targets are engage able at this time out!”

With the net call over the radio to all units the three FOBs pick their target and fired artillery, tank and mech units moved out of their bases to be able to engage target in the open.

Petrovic Airport:

Enemy artillery started to fall on to the base and city counter battery fire started to fire back as fast as they could. IAF command knew something was in the works now but what.

A-10s flew over the train station and hit with cluster bombs. Paras and infantry moved out into the city and underground to escape the bombardment above to rise up and attack when the ground forces moved in.

Off the Coast of Drakovian:

The RIN ships took up places and started launching TLAMs to hit tactical and strategic target inside Kolgujevska and SRCP.

Aircraft prepared for ground support operation as well as to take over air superiorly missions.

"Incoming missiles on long range radar."

"Copy. Coastal AA batteries engage and stay mobile, targets are cruise missiles. Engage any incoming aircraft as a secondary target."

On the ground, Sa-17's began to track and engage the slow moving missiles. Any missiles that broke through would be engaged by the advanced S-500 systems on the SRChP mainland.


After the A-10's had bombed the trainyard, which had previously been used as a garrison [I had mentioned this in an earlier post], the advance on the city was ordered. The attack had destroyed several tanks and personnel carriers that were left behind, and they'd probably giving the enemy pilots the idea that forces were still there.

As the 9th Infantry Division broke into different groups, their Tunguska-M1's began tracking and firing a the A-10's, similarly the Su-37's assigned to provide cover for the Su-39's who were flying and scanning for armored targets. A pair of aircraft pilots spotted a group of vehicles and straffed them with 30mm cannon fire and ATGM's.

As the rocket artillery was reloading, a battery of TOS-1 began launching thermobaric rockets into the city to kill targets inside buildings or in basements; the 9th division was one of the groups who'd initially attacked the city, and requested support before they went in.

On the way to the airport, each of the Tu-160 dropped FOAB's in different parts of Petrovic, leaving them with a single bomb each for the airport.

The spetsnaz masquerading as OMON soldiers along the border began moving to infiltrate in small groups, with the objective to attack supply routes and isolated soldiers.

Off the Coast of Drakovian:

The RIN Flagship ordered 2 HSAS (Heavy Surface Assault Squadrons) and 3 HSAG ( Heavy Surface Action Groups) to close within gun and surface to surface missile range and start to pound the coastal bunkers with HE and thermo baric Shells. The Fleets aircraft start close bombardment of the coast where SRCP units were stationed.

Petrovic Airport IAF HQ:

The base shook with two large explosions in the city that looked like Tactical Nukes. The ADA missile and guns started to fire at the incoming planes both medium and short range weapons hundreds of them filled the sky as the dust and heat from the FOABs blew over the base. The power went off and on a few times in the command center. The commander knew he’d just lost hundreds of men and equipment the 91st airborne may had just become the largest lost of soldiers in the history of Imbrinium.

Just outside the city of Petrovic:

The A-10s banked in and out of banks of trees and hills the noticed the huge explosions in the city and feared the worst that nukes had just been used and radioed eagle eye 36 the news.

“Eagle eye 36 this is Bear 2 large explosions inside the city of Petrovic maybe nuclear over”

“Roger Bear 2 has inbounds all over the map and JSTARS is reporting a lot of movement of ground forces needs you to engage targets over”

Drakovian:

The 4th Marine’s armor and mech forces moved up to the border and readied to cross under a hell of shells from its supportive fire units .

Outside FOB ST. Michael

Armored companies from the 3rd marine division where engaging armor of the SRCP forces as the Merkava IVs rolled over the landscape on hunter killer missions.
At FOB ST. Mary’s:

The fob hadn’t seen anything at the base of the mountains guarding supply route into the country and still looking for rebel leadership. Also they started working on a new airstrip to land need supplies and aircraft for combat missions to the north. Reports where coming of active fire fights between SRCP force and IAF units all over the country, and that IAF HQ in Petrovic may have been destroyed with much of the 91st airborne. Artillery at the base where firing shells in support of a number of units calling and some recon units and armored units were on patrol looking for enemy units.

Imbrinium MOD:

The Prime minister and staff had seen the data and Intel coming back from Petrovic and were pissed that such a first strike was used. The PM called the king and informed him of the actions that were being taken and what else needed to be done. Mean while the orders were handed down for the 9th and 33rd bomber squadrons were being readied for missions inside SRCP. These missions will not only include the support of forces in the field of battle but also the bombing of targets inside SRCP.

King Reaper III wanted 4 divisions sent at once and wanted round the clock bombardment of all targets inside both countries and to show a open support for the rebels and aid them in there fight.

Neighboring Nation's-Kolgujevska's Border

The trains are getting closer to Kolgujevska but isn't entering it yet, but will only stop at a refugee camp which contains many dislocated and fleeing Kolguejevska's Citizens from the CP.

General Lang and General Yoang, commander of the two Vietnamese Division, was sitting, reading classified Intel, was interrupted and was told that they will be at the refugee camp at 3 hours.

"General Lang, sorry to interrupt you, but we will be at location in 3 hours."

"Ah, thank you Private, anything else?"

"As an Intel Specialist, I suggest we should met up with the RIA's FOB,"

"I'll see what I can do, Dismiss"

Lang dismissed the Private and writes down a message and gives it to the Communicationist to contact HQ.

MOD

Hansen was once again, getting a call from VE's HQ.

"I see, I will ask the Prime Minister and will fax you the Intel."

"Prime Minister, sorry if I am interupting, but I got a call from my nation, and it seems that the Division are closing into Kolgujevska's Border but are not entering it yet, but they ask if there are any FOB near their location?"

"That's their location, if their isn't any nearby FOB, they will proceed through by foot and create their Operation Base near the Border."

VE's Naval Base; Qui Nhon

The 751st Armored Battalion are getting assembled at the Naval Base, awaiting further orders and waiting for the Transport Ships to return to Base.

Old Vietnam War era Tanks, still useful, better to use than the Modernize Tanks that is quite expensive to replace. The soldiers whom operates these Tanks are repainting the entire tanks.

Due to some intel that these tanks are pretty much the exactly a copy of the CP tanks, avoiding any confusion of who's who, they decided to use a majority of different tanks

Military GHQ

"Status on bombers?"

"All targets accounted for, we lost 3 planes, the rest damaged, returning to rearm."

As the 9th Infantry Division advanced into the city, one of the tanks Shtora systems detected an enemy laser range finder. The tank and 2 others quicky deployed smokescreens, while the lased tank fired at the point the Shtora system calculated as the source of the target. As the tanks spread out to engage enemy armor, they called in gunship support. Their Sa-13's and Tunguska-M1's would keep away any hostile aircraft in the meantime.

The infantry squads dismounted from their vehicles and advanced by squad into the city, supported by their IFV's and the Su-39 attack planes in the sky.


To the south, the Border Guard troops were prepared for an assault on their positions. Supported by several tank detachments[T-72BM1,T-90U], a handful of helicopters[Ka-50,Ka-52] and an artillery unit[2S19 Msta]. Using the Krasnopol-M1 guided munitions, the scouts would designate targets for the artillerists. On an infantry level, the Border Guards had Kornet-E and Metis-M ATGM's and RPG-32's.

After receiving data from GHQ, the motor-rifle division who had attacked the VE paratroopers began to head west to set up ambush points, and sabotage the railways with heavy explosives.

Forest in western Kolgujevska

While the battle raged on in the east, the forces deployed to the west were preparing for the VE forces that would be arriving any day now. The train had to go through a rocky gorge, and this was an ideal spot for an attack on the train, if that was to be the method of transportation. The tracks were rigged with 152mm artillery shells buried in the gravel, with a pressure plate attached below the rail. Once the weight of the train "steps" on the plate, the shells detonate, taking out the engine car and likely derailing the train. From there, they would open fire from their positions, especially NSV machine guns and RPG-7V2's[using the OG-7V fragmentation round, and the TBG-7V thermobaric round].

Once the Premier arrived, she was updated on the situation and both short and long term plans.

After reading several reports, she then said "Put the Strategic Rocket Forces on secondary alert. Do not fire unless either I give the command or you detect an ICBM launch. Get more Tu-160's in the air and strike their ships with missiles. Once their fleet has been damaged they'll have little means in terms of air support as time progresses"

Near the Kolgujevska Border

The Divisions has arrived to a refugee camp. They were shocked, the Divisions didn't expect to see that many people displaced by the war. The Kolgujevska's Goverment was deteriorating, overheard by one of the men.

The Divisions still haven't gotten any word from HQ, to either proceed through by foot or by train. Unfortunately, both ways are risky, there was no updated Intel of the region they are going to. The carrier unfortunately may not carry a UAV. All has to wait.....

OOC: SRCP the civilians where there in the hospital and for food and water.

OOC: VE yeah about half of your paras where at my FOB the wounded and some unwounded.

Petrovic City:

The IAF HQ had been mostly destroyed with hundreds if not thousands of soldiers of the Royal military dead, missing, or wounded small units prepared to fight to hold the city till reinforcements arrived. These units inside Petrovic where some the highest trained in the world there was to no surrendering of the city without a fight to the last man. Personal checked up on their PRS and gathered as much ammo and supplies as was left, if SRCP wanted what was left of Petrovic they would have to pay in blood for it.

Command and control with IAF units was a little shaky the CIC was destroyed which meant the reserve forces outside the country would be coming in. the goal now was to hold out as long as they could and take the fight to the enemy.

South Kolgujevska:

The Marine units prepared for missions in the mountains and fought scattered battles with SRCP units the orders where simple engage the enemy at will. Intel reported units on the move headed to the mountain region and patrols where being readied to counter this threat. Hunter-killer teams where setup to attack armor and mechanized units.

Off the coast of Drakovian:

The RIN forces pounded SRCP shore positions night and day with naval gun fire and surface to surface missiles, this would continue till follow on forces would land and take the outpost.

The MOD in Imbrinium:

The kings motorcade pulled up to the MOD and the security forces rushed out to pull him in and place him in the bunkers. The same was being done to his family and parliament. The security director rode drown with the king and guards.

“Sorry sir for rushing you in but the SRCP’s Strategic Rocket Forces have gone up in alert and currently we are doing the same”

“Ok, when I get to the war room get me everything you have on who’s in charge in SRCP so in know who I’m dealing with.”

As the king open the folder and readed the Intel on the leader o SRCP.

age is 32, about 5'7", weighs about 130, went to Treneska University of Engineering, elected by the Party before a short coup ousted her from power. After that, she was put in a penal detachment of the Army and fought in the civil war. Regarded as a war criminal by the WA, but since the SRChP isn't a signatory state, no actions can be taken by them. After the war had ended, there was a brief power vacuum and the old parliament tried to take over, but the military and pro-soviet rebel groups put that to a halt. Then she was elected by party members again for lack of any other candidates and shut down the parliament system, making it a total one-party state

The king and his guards walked into the main war room which was active with screens and radio chatter going nonstop. The king walked into the war room 3.

“Well sir were playing catch up right now the FOAB attack on Petrovic took us by surprise, we are current responding with everything we have in the area.”

“How about the 4 divisions I told you to deploy?”

“Two are on their way sir and the other two should be leaving in a couple of days”

“Ok we many have to bring 2 reserve divisions and another 2 active divisions.”

In the air headed toward SRCP:

200 aircraft headed toward SRCP these aircraft included bombers, fighters and support aircraft. These aircraft were ordered to hit SRCP anywhere it would hurt.

Petrovic

"This is Sever[North] group, we are ready to advance, over"

"Copy, advance forward, stick to the plan concerning the tanks. They may be listening in by now."

"This is Yug[south] Group, we've under heavy fire from a building, requesting fire support, over."

"Can't you engage it with armor?, over"

"That's a negative HQ, too high up and they damaged the lead tank's commanders gun. Other tanks are buttoned and don't have a LOS."

"Copy, Ka-65 gunships inbound, sit tight, out."

"Vostok[East] Group here, we're currently engaging a large number hostiles, platoon size estima-"


An AT rocket hits a nearby BMP, which promptly bursts into flames shortly after.

"We just lost another BMP here...4th floor window, right! Pushkin, Filipov, concentrate your fire there, Khokhol, get a RShG-2 over there!"

As the three moved into position, two other soldiers were wounded dragging the BMP crew away from the wreckage. They concentrated their PKP and AKM fire into the floor where they were taking fire, while the 3rd soldier fired the assault grenade into the window next to the one. Afterwards the radioman got back on communication.

"How long until we can get some more artillery over here?"

"3 Minutes, Vostok. Any targets?"

"Hit the taller buildings. Vostok out."

Mountains

Against the mountain side, the 7th mountains division were nearly invisible thanks to their Gorka-3 uniforms. From one of the squad's positions, the sniper began shooting at Imbrinium Marines with a VSSK sniper rifle. The others, who mainly had AN-94's with PSOP scopes did not open fire immediately, but would return precision fire if they begin to shoot back. If needed, they could call on a artillery detachment in SRCP territory near the border, who would support them with 2S7 Pion SPG's. Protecting them was a regiment of Motor-Rifle troops, with supporting BMP-3's and T-72BM1's.

Airspace

In what was considered the largest air operation in air force history, over 200 Su-37, MiG-31 and X-02A fighters took off from airbases after a large flight signature was detected by long range radar. By the time they were estimated to meet, the enemy aircraft should be within atleast 30km of SRCP airspace.

The separate aircraft's objectives and targets were as follows;

MiG-31 squadrons were tasked with downing their support aircraft using BVR missiles alongside any bombers they are able to engage.

The Su-37's are tasked with taking on the fighter jets, often 2-to-1 when possible.

X-02A stealth fighters were tasked with keeping enemy fighters off of the Su-37's and engaging bombers.

VE Naval Fleet

Vice Admiral Johnson was drinking tea in his Quarters. Suddenly, a helmsmen comes in and said that the Divisions are near the border but aren’t proceeding.

“No word from Imbrinium MoD or even Ambassador Hansen?”

“No Sir, I assuming they have no FOB near the Division locations. But the Division would like some aerial Intel of the location they are going to”

“I see…updated Intel, where’s their location?”

“At this location, they going to proceed by foot, they assuming that the rails are sabatoge or the rails will lead up to a heavily CP’s FOB station.”

“Then have the Dominator UAV ready, tell the Division to hang on, Intel will be on its way.”

“Yes sir.”

The Dominator went up to the flight deck and was prepared with equipments. It was launched and going to its destine location, Intel to the Division will be instant because their encrypted laptop is connected to the UAV’s system.

VE’s Naval Base; Qui Nhon

The transport ships have arrived to port and are refueling. The 751st Armored Battalion is getting ready to be taken on board for shipment to Kolgujevska. Shipment to the Divisions will take about 9 days tops.

“Admiral Cattaneo, I have gotten some word that your troops are at Drakovian and your fleet is bombarding the outpost. Well, I was wondering if you need any assistance, I can send my sub there with cruiser missiles.”

Divisions

“Sir, I have news that the fleet is sending in the UAV and is now connected to the laptop, we can see any Intel right on the screen.”

“That’s good news, these men are anxious and nervous for the battle.” Said Gen. Lang

“We will be receiving live feed from the UAV in about 2 hours”

“Alright, and tell me when we are receiving it”

"SAT data shows VE troops on the western border, Approximately Division size. No movement yet."


"Our forces in the are are concealed; if they send a UAV they'll find minimal forces. We're going to send out Su-39's for combat patrols in an hour. The IAF forces took a crippling blow to their forces in country, so they won't be able to support the VE if they call for support."

The Premier sips her coffee, then comments;

"Good. It will be harder to reinforce those deployments, so keep them supplied with air power. I am told that the FOAB attack was a success?"

"All targets hit, 9th Infantry Division is currently pushing to take the city. To the south of our country there's a IAF force we failed to hit in the attack, though that military district is prepared for full combat. A large air sortie is currently in progress to intercept their aircraft."

"And the coast?"


"Under heavy fire, but anti shipping missiles are going to be launched shortly"

Under intense fire, 15 Tochka-U and 5 Iskander-E missile launchers began launching salvos at the ships, and would continue until they were out of rockets.

Petrovic City:

With the IAF forces down and working in small groups inside the city, with nearly 40% (14,000) of the forces inside of Petrovic city where KIA or mia. Small units where now trying to hold the city. Armor and troops were coming into the city and where being picked off, with hit and run tactics.

“Blue 2 this is Blue 5 where moving back to PL bravo we’ve hit armor and troops at PL Alpha”

“Roger 2 be careful we’ll support you with covering fire if needed.”

The teams moved back and forth between city blocks with burning buildings and rubble all around to help hide them as they planted mines both AP and AT and setup ambush points at choke points in the city.

The airspace around SRCP:

The bombers and there escorts dropped down to NOE and half of the support aircraft went sonic and where getting ready to deploy the hummingbirds. Sead aircraft leaded the way of the bomber force to knock out ADA and radar sites. The EB-1Rs went full speed till it was time to launch the hummingbirds, and start jamming incoming aircraft radars and ground station radars.

As the king and the PM and the generals sit in the war room with the ambassador from VE. Options .

“Anyone we have bombers approaching their targets and armored and infantry fighting all over that country, do we need to put more than 4 more divisions in? Do we need to seek away out of this? What I want some options.”

“Well sir I don’t really see the need to bring in more than 4 divisions at this time”

“Any plans on how to hold control of Petrovic city?”

“Well Sir the forces in Petrovic are currently holding the city as long as we can resupply them I think they can hold out.”

“No their not, Sorry Sir but your Intel is wrong they are fighting along phase lines then falling back to hard points and fighting to the death then the next phase line Task force takes over till they fall back to the airport.”

“How long can they hold out like that?”

“Who knows there making it tough for the SRCP making it cost more to take the city than it’s worth”

“Urban warfare tactics are the mainstay of the 91st airborne div.”
“I see.”

The king turns to the Ambassador for VE and asks.”

“Are your forces ready to make a push into the country in force?”


OOC: The hummingbird is a small cruisemissile like drone that deploys 2 EW cables that makes it looks like a flight of aircraft so the more drones there are the harder it is to target and hit the real aircraft, plus jamming aircraft and the drones also jam making it hard too.

In the intense fighting in Petrovic, an OMON company had advanced too far from their main line and had gotten trapped between IAF forces with no clear way to get back.

The soldier currently in charge, a Major, was communicating over his radio, while attempting to get directions out of their city sector.

"Maikopskoy to 'Vostok', we're cut off, we've taken heavy casualties, we need a way out, do you copy, over.."


"We hear you, we do not have visual, repeat, where are you, over?"


The Captain looked around for any obvious landmarks; most of the city was housing flats, so just saying that wouldn't give any clear indication of where they were. They had moved into a bombed out machinery works, and their snipers were taking potshots at enemy soldiers that exposed themselves in near by buildings. He estimated that about 60% of his men were wounded, with less then half of that being able to fight. A field hospital had been set up in the loading dock area for the time being.

"We're currently in the Machinery works, is it possible to get a medivac and resupply here? over."

The radio operator with the Army units cursed under his breath, as he heard a bullet whiz by, making a sound similar to if you breath in with your lips as if you were going to whistle.

"Maikopskoy, you're at least 4 blocks ahead of us right now we're engaging the enemy. We can call gunships to you location, over."


"Shit.. Copy, there's a place for landing here, it will take several trips to evac. Maikopskoy out."



A pair of Ka-50N escorting an Mi-8MT would shortly arrive to evacuate the wounded OMON units, while the Kamov's hit suspected enemy concentrations.

Elsewhere, the tactics had slightly changed, after the army had lost several armored vehicles. The armor would tag behind the troops, and once they came under fire, they would pull back as the tanks fired shells into buildings; now being able to hit the upper floors thanks to their distance. They had even began to set up their own ambushes for the IAF by moving their BTR's across the open areas [past SRChP troops, who waited and would open fire at the IAF if they were to fall for the trick [ideally, they would leave thier positions to get a better vantage point on the APC.]


Meanwhile, a large number of MVD and Army troops were preparing to advance on the remains of the airfield, supported by 2 dozen T-90 tanks and 8 2K22-M1's. For aircover, they had a single squadron if Su-39 assigned to them to fly ahead and hit any hard targets. In one of the Artillery support bases, several Iskander-M's [and the R-400's on site, which are technically the same thing] were being loaded with prototype Thermobaric missiles, which were to be tested on the western parts of the city. They had a smaller blast radius then the FOAB, but were similar in power and nearly impossible to intercept, not to mention much more accurate.

The X-02A's ad gone ahead of them rest of the aircraft, though just seconds from the MiG-31's. The AWACS had warned them about possible false contacts and continued to relay information. The X-02A's were in range of the SEAD aircraft and open fired at the planes.

Imbrinium MOD

Mr. Hansen was spoken to by the King of Imbrinium at the War Room. He was asked if the VE Divisions are ready to go through by force. Mr. Hansen replied

"They are ready, but they are still getting Intel of the region they are going through. The two Divisions my have to split up into Battalion size or so that they won't lose the entire divisions and to clear out as much area as possible. Also, they will build some FOB sites near the Western Border, in case of possible retreat.

My nation's is preparing a 751st Armored Battalion, they are still at dock and preparing to go to Kolgujevska to join the divisions and possible may do a Joint Force with your troops.

I have one question in mind. Since the Kolgujevska President is kidnapped, and possibly killed. Who is in charge of the nation? Or did CP literally drove all politicians out?"

VE's Naval Base

The 751st Armored Battalion left with the transport ships and is going to the docks. In case of an ambush, the transport ships still have the Attack Helis on the deck.

Western Border

The Divisions are getting a live feed of the region...looks like less enemies....or is it?

The two Generals look over this Intel. They are probably expecting an ambush, due to the fact that they might be spied on and rapid deployment to counter the divisions

"Hmmm, by looking at this, its looks less resistance, but with all those covers, we not sure if thats just Regiment or Battalion size..or worse, Army size..." said General Lang

"Well we can't just go right through and risk all 2 divisions" said the other General

"Hmmm, I have an idea...Cpl. Tu, get the Navy on the line"

"Navy on the line sir"

"Who am I talking to"

"R. Admiral Johnson."

"I want those birds on the air, we will give the co-ordinates for bombardment, and have the sub fuel the 2 cruise missiles"

"Alright, I have them ready"

Off the coast

Johnson got the message and passed on through. The birds flying off will be the 4x F-15E and 3x HAL Tejas. Equipped with 4x ALARM ground missile in each plane.

"Sky Eye to all callsigns, inbound additional aircraft, possibly assigned to a new task, can anyone engage?"

"Foxhound-1 to Sky Eye, we can engage over."


"Sky Eye to Foxhound, divert at least 5 aircraft to intercept, engage from different altitudes, over."


"Copy, diverting forces."


A squadron of MiG-31 broke off from the main force to intercept the new contacts with BVR missiles from different altitudes. Once in range, they gathered a lock on with their powerful RADARS and launched 2 missiles each at the aircraft and would continue to engage the survivors.

As the sun began to rise, the last of the dummies were set up in the field. They were essentially inflatable targets used for training, with most looking like BMP-1, MT-LB[dressed to look like ZSU-23-4] and T-72 armored vehicles. Among these were false radar emitters to confuse any possible SEAD aircraft. Once the VE begin to advance and engage, their flanks would be attacked by the SRChP troops, who would attack their flanks from the positions they would take. Any armored vehicles the VE employed would be hit quickly by Metis-M's and Kornet ATGM's

The SRChP armored vehicles were covered with Kontrast netting, and were nearly invisible beyond 200m, especially through IR sights.

The Imbrinium Capital:

After a short debate the king and parliament both agreed and voted to deploy 6 more divisions to Kolgujevska in support of combat operations there. These units will help in the possible retaking of Petrovic city where the 91st Para division has taken heavy losses since the surprise attack on the city. The 91st was sent in on peacekeeping missions when SRCP forces bombed the city and the IAF base their killing still unknown amount of soldiers. The 189,000 soldiers will back up the 136,000 troops already deployed there.

The MOD:

“Well we have 6 more divisions to deploy to Kolgujevska any suggestions on what type of units we should deploy?”

“The RIA General well sir we been doing some studies of what we need there and we think this will work here”

The general’s aid handed everyone in the war room a small book with info on both SRCP forces and the response that should be taken.

These units will help in driving SRCP forces out of Kolgujevska and secure the recovery of Petrovic city.

“It should be we are also calling up 4 reserve divisions should more help be needed.”

“Well it’s a strong plan let go with it.”

The king turns to the ambassador from VE and says.

“Have your forces ready to move once we get ready there will be no slowing down so be sure your forces will be able to keep up.”

“And also do you want a joint command or fall under command of IAFs?”

In Petrovic city:

Heavy fighting rages as battalion size strong points fight to hold the city and company size units move and ambush SRCP forces at choke points. The SRCP forces try to use their air support units to break thought but the IAF still has anti-air missiles as units move and see copters moving in the open fire on the gunships and support copters.

Block by block is paid for by blood in both IAF and SRCP troops. The goal is to make the price a heavy one for the SRCP units attacking.

In the mountains in southern Kolgujevska:

Marine units move supplies convoys and support through the mountains always under the threat of ambush by SRCP forces. Helicopter gunship support and gunship support are always on call. Uav’s are in the air 24/7 looking for the enemy.

Petrovic

In a temporary field command center in a basement of some housing flats was where the bulk of Vostok group's support was coordinated from. They were near the place that they had previously occupied before the ceasefire was initially issued so they had good knowledge of any good vantage points in the area. For heavy support, they had to rely of their BMP-2 and 3's, since the BTR's were being used to transport casualties and resupply ammunition. The original ambulance vehicles, little more then modified GAZ-66 trucks were too risky to bring into zones of heavy combat.

"Thunderbase, this is Vostok, we suspect that they have much of their support base in the western sectors in the city, one of my squads saw some enemy pull back, probably setting an ambush."


"Copy Vostok, be advised we are going to launch missiles to that area shortly. Incoming Grad bombardment, stay low."

After the Iskander missile trucks were ready, and they had their targeting information, they launched 3 prototype Thermobaric missiles and 5 conventional warheads the the western areas of the city. Closer to the main lines, BM-21 rockets were being launched every 12 minutes, while it's larger cousins, the BM-30 launched salvos every 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, after the Mi-8MT was shot down by a MANPADS[Ka-50 is much more maneuverable and has countermeasures other then flares], the Kamovs circled the machinery yard, firing rockets at nearby buildings, then striking a possible IAF supply route between there and the main force. Seeing the only way to evac the cutoff troops was to actually meet up with them, they would need to resupply them with fresh ammunition and other supplies. Some Hinds would be tasked with this, after dropping some ammunition crates, along with a crate of assault grenades[RShG-2's, extra OG-7V grenades for the RPG-7V2's, which were easier to shoot into windows then PG-7VL rounds.


Because they were beginning to run low on ammo, most of the OMON soldiers fixed their bayonets and conserved their remaining magazines.

Mountains


The attack plan was simple; The spetsnaz team was to attack an IAF supply convoy, incur as much damage as possible, then pull back.

They were in 3 groups, an assault team, a fire support team and an AA team.

The assault team are equipped with standard weapons[with armor piercing ammunition], and were to initiate the attack by blowing Semtex on the ridge once they were closer, producing rubble on the road and possibly disabling the lead vehicle this way. They would begin to engage infantry immediately.

The fire support team, spread out to hit from different vantage points would engage any armored vehicles with their RPG-29's, though one soldier was assigned to hitting their command vehicle first. Additionally They would lay suppressing fire with PKP machineguns, and precision fire with SVDM rifles.

The AA team, who were more spread out then the FS team, were tasked with dealing with any inbound choppers or attack aircraft with Igla-1S's, which were normally launched 2 per aircraft.


As the convoy came to the designated site, they began the attack.

Airfield[PetIA]


The advance began with the Su-39's dropping cluster munitions and launching ATGM's and rockets at remaining vehicles and armored targets.After an artillery battery deployed smoke shells, the tanks began a full advance, with the infantry dismounting their vehicles at 1,300 meters from the target zone.

In the skies over SRCP:

The bombers and there escorts where flying supersonic at tree top level the sead aircraft where ahead hitting SAM sites hard. The ECM escorts and the hummingbirds where doing their job the whole area showed fighter and bomber decoys hundreds of them headed everywhere. The job was to knock out the airbases and retake air superiority. As the B-1Rs rose up to lunch there supersonic missile payloads to knock out radars at the air bases before hitting the run ways minutes afterwards with cluster and cratering bombs.

In the KLOG:

Fighters from the south where in bound to take out fighters and helicopters in the southern half of Kolgujevska. Global hawks where now flying around the clock along with MQ9 reapers to support the surrounded troops in Petrovic city.

Inside Drakovian:

FB-111Hs and GR9 Tornados IDS where landing in Drakovian and being refueled and armed for support missions inside KOLG. These missions where to hit armored targets and bases and supply lines and depots.

In a ground radar station, after seeing the number of flight contacts, which suddenly appeared out of nowhere, they radioed in the the GHQ. They confirmed that the majority were false contacts, and were told to clear the interference. In the meantime the air raid siren went off, resulting in a mass deployment of aircraft, mostly Su-37's and sub variants after a radar station was hit with missiles. They were to engage any aircraft they came across. From a different airfield, more X-02A's were launched to cover the airspace in southern Kolgujevska.

For the 2K22M1[Tunguska] and 9K330[Gauntlet] teams, destroying the humming birds wasn't a difficult task; despite the number of false contacts they created, the origin target flew in a relatively straight flight path compared to the false contacts who would appear to have an erratic flight pattern.


Meanwhile, the initial air response engaged the SEAD craft, after they had destroyed several Sa-17 systems. While the X-02A's were at work, the MiG-31's launched the air-to-air variant of the Kh-31 anti-radiation missiles to neutralize the IAF's AWACS. The remainder of the aircraft, mostly Su-37's engaged attack craft


As the tanks that initially were with the assault group into Petrovic returned into the city, they were accompanied by BMP-T convoy-escort vehicles, which were essentially T-72's converted into H-IFV's. Equipped with Relikt ERA, ARENA and Shtora systems, plus twin 30mm cannons, they would concentrate on engaging enemy troops in buildings.

OOC:ground attacks from my other forces or the forces inside petrovic? my other forces are waiting on VE's troops and more IAF units to the battlefield to attack in mass.

Docks of Neighboring Nation

The transporter ships carrying the 751st Armored Battalion, its crew, and supplies has arrived. They are now awaiting for the trains to return to the Naval Base to pick them up and transport them to the location of the Divisions drop-off.

Naval Fleet

The UAV have finished its recon mission and transmitting the last bit of information to the Divisions' Intel Group. Currently, they are still baffled of the videos and pictures taking by the UAV. The location of where they will going to, has little resistance, but unsure if its an ambush, or the enemy is taking smart cover.

The planes are still enroute, and is currently about 30 minutes away from the target area.

Imbrinium's Ministry of Defense

Mr. Hansen is asked again by the King of Imbrinium to inform the divisions to be battle ready when additional division reinforcement arrives to Kolgujevska and if he wanted to do a Joint Command or be fall under command of the IAF.

"Okey, I will inform my nation' DoD"

Mr. Hansen stand up and walked to the corner of the room, called the DoD, and have a brief chat

"Okey, okey, and HQ?.....Good, I will inform the King"

"Well, they have agreed on the terms regarding to the Divisions and they would like to do a Joint Command. As currently, the divisions are now creating an military outpost and airbase near the Western Border, close enough that makes CP not to bombard, due to it is too close to the Neutral nation that will probably immediately retaliate against CP or simply give military aid."

Air

The planes are going to their' location, until blimps are showing up in their' radar,

"We got boggies coming in 12o'clock, 7 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 9 o'clock. Men, engage, engage, there only 5 of them, when targeted, fire at will, but don't fire the ALARM. Take them down before we continue our mission. Tell the Navy that we are hitting a road block."

"Copy that Goo 1, sending message to Duck......

Duck, Duck, this is Goo 3, we have boggies coming in, we are engaging in the enemy before continuing."


Navy

"Sir, the birds are engaging the enemy from Air, they won't have time for ground attack till the boggies are down."

"Tell Captain Cirano to have the cruiser missile ready. Have them launch to the location."

"Yes sir, Captain Cirano is recieving the message, we are also informing the Divisions"

Western Border Divisions

"Sir, the birds won't come on time but the Navy will launch cruiser missiles. Shall I give the co-ordinates?"

"yes, give them the co-ordinates"

"Sending intel to the Sub"

During that, the Generals decided to move the divisions over the border and establish a base 1 mile near the border. The Divisions are now starting to move, cautously and behind them are the howitzers, with loaded round, ready to fire. Scouts are advancing the location of an ideal base.

A hill side, with high elevation, seeing the forest and plains ahead. An ideal base location.

The generals order the mens, when reach to location, they must unload all equipments and establish base, sandbags, foxholes, trenches, anti-air and armored.

Navy, VES Avenger (Sub)

"Captain Cirano, we receiving message from Division, requesting missile launch in co-ordinates Delta Z-23 Bravo. 3 Cruiser missiles."

"Authenticity?"

"Breaking the Code....ABTCDZS....codes are authentic"

"Open missile bay doors and fire at will"

The missile bay doors opens, and 3 cruiser launched from the sub to the location of attack. 10 minutes till hit

10 minutes later....it hit the targets, now its only matter of time if it was an enemy hit

After the cruise missile had struck it's target; destroying most of the decoy equipment and creating a clearing, a spetsnaz commando relayed information to the division command post.

The order was to continue to hold their positions until they can confirm that the VE had began their advance. Since this position was the easiest way to the center of ther country, they would likely move through there, avoiding side routes that were closely watched by SRChP detachments.


Satalite data had shown that the VE moved across the border almost exactly a mile, and apperently began diging into a nearby hieght. This gave them an advantage if the SRChP troops were to fullout advance on thier location in a manner much like the battle of Berlin, however that was not much the plan. Moving in from the North was much of the 58th Army, who would now be the main force in capturing Kolgujevska. Once they were in contact with the troops already on site, they would hit the base with precision missile strikes.

Air

The MiG-31's fired thier BVR missiles at the F-15 fighters; they were the priority target, since it's what the bulk of SRChP pilots were trained to fight against. 2 of the planes broke off from the formation to attampt to get above and behind the aircraft.

As larger mobilazations were taking place, an elite spetsnaz brigade was preparing for deployment behind enemy lines to disrupt and destroy their logistics capabilities. In terms of fire support, they had laser designators for long range missiles from the Tochka-U platform. Additionally, they had plastic explosives, some grenade launchers[RG-6, RPO-M] and RPG's.
