Your guys have asked S&F to do jobs that already were below their class when they graduated from school and that would prevent them from doing their real work. Also, in most societies (don't know about yours) businesspeople would be willing to pay a lot to get access to Sens knowledge... Doing that for free while your government gets that payment is one way they could do their real job, but instead they're asked to work in a library or help raise the kids. Nice things to do as hobbies, but...

So, they're a liiiiittle annoyed now and want to go home because they think they can't do their duty for the Council.

About the lift, they wouldn't get in it without someone joining them to bring them back to the dropship. They're just standing in front of it to make clear they're leaving.

Firna and Sen were teleported back to the main level where Wolf walked over took the blueprints and riped it to bits while dropping the pieces onto the floor,as a large screen showed Firna changing it over and over again

Sen sighed. "Thanks." She checked if Firna was still breathing and if her heart was still beating. There wasn't anything else she could do, so she just sat down and looked worried.

after a long time the Clone turned to Sen from his desk

"we are above your planet and we are teleporting you to a hospital in a second and then we are leaving,so get yourself readly"he said to Sen before going back to his work

"i'am sending down her read outs to the doctors now you have any thing else to add to the report"add the Clone

"Tell them my estimate of her health is 10%, and how many days we were away."
She took of her seal and that of Firna. "I think Wolf will want these back. Oh, please tell Wolf he and the family are always welcome. ... OK I'm ready. Thank you."

The doctors were a little surprised to see them appear out of nowhere at the emergency entrance of the hospital. "That looks bad", said a hybrid doctor who had the readouts on a datapad. "we're going to need help from a Fir!nan." He typed something on his WMDA. "Don't worry, a hovership will be here in a second."

ooc just keep going or skip ahead ,as Wolf just in a fire fight not worth posting it

The hovership brought them to purple bay.

"You seem pretty sure we'll find a Fir!nan here?"

"Mother is doing something with some aliens here recently, I don't know the details. That troublemaker Aniska also has something to do with it."

"Don't say bad things about Aniska." Sen would not accept that someone called her friend a troublemaker, even if that someone was a doctor trying to save Firna.

"Whatever. Help me move her down."

As soon as they reached the forest floor, a Fir!nan appeared, took Firna from them and walked away. Sen followed, with her bare legs under the dress she had to be careful not to touch any plants. The Fir!nan heard Sen walk behind her, turned around, lifted Sen with her other arm, and told the doctor {Go away.}

The doctor shrugged and walked back to the hovership.

--- a while later, in an underground lab ---

{Mother?}

{The hybrids call me that, yes.}

{Will she be alright?}

{Be patient, Sen. She has to heal herself. There's nothing I can do.}

For a few minutes Sen didn't know what to say. She was too surprised that Mother knew who she was. {Why did she get so ill so quickly?}

{Did she? I don't know. I'll find out.} Mother pulled a hair from Firna's head.

--- An hour later ---

{Her human DNA is part damaged and part missing. She's not a real hybrid like I meant them to be, more like a weak version of a Fir!nan with a little bit of human added.}

{So... leaving the planet kills Fir!nans in a few days? Why? Why didn't you fix that?}

{We are part of the planet and the planet is part of us. Would you choose to go deaf and blind if it meant you could leave the planet? Would you choose to lose contact with everything you love in order to be able to travel?}

{I understand.}

Mother examined Firna. {I think she should wake up now. Let me get you something to protect your legs, then I'll put both of you outside in the sun. And I'll go back to teaching.}

Sen frowned. Mother behaved very strange. For a Fir!nan, anyway. Teaching? She decided to ask Aniska about it, she didn't want to ask Mother. Angry Fir!nans were very dangerous, asking one about her strange behavior could be a bad idea.

Mother returned with what looked like two large plastic bags. {Best I could find.}

{Thank you.} Sen put on the bags as if they were oversized socks.

Mother lifted both of them at once, carried them to a place outside with a nice view on the bay, then disappeared.

Sen said to herself, "She might be showing some social behavior, she still doesn't have social skills."

"Who doesn't have social skills?" asked Firna.

"Hey, welcome back to the living, pretty one." Sen hugged and kissed her wife. "I was talking to myself about Mother."

"What? Mother was here while I was out? Damn! Why did I have to miss that? ... When did we get back to Fir!n?"

OOC Guess that's the end of this story, but not the end of the characters :)
