"I hate this," said lieutenant Elijah as the transport carriers were taking off.

"What do you mean Elijah?" replied Mavis the Union Guardian. "They're not rioting or pushing and getting inpatience. What can go wrong?"

"Sir, we only got enough room for 60 people," whispered Elijah to Mavis as the last of the transport carriers were lifting off.

Mavis looked around as the last of their troops were being taken off by Blackhawks to their aerial warship. The civilians looked at him as the last transport carrier landed. This wasn't going to be pretty sight to see in a few minutes time.

"Sir, we got room for 65 now," whispered Elijah.

The transport carrier started its landing procedure as the door to the hull opened. Mavis had to act quick and he quickly unleshed his eight tentacles out of his back and changed into a werewolf.

"I want everyone to listen up!" shouted Mavis as the soldiers gathered in front of the carrier. "We only have a limited space now! We only got enough room for 65 people. Since most of you are adults, I'm asking anyone if there's any wounded, sick or the crippled to go forward first. They'll be followed by a single line of the rest of you! Anyone trying to force themselves onboard will be left behind. If you try again, the soldiers have orders to shoot to kill! Got that?" shouted Mavis.

The girls were taken to an interrogation room similiar to the one where Ion was being interrogated. "Someone's going to be here in a few hours. Or tomorrow."

"A funny guy, eh? Let's see how funny you are when I'm through with you." Stever took a metal pipe and started beating Ion with it. After he got tired one of the guards took over. After an hour or so, Stever asked him again. "Now... Care to tell us where your friends are, or should we do something even more fun?"

The girls were very nervous when they heard those words. "Tomorrow? Sir, we need to get home. Our parents will be looking for us." They all looked at each other nervously; as if they were being held hostage in a bank. None of them knew why they had been taken to the tent. All they did was go to one of the girls' houses to get some stuff to take back to the sleepover. Perhaps, they thought, they should have not went out at all.

Despite the harsh beating that Ion recieved from the Colonel, he did not seem to be in tears or anything of the sort as he was rather emotionless. The guard's turn at beating him did not seem to change that. Ion had went through the program and that program hardened him up. When he heard the demands of the Colonel, he smiled. "I told you. My friends are in Myakka."

The masses immediately were shocked when they saw Mavis after he had transformed into a werewolf with tentacles and some of them had decided to call him a servant of Satan but it was unknown as to whether they were all serious or just joking around. Some even said that the sight of Mavis like this was just cool. The wounded, sick and the crippled all went onto the ship first; solemnly marching with emotionless faces and sullen eyes. It was impossible to ignore them. One of them was a pale girl with bloodshot eyes while another was a soldier without a leg. When all these downtrodden and unfortunate souls got onto the ship, the others went into a single line with their families. Weeping filled the air, lamentation echoed throughout the land, and so forth. A group of nuns in the crowd were praying with their rosaries as their eyes stared up into the clouds. They spoke in refined Latin; being members of an old Catholic order of nuns. The crowds got onto the ship solemnly and emotionlessly. None of them wanted this but they had no choice. It was either go to Lynion or stay with the Reds.

"As nothing that is man's can last for ever, but all tends ever downwards from its beginning to its end, and above all man's life......" Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote, Volume II, Chapter LXXIV

It had been horrifying to see the Communists on the outskirts of the capital after their crushing defeat of the Monarchists in a colossal and long battle on the last miles. The Monarchists, despite fighting valiantly, were utterly routed in the end and pushed back into the city from whence they came. It did not take too long for the Communists to begin bombarding the city with artillery fire throughout a series of days and nights while effectively blockading naval access to the capital to prevent food and supplies from getting into the city. The Emperor, from his bunker, could do nothing but stare at a portrait of Gaspard the First that hanged in his personal study within the confines of the heavily fortified bunker and sigh in a sense of despair while his wife served as an army nurse with her hands covered wrist deep in blood. John Minat left the city days before with the rest of the military elite to Lamoni; leaving newly promoted General Calliverin as the man in charge of defending the city from its enemies. Calliverin had sent his wife and children away as refugees because he wanted to let them live happy lives while he would fight and possibly die on the front lines. He stayed in the Emperor's bunker with a group of about fifty to seventy people including doctors, nurses, soldiers, the Emperor himself, and a group of cooks. It was the Emperor's personal secretary who recorded the last words of the Emperor to those around him. She, a buxom blonde with what can be described as the features of Hitler's dreamed Aryans, would often stay in her section of the bunker or go out with her friends on walks through the city's ruins as air raid sirens echoed throughout the once bustling and peaceful city. It was even cited that soldiers were getting drunk more often because they were assuming that these days would be their last. The Emperor became more emotionless and depressed with every day that passed and he would often tell his trusted secretary his deepest thoughts and she would record them in her notebook. Refugees were fleeing into their homes with makeshift barricades and defenses around them. A group of citizens took up arms to fight against the Communists who had infiltrated their city but they were mauled with such ruthless efficiency that an assistant to Calliverin called it: "A mere display of brutality."

Calliverin himself could not comprehend giving up to the Reds; he was famous throughout the Myakkan military as being the most fanatical officer that one could ever find and he would never want to shed this image and take up the image of a coward. At times he would talk to the Emperor and those who had decided to stay alongside him. Known as Calliverin's Own Company, these fanatical men would stay and fight the Reds until the last drop of blood fell from their bodies. They would never dream of surrender. They were fanatically loyal to Emperor and Nation. Calliverin's Own Company effectively took power in an unintentional bloodless coup when the Emperor signed over all power to Calliverin before he became secluded in his personal study room; only being seen by his secretary and his wife when she came to visit. Whenever she did visit, Gaspard listened to her tales of horror and how she had to examine severed limbs and how she had to get her hands deep into pools of blood. At times, Gaspard and Laney would even make love while guns were blaring in the city alongside air raid sirens so that they could have some romantic time together before the end came. Communists were coming into the city day by day with parts of the city becoming annexed into the Communist dominion. One part of the city became covered in Communist posters exhorting citizens to follow the Revolution with zealous loyalty. Monarchist citizens were making their own armed groups, the Home Guard or Huis Wacht (OOC: I assume this is the Dutch translation; Myakkans are fluent Dutch speakers, well, most of them are) but were usually mauled and routed without a care. Flames spread all around the city with violent rage and many buildings were gutted. The Communists were coming into the city on all sides. At times, they would drag out Monarchist citizens and shoot them in the streets before hanging them from the light poles with derogatory names put on the signs hanged around their necks. Children would run in the streets to find shelter in the soup kitchens being operated by nuns and other humanitarians. However, not even these were spared. A lovely woman who swore herself to the tenets of the convents had been working at a soup kitchen one day but disappeared the next. Her body, defiled and lifeless, was found the day after by a group of ragged children. The Communists killed her and everyone knew it.

During dinner in the bunker, Gaspard XIX had looked rather depressed with his sullen eyes looking upon the faces of his calm compatriots with hardly any emotion. His wife sat right next to him in the dress of a war nurse; blood stains all over the white dress. She did not speak at all to anyone as she did long before the conflict began, well, not as much as she did back then. Calliverin smiled at the Emperor. "I can tell you, Your Majesty, that we are doing everything we can to hold off the Communists."

Gaspard smirked. "I see nothing but failure, Calliverin. There is nothing more we can do but wait for Death to arrive with his scythe." He looked down on his glass of wine and swirled it around. "I feel that the end of my life will be coming soon."

Laney leaned into Gaspard and smiled. "Try not to say such things, my love."

Gaspard angrily looked at his wife and rose from his seat. "How can I NOT say such things?! All around me is death and destruction at the hands of these damned Reds! You, wife, have seen for yourself what I've seen! How can I stand by and forget it all?!"

Laney tried to restrain him but Gaspard shoved her away before walking out of the room. Laney wiped some tears from her eyes while the others just sighed. The Emperor's secretary comforted Laney while Calliverin rose from his seat to beckon his men to follow. Pretty soon, only Laney and the secretary were left. "Your Majesty, don't feel too sad. Gaspard is just saddened and depressed is all."

Laney nodded her head. "....But I wish that it would all end."

----------------------------

"We must do everything we can to destroy the Communists. I have a brilliant plan that may work to our advantage."

Calliverin smiled as he unrolled a map of Marianopolis with red dots all over it to symbolize the Communist advance. The others, his own company of fanatics, were intently listening to him. "My plan is to rely on chemical weapons. We have some laying around in the city and I think that we must use them."

The others were amazed but did not seem to protest openly about the plan as Calliverin continued to speak. "We shall use chemical weapons starting now, gentlemen. I shall do whatever it takes to destroy the Communists. We shall have all citizens in areas about to be hit by the weapons moved by force."

Calliverin smiled. "This is drastic and possibly inhumane but who really cares? The Communists do much worse acts than this. Pretty soon you shall see an act most horrid in brutality; an act so disgusting that it makes using chemical weapons merely nothing more than conventional or at least a minor sin."

Once the meeting was ended, Calliverin had some soldiers equipped with chemical weapons which they were to use immediately and without mercy or empathy for the enemies they were to use them on. As these chemical soldiers marched towards the front lines, Calliverin smiled. Sure, this may get him a bit of infamy and condemnation, but he really did not care. He wanted them all dead.

OOC: The Siege of Marianopolis is beginning with this post but I'll keep it going for a while until I end it. I plan to make several sidestories, etc while RPing the main story.

The words 'Servant of Satan' could be heard as the Lynion's had just enough. Half the soldiers turned into werewolves while the rest turned into vampires. Their eyes darted around as they suddenly stopped the line. The soldiers stopped the line as vampires and five werewolves went up and down the line picking out Humans that had called them a servant of Satan. They were pushed aside as the soldiers placed the wounded on choppers bound to the medical carriers while the rest were finally lifted off. The ones left behind turned out to be five people.

"What gives you the right to call me a servant of Satan?" snapped Mavis as troops started to load onto the choppers. "Actually, what doesn't give me the right to kill you for insulting my race?"

Day One: August Sixth.

St. Mary's Cathedral was the most famous place of religious worship in the entire Myakkan nation since it was the place where all royal coronations, weddings and funerals were held under the auspices of the Reformed Church of Myakka which functioned according to Calvinist doctrines. The cathedral stood out as one of the few intact buildings among the piles of rubble and only one clergyman could be found within the confines of the cathedral. No one went to church anymore due to the advent of the Siege and many became devotees of the idea of the house church. Gaspard XIX visited the cathedral at times to consult with the lonely clergyman and to pray to God for the salvation of Myakka. He felt, at times, that God was not listening and doubted whether or not his prayers had any real effect upon the realm of mortals. The priest would reassure him all the time and try to convince Gaspard of the merits of prayer but Gaspard, at times, was so depressed that he considered the priest to be a fool to convince him of prayer's merits. Gaspard was suffering from intense depression and felt like his entire world was crashing down. He never expected the conflict to occur and felt like perhaps it was some sort of curse put upon him. He became, in essence, the Royal Job. One day, he had decided to visit the Cathedral again to consult God for assistance. Gaspard considered himself to be an agnostic of sorts but yet would pray at times. He would kneel before the plain altar and uttered solemn words in the Myakkan language with such sadness in his voice that it became a bit depressing just to hear him reach out to the Divine. The Emperor felt that praying was merely a sign of his desparation to find an end to the conflict favorable to him; perhaps, he thought, that he was so desparate that praying to God was merely nothing more than wishing for an unattainable end. Perhaps it was all in vain but, even so, he could never desire to surrender to the Reds. That is just plain anathema. While Gaspard would busy himself with prayers and supplications to the Supreme Being, Empress Laney had been working on helping the wounded and crippled soldiers at a local city hospital. It had been her desire to help them ever since she felt more in tune with them throughout the conflict's course despite her vehement apathy towards politics. She did not care at all for politics but cared for people and that care made her join the medical corps. She was simply called Laney at her own behest albeit many called her Her Majesty and other royal titles that she was so accustomed to hearing. Soldiers loved her compassionate outlook on life. At one time, while pushing the wheelchair of a crippled soldier, she said: ''Never cease to live life. Life does not bow before limitation but rather rejects it and walks its way across the road.''

During walks around the ruins of the street, Laney could see the statue of a militarist angel holding an olive branch in one hand and a sword in the other while her face showed the emotion of anger in its full form. The epitaph was one of the quotes of Gaspard Varan who united the Myakkans in his crusade to make them into one nation. ''Peace must be earned through sacrifice.'' Laney could remember the words of her school teacher who said that peace was the blood soaked treasure of the world. Everyone wanted it but many had to die so that it could be discovered. She could remember her own question: ''Why do people fight and hate one another?''

The teacher smiled and replied: ''Human nature dictates that it is necessary to fight.''

Laney looked upon the statue with tears in her eyes; she kneeled before it and looked up to see the sun shining upon the dormant and inanimate statue. ''Come to us, Peace, and encircle us with thy aura. Save us from our trials and guide us to the light.''

Laney remembered her children and wept even more. She missed them so much that she could never bear to think about them albeit she would contemplate them being in Lamoni. It made her happy to know that they would be safe but it made her sad to see that she may never get the chance to embrace them, to enlighten them, to see them. It shattered her heart and made her feel like her very soul was brutally stabbed to death.

-------------------

The Emperor's Bunker was bustling with activity as everyone was silently devoted to their daily routine under the stress brought upon them by the siege. Everyone was busy working and talking and no one was really able to relax except for only a few people. It was from this bunker connected secretly to the palace that the last vestiges of Monarchist resistance were led under the ruthless guidance of Callverin's Own Company. They were mere fanatics but were so popular among the soldiers who remained in the city to fight the Reds. Callverinists, as they came to be known, were active everywhere and many of them were already rooting out suspected Communist sympathizers and traitors and were dispatching them without mercy since they were vehemently anti-Communist. Calliverin led the campaign against the Reds from his personal office which was small but comfortable and which had a family portrait hanging over his desk; which was covered entirely by maps and reports and it never was cleaned up since Calliverin would just make a mess of things the next day so the maids would be working in vain. Calliverin looked upon the maps on his desk with selective hearing; his eyes fixed on the names of the streets so that he could specifically cordon off streets for his soldiers. Some of those streets, he knew, had brothels for the men to visit whenever they had to chance and this was pleasurably profitable for both the men and the girls albeit some girls were only doing it to help their starving children. Calliverin smiled as his secretary brought him more reports from the frontlines; reading them only made him get quite angry since they showed that the Communists had won a string of victories on the city's outskirts. He became enraged and ordered that his secret operation, Chemische Regen (Dutch for Chemical Rain), begin as soon as possible. Calliverin knew that this operation would bring him much condemnation but he did not really give a damn about what people would think about it. All that mattered to him was the eradication of Communism. He would pass judgement upon the vermin. ''It shall begin soon...' he uttered to himself. ''The destruction of the Communists in a man made Hell.''

Calliverin laughed violently in his chair. "Let the world condemn me for what I am about to do....the Communists are pests and I'm simply using my pesticide!"

Each person began to explain themselves:

Person One: "I was only joking around and did not mean to offend like the piece of shit religious wackjob standing next to me. I tolerate all religions and the like, yes, but I loathe people like him. Don't kill me....because you'd kill a person who is actually quite TOLERANT!"

Person Three: "I was only uttering the words under my breath in a sense of contemplation. I did not mean to take part in any insulting, sir. I have a lady that needs my company on the ship so please don't kill me....don't take me from her."

Person Four: "Why am I being condemned here? I did nothing!"

Person Five: "This is another example of why humans are doomed to a cycle of death. Quite pathetic but yet necessary at times."

"Well, that's not my problem." After 6 hours, a man in his late 20's came into the room with 2 guards. "Now. I'm going to need your names, dates of birth and social security numbers. Some indentification would be helpful as well. I'm also going to need to know exactly what you were doing outside when the curfew had come to effect."

Stever sighed and nodded to one of the guards. After a few moments the guard returned with a bucket of clear liquid. The guards forced Ion's feet into the bucket. The liquid was nitric acid. "Now, before your feet dissolve, tell me where your friends are."

Mavis listend to the five people's explaination as he turned to his lieutenant and five captains. They muttered amongest themselves and turned back to the five people. Mavis took person one out in front of the others.

"Your humour is a low life and you expect me to take that remark as a joke. Yet you expect me to understand you and take in the remarks," started Mavis. "For that I give you a last warning and only warning. Say any of those remarks in Lynion the natives will kill you or feed off you. Go now, board the choppers and be at peace with yourself," finished Mavis.

Person Two: "You are, indeed, a servant of Satan. That's all I'll say. Go ahead and kill me. I'll be with God while you rot in Hell."

He walked towards the next person and pulled him out of the line. He looked at him as his tentacles waited for the order to rip him apart.

"You have called me a Servant of Satan. You have called the Imperial Guardians, the Vamperial Order and our leaders Servants of Satan," started Mavis. "Yet you do not fear death which admire about Christians. I may not be a man of God nor a Servant of Satan thus, I do not control your fate but your words will decide your fate if any Lynion hears of those words in Lynion. Be careful of what you say in Lynion when you reach it. Be at peace with yourself and board the choppers with the other one," finished Mavis.

Person Three: "I was only uttering the words under my breath in a sense of contemplation. I did not mean to take part in any insulting, sir. I have a lady that needs my company on the ship so please don't kill me....don't take me from her."

The next one stepped out as Mavis came to him as he listened to his words. He looked to the chopper's as the lady he was referring to him was begging one of the soldiers to do something.

"Your words did not reach my ears but yet I can sense honestly inside of you," started Mavis. "Since I can tell you love that woman much and she loves you much, I will spare your life. Be warn; words like that in Lynion can mean death if they're taken in by the wrong way and consider that your only warning. Be at peace with yourself and go forth to your woman and comfort her in these dark times," finished Mavis.

Person Four: "Why am I being condemned here? I did nothing!"

Mavis listened to the next person words and looked at him as he sensed the lies within of him.

"You've tried to lied to me about how I stand before you. Since I don't take lying lightly, you will be punished accordingly to your response," replied Mavis as a captain came over to the man with fangs in his jaws.

"Ok boy, this is the end of the line for you. I'm going to give you a choice, a painless or painful death?" asked the captain as Mavis moved onto the next one.

Person Five: "This is another example of why humans are doomed to a cycle of death. Quite pathetic but yet necessary at times."

Mavis listened to his words of speech as he pulled him out and looked at him.

"Humans have always being like this and you're right," started Mavis. "It is necessary at times to kill people and this is one of those times,"

The husband of the woman had stayed close to his wife's side as he got onto the ship with the Lamonian medic. He had never ceased to stand by her side and never stopped talking to her as he sat in the room that she was given while his daughter just stared at her beloved mother emotionlessly. The man spent his time recounting old tales of love and happiness while the woman had just showed signs of life by weakly moving her pale hands and feeling the ring upon her finger. If James was listening, he could hear the man tell his wife about how he fondly remembered when they first met.

James stayed near the family; far enough away to be sure that their privacy was respected, but close enough that he could hear if he were called. Every half hour or so, a nurse would come in to check on the patient, and make notations on the chart.

After a few such rounds, James himself came into the room, looked at the chart and talked to the husband. "Your wife appears to be responding to the medication; but she won't be getting off of that hospital bed anytime soon. We will continue to take good care of her, and we can set up cots for you and your children to sleep on in the next room when you are ready. Just ask the ship's personell when you are ready, and we can accommodate you."

To: President Andrew Stinson of the Free Republic of Lamoni

President,

I am pleased to hear that you have declared your acceptance of all Myakkan refugees including our Government in Exile and I am pleased to see that Lamonians are helping the Myakkan people through these times of trouble. The Red Rose Manor shall be where the Myakkan Government in Exile shall be headquartered and will be led by my son, Prince Gaspard, who upon my death shall be coronated as Gaspard XX. I must thank you for your support in these times.

Signed,
HRH Gaspard XIX

In the desert eastern half of Lamoni near Richland, new apartment blocks were being built. These would house the Myakkan refugees that came to the Free Republic. Until they were completed, the refugees would have to live in tent cities nearby the apartment blocks, and even some decommissioned naval ships; but things were moving swiftly. Along with the apartment blocks, all the other essentials of modern cities were springing up... from Industry to Grocery Stores, and from Parks to Sewage Systems. It was fortunate that the eastern half of the country had always been less well populated as the forested western half of the country; allowing for much room for the Myakkans to be housed in.

The Holy Empire of Anemos will send its 2nd Battle Fleet to take refugees to a nearby naval island port, Kelsin, however, in order to be able to quickly retreat we will not deploy helicopters or transport planes, instead, we will drop off APCs at predetermined positions, what happens to them is up to the refugees. They are old models so even if they fall into Soviet hands it is not a problem, and if the refugees use them as transport to our position we will transmit the coordinates of our location to the refugees. Beware, however; if we are attacked then we will not hesitate to begin long-range tactical missile warfare and mass-bombings.

The CoDs were aggressive but played smart, they weren't about to become cannon fodder and also began moving to any location that could give an edge. The Communists were amazed to see the attackers but not for so long since many of them were being shot or, at times, hacked to death by the Foresters and the Greywatch soldiers. Sarah had confidently been shooting the Communists with her assualt rifle from her makeshift barricade of wood; often killing her targets with a couple of shots. She laughed, in fact, as she shot them and she laughed so violently that she began to derive pleasure from death. "Take this! Let your blood spill as atonement for your sins!"

Memories of her village being razed angered her as they filled her mind. She screamed as she fired; urging her men to give the enemy NO mercy. This was to be a war of aggression...a crusade.

"You should become a man of God. It will save your soul." The man said.

"Thank you, sir!"

The man smiled briefly at Mavis before he ran to the chopper to embrace the woman of his dreams who seemed to be attempting to shout her thanks to Mavis before giving her man a tender kiss. At last, she thought, they could get out of Myakka together.

Mavis listened to the next person words and looked at him as he sensed the lies within of him.

"You've tried to lied to me about how I stand before you. Since I don't take lying lightly, you will be punished accordingly to your response," replied Mavis as a captain came over to the man with fangs in his jaws.

"Lie to you I have not tried to do! Are you going to kill me but yet spare that religious wackjob? Kill him! We don't need him! His people are ruining the world!" (OOC: He thinks that all fundamentalists, regardless of religion, ruin the world)

"Ok boy, this is the end of the line for you. I'm going to give you a choice, a painless or painful death?" asked the captain as Mavis moved onto the next one.

"This can't be happening."

Mavis listened to his words of speech as he pulled him out and looked at him.

"Humans have always being like this and you're right," started Mavis. "It is necessary at times to kill people and this is one of those times,"

The man smiled. "People will never cease to kill each other; it is human nature to fight for land and so forth. This is merely nothing more, sir, than fighting for land. Yet, I feel that it is all so un-necessary so I'm thankful to be going to Lynion. Hopefully there I can start anew."

The FMs began sniping whoever was stupid enough to expose themselves. CoDs meanshilw grabbed their weapons and began pushing forward, being sure to take cover whenever possible. Greywatch soldiers gave covering fire while the CoDs moved forward. Afte renough enemies were down, the Greywatch soldiers ran forward and took cover once more. A few grenades were thrown forward to get the enemy out of any hole they were hiding in. The entire Greywatch firce was more or less silent except for the CoDs, who were chanting and swearing at their opponants.

Girl One: "My name is Iona Sparden, born on November 18th, 1993 with no social security number but I do have my ID from the local school I attend. We were ALL at my house to get some stuff for our slumber party and we did not know about the curfew. None of us knew."

Girl Two: "My name is Mary Lindares, born on September 1st, 1992 with no social security number but with my ID from the local school; all of us attend the same one. Iona speaks the truth, sir. We were only getting some DVDs and supplies from Iona's house. We didn't know about the curfew and did not mean to be out too long since it was getting dark but we do live relatively close to each other....the party was being held at my house and all our parents know each other."

Girl Three: "My name is Elizabeth Karan, born on July 14th, 1992 with no social security number but with my school identification card. I can't tell you anything but repeat what Mary and Iona said about what we were doing. I hope that you'll let us go soon since I don't want to make our parents worry about us."

OOC: I may bring in the parents soon.

Stever sighed and nodded to one of the guards. After a few moments the guard returned with a bucket of clear liquid. The guards forced Ion's feet into the bucket. The liquid was nitric acid. "Now, before your feet dissolve, tell me where your friends are."

"Colonel, are you deaf?"

"We are in place Vrahl." "Us too." whispered Dee and Mao.
"Right ok, on our mark, when you hear the first explosion, begin to climb up the bank, by the time you get up there, we shall be across, and will be needing both your assistance." ordered Vrahl.
Two Tank Hunter Scorpian jeeps selected their targets, as did two snipers. sweat ran down private Darling's face as he stalked his target across the river, waiting for the order. "Fire" exclaimed Vrahl, trying to whisper, instantaneously Darling fired at his mark, as did the other sniper, before the enemy realised where the shots rang from, two missiles shot above their heads and towards the MG emplacements.

"What the hell?!"

These were the only words of a Monarchist soldier before he got destroyed by those missles fired by the Burtilanans; leaving his comrades-at-arms to begin firing at them without any mercy; machine gun bullets covered the air so much that it felt like they were a swarm of insects aiming straight after Vrahl and his men.

The Monarchist officer shouted to his men. "Kill them! Kill them all!"

Day Eighth: August 15th

It had not been long since the Communists inhumanely destroyed the field hospital where the Empress of Myakka worked at with napalm bombs so that the occupants would all essentially burn alive. Laney and only one other nurse, Mary Elizabeth, had survived by getting out for a walk moments before the attack occured. They were just walking through ruins and rubble with a group of Monarchist citizens that had found them. Laney and Mary Elizabeth would spend their time talking about the people they loved; with Mary Elizabeth saying that she was supposed to get married to her soldier fiancee but did not know if he was even alive. She wept because she could remember the day when he proposed to her and the day when she first met him as students in college. The buxom redhead was uncontrollably lamenting and Laney, who knew her pain, comforted her with a smile. "You'll see him again. You'll see him again. Don't worry."

The Empress knew that her personal health was in danger because if she was captured, she could be dragged to a subway station and raped on the pretext that the men were checking her papers. She knew that Mary Elizabeth, as well, was in the same danger and knew that both of them would be prime targets. Who would not want the woman praised as the sexiest member of the Imperial Court or a buxom redhead of a nurse for some carnal pleasure? It made her shiver and it made her fear.

While the Empress had been busy comforting Mary Elizabeth, she did not know that General Calliverin had taken the reins of power from the depressed and heartbroken Emperor who prayed for his wife's safety with every minute that passed. His eyes were filled, for the first time, with tears. One guard could tell you how Gaspard would utter words about the days he spent with Laney. "I remember when we would run to the great tree and just have fun. I remember when Laney would always take pictures of things and how she was so ignorant of politics. I remember when we first made love and when our first child was born....I remember when she was still beside me."

Day Ninth: August 16th:

"Soon we shall see a chemical hell poured all over the Communist vermin. We'll see them suffer and die."

General Calliverin looked upon the stockpiles of chemical weapons being brought outside for the soldiers to obtain and immediately use against the Red Hordes attacking the capital. It was amazing to see how much chemicals and what kinds he could get his hands on but he was going to use all of it regardless. Even if it was Agent Orange or Anthrax, he'd use it. He wanted them all to die and wanted them to suffer much pain. The chemical soldiers were mobilized and sent out into the streets. When the Red Hordes were approaching their positions, the chemical soldiers released their potent gases and chemicals into the air and watched as they spread toward the Red Hordes. The Communists began to vomit and choke when in contact with the chemicals and many of them were falling to their deaths like mere dominoes. Callverin laughed violently as he watched this all unfold. He wanted them all to suffer so much. The Communists were running for their lives but many of them were dying and dead upon the streets; shot by machine gun fire and burned to death by napalm bombs.

Chemical Rain....was a successful operation but would it be enough to obtain victory?

"SHIT!!" shouted Vrahl "RETREAT, my squad, RETREAT!"
Luckily most were in the jeeps, behind bullet proof glass, the snipers kept low, under the gun fire. Vrahl's jeeps reversed in a cloud of dust, out of sight. "Shit, was not expecting them to react so quickly!"
The other two squads began climb the enemy river bank, the engine noise covered by gunfire, they almost silently sped up the banks, a few flash bangs were thrown. FLASH FLASH FLASH they all exploded, "GO GO GO" the remaining squads flew over the bank, hitting a few crates, all guns blazing, the snipers on Vrahl's side began to fire again.

Open Letter to the Party of the Karuchean Revolution

It has come to our attention that your brand of Communist thought is heavily influenced by militarist thought which dictates the prevalence of the military class in a nation's society which seems to be significantly different from our belief that the army is merely the weapon of the Proletariat. The army, indeed, serves as the defenders of the Proletariat. We, despite our differences, welcome Karuchean support and wish to meet with your nation's leaders when peace is restored. We admired Karuchean thought and may adopt some of its doctrines in Myakka when we have taken control. We emulate the great deeds of Stalin and Mao who fought against Trotskyism and other heresies that would infect the minds of the people. Karuchean Thought, as we call it, is indeed a proper path for the Revolutionaries of the world to follow.

We fully accept the support of the Karuchean nation and people in our struggle to bring about the Communization of Myakka and the extermination of the oppressors who pollute our nation. It is essential that you send your support soon so we may not only finish our enemies and capture the capital but purge Myakka of undesirable elements and wipe out the last vestiges of outdated systems such as Monarchism. Thomas Millone, our great leader, welcomes Karuchean supporters to Myakka and hopes that we may unite under the banner of the Internationale.

We may not support exporting the Revolution until we have achieved Socialism in Our Nation but we do support any assistance given to us in the hopes of achieving total Communization. We look forward to further correspondence with you.

Private Letter to Thomas Millone:
Dear Comrade and Brother,
I hope you are doing well, as are your revolutionary forces. You know by now that the PKR is sending supplies, know that these are just gifts to be given while we gather more. Nothing we give you we expect to be repaid by anything other than revolutionary success.

I would make a simple suggestion, that being to establish as soon as possible a "Provisional Revolutionary Government" which would immediately be recognized by our nation as the legitimate government of Myakka. This would allow us greater international mobility, as we would be officially aiding a fellow government and not a rebellion. This being said, I must ask: What do you need to make the revolution succeed?

We are fully prepared to double supplies given or to send our own People's Army to fight for the Myakkan people and their revolution. Simply ask and we shall help.

Your brother-in-revolution,
Karim Ahmad

Day Ten: August 17th

It appeared, as a fact to Callverin's Own Company, that Operation Chemical Rain was a complete success despite the knowledge that more and more Communists were piling into the city with tremendous speed. Calliverin grew impatient and angry with every minute that passed. He hoped that the city could hold out with whatever supplies they had left but was confident that he'd die drowning in Communist blood. That was a death he loved to dream about. He could smell the corpses and see the blood being spilt all around him as he walked out of the bunker to see what was going on. Tanks and infantry were running around and blasting each other to mere bits without any concern. It was war and necessity dictated the eradication of all enemies. Calliverin, when looking at the carnage, would say to his comrades: "Killing is an art and we do it exceptionally well."

Day Ten had come with a bang, said the Emperor, as he laid dormantly upon his comfortable bed while looking at the picture of his wife that he kept around him. It saddened him to think of what she could be going through even if he kept thinking that she was a strong and brave woman able to handle herself but such thoughts of the courageous Empress did not dispel the thoughts of the tormented Empress from his mind. Those thoughts were firmly entrenched in his mind like stubborn weeds one would find in the Imperial Gardens. Gaspard rose from his bed and tucked the picture away before looking upon the book of poetry that was on his desk. He picked it up to read: "Peace soaks her dress in blood and dines at the table of gore. She is a guest in the house of Chaos."

Gaspard smirked. "Chaos reigns on top the pile of corpses; those of the dead slain in the name of falsehood and who fought for liberty!" He put the book down on the desk and pulled out the picture of his wife with a smile upon his face. "Laney, my love, will I ever see thy face again? Will I ever feel thy smooth skin and bask in the love which we, for years, hath cultivated? Laney, my love, I pine for you. Be safe."

-------------

While the Emperor read his poetry and while Calliverin orchestrated the deaths of many Communists, Empress Laney had been walking in the ruins of Marianopolis with Mary Elizabeth and the Monarchist partisans while listening to the rumbling of artillery and gun fire all around her and it made her nervous albeit not enough to make her shed the peace that she cultivated within. Sure, there was death all around her, but she would make sure that she would endure. The Empress was walking when, out of the blew, mortars rained down upon her group with most of the Monarchist partisans wiped out while Laney took hold of Mary Elizabeth; running with her to find shelter in the face of attack. They ran and ran through the ruins before bumping straight into a Communist patrol. "Two lasses, eh? Excellent. We've needed some good company."

The men licked their lips while Laney stood firm against them. "Take me and spare the other girl." The stern Empress spoke calmly in front of the horrified Mary Elizabeth. Sure, Laney was offering herself to save her, but it was still horrifying to think that she could be a victim of mass rape. Laney turned and smiled at Mary Elizabeth before turning back to the Reds who were still licking their lips and drooling over Laney like she was some girl in a porno magazine. "I will offer my body to you in exchange that you spare my friend. Think about it, gentlemen. I know what you want."

The Communist leader smiled. "Fine by me. Men, take her to the subway. I go first."

Mary Elizabeth looked at Laney as she was dragged away by the Communists who were discussing crude and horrific ways of treating this woman. When they eventually found out that she was the Empress, that made things more intriguing to them. The Empress was in their rapacious hands and they smiled as they swarmed her like locusts on a wheat field. As Mary Elizabeth walked alone in the streets, she did not hear Laney's violent screams from the faraway subway nor the Communists' radio telegram to their leaders that the wife of the oppressor was captured albeit her cruel treatment, that is, being raped by her captors repeatedly, was omitted. The subways would become the private hells of many women. Laney was just one of the lost souls whose pleas for salvation from the torment of their captors went unanswered by God and Man. She was abandoned. She was insignificant in a nation that once praised her as the bastion of beauty and charm. She was nothing but a lost soul.

------------------

"Her Majesty has been captured!"

Mary Elizabeth had run straight to the Emperor's Bunker and ran straight to its namesake to tell him about the horrifying events that she had been through before ending with the capture of the Empress and how she sacrificed herself for her sake. She had to run through hell to get to the bunker and survived it without any care. All she wanted was for the Emperor to know about what happened to his wife. The Emperor looked solemnly upon Mary Elizabeth and did nothing but sigh and feel heartbroken. "Give me my rifle."

The soldiers nearby demanded that Gaspard stay in the bunker but he vehemently refused to do so. He had had enough of the Communists and was going to get revenge. "I shall fight, my friends, for my wife. I shall fight for Myakka." He looked upon the soldiers with a look of total anger upon his smooth face and it made them fully aware that he was ready to die if need be for the defense of all that he held dear.

Gaspard ordered his personal guard to follow him outside while Mary Elizabeth watched in awe before being tapped on the shoulder by Calliverin. "Did you see any Communist defensive positions? We must make sure that we know where those nests of vermin are so we may destroy them and eradicate their occupants."

Mary Elizabeth began to speak about what she had seen; not knowing that Gaspard and his Imperial Guard were now under heavy gunfire from the Red armies approaching them. Gaspard knew it all too well. He'd be a captive or a corpse. Gaspard shot down plenty of Communists as he shouted to his men: "Stand tall and fight, soldiers! Thou art members of the Imperial Guard! Bring death to our foes!"

"Alright, board the chopper and be at peace with yourself," finished Mavis as he boarded the chopper. "Alright, that's the last of them. Let's go now,"

Mavis heart sank as he watched the last of the Lynion's being evacuated. However, it came at a cost 24 Lynion Assassin's were strandard inside the capital with no escape route.

"Priest, what type of man am I if I leave my own men behind?" asked Mavis to the priest.

Inside the capital

Major Amos King and 23 other Assassin's were far from the front lines. They went to the evacuation zone and found no choppers waiting for them. They were offically strandard. Amos looked around as the other 23 were itching for a fight.

"Well," started Amos. "It seems we're strandard, the Commie's are coming from the north and the monarchist are lossing the fight. Any suggestion?"

Jones and another Assassin looked around and noticed someone was in need of help.

"Major, it seems our allies are in need of trouble," pointed out Jones.

"Captain Ling, take ten men and flank the enemy forces. Captain Jack, take another six and setup positions around the section. I'll take the remaining eight and reinforce our allies. Remember, keep low, stay sharp and take out the Commie's quick and quietly," ordered Amos.

The squads went into position as Major Amos went to reinforce their allies while the others flanked the enemy position.

Coastal Point 54-1, Anemos Battle Fleet 'Invincible' 5th element docking point

"Lord Sailis, the Invincible is ready to retreat at any time, and it's been three days since we sent the message. Perhaps the APCs have been seized, and perhaps the Communists know of our current position." Lord Sailis turned to his aide, a Commander, and told him "Commander, Rome wasn't built in a day and I'll be damned if this takes a day either. We have an amphibious landing ship waiting just in case, so I doubt there will be any problem. Now, go and-" Lord Sailis was cut off by the radar officer's voice, which shouted "Warning! Five unidentified flying objects heading towards IFAM Trinity! ETA 20 seconds!" "What!" shouted Sailis and with good reason as well. The Trinity was the amphibious landing ship.

One Su-17 banked towards the Trinity, followed by four Su-7 fighter bombers. The planes were old, but the Su-7s had been configured and upgraded to use much newer weapons and had completely new cockpits. Each one carried eight Harpoon anti-ship missiles on racks, however, the Su-17 carried the true danger: a rudimentary, but certainly effective Fuel Air Explosive Bomb. The Su-7s began to launch their missiles and they tried to pull away, but one pilot, unable to compensate for the weight loss quickly enough, lost control for a moment and was shot down by a nearby destroyer, the Athena. However as the thirty-two Harpoons neared their target the Su-17 unleashed its deadly payload and the entire sea seemed to explode upwards as the FAEB detonated. "My god..." murmured Sailis as the Trinity was obliterated. He quickly turned and shouted "Send a message to Kelsin. We have just taken damage from a communist unit and are awaiting reinforcement! IFAM Trinity has been sunk! Requesting a threat assessment of area and mass landings!" As he spoke, the radar officer shouted "Sir, the planes are coming back to strafe!" "Dammit!" shouted Sailis and he added "Hard to starboard, open fire with all AA guns! Open AAROC launchers, load with AA cluster ammunition! Brace for impact!" As the entire crew cowered, the planes were shot down instead and before the entire battle fleet came a group of Rafale fighters painted in Anemos Navy colours, and the squadron commander said over the radio "This is 5th squadron of Navy Carrier Battlefleet Invincible to 5th element. Our 7 remaining Mistral-class amphibious assault ships are ready to commence landings. Please cover the landings." Sailis stood and said "Much appreciated. Now, troops, send the message, cover the landings and avenge the Trinity!"

"Do you think these supplies are enough?" asked Karim Ahmad as he sat at his desk. "Of course Comrade" replied his secretary, Lin Xi. "No, they are not, we shall double what we have already sent!" replied Karim.

Karim Ahmad stood about 6 feet tall, with dark hair slicked back, he sat in his army uniform. He knew about warfare and revolution, perhaps more than anything else, a product of the military, he had led the Free Officers Movement that established Karuchean Socialism.

"Comrade Leader, what do you request?" asked a younger man in military uniform as he entered the room. "Take a seat" was the reply from Karim. The young man was Omar Bakdash, a young officer in the army, trained as a commissar, he had played a vital role in crushing a suspected counter-revolution. "Comrade Bakdash, you will get these supplies to our Comrades in Myakka, and you will not fail. You will stand-by at that point, if our allies request our army to move in, you will lead the move. Is that understood?" Surprised at the confidence placed in him, Bakdash could only respond with a nod. "Do not be worried, you are fighting for Socialism, and history is on our side, so what is there to be afraid of?" said Karim, "Now, you better be moving, send directly to my office if you need anything else."

As Omar Bakdash saluted and left, thoughts poured in his head about failure, but he quickly dismissed them, thinking "history is on our side."

Two hours later he was in Ahmadi Military Base near the border. "Choppers and anything that moves quickly and efficiently, we have a mission to do!" shouted Bakdash as the wave of supplies were loaded. The amount of cargo planes and choppers were enormous, supported by 30 MiG 37s and 50 MiG 35s, the supplies began their way towards Myakka. Sending the signal to the pre-designated code: "Comrades of the Communist forces in Myakka, this is the People's Army of Karuchea with supplies, clear a landing zone and we will drop the supplies off."

Meanwhile, the Karuchean People's Army mobilized a small force of 150,000. These forces assembled near the Karuchean border, fully armed and equipped with Karuchean technology, their supplies and very look stated the simple fact that this was indeed a military country, run by and for the military, every uniform, gun, plane and tank made in Karuchea. Karim Ahmad personally met the troops, inspecting them and delivering a speech to them: "Comrades, today our brothers in Myakka carry out Revolution, as we ourselves carried it out in our own country. They are fighting the forces of feudal reaction, as a result, there will be violence and turmoil. If they call upon us, we will move and you will move under the command of Comrade Bakdash. Treat the Myakkan revolutionaries as your brothers and sisters, for that is what they are; treat Myakka as if it were your own country and treat the reactionary, feudal forces with no mercy, they have lost their rights as people, so do not confuse them for such. For World Socialism!" "For World Socialism!" responded the soldiers. They marched to prepare for the offensive as they awaited the signal from the Myakkan revolutionaries.

Day Twelth: August 18th

"Karuchea has decided to land upon our shores with its armies of vermin and pests."

Calliverin sighed as he looked upon the reports that he recieved from one of his assistants before sending him away to continue his work. It seemed, to him, that the world was collapsing before his very eyes and that the Communists may, though he never wanted to say it, actually triumph over Calliverin and his fanatics and, therefore, over the centuries-old Monarchy which had been fighting ever since the student riots. The Emperor had closed himself in his personal study while the Empress vanished without a trace. Mary Elizabeth was busy talking to the nurses of the bunker and Calliverin, the middle aged madman, was now planning his second strike. His idea was to rely on the Chemical Corps hastily created for use in the Battle for Marianopolis. The Chemical Corps were heavily armored soldiers armed with gas masks and all sorts of bombs and grenades filled with chemicals. They would be sent out, from time to time, to thrust viruses upon their foes. Many Communists were already sick and dying and the viruses were spreading in their camp. This made Callverin very happy. While he was busy looking at reports, the Chemical Corps was attacking the Communists; relying on sarin bombs. The Communists were forced back in many parts, yes, but they came back in larger numbers most of the time. The Chemical Corps, though, continued their attack with many parts of the city tainted by airborne viruses. When asked about the negative long-term effects of the attacks, Calliverin replied: ''It doth not matter. What matters is that the attacks work!''

The Myakkan Communists designated a site near the capital as the drop site for the Karuchean supplies and hoped that the Karucheans would add extra pressure to the Monarchists by attacking the capital with their own army of 150,000. Thomas Millone was pleased to see the Karucheans assist him in his crusade and the Myakkan Communists immediately used the Karuchean supplies in their battles with the Monarchists. In the capital, the Emperor had been fighting in the streets with his Imperial Guard when he had been surrounded by Communist foes. He killed many of them but they just kept coming. Eventually they took him as a prisoner when they decided to use a tank or two. The Emperor, now, was a mere prisoner of war. News of the Emperor`s capture spread like wildfire with Callverin, now enraged, taking control of what was left of Monarchist Myakka with an iron fist. The Emperor, in captivity, was locked away in a Communist tent with a familiar woman. His battered and beaten wife, Empress Laney, had survived the horrid assualts of men and was now tied up and awaiting being locked in a prison cell. They could talk to each other but were both tied up in chains and ropes. They only talked briefly before the leader of the Communist attack on Marianopolis found them. He was Adam Linare; a middle aged man who looked like a bodybuilder with his muscles. He examined Gaspard and Laney with his eyes before smiling. ''You are now prisoners and I suggest that you not try anything funny.''

Gaspard noticed Laney's bruises and knew that she had been most likely raped. It enraged him but he made sure that he did not get all rowdy lest he be tasered since the guards were armed with tasers. As Adam walked out of the tent, he could hear the guards making Gaspard watch as Laney was nearly tasered to death. He, though, did not intervene. He simply listened to the screams. Finally, after much screaming, the horrified Laney was down on the ground while shaking in convulsions. The guards smiled and left. Gaspard looked at his wife and tried to get to her but all she could do was weep and shake on the ground. They both expected torture but it would appear to Gaspard that his torture would just be watching Laney suffer.

The Communists had been able to get into much of the city with only small parts of it being protected by stubborn soldiers of the Chemical Corps and Monarchist citizens who went to arms in defense of the Crown. The Communists took over many historical landmarks such as St. Mary's Cathedral where monarchs were coronated, wed and laid to rest. The Imperial Crypt and Communists posed for pictures outside the tomb of Gaspard the First who founded the Myakkan Empire and the Monarchy. Many of them were split. Gaspard was, indeed, an oppressor but he did make Myakka a nation. What would they do? Condemn him or cherish him despite his sins?

The Communists were steadily approaching the Emperor's Bunker while Calliverin decided that it would be best to go out in style. He and his entire company of fanatics took up arms with some workers and left the bunker after getting Mary Elizabeth and others smuggled on a lone plane out of the city which would take them to Lamoni or at least somewhere safe. The bunker was empty and everything of value was taken onto the plane. The Empress' secret picture made for the Emperor was also taken onto the plane. Even some soldiers such as Mary Elizabeth's fiancee had been smuggled onto the plane. The plane flew calmly over the ruins of Marianopolis with Mary Elizabeth's fiancee, John Mark, looking down upon it and saying: ''Shall we ever see thee again, beloved city?''

Those soldiers left behind in the city were being led by General Calliverin and his company of fanatics who rejected leaving the city in favor of staying around to fight and die. Calliverin armed his men with cyanide capsules and pistol ammunition in the idea that they should commit suicide to avoid capture. They were now fighting from an abandoned warehouse since the Palace and its bunker compound fell into Communist hands. The Palace was utterly barren since everything, including the throne, had been smuggled into Lamoni. Communists signed their names onto the Palace walls while some gave themselves a tour of the home of their oppressors and their children. In the abandoned warehouse, a lone medic debated with the soldiers who were left. He wasn't sure if suicide was indeed the best option. It did not take long for the debate to be interrupted with news of the Palace's capture. Calliverin then rose from his seat in the warehouse, a throne of boxes, and smiled. ''Anyone who desires to be free of this horrid life should, at once, join me in ending it.''

Calliverin and his men lined up into one row with their cyanide capsules in their mouths and the pistols at their heads although some went out to die and the medic decided he'd disguise himself as a refugee. Calliverin and his men began to sing the Myakkan anthem before shouting, at the top of their lungs, ''God Save the Emperor!'' and, biting into their capsules, shot themselves point blank into their own heads with all of them falling at the same time to the ground. The medic was able to get himself free of capture because he unwittingly got attached to a widow's group as they fled the city towards greener pastures. The city officially fell on midnight with the Communists sending this message to all who remained inside.

''Brothers and Sisters,

The Myakkan Revolution has succeeded in capturing our beloved capital from those who seek to oppress you in the name of Monarchism and Capitalism. We have come to this city to eradicate them and to bring you all closer to the Revolution's enlightening doctrines. As of this moment, all of you are to be loyal to our great leader, Thomas Millone, and to all servants of the Revolution. Failure to comply shall result in severe punishment.''

With no Emperor and no Callverin, the Myakkan Monarchists were without any clear leader but decided that they should fight without any leaders and that to fight was far more better than to merely surrender against the Communists who declared that Myakka was now a People's Republic. The Monarchists were left with a small enclave to the south blockaded by Communists on land and sea since the Western Front began to collapse albeit they decided that they would do a hook strategy; attacking from behind while attacking from above.

OOC: Basically, the capital has been captured along with the Emperor and his wife. Calliverin committed suicide with his loyal supporters and the Monarchists are stubbornly fighting even though they only have bits of land left to form one small enclave. This conflict will end most likely today or tomorrow but I got plans for future RPs.

Omar Bakdash sat at the border when a communication came through, "All forces, make your advance, secure the Revolution in Myakka!", it was from the Leader himself. This was the moment that the People's Army had been waiting for, as well as Bakdash. Omar Bakdash gave the orders and the 150,000 strong Karuchean People's Army began their deployment, their LZ for supplies had been near the capital and that is where they were heading. The Karuchean People's Army headed into Myakka was 10 Primary Divisions and 30 Secondary. The 10 primary divisions were the armored divisions, the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 10th being Tank Divisions, mainly consisting of T-100 series tanks as well as some T-99s. The 2nd, 5th and 6th divisions were artillery divisions. The 8th and 9th divisions of the Armed Forces were Air Force divisions, mainly using MiG-40s, but also a handful of MiG-38s. The other 20 Secondary Divisions were infantry, most mechanized at least to have PKR-Series APCs.

Meanwhile, the Great Leader and Teacher of the Revolution Marshal Karim Ahmad sat at his desk. He called to the Premier of the State Council, Pak Han-chul. "Comrade Pak, stay on the line with our Myakkan Comrades, ensure that our troops enter the capital and supervise General Bakdash." "Yes, Comrade Leader" was the reply.

Karim Ahmad mused to himself, "I suppose the world needed a second truly Socialist country." He prepared some token Red Guard units for a military parade to be held soon. He would be meeting with various delegations soon and as always, wanted to make an impression with a military parade, except this time, it would be a parade to celebrate the Myakkan Revolution. Ahmad then sent a note to Myakka:

Beloved Comrade Thomas Millone,
Our forces are making their way into Myakka as we speak, they are there to defend you and your glorious Revolution as well as to advance its victories. We wholeheartedly invite you yourself, or if you cannot make it, and of course I can understand why, a delegation from your group to come to the capital of Karuchea. We will be holding a military parade and celebration for your revolutionary successes.

If there is anything you require or need, feel free to ask. Comrade Premier Pak, as the Head of Government is the official line of communication for this operation, so contact him if you need anything.

Karim Ahmad.

Comrade Ahmad,

I am pleased to hear that your soldiers are coming into Myakka to assist in the consolidation of the Myakkan Revolution and to advance its victories over the oppressors whom we have finally defeated for the most part after many days of bloodshed and struggle. I would be more than willing to attend a parade in Karuchea but, if I am unable to, then we shall send men like Adam Calavera to Karuchea to represent Myakka. Let us work together, Comrade, for the People's sake.

Signed,
Thomas Millone,
Father of the Myakkan Revolution

As Omar Bakdash arrived near the Myakkan capital, he saw the destruction the war had caused, but he also fealt something in the air, an feeling of hope. The Myakkan Communists had already captured much of the country, especially the capital, so his work was going to be fairly easy, to protect the capital and use the primary divisions to snuff out Feudal forces in the South.

As Bakdash reflected on history, he knew that history itself was quite a misnomer, after all, many things in Karuchea hadn't exactly gone as history has written. He had been alive at the time of the Revolutionary coup and remembered that it was student demonstrations which led to the army couping the President and calling for Socialism. Yet, history books now said that it was the Army who single handidly carried out the Revolution. During the revolutionary civil war, there were several countries which had aided Karuchea, yet in textbooks, Karuchea herself defeated the reactionary forces and their international allies, single handidly! The Great Leader and Teacher, Karim Ahmad of course, as Bakdash was old enough to know, didn't personally lead every great battle and victory and himself had led many unsuccessful campaigns, but no one dared to speak that. Bakdash actually wondered if no-one dared speak it, or if no-one knew, after all, the younger generation which was now entering higher Party and Military ranks didn't experiance the Revolution firsthand and hence, would only know the tales of the Revolution. Bakdash stopped his thought as the troops assembled.

As they prepared to march into the capital, Bakdash thought to himself: "This will perhaps be played by the annals of history. In Karuchea, people will know this moment and say that we liberated Myakka, even if that isn't how things went."

Meanwhile, back in the Karuchean capital, Premier Pak Han-Chul got word of the Myakkan victory in the capital. Smiling, he said "This is a great day, soon the entire world will recognize the greatness of Comrade Ahmad." Pak Han-Chul was a younger cadre and a man of Sino-Korean descent whose grandparents had, like many moved to Karuchea to work in colonial feudal times. He had quickly risen up the Party ranks, at the age of 29, he could himself only remember some of the Revolution. When the Anti-Christian campaigns had come, he renounced Christianity, after all, he had something he considered greater, Karim Ahmad. He had grown up with Karim Ahmad as his hero, he rode on every word Ahmad said and posted various quotations around his apartment. This of course, was reason enough for promotion in the PKR and allowed Pak to rise to Head of Government in quick time. His role as Head of Government was truly a misnomer, for he was the head of little and ran no government, all things were run by Karim Ahmad. As the 20th anniversary of the Revolution neared, Pak was in-charge of devoting things to Karim Ahmad and had personally sponsored renaming the capital, Karucha to Ahmadia. He also was responsible for putting a portrait of Karim Ahmad in every household and public building. This, he did with great zeal. Soon, he gave the orders.

Premier Pak Han-Chul sent the messages to the troops: "Foreward march, Secondary Divisions secure the capital, Primary Divisions prepare for the Southern Campaign!"

The troops now moved into the Myakkan capital.

Summary:
-Karuchean troops moving into Myakkan Capital.
-Primary Divisions then moving South to fight the Monarchists
-Secondary Divisions to secure the capital and surrounding areas.

OOC: Sorry for RPs focusing on character histories, but it is relatively important for this and future RPs. Karim Ahmad, Pak Han-Chul, Amani Sinde and Omar Bakdash will play very important roles in the future of Karuchea and hence also, foreign policy.

The Communists were taking significant losses as the Foresters attacked from behind with their leader, the Lady Sarah, being a bit too brutal as she began bayoneting corpses and kicking them around while shooting at those enemies still alive. It felt like she was getting into a period of intense bloodlust. The Communists began firing their machine guns at the Greywatch soldiers while snipers aimed for the Foresters.....

The mercenaries, who had stood in the frontlines of the attack, were the ones taking most of the fire. Their body armor made them difficult to take down but they weren't immortal. Soon, more than half of them had fallen, other Greywatch soldiers took whatever they could but their numbers were also declining. The only ones who were not taking many, if any casualties, were the FM soldiers. They stayed back and gave all the support they could, at a safe distance and angle.

OOC: I guess I'll leave the initial greetings and parading in the capital to Myakka.

OOC: This post officially ends the RP. Thank you to all who participated! I hope I did a good job here.

Marianopolis had fallen before the massive armies of the Communists who had already declared themselves to be the de facto government due to conquest. There were hardly any citizens left in the capital except for those people who sympathized with the Reds. The Emperor's Bunker was discovered by Communist soldiers who found that it was entirely looted by Monarchist soldiers who fled with the goods to Lamoni. The palace of the Emperor was also looted by the same soldiers and Communist soldiers gave themselves a tour of the complex with some of them drinking in the rooms of the Emperor's children or breaking windows and writing on the walls. The Emperor and Empress were being tortured by their captors in truly brutal ways; at one point the Emperor was made to watch his beloved wife being raped by the captors while he had to declare himself an oppressor of the people even though Myakka did flourish during his reign. The Emperor's torture, however, merely consisted of watching his wife suffer by being nearly tasered to death, raped, beaten and so forth. All he had to do was watch and declare that he oppressed the Myakkan people. In Marianopolis, the Communists were consolidating their power with mass lynchings of suspected Monarchist sympathizers. Karucheans could see Myakkan men and women hanging on light posts with a sign around their necks saying: "We supported the oppressors". It was unknown, though, if some of them actually did.

Karuchean soldiers would see a barren and ruined city which was totally devoid of life save for the Communist sympathizers and the soldiers of Adam Linare who led the Communist attack. Adam Linare, himself, was waiting for the Karucheans to arrive with much trepidation; not caring at all that his soldiers were torturing the Emperor and Empress. The Monarchist faction still existed in the form of a city state, Port Beza, with a few scattered land holdings and which was now under the rule of George Norden, a colonel who had fought with the Mioyans. He had convened of the Monarchist leaders still alive in an old court house with him sitting where the judge would be. With a smile, he noticed that everyone happened to be sternly looking at him with their minds contemplating the capture of the Emperor and his wife and the fall of Marianopolis. George Norden took hold of the papers he had and rose from his seat. "It has come to our attention that things look dire for us. I have decided that it is time to end the suffering by surrendering to our....enemies."

The audience screamed violently in opposition. One of the men in the crowd, General Lucian Caret, rose from his seat in utter outrage. "Surrender? To the Communists? Never! We must fight them! We must not let our beloved homeland succumb to the Red Death!"

Norden smiled. "What do you propose we fight them with?"

Lucian Caret smiled. "The world."

The crowds began debating over the issue of surrender before Norden and Caret agreed on a vote. There were fifty people in the room and if a majority of them raised their hands, then surrender would occur and, if not, then the world would be asked to send more and more soldiers into Myakka. Caret and Norden watched the voting. It took several minutes for about forty people to raise their hands. Only ten sided with Caret. Norden nodded his head. "It is settled. We surrender."

Caret and the ten marched out of the room in silence but Caret did manage to say one last thing to Norden. "I'll be in Lamoni if you want to contact me, Norden."

-----------------------

Every television and radio in Myakka began, the next day, to air the speech of Colonel George Norden who was speaking from the Port Beza courthouse under a portrait of Theodore Beza, the Calvinist theologian and namesake of the settlement. Norden was dressed in his full uniform and spoke solemnly to the audience. "Whereas we are unable to pursue the continuation of the crusade against the Communists, it has been decided that we shall surrender effective immediately. All Monarchist soldiers still active are urged to stand down and forsake yourselves to the Reds. The gates of Port Beza and all other remaining Monarchist settlements shall be left open for the Communist soldiers. That is all."

As George Norden rose from his seat, reporters were in an uproar as they began demanding answers to their series of questions. Norden walked out of the room with his bodyguard while citizens began packing up their posessions for ships still taking people to Lamoni. Lucian Caret, who opposed surrender, got aboard a ship to Lamoni where his family was and smiled as the ship began sailing towards Lamoni and, when he could no longer see land, he said: "Thou art Myakka, a land abandoned to red collar dogs."

Soldiers still loyal to the Monarchists were either surrendering, deserting or killing themselves after shouting Monarchist slogans into the air wherever they were. Thomas Millone and his associates declared that all of Myakka was now to be a People's Republic and signed a special order declaring that George Norden was to be imprisoned in a labor camp instead of merely being shot in the back of the head. Prisoners of war loyal to the Monarchists were given two options: Join the Communist Revolution or be killed. Many chose the latter.

Foresters around Myakka began hiding in their bunkers in the hopes of continuing the crusade against the Red Menace while labor camp prisoners began to riot but they were all shot without mercy by machine gunners. The Red Rose Government, led by Prince Gaspard, declared that it was the de jure government of Myakka and began plans to coronate Gaspard as Gaspard XX. Thomas Millone, meanwhile, decided that Gaspard XIX was to be executed but he left it up to judges to carry the sentence out. In the prison they were in, Gaspard and Laney were given inadequate food, torn and ragged clothes, daily beatings, and so much torment that Laney became to feel almost suicidal. Gaspard's wife got the majority of the torture and the other prisoners at the compound could hear her screams so much that many of them could never sleep without hearing them in their heads. Laney trusted, though, a sympathetic guard that protected her whenever he could do so. When the prison recieved word of the surrender, Gaspard and Laney were notified before Laney was dragged away by soldiers for a "big party" being held. In fact, more than one woman was dragged away. The prison was going to have a mass (forced) orgy of rape in celebration. The men would just get to listen to the screams and laughter. The sympathetic guard decided not to attend the ceremony for too long and was able to spare another woman from rape. This other woman happened to be the guard's love interest. She was spared and sent away by the sympathetic guard who, while walking with her, could hear the men forcing the other women (including Her Majesty) into doing certain things. Mioyan, Lamonian and Salzlander soldiers were all told by Myakkan leaders to return home immediately before they were rounded up and either imprisoned or executed. The man and his family aboard the Lamonian medical ship appealed for asylum. The old Myakka was dead. The new Myakka was born.
Lynion

In response to the call for the surrender of all loyalist soldiers, the Lynion's decided to take their chances and go bush. It was the only chance even though there was little chance they could make contact with Lynion or her colonies again. It was going to be a nightmare of the Lynion's now fully isolated.
Greywatch
10-08-2008, 03:58
When the surrender was put through there was a fair amount of swearing from the Greywatch soldiers. They called for immediate extraction, thanks to their own efforts, it wasn't too difficult to get out of the areas they'd just been slaughtering communists in. Any forester who wanted to join them was allowed to. The Greywatch forces made sure to quickly pull out of the area, taking with them any allied forces who wanted to come.
Lamoni
10-08-2008, 08:42
When the surrender was put through, the Lamonians were not surprised, for they had watched the military situation force it via satellite intelligence. All of the Lamonian troops reboarded their ships and aircraft; taking as many Myakkan citizens with them as they could safely carry, and even shading that somewhat. There were entire Myakkan cities that had been emptied due to their inhabitants requesting asylum in Lamoni.

The construction workers were still hard at work, preparing the housing for the Myakkan refugees that would be staying in Lamoni. Now that the war had resulted in a Monarchist defeat, they would be working harder than ever.
Anemos Major

The Holy Empire of Anemos Major Battle Fleet Invincible picked up a few Monarchist stragglers and a large amount of refugees, but as they headed back to Kelsin, Lord Sailis knew that he wouldn't be able to sleep for a while knowing that he had left millions of innocent citizens and the crew of the IFAM Trinity to die. He quietly slipped off his cap and whispered "May the names of those who died be honoured evermore." The bridge crew, noticing him, did the same, and eventually Sailis put back his cap and said "Full speed ahead, keep AA defences online."
