Dmitri looked up from the skillet as he heard footsteps on the stairs. He put it to simmer on the burner and greeted Sasha at the bottom of the steps.

"Good morning," he smiled bashfully.

The CV-30 Vogel was painted jet-black, and unlike other aircraft, was not using running lights or a transponder. The pilots flew by use of FLIR, NOD and similar optical devices. In the cargo area, 12 men and women were preparing for a HALO jump. Each was decked out in blackened tactical gear, as well as oxygen tanks and masks as they prepared to exit the plane. There was a steady red glow, which suddenly switched to yellow; they all moved in unison, standing up and checking equipment. The rear hatch lowered, and the leader stepped up to the edge, followed closely by his team. The overhead light turned green, and they stepped into the night.

"Colonel, if this weren't an emergency, I'd have you detained," he whispered quietly, holding his anger in check. "Both of you, get outta my Situation Room," he continued, waving for the medics to come and look the fallen Dubrilobov over.

"It started off in Womer." explained Sasha,"We met immediately since the Minister was here and I had to go see Dubrilobov since I'm deputy. I think he started to flirt with me after a week." She was nervous obviously while telling this tale.
