OOC: Darn, I thought you were going to say yes. I already had like 20. Oh well.

IC: Tal allowed himself a small smile as he took his sword. "Ok. I suppose that is fair enough." Tal began listing every name from memory, starting with "Arilath".

"Realism is just fine as long as it isn't overdone. Remember though that people have feelings and take that into consideration when you speak. If you do that, you shouldn't have too many problems." Zena said, looking to Mirage.
Joshua walked along with Tal, tapping the ground to bring up a headstone at the site of each of the graves. Each stone read the name along with a cross and the inscription "Here rests a soldier of God."

OOC: I can change my mind if you want though. :D

Patrick finaly let go of the sword still loged in Satan's body. I..I actually did it..." He stared at his shaking hands. "I went head on against Satan and survived...." He looked at everyone in the group, eyes filling with joy, but backed with pain. "I... I did what no human has done before!" He smiled, a trickle of blood leaking out of his mouth. "We...we won. He's really dead..." His eyes rolled back into his head as he collapsed to the floor.

Edward looked up fro tearing a hunk of meat out of Satan's body. Let him rest, he's earned it. He trotted over and licked Cecilia's face. Not so bad for my first time as a werewolf, huh?

Celestial kneeled over him and began heeling his wounds, the two ghosts dissapeared into the air. Mirage shook his head to Zena's comment, "Do as you wish. I think only of my self and what is best for the Garden and I. If there was no threat, I would have blinked you all out and sealed this place forever before making sure it could never be reached again. Emotions mean nothing, they block one's vision, I thought after all that you would've seen that."

IC: After the last grave, Tal turned back around. "I suppose you were right earlier. My sword isn't very useful for this. Could you make me shovel Joshua?"

OOC: Whatever floats your boat. Or if Zena were saying it, whatever sinks your boat. :D

IC: Joshua nodded and seemed to pull a snow shovel from the ground. "You said a shovel, not what kind." he laughed as it changed to what Tal could better use.

Zena retorted. "Or they help you see things you otherwise would have missed, like how people will react to what you say. And no offense, but you seem really self centered making a remark like that."

"Um, Zena. In case you haven't already realized, he is self-centered. And incase you haven't gotten the point yet, he doesn't, and never will care about anything you say. He wants to be ignored." Bladedancer said quietly. Mirage only nodded.

Patrick groaned and sat up. "Wow... I survived that." He stood then saw the gravestones and snapped a salute before whistling taps. "A tribute to the fallen."

Tal tried to grin at Joshua's comment, but it came out crooked. He grabbed the shovel and began digging, but not before giving Patrick a weird look.

"I get that." Zena said. "But it makes me feel better to vent."
Joshua meanwhile laughed at Tal's smile and gave him a pat on the back. "They deserved better than what they got in the end, but at least you're giving them the best they could ask for. They died honorably and for that we are all eternally grateful." Joshua turned to Patrick and nodded. "Even he is seeing to it that they get the respect they have so rightfully earned in his own way."

There was the sound of coughing. Pyro looked back at Umbra, who was now partially awake, Umbra couldn't see everything. Things were blurry and his hearing was going in and out. "What'd... I.... wha.... wha.... mi... I... what.... miss.... did.... I.... miss... what?" He blacked out again. Pyro smiled, "At least we know he hasn't left the world of the living yet."

"Human military honors. Sorry." He took a step back and examined Satan's corpse. Told you you would be in pain he bent over a spot that the Werewolves weren't tearing at and snapped off a tooth. Proof that I was here.

Joshua heard the snap and warped to Patrick. "Were you not listening!? Every last bit of Satan must be destroyed to prevent his return. Leaving even that tooth unharmed will allow for his return and mean that the hundreds of people that died today will have died in vain! If you really want to respect them, you'll take no souvenirs from the corpses." His face was beet red and a pulse could be seen in Joshua's temple.

Tal paused his digging when Josh patted him on the back. He seemed about to say something, but instead turned to Patrick. "No, please, I'm very grateful. It wasn't bothering me. It just... reminded me of someone I used to know. And Joshua, it's not his fault, no need for anger. He simply forgot." Tal promptly turned back and resumed his digging.

Aozora meanwhile, was trotting back towards the camp along with Lydia. Lydia had said she wanted to go pick flowers, and Aozora had been forced to go along with her. As such, he now had a circle of flowers on his head when he walked into the camp. Alehkra took one look at him and rolled over on his back laughing, earning a scowl from Aozora.

Patrick noded. "Really now?" He walked over to the grave sites. "And who would that be?" He looked around searching for a shovel. "Anyone got a spare shovel I could use?"

Edward started scratching at the ground with his paws. You carry the body, I'll dig.

Joshua was furious at this point. Not only was Patrick ignoring his warning, but he was trying to do what Tal specifically said he wanted to do alone. "Human, you better open your ears once in a while." Joshua said, breathing down Pat's neck. "And you!" He looked to the werewolf. "Tal said he wanted to do this alone, now listen to his wishes."

Tal had opened his mouth, but saw Joshua had it covered. He gave him a look of gratitude, and continued digging.

Tal nodded. "It's all right. I am grateful that you wish to help, but I must take care of my soldiers alone." (still digging)

Patrick backed off, so did Edward. "Oh, sorry, I was trying to honor the dead, guess I ignored things." I apologize as well, I did not mean any offense Edward slid what dirt he had over the small hole.

Joshua sighed. "I understand, but Tal wants to do this alone. Now Pat, Satan's tooth please? We don't want him coming back from that little bit do we?" He held out his hand expectantly.

Aozora started to pout slightly at being completely ignored, and took off the circlet of flowers. He got a dissproving look from Lydia, scowled, and put it back on. Lydia smiled in satisfaction, took out several more of the flower circlet things, and began skipping towards Alehkra, and plopped one on his head. He scowled, but didn't complain. She smiled happily, and skipped towads Joshua and Zena, holding a flower circlet out to each.

Gold walked over, "If I may dispose of it?"

Zena looked to Lydia, happy to see a friendly face. "You know, you two are the first people we've seen since it ended. Satan's finally gone and the wolves are taking care of his body. And as soon as Joshua gets a tooth back from Patrick, that should be the end of it." Zena took the circlets of flowers and put one on herself while slipping the other onto Joshua, much to his dismay.

Joshua shook his head. "We're in another plane of existence, you won't get anything out here. Now hand over that tooth before I force you to." his temper was rising again.

Edward chuckled at the sight of Alhekra, then mocked a southern accent. Yer all purdy. Patrick began to look distressed as he flipped through radio channels. "Nothing... no answer." He flipped out his GPS and tapped the screen a few times. "No markers for anyone..." He switched back to his radio. "This is Liuetenet Patrick Harker, UN military, is anyone out there?" Silence greeted him.

"Enough beating around the bush, the tooth if you will." Gold said now with a serious tone.

Patrick rolled the tooth over his fingers as he brought it out of his pocket. "Now why would you need... this? Serve as an interesting reminder of what I did during the war."


Gold promptly took the tooth, it glowed blue in his hands and he crushed it. There was another burst of light as it faded from existance. "Now that that's done."

Patrick shrugged. "If he could be controlled, then yes, but since he obviously can't, then no. It would be to great a threat and might wipe out humanity totaly, something I do not want to be remebered for."

Lydia laughed and went to Edward, dropping another flower circlet atop his head. "You all get one." She said in the voice that seemed entirely too soft for a werewolf. She began dancing around each person of the group, setting flowers on each of their head.

Tal completely ignored the flower circlet placed on his head, nearly hitting Lydia with a shovelful of dirt as he was throwing dirt out of the grave.

"Well fuck you guys." Gold said angrily, "I'm a human. And I know I helped out."

Edward nodded. Reminds me of Hawaii. He grinned his wolfish grin. Except this was at an R&R facility... below an active volcanoe.


Patrick shrugged. "The only human here, makes me appreciate being different for once. Now who was that person you knew that I reminded you of, hm?"

Edward trotted over to Alehkra. How're you doing Al? Took some pretty good hits, suprised you didn't break a hip. he gave a coughing growl. And I bet you'll have grandkids by the end of the year, I gaurantee that.

"It means that you gave him exactly what he would have wanted and if his soul could be in heaven, it would be smiling that you did that for him." Joshua said.

Shes not full vampire, so won't be able to tell the difference. Deserae however, seems to know exactly what the blood came from, where it came from, its current temperature, and what temperature it was at when the blood was drawn. That is not a joke. I once tested this, and gave her the blood of a platypus in the summer that I'd drawn in Alaska. She got all of that right, as well as how old the damn animal was. I didn't even know that part

Edward cleared his throat. With minor hostility. Nothing on par with you though. Least I didn;t threaten to kill them. But hey, when they offered me a mate, I didn't know I would be with her. He trotted over to Cecilia. But I'm glad I accepted.

Tal was suddenly next to Josh and Pat. Seemingly out of nowhere, Tal pulled out an angelic golden bugle and gave it to Patrick. He walked away and resumed his digging.

Patrick took the trumpet and slowly, mournfuly, played taps over the fallen. Edward straightened out automaticaly, attempting a clumsy salute. Force of habit.

A single tear slid down Patrick's cheek as he recalled the dead of that day, four thousand soldiers gave their lives attempting to hold New York city, only to fall hours later. His shoulders started to shake as the tune slightly went off key, then stopped alltogether to be replaced by sobs.

Patrick noded through tears. "I'll be fine.. really, I'll be fine." He wiped away some more tears, then nearly burst into another set. "That..that trumpet... it brought back my saddest memory.."

Aozora thought for a second. "I'm pretty sure its thursday...Hey Alehkra, What day is it?" Wedensday Alehkra answered without hesitation. Aozora shrugged. "Works for me. Deserae grabbed Edward by the snout and looked him in te eye. "Now, heres how I understand it. You and my daughter are mates, you have promsed Alehkra granchildren several times, and have even gone so far as to attempt it. And yet, I don't think we've ever met? That doesn't really seem right, now does it? Now, you are going to tell me who you are, where you came from, and how in the hell you got it into your head to mate with someone you just barely met."

IC: Joshua nodded. "He's right Z. But still, four and a half months is a short war compared to others that lasted years. I'll leave the invasion to others though, we didn't show up till just a few days before we met up."

IC: Tal leads Alehkra away from the crazy lady in black. "Listen, I have an idea. I wanted to ask your opinion on it at first, since you are the leader of the werewolves. We have fought for days now to win this garden, and the others want to just leave it as it is. I don't want the lives lost to be in vain. Instead, what if all those who were rejected by humans, like werewolves, vampires, corrupted, half-breeds, etc. simply lived here? Think about it. Each group could have their own level, so they don't have to interact. If Umbra or Mirage wanted to stay, they could be the garden's keeper, and blink people back and forth who wanted to interact with each other. That way, no one would be persecuted when they returned to earth. Its just an idea. What do you think?"

Alehkra sat back on his haunches, surprised. He thought about it, then said, Well, it may well work for the younger wolves and vampires, and many of the half-breeds. Corrupters though, perhaps they should stay away from the Garden until we're sure we can trust them. When it comes to older wolves and vampires though, I'm not sure that would work out well. Many of us have been on earth for several centuries, and despite some of the bad times we've had, it is our home. I have seen great changes in the earth since I was born, and I have come to love its beauty and diversity.

Tal nodded. "I suppose you are right. I didn't think of any of those things. I suppose that it is a good thing I asked you. Of course, I will leave this decision to you. I think you would know better than anybody how to make it work. If you make a decision, I will help tie up all the loose ends. Now, I think your wife might be mad that I stole you, so I'll see how the others are doing." Tal walked off towards the others.

Tal walked up to Aozora and Zena. "So, what's this I hear about you replacing the pope?"

Aozora shrugged. "Well, we figure we need someone more tolerant than the current Catholic Church. So, we get Zena to be Popette, me the obligatory corrupt cardinal more for keeping with Catholic tradition than anything else, and we reform the Church."

Tal frowned at Aozora. "That's not funny. And before you get any ideas, listen to this." Tal explained what he had just explained to Alehkra, including Alehkra's thoughts on it.

Aozora thought about it. "Live in the Garden eh? Hmm... I'd prefer to be on earth, but I'll go wherever the Popette goes."

Tal continued frowning. "Popette... listen Zena, nothing personal, but you do realize that the Catholic Church won't allow any female priests into their church? What makes you think they'll allow a Popette?"

IC: Zena chuckled. "Those rules were made before an angel got the idea of doing that. Besides, that's why we put Alehkra in there as a Cardinal first." she grinned sheepishly. "Besides, I got the pope to bend down on his knees, what makes you think they won't change their minds?"

Alehkra laughed. Oh yes, and Unplanned and heritic as a Cardinal. I think this is going to be fun. Aozora grinned. "I think you'll manage. Even if the Pope disagrees, we'll just have Alehkra threaten to eat him." He thought for a second. "Hey, what do we do about the Greek Orthodox?"

Tal turned to Zena. "You may try to become pope if you wish. However, if you threaten the church or attempt a hostile take-over" Tal glanced at Aozora and Alekhra as he said this, "remember that I will do all I can to stop you."

"So Mirage, what are we gonna do about Umbra?" Said Lucian as he sat next to Celestial who was working on healing UMbra, not little avail. Mirage shook his head, "That doesn't matter, its the garden, I'm a gardener. I'll grow some trees or something, I don't even think hunger exists in the Garden." Aozora suddenly turned unfriendly towards Talrania. "That, would be a very bad idea my friend."

Oh but wouldn't it." Said a familiar voice. "Don't think my organization's not watching you Al." It was Gold, with his impecable ability to come out of nowhere. "Hostility taken towards the church will prove that all werewolves are hostile creatures that need to be exterminated."

Alehkra growled. You do not scare me, Gold, and neither does your orginisation. I intend no harm to the church, but I will help Zena, and if that means killing priests, than so be it. And once I bring the wolves back together, you will find that killing us is no easy task.

"Save your threats you inhuman asshole. I state what you should already know. You say you'd kill innocents and then state that you do not support other werewolves who do the same. You're contradictory and dangerous, as for my oragnization, you know nothing of them. You know not of our capabilities, and if we must all die to keep you from killing innocents, so be it. Tal stood beside the two with his sword drawn, at both of their necks. "Now is not the time to fight. We are in the garden, a place of peace. Now settle down. After we return to earth, perhaps we will be enemies. But for now, for the sake of those present, the garden, and those who died to protect it, you can not fight here."

Alehkra growled at Tal. Had I any intention of fighting here, I would already be eating him. Now remove the blade, or I will fight

"And niether would I but you miss my point. I haven't killed you yet, despite that being the one reason I joined Hell Guardian. Everyone in the organization is a killing machine, myself included. And yet, you still stand. Why? Because I've been patient, and I've trusted you. You who would speak of killing innocents. I don't give a fuck about what you've seen, hear this. If you want to be loved, bury your past and act like you have a future. Kill? An eye for an eye I would assume? How much can you see if you're blind, you speak of all the killings? Tal backed away. "I apologize, I was just afraid that the situation was... tense." Tal followed after Gold. "I am sorry about that. I sympathize with what you are saying. Even if you swore a little much."

Gold sighed, "There are no worries my friend. I am taking an important step towards a newer and brighter future for humanity. The first step will always have arguments of this magnitude, hopefull, given time a new empire of united creatures can form on Earth... Hell Guardians has been trying to accomplish that for years, though albeit in extreme ways. We kill all that is hostile hoping to find something peaceful amoung the remains..."

Alehkra growled, and began gnawing gently and his arm. Deserae laughed. "He does have a point Alehkra. But I will admit that he is an unfeeling bastard. And its probably a mistake to assume the priests are innocent for no other reason than he is a man of the cloth." Alehkra seemed to be calmed by her voice, and sighed. Who is he to talk of killing innocents? He would kill all of us Deserae, all because we are inhuman. Deserae smiled softly. "I think both of you are too stubborn. You refuse to see past the holy man, and he refuses to see past the wolf. Come, lets go for a walk." Alehkra sighed and went along with her.

Meanwhile Lydia had watched the entire fiasco shaking her head and sighing. She supposed she'd better go on a peacekeeping mission. She pulled out more of the flower circlets and skipped the way Gold had gone.

OOC: Um, wow. I missed a lot.

IC: Zena shook her head. "No Tal, no hostile takeovers. Besides, just talking to the Cardinals and the pope would probably be enough to get me leading the church. Aozora could be my advisor, no need for him to be a Cardinal when he could be the one that works with me directly. As for Greek Orthodox, I don't know. I think an angel appearing would pretty well clam them up."
