OOC: Dude, no. Just no. Stop wanking and get over yourself. For one, the Cyprian Circle has collapsed, so who would mantain the network? For another, this system was never mentioned before anywhere. Finally a FTLi field, if it's any good, prevents ALL FTL travel, not just hyperspace. My tactic works, deal with it.

The two figures aboard the small Greywatch ship were awed by the events unfolding. "Father needs to hurry..." one of them said, the other one nodded. After a minute they both agreed that it was time ot relocate again. "Shall I prepare PSR?" "Not yet."

With a deep sigh Red pushed his way into the door blocking his exit, explosives weren't necessarily the best thing to use on someone who was already producing the amount of heat he was. I do hope they're not intending to waste all my time with this. "You do realize at this point that you're not going to win this with brute force. I am over seven thousand years of age, I've picked up enough tricks to help me survive." He began pushing his way into the door, feeling it heat up.

"Sir, the reinforcements can't jump in!"
"Damn it! Now what?"
"I advise we retreat back to the defensive platform Line one."

The Greal ships took a pounding, and a cruiser was destroyed. The Superbattleship fired its Mauler weapon again. This time, the captain revised the shields to protect the weapon itself. Two thousand reserve fighters were brought up to fight.

"Orders have been changed since we can't jump to help Pamp."
"What are the orders?"
"We strike Celestis."
"Alright, are the Assault Fleets ready?"
"The First and the Second are ready sir."
"Alright, jumping." said the captain, turning the controls to the left. The ships appeared in Celestis in full force. The Superfortress immediately laid a Chalion field to prevent anyone from helping the Calaverians. And so the Greal ships could leave whenever they wanted. The superfortress then fired its ten Mauler weapons and ten superlasers, five weapons per Observer. The Greal ships began unleashing their five thousand fighter force.

"Captain, I would advise you fire your main plasma ping cannon at the Superbattleship. Reports from the Marathon suggest this vessel may be the flagship for the defending fleet, and in any case its array of heavy weapons are causing problems. It needs to be eliminated immediately." "Fifty percent sir."
"Very good."
Caedo looked back out as the flaming debris of what had once been a cruiser faded away. The fighters were almost evenly matched in numbers, as far as he could tell, the Greali might have a bit more. It was up to the skill and precision of the individual pilots who the small craft victory would belong to, although if one side won but lost their capitals their fighters would be destroyed by the enemy capitals anyway. "Focus all thirty of our plasma cannons on the Superbattleship," he ordered. The Observer began to spin, the cannons firing one every rotation, revolving at one turn every thirty seconds and giving the enemy a salvo of sixty shots every minutes. The AA turrets continued their successful fighter destroying campaign.

GTO weaposn were online. The GTO systems were just a name for the planets ground installed defences. This included GTO Ping-cannons(These are half the strength of a Observer main-ping cannon), Tritanium shrapnel GTO missles(Large missles that on impact act like giant shrapnel grenades, best against non-sheilded fighters and small ships). The last GTO defence would be nuclear missle launchers. These are placed in silo's around Celestis.
List of GTO defences
100 GTO Ping-cannons
5,000 Nuclear Missles
3,000 Tritanium Shrapnel Rockets
Aside from the Ground to Orbit weapons, Celestis has ground to atmosphere weapons only, such as: Plasma-ping AA turrets, Plasma-missle launchers(AA) as well as weaker 50.caliber Tritanium machine gun installiations, which can't reach the atmosphere.
Planetary Shield: Plasma shield, that allows fire to go from the inside out.

Celestis...
Thirty-two enemy warships against two Observers and all the ground defenses of Celestis. Not good odds, but they could hold out for a time. Kece, from her base on the ground, had been granted full command for the defense of Celestis, and she watched as the Greali fleet came in tight formation, firing on the Oddyssey and Hammer. The shields dropped to ninety-three and ninety-five, respectively, and the ships fired back, opening with their Plasma Pings at full power, both directed at the Klackon Superfortress. The plasma cannons targeted the foremost warships in the fleet, sixty of them firing as the Observers rotated. One thousand, two hundred fighters screamed out to meet their Greali counterparts, a vanguard of four hundred plasma AA shots, four nuclear missiles, twenty shrapnel rockets going ahead of them to meet the enemy small craft. She noticed the new arrivals and awaited word from Erus as to what to do with them.

"Status?"
"Cannon has recharged to one seventy-five percent, sir!"
"Target that damned Superbattleship, I will take it down if I have to attach myself to the hull and chip away at it's armor with a blaster."
The cannon glowed, fired, blasting away fighters and platforms undeterred in its path to the Catcher. Caedo had seen the thing take hits from the Superlaser continually and stand up to it, and he figured if after this the huge ship wasn't a flaming hulk, it would be damaged enough not to pose any threat to them any longer. The Observers kept taking the hits and kept dishing it out, even against the overwhelming firepower presented by the Greali they stood strong. The fighters were losing their battle, hundreds had been destroyed and they had lost a full third of their full force. They had to rely on the chaos of battle and the many hundreds of friendly plasma turrets to back them up.
Meanwhile the Observer took hits from the Battleships, firing back furiously with all thirty of its cannons. Strangely the Superlasers were not nearly as effective as they should have been, the enemy should have been decimated by now, but were still very much alive and kicking. The Observer ignored the Destroyers, the fighters would deal with them, and concentrated their firepower on the six battleships, five Cruisers and fifteen frigates. Two hundred and forty plasma cannons continued to fire off into the enemy, seeking to get rid of their capitals and battlewagons before finishing off the static platforms and smaller vessels. 1,600 AA guns were firing on the enemy fighters as the Plasma Ping cannons slowly charged back up.
OOC: I'll give it to you straight: You're not taking as much damage as you should be. These plasma pings are supposed to devastate a ship in a single shot, NC made that clear, and he only has ten ships, one Superlaser per ship. That makes them insanely powerful, and I can understand your Superbattleship not falling to one shot from one, 'cause it's one of your biggest ships, but come on. Seven Observers all fired Superlasers at your fleet. You lose one Cruiser.
Not enough.
Post more losses, choose six other ships to die or be heavily damaged/crippled, capital ships.
Celestis, Orbit...
The enemy fighters fell in droves to the planetary weapons, two thousand destroyed, but thousands still came. The fighters clashed, lasers firing everywhere, the Calaverians outnumbered at least three to one but still flying with precision and ease though the storm as they took their losses. Here the superiority in numbers was a disadvantage to the enemy, any time fighters would group into a formation weapons on the surface would target the group and take them out with missiles or energy blasts. But if they flew by themselves, as individuals, they had to avoid colliding with friendly fighters, risked being destroyed by friendly fire, and could easily fall prey to marauding Probe fighters.
The Observers diverted their AA turrets completely from attacking fighters to intercepting missiles, space turning orange and white as they detonated under the fire. The shields dropped another couple of points but held. But now the Klackon fired on the Oddyssey, full force, a terrifying sight to behold. The Observer rattled under the assault, shields dropping an astounding twenty points, and for a time it seemed too shaken to fire back, the HAMMER keeping up the barrage by itself.
High Command...
Kece commanded the Observers and pilots to treat the newcomers as allied vessels, to not get in the way, and to hang back and protect the planet. That is what the Calaverians did, letting the Doraddi Fleet swoop in to give the Greali something else to think about. She sent a quick, heavily encrypted message to what she believed to be the flagship:
I will give you anything you wish that is in my power to give if you cripple the Superfortress for me.

"Sergeant Willis reports widespread damage to the port hangers." yelled an officer to Jaller who hung onto a computer as the plasma cannons shook the ship again. There were way too many Observers. He ordered his last ships, corvettes and gunboats and a few bombers to join the Greal defense. He even diverted police frigates and a few armed cargo ships to help the battered Greal fleet. The Greal fleet fought back, but time was against their side now.
He watched in horror as the enemy plasma cannons destroyed the Dark Lord, then the plasma cannons kept firing and the medical ship, the Patience, was also destroyed. Though the rules of wars clearly stated that no hospital ship was to be attacked, it seemed like the Calaverians didn't care. He took no chances ordered the other hospital ship to go to one of the moons and wait it out there.
Surface Mauler weapons resumed their bombardment, and enemy suppression batteries were also up and firing. Defensive platforms joined in the fray, but half were already debris. Fighters continued their brave defense, though the Probe fighters outnumbered them, they were at risk for friendly fire. Four thousand AS guns on the superbattleship fired again at the enemy Probe fighters. Since the enemy was ignoring the destroyers, the destroyers fired their anti-ship hell-fire missiles, and unleashed a AS barrage on the enemy fighters.
The thirty (Nine were destroyed) remaining Valiant Class escort ships each fired their four rapid fire phaser pulse cannons at the enemy Observers. though this was nothing more then throwing paper at a defensive position, it showed the Greal ships were fighting. The human ship, a survivor from the Human-Techar wars, released their one hundred Viper Mark II fighters, then it moved away to the protection of the Wrath Class Gravitic Battleships that were firing constantly.
Celestis
The Superfortress was probably unlike any opponent the Calaverians ever fought before. Captain Bolvan once again took a crystal from the crystal holds, and recharged the field and the shields, to keep its power from falling. The Mauler weapons were ready to fire, while the Superlasers cooled and charged slowly. Bolvan controlled the Mauler weapons, to fire at the cities, that they could see below them. This was known as "glassing a planet". The other Super capitals and battleships dueled with the Hammer, while fighters attack the Odyssey. Millions may die today in this war. The field kept anyone from going in for another hour before it needed a recharge.

Marathon, Pamp Orbit...
Caedo smiled in satisfaction as the Superbattleship ceased firing its heavy weapons, probably too damaged or too overheated to continue the battle. He would have to see if he could get boarding teams to take the ship later, now he had other things to worry about. The General noticed the hospital ship going down, and shook his head with a smile. Fools. Who positions their medical craft directly onto the field of battle, in the way of priority targets? More ships were going up in flames, and Caedo ordered continued concentration of fire on the Battleships, five remaining Cruisers and all fifteen of the frigates. Not for the first time he wished the Calaverian Navy was more diverse, armed with different weapons able to take on multiple enemies of different types, but he knew this lack of diversity and utter focus on what was there was the reason they were winning this battle. The tide had even turned in the fighter battle, so abruptly: There were more Probe fighters out there than Greali.
The shields on all the Observers continued to drop, but it was too little, far too late. The Greali fire was too spread out to be effective, and while the Observer fire was even more sparse it hit where it counted. On the Twilight they split their fire between one of the Destroyers and the over two dozen light escort ships, seeking to take down the smaller ships since the fighters did not seem up for the job. Fire kept pouring in, and would do so until the enemy had been destroyed. Caedo considered this for a moment, then ordered his communications trooper to open a general broadcast line:
Attention all Greali vessels. Surrender now by powering down your weapons and your lives and ships will be spared. You will become Calaverian POWs under kitsune protection, we solemnly promise no harm will come to you. If you refuse, we will show you no quarter.
Celestis...
The Maulers were simply absorbed by the planetary shield surrounding Celestis. The Odyssey seemed to get back on her feet and rejoined the battle with a burst of her plasma cannons at the nearest Greali vessel. Obviously they were getting nowhere with the Superfortress, and instead began to fire on the First Assault Fleet, hoping the Muri would take out or down the Klackon and reinforce them with their fire.

That same ship (http://drman.deviantart.com/art/Assault-Transport-37787169) popped out of hyperspace at a respectful distance outside the starbase, hovering closer as the station gave the vessel a friendly I.D. As the craft set down in the designated hanger it settled easily, but even before it had entirely shut down the ramp deployed Yoki came striding down it, a large smile on her face that usually meant someone was in imminent danger of a grisly death. She was closely followed by her itimidating, omnipresent Korr bodyguard, still lugging his rifle. "You!" she snapped to some dockhand, "call Commander Rammer at once!"

Fatum watched one of the most important buildings in Celestis carefully, the Black Guards with their own loads coming up behind him. "How the hell do we get into the sewers and under that place without being spotted?" he muttered.

OCC: im back, time to get back into some this.
Administrative building
The Hunters atop the building scanned the streets. Air raid sirens sounded in the distance as the sound of jackboots came down the streets. A few citizens were beaten and detained, they would likely never be seen again. A few cracks of gunfire could be heard in the city, while the battle clashed in orbit.
Inside the AD Building
Kash walked up to the Overseer " I'm amazed at Xiscapian tactical skill, we will have to trade such skills in the future. Keep up the good work, and it will only get better for you.." He said His pistol still had blood on it from killing a inobedient officer. Two GOU walked into the room and stood next to the Xiscapian.

"Dirt simple, my boy." Morga seemed oddly jovial and upbeat. "Every city has two sewer systems-one for disposal of waste, and one for water runoff. We'll enter through a storm drain on the outskirts of the city, and make our way through unobserved.
"I've used this system without trouble the past few days, and my lune will scout out the area for us, just in case. Of course, the massive space battle overhead will occupy the Calverans nicely, as they're doubtless a tad upset about it.
"The waste system is a series of small pipes within the storm drains-easier for repair and maintenance, I suppose, and the nature of the sewer itself makes surveillance problematic-too dark for cameras, while the running water obfuscates microphones and motion detectors, as well as cooling us off in the event of thermals. All we really need fear is running into a repair crew-and we'll spot them first, either by their lights or my Darksense. Being Calverans, they'll probably be armed to the teeth, but so are we..."

Meanwhile, as the Greal navy battled the Calaverians, Captain Bolvan received a puzzling order to retreat in the face of the enemy. There were no other details. The message from Naval Command simply said:
GO HOME NOW
Bolvan reluctantly ordered the fleets to jump back to Hurtrix, while one of the fleets were diverted to Nova Reginix. The fleets jumped, and the Chalion field relieved. No doubt the enemy would be just as puzzled as Bolvan.

After receiving a surrender demand from the Xiscapian ships, an offcier handed the note to Captain Jaller. He was about to read it when the bridge simply exploded, killing everyone inside. The ship was now a giant piece of medal that was so heavily damaged, that it simply stopped firing.
The remaining ships grouped together, and retreated back again, to be protected by the planetary shields. The ships combined their fire on the most heavily damaged of the Observers.

The dockhand ran off, looking for an officer to call Commander Rammer. Commander Rammer was evidently eating his meal when he was interrupted by a Lieutenant who sounded panicky. Rammer rushed down to the Hangers and saw Yoki. "Nice to meet you again. How may we help you?"

"Thank you, we have had much time to refine our stratigic skill," said Overseer Erus blandly. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting?" One of the Black Guards stood by the door, and the other stood behind Erus, behind the GOU, rifle held pointed at the floor. At that moment Erus's communications link crackled and all could hear the voice of Military Overseer Kece. "Chief Overseer Erus, the Greali have retreated and made the jump to lightspeed, we don't know for sure but their tracks seem to take them back within Galactic Imperial borders!"
Outside the Admin...
"You'd better be damn sure they don't have patrols down there," Fatum snarled. "Let's move." He led the Greali, following Morga, to the enterence to the sewer system outside the city, a foul-smelling pond with a massive pipe jutting out of a hillside.
Pamp...
General Caedo watched as the bridge on the Superbattleship was consumed in a huge fireball and the enemy retreated back to the planet. His yellow eyes roved the blackened shape of the Greali vessel, now silent and still. "I want all of the plasma cannons in the fleet to concentrate on that Superbattleship," he ordered, still watching, "pound it into dust. In the meantime, move the Marathon out of the range of the enemy, and put the Observers in a blockade around the planet. Continue charging the main ping cannons, and get my ground troops and assault vehicles prepared for combat."
The huge Observer began to move away from the planet, taking the hits but shields still not failing. The others began to take their positions, 420 plasma cannons firing repeatedly on the apparently disabled, heavily damaged Superbattleship. Once it was destroyed all the power aside from that of life support and enough to keep the shields at ten percent strength was diverted to recharging the ping cannons.
Warlord Class Starbase...
"The time has come, Commander," Yoki's eyes were lit with an inner passion. "The Rebellion is again strong enough to take on the Kitsune Empire. We will be attacking within the year. However, to complete our fleet we require the following ships." She handed him a datapad with the list before continuing. "Once Xiscapia falls and the true rulers are put into place we will do our best to make relations between Greal and Xiscapia ah, profitable. Once the order has been filled I will return here one last time to coordinate our operations for maximum efficency. After all, you can't have the Kitsune Empire attacking you now, of all times." she laughed.
Ships required by the Rebellion:
10x Guardian Class Escort Carriers
15x Lasom Class Frigates
5x Orlin Class Mine Ships
2x Grunt Class Troop/Armor transports
20x Black Dawn Class Corvettes
Pamp
Some of the remaining crew fled on scout ships and shuttles to the safety of the surface, but most of the crew perished when the plasma cannons destroyed the superbattleship. The crews of the other ships stared, in shock of the destruction. It couldn't hold for long anyway against eight Observers. But now, the destruction of the superbattleship gave them the impression that the Calaverian's surrender demand was fake, and they would destroy all Greali ships. Mauler Ground batteries resumed their fire, protected by the planetary shields.
Warlord Class Starbase
Commander Rammer glanced at the datapad and Yoki back and forth a few times before making a decision."Alright. The ships we can give you. We were already planning to scrap the escort carriers, but never mind that. We'll just give them to your rebellion. Should I send the ships to the same coordinates as last time?"
Bolvan reluctantly ordered the fleets to jump back to Hurtrix, while one of the fleets were diverted to Nova Reginix. The fleets jumped, and the Chalion field relieved. No doubt the enemy would be just as puzzled as Bolvan.
OOC:May I refer you to posts #525, #534, and #548? Your fleets are destroyed.
OOC: You do know standard RP rules are that you cannot state losses. I'm just going to assume my fleet jumped before your fleet arrived.

Obviously the Greali had had no intention of surrendering, seeing as they had all retreated behind the plantatary shield and were firing upon the ships. Caedo watched with a faint smile from afar as the huge vessel cracked and burned, tearing itself apart to join the floating debries of the former fighters, weapons platforms and Greal vessels surronding the planet. The Observers continued to take the hits, shields dropping to dangerous levels, but the tactics had paid off. At full power now, four of the seven charged Plasma Ping cannons were unleashed upon the shield, awesome power smashing into it with the effect akin to a 105mm howitzer shell shredding a piece of paper. Caedo knew the shield would not be able to hold, but that the ships and planatary AA and artillery would still be a threat. While they wouldn't be able to harm any of the ground forces, the General was aware that the weapons could still pose a threat to the Observers. Shields slowly recharging as well, they prepared to begin beaming troops and vehicles down for the ground assault. Probe fighters, numbering about six hundred now, all shot down towards the planet, seeking out military bases, detection outposts, airfields, ship docks, factories, troop barracks and formations of enemy soldiers or mechanized units to strafe.
Warlord class Starbase...
"Yes," Yoki nodded. "Your escort carrier preformed excellently in our field tests, more will only be an asset. Can you give me a timeframe of when we can have the ships?"

The ground forces were ready for combat. Tanks, battle robots, troops, and robot artillery were in their position. The ground forces total numbered in millions. Many Remelars had received assurances from the humans that they would become independent. Now they would have to fight to gain this independence As the Probe fighters headed down to the surface, they were encountered by the remaining Greal fighter survivors, plus ground AA fire backing were them. Defensive platforms had all gathered up at the area where the remaining survivors of the two fleets were gathering.

Pamp...
Two of the Observers that had not fired their main cannons, shot the plasma pings towards the pool of enemy ships and platforms that had collected. They were a perfect target, so close together; the battle-damaged ships would not be able to hold against the pure firepower. And even if they did they would be rocked by the blast, they would collide with each other, the wreckage from those that were destroyed would smash the shields and shred the hulls of those that did. Meanwhile the fighters chose not to engage the enemy AA or fighters, dipping below, climbing above or flying straight though, taking losses, to fire their lasers on the targets they found, any military bases, detection outposts, airfields, ship docks, factories, troop barracks and formations of enemy soldiers or mechanized units near the capitol.
Marathon...
Now that the enemy was otherwise occupied Caedo had ordered his ship to move closer to the planet, within beam range. He had under his command 100 Post Walkers, 250,000 GOU soldiers, 2,500 EOT tanks and 1,000 Stalker Recon Vehicles. Though they may have been lacking within the realm of space weaponry and ships, General Caedo was pleased by the variety and diversity of guns, grenades, bombs and other tools of war the men carried. In the hanger bay of the ship he stood, still wearing the colors that marked him as a Xiscapian Grand Army General, looking down upon the ranks of GOU.
There was a flash of light and they were beamed down, finding themselves just inside the mountains, near the city with the gigantic railway line spanning the valley over their heads to the capitol. Spreading out the soldiers began their march, with some ninety Post Walkers going ahead to destroy any obstacles, a thousand tanks behind them, then the troops, and finally five hundred of the Stalkers, mounted with twin-barreled fifty-caliber machine guns, all ready and watching for any signs of the enemy. General Caedo was left behind with the reserves of ten Post Walkers, one thousand five hundred tanks, five hundred Stalkers and a team of Hunters acting as perimeter guards. He nodded to his second-in-command, an attractive Calaverian female (http://tn3-1.deviantart.com/fs16/300W/f/2007/122/e/4/Light_soldier_by_Arkiniano.jpg), to take care of her own small operation. Caedo turned his attention to the ground forces, already distant in sight, watching the holographic display inside his command tank as the army and supporting vehicles made their way to the city.
The second-in-command ordered two of the ten Post Walkers to begin firing their concussion emitters at the bridge above them, collapsing it. It wouldn't do to have the enemy attempt to transport troops, supplies or vehicles into or out of the city, would it? She then posted half a dozen Hunters at both ends of the line, ready to report in and engage if any enemy patrols were to approach to find out what happened.
Warlord class Starbase...
"Unacceptable." said Yoki shortly. "I want you to make this your top priority, Commander. Three months, no more. The Empire will fall."
Pamp
With the probe fighters ignoring the AA fire and fighters, it made the job easier. The pilots just had to sit back and fire their missiles at the probe fighters, would wouldn't find many things. The ship-building yard was stripped of its tools and sent with the launched superfortress that had left hours before the Calaverians arrived.
Pamp Ground
The city was surrounded by plenty of defenses. The defenders had tunnels, so no siege could destroy the city. Fighters were strafing enemy positions, while bombers were dropping bomb after bomb. Meanwhile, a large Greal force of two hundred thousand arrived near the right flank of the Calaverians. A Remelar reserver force had seventy thousand men posed in the mountains ready to attack. Large tanks and black spider tanks were with the Greal force. The Black Spiders were a more advanced version of the Zillar black spiders who destroyed several Greal ground armies with these.
The city was garrisoned by two hundred thousand Greal regular troops who ironically fought against the Calaverians months ago over a planet. Missiles were fired by missile batteries at the approaching enemy army.
Warlord Starbase
"Alright, two and a half months." said Rammer, now the Navy would be annoyed that they had to delay production on another Concerm Class Superfortress. But it would be worth it. "The transports can be delivered right away along with the corvettes. The bigger ships will arrive in two months."

Finding nothing of interest the fighters broke off to protect the Calaverian army, taking down bombers, dogfighting fighters and intercepting missiles. As the Greali began to sit up and take notice the Post Walkers added their own plasma cannons and concussion emitters, as well as Stalker 50. caliber heavy machine guns, to the AA mix. However, the army stopped moving, still in the mountains with the city only a few miles away. The Greali were about to learn why ground battles were all but obsolete in this day and age. The Observer Marathon was orbiting overhead, unseen, but it readied the batteries of it's weapons and located the approaching Greali force.
Revolving, sixty plasma cannons with the added fire of some one hundred AA guns turned to orbital bombardment as the shots streaked down towards the Greali army. While the AA might have only done well against fighters, they were large enough to be devestating to any infantry and most vehicles, and the plasma cannons cut large swaths of destruction where they landed. If the Greali even survived the assault, which was doubtful, they would arrive scattered and damaged, easily finished off by the Calaverian units.
Warlord class Starbase...
"Capital," Yoki nodded her approval. "I'm glad this arrangement works. Now, Commander, once we receive the ships, are there any places we can make one last strike for you before taking on the Kitsune Empire? Any battle sites, old enemies, rebels?"

The Sewers of Celestis...
Morga's word was good-the storm drains were an easy traverse, and the time spent in the sewers was anxious but dull. Soon, the pipes had been drained properly, the building informed with the proper protocols, and the hives drained into the pipes.
"Fatum, there's a bit of a problem that way." Morga nodded with his head, in the trollish fashion. "You have night vision, and there seems to be an electromagnetic field wreaking havoc with technology-would you mind accompanying me to investigate?"
"Yeah." Fatum was leary, but nodded to the Greali. "Wait here-we'll be right back."
The two vanished into the shadows, silent as thought, Fatum curious. He knew trolls had senses other races lacked, and Morga was not trustworthy in the slightest, but wouldn't endanger himself.
There was nothing but nitre on the stones, running water and darkness-how far did a troll's senses extend?
"One moment-letter to Mum." Morga punched a code into his bracer, and a soft bamf sounded from behind them.
Fatum grew nervous. "What the Hell are you doing?"
"Several things, actually." Morga was conversational. "It would be more progressive to ask what I have done. Doubtless you realize I lead you in circles in the sewers-Erus required the schematics on the Black Guards' armor-he has it, along with a warning to seal his office. Since I used the Imperial frequency, he'll heed it. Erus is a Good Son, despite not having been born a troll, and I needed the time to scan them thoroughly.
"The GOU have been warned of the plot on the Administrative Building too late to stop it, but soon enough they will capture the foul miscreants responsible, especially as I've sealed all the exits they were aware of-dear Roy was charmingly precise in their numbers and armaments, and the Grating Leader loves overkill. I even warned him of the explosives that would herald the attack, and their locations-again, too late, but Roy was hardly trained for espionage.
"Doubtless, the Grating Leader will want to take it up with him.
"Now, dear boy, the Greal Black Guard and the GOU are going to want to have a firefight-I've one of Talon's children ahead, who can take us to Talon and off this desolate rock. Since the Greal have no loyalty to either of us, it would be best to be on Talon and away before they have a chance to speak-hmmmm?"
Fatum glared at the troll. "Why have you done all this?"
Morga leered, "That's a bit out of bounds, but I'll allow it. Besides, I may need you in the future. Erus wanted the workings of the Black Guard systems, the Grating Leader wants a scapegoat, and I want a diversion. This way, everyone's happy. Besides, operations like this are a work of Art-and what good is Art if you don't sign it?
"The Black Guard will insist they are working on my instructions, and I'm dead-destroyed in a plasma blast. Now let's be off before this gets difficult, hmmmmm?"
Cursing, Fatum followed. Once again, Morga had screwed everyone and walked away...
OOC: Crystal recharges aren't exactly the best way, because the more you recharge using crystals, the less powerful the shields get.

The ship's shields were very low now, and one more plasma blast would destroy them, if it weren't for the almost gone planetary shield. During this time, shuttles were evacuating everyone from the ships and landing at several areas in the forests of Pamp. From there, a few remaining Marine squads were sent to help the Greal army, pounded from all sides.
The Greal army was no longer a large formation, it was split into many pieces, so the orbital cannons couldn't hit them all at once. A few dozen fighters that had an attitude range of 20 miles were attacking the enemy formations, firing missiles, that would set fire to Pamp's forests, which are occasionally hit be forest fires.

The final Observer fired off the last Plasma Ping, cutting though the shields into the ship formation, the tactics of patience and analysis having paid off. The Marathon continued to bombard the Greali from orbit, the cannons weren't terribly accurate but they were rather destructive, creating a ring of of devestation and fire around the survivors as they sought to scatter. The fighters firing their missiles were fired upon by the Probe fighter escort, distant laser flashes streaking towards them as they both targeted the fighters and missiles. Some of the missiles snuck though, of course, bringing down a Post Walker and killing a squad's worth of troops. They were left behind as the march continued, the forest being knocked down in the path of the Calaverians as they approached the city.

Red snarled at the wreckage, no Rollins. And chances were the guy wasn't enough of a retard to stay in the sam ebase as those suicide bombers these Greali called guards. He changed back into human form and reactivated his suit along with its cloak before putting a message through to his small ship above the planet, "Commence scans. I want to know about anything and everything coming off the planet's surface." A voice quickly came back to him, "Father, there is a war going on up here!" Red was slightly taken aback from this, "Really? And I didn't bring a ship to the party? Damn. Well I need to look around this area some more before I'm done. As soon as you find anything interesting, let me know. For now, keep in cloak and keep you heads down."
Outskirts of Pamp city
As the Calaverians approached, they started to run into mines (The ones that haven't set off) which exploded with such force that anything within a dozen feet would be hit by a massive explosion. Also, Black Spiders were harassing the flanks, hit and run attacks, too fast for orbital bombardment. The Black Spiders were taken from the Zillars, who had killed countless Greal troops with these annoying things.
Two battleships were instantly destroyed. These battleships were foreign made and hopeless. The last remnants could do nothing more then move off away, hoping that the Observers would not follow them, and instead, support their ground attack.

The first few mines destroyed half a dozen Stalkers and EOT before it they figured out what was going on. The Post Walkers walked amongst the mines with ease, armored stable legs not so much as denting from the blasts. They fired their weapons directly in front or under them as the tripods strode out into the field, detonating the mines with their own explosions and force. The soldiers and other vehicles stayed back until a path was cleared though the field for them to traverse, being hit by the black spider attacks the whole time. The damn things were harassing the troops, rockets or shells often going wide and missing as the infernal machines ran or rolled back into the safety of the forest. The Marathon continued to make orbital strikes around the Calaverian force, it might not be able to hit the spiders directly but it didn't matter, the blasts, fire and fallen trees would destroy or impede them enough so the Zillar-made weapons would cease to be a threat.
The fighters split off, two hundred over the Calaverians to protect them as the other four hundred (give or take a few dozen) streaked off in a widening radius to pursue and destroy any scattered soldiers, black spiders or enemy emplacements of buildings they could find outside the city. The Observers had blockaded the planet, and the battered remnants of the Greali fleet were being bombarded by plasma cannon blasts from two orbiting Observers. The troops continued their approach, very close to the city now, before coming to a halt, mighty weapons of war posed like a hammer to crush the capitol beneath them. A lone Stalker rumbled out in front and deployed a megaphone, loud enough to be heard be all for miles. It was General Caedo's voice:
"Greetings to the belligerents of the Intergalactic Empire of Greal Army and the militia forces of Pamp. I am General Caedo, commander of the Calaverian forces here. As you have doubtless realized, a force of Calaverians now stands on your doorstep, fanatically loyal to me, legendarily cruel and now bloodthirsty. What message I receive within the next five minutes will dictate whether they come as peaceful warriors or savage conquerors. As you may have seen, I offered your resident Naval forces a chance to surrender. They refused, and were killed and routed, with the last survivors now on the run, trapped.
I offer you the same chance, to lay down your weapons and surrender peacefully. You have my word as a General of the Great Leader that none will be harmed by any of my men and all will receive aid once we have secured our position here. You may show your good faith to cooperate by handing over to me your highest general, admiral or commander present for surrender and peace negotiations. Of course, you are entirely at liberty to refuse my gracious offer. However, should you unwisely select this course, my troops will enter your city and kill every Army or militia soldier they find, force all citizens from their homes out into the mountains, and raze this city to the ground.
You have five minutes, starting now, to move your commander to the front and bring him over to my forces. If these five minutes expire and there is no sign of him or her, my men will begin their campaign to take your city.
I await your reply, soldiers and people of Pamp.
Choose wisely.

OOC: Is the Greal Army known as the IIGA (Intergalactic Imperial Greali Army)? And what is the name of the resident commander/general/admiral in charge?
OOC: Ah, the commander of the Pamp army is currently at the capital. His name is General Xeno. The commander of the city the Calaverians are attacking is general Remos. The Greal army is plainly known as the IIGA, so you got it right.

Of the Black spiders, some of them were captured form the Zillars, others were highly advantaged Greal made ones. They continued their hit and run attacks, trying to avoid fire, fallen trees, etc. A few turrets came out of the ground, and fired and went back into the ground, just to annoyed the enemy.
The Remelars had massive underground cities, and the city being battered on the surface was no concern of theirs. They were safe underground. The IIGA was already transferring a large portion of their army underground along with the Government and key papers to avoid therm falling into Calaverian hands. General Xeno sent a short message to the Calaverians saying that he would willing surrender if the Calaverians would send the prisoners away and keep him as a hostage if anything went wrong.

The Black Spiders continued to be targeted by Calaverian weaponry as they inflicted their losses, mostly critical hits on troopers who were simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. The turrets proved irritating, and were quickly demolished by tank cannons and heavy gunfire. There was a crackle over the loudspeaker;
"I accept your proposal, General Xeno. You have three minutes to hand yourself over to my forces. No funny business now, or the people of Pamp will suffer for it."
General Xeno turned out to be a human, dressed in a normal soldier uniform instead of the standard general uniform. He walked toward the Calaverian front slowly, and hands high in the air. He didn't want any trouble from the Calaverians. General Remos also came as an extra hostage to ensure that the Greal prisoners would be allowed to leave while they stay as hostages. Once the Remelars saw this happening, they also wanted to send a representative to see if the Remelars could have their independence back.
Wrecked base
As Red walked on, he would see a downed fighter, that had set fire to various trees. The fighter was apparently shoot down during the battle with the Calaverians.

Tenfour, spaceport
Fatum hated the ship-totally dark, and Morga too preoccupied with piloting to talk. He was relieved when the door opened and the ramp lowered, until he saw Morga's bully boys surrounding them.
"What the ---- is this?" he whirled.
"We're leaving, Fatum-we've been called and must answer." Morga replied. "This matter is bigger than your little skirmish. Here-" he produced a data crystal "-is a breakdown of my operations here. The keys to the kingdom. If you are wise, you will go to Foxfire Rose, and try to gain my position-the Kingpin of Tenfour, the Emperor's spy and control on the underworld. Other than the muri merchants, you can have it all-consider it severance pay.
"Glowbug will doubtless be an adequate second-I would take him had I time-and Sticks is loyal and as effective as you-moreso in his way. Him, too, I would take."
Glowbug and Sticks stepped out from the press of muri. "I'd like to come, too, if I could, Sir." the massive Korr said. "I'd rather be with you than here, if you'll have me."
Sticks grinned sheepishly. "You were a good boss-wish I could go, but all I do is break heads, and troll heads are too hard. Besides, this is home, boss. Forgive me?"
Morga hugged Sticks warmly. "You stay, then, and best wishes-serve Fatum as you have served me, or find another to be the Emperor's man in the Dark. I have loved you, Sticks-you are a good man, and my barony shall miss you."
He nodded then to Glowbug. "You will love Pamaltela, my friend-we shall rule openly there, and you shall be my heir.
"The rest of you-come on! The First Mother won't want us late."
They entered the ship, and left for home...

It was indicated that the Remelars would be allowed to send a representative if they so wished it. General Remos was checked for weapons shunted off a little ways away from the main force, surrounded by armed GOU and Stalkers. General Xeno was also scanned and patted down for any weapons or explosives before he was led to the rear of the Calaverian force, where a small collapsible structure had been erected, two Hunters lurching guard outside it. He was admitted into a simple room, no windows and the walls gray and bare, with only a single chair behind a spotless desk, and two other chairs in front of the desk. General Caedo sat behind it, smiling politely at the expression on the face of the Greali. He waited until the Remelar entered as well, then stood and bowed.
"Greetings, General Xeno, diplomat of the Remelars. I am General Caedo, present to negotiate the terms of your surrender. They are very simple: All armed forces and all vehicles larger than a landspeeder are to be handed over to us for detainment and processing before we will release them back to you. We will confiscate all weapons and armed vehicles, but we will not keep any prisoners aside from you, General Xeno, and General Remos. In return the fighting will end, and we will neither pillage and burn your cities nor enslave your civilians.
Once all Greali and militia forces have given themselves up, and they have been processed and released, we will conduct a planet-wide search for any rebels or hidden weapons catches. Once that has been done we will leave, keeping a few ships in orbit, as a precautionary measure you understand. If you wish it you may go back to your old way of life, or elect a new government: It does not matter to us. Should you refuse this offer, well," he shrugged, "we all know what will happen. What is your position, General Xeno, and yours, ambassador from the Remelars?"
Administrative Building...
Eight GOU trotted down the sewer line, the lead spotting the Greali Guards though the helpful schematics that had showed up in his helmet link. "There!" he pointed, and they all leveled their assault rifles, breaking into a jog. "You there! Weapons down, hands where I can see them!" called the lead to the assembled humans.

For a moment Fatum stared after Morga, mouth hanging open, not believing what had just occurred. The ship lifted away and left, leaving Fatum alone with Sticks. The assassin lifted the data crystal up, suddenly holding it like it was worth billions. Indeed, it probably was for what was contained inside of it, and he recognized it was his best change for a good life, away from the toil and danger of assassination. Though, he thought to himself as he began to walk out of the spaceport, Sticks in tow, he had the feeling he would be assassinating, or having assassinated, several more people and avoiding a few himself before he secured his position.
Stepping out into the streets of Tenfour, Fatum smiled.

The Black Guards had already spotted the GOU troopers on their advanced fast computer goggles. The moment the GOU trooper started speaking, they were interrupted by the Black Guard aiming their boltguns and firing. Then, the Black Guards turned on their cloak mode. The cloak mode would eventually run out of battery power, and the Black Guards didn't have an endless stream of batteries.

The Greal soldiers were mostly Remelars. Pamp did not house actual Greal regulars, and the Remelar militia were the only Greal army. GOU moved among the Remelars, confiscating any weapons they found on their persons, from knives to bayonets to pistols to stun guns and even ammunition and grenades. These were added to the pile as more GOU surrounded the militia, both inside the gorge and positioned at the top looking down. Probe fighters screamed over the gorge and city, pilots on the lookout for any renegade militia members, weapons or vehicles. Once all the weapons were taken the Remelars were sent out of the gorge, followed by all the GOU. As they walked away a explosion sounded, destroying all the weapons with a few shaped charges and causing a small rockslide.
Caedo nodded to himself. The militia members were under supervision, their weapons had been destroyed, their commanders in the Calaverian camp, their Navy reduced to so much scrap. Calaverian casualties numbers in the upper one thousand, but that many to take a planet was well worth it. All in all, a successful, quick campaign. He ordered the fighters and all the Stalkers to make rounds across the planet at all major cities and bases, instructing them to take and obliterate any weapons or military vehicles they found and to kill or detain any armed or hostile militia members they came across.

"Yes sir, they are being overrun even now."
"Good. Instruct the platoon commander to report to me when they are all dead for the disposal. The Calaverian people need to eat."
"It will be done, Chief Overseer."
Sewers...
The squad came up behind the Greali, opening fire full force with assault rifles, shotguns and grenade launchers as the other two squads reinforced the first fireteam. Three more Calaverians were killed in the fighting, dropping to the floor, but the fire upon the Guards was fierce, overwhelming and coming from the front and rear. The GOU slowly advanced, pounding their enemies with slugs and explosives.

Pamp's massive shipyards were destroyed during the battle, and was further destroyed after one of last Xeno's orders was to prevent it from falling into Calaverian hands. Massive forest fires still raged the planet, causing disruptions. A few Remelar civilians requested help form the Calaverians to fight these dreaded fires. If the Calaverians were to help them, the Remelars said, they would be more welcomed on the planet.

The majority of the GOU and their warmachines left the planet, but the Probe fighters began flying over the forest fires, dropping thousands of gallons of water on them in an effort to stop them. GOU fought with hoses and trucks on the ground to do the same, blasting entire sections of forest away to keep the already huge, hungry fires from spreading. Both Generals were released back to the population, and Caedo left aboard the Marathon, along with most of the Observers. Two remained, keeping their troops and equipment on the ground to fight the fires and finish checking for weapons. Once the fires were out and the entire planet had been swept, both Observers vanished with their men and the field was lifted.

The blast collapsed part of the Sewers and killed all the Guards, braining a fourth GOU in the process. He and the others would continue their operations on Celestis, but the initial insertion, response and action was over.
