At the end of another tiring day of running a nation of over 11 billion, President Andrew Stinson returned to his empty room in the Lamonian Presidential Palace. This was the sad way that he had been spending all his time since before he became the President of Lamoni.

He was thirty five years old, and very fit. He was college educated, with degrees in Political Science, and Anthropology. His quarters were fairly spartan (except for the standard trappings of personal political power), there being only small personal touches; such as the picture of his parents. They had both died in an automobile crash when he was only ten years old, but he had kept the picture all this time. There was also a picture of the adoptive family that had taken him in, and a Lamonian flag that had come from the barracks that he had been in during his national service in the Lamonian Army. He had served in artillery, loading and firing G5 howitzers.

The next morning, he decided to do something about his loneliness. He called over a secretary, and had her dictate a message.

I have finally decided that I have had enough of the bachelor's life, and am seeking a wife. The ideal woman would be aged from thirty to thirty seven years of age, be physically attractive, as well as having a sound mind; capable of serious thought. She should also be college educated, or have enough life experience to add up to one.

All nations are encouraged to send a maximum of two women to the Lamonian Presidential Palace, after filling out the form located below. After climbing through the ranks through hard work, dedication and a few threats she rose to command the 2nd SS Division 'Landstorm Skgorria' in time to defend the Blubs during a crisis with the Hatarians. She then led her troops in opposition to the Nazi regime following the One-Day War and after the decomission of the SS, she has worked as a movie director and enjoyed some success.

Kimiko had the invitation to the presidential palace and had shuttled down with her ambassadors blessing to the capitols International airport.

So catching a taxi after making sure she had enough local money for the fare and the trip she found herself being dropping of at the palace.

She dressed smartly in a navy blue ladies skirt suit with a white modest blouse and was unarmed now she wasn't in her nations military. The skirt rested above her knees and she wore 2" heels and a black ladies trench coat as well as a small shoulder bag.

Although still a samurai of the federation carrying a bladed weapon here would cause complications so her honour blade was left behind. Showing her invitation and her WA identification she entered the palace and waited. She had a small case with a changes of clothes and little essentials she'd need.

Dressed in the manner of a secretary with a bit of a puffed up blouse (a bit of cleavage or so could be seen), her hair in a bun and a medium length skirt, Adelaide von der Schulenberg walked into the Presidential Palace with a small case of essentials and her passport marked with an obviously Ixanian emblem. Taking her seat in what looked like a waiting room, Adelaide noticed another woman and smiled at her; hoping that she could make a friend regardless of whether Stinson chose her or not. She simply opened her case, took out what looked like a novel, and began to read silently while waiting for her meeting with Stinson; perhaps, she thought, this courtship would not be failures like the others.

The asian woman noted the smile and returned it. Kimiko had her hair long and free and she was wearing makeup and perfume.

She did have a printout of the planetary newspaper in her case as well but a conversation would be more fun.

"Hi" she called over in slightly accented English seeing the other woman wasn't that far away from her. Her smile was warm and friendly and she looked relaxed and confident.

Sarissa torens walked into the Presidential Palace wearing a turquoise dress, carrying a small handbag. Her aide had taken her suitcase to a hotel.

She looked at the other two women and smiled. They were worthy competition, and maybe she could make a friend while there.
"Hi!" she said, pulling out a novel.

Leah Aria walked calmly into the Presidential Palace. As a representative of her family and Fluidism Viriline, she would not and could not do anything disgraceful- not that she ever did such things. She admired the architecture and artwork of the palace as she went inside, waiting to see the president. The man seemed to be interesting, and an (obvious) interest in politics called a kindred spirit. Also, she saw a great potential for work on the economy for her to do.

As she walked into a room, she spied three other women vying for the position of the president's soul mate. She sedately sat down in a chair, her maroon-violet dress swishing quietly as she did.

"Hello," she said to the other women. "my name is Leah Aria."

"Hello Leah. I'm Kimiko Uehara" Kimiko replied in introduction.

Her accent would have marked her out as Japanese if she had came from Earth but the Kirisuban's also sounded like them.

She could now see the competition but she wasn't planning on being b*tchy about this. She still had honour to uphold.

Other details might emerge later but there was nothing to show yet she came from a future tech and female dominated culture.

"So," said Leah, smiling softly, "which nation do you hail from? I'm from Fluidism Viriline."

Fluidism Viriline. She knew about that nation.

"I'm from Neo Kirisubo. I'm also in the diplomatic team from my nation that deals with the World Assembly" Kimiko warmly replied.

She was being friendly with her rivals but ultimately it was the presidents choice who he chose. All they could do were their best to impress him.

Neo Kirisubo. Her dad had told her that two of their ensigns had married the theocrat as an act of diplomacy. they were an FT nation and came from two other planets. they had also taught some Fiva scientists the basics of phaser technology. So she was dealing with an advanced diplomat here. Even if she lost her hopeful future husband to this woman, she would feel no animosity towards her.

"I'm sure you do your job well. I'm the daughter of King Kristo Aria of the subdomain of Ariatia. My sister Altia is married to the theocrat."

Kimiko smiled knowing she was dealing with a lady from a nation they had good dealings with.

"Ambassador Yamamoto from my delegation was visiting your nation not so long ago. She was very impressed with what she seen and the people she met.

Leah, you do your honourable nation credit and I hope we can maintain these good relationships in the future" she replied.

"I hope the same," said Leah. She smiled at the other woman. She wondered if she should say the next bit, then decided to limit herself to a minimum.

"We are already making progress with the phaser technology the Ambassador shared with us. The Urbi Dlal Phaser Commission is working wonders." She neglected to say that it was no longer in Urbi Dlal after a near-disaster, and that all practical research was now at a secret military base in the mountains. Provided Kimiko reported this back to her nation and from there to other nations, this allowed her to engage in disinformation while still expressing gratitude and making herself look good. She applied a careful coat of lipstick and smoothed out any creases in her desk.

Kimiko smiled and said "phasers are a tricky business. Even we had to start with simple laser pistols and build up to phasers.

I'm glad to hear of the progress you're making. You'll be able to think about nuclear powered space flight at this rate."

She took this at face value but there was always teething troubles with new technology.

"So, have you ever visited this nation before?"

Adelaide looked at the other women and smiled as she listened to Leah talk to Kimiko. She did hope that someone would talk to her before the President came to see them.

"What is your name, Fraulein?" Adelaide said to Kimiko politely before turning to Leah to greet her. "I think that it is nice to be here; even if I don't get chosen by Stinson I'd still ask for the ability to have a tour of Lamoni."

You know...before I came here, I had met the Prince of Kelnoriem and a Delesan prince about marriage but the deals went through and nothing happened. If this fails...then I'm alright with it. I was an only child and my parents made me the heir to their fortune which included our family manor and all the land they owned. Although I am a wealthy landowner, I have never felt that I am superior to others; I am not a snob. All I want in life is to be happy; as I am sure many people would."

Kimiko chuckled and replied "with 90% of our population being female our men have to stay at home. We've taken on traditionally male roles as a result and if you ran into a Neo Kirisuban starship you'd find only women on board.

The massive double doors to the waiting room opened to admit a pair of Lamonian Army Soldiers in dress uniform (OOC: http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p281/matt518672/cqcf-06.jpg ). They stood at attention beside either of the now closed double doors, and announced that President Stinson would be arriving in five minutes.

In the meantime, the assembled women were welcome to continue talking with each other as they had been doing.

As for President Stinson, he was busy watching the women through the monitors that displayed the closed circuit camera feeds from throughout the palace. This was where the President of Lamoni maintained his offices, so the security would be the best that Lamoni could manage.

He thought that they all seemed nice enough, on first inspection. With that, he made his way down to the waiting room, clad in a tuxedo. When he reached the doors, the dress uniformed soldiers opened them, announcing: "The Honorable President of the Free Republic of Lamoni, Andrew Stinson."

With that, he walked through the doors, and waited for the women to react to his presence.

Adelaide stood from her seat and gave the President of Lamoni a quick but still respectful curtsey that showed him she was of noble birth. With a smile on her face, she greeted the President in a refined tone of voice. "Herr Stinson, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Adelaide von der Schulenberg; one of the several women here who have been waiting to meet you."

Adelaide studied Stinson and thought that he looked handsome; perhaps, she thought, this could be the man she would marry but she did not want to rush into things. She still had to see what he would think of her and of the other women here.

Kimiko bowed rather than curtsied since that was her peoples custom.

"Its a pleasure to meet you President Stinson. I'm Kimiko Uehara" she said after she rose from her bow with a little cute smile on her face and looking very smartly dressed in her own right.

"It is a great pleasure to meet you too, Miss von der Schulenberg. May I call you Adelaide?" President Stinson let his eyes sweep the room in order to let the others know that he wasn't playing favorites.

"You are free to call me Adelaide, sir; I do not mind if you do." Adelaide said with a smile. "If it is possible, sir, will I be able to have a tour of this city? I have heard much of Lamoni's friendship with Ixania and I'd be glad to learn more about the nation."

"Yes, a tour of Nephi is indeed part of this whole thing. Also, tours to other parts of the country, if desired." This was said loudly enough for all to hear.

Adelaide smiled. "That is good to hear; I was looking forward to a tour of Nephi, at least and to see more of Lamoni would be a pleasure for me."

Leah spoke up. She had quietly been observing the president beforehand.
"Hello, Mr. President," she said confidently, standing up. "I am Leah Aria of Fluidism Viriline." If she were to marry the man, she had to size him up behind the pleasantries. She smiled. "That's a nice tuxedo. What designer is it?"

"Hello, Miss Aria. I can't say that I have heard of Fluidism Viriline before, but I am sure that you will be able to tell me more about your country later." He smiled when she talked about his tux. "This tuxedo is from the Lamonian designer Francis Marceau. Given that i'm the head of both government and state in Lamoni, designers constantly donate things to me, such as this tux."

An aide came and whispered something into President Stinson's ear.

"If you ladies will all follow me," he said, "i've just been informed that lunch has been prepared." Walking away, he led the way to the semi-formal dining room.

Kimiko followed the president carrying her small case. Still not sure when she'd get to leave it off somewhere she took it in with her leaving it under the table for now.

Lunch did sound like a good idea and she already had adjusted to the time difference. When she had shuttled down it was still the middle of the night ships time.

Adelaide swiftly grabbed her case and immediately began following Stinson. She had been interested in learning more about him and knew that lunch may be a perfect opportunity for her to ask him questions and perhaps establish a connection of some sort.

Leah smiled softly. The president was interesting, rather attractive, and had a good sense of style. She felt that she would be able to communicate well with Stinson over lunch. She put her table manners on maximum, something which she had been planning for years, and complimented the artistic folding of the napkins.

OOC: I'm testing out an IC national cuisine here, so things might be a little off.

IC: The lunch started off with a simple soup course of Lentil and Sausage Soup. The President graciously insisted that he be served last, so that he would be free to answer any questions. However, that did not stop his stomach from rumbling as the appetizing smell of the soup wafted past him.

The semi-formal dining room had a long Cherry finished Oak table, with enough room for all of the diners to be comfortable. The chairs were leather, and they swiveled to allow people to sit on them. The fact that it made them easier to clean had not been overlooked, either.

The Marble Tile floor was done in a giant version of the Lamonian flag (OOC: http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p281/matt518672/lamoni.jpg ) ; with different materials being put into the tiles in order to get them to come out in the correct colors. The walls themselves were also done in marble, but unlike the floors, they didn't have to be flat. The wall tiling was made to feel like the person who had chiseled it out of the quarry had a sense of artistic style as the walls looked like they were the remains of a rock quarry of which this room had been a part. Little silk curtains were parted on pictures and paintings of Lamonian military equipment and military victories. (OOC: feel free to ask Stinson about them, otherwise, I won't bother describing all of the wall pictures) One of the pictures was of a Lamonian Army soldier aiming his assault rifle at an undefined enemy with his right arm while beckoning other Lamonian soldiers to follow him with his left arm. A little metal plaque underneath this particular painting revealed the name of the painter, as well as the fact that the painting was of a scene of the Battle of Hando during the Psipronian War. On another wall was a picture that had come from Imperial Isa. The subject of the picture was of the new fighter bomber that the Free Republic had acquired from that nation, the F-31 Sylphid. The lights in the ceiling had been made in such a fashion as to make it look like the ceiling panel was filtering real sunlight; which had never failed to amaze Stinson when he looked at it.

All in all, the room looked like what you might expect from a high level country club.

Looking at paintings was nothing new for Adelaide; but there was something about these paintings that made her look at them in wonder and awe. She studied them and thought about how much time was spent making them. Seeing the picture from Imperial Isa, it made her remember the dealings that Ixania had with the Isans ever since a maid married their Emperor; a match that Adelaide thought was surprising and heartwarming. Adelaide called Stinson to her with a smile. "Sir, can you tell me about the Psipronian War?"

Looking at paintings was nothing new for Adelaide; but there was something about these paintings that made her look at them in wonder and awe. She studied them and thought about how much time was spent making them. Seeing the picture from Imperial Isa, it made her remember the dealings that Ixania had with the Isans ever since a maid married their Emperor; a match that Adelaide thought was surprising and heartwarming. Adelaide called Stinson to her with a smile. "Sir, can you tell me about the Psipronian War?"

"The Psipronian war was the first war that Lamoni had ever gotten involved in. After he finished speaking to her, Adelaide smiled at him. "Since that conflict ended, how many conflicts has Lamoni been involved in? Does Lamoni only get involved in conflicts that threaten its interests?"

In order to ensure that the other felt included, Stinson then asked if the others had any questions.

"My people are also warriors but we've never faced war on our home planet. How ever we also stand up for allies and strike back hard if we are attacked" Kimiko replied with a little smile on her face.

She had listened as Adelaide posed the questions. The president led a nation which didn't back down from a fight and he might appreciate a first lady who felt the same.

Leah spoke up too.
"We have traditionally been a bit of a Greek nation- much time was spent fihting, but the arts received a lot of time too.

"In the last century, wars have generally decreased. We tend to fight off invasions, which occur on a seasonal basis due to being surrounded by hostile barbarian tribes, but we also try to intervene in intolerable situations overseas. Recently, for instance, Golden Rebirth banned public worship, and started seizing churches and killing the religious. We very nearly invaded there to end that debacle, but Presdient Astari was assassinated by one of his own citizens before that happened, and the new president saw fit to revise the law.

"So, can you tell us anything about your career?"

While there, I met a woman who I loved, but she was killed by a rare jungle disease contracted in Vilita. A little after she died, one of my sisters was diagnosed with a fatal type of cancer. I was so despondent that for a while there, I almost contemplated suicide. To this day, I do not know what kept me going; but I completed my degree, and ran for a seat on the Karakan City Council. I won the seat, and won an election to the Governorship of Muat state five years later. I was appointed Vice-President after the one before me retired, and became President when President Stone was killed in a short lived allied nation. I've subsequently been re-elected.

As for what it is like to be President? Imagine the eyes of every citizen in your country constantly watching you, and waiting for the smallest slip-up. Even when you do the right thing, there are still those who hate you because they think that you have done the wrong thing. As a politician, you have to do your best to keep a majority of people happy a majority of the time. There is litterally nothing else that you can do."

"I'm sorry about your losses," said Leah quietly. And although she heard sad stories all the time in her capacity as unofficial adviser, she always was truly sorry. Life had been good to her, but not so good to others.

"I think I know how you feel about the running of the nation. My dad- he's one of the regional kings- talks about it all the time. And as his unofficial adviser, whenever one of his plans angers people, it can seem like a commentary on my work also."

My adoptive family is huge, and there can be over two hundred people at the family reunions. My adoptive parents couldn't conceive, so all five of my siblings were adopted as well. I have three adoptive sisters, and two adoptive brothers. We will all be visiting my adoptive parents house tonight for dinner, as a matter of fact. But before that, we'll be going to the swimming pool here in the Palace, so I hope that you all brought swimming suits."

Adelaide did seem the more talkative of the women present but Kimiko was thinking she was the main rival she had.

Leah was closer to herself although but the next test in her mind was when the swimwear went on.

So she continued to eat lunch enjoying it. Being a first lady would be quite a challenge but she felt up it it.

"That was a very selfless thing of you to do, Adelaide. It also breaks the stereotype of rich people sitting in their mansions counting their money and chuckling at what they had to do to others in order to get that money. I have personally seen quite a few rich people who really do not care for the community that they live in, and it is nice to see that not all rich people are like that."

When lunch ended, the ladies were escorted to a changing room to get into their swimsuits; as well as have a chance to chat with each other. In the meantime, Andrew stayed in the room for a minute before Vice-President Cruz arrived in the room. Cruz was a very hard working man, who was also single. After exchanging some light banter, the question of what Andrew thought of the three remaining women came up.

"To be honest," he began, "all three are great candidates, and can keep up with being professional when called for. I'm hoping that one or more of them will make some kind of move on me soon. Maybe while we're all in the pool together."

Kimiko's black bikini was more like a skimpy strapless bra and panty set and just about covered what it was designed for. She also didn't fear a full wax and soon was ready for the pool as well as the swimsuit show.

This was an audition and something verging on a beauty pagent. The prize being a presidents heart and she was determined to win. With Neo Kirisubans being naturally forward she figured she had the edge here.

Leah put on the top of her bikini and smiled. Over the years, several men had told her that she looked stunning, and to be honest, she did. Now, in the pool, her body would be her greatest asset. And she would be showing it off- her black bikini barely covered that which as of now needed to be hidden.

She walked by Kimiko from Neo Kirisubo. From one female looking at another, the woman was attractive, but in all honesty she was definitely on the short side. Maybe that would count against her, and for Leah.

She slipped on a short, delicate robe to wear as she walked to the pool. there was no need to possibly embarrass the president by appearing like a near-stripper in front of his staff.

Kimiko belted over a black cotton kimono and also headed to the pool giving Leah a little appreciative smile.

They both were stunning and barefoot she walked to the poolside. The unveiling of both of them would be something special and would show what the President might be waking up to each day.

Leah walked over to the pool. She cast off her robe. Her body glistened in the sun as she stood there happily. Then she dived into the pool. But for a small amount of fabric she would have been skinny-dipping, and it felt liberating. As she swam, she made sure to stay where the sun would reflect off of her. She leisurely started to float on her back., making sure to stay with her feet to the door inside. The president would come out to see a very welcoming image.

Taking of her summer kimono Kimiko didn't dive in but gracefully slipped into the pool.

She started a backstroke as her black bikini that was extremely daring just about maintained her modesty. It covered more than Leah's bikini did but probally only just.

"I like your bikini" Kimiko gently said to Leah when she swam over to her.

"It reminds me of the swim wear back home in many ways."

When lunch ended, the ladies were escorted to a changing room to get into their swimsuits; as well as have a chance to chat with each other. In the meantime, Andrew stayed in the room for a minute before Vice-President Cruz arrived in the room. Cruz was a very hard working man, who was also single. After exchanging some light banter, the question of what Andrew thought of the three remaining women came up.

Adelaide donned an informal robe before heading off to the swimming pool; thinking about Andrew and the other women as she walked. She did see Leah and Kimiko and knew they would be considered attractive and knew they would threaten her chances of marrying Stinson, who she had become attracted to. In the dressing room, Adelaide donned her bathing suit which not only gave her a sense of modesty but was able to secure her slender frame and enchant men who'd look at her. She got into the pool and smiled at Kimiko and Lea. "Lunch was nice, don't you think?" Adelaide said with a smile as she got into the cool water. She uttered some words in German before beginning to swim. She may not have been wearing a revealing bikini like Lea but her modest swimsuit was still able to charm people.

Andrew had to admit that Kimiko knew what she was doing as she made the tension knots in his shoulders submit to her. The rhythmic motions on his shoulders made him relax deeply; but not so deeply that she wall fall underwater and drown. Though, with the three women around, there wasn't much chance of him drowning; now was there? He asked himself mentally with a satisfied smile.

Kimiko leaned into Andrew's back as she worked on his shoulders.

Leah drifted forward and started calmly playing with Andrew's hair. She made a point of obscuring his view of the other women, while making her own top half clearly in sight.

She then dive down a bit under the water, then shot back up, brushing against his entire front side as she did so. She smiled as she gently pulled herself up using his soldiers, mysteriously not letting go. She was now the only thing he could see, and she reveled in it.

"So," she purred, "have you ever had a girlfriend?"

Adelaide tried to get into Stinson's view by posing and showing off her features as best as she could; allowing him to see all the cleavage that was visible as well. She swam closer to him and tried her best to charm him into paying more attention to her; it probably made Stinson feel like he was in a private harem of sorts. Adelaide smiled at him and began saying tender words in both English and German; resorting to tricks that she developed back in the mother country.

Andrew could feel the others, but she was still the only one in his vision, and she intended to keep it that way. She began singing enticingly to herself- and, of course, to Andrew- a song about love (and sex, but he probably wouldn't know that) in Hindi and English.

"Andrew, why did you decide to search for a wife now? What prompted you to let another person into your life?"

Andrew still knew Kimiko was still there since she was still touching him but she'd let Leah lead the way for a bit.

Whoever was chosen the president would be a very lucky man. She was sure of that.

Leah continued to press forward,teasing Andrew's hair with her fingers. She let her hair swing a bit to the side and rest against his cheek. Such fine, soft strands repeatedly brushing against a nerve-filled area would undoubtedly fiol him with incredible sensations.

"Well, I simply got tired of there being no one there for me when I got home at night. No one to care for me in the ways that a wife (or even a girlfriend) does. I'm sure that the three of you understand what I mean, though Kimiko would probably have a better idea, with her culture having a distinct lack of males."

Andrew knew that all three women (Leah especially) were doing everything short of openly groping him at the moment, and he could feel himself getting quite... erect.

Adelaide decided to emulate Leah and Kimiko by joining them in their activities in the hopes that the President of Lamoni would notice her more than he was. As long as he paid attention to her, Adelaide had no problem with him. She continued to dance for Andrew before eventually preparing to rub his back while keeping a close eye on the others. Adelaide never felt it would resort to this; but she began to feel an attraction to this man and felt like doing whatever it took to make him hers.

"Our crews are all female but some people are lucky since they have girlfriends on board. Others aren't and have to wait until they can get home again" she added.

With Adelaide needing in she moved round slightly so she was now snuggling Andrew beside Leah. Kimiko was usually this playful when the mood took her.

Leah could tell that what she was doing was working. Her indicator came from down below. Something between Andrew's legs was starting to seriously push out into her thigh. She considered moving her leg, but then decided that she could use this as a measure of how well things were going.

"We, on the other hand, have a large male presence in our nation," she said, smiling seductively. "And we know exactly what to do with them."

She had never resorted to such tactics before when it came to charming a man but felt she was quite good at it. Adelaide overheard Leah's comment and began to speak in a refined but seductive tone of voice with a hint of a German accent.

"Herr Stinson should find that the women of the Ixanian Empire know well how to....please a man and how to show our devotion to them."

She wasn't insulting Adelaide, but German was a rather harsh language, and the resulting accent probably wasn't as good for seducing someone as her own soft voice with its Italian strains. Also, she felt that calling him "Herr' anything was far too formal for the situation. They were trying to marry him, after all. She moved even closer, moving her feet gently to keep from sinking. She hoped that Adelaide and Kimiko would as well, or Andrew would sink with them- they'd pull him down.

With Andrew now surrounded on all sides Kimiko smiled softly.

Each of them were playing their part in making him a happy camper and the bulge showed how much fun they were giving him.

She was also treading water otherwise they'd all sink and ruin the mood.

The Ixanian language was a language that could be perfectly moulded to suit the needs of seductive women and amorous men and Adelaide, wondering if German was the right choice, began to speak in the tongue of the people who had accomodated her family for so many years.

She gazed deeper into Andrew's eyes. "Almost every night, 365 nights a year, and we even have a holiday devoted to he subject..."

It most decidedly wasn't that he disagreed with the concept of monogamy (his society was monogamous); but he knew that all three of these women would be able to make him happy. He knew that he'd have to 'try them out' in bed at some point.

No one noticed the aide walking out to the pool in the violently displayed colors of the sunset until he opened his mouth. "I'm sorry Mr. President; ladies. But the President's mother is wondering when he will be bringing these three lovely ladies to the family house tonight."

Leah had been in the process of moving her leg and nearly her groin area against Andrew, but as she heard that she decided that it wouldn't be in her best interests if she caused him to go meet his brother with his pants sticking out. She slowed down a bit.

"I'll go and change, Andrew," she said, taking the liberty of giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. Then she rose out of the water in a very controlled fashion, all but shoving her body in Andrew's face. she made a point of subtly nudging him away from the other women as she went out, donned a robe in front of the apparently awestruck aide, and went to change into a more formal evening dress.

Kimiko looked up hearing the voice and wondering how the aide was perceiving this display of affection from the girls.

She also had a fair idea they might take the snuggling to the bedroom at some point as well which was fine by her. Her people believed that pillowing was very normal, natural and was an art form in itself. No guilt was attached to it in her culture.

Leah changed into a dark purple evening dress, adding two small earrings and a necklace. her neckline was again low, but still respectable enough for a man to show hiss mother.

Underneath the dress were some special considerations. A "bed test' may be coming up, and she ought to be packing come surprises. she wore a special bra and a thong with very little fabric, both in black. It was a temporary contraceptive which started working immediately, lasted for days, and carried a level of success matched only by total abstinence. It was also completely unknown outside of her nation. pleasure-killing contraception might be needed with the other women, but not with her.

When all was ready, the lead escort started to move out, followed by the limo, and the trailing escort. The nameplate on one of the stone columns where the driveway met the road read "Stinson," which would assure someone that they were at the right place.

She found her way to the limosuine and began engaging in small talk with the other women while waiting to arrive at the house of Stinson's parents. When they arrived, Adelaide began to think that Stinson's parents were simplistic and modest in that they did not value extravagance nor ask their adopted son for funds to finance a new living space. Adelaide immediately smiled at Stinson's parents and introduced herself. "It is a pleasure to meet both of you; my name is Adelaide von der Schulenburg. I must say that you have raised a fine and well mannered son."

Adelaide winked at Stinson briefly before looking at the other women; to see what they would do.

Now it was time to make introductions Kimiko found herself feeling a little nervous but she hid this well.

"Mr and Mrs Stinson I'm pleased to meet you both. I'm Kimiko Uehara" she warmly said bowing rather than shaking hands. That was her peoples custom and it allowed for more flexibility.

In this case it was a half bow because elders were honoured regardless of their status.

Leah took a seat and listened carefully. Watching the parents' responses to kimiko would teach her what they liked and didn't like, and allow her to format her answers accordingly. It was a great political skill.

Its like a cruise in space with entertainment, dancing, restaurants, games and all the normal things that go on during a sea cruise.

"it sounds magnificent," said Leah softly. Andrew hadn't made any move to remove his hand from hers yet, which was a good sign, and made her seem preferred in the eyes of the parents and the other candidates.

"Actually, several officials and government departments in the country, including my father and the theocrat himself, just bought 40000 shares in the company," she added. "i got the news from my sister- she's marrid to the theocrat, she just called me." time to mention some family connections.

She knew what this did look like but there was a long way to go yet. She only had a 33% chance of success anyway and she knew that when she started.

Smiling, Julia handed placed a packet of pictures onto the coffee table. Then she arranged them so that they could be seen by everyone in the room.

Even Andrew seemed drawn to the pictures, most of which he didn't even know existed.

Adelaide looked at the pictures and smiled; remembering the days she herself would look at her parents' old albums. "All of these pictures are in good condition; you must have treasured them, Mrs. Stinson."

This generation of Neo Kirisubans didn't have much in the way of families. 'Death day', the day of the bio weapon attack had seen to that.

They also didn't trick or treat and Kimiko looked curiousy at those pictures in particular.

There was pictures of her as a cute little girl and she knew how embaressing these could be.

"All of these pictures are in good condition; you must have treasured them, Mrs. Stinson."

"Oh yes, I do treasure them." An entire album of pictures was placed on the table.

Knowing what that album contained, Andrew started blushing uncontrollably. "MOM!!!!!!!!" he yelled, "Do you really have to show my baby pictures!?!??!"

Julia smiled, which made Andrew blush even more (if that were even possible).

After a nod of assent, Andrew left the room. His parents and the women were the only ones there; and Andrew's mother started to show off the baby pictures.

Kimiko returned a cute smile when Antonio introduced himself. She was sharp minded enough to notice he found her attractive as well as figuring he just might also be after a wife.

However she'd see what happened.

"Well, Mrs. Stinson," responded Leah, "Fluidism Viriline is a omewhat loose theocracy run on through Fluidism- in other words, we're a religious state, but it doesn't dictate all aspects of our lives, and there are very few rules mentioned in our scriptures. We do have a theocrat, though. Now, Fluidism maintains that everyone and everything in the universe has its own little piece of a special power inside of it, and certain actions and heredity pass these down and collect them. Different people have different amounts of this, though it can increase or decrease depending on what happens in your life. The universe in run by a groupof gods, some of whom are related. We tend to regard other religions' deities as lesser gods, or different visions and incarnations of our major ones."

Leah kept her eye on Antonio a bit, but she still preferred Andrew. She didn't know much about the Vice President so far. As it was, he already seemed attracted to Kimiko, which was nice for both Kimiko and Leah- one had another choice, the other had one less competitor. And Andrew was sitting between her and Adelaide.

Noting the time, Julia announced that she and Joseph were going to bed, and that it might be a good idea for everyone else to do likewise. The women looked like they might do likewise; and it was just happenstance that Adelaide's room was right next to Stinson's.

After everyone else had entered their rooms, Stinson knocked on Adelaide's door.

Maia was dropped off in the government transporter, she feared she would be late for the conference, she didnt like the idea of it being a dating parade, but she had been lonely for too long and her country need support.

She was tall, not slim, medium, with a few little curves, she had bright blond hair tied in elegant french plaits, she wore a purple iridescent little tea dress, she was nervous

Kimiko slipped into her own room getting out of her dress and jacket.

Her small case had went everywhere with her so far so her clothes went back into it and she went to bed in the nude.

Antonio was also on her mind. He was certainly attracted to her and now she had a secondary target. A man who might well be President some day.

Adelaide seemed to be in the lead so far but it was still early days.

Leah went to her own room. It was comfortable and well-kept. She took off her shoes and lay in bed for a bit, enjoying the feel of her bare feet brushing against the soft sheets.

She thought for a bit. The Vice president was obviously attracted to Kimiko, which might mean that the competition was now between her and Adelaide. She felt that there would likely be a physical test of the women later- Andrew just couldn't seem to make up his mind. As she removed her dress, she realized that Adelaide's room was right next to Andrew's. That area of the house would likely be busy tonight.

As she removed the lingerie which apparently wouldn't be needed that night, she mentally ran over the seamier parts of the scriptures of her nation's deities of love, and the special instructions attached to them. Noting the time, Julia announced that she and Joseph were going to bed, and that it might be a good idea for everyone else to do likewise. Everyone was told where their room was, Julia and Joseph left the room to prepare for bed. The women looked like they might do likewise; and it was just happenstance that Adelaide's room was right next to Stinson's.

After everyone else had entered their rooms, Stinson knocked on Adelaide's door.

Grumbling slightly as she thought about the way the difference between local time and ship time messed with her body clock she rolled naked out of bed and put on a silk dressing gown.

Then heading to the bathroom she started to get ready since it was 7am. She was having happy thoughts as the water cleansed her.

Leah rose at 7:15 exactly. It had become a habit for her to wake early and enjoy the morning.

She slipped on a mildly revealing- for Andrew- but still modest- for his parents- bathrobe as she went toward the bathroom. However, she heard someone in there, and decided to go back to her room and meditate for a bit. it was good to clear the mind before beginning a new day, and plan for the hours ahead.

Kimiko hadn't heard anybody enter and didn't need long for her shower.

So only a few minutes after Leah left the bathroom was free again.

Looking through her case she pondered what to wear today. She settled for a sensible sleeveless white blouse, a silicone bra and smart black trousers and small black heels.

If she felt cold she could always slip on the black suit jacket.

Her morning routine didn't vary that much and that included putting on her makeup and brushing her long black hair.

Leah heard Kimiko leave the bathroom.

She went back and continued to meditate while showering. She then brushed her teeth and went back to her room.

Leah slipped on a pair of basic but still sexy black lingerie. She then put on a pair of comfortable white pants- silk- and a short-sleeved shirt with faint but complex flower designs all over it.

Not waking up Andrew from his sleep, Adelaide woke up from her sleep to get dressed in a pretty but simple summer dress adorned with ornate designs and which showed some cleavage but was primarily modest; underneath was something similar to a corset; after all the corset was still popular in Ixania and had been modernized over the centuries. She brushed her hair, had a shower, and noticed Leah and Kimiko in the hallway. With a smile, she greeted them both. "Good morning, Leah and Kimiko. How did you sleep last night?"

"Very well," she replied. "How did you 'sleep'?"

Of course, it is hard not to with three lovely women around." A smile came with that; and the Vice-President came into the room. He flashed a very bright smile at Kimiko before he got some food for himself.

"The first thing that is scheduled for today is a press conference that the three ladies will participate in," Andrew said. "After that, we'll have a tour of Nephi, and then have a good time at a nightclub. The questions for the news conference should be fairly basic, likely having to do with your backgrounds and why you came here for this chance to be my wife. Should be fairly straightforward; but the press has been known to throw some curveballs all the time.

Though, I do have a question for both Kimiko and Leah. What is standard cuisine in both of your nations?"

"I would assure the citizens of this great nation that I'll be there to support my husband and the people. A nation is only as strong as the will to help the neediest of society and this would be a priority for me.

People can improve themselves and also their nation given the opportunity to do so" Kimiko replied showing her socialist colours slightly.

Her world had eliminated poverty, internal war, disease and money was practically a thing of the past. Something that was possible for any country to achieve given time and the right policies.

Leah smiled at Andrew.
