Well, I'll leave jolt roster changes up to Antigr for now...
As with upgrading people from observer to other.

Observer is pretty much the same as member but without the garanteed commitment, likewise, ADAN is not garanteed to help you, unless it's a slow month... (and it usually is).

DAN pretty much is observer with limits on how much of your military can get hosed up overseas in case some other member gets in trouble (and you're required to help, but on the upshot you are almost garanteed assistance if something bad happens)

AAN is the supposed 'strike-force' of ADAN, they go out and conquer for the good of the alliance.

Except nations in AAN/DAN take turns being aggressive or defensive, regadrless of title.

I would like to Join The Agressive-Defensive alliance of nations.
I have been playing since Dec '04 or Early '05, and was quite inactive on the forums then. I imagine Dfsdfs-Something would be quite big by now, but for the life of me, I can't remember the Username. This is Norsikia. Created somewhere in April '07. Population 2.297 billion, no major genocides yet, and one nice immersive region. As for my RP, like all new guys, I didn't set NSworld on fire with my first post(Which I recollect having involved parachuting Shocktroopers, or such), I suppose you could call on someone to verify me. But not many people have a taste of my genius. And poor sentense structure. Thank you and have a pleasant 11 AM.

Carbandia tends to be a pessimist/"voice of caution" for my crazy schemes. Usually somehow figuring anything and everything I do draws ADAN closer to a military confrontation with NATO, Golgoth, or both.

I recall him threatening to leave when I invited one player to join just so that I could have him get invaded by both his former allies and former enemies. Thankfully it didn't pan out and another NS war was averted due to liberal amounts of retconning.

But we love him all the same.

Meanwhile Antigr only worries about my actions because he's going to be downwind of any and all flak and fallout I recieve. Though he doesn't seem to mind minor scuffles, no matter how sensitive.
Mostly because he believes the propoganda I've been spewing since '06.
So he figures me vs Hyperspacial Travel would be a fair fight even though he outnumbers me 2.5:1 and has 4x the resources.

Dephire just thinks that if I'm not kept in check that I'd somehow overthrow him.
But I don't listen to that kind of gossip.
Since I'm pretty sure I know my own intentions and plans for ADAN.
He's also somewhat disillusioned to the effectiveness/practicality of my schemes.

So, I looked at his post really hard, said that Akimonad had done hardly any harm at all, so I'm asking him whether I can attack BL without 'aiding his [Greston's] enemy'.

So, given the green light, I go ahead. If not, I sulk and wish BL hadn't kicked me out of his last war to 'even up the sides'

Well, if you leave, we can't stop you, but when you come back you'd have to re-qualify and go through a background-check/audit.

Plus there's the off chance someone in ADAN get offended and drops a godrod on you in a manner simmilar to how Griffencrest reacts to "traitors" in the CA (which is just about everyone in his books -crazy paranoid old guy with parkansin's FTW!!!!).

Points of improvement would be full-naming of military equipment and place of orgin (designer/seller), a link or for some of the hard-to find stuff would also be quite helpful.
-Eventually someone's going to request an ORoBAT from you in the middle of a war RP, so number-crunching before getting into a war involving sufficient forces to decimate your whole nation would be a very good idea.


Your proximity to Greston, though it grants no real consideration in acceptance, does sweeten the offer.

Just don't enter and point fingers in a "holier than thou" crusade... As I rather like my extremists... They're kinda cute and cuddly once you get past them trying to kill the infedels...

I am currently on a "temporary leave of absence" (as HT put it). Since I am already in the Hegemony and the United Defense Dictorate (http://www.nationstates.net/region=united_defense_directorate), I would like to gain something along the lines of what Mokastana has-"Observer" status. I am currently on a "temporary leave of absence" (as HT put it). Since I am already in the Hegemony and the United Defense Dictorate (http://www.nationstates.net/region=united_defense_directorate), I would like to gain something along the lines of what Mokastana has-"Observer" status. Because I am interested in the ADAN, it's just I feel two alliances is way more than enough.

Mokastana is an observer because he's checking us over before joining.

Just to follow up for Leafanistan, the ADAN is still alive...though we are still chizling out the *ahem* bad eggs from our omlette. Had a nasty encounter with those who wanted to support an unwanted. We were mostly remaining hidden under the radar, but I've now taken hold of the reigns and hope to regain ADAN's once...better self.
