Valentina thanked Carlos as he helped her out of the helicopter. She walked inside her house and began looking for a dress. After ten minutes, she walked outside and smiled at Carlos.

While Carlos and Sabre were busy talking, Valentina talked with Vera about the two men who were interested in them. "It was a surprise to me that Carlos would even consider me. I thought that he, as an Emperor, would surely go for a wealthier woman such as a noblewoman, a landowner's daughter or even the Empress." Valentina sighed as she took a sip of her drink.

"Carlos is a nice person, Valentina. You should consider yourself lucky that an Emperor would be interested in you, a maid. That was not an insult." Vera said with a smile as she turned to look at Sabre and Carlos for a moment before she smiled again at Valentina. "Do you think we will get married?"

"If Carlos asked me to marry him, I do not know what I would say. I think we should wait until we know them more to decide." Valentina took another sip of her drink and looked at the nearby dancers. "I will dance if Carlos asks me. I should, I think, take advantage of this. After all, it is not every day that a female commoner is asked by a foreign monarch to go to a nightclub. Vera smiled at Valentina. "I never thought that I would be here myself. I never thought that I would find a foreign monarch's aide to fall in love with me at the Empress' gala but I know that I like Sabre. He is a good man and is nice to me. Hopefully, he'll stay that way."
