"Don't worry, they'll be out in less then a hour."

Rithiarian Military HQ
"Sir, the weapons are almost prepped"

"Well then, activate them, you idiot!"

Soon lights flash on and off. The weapons are online.

"Sir, Project Kakaru is online"

"Good"

Then both men laugh, with a slightly evil tone.

"Well, then don't kill to many people, we need civilian lives intact. Thats the Confederates job."

The commander smirked as he said that coldly into the phone.

"Yes!!" "WOO HOOO!!!" "Screw You, Mokas!!!"

Cries were cheered as the Mokastana troops seemed to be retreating. The Indonesian States' ships were harbored by Santa Villa, ready for any Navy Attack. Finally, the Indonesians gained a City. New orders awaited.

"Sir, Alfegos and GWO troops are heading here!"
"Crap, I hate those friggin GWO's"
"well, we gotta do somethin' about them, sir."
"Good thing another Division is coming, that makes it about 45,000 here, eh? (OOC: *hint, hint*)
"Yes, sir"
Well, we better fix up this place! get the AA's into shape, and keep the remaining Mokas artillery. Keep the very few POW's in the ships. The Medics can patch 'em up."

"Allright commanders, we got 8 divisions from the north pushing down on us hard. Without a decent supply or forces have been forced to retreat from what should of been an easy recapture of Santa Villa. To the south the Indonesian states have made a decent landing, we assume around 50,000 of them. That would require 3 divisions on the southern front just to keep things even, we are outnumbered, out gunned, and out of supplies, but lets show them what real Mokan war is like."

To the north of the Indonesian soldiers Mokan Divisions were rolling back to reclaim the lost areas. three supplied divisions, they would take a loss on the northern front but if they could push the enemy off the map they could get resupply from the north....

to the south 2 Divisions were being readied for battle. overall 100,000 men wold be pouring into Santa Villa for the recapture...

It would be bloody...

The bombers began their run on the enemy, but three were shot down before they could drop all their munitions. The others managed to drop all their munitions, including the EMP bombs, before they to were shot down as burning wrecks.

Below them, the area was turned into hell as clouds of gas mingled with masssive explosions and the invisible pulse of EMP.

Gas mixed with the flames, the EMPs killed the electronics in the SAMs and a few aircraft were lost in the mix. On the ground General Bulba's APC was torn apart by a bomb that landed on it, killing the command instantly. The other troops, now without orders, tried to find a working radio to signal a surrender.

(OOC: 'tis OK - We can do it here I reckon, unless it spirals out of control.)

Once the generalissimo was in the office, all the guards left, and the door was shut and locked. The field marshall quickly swept the room for bugs, before turning to the generalissimo.

"I pulled you here on matters of the utmost secrecy, on matters that we are not sure of the scale.
At the start of our largest battle yet on the independants, gas cylinders were placed on the defensive lines, containing sarin gas. A direct hit to a command vehicle set off I don't know how many, and as a result left a cloud of sarin in the area for about 15 minutes before it disaappated. We don't know the casualty rate yet, but we are informing you as we saw it fit.

From here on, what do we do?"

Alfegos has been fufilling its commitment towards its ally of Mokastana by supressing the revolution of the independants that threaten the entire country since the beginning, when you have only just intervened. We recommend that you stop supporting the independants, for a number of reasons:

1) You will be working against our positions in the alliance.
2) The Independants are losing. Big time.
3) Your money would be better spent on the winning force.

We therefore state that you should stand down, lest our Union come into jeperdy.

Canarias' first instinct was to kill the Field Marshall, but years of military experience and liaison told him not to. Instead he had to see how bad it was, no use getting more killed.

"How many would you guesstimate are dead? our intelligence showed that not very many people lived there and the few who did were behind Independent lines. Who authorized Sarin gas to be deployed on our soil?"

Canarias got up, he couldnt take this anymore and procceded to pace the room, he pulled out his cigarette case and after fumbling with his lighter for a few seconds he managed to lite a Mokan Fine. Taking a deep breath he continued to pace.

"I don't care about him, he switched back. Don't you know that?"

He slams the phone down and began cussing in Spanish to the wall, until he hears a noise behind him. He turns and sees the major....

"very well, what can i do for you?"

In the distance artillery shells are heard crashing down.

"The Northern wall is believed to of collapse back to the city, while the eastern perimeter is about to be boned by joint GWO, alfegos, Confederate attack. Commander Sanchez it is my duty to inform you that money is not an issue but that Nosovia is finally prepared enter this conflict to ensure a Mejico victory. Within a few minutes we will declare this to the world. Now while it would be ideal to wait for reinforcements, time is something we do not have. Our marines and paratroopers are linking up now. We hope to strike from the north and cut off Alfegos,GWO and the Confederates surrounding Mejico City from the sea and their supplies. Unfortanly we only have a few hundred tanks and IFVs. Our attack will continue regardless but the chances of success would be greatly increased if you could spare some tank companies for the attack.

It has just been announced by the offices of the Grand Czar that 5 Legions(100,000) army and marine personnel will be assembled to join the 25,000 soldiers already there. It was not specified when they would be sent, only that a draft will not be issued at this time...

The only people who know of this attack are me, my subordinate lieutenant-general, and 12 people in Alfegos High command. All copies of the deployment orders, detection orders and all the gas detectors have been destroyed, the latter being explained as they were faulty.

The only copy of this situation can be found in the vault. Only the librarian can access the vault, so we should be safe in that respect.

I am sorry about this sad situation: I reckon that the Independants did not notice it, and that the commanders have no evidence if they do accuse us. Only the bodies currently resting at the bottom of the sea, a few thousand metres below us."

Rogue Protoss had switch sides in the city and were quickly making a mess with the back lines deep in the city. Alfegos and Confederate troops had pushed up to the city and were reinforcing the Eastern Advance. Commander Sanchez was ordering that the city hold. It was to be the brick wall that crushed the confederate advance and destroys their spirits. Once Mejico City fell it was a land grab in the north, with all the available divisions fighting on the northern Lines. This was to be Sanchez's stalingrad, no one is to retreat, no one is to leave. Wave after wave of Confederates will charge and die. that was the plan, to make them spill so much blood they went back to their islands and gave Mejico what it wanted. "Well, since you ask, we still have about 2000l of nerve gas in the country still. We are thinking perhaps of removing it, so that we don't have this in future.

The other thing I wanted to mention to you was a recent heavy bombing of a suspected independant grouping area near Mejico, where EMP munitions and hundreds of tonnes of other munitions were dropped. We now however fear that aid workers could have been affected in the massive attack, yet we do believe it will be another step towards their surrender."

Those to are the troublesome generalissimos, but with their help we can convince his divisions to surrender and lay down arms, but if they get reinforced then they will keep fighting. In any part of Mokastana it was not uncommon to see an RPG or mortar in someone's house, especially Mokan Island. In Mejico the story was the same, civil war, people's wars, imperialism and chaos lead the people to form militias and fight for their land. They had stolen guns over the years and hid them away from governments, any one that tried to disarm the people was quickly booted out. Thats why the confederate Council before the war had voted to allow all infantry based weapons legal for civilian ownership. Mejico city was chocked full of guns....

Santa Villa

The people here were trying to flee, they knew what war looked like all to well, and now they could see these small asain men getting ready for battle once again. No doubt the Confederates wanted their city back. Central America was no doubt a great stratigic location, but the people were not fighters, not all of them anyways...

One lone man walked up to the Indonesian Command tent, or as close as he could before the soldiers told him to freeze. He simply responded with a smile and said:

Novikov ran as fast as he could for that corner wall. Breathing hard he hit his back against the wall, knelt onto one knee. Bringing his M16 up he peared around the corner, bringing a confederate soldier into his sights he steadied himself and fired two rounds watching just long enough to see the soldier fall back. He waited until the Merkava rounded the corner and fired off a round at a confederate ifv.

Along the Nosovian front the marines are making decent progress using there tanks and BMPs to clear the path. The airborne troops are moving slower as the Independent tanks haven't made it to the front yet. They are advancing in the Nosovian Zeta formation. Zeta formation is when a platoon provides covering fire for a squad(8) run or crawl forward in 2by2 formation. Once that squad reaches cover it then join in providing covering fire for the next squad from a closer position. The entire platoon will advance in this way until they get as close as they can. Then a point will be chosen along the enemy lines to break though.

"As a matter of fact, last time we saw him he was running a Anarchist group on Mokan Island,(The same island with our capital on it) they used to be true anarchist back in the old days. Ones who worked in Communities and ignored the socialist governments, but eventually they began terrorist attacks against the local military, government officials and the sort. Eventually we got agents deep into his group Anarquia and learned that their philosophy is to burn the world down, and return us to a primitive state, to start over. They, in other words, wanted to destroy society to make it anew. How he ended up leading the Mejico revolution is beyond us, but one thing is for sure, is he doesn't care for those people. We wants to bring in as many people as he can and turn Mejico into a death trap for the world to send their armies into to die. He wants the allies of allies of allies to bear down and burn each other to the god damn ground. If we can neutralize him then that will bring us one step closer to the end. Mejico City was a smoldering wreck, artillery shells pounded any target that they could be given and Bombers were flying over raining death unto the unfortunate populations underneath. Imagine Stalingrad. Only all the damage done to that city was done in three days rather then months of battle, entire districts were being leveled by artillery fire to prevent escape and cause a slaughter of enemy troops, Confederates held onto the northern ruins. While to the south those who could flee did and replacing them was reinforcements from Indonesia, and to the west Nosovia was bringing in reinforcements. Para-dropping in They were reinforcing the men fighting against the Protoss attack. Confederate planes attempted air superiority against enemy transports and fighters.

Sanchez new that he couldn't muscle his way to keep the city forever, not with 6 millions Protoss in between the lines, but with enough artillery fire and SAM support he would turn the table and take as much of them with him as he could. 12,000 guns were brought to bear against the Capital, each one firing 205mm shells into the bloody mess.....

Aflegos/Confederate advance

Artillery shells from guns up to 100 miles away were landing all around the advance, saturating the lines. Mokan Fighter/bombers flew over to try and neutralize the guns.

"Ok comrades, we have made it to Mejico City, this will not be easy. We will have to earn and fight for every inch. Already the northern front and Rogue Protoss troops are in the city. Reports from the north say that they are fighting to the last man. Much of the city is rubble and much more of it is in enemy hands, official lines are not known. It is block by block fighting. No single supply line feeds any farther then 3 miles into the city. In the deeper portions everyone is moving around. When we get in always check your 6."

An artillery shell landed near the commander and he fell over, but soon got up.

"Remember, they are fighting for every inch, lets take it from them. Alfegos has been given full control of this advance, so Field Marshall Juk'li Hl'oan will be giving the orders. Charge!!!"

"Alfegos is siding with the enemy man? Are you a Communist?" ( note: Most Indonesians are Anti-Communist, and a few call all enemies "Commies")

Other threats like these were thrown at the few bystanders at the side of the street siding with Alfegos. Soon they fought with each other. It turned into an all-out war until the Indonesian Security were able to break it up, and that was after a full 2 hours. The Indonesian Security and Alfegos Securty tied up and arrested 116 Protesters. Almost 300 Protesters were injured. Sanchez knew that he couldn't muscle his way to keep the city forever, not with 3 millions Protoss in between the lines, but with enough artillery fire and SAM support he would turn the table and take as much of them with him as he could. 12,000 guns were brought to bear against the Capital, each one firing 205mm shells into the bloody mess.....

Capt. Kalinin had split up his MASH tent into over two dozen smaller camps after the last role call. He had lost well over 500 Nosovian people to bombs and artillery mostly, but also rifle fire from the front. He was reading a inventory list of what they had left when someone from the comm tent came running up to him.
Sir we've lost contact with camp 3 and 7. They may of been over run with confederate soldiers sir or they're radio could of failed.. We just don't know, but they were in the north eastern suburbs so there's no way to be sure.

---------------------------------------

General Vasiliev was pleased. Since the Mejico divisions arrived they had been decent progress. Their anti aircraft weapons were doing their job, allowing us to advance with few bombing runs against them. It was costly however having lost 15% of the Nosovian troops and 30 % of the Mejico troops who were often sent in with the tanks into villages and towns.

Novikov jumped into a ally way as the Merkava he had been following was destoried as 3 confederate tanks made their way up the road. Boris get on that radio. We need air support. Coming around the corner he fire on full automatic with his M-16 forcing two confederates to fall from were they had been advancing from.

Within eight minutes nearly 90 Mejico Apaches strafed the area with 50" caliber machine guns and anti tank rockets. However 14 were in turn shot down by a confederate MIG squadron.

OOC: you got a pic or specs or what does it do?

what kind of guns does it have? 25mm? 30mm? Just so i know if its an AT weapon or infantry killer.

OOC: 25mm turrets, and 30mm cannons(Shell). It's a surprise attacker with a drill that allows it to go a short distance underground, then to come back up and start attacking. It is very fast, and can run through enemy lines quickly to break lines, and firing upon any opposers. The weakness in this weapon, is it's armor, it has a very thin sheet of armor around it's main metal body. (To sum that up, it's a Infantry Killer)

Please, could you save the fighting for Tomorrow. Today is a Holy Day for Muslims (The Majority of Indonesians) and we wish not to fight. If you bomb us during prayer, that will be very, very unacceptable. At the least please save the fighting for the next day.

General Beltway sat down, analyzing the situation with various Naval and Ground officers. "How could we be sure this isn't another Tet offensive?" asked one of the officers. "Simple, we'll keep our men on maximum alert status. I personally expect this to be a trick," replied General Beltway. Across the GWO Front, troops were digging in, preparing for an offensive.

During that day tonnes of supplies, such as food, water, and bullets were driven through the Indonesian lines towards The men who were trapped in the north. The trucks from the north went down pulling out wounded and other non-combatants. This was just what the confederates needed to get themselves ready for this long haul....

Escorts were with all trucks just in case it was a trick, all with airforce on standby...

Generalissimo Yuri had made it to the Mejico Command Center. His Duty was simple. take command of the battle and convince the enemy to surrender. He walked in casually, getting a feel for the place. Judging by the calmness of the officers he summed up to things...one, that the battle was going better then planned, and two, none of them had been on the front lines before...this would be interesting.

He walked over the the General and told him to get him some Vodka..

"Why the hell would you better be-"

he turned pissed off and saw who it was and his complextion changed completely.

"Yes sir Generalissimo Yuri"

"Now somebody give me a microphone to broadcast on all channels. Both ours and theres."

A pair of APCs drove across the original front line of the earlier battle, about 10 km behidn the current frontline. They however were not ordinary infantry: the APCs were painted black with a burning skull on the side. These were part of the special regiment.

They drove along until they found a deep ditch hidden amongst the trees.
"We've got some."
The 6 men onboard poured out of the back, holding empty black bags. After a minute, 8 full black bags were pulled into the back of the IFVs. There was the acrid smell of Sodium Hydroxide that had decontaminated the bodies now loaded in the APC.

"Only 10 more kilometres, and we're done."

The back of the APC was filled with black body bags, as well as a large stack of blue-green cylinders. They had been sent to do a final cleanup of the area, so that no evidence could be gathered.

90 miles north of Mejico city.

LT.Leonid watched as what remained of his platoon set up a defensive perimeter. All along the Nosovian and Independent lines avengers, SAMs and more numerous hand held stinger missiles were firing into the sky at confederate aircraft. With casualties mounting and the advance stopped cold, any hope of cutting the supply lines from Mejico city and the sea were dashed for the time being. Nearly all of the Mejico choppers had been wiped out and the anti aircraft weapons would start running dry soon if help didn't come.

Mejico City

General Vasiliev watched as less than a mile away confederate jets were ripping up his front line. Heading back to a three bedroom house which now served as his headquarters he addressed his field commanders. Alright. We're out of options. We will either continue the advance and grab the enemy by the throat and rip out their jugular or they'll continue bombing the shit out of us. We have to attack now! Commander Tarasov says he'll cover our advance as best as he can but we simply don't have enough planes in the air to contend with confederate numbers. It will be up to the infantry to break though. We wait until night fall then I want a full attack along the entire line. The room full of stony faced officers replied with a yes sir and crisp salutes before leaving to notify the troops.

A few hours later.

Novikov and what remained of his platoon were checking their ammo as shells continued to fall around them. There hadn't been much time to rejoice after the confederate withdrawal before the bombing began, and now they had just been notified of their orders to attack at dusk. The emp bombs had wiped at most communication between the various units forcing them to resort to runners. Novikov took a moment to open the locket he always carried with him, which contained a picture of his wife, when the platoon sniper Dimitri saw him and walked overDimitri: Isn't she supposed to be giving birth soon?
Novikov: Yeah. Any day now actually.
Dimitri: Congratulation's then. Dimitri patted him on his shoulder and smiled before walking back to their BMP. His ability to be calm and casual in even the most extreme circumstances had always puzzled Novikov.

Cpt. Chervirka didn't believe in god. But none the less he said a silent prayer as he and 41 other MIG pilots flew just over the tree line trying to avoid enemy radar as they flew straight for Mejico city. None of them would have say it over the air but the general feeling was that they were flying a suicide mission. They knew their duty, but more importantly they knew what could happen if someone was suspected of contemplating desertion from the Nosovian Empire. So they just kept there mouths shut and their eyes on the controls.

"Prepare the screamers!"

The mortar barrage had forced the men not travelling in vehicles to find cover either side of the road. The AT mines that had earlier taken out a few tanks had been taken out had been made threatless by the introduction of a few front-line tanks with mine ploughs.

Now they had a chance to scare their enemy into submission. Above them, the airship floated, launching the occasional salvo into the burning city. The artillery behind them launched a barrage of missiles.

Each of these missiles though was deisgned for the purpose of fear: as well as carrying a warhead of napalm, they had a loud piercing siren that issued an uncanny screamn at near 120DB. It had worked in the civil war when it had pretty much caused a regiment to surrender after an hour. But would it work now, expecially with the rumours of toxic gas warfare from Alfegos and biological warfare from an ally?

As the barrage landed, the tanks hit full throttle and began to open up.

Back in the Command Bunker troops were picking up all kinds of signals. Most were not from Division Colonels but rather from lower officers such as Lut.s and Captains. The Mejico army was formerly a portion of the Confederate army, and many officers had looked up to Generalissimos and other leading officers. Generalissimo Yuri was one of the most popular with the lower ranks. Always drinking and bring cheer to his men he kept the engineers and fellow soldiers in high spirits. Though most of the upper ranks hated his drinking habit, it added to his charisma.

------------------------------
A few hours later.

Mejico city, formally Nosovian aid camp 7

The Problem with Idenifing Confederate and Independent troops was always hard. Both sides wore the same outfits, had the same race in them, and both sides used similiar doctrines. So when a man came out shouting "Over here" he was quickly helped by what he thought were Independents, only to find out the opposite. After he was checked for weapons he was sat down on what was left of a stool and one soldier walked up and sat down across from him.

"Greeting I am Corporal David Quran, what happened here and where are you from amigo?"

90 miles north of Mejico city.

"Sir they busy with the aircraft. Shall we begin the counter attack?"

"Yes"

The Nosovian Spearhead threw the lines had left many troops on either flank. They had regrouped as the Nosovians marched onward and then got bombed to hell by the airforce. Now 6,000 men from the northside and 5,000 men from the south side charged in with Ironhearts and and T90s to squeeze the enemy and hopefully spit it up giving the Division a chance to reclose the hole and trap them on the Confederate side. It was a hope but they would see

Airspace over the battle

"Command, we are getting shot to hell here, we lost about half of our bombing units."

"Pull back to base, we got another team of MIGs coming in to cover your escape. 50 in all. Get out of thier now!"

"Yes Command!"

The replacement MIGs were using passive IRST scanners, based on heat rather then radar they would pick up the enemy MIGs, however with a shorter range then radar they would have to be closer, so initially the enemy would have the element of surprise...

The screamers shriek pierced the tear gassed battlefield with a haunting shake to the Independents moral. watching each one land and burn was horrific, but the screams... If the Indpendents had a place to retreat to they would, but that was it. This was their last stand, behind them was the street to street battles of the city, line less and chaotic, in front of them was the Alfegos advance, many began to surrender and the few who didn't fought on...

The tanks hit the positions as the tear gas cleared: a mix of M1A3 Warhounds and LY4 Wolfhounds, each deadly to the troops in cover. The tanks didn't bother to stop to take the positions: they went cross-country, smashing straight through buildings and walls, crushing the ruins in their path. They left the few bemused rebels to face the main forcfe of mechanised infantry, who engaged in fierce firefights with the rebel forces while the few platoons equipped with FIBUA kit went to assault the extremely troublesome enemies.

The surrendered troops were loaded onto LS-Vs of the logistics regiments, the same used to collect the bodies of those that were gassed in that fatalistic error. They were escorted back in vehicles reeking of disinfectant to Cacun, to the PoW camp set up temporarily.

They had still held their ground and even threw the enemy back in a few places. That was until a Mejico tank company opened fire on their rear. 9 men. That was it the rest of his men was either KIA OR MIA. They had only managed to escape because for a short time Confederate tank fired on them. Praetor Artanis decided to motivate the Carrion Eaters by telling them that their drug supplies had been taken by Nosavian Troops and were right now being utilised for nosovian troops, the CE troops were pissed, and they just charged the Nosovian troops who had been moving up from the reserve postions, screaming and yelling gibberish, they charged the reserevists, ripping their throats with their claws before bombing the tanks

"God damn sir, how can we take prisoners if we dont even have a secure line back to HQ?"

"Shut up private!"

Mejico City

"Sir we got troops turning to our side all across the board. Not doing much but effecting enemy moral, they do seem to be doing good at that though sir, no way to organize them though. Its pure confusion on in the enemy lines."

"Good"

Generalissimo Yuri took another sip of vodka, this was not what he planned, sure the surrender was what he was after, but switching sides....a bonus yes, but not quite effective...

"Any hope of getting around the south?"

"both sides lack the forces to do that sir. We got two on two Divisions, its pretty even. Both sides don't want to back down. However in the far north the Lyras advance will only run into surrendering troops, until they hit south of Saltillo. They've lost, they just don't know it."

The MIGs saw the incoming missiles and fired back their R-77s (two each= 60) and turned like hell. After flares and chaff 26 planes went down and many bombers still took some damage. The ground forces on the Confederate lines fired thier own SAMs at the enemy MIGs and hoped to take a few out.

Sanchez sat in his bunker giving final orders before he fled the city. This would be it, he needed to get out of the country.

Now he would wait till all he enemy forces were in the city before he detonated it. An underground Nuclear explosions would do massive EMP damage, but most importantly tear the city apart from the ground up. Sending radioactive debris everywhere....

The tanks began to suffer from the RPG fire. Not a problem once their positions were blasted from artillery or blinded by teargas, but soon the advance was slowed to a crawl as minesweepers were damaged or destroyed. The advance was now well into the 11th street, and with a foothold in the city they would be hard to remove.

Artillery had moved further inland now, blasting out holes in streets filled with enemy rebels, while the airship malevolantly patrolled the sky, daring someone to attack. If the Nosovians tried anything, the massive internal payload of missiles and the advanced ECM and defence system would defeat them. Rebels and Independents ran threw the streets. Occasionally a Stinger missile or RPG would fire at the giant air ship. However the Indpendents knew that those airships were key to to moral victory, So in response to that they deployed a flight team of 5 MIGs to take it out. Each armed with two R-77 missiles to hopefully destroy the floating base enough to take it down.

On the ground Mines were scattered about in an irregular fashion. The militia was using hit and run tactics, AT teams, consisiting of one RPG-29 and an AM-07 or other assault rifle would hide in the rubble fire off a missile and then run like hell.

Six blocks down the Indepnedents held one of Mejico Cities three squares, In it they were organizing the counter attack. T90s from an assortment of units and Ironheart APCs were forming and fortifying a line, they didnt dare to charge into the battle. after all there were confederate AT teams too.

Now the Ironheart SAMs managed to get into position. 6 Functional ones fired 2 missiles each into the floating balloon of the enemy, hoping to do some damaged.

In the city the heavy tanks were having difficulty due to the lack of usable road and most buildings you could tell apart from the rubble. However they would often set up older RPG-7s upright in the sewer man holes and when the heavy tanks rolled over they would fire into the bottom of the tanks. Along the underside of the airship, a massive fireworks show took place: 20kg of decoy flares and chaff fired out from concealed launchers, lighting the sky purple and electric blue, while the radio channels became an inaudible scream in the area.

8 missiles took the bait and flew off, while the other four impacted into the envolope. Each one on impact with the 20mm kevlar armour exploded, ripping a small area open. The six Ironhearts rolled away fast after the launching and were then chased soon by the CrossbowIV missiles. Racing threw the ruins they were hoping to use the burning city rubble as cover, but getting an APC moving fast from sitting in attack position was not the most recommended way of avoiding missiles. One managed to escape thanks to an old archway that took the missiles for it. The rest ended up as joining the city as burning rubble.

The other structures faced similiar fates by the artillery. However with those buildings they lasted longer allowing the enemy to escape. Now a few dozens independent troops were in the streets, being hit by pop shots by Confederate troops as they raced for another pile of rubble to hide in.

A part of the missile rack fell down onto the city, completely empty. The next tier above became active: this one was coverd in small Screaming-Oblivion missiles. While it could easily end an enemy attack below, it did require a target to be marked and a request, of which it had to prioritise.

Below, the vehicles beagn to suffer even more, until the advance was halted. Underneath their feet, 2 infantry companies moved through the damaged sewer and utility systems, clearing out the hidden rebels. If they could take the sewers, they would be able to bring troops almost anywhere and stop the enemy from doing that in return.

The front line of vehicles dug in for the night, while the IFVs of the mechanised infantry hid amongst ruined buildings with the crew members hiding in machinegun nests for the night. A lieutenant had described it as Stalingrad. Anyway, it was about to become a meat-grinder here.

The ruins still standing that shot at the Alfegans were blownup by the artillery and the airship, while the Alfegans messaged Rougue Protoss, to ensure that the penal legion beserkers did not attack them.

In the sewer the Alfegos troops hit something hard. Just like the Vietcong tunnels the independents had been using the sewers to trasport and run men and supplies. Machine guns nest and infantry were running left and right. Seeing Alfegos troops in took them by surprise. Allowing the alfegos troops take lots of pipe line quickly. However soon they ran into long pipes with machine guns at the end tunnel. Behind them the Independents ran ordered back to command that the sewers were breached.

Commander Sanchez was in the tunnels when the word hit that the ALfegos were in it.

"Shit if they find that nuke then we are fucked! Get me out of here!"

In the sewers the Independents had dug new tunnels. leading to and from the sewers. He was in one leading to the Northern Mountains towards Nosovian lines. If he could make it there then it all would be ok. After the tunnel was blasted of course.

He looked around at the tunnel ahead, and pulled his head back as the machinegun opened up on him again. The tunnel ahead din't exist on the map.

"They're digging tunnels! Get back to Cacun on this."

He shoved the PDA into the hands of a sergeant crouching nearby, loaded the AAT-87 misisle launcher from a fallen comrade, and hit the dumb switch. He then made a quick estimate, before ducking out and firing the heavy HEAT warhead at the enemy position, the blast of the backflame negated by the unusual back-blast turbulator. Two guys behind the now blown to peices MG nest ran into the dust and crap it threw up armed with a RPG-7. They aimed down the sites at the other groupd and fired unto the advancing men. Behind them Claymores were set up to slow the advance. While the tunnel did not lead to Commander Sanchez directly it did lead to the escape tunnel 40 meters down, to a side sewer that Sanchez was using to escape.

The nuke was in a secure location being prepped by a suicide squad. These men knew it was death, but like Sanchez, their goal was not an Independent Victory so much as chaos, and one nuclear device would cause all the chaos they could want. The countdown was activated 30:00 minutes and counting...

However in the tunnels the Independents had an advantage, while most armies would hide from MGs and bomb it, the berserker charged it head on, getting slaughtered by the stream of bullets.

When the MGs ran dry the team would open fire with AM-07s using Drum clips, keeping the horde away long enough to reload the MG. Claymores fired as the horde approached and on the MGs that were overran Claymore detonated behind them as well. Soon they were in one of the four central armories....

"Hold them back at all cost! If we lose this then all of Northern Mejico City is lost! Hold them back!"

They fired round after round into the advancing horde. The MG nest outside the Armory fired off the guns along with the drum clipped soldiers, the claymores were readied for when they got close and for when they overran. However beyond that was piles of bullets and rockets and grenades. It would get ugly.

"Very well, Now where did this attack come from and where did it go?"

"God damn sir, how can we take prisoners if we dont even have a secure line back to HQ?"

"Shut up private!"

Boris tryed his best to keep his voice from cracking as he spoke to the soldier.

----------------------Above Mejico City

The MIGs saw the incoming missiles and fired back their R-77s (two each= 60) and turned like hell. After flares and chaff 26 planes went down and many bombers still took some damage. The ground forces on the Confederate lines fired thier own SAMs at the enemy MIGs and hoped to take a few out.

2 minutes in the Nosovian pilots were amazed that the confederates didn't send in backup. Even with ennital casualties rather high(16down) moral seemed to get better. Staying close to their targets(to make it harder for the SAMs to lock on)the Nosovians swarmed individual confederate planes in pairs or threes.

Sanchez sat in his bunker giving final orders before he fled the city. This would be it, he needed to get out of the country.

"Nosovia Command this is Commander Sanchez, in the event of a Independent loss of the war, can i live in exile in Nosovia?"

After Commander tavov listened to Sanchez's message he responded while trying to suppress a smirk.

Commander. I'm afraid you misunderstood our agreement. The Empire of Nosovia is committed to the Mejico movement. We have been preparing for this for sometime. That is the reason that none of the hardware we donated to you has left Puerto Vallarta. Should the war go badly we will negotiate a peace in which Puerto Vallarta becomes an independent state. Should that fall and all mejico forces are swept away we are prepared to set up and support cells of freedom fighters with your nation. Now it is perfectly except able that should that happen you will be allowed come to Nosovia to train and plan forces for the recapter of Mejico.
But listen carefully to me now. We are 100% committed. Should you find yourself less than equal to the task ahead we will find someone who is. There will be a Independent Mejico regardless!

Praetor Artanis decided to motivate the Carrion Eaters by telling them that their drug supplies had been taken by Nosavian Troops and were right now being utilized for Nosovian troops, the CE troops were pissed, and they just charged the Nosovian troops who had been moving up from the reserve positions, screaming and yelling gibberish, they charged the reserevists, ripping their throats with their claws before bombing the tanks

Dimitri fired another round. Direct hit. What ever these berserker's were they weren't smart. Charging directly at enemy lines they were mowed down or surrounded. He had watched as mobs(they couldn't be called soldiers) of these suicide freaks would charge down a road only for Independents or marines to pop up from the roofs of buildings and wipe them out. He was particularly interested in one street where three groups of those things had ignored the bodies of their brethren only to be killed in the same way. As he watched he could tell that after the shock of the attacks wore out and it began to seem like just another enemy tactic that the Nosovian discipline was starting to tell.

The airship fired off a single missile at the GPS co-ordinates. It was painted black, and it was big. It fell out of the sky onto the target in the midst of the ruins, before 30kg of H6 detonated.

The flamethrower did its job and did it well, maybe a little too well. mixing with the methane from the sewer what little oxygen existed down there was quickly consumed by the fire. Pulling more methane oxygen towards it and releasing fire in both directions.

Long story short, there were no Independents left to fight the advance, and now with the sewer collapse they had no way to reach the tunnel that Sanchez was leaving by.....

The lines to Mejico City were filled with burned APCs and tanks off all types and models, mass graves of infantry and Militia for both sides were being dug on the sides of the road. The battles of the Alfegos spearhead could be told by the scorched earth and death patterns and downed planes.

As they approached the City the craters made by shells were obvious, in the distance the smoking ruins of Mejico City could be seen. The once glorious Capital of the Mejico Region was now a modern Stalingrad.... Dresden.... Hiroshima.

Planes flew over fighting for air superiority as the shells flew passed everywhere hitting targets that had already been hit a dozen times. Numerous armies fought over the city as it was the the Capital, Largest city and hope of the Mejico People.

We have been training troops to defend the region and making preparations to defend it. Along with the coming Nosovian Legion and another aircraft carrier, 200 SAMs, and 12 MIGs will be given to Mejico forces there. If the confederates attempt to attack this region they will face over 30,000 Nosovians as well as are fleet which will be able to act as artillery. I can't go into more detail yet. Just know that this war is far from over.

As for more troops being stationed there. It is an impossiblity as the army Legion won't land for another 16 hours and our forces nearby are surrounded and disorganized. For the time being it appears that Mejico city is a lost cause unless there are other allies capable of getting there before us. I will be sending a marine platoon to meet you and bring you here as soon as you give me your coordinates.

Northern Mejico

Over the past few days things had gone from bad to worst. Of the 25,000 Nosovians sent, 10,000 had been sent with an equal number of Mejico forces to Mejico city. Those numbers had since fallen to 3,000 Nosovians and an unknown number of Mejico forces. 90 miles north things were even worst still. Only 1200 had managed to survive and not been captured with most of the Mejico forces having been captured or worse switching sides. About 8 % percent are believed to have escaped. Most of the Nosovians had formed a defensive line around three villages in a desperate last stand.

Major Kristoum (the highest ranking officer in the north) went over the situation once again with her captions.
Alright, the good news is we've managed to fend off one badly organized attack so far. We were able to bring most of the avengers and SAMs here, so it's unlikly the enemy will be able to air drop troops or bombs. The bad news is we are as of 87 minutes ago completely surrounded. Given the number ratio we don't have enough troops to fight off a large scale attack. Ammo is limited while the food situation is worse. If we don't catch a break soon we'll be overrun within twenty four hours...

LT.Leonid watched out the second story window into the woods. He and his men were to defend one of the main roads into the village by waiting until the enemy passed them, then attack from behind. With little more than a squad under his command it felt like suicide mission. Surrounded, low on food and ammo moral was low. Most of the men felt like it was over. That they should rise a white flag and hope for mercy. THAT however was out of the question for the high command, which meant it would be treason. He would let his men do it. It would be suicide. Even so he couldn't get the same thoughts out of his head. It was hopeless. The enemy was still confused but as soon as they regrouped they would come and there wasn't much they could do to stop them.

With increasing Rogue P artillery coming to bare General Vasiliev had to face the truth. Mejico city would be lost. He began a fighting withdrawal to the outskirts of the city.

Nivikov ran followed his squad down some street that was supposed to lead them the hell outa there. Turning on his heel he fire three wounds into a CE soldier before turning and running after the rest of his men.

IC:

The tunnel collapse, preventing further psychos from getting in that way...however at least 12 survived and were tearing supplies and men apart until they were put down by the stopping power of 7.62x54mm bullets. The other three exits were put on high alert to be weary of what comes up, it was decided that if they ask for bullets, they are probably friends....

Running low on ammo and with no chance of victory the remaining 19 MIGs broke off the engagement and made for the Nina.

"Yeehaw! Those bastards are heading home. Ok boys lets get this place clear for some more bombing runs! I want to make sure their grunts know the damage of our bombers!"

"I must apologize but given that i am currently in a sewer right now i dont think you can, meet me 5 miles west of Mejico City, the location is XX,YY. The emergency tunnel leads there and i fear that i am the only survivor of high command."

Machine gun fire continued to hose the long tunnels with lead, soon it was amazing that with the blood flowing that someone could still run over those bloody slimy bodies and still charge full force into a MG nest.

While the MG units kept the enemy back engineers set explosives around the entrances. All avaible units were sent to secure the only left door, D. Once A and C fell they would only rely on D for everything.

Outside units running low on supplies were coming down tunnels and running into the large mob of zombified creatures known as RP troops. They fired into mobs, but mostly they just ran like hell.

The two men pulled into the side of the tunnel as dust was thrown up by silenced rounds. After the firing stopped, they advanced slowly. There had obviously been something sinister going on: bodies of guards and independant soldiers lay acorss the tunnel. And the bodies of independant generals. The lieutenant put down a GPS waypoint marker, and set it to red setting: call in re-enforcements.

He checked his gun was loaded, then cocked it. The private re-light the pilot flame on the flamethrower. There was movement ahead, and the flash of a torch. The people were chatting urgently, and they picked up snippets of conversation. 8 minutes til what?

The lieutenant decided to go for the gungho approach. He turned on the underbarrel torch, flicked the laser pointer to full power and lifted up his gun at the figures ahead. The private beside him fired off a warning ball of flame from the flamethrower.

"FREEZE! Now put your hands on your head SLOWLY! And now tell us: 8 minutes til what? If you don't tell us, you'll be cooked!"

- Please delete your post and come back later when you have read the stickies and read the other posts in this thread, so that you have an idea of what is happening and have an idea of the sort of standard the posts are usually expected (Rogue P, can you take heed as well?)

I can tell you that, in Mejico city, things are either won for the confederates or everything is about to go bellyup.

If it is the latter, there is a chance the independants will win. If it isn't then you are looking at rather a large force turning up to say hello in the areas under your control...

(OOC: 'Tis not a problem)

Back in Cacum high command, there was an arguement going on. As usual.

"Ladies! Calm down!"

The field marshall stood amongst a crowd of people yelling at each other, with papers flying around. Soon, they were calmer

"Right, we have the problem of Indonesian States. They are one of the few countries that stand in the way of the Confederates winning. There is intelligence suggesting an Independant training camp in the area. What do we suggest?"

"Call in an airship in the area: we know from most of our reports that their air defence is almost non-existant."

"We can't be too careful: send in the AAS Redeemer along with Airdestroyers AAS Gale and AAS Breeze. They seem to be moping about doing nothing but naval defence, which Lyras has covered."

"Good. The orders have been dispatched and the ETA is three hours"

_______________________________

In the skys above the area, there was a drone as three airships came over: one was an aircruiser, with a 1200 tonne payload of missiles ready for attack. Either side of it were two Airdestroyers, designed to use their missile pods and autocannons to completely destroy enemy aircraft.

Within 2 hours, they were able to begin plotting targets into their computer systems with direct feed from satellites in the area as well as a UAV just launched from the AAS Gale. Within 2 and a half hours, the missiles were hot, ready for barrage. They would have the first strike against the Independants. They would attempt to cause minimal damage to the Indonesians, but in battle...

Ironically it was a soldering ruin.

The older Marines were quickly reminded of the numerous campaigns during the GWO's founding. The burnt buildings, the bodies, the chaos even when nobody was shooting. The only thing seperating this from the GWO's foundings was the lack of nuclear fallout, Grups, or Grup-Infected humans. It didn't matter, however. The Marines had an uprising to fight, a job to do. The armored vehicles began entering formations, with lighter vehicles in the center and heavier vehicles forming rings around them.

When the flames were unleashed down the corridors it did nothing short of its job. A perfect mix of napalm scorched down the corridor at a warm 900+ degrees, the wonderful thing about this napalm was that it sticks to anything. Walls, men, pants, roof....anything.

There still is the 100,000 two front advance coming in on you, but you still got time to defend yourself. Just consider it a long "pause" in the game. now where were we...

IC:

"Generalissimo Yuri, Generalissimo Canarias would like to speak with you, shall i patch him though."

"OF course, comrade. Yes Generalissimo Canarias, what can I do for you?"

Yuri said while taking another sip of Vodka, to think just last week he was hiding in a house in Sasha, Greal waiting to be rescued, and now he is running the entire Mejico City theatre.

"You can start by not drinking on the job Yuri."

"well commander I obey confederate laws, its not my fault you don't understand them, or willing to keep them up in this war."

(OOC: the confederate high command overthrew the confederacy earlier in the war, lead by president Villa.)

"Yuri, dont try me right now. The Indonesian forces are back in the fight, the lines have been staggnet for about a week now. Then they began a massive re-organization. I need you to hurry up and capture this city and cut of the Independents from any supplies so that they cant reinforce the southern theatre. I have already ordered the evacuation of the 6 to 8 divisions stick in Guatemala. The navy is even helping this time. Now get something down there to ease thier pain. Comrade"

The screen went blank.

"Well that was a loving meeting." and he went back to sipping his vodka....

In the central American Theater the cut off divisions were now working their way to the coast. Intelligence reported that the Indonesians were reinforcing and the Independents were not going to let up, the navy was willing to work to save lives and was going to pull them back to Mokan Island. However loading up over 60,000 men was no easy task. It was going to take time. Something they desperately needed.

What good that formation would do in city firefights, only time would tell. Both the eastern and northern sections of the city were under total Confederate hands. The ruins were great to hide behind, as for driving through, well it was hard to tell the difference between where building once stood and roadways once existed anymore.

The flamethrowers then covered the entrances in flames, creating a circle of fire that no man, no matter how stupid would cross. behind it numerous independent troops fired round after round into the enemy crowd. If this wasnt a supply depot they would of retreated by now, but they had all the bullets they needed to hold off these fuckers for a long while....

The private beside him caressed the trigger on his flamethrower, pointing it down the tunnel in case anyone came running back. In the distance, they could hear the echoes of gunfire, screams and explosions as the Rogue Protoss forces rampaged behind them.

"The RPPL troops managed to get down a few RPG's launchers and started launching them into the grenade stores"

The RPGs were flying in when someone saw one slam into a pallet full of grenades, needless to say that the explosion was devastating. The independents did not expect these blood lusting loons to use more then their bear hands but not like they had a second thought to fix it. The explosion took out more stacks of munitions, until it reached the high explosives. In a matter of three seconds from that rocket being launched the entire supply depot was turned into a large bomb. Down all four tunnels the blast wave shot down wiping out everything in its path. The ceiling was then blown up, the concrete tried to hold against the crushing force but soon couldnt hold. The sky opened and out into the streets over 40 feet up the deafening roar of the explosion shook the theatre. This new escape for the built pressure allowed it to release out into the sky in a roaring ball of flame. This by no means meant that anything even stood a chance of surviving it.

Behind him a communications officer came up with two messages one from the MBSA, and the other from Generalissimo Canarias. The MBSA message confirmed agents getting into place, the redirecting complete control of the forces to Yuri was easy. The hard part was getting agents into Rogue Protoss lines.

The message from Canarias was a little more harsh. In short it told him to stop provoking the RP commanders or face court martial. They were not going to war with an ally over something petty like making the war look camera friendly.

Now in the middle of Mejico City stood a 50 foot wide crater going down to the lower levels of the sewer and subway systems. Underneath that, was a large blown out cavern that was once the supply depot. Nothing else remained. On the surface Confederate troops made it to the site of the large explosion and repelled men down inside to see what was left.

Rogue Protoss base camp outside of Mejico City

Two Jaguar Elites lay prone on a hill overlooking the small encampment. Satellite feed from MBSA gave information on this one being the easiest to infiltrate. It was a typical sniper team, one with a .50 caliber rifle, and the other with a scope observing the encampment. They were counting enemy figures, watching who walked out of what building with what. trying to determine where the drugs were kept.

From a distance a three Confederate APCs and one IFV was rolling towards the encampment. Two of them looked like they had seen the worse of the battle, while the IFV and APC had only minor external damage.

Trojan horse was in effect.

"You bastard!" The lieutenant smashed the man in the face with his fist, before grabbing a radio unit.

"This is Alpha Palmer 3, requesting emergancy evacuation! There is a nuclear bomb approximately 1 mile from our position, that is going off in 5 minutes. Evacuate all troops and civilians immediately and send a warning to the entire allied network. Now!"

"I should kill you for this, but you're coming with us for now."

The lieutenant picked the man off the floor and prodded him in the back with the bbarrel of his gun.

"You are going first. If you try anything funny, or we get attack, you're our shield, understand?"

_______________________________________________________

On the surface, chaos ensued. With an approximate area where the nuclear bomb had been planted marked on the battlefield map, vehicles were roaring aaway out of the city as fast as they could, IFVs bouncing along at dangerous speeds with tanks roaring behind them, to try and get the entire lot at least 5 miles away in the time they had. The IFVs would probably make it, bu the tanks needed more time.
Stranded crews were picked up by helicopter and speedily evacuated along with civilians, while the airship roared as it flew away from the area.

The men had all sealed their vehicles and switched on the NBC systems so that they would be safe from fallout, and those that could were sealed in NBC warfare suits so to try and protect themselves from radiation.

________________________________________________

In the tunnels, the remaining troops had no promise of escape, so had decided to die finding the nuclear weapon. They were looking for blocked off tunnels in the sewerage network, as well as uninvestigated fresh tunnels. While many areas had been cleared by the groups and many markers layed to indicate their progress, they had a big problem in trying to investigate the tunnels the Rogue Protoss troops had flooded hysterically.

However, a section of 6 men finally came across a blocked in piece of tunnel, unexplored. While radioing for nearby backup, their engineer slipped into the rubble explosive charges, positioning them carefully so that he could get the pile to be blown away. A man with a machinegun covered him as he set the detonators and ran back behind cover. Seconds later, a controlled explosion, followed by a hail of bullets: the place was guarded by suicide bombers, so a sudden attack was the best solution.

What good that formation would do in city firefights, only time would tell. Both the eastern and northern sections of the city were under total Confederate hands. The south west was were the last independents took refugee, even with the penal corps running around raping everything they managed to hold up there. while there was no formal defense line, they had booby trapped roads and bridges, set up ambushes and even engaged in company size battles with Confederate forces.

The ruins were great to hide behind, as for driving through, well it was hard to tell the difference between where building once stood and roadways once existed anymore.

As the Marines began arriving in the South East part of the city, yet another formation change was made. Infantrymen jumped from their APCs and HPACVs to fortify the armored line. Divine Tiger class Heavy Battle Tanks ventured ahead of the rest, protecting the weakpoints on the massive HPACVs, which still carried a good amount of infantry. Lighter vehicles with more infantry followed behind, for a blitzkrieg tactic of attack.

Holding his bleeding nose Sanchez got back up.

"yes I am aware of that, and i told you, there is nothing down this tunnel. However if you want to survive it then i will have to show you were the detonator is down there to prevent us from getting cooked as well."

He began a nice jog down the tunnel, slow enough to where they could keep up and not think he was running away but fast enough to live.

_______________________________________________________

The six guards were standing around the nuke for about 4 hours now. Each one wearing Kevlar body armor and Carrying an AM-07 with a 150 round drum clip. Thier heads were protected by the riot helmets that used the bullet proof glass that most Mokan riot shields are made from. Capable of stopping .45 cal bullets and 9mms. They were good against small arms, but when the explosion ripped open a new hole they turned and hid behind a few barriers they had formed around the bomb. However using their first precious seconds to get cover they gave the enemy first shot.

However a concussion grenade was tossed out to try and deal with them

OOC: This was in the works before the Nuclear bomb was set up. So I arrived shortly before the warning.

IC:

Rithian Military Command

Commander Yeshiro: Oh what the fuck! Ignore the Sirek's orders. SEND THE ENTIRE STANDING ARMY TO MEJICO CITY NOW!

General Kasha: YES SIR!

Mejico City
The sounds of helicopters ring over the battlefield, thousands of soldiers unload.

Captain Prasho: Hello, Captain Nevauke, can you read me?
Captain Nevauke: Yes!
Captain Prasho: The standing army is here, well half of them at least. The others are coming tomorrow.
Captain Nevauke: Woah! well, our current position is marked on your devices
Captain Prasho: Thank you.

With many soldiers defending the north wall, many pilots also landed, and are loading up in ships waiting for the command to attack.

Captain Prasho: Wait, I think I just got a call saying a nuclear bomb is in the area!
Captain Nevauke: What? Should I evacuate all my troops from our current position?
Captain Prasho: I don't know.....

Unfortunately their was no more Independent command to communicate with them.....

Word was beginning to trickle down the lines that they were leaderless, Generals were pulling out of the city and Division Colonels were either drafting surrenders or asking the higher ups for a pull back location. The man the took the reigns was General Zamper. Commanding the battle of Mejico City for the two hours that Sanchez was suppose to be off line, he was now orchestrating the pull out. Unsure if the nuke was a hoax or Confederate he decided to pull out once he saw the Confederates doing the same.

The vehicles pulled up and an officer got out of the top of the lead IFV. Behind him two APCs opened up and stretchers were being unloaded.

Some might go underground. hmm...perhaps you decide that if you can help us clean up you can get Mokastana back to help out Greal with whatever is going on thier, because lets face it Admiral Frashaw still wants blood for his brothers death. and that mass surrender wasn't what he wanted to happen.

"Detonator?"

The two men followed behind Sachez, one with his gun aimed in at the generalissimo and the other pointed away from the lieutenant with the flamethrower: any direction would kill Sanchez in these tunnels.

__________________________________________

"Grenade!"

The concussion grenade exploded as the men dived away behind cover. Two continued firing, at the men inside the tunnel, one with a machinegun. The others groaned as they lay incapacitated by the loud rining in their ears and the flashing lights in their eyes. But now the enemy was firing back in force, and they had a lot more rounds in each drum-clip than the Alfegosians had in their 30-round magazines. Even the machinegun was only fed by belts of 200 rounds. A device was chucked back into the tunnel by the man without a machinegun: he had just let them have a flashbang in retaliation. As it exploded, he ducked behind the piece of cover again with the machinegunner.

In the distance, 19 men were closing on on the tunnel from the fighting side. They did not want to die so soon, so pushed themselves to the edge of their limits as they charged towards the explosions and gunfire. Most had fitted short, sharp bayonets to the undersides of their guns, hampering the grenadelaunchers on their undersides. But that did not matter when they got up close and suicidal. A bit like the penal soldiers being massacred further away.

IC:

"yes this hallway is lined with explosives to blow it up before the bomb goes off. Now about 100 yards more."

"The suicide gaurds ducked when they saw the grenade, but the small room was the perfect place for a flash-bang. Four hid while they let ringing subside and tried to regain their composer. The other two decided to toss frag grenades back into the tunnel when a bunch of crazies charged through. They backed off spraying them with bigger 7.62 rounds, more stopping power then the standard NATO rounds everyone seemed to use these days.

two: why the hell are you shooting allies?
three: you do realize that my planes are everywhere?

The commander ducked back into his IFV and opened fire with anti-personnel rounds. He explained on the radio that RP troops were knowledgeably attacking him and requesting support. What troops were loaded up were now retreating back into the city despite the fact that a nuclear device was around here somewhere.

Overhead a flight team of five MIG-29s were sent to invesigate if it was true. As they flew overhead Radar confirmed the APCs pulling back and getting shot at by Penal legion troops, so they did what they had too, unload their napalm into the enemy camp and request more firepower.

The snipe team watched the carnage and rather then shooting decided to act as a spotter for artillery. Which was about to be called in.

19 people ran straight into the tunnel, not caring any more about what happened to them: 5 of them were showing the signs of the deadly Fegosian Rage gene. When they knew they were going to die, an ancient faulty gene associated only with those of Fegosian ancestry dumped into their bloodstream lethal doses of hormones such as adrenalin, and hotwired their brains to override its built-in muscular constraints.

None were uninjured when the enemy opened fire with heavy 7.62 rounds, with many collapsing as their chests were bruised by rounds impacting on their body armour. The 5 men who had gone beserk were furiously charging the enemy with knives and bayonets, only stopping when they were shot in the head.

Behind them, two of the men had recovered from the last stun grenade, only to find frag grenades rolling into their position. Most kept in cover, though one man was shredded as he attempted to lob a grenade back.

In the tunnel, the now 5-man squad could only see smoke from a grenade let off accidently, and heard loud gunfire with the occasioanl scream. They did not dare fire in, yet couldn't help cautiosuly approaching behind cover to see what was left of those who had charged in. Or those they had go their hands on.

"What!??!?, who is saying that we are attacking our allies? and why should my troops leave? this is a perfect excuse to get rid of the PL troops, i have informed all the PL troops that all of their drugs had been air lifted into the cities, i was informed by colonel dex that independents attempted to enter the encampement under the guise of wounded confedarate soldiers, but since we all know that PL troops do not have anything for wounded soldiers, he suspected an independent attempt to plant tracers for their artillery"

It quickly became hand to hand combat, and the Kevlar body armor that they wore greatly inhibited movement, but at least prevented most stab wounds from being to serious. Fist and blades were swinging about with the occasional burst fire from a gun. When a soldier noticed a man he plugged with a bust of gunfire get back up he yelled for the men to shoot for the head. Which they began to when they had a chance. he grabbed a Fergosian soldier who was about to stab him and shot him in the armpit with approx. 6-8 rounds at point blank, then stuck it under the arm to fire at another who was ramming his bayonet into another suicide soldier. He dropped the gun as one rage infected soldier rammed the bayonet into his side and used his last bit of energy to swing a fist into the mans face and pull back off the blade.
