In a system far from the Galactic Core, there is a planet populated with machines. They can think for themselves, create life, and wage war....

It has been a thousand years, but the civil wars are over. The citizens of the planet now face a massive rebuilding effort, to restore what was lost, and create a new world, a powerful world.... a world ruled by the Decepticons!

Cyclonus (http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g84/Sparkamus_Prime/Transformers/305px-CyclonusPioneerDVD1.jpg) stood before the imager, with Scourge to his right. "Fellow Decepticons," he began, "Predacon brothers, Autobot servants. Today is the beginning of a new age for Cybertron. For a thousand years, we have fought over control of this planet. Now that the war is over, it is time to rebuild. With the loss of our leader, Megatron (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/7f/Megatron.jpg), I am assuming control of the Decepticons. Also, I have begun a reconstruction program, starting with our capitol, Iacon. The new power station is nearly complete, and communications have been restored with the outer colonies. Now, it is time to revisit those colonies. Our smaller Predacon brothers will serve as crews for our new transwarp cruiser, the Ravage-class (http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h52/nx9100/Ravage-class.jpg). With these new ships, we will rebuild the once great Decepticon Empire!" The imager switched off, and Scourge stepped forward. "A great speach," he said, "but you are not in charge." "I know," Cyclonus replied, "but the Tripredacus Council wishes to remain hidden for the time being. I must act as a figurehead, until Megatron's return." "He is gone! Why can't you accept that?" Scourge asked. "Enough! Contact Rumble. Tell him to begin the mission!"

-------------

Hign above Cybertron, within the spacedock, sat the newly complete cruiser I.C.S. Ravage. On the bridge, Rumble sat in the command chair. "Understood, Scourge. We will depart at once." "Report on any contacts. We haven't patrolled our space in centuries. Who knows what species have invaded our territory." "I will discover them! Rumble out!" He stood up from his chair, "Bring engines online! Take us to the edge of the system!" The Ravage moved out of the dock, and flew toward the last planet in the system...

"Commander Falsus." The Borg who spoke the words, entering the commander's office, was rather flat and unemotional. Nonetheless, Falsus recognized him as a part of an old and very dear friend.

"Vox populi! Voice of the Many! Well met, brother!"

"Well met, Commander." The borg strode woodenly into the office. Vox Populi was a compound individual, made up of many Borg who chose to remain permanently in collective. That there was now room in Borg society, he noted, for rugged individualists like Falsus and for conglomerates like himself, and that they coud even be fast friends, spoke a great deal about how far the Borg had come as a society in the last century or so.

Falsus was a former human, and small of stature for a human male. Yet, he all but sweated boundless energy and confidence, and this made him one a lot of friends--like Vox Populi.

In contrast, the Borg who spoke for The Voice of the Many was fairly nondescript--average height, pale skin and a face that was mottled to the point where it was not easy to tell that he had at one time been a Spirokean.

"So...to what do I owe the distinct pleasure of this visit."

"We are...concerned for you, Commander."

"Concerned? How so?"

"We find that you are limiting your time in the collective, sharing your thoughts less and less as time goes on. We feel that this does a disservice to all of us, and especially to yourself."

"Oh, that," the little Borg said. "I've noticed that, too. To be honest, I've been feeling increasingly stressed lately, and have a sense of forboding that I do not want to share with the crew."

"That, in our opinion, is a mistake."

"How so?"

"You are one of the most popular starship commanders in the fleet, Commander Falsus. We support you in any decisions that you make on our behalf. Let us be with you now, and help strengthen your resolve. Do not fall victim to the path of deception. This is not the way of the Borg."

"You're right as always, Voice. I'll be joining you shortly--just as soon as I finish my latest log entry."

Captain's Log, Official Date 31414927:

The War Between the Cybertonians appears to have settled down. Our
forward observation posts report that military activity in the sector has
dwindled to a minimum, and that, in recent years, massive construction
efforts have been brought underway. Since we're the closest, the New Borg
Federation has been called upon to investigate--and that is why the cube
ship Prophet's Hope is proceeding to a point above their sun, out of the
plane of their planets' orbit, to investigate.

Our orders are to determine whether the Decepticons are about to
re-emerge as a threat to other galactic civilizations, and to attempt to
contain any threat that may come forth until reinforcements can arrive, if
these should prove to be necessary. We will, of course, seek battle only if
absolutely necessary, and attempt to liberate any Autobots whom the
Decepticons have enslaved.

I don't have a good feeling about this one, and neither do my brothers and
sisters in the collective. We're all a little on edge right now.

Falsus of Borg out.

Finished with his chore, Falsus sat back and closed his eyes. In a moment, the tension on his face dissolved into placid nothingness, and the other Borg in his office turned and strode back the way it had come.

As the Ravage flew through space, Rumble (http://www.yuanlei.com/transformers/decepticons/gen1/big/rumble_toy.jpg) thought quietly to himself while sitting in his command chair. His thoughts were interrupted by an alarm from the sensor station. "What is it?!" Rumble was annoyed. "We've picked up a strange ion trail," reported Practor, a Predacon. "Could it be the Nemesis?" asked Rumble. "Doesn't match any Cybertronian ship," Practor replied. "Must be an alien vessel." "Pursuit course!" Rumble ordered. "Course laid in," reported the bot at the helm, "We're heading for System Trion 7a." "Max speed! Ready weapons!" Rumble sat back in his chair. "Time for our grand return!"

A Borg Cube Ship operates as a single meta-organism. The minds of those inside it group together to form a super meta-mind. Still, with the New Borg, it is possible to sometimes hear an individual voice or two among the song of the Borg. Ships with Falsus on them seemed to have a lot of those disparate voices. This is not particularly unusual. What is unusual is that the ships run as harmoniously as other, quieter Borg ships--sometimes more so--when these voices are at their loudest. And sometimes, when the voices are at their loudest, they all speak together.

Brothers, a ship approaches!

We didn't expect not to be detected in this part of space, did we?

Can we identify this ship?

It is a new class of cruiser, similar in form to the ships used by the old Galactic Federation. Main saucer section, two nacelles...

How long until it gets here?

At the rate it's going, about twenty minutes.

How is she armed?

Too far away to tell, but she's charging up weapons banks on her forward hull.

It's a Deceptacon warcraft! Raise shields! Arm main weapons!

Deceptacons are dogged strategists, but not particularly original ones. If she's hostile, she'll come in with guns blazing, won't even try to slow us down with a decoy message.

Yes. Raise shields. Arm weapons.

RAISING SHIELDS. ARMING WEAPONS.

Brothers, we should offer them the opportunity to avoid damaging themselves. We can send them a message.

If they are Deceptacons, they will only ignore it.

They may do so at their own peril.

We must sound strong! United! Use the verbage of the Old Collective to strike fear in their hearts.

Deceptacons are not capable of fear.

That's just what they tell you. They understand self-preservation as well as any mechanoid species.

Yes. Send them a message.

SENDING MESSAGE.

Attention Transformer Ship.

We are Borg. Resistance is futile.

You will drop your shields and prepare to be borded. Deceptacons
found aboard will be reprogrammed and returned to you unharmed.

"They want to board US!" yelled Rumble. "HA! Arm weapons! Ready missiles! Contact cybertron! We have a new enemy!" The Ravage charged towards the cube-ship, primed for battle.

"This is the Imperial Cybertronian Ship Ravage! You are in violation of Decepticon territory! Surrender, or be destroyed!"

--------------------

So much for the boring patrol, thought Skywarp (http://100grana.files.wordpress.com/2007/07/csskywarp.jpg). "Are you sure the message came from the Ravage?" "Positive," replied one of his flyers, "They are engaging an unknown ship and call for support." "Right. Lets go save Rumble's useless hide!" Skywarp led his nine other flyers on course to intercept the Ravage. His fighter group was the best, with a perfect record from the Great War. What could possibly stop them?

--------------------

With a clank, the security door to the council chamber closed behind him. Three shadowy figures stood under a dim light. "The Tripredacus Council recongnizes Scrapper, head of construction." Scrapper stepped forward, "I have a report on the latest construction figures. We have completed the next ten Ravage-class ships. They are waiting at the Spaceport. We have begun building the next group, but the new factories aren't up to full capacity yet." "We must bring them up to full," said one of the three Generals. "More ships are needed to rebuild our fleet." "We must increase production," said the third, "A massive fleet is required to reclaim our territory." "Go Scrapper," ordered the first, "Return to the factory. Build our fleet. When the time is right, it will be sent to war..."

Deceptacons! It is as we feared!

We must contact our brothers and arrange for reinforcements! You know how little time it takes for Deceptacons to gear up their war machines!

Agreed. Contact the New Borg Federation. Arrange for reinforcements.

Let us not go this alone! Call any starfaring race that desires its freedom! You know what Deceptacons will do if given their way!

Yes. Send general message.

SENDING GENERAL MESSAGE.

To Anyone who can receive this message:

This is New Borg Federation ship Prophet's Hope. We have
encountered a Deceptacon warship just outside the recognized borders
of Cybertonian space. We fear the worst. Any spacefaring race desiring
to retain its freedom should prepare to make a stand here, before the
Deceptacons can break loose unto the galaxy.

End of Transmission.

This is a request for future aid. It does not help us against our current adversary.

Tactics! Tactics and Strategy!

Should we reply to their message?

Why waste time?

They are arming weapons. Beams! Missiles!

We have them outgunned and outshielded. We can afford to go easy on them at first and hit harder later if we have to. Let us first drain their shields and then hit them harder later if we have to.

FIRING SHIELD DRAIN.

Prophet's Hope rotated slightly, bringing her primary shield drain to bear. In a moment, it fired, impacting Ravage quite accurately despite its extreme range.

"Shields down 83 percent" "They have attacked us!" yelled Rumble, "Fire plasma beams! Missiles! Burn them out of the sky!" The Ravage launched a volley of fussion missiles, then manuvered and fired twin full-power plasma beams at the cube-ship. "Decepticons FOREEVER!"

--------------------

With a flash, ten fighters appeared 10,000 kL behind the Ravage. "Teleport complete," reported Skywarp (http://www.jesterpictures.com/transformers/photoshops/skywarp01.jpg). He didn't mention the drain to his personal energy reserves. Teleporting himself was one thing, but his whole squadron half a sector, that was something else. "Spread out, assume attack vector," he ordered. "Prepare to fire on the intruder..."

Fighters! They are reinforcing!

They're pathetic! Our point defense will tear them to shreds the moment they get in range!

We are taking fire!

Shielding status?

Negligable. First volley brought sheilds to 92%. Subspace shielding unaffected.

Good. Another volley should take the main ship's sheilds down. Then, we can bord them and let them know how the New Borg handle a scrum!

Absorbtion? Assymilation?

Temporary. Use the modified nanoprobes.

Transformers have special defenses against microscopic attack.

No matter. The Borg Nanoprobes have been evolved to overcome such resistence.

Fire shield drain once again.

FIRING SHIELD DRAIN.

Prepare point defenses for incoming fighters.

PREPARING POINT DEFENSES.

Prepare contingency plan in case of more reinforcements.

''Shields are gone!,'' Reported Practor, ''We are defenseless!'' ''Return fire!'' ordered Rumble, ''Target the source of their 'energy draining' weapon.
if we can disable it, our shields will regenerate.'' Using its speed and smaller size as an advantage, the Ravage manuvered around the massive cube-ship and fired again, trying to hit the shild draining weapon...

--------------------

''Seperate by pairs and begin attack runs,'' Skywarp ordered, ''Let's try to draw their fire away from the Ravage.'' The fighters split up into 5 pairs and began to straiff the cube-ship with their laser cannons. Skywarp and his wingmate flew past the Ravage.
"Skywarp to Rumble. While we distract them, try to take out their engines so we can distroy them easily.''
The Andermani
01-12-2007, 02:14
Short weeks ago, the Andermani Empire had been mostly planet bound, now the largest ship in the fledgling Navy reached out to the stars, and the Andermani Cruiser Retribution had stumbled onto a full fledged battle between two unknown vessels. Nearly 7 and a half kilometers long, the Andermani Cruiser out massed both combatants significantly, but it was imprudent to leap directly into combat with a pair of completely unknown vessels, better to just sit back and soak up every bit of data on the other vessels, and await the ending of the confrontation. Sleek and silent, the Andermani Cruiser watched and waited as the smaller vessels attempted to destroy each other with strange weapons, noting the laughably ineffecteve weapons of the Borg. <It does not destroy the other vessel. Merely their shields. So...inefficient...>

<Indeed Captain, and yet there must be a reason. Use as many active sensors as you believe you can without alerting them to our presence, perhaps deploy a recon drone or two and get as close as possible, learn all you can.>

Something shifted in the darkness of the massive Cruisers flag deck, and while the Borg could not understand their peril, and nor could the Decepticons, there was a greater threat here than they might have understood. For they not only faced a powerful vessel of an unknown navy, they faced Joram, and nothing had yet been able to defeat him, or his Marines.

"Report Perceptor," ordered Cyclonus. Perceptor (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c4/PerceptorProfile.jpg) disengaged himself from the optical scaner and transformed, "I have been monitoring the Ravage. They are attacking an unknown ship that has entered one of our colony systems."
"What kind of ship?"
"A giant cube. I do not recongize its origins, now its power source. One thing is clear: it isn't from Cybertron."
"Could this be something similar to Unicron?"
"I don't believe so. Legend holds that Unicron was a monster planet, and has a similar energy signature to other Cybertronian life. I believe this is just an alien ship of unknown origin."
"Can the Ravage destroy it?"
"Negative. It lacks the power and weapons to cause massive damage to a ship of that size."
Cyclonus began to pace. After a moment, "Very well. Soundwave!"
"Yes, Cyclonus?"
"Get a message to Rumble: He is to withdraw and regroup with an attack force that will be sent from Cybertron. How soon untill we can launch the other ships?"
"At least two mega-cycles. The transwarp systems are proving troublesome."
"Have them launch when ready." The two Decepticons leave the room, leaving Perceptor to himself. He transformes and reattaches to the optical scanner. "Wait," he mutters softly, " Is that another ship..."

Before there had been the Borg, there had been two interstellar empires: the technologically advanced Etreans and the deeply religious Cyberos. Ten days before a fateful war began, it is said, the Cyberon Prophets delivered a warning: stop now or face millenia of unending wars, the Wars of Retribution. It was from this legend that Prophet's Hope drew her name. The name of her sister ship, Emperor's Choice, bespeaks of the next chapter in the story.

The legend says that none of these wars shall ever end. In each case, it says, the two forces in combat will have to ally themselves to defeat a new foe that enters the conflict--only to find another for coming on that they must ally themselves with their former adversaries to combat.

There is a new ship coming into the fray!

Whom is it fighting with?

It appears to be waiting out the conflict.

That thing is HUGE!

Yes, but she has a low power output and unsophisticated propulsion. She tries to do with brute force what we accomplish with elegance. Battle odds: about even.

We can't afford to wait for it to join the Deceptacons. Disable engines and main power on the first Deceptacon ship! Fire phased energy cannon!

FIRING PHASED ENERGY CANNON.

There are still fighter craft coming in.

Activate point defense.

ACTIVATING POINT DEFENSE.

Why are we only disabling that Deceptacon ship? Why aren't we destroying her now?

Because those weren't our orders. We're to reprogram the Deceptacons and liberate the Autobots. We are not the Borg of old--we are a civilized nation, and we will act accordingly.

Let us hope that we have the luxury of living long enough to show our civilization.

The odds are still on our side.

Even as Prophet's Hope targeted Ravage's vital systems, her point defense came online and turned the space around her into a very inhospitible place.

OOC: I've avoided making any non-readily observed statements about you. Please return the courtesy, especially since you know nothing about my ship barring its size and the fact that it seems to have appeared rather suddenly with no obvious evidence, unless you regularly scan for things like boson generation and activation, and deactivation. I'm actually going for low power output at the moment, since I'm trying to be a 7.5 km hole in space, but I'd like to put right up front that such will not remain constant.

IC:

<They're still trying to disable it. They greatly desire its capture. Their weapns seem...strange still. An energy weapon we have not yet observed, unlike the grasers and xasers or particle beams with which we are familiar. It seems designed to only damage electrical systems. I think. We cannot get a good enough reading without going to fully active sensors and alerting everyone to our presence.>

<Do not. We can assume that we are as yet undetected, unless they fire on us, or scan us, remain at low power. We do not want to provoke them.>

OOC: Some secondary questins I'd like to address that often come up when encountering the borg. Primarily the adaptive shields. I've seen a few that go too far, and I was wondering how far you'd take their ability to adapt to new and unique weapons.

OOC: Andermani, does your ship actually remove itself from space and to another dimension, or are you just cloaked? If cloaked, you can easily be picked up by a gravitational scan (of which, among many, my civ uses a lot of), since your mass technically still makes an imprint on local space and the plane of gravity, as any mass does.

IC:

The flares of the Pendarri Nova flashed brilliant oranges and reds, a fiery backdrop for the ice of deep space. ADV Specter of Twilight cut through the veins of space, the heavy battleship's forked prow driving through the dark as a beacon of fear. Several smaller ships poked through the space behind the Legacy-class warship, driving the battlegroup on armed patrol at the fringe of Dominion space over the torrents of space. Violet lights sparked from the interior of the vessel, reminders of the life and technology that flourished aboard the metal corridors of the vessel. The eight massive engines of the vessel spewed blue trails of ionized waste back into space, the exhaust of the fleet carving a bright path into the dark plain.

The dirty blond hair of Athon Onasi shrouded the 24 year-old's forehead, mounting a facade above two dark eyes. His mouth curled down into an expression of disdain, a common one for the young Sith. No weapon adorned his body except for a small silver cylinder hanging down from his waist-but Onasi was a powerful fighter himself. The vessel whose bridge he stood aboard was just as formidable as its current commander; more than a dozen personnel worked on the extensive bridge controlling numerous systems to keep the nearly-2km vessel running smoothly. Built-in panels continually brought in feed from other parts of the Dominion or issues pertinent to the vessel, while the computer AI itself took care of most of the smaller issues that did not require human-or alien-attention. Droids worked as well aboard the vessel, criss-crossing corridors and hatchways to fix problems not suited to the sentient beings.

"My Lord," a voice came up from the lower section of the bridge. Technically, Onasi was nobody's "Lord," being a mere Sith Knight (albeit, one of the best), yet when he was the most powerful-one of the only, indeed-Sith aboard a vessel, others tended to be wary of improper respect.

"What is it," Onasi spat, his face still staring out the frontal viewscreen.

"We have a transmission-"

"Who?"

"The Borg."

Onasi hissed with displeasure. The Borg were not any friendly to a primarily-organic species, even if they did use a good amount of droids. "What do they want?"

The officer half-sniggered at the message. "It would seem to be a form of distress call, my Lord."

"Let me see."

Onasi walked over to the communications console, moving in front of the comms officer. He glazed over it slightly, not particularly interested.

"I don't know what a 'Decepticon' is, or 'Cybertronian'," Onasi mused, "but the fact is that I'm fairly bored doing nothing. Send a message back and redirect course to the system...but stay out of direct contact at the moment."

The comms officer quickly formed up a basic message-something he ended up doing a lot-to send back to the Borg as nav began redirecting course for the hyperjump to the system. It wasn't as far away as Dominion vessels were frequently accustomed to.

"Command just sent us word, a Extra-Terrestrial message. Ranging puts them closing on the base. We are to take the third Unmaned Fleet and investigate." Captain Hyryu Ramius looked over his bridge, "Prepare to launch, if it an emergance, we will help." A officer said, "What about the rearming? We still need to change units!" The Captain replied, "Well, thell meet us on route."

OOC:

My apologies. I thought that you would pick up on the fact that my characters are not perfect. They can be arogant and they can delude themselves, just like people IRL. This particular group is also inexperienced in actual warfare. The "not readily observable" observations represent that arogance and ignorance. They're not observing, they're making incorrect assumptions. I, personally, believe that, if it was real, your ship would be much more formidible than they are giving it credit for. They have already mistaken its low power output for lack of capacity. (This was intentional. It makes them more likely to concentrate on the Ravage and shows that they've probably underestimated the Decepticons as well (and boy, have they ever). Impie and I have arranged for a sequence of events where this will cost them.)

Now, to air my personal concerns. Endless battle and unreasonable territorial disputes bore me. I much prefer character interaction and original plot twists to launching another million missiles. That's why I make my characters fallible. It adds realism. If this turns into another dumb shooting match, I'm outta here.

If things get too hot after Prophet's Hope gets the crap kicked out of her, I reserve the right to bring in Emperor's Choice.

The Deceptacons' shields are down. Prepare to board.

We will have to drop our shields to board their ship.

This is for their betterment, too! Reprogramming the Deceptacons to make them less hostile will improve the quality of thier lives!

Yes. We must board them.

DROPPING SHIELDS.

We should send a message to the other ship.

We should try to determine their intentions.

Yes. We need to contact them. Falsus...as commander, this is your responsibility.

Yes, yes.

SENDING MESSAGE.

Attention Unknown Ship.

This is Falsus of Borg commanding the New Borg Federation ship
Prophet's Hope. We are here on a peacekeeping mission,
attempting to prevent the Deceptacon Empire from touching off
another intragalactic war.

Please identify yourselves and state your intentions.

A message is coming in...it is from an Amazonian vessel.

Amazonian? We haven't heard anything from them in ages! Weren't they a police state or something?

Data banks show a monarchy. The last entry is more than twenty years old, however. It could be out of date.

I certainly wouldn't want them to judge us by what our forbears were like!

In fact, that appears to be precisely what they are doing. They want to know our intentions.

Then perhaps we can start fresh. Respond to their message. Falsus, that would man you.

I know. I know.

To Spectre of Twilight:

This is Falsus of Borg, commander of the New Borg Federation ship Prophet's
Hope.

We are representatives of the New Borg Federation. We no longer absorb the
unwilling. Repeat: we no longer absorb the unwilling.

Deceptacons are a mechanoid race--the military hardware of a long-departed
organic species. Now, they build their war machine and use it to threaten any
other governmental agency in their galactic neighborhood.

We are here to reprogram them and neutralize the threat.

What are your intentions?

"They don't strike me as anything different yet. The message still seems too logical-though further inspection will do."

Onasi mused upon the bridge as the return comm came in, the fleet still holding before a hyperjump towards the system. Onasi was no coward-he relished in fights-but he was smart enough not to be a foolish risk-taker as some Sith could be. However, curiosity was a major factor with Onasi-and now, with Droma dead from age and the Sith abilities within him, Onasi was more free to explore his own feelings and strengths without the Emperor trying to centralized the Sith of the Shroud into a strong ruling class. The five Apprentices could fight it out to see who would be Heir-Onasi would prove his own mettle in the field.

That included exploring these "new Borg."

"We'll go, along with Unleashed Fire and Eye of Deceit," Onasi said, specifying two corvettes with the group. "Leave the rest of the fleet behind to hold position in case they are needed in the original task or we need them at a later time. Set coordinates while I compose a message."

Onasi walked off, a bit in transition as navigation set a course out of Dominion space towards the source of the two communications. Whoever the "New Borg" and "Decepticons" really were, Onasi was determined to find out...if for nothing more than simple interest. Specter was powerful enough to hold its own in many a situation.

We recieved your message, Borg Vessel, and decided to react-we are simply on outer patrol of our borders. However, you have piqued our interest on some great machine-automated force to destroy opponents, so we shall investigate. However, the Dominion does not like...tricks.
We'll keep an eye out before us and behind our backs.

The message shot off along a hyperconduit just before the ship itself powered up its Class 1 hyperdrive with the two considerably smaller, yet strong, corvettes beside it, shooting off past the dimensional rift into the swirling blue transport mist of hyperspace.

"Report!"
"Hull damage to all sections! Main power is failing!"
"Switch to backup power!"
"Backups not responding! Computer failure! I can't get power onling!"
Rumble got up from his chair and shoved the bot away from the ops station, "Move!" He fumbled with the controls, "The computer's failing! What's going on?"
"Problem with the main computer core," reported Practor, "It apears the Constructicons took a few shortcuts when building this ship."
"Get me power!" ordered Rumble. "Fire all weapons!"
"Plasma beams powerless! Missile launcher damaged! Repairs underway!"
Rumble pounded the control panel. "Get me something, or I'll pound your metal hide!"

Skywarp was fairing no better than the Ravage. Three of his fighters had been destroyed by the cube-ship's weapons. "Skywarp to squadron: Were withdrawing. THe Ravage is nearly destroyed, and we've lost three fighters. Set course for Cybertron." He and his six remaining fighters disengaged and flew off into the darkness...

OOC: This was the time when Ravage was supposed to get some weapons working and knock the nanoprobes out of Prophet's Hope while she stupidly kept her shields down. The New Borg were supposed to take such severe damage that they forget about reprogramming the Deceptacons.

@Estie:

Sorry. Your post contradicts mine, and I made mine first. Prophet's Hope came in straight at Cybertron's star, perpendicular to the plane of the planets' orbits. They don't want any tricks. Fine. We won't give them any.

Let us keep a healthy paranoia.

One man's paranoia is another man's caution.

Then let us be cautious.

Good. Why are our shields still down, then?

Because we are scanning the enemy vessel for Deceptacons so that we can beam them out and reprogram them.

Well, we'd better not waste a single moment of time. The longer we wait, the more vulnerable we'll be.

We have to do it this way. Not only for the respect of others, but for the respect of ourselves.

Yes, agreed, but that doesn't mean we have to be completely stupid about it!

What about that Amazon ship?

Let them watch. As long as they don't try any tricks themselves, they will soffer no harm.

Should we respond to their message?

Why? At best, exchanging words with them would do nothing. At worst, we could touch off yet another unnecessary conflict.

Concur. No response to Amazons.

How many Deceptacons are there on that ship?

It's hard to tell. There are about 150 mechanoid life signs. The ship's electrical problems are masking some of them and making it real hard to tell what's ship and what's crew. Scanners indicate three custom jobs--one of 'em has somekind of siezmic weapon. Could be very dangerous if he got loose. He seems to be the one in charge.

No wonder. Deceptacons are a challenge heirarchy. You can keep what you can beat up. No doubt he can beat up a lot of them.

Yes, but it's looking more and more as if we'll have to board that ship to ferret out the ones we've got to neutralize.

Let's start with the ones we can identify and go after any leftovers only if it proves necessary. Why risk our organics? Drone bodies are hard to replace.

Sounds like a plan. Prepare to transport Deceptacons into containment buffers for reprogramming.

On the outskirts of the system barely within the influence of the sun rays a ship slipped into existance, there was no active measures taken to conceal their existance but neither were they taking any measures to make them publicly known.

They just sat using whatever sensors they had to observe what was going on, making no indication of their purpose, the side they might take up, or even if they were intending to join the battle at all. They'd be keeping aware of things around them.

"No power available!" reported Practor, "The energon core is damaged. We had to take it offline for repairs."
"Reload missiles and fire!" A second volly of missiles shot out of the ship...

Deep in their hidden chamber, the Tripredicus Council monitored the scanner readouts of the battle. "It appears that Rumble is in over his head," said Ram Horn. "We may need to send additional forces to aid him."
"Not yet," replied Seaclamp, "Let us wait and see. There are other ships in the area. I want to know their intentions before sending more forces into a pointless battle."
"We cannot allow our newest vessel to be destroyed!" Ram Horn countered, "If we lose the Ravage, we will appear weak in the eyes of all Decepticons and Predacons!"
"Silence!" They turned to the head of the table. "Calm yourselves," ordered Cicadacon, "Let Rumble face his foe in battle. Whatever happens, we will continue our plan here on Cybertron. Contact Tarantulas. I want the status of Project Nemesis."
"What of the battle?" asked Seaclamp.

WHAT?!?! THEY'VE FIRED MISSILES!!!

HURRY!! GET SHIELDS BACK UP!!!!

NO TIME!!! THEY'RE AT POINT BLANK RANGE!!!!

By the Prophets! BRACE FOR IMPACT AND GET READY FOR DAMAGE CONTR--

ARRRRRRGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RET(hiss) FI(hiss)!!! DAMA(hiss hiss)RT!!

OH NO!! OUR COLLE(hisss) IS GOI(hisss) DOW(hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssss)!

Falsus came fully awake with a snap--a cold snap. The wall behind him had been blown out and the atmospheric bubble going past him was tearing him out into the depths of space.

He swore in Klingon! "Quv'atlh!" Then, he gritted his teeth, stuck out his circular left hand and activated the maglevs in his legs.

Like most Borg, Falsus could survive in a vacuum if he had to. That wasn't the problem at the moment. He had to get the ship back online--he had to rally the crew! Thus, he began using the winch and tow package that he had installed back when he was in the Engineering Corps. It wasn't designed to work within a gravity well, but the artificial gravity had failed in his office anyway. In a moment, he was across the wall and at a data port. He jacked in.

Instantly, a structural integrity field came up. Two Borg who had been hanging onto railings flopped back into the ship. Then, the local system tenable, Falsus got on the backup intercom.

Attention all hands, this is the commander. The subcollective is
down. Do not panic. Get to your stations and continue your
efforts. Switch to analog communication. We will adapt! All
will be restored! Falsus out.

Next, he tried the bridge. No response. Finally, he got ahold of Omigott, his chief engineer. The burly former Andorian stared at him, fear evident in his eyes as they stared at him from the data screen on the intercom.

Omigott and Falsus were a study in contrasts. While Falsus was a maverick, a man of tremendous natural agression, Omigott was meek and mild. Each had been something of an outcast before his enjoinment. Between that and the fact that they were so unalike in appearance, one would have thought that they would be the bitterest of enemies. Nothing could be farther than the truth. In fact, they were as close as could be. And they didn't need the collective to function as a meta-organism.

"Damage report, old friend!" the pint-sized commander bellowed.

"We took a haymaker, commander. Forty-six per cent of main systems deesabled. Main computer knocked out. Eenterlog deesabled. Primary propulsion off line."

"Yes, yes! Did we get shields back up?!?"

"Coming up now!"

"How about external sensors?"

"They're also coming online--oh dear. They've fired another salvo."

Attention all hands. This is the commander. Brace for another impact.

This time, the exposure was limited. The shields took the brunt of the enemy fire. Still, the pole that Falsus was holding onto heaved and rocked under the force of the impact.

"New damage," Falsus said.

"Shields took the force. They're down to 20% now. We can't take another hit like that. Sensors back down."

"Can we return fire?"

"The phased energy cannon is online, but, with sensors down, we can't lock on target."

Falsus seemed annoyed. "Use a manual lock then, by the prophets! We must protect ourselves!"

Omigott turned and pointed to a nearby console. A tall, thin drone behind him instantly moved over to it and began adjusting the controls. They obviously had point-of-sight communications and were sharing thoughts. Good, thought Falsus, we've still got a little bit of the old umph left!

Though wounded, Prophet's Hope was far from dead. A beam of energy--not nearly as strong as earlier, but still formidible, lanced out of her and toward Ravage.

"Status of ordinance?" Falsus said.

"Not a clue, youngster," Omigott replied. "We'll need main sensors for that."

"Can we get out of here using the back-up drive? We need to withdraw before they can reinforce! They can't chase us, and we can repair much more rapidly than they."

"Working on it now. We have maneuvering thrusters and are getting secondary propulsion online...now."

"Good! Get out of range--and watch for those other ships, especially that big, quiet one. No telling what they'll be up to. Our technology would make us a tempting target for an upstart empire."

"I know. Work teams are already forming."

"Good. Get some drones to the bridge. I can't contact them."

"Roger that."

Bridge...main computer...sensors...primary drive. All in one hit! By the prophets, they packed a wallop! But the crew had rallied! As the reports began to stream in, Falsus noted with great pride that, in the face of adversity, his crew had stayed at their posts. He only hoped that it would be enough to get them out of this scrum alive.

"Good! Get main power back online!" ordered Rumble. "Prepare missiles! I want that ship!"
"With respect, we should return to Cybertron," said Practor. "The transwarp drive is offline, along with the plasma weapons and many other systems. We should return for repairs."
"Very well. They're leaving anyway." Rumble sat in the command chair. "Back to Cybertron!" The damaged Ravage (http://www.trekmania.net/the_fleet/utopia/fleet/nova5.jpg) began to slowly make its way home...

A brief rise in energy of the unknown ship was seen, perhaps some kind of communication or the brief activation of someother similiar sub-system within the ship. Anyone observing it would find a generic looking ship, something that would look like a pill, or perhaps a liquorice bullet. The dull grey metal of the hull shimmered as the energy of the shield pulsed over the top. There would be no markings on the outside of the ship showing it's allegiance, not a name nor anything else, it was almost like it didn't officially exist in any capacity.

The ship failed to respond to any actions taken by that of which it was presumably monitoring and what it had seen, there it was just floating in space.

Cyclonus turned to the viewing screen. "I take it the enemy ship has been destroyed?" he asked.
"Negative," Soundwave replied, "They appear to be damaged and are withdrawing."
Shockwave stepped forward. "Should we send additional forces to finish them off?"
"No," replied Cyclonus. "Let them go. Perceptor!"
"Yes, Cyclonus?"
"Are you still tracking other unknown ships in our space?"
"Affirmitive. Some of the readings are a bit odd. I cannot take an acurate count of the number of ships in our sector."
"Fine. Soundwave, prepare an intersystem channel."
"Channel is open."

"This is Cyclonus, Leader of Imperial Cybertron. To all unknown ships in our space: Identify yourselves, or leave our territory. If you refuse, you will be destroyed!"

"Launch the remaining Ravage-class ships," Cyclonus ordered.
"But sir, the transwarp systems are still being callibrated! We need more time!" Shockwave protested.
"Launch them anyway!" ordered Cyclonus. "Keep the transwarp drives offline and run on fusion-drive power. We need ships, and we need them NOW!"
"Yes sir!" Alarms went off around the main spaceport. Decepticons and Predacons went scrambling towards their ships. Tanker vehicals pulled away from the landing pads, then transformed to watch the ships launch. In the control tower, Reflector watched the ships prepare for liftoff. "Pad 1: Clear to launch! Pad 5: Clear to launch!" The ships started to rise into the sky, one after another. They moved into orbit around the planet...

Specter shot out of hyperspace, the two corvettes falling in step behind the vessel as its engine hubs powered the craft into a slow subspace advance.

"What's on scanners..." Onasi inquired, half paying attention.

"Um...the Borg ship, damaged but limping. Activating Active Sensors."

"My Lord, one gravitational well in-system, suggesting cloaked vessel. That's all we know for now until a more detailed anti-cloak sweep is launched. Course of action?"

"Keep an eye on them, but let them stand for now," Onasi said. He cared little for an observer. "Activate full shield banks and put weapons on ready."

Gold lights dotted the bridge as the vessel went to yellow alert, cautionary preparations coming online.

"Put a full sweep on the Borg vessel," Onasi instructed.

"Probe away, my Lord."

A small cobalt probe shot out of a torpedo tube, quickly moving into full sublight speed in a course to make a sensor pass by the Borg ship.

Hate haven: main castle,

“Lord Vira, News to report.”

“What is it?” she said she said with excitement in her voice. She could feel the messenger’s excitement. It was good news no doubt. If it were bad, he would be cowering in fear of his life.

“We’ve detected a signal; a very interesting signal. One involving deceptions!”

Vira let a slow smile creep across her face. It was a smile that would make an infant consider suicide. This was interesting news indeed! “who would have thought that this dimension contained a Cybertron!!” she laughed evily.

“Unfortunately, based on the conversations we began to detect their Megatron is believed to be dead” seeing Vira tense up, he then said quickly “b-b-but the deceptions are in control of Cybertron. They have apparently won the war in this dimension. H-h-here is a copy of the conversation and signal logs of the ships.” He said bringing up a floating screen of energy

“It just keeps getting better and better” vira laughed “Sith Knight? Who would have thought that there would be sith in this dimension! This will be easier than I thought! You over there” she said pointing at a guard “You know who to bring before me” the messenger hesitated in confusion “Go NOW!” she screamed prompting the messenger to get going before he ended up headless.

“about these signals,” the messenger said, “these ‘Borg’ seem to be able to become one in mind. they also seem to be tring to turn over a new leaf."he said. well, thats something were going to have to stop won't we vira said chuckling. "but their not the most interesting ones.” the messanger said, pointing at a section of the screen and charts in which wave patterns appeared. “These signals came from a dimensional tunnel in the immediate vicinity”

Vira looked at the screen. Now THIS was a pleasant surprise! they were making this too easy! the fools probably thought that they were completely hidden. based on the conversations between the beings, it was apparent that they thought they were in another whole dimension rather than an in between space, the amateurs! They would take a mere four hours to find. their were only about 300,000 dimensions that were close enough to this one for them to be able to detect what was happening in this one. this number was further reduced by the number of dimensions the energy signature of their vocal patterns could have come from

“Bodiless souls!” said a little voice that the messenger had not noticed. Out from behind the chair stepped a little six-year-old girl with bright, blond hair. In her hands was a toddlers severed head, which she was gleefully tossing up in the air. “Can I have one mommy? All my toys are getting old” she then tossed the head, nearly missing the messenger. Behind him he heard an explosion as the force of the head destroyed the wall behind him. The messenger stood petrified at the thought of being hit by anything this child threw. “I want one really bad! The girl said “they become pretty when they turn bad, and you can actually see their pain!” she said giggling excitedly.

“Of course you can have some. I would not dream of depriving my little apprentice of her playthings. send mages and probes to all coordinates that these patterns could have come from,” she ordered. Just as the messenger left to spread the order, the other messenger returned followed by those she had sent for. “So good of you to make it”, she said

“we live to serve master”, said Load Sidious as he knelt before her

“What is your desire master Vira” said Megatron…

<They are bold, yet incredibly foolish. Captain, reveal our presence. Come to full power, shields up, weapons online, begin active scanning of all local vessels to determine allegiance and possible threats. Then, prepare to send my reply.>

<Yes Lord. Engines coming up now, weapons online in another 15 seconds, shields in ten. You realize that we are quite probably the largest vessel here, and that this may be seen as a hostile act by some?>

<I know this, but we have been threatened, and that I will not tolerate.>

<Yes Lord.> The vaguely Sylvan captain finished addressing the mysterious form in the darkness of the Flag Bridge, and addressed his crew. <Brace for battle stations, we are bringing all systems online, and going to full active. We're about to light up this system like a third sun.>

It is imprudent to make threats which one may not back up. Your power here is not certain "Cyclonus." I am larger than any of your vessels, if you so desire, bring them against me. Know only that I will not be defeated.

The darkness in the image shifts, and a slight light brightens, revealing a monstrous form that the Ascendants would certainly recognize. 20 feet at the shoulders, it should not have been able to enter through the door that was visible, and yet it demonstrably occupied the majority of the chamber, a massive draconic form of dull iron. Its face showed no expression, and yet it seemed almost to be grinning, begging the Decepticons to try.

Moments after the message went out, the massive ship blazed with power, as control runs and relays surged with current, it went from being nearly invisible, to being the most brightly shining object in the system, with power scales that would most likely be quite off the charts of the majority of vessels in the system. At least for the category of ships. Based solely on raw emissions, it would register as brighter than some stars, and if anyone stopped to consider what that might mean for its weaponry and defenses, it might give the Decepticons pause long enough to make them reconsider their deployments.

OOC: Before anyone whines, I'd just like to say that it's one of like 5 ships I have for a reason. It's a deterrent, rather than an offensive object. That will be all.

Megatron sat in the main chair of the ship’s bridge. Well, one could not entirely call it a ship. The ship was actually a transformer, Unicron to be exact. Before, Unicron had been a world-devouring monster of a transformer. Then Vira had come and tamed him to her own ways. Now, he was allowed to destroy only planets that could not be enslaved or persuaded to join her. She had also given him the ability to transform into a planet-sized ship.

The plan was simple. So simple that it would almost work itself out. The deceptions had lost their version of him. While mildly depressing, (as anyone would be to hear that their alternate self was dead, especially if your alternate shared your ideals) it did mean that HE would be able to make the deceptions of this dimension follow him with ease. The plan was pretty much the same with the sith. Lord Sidious and the other sith under vira, would show this dimensions sith what truly controlling their so called “force” was all about. Once they both took control of this dimensions decepticons, predicons, and sith, they would reveal to them their master. With this, Master Vira would finally have a solid foothold in this dimension.

“STARSCREAM”! ACTIVATE LOCAL WARP!”

“Yes sir. Programming coordinates. attention all mages. Begin creating warp circle 1 and two. Make sure that it is large enough for both Unicron and the Deathstar to fit through. Activating wormhole generator.”

A beam erupted from the front of the ship, followed by beams of energy that began to form a spell diagram.

“Portal formation complete. Engines full speed”

“send a message to our inter-dimensional brethren” yelled Megatron “that their leader has returned and is coming to their aid. Also, send a message to those sith that they are to get the assistance of a high sith lord and many other sith lords. All hail Vira!!!”

with that the two massive ships disappeared into the wormhole…

OOC: Maybe but please, make these facts known BEFOREHAND. I also decided to let the cloak thing go since you are adamant about that. In the future, ASK about these things. Also, just for your information, having more than one nation on one account is looked down upon UNLESS they share the population.

not part of the same account. I have to keep logging off. they are defiantly not alies either. I made me sums arch enemies :) also, trashed an rp with my failure before, so I know what to look out for. I am new to online rp so I am just learning. If you see godmode, tell me and I will fix it the best I can (I tend to dislike completely ignoring events and rather fix it as you may have noticed from my previous fixes.) also takes me a while to post, so don't expect my next action for a bit.

IC:

"Sensors have been back up for almost two meenutes," the former Andorian said in that strange, lilting voice of his. "And I'm not sure you're going to like eet."

"Tell me anyway," Falsus retorted. He was walking the ship's corridors now, patrolling and helping with the damage control. He spoke with his friend through a communications device in his left forearm.

"That beeg sheep gave us a power bleep. Looks like we underestimated her--beeg time."

"Intentions?"

"No idea. She just keeps seeting there. There's another sheep out there, too--and her energy seegnature is off the scale. ALSO just seeting there."

"Well, let's just hope they both keep on just sitting there. How soon to have full systems restored?"

"About half an hour, geeve or take when the collective comes up again."

"We need it now, old friend."

"I know."

"What happened to the Deceptacons?"

"Not sure, but we deedn't destroy them. They've weethdrawn."

"Good. Anything else I should know about?"

"Eenteresting message from the Deceptacons. They're looking for allies--the message even says until their fleet is rebuilt."

Falsus snickered. "Anything not to show respect for others," he said. "One day, they might learn about The Prophesy. Do you think that this will turn into another War of Retribution?"

"I was an Andorain, not a Cyberian. I'm not een the propheteereeng business." Falsus smiled at the pun as Omigott made it. "Also, we're being probed. One of those bystanders seems very eenterested in us."

"I hope we're reflecting their signals back at them."

"We are now, but they got some telemetry een before the sensors were up again."

"Good. They can freeload someone else's technology."

A Borg sat, slumped over a console, as Falsus walked down the hallway. Walking over, Falsus placed his six-fingered right hand on her shoulder. She rolled away at his touch. Dead.

"Main computer?" Falsus asked.

"Comeeng back online...now."

"Excellent," Falsus said. He reached down and fumbled with a module on the drone's belt. In a moment, she was surrounded by a green subspace mist. As it died away, her eyes opened. "Reload drone 4725," Falsus said.

"Roger that," Omigott replied. The console in front of the drone chirrupped, and she blinked. A startled expression came over her face.

"Commander Falsus," she said, "how long have I been--?"

"Not more than twenty minutes," the Borg said with a smile. "Welcome back. What's your name?"

"Why, don't you know? I'm Tess."

"The subcollective is down," Falsus said. "What's your specialty, Tess?"

"Computer engineering."

"Well, Tess of Borg, we need help getting the subcollective back up and running, and I can't think of anyone better to lend a hand than you. Don't you agree?"

"I'll get right on it, sir." She turned to her console and jacked in. She was smiling at the exchange.

Falsus kept walking and things kept improving. He hoped the trend would continue.

"It's time. Send the message." The captain of the ship ordered... and soon enough, messages where sent to all those in the system individually recognising their existance. The following message was the one sent to the Cybertronians.

"To the representatives of the Planet Cybertron;

First we would like to congratulate you on winning the civil war that had been recently plaguing your planet and we would like to extend an invitation for representatives from the governing group to come onboard and participate in a unique discussion and a resultant offer which will be mutually beneficial. Attached are co-ordinates relative to the main solar object, we look forward to hearing from you."

Similiar messages where passed to the Borg, and everyone else that had ships of one sort or another in the system, even the cloaked ship displaying a gravitational anomoly and the Ascendants in their differing dimension.

Now that they had sent the messages without identifying who they arre, they waited for responses to come in. Anything from "Die Scum!" to "Sure, want to be friends?"

To Unidentified Ship:

This is Falsus of Borg commanding Prophet's Hope.

Do you desire individual meetings with each, or a collective meeting with all?

And would it be too much to ask for you to let us know whom you represent?
Hate Haven

You seem to be wondereing what is up with world and hate haven. here is the short version (because the long version would be as long as your history at least the very least) Vira and Ross are extreamly powerful beings (to the point that having one without the other in person...alone... vs. all of cybertron (if the autobots and decepticons teamed up) would be godmoding x 3. (for this reson, you will never see one without the other to counterbalance it.

their are an Infinite # of dimensions. therefore, their is a scenario for everything from a bee flapping its wings a different # of times (this sort of separation is ...not so much. it is in one that is only that much different that I am considering the transcendentals to be hiding) to entire separate histories. given enough data, you could go and meet the telitubies if you wanted (rather give myself to vira if you ask me) Ross and vira travel to these other dimensions and go under contract with the people there. this contract connects you with the power of everyone contracted and increses everyones overall power.(how much you can barrow depends on both rank and emotion) the contract also enhances and alters the subjects natural abilities. the only obligation in Ross's case is that you are a good person and fight evil when you can. In viras case, it is different. her contracts do the same thing except hers enslave the subject and make them more evil than before. (before, bowser only kidnaped peach to make her like him, now he wants to bit off her head :( )

so the never ending battle continues here with Ross tring to make friends and gain allies, while Vira offers the deal of the devil while enslaving those who oppose her.

ps. cybertron: the thing in your message... IT'S PERFECT!!! use it to spoil viras takeover plans!!! (though wait till world haven gets there. I'm about to start that now.

OOC: Sorry for the crap post...Patriots-Ravens, y'know

IC:

Specter and its two corvettes took defensive formations with the decloak of the larger warship. It's gravitational well had been picked up, but since little besides the inherent mass could be unearthed from that, the Dominion had little to work with besides its actual presence. The sight wasn't probaly what it was meant to be-the Dominion had seen considerably worse in its day-but nonetheless, the sheer mass ratio of the larger ship caused a need for slight concern. A hyperprobe quickly exited Specter, heading back to the waiting group on the fringe of Dominion space. It was merely an alert to prepare for a second probe for backup if needed, though so far it was not established that the large ship was hostile.

"I expected this, give me a wide burst unencryted channel."

It wasn't directed at anyone inparticular but it was too everyone.

"This is Captain John, commander of this vessel. We desire to host a conference between all beings here, wether mechanoid or biological or energy-based life-forms. We welcome one and all aboard at which the nature of this conference and other related information will be brought forward to those that attend, you may bring some security but please arrange details of such measures with our on-board security personnel, any thing that falls out of pre-organised measures will be handled swiftly and decisively. The Darkside (http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h52/nx9100/Ravage-class.jpg) left its orbit of Cybertron, and headed for the co-ordinates provided by the aliens. As one of the Ravage-class ships, it was much smaller then the alien vessel. One the bridge, Tarantulas sat in the command chair. "I should have remained with Project Nemesis!" he insisted.
"You are the perfect choice for this mission," replied Ram Horn over the comm, "The Council trusts you to deal with the situation, without any Decepticon or Autobot influence. Are we mistaken?"
"No General. I will complete my task here. However, I should return to the Project as soon as possible."
"Agreed. Scavenger will oversee it untill your return. Ram Horn out."
Tarantulas leaned back in his chair. "Hmmph! Oh well. I was getting bored down there anyway..."

OOC: here is that counterbalence, as well as some much needed comic relief…

World haven: four hours before hate haven departs

Ross was in a terrible mood. He had good reason to be. He had been up for 48 hours and had just had only two hours of sleep before being woken up. ‘why do I have to deal with this $#!^ at this time of night’ he was staring at a little old toad with a mustache running around in a circle babbling away incoherently. ‘why the f*** did I let peach and daisy trick me into having toadsworth of all people be a royal messenger…’

Toadsworth: blablablapanicpanicshippanicblaurgentwormholeblablabla…

‘That’s right, they were wearing those tight tennis uniforms. Mmmm uniforms…’

Toadsworth: blablablapanicpanicsithpanicblaunicronblablaactionbla…

‘first I have to deal the stupid care bears and their demand for that “express your feelings” law, then I had to deal with all the emo teens protesting the thing for twelve hours, then I had to deal with the whole diplomacy thing with that new alliy and now I have to deal with an overexcited old…'

Toadsworth: …

For the first time, Ross looked at toadsworth and realized that the poor thing had hyperventilated himself and fainted. “Oh for goodness sake!” he took out his datavice and let a stream of energy flow from it. “heal” he said. Toadsworth blinked a few times, got up, and suddenly, to Ross’s dismay, remembered everything he was talking about

Toadsworth: blablablapanicpanicmmmmmmmmmf

Ross covered his mouth quickly. “Toadsworth… :headbang:why don’t you try telling me a little... slower.”

“we have intercepted some signals from decipticons and sith and Vira is starting to move and…”

“WHAT! Why didn’t you say so in the first place!!

3 hours later after reviewing all the data and gathering the troops (OOC: just assume that world haven has similar data to hate haven)

This was bad, at the rate things were going, vira would get there at least one hour before they did. On the bright side, the transcendentals they had detected were not easily found. Unless they did something stupid before they got there got there, then they would be moderately safe (not that such advanced beings could not hold their own for a while, but against vira…) before him, was a large hall in which sat (or stood) jedi, autobots, and other mecha. They had just been debriefed on the situation. “YOU DESIGNATED GENERALS SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:” he shouted “Luke skywalker, Obi 1, Anaken Skywalker, Optumis Prime, Hotshot, Mega man, Megaman X, protoman, and zero. Lets kick Vira's sorry ass. MOVE OUT!” their was cheering as hundreds of autobots, soldiers, jedi, gundams, and other fighters got into ships. This would be a big fight.

Ross watched as his ships moved out ‘I know there is something I am forgetting, but what?’ he thought. He suddenly remembered. He raced back to his castle fortress, ran up stairs, and threw open a bedroom door. The bed was empty. “PEYTON QUIN DUGAS!!!!” she had done it again. Did his sister not know the dangers of leaving world haven alone!? While he admired he courage and sense of adventure,, and while she technically WAS more powerful than the entire fleet together, she was way less powerful than vira. If vira showed up and captured her… he took out his mastervice.

On board the ship cube^3

“Incoming transmission” Optimus only needed one guess to know who it was. “SHE DID IT AGAIN!!! If you see her…” hotshot cut him off “We… know.” (in the background: I’m firecat! You be the badguy!”) “we have a couple of soilders keeping her preoccupied as we speak" (I don’t think that you should play simulation games without being in a simulation chamber, It’s dangero…” FIREBALL” *boom* “AHHHH!!! MY FLESH IS ON FIRE!!!! C> ) “PLEASE, CAN’T WE LOCK HER UP SOMEWHERE OR TURN AROUND AND SEND HER BACK!!!” (“WHY WOULD YOU CAST A FIREBALL OUTSIDE OF A TRAINING SIMULATOR AHHHHHH! I CAN SMELL MY SKIN PEALING!!!!” “sorry…” “DON’T JUST STAND THERE CAST A WATER SPELL!!!”) “you don’t want to keep tight security, then you get to deal with her! She should not hinder the mission” (“WATER SPOUT” “GOOD GOOD!!! MY CROTCH!!! YOUR SPELL HIT ME IN MY $&@*! CROTCH!!!!!!! C> C>) “…much. Ross, over and out” “w-wait an minute” ( “awww. The doctors took away my playmate. Can somebody please play with me?”) this was going to be a looong mission…

"Tarantulas, either method is acceptable, if teleporting please lock onto the locator beacon. We welcome you as a representative for Cybertron"

The shields of the ship went down to help facilitate teleportation, and moments later a locator beacon became active, in what was to become the entry point to the meeting room.

It was unknown who was speaking then it was a different voice, though presumably it was part of traffic control in the immeadiate vicinity of the ship.

Tarantulas (http://members.aol.com/xomacbeth/bw7.jpg) stepped forward from his chair. "Lock onto the becon. Teleport!" With a flash, he disappeared from the bridge, to reappear moments later onboard the alien ship. He took a look around, and chuckled softly to himself. "Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm! OOC: Waiting on you man, big shiney ship of doom+transmission should be fairly visible, and or audible, my post is back circa halfway down page 3.

IC:

<Advance at one quarter maximum acceleration, do not let them know our true capabilities, let them think us sluggish.>

<Destination Lord?>

<Orbit, they have after all challenged us, so let us make our position all too clear to them.>

<Aye lord,shall I prepare a Gate to the surface as well?>

<Not yet captain, let us get closer, and ascertain their true willingness to threaten us before we consider deploying anyone groundside.>

<As you will it. Acceleration at 1,500 gravities and holding steady, orbit in just over 45 minutes.>

The massive ship surged once again with power, and its engines flared to life, propelling it along at an incredible rate. They had already possessed some limited form of the technology they now employed when they were planetbound, now with a much larger system to work with, they attained better acceleration figures than even the highest estimates had been able to approach. They would park themselves in orbit, and demand the Cybertronians either retract their threats, or make good on them. They would not be dislodged by any other route.

Onboard Unicron:

The portal opened and Unicron began coming through it would not be long now before they could put their plans into action

“Sir! All ships seem to be gathering. From what we can detect of their conversations, it would appear that they are turning to diplomacy”

“Interesting, very interesting. Normally I would rather make them submit, but this time, a conference may work to our advantage. It will be easier to persuade the others outside of combat. Set a course for this meeting place.”

“a big talk sounds booooring” said a voice. Megatron nearly fell out of his chair. What was SHE doing here! He was on the floor looking down at a little girl. This girl had appeared only recently and who had been named Vira’s personal apprentice.

“w-w-why are y-y-ou here?”

“I was board, so mommy said I could watch you and the other people play. She said if I got reeealy board watching you play, then it would be MY turn to pick what game we play. Will uncle megatron please make the game Supper duper fun?” she said giggling…

The room was decorated with an eclectic mix of decrotative pieces, there wasn't a single style or theme that ran through but somehow, it must have been the dullish colour scheme, it all seemed to merge into one. As if the identity of each piece contributed to that of the whole, adding to it while not being gregariously in their face.

A gelatinous creature, about the size of a basketball squeltched along the floor, it was a shade of green, almost that of green grass, but a tad bit lighter, it had no visible appendages of any sort but continued about whatever business a creature like that might have, it didn't seem to notice Tarantulas. But a door opened to reveal what looked like a man, but something didn't seem right. It may have been that he was as tall as Tarantulas, or just perhaps they way he moved. It just didn't seem natural, not that Tarantulas would perhaps know what a human should move like.

"Please excuse me, I was planning to be here when you arrived but there was something which needed my attention. I am Captain John, as we are still waiting responses from the others we'll wait before the meeting begins, but I have that you would be interested in for the moment. If you would follow me please."

The Captain would lead Tarantulas through a number of doors into a room that had a number of displays.

"I like to have a number of displays around for this purpose." he said before it apparently just turned on and displayed the Andermani closing in on the Cyberton planet. "It seems that someone has taken an aggressive move against you, in direct response to your 'Identify or Die' demand. Interesting move, especially against beings such as yourselves."

OOC: Cybertron, I'm not sure what types of sensors your guys would have, but you might sense a Radio Frequncy broadcast from Captain John.

OOC:had preposed detection because you got close to a wormhole, when traveling through a wormhole, you tend to pay very close attention to dimensional fluctuations and rifts. if you say that you arrived around the wormhole after it closed. i will delete the post. alternatively, you can somehow detect me "pinging" you, you can take actions to nullify the detection and make yourself undetectable again. this would give you a convenient way of knowing that we know you exist but can't find you so that you can take further action against me.

A sleek, black vessel enters the orbit around the planet of Cybertron, approximately the length of half a foot ball field, the front part is a sharp point, but a ring floats around it, the worm-whole generator that allows near instant transportation. The vessel's engines powered down, going at a slow acceleration towards Cybertron, on board the ship are two Jedi, a Knight and Padawan, along with a diplomat and a platoon of Pencian Vocals (Elite) as guards. The diplomat, Eldar Ytan send a low-frequency transmition emanating through out the region. And now a message from our sponsors:

OOC:

The series Sliders (as an example that comes to mind easily enough) was jumping between alternate timelines. If they were bouncing between Dimensions they would hit several where life just wasn’t possible in the slightest because of the off kilter physics involved. Also, each dimension would have it’s own endless tree of alternate timelines in theory, if time affected them (another example of dimension vs timeline...dimensions can have timelines while timelines cannot have dimensions because one exists within the other).

OOC:

Actually, there was one episode fo Sliders in which time flowed backwards, in a perverse sort of way, and another one in which time moved slightly faster for that alternative world than for the others (the process had been set off by an atomic war sometime earlier). They were alternative worlds with EXTREMELY similar physics.

That should do it, youngster, Omigott sent. All systems fully restored.

Thanks, old friend, Falsus replied. You've really pulled us out of the fire.

Why aren't you back in the full collective?

I need some time to reason things out, and that's best done...without interferance.

Did you notice the Big Guys start to move?

Which ones, the OLD Big Guys or the Big Guys who just popped out of that wormhole? Or maybe the ones who sent that laugably arogant message? Did we ever trace the medium they were using?

Yes, it was mental resonance. No way to trace its source. Getting crowded, isn't it, youngster?

And to think that we're the ones who started this whole mess.

What are you going to do?

WE are going to handle each opportunity here as needed. WE are going to send a diplomatic party--preferably one with a former Deceptacon--to the meeting, and WE are going to set our defenses on maximum and keep an eye out, and WE are going to hope for as much help as can arrive.

Falsus, Falsus. Always trying to shake things up. How can you be sure that sending an enjoined Deceptacon won't provoke our erstwhile hosts?

I don't care if it does. I need for the rest of those involved to see that there is an alternative to the wanton destruction both by and of the Deceptacons. Just a moment, old friend.

To Unknown Vessel:

We will send a diplomatic party to the coordinates that you have mentioned.

So...who's going to be on the team, commander--if you don't mind my asking.

Not at all...let's see. For a proper mix of personalities, I think we need...Dorothy, Shrevel, K'Tan and...hmmmm...Starscream would be nice, wouldn't he? In fact, why don't we make him team leader?

I was never detected; none of you knew of me from this thread. Imperial Cybertron, if you want to rp, let me know. Dealing with this stuff has been too much. HH, don't come into rp's I am in and do what you do in this one, it will not be one of your greatest ideas. Until then, cya.

OOC: telros is gone :( . I realy wish they would have simply declared themselves withdrawn instead of nonexistant. would have been simpler not to worry about them anymore than to have to change the whole story. :headbang:.

IC:the ship was finaly in range. megaton raised his datavice, and out came a stream of coded energy. it surrounded him and broke him down into pure energy and code. in the next instance he was aboard the ship. he was soon followed by starscream, sidious, and Vader.

"hello Tarantulas" megatron said...

OOC: later on, (depending on if cybertron decides to do the thing I suggested in my message or not) I was planing to initiate it in a way that may seem godmodeish. it will involve ships getting damaged (not destroyed) and the death of some of your personnel (no one important. if they were named, they will not die) thought I should get your approval first so that I can modify my plans based on what you will and will not allow.

So, Starscream, it looks like you're gonna meet the folks from home. Ain't it just wonderful spreadin' all that love around?

Shut up, Shrevel.

Ahhhhh. That's what I like! Another 'shut up Shrevel point.'

Shut up, Shrevel.

Oooo! Megascore!

On a little monitor, showing the contents of Shrevel's personal visor, right under the little blue box with "TODAY'S SCORE: 4253" in white letters, appeared a little red box with "BONUS: 300" flashing in it.

Starscream chuckled. It had been a long time since he'd had the chance to swap barbs with Shrevel--and, today, he was even in a good enough mood to let him win just this once.

He had waited a long time to finally get some authority, and now the day had come. It was a brilliant opportunity to show why he should retain it--and to show his new friends what he could do for them. Time was when Starscream would never have allowed himself to think in those terms, but he found that, when he was thinking of others and not just himself, it made him more careful--and more dangerous to his enemies.

Time to get serious, people. We've arrived, he sent. Q-bert, transform the moment we've entered their ship and join the party. And Shrevel--?

Yes, oh lord and master.

I'm going to get you for that.

I'm shakin'!

No...you're Shrevel.

Ohhhhh yeah! Dorothy sent. She and K'Tan both snickered, forming an off sort of harmony as they slid down the scale.

In a moment, Q-bert had ceased to be a cube-shaped transport and two Transformers, a Human, a Vulcan and a Tellarite, all enjoined, walked, all at exactly the same speed, down the hallway toward the diplomatic chambers.

----------------------------

OOC: Thanks for your blessings on the use of Starscream, IC. I actually DID choose him because I noticed that you weren't using him. I'd thought that you'd be following the plot line of the cartoon where he had been sent flying off out of control into uncharted space, but you obviously had your own ideas. Same difference.
Hate Haven

OOC: that's what is so great about assuming that other dimensions exist. it gives you the extremely convenient excuse to alter the storyline just enough to fit your own ideas. also, I AM using starscream... an alternate starscream. that is what makes this whole thing soooo amazing! we now have 4... count them 4 sets of transformers. cybertron's, vira's, Ross's, and now yours. next thing you know, the sith will have sith transformers (If they try to pull something like that, I have an excuse they can use in the form of this dimension being made of pieces of other dimensions ;) )

on another note, still need to know if I can do that thing I mentioned and to what extent. if you want specific people dead, tell me, otherwise tell me to keep them anonomus. if you have a problem with some people dieing, then let me know (though, only having ships damaged may take away from the full horror of what will happen). It will happen around the climax of the meeting.

weather it is happening at all also depends on some input from cybertron. this is his thread after all. please tell me your thoughts on what was discussed via telegram.

ps. my knowledge of the carton is VERY limited. I have not seen the old transformers in YEARS. if I am doing it wrong, please let me know I will either make necessary adjustments... or I will completely ignore you and make up some excuse as to why it is so :)
Marionetonia
06-12-2007, 05:41
OOC: We don't have four sets of transformers, only three. You will find that any transformers I use are with IC's input, one way or another. As I pointed out, I chose Starscream because IC wasn't using him. He and I are drawing from the same pool, so to speak. Thus, I haven't used any of your alternative dimensions. Q-Bert, who transforms into a miniature Borg Cube ship, is my own creation--and Shrevel will be harping about his name, don't you worry. :) :) :) He also has a rather nasty tendency to say swear words like "$@^$)^%" and "()$^&@$." (Remind you of anything?) ;)

A redeeming virtue of your involvement, HH, in this thread is that, other than myself, you're the only one who attempts to inject some form of humor into his writing. I STILL don't like the idea that the whole multiverse has to be caught up in your little struggle, but I can live with it for now.

the first set of ships exited the wormhole. things had settled down aboard the ship since they had had Peyton sent to the end of the second wave. hopefully, the mission would be nearly finished by the time they got here.

"OPTUMUS! hate haven ships seem to be near a distant planet in the system. they are not attacking though. based on the readings, it would appear that they brought the deathstar and another ship."

"what? another ship, what are the readings on it?"

"your not going to believe this... the readings are incredibly similar to Unicron's!"

"WHAT! did they actually tame that beast?"

their was no way that vira had contracted it. Unicron fell into one of the rare cracks in the good evil scale. he was not evil per say and most certainly not good. he was a monster, a force of nature. if she had tamed it, her control was, at best, forced and incomplete.

we detect other readings as well. it would appear that their are other cybernetic entities, and humanoids, in addition to hate haven forces and the resident cybertronians. we are also picking up a ship with a variety of energy signatures as well as some sorcery readings

"must be the sith ship."

"from the conversation of the personel, their seems to be a meeting at where the ships are gathering"\

"Vira's forces must be planing to offer them her twisted contract, we must get there and reveal the truth before it's too late. just a taste of that power and the more corrupt parties involved will be hers. their is no way a sith or decepticon can resist that kind of temptation. full speed ahead send a message to the second wave explaining the situation."

OOC: knew that he was this dimensions star scream, but I consider him a seperate transformer because he is obviously not the same starscream he once was. in other words, his allegiances and opinions are completely different from before. I mentioned the other dimension thing just in case the sith brought in a THIRD starscream (for the lolz). also, think of this as a battle between gods that continuously get more powerful, are mortal, and have restrictions on them. this involvement thing you speak of is the same as ic getting everyone in his galaxy involved, just on a bigger scale.

OOC: I would have liked to get IC's reaction to what I showed his character first but in the interest of keeping this moving along, Here's a post.

IC:

Everyone with their various forms of transport arrived in the same room as Tarantulas had arrived, being directed to a side room where a long clear business-like table was located., at one end a collection of chairs enough for all the delegates from the Bog, Cybertron, the Havens as well as anyone else who might or might not arrive.

The same gelatinous creature that Tarantulas saw when he entered the first room entered through one of the vents near the other side of the table, a second door, away from the delegates opened it was Captain John who had entered the room whatever Tarantulas had done.

He looked down and then stooped as low as he could, it was the only way he could "pet" the slimey creature. Not that it was actually slimey, it just looked like it was.

Taking a seat the Captain addressed those assembled, "Please take your seats, any seats available, and we'll get started."

The same creature seemed to somehow pull it self onto the lap of the Captain, who gingerly rested his hand on it. Which never the less was engulfed by it. "Now, now. That's enough we'll play later." Captain said looking down at it. It seemed to respond with some sort of gurgle, some internal bubbling. "No! we'll do it later." The hand was un-engulfed and remained just sitting on the weird gelatinous creature.

A smile beemed to all around, though perhaps there was something about it, something not quite natural, but it would be easily dismissable as something in relation to a foreign culture.

There was a small room adjecent to the conference room. Already bored, Shrevel had ventured in to explore it. As the "Master of Ceremonies" sat down, he re-emerged.

"You know," he said, an extremely bogus look of innocense on his face, "they're out of toilet paper in there."

Starscream scowled. Dorothy and K'Tan immediately cracked up laughing.

Shrevel, don't be a pig.

As the girls started to giggle at the comment Starscream had directed at his new, once Tellarite companion, he turned to face his old one. Power cells he had not had before his enjoinment flared, causing his eyes to glow red for a moment. Then, he reached out and, with barely a hint of effort, knocked Tarantulus onto the floor. Then, satisfied that he had the appropriate parties' attention, he turned to "Megatron."

He knew why he was here: he was one of the few New Borg who could interact with Deceptacons in ways that they would respect. And it was important that he establish that respect immediately--both for himself and for his companions.

"I don't take advice from counterfiets," he said, eyes narrowing. "No Megatron I ever knew would spend his life in servitude to another and call it 'power.' And you," he hissed, turning back to Tarantulus, "if you ever disrespect my friends again, I'll turn you into a doormat and wipe my feet on you on my way out--or, maybe, if I'm in a lazy mood, I'll just let them do it for me."

Tarantulus did not need to know any more about how formidible these New Borg were in battle. He did not need to know that the one called Falsus--tiny little Falsus--had whipped him in single combat during the early stages of his enjoinment. He did need to know, however, that Starscream was more than the same robot whom he had known during the war with a different coat of paint.

It should have been a clue to the fool that Starscream no longer wore the Deceptacon insignia on his armor. The black-and-white color scheme should've been another hint. But Tarantulus hadn't been in an observant mood this evening--and now he was paying the price.

The door to the conference roomed opened there were armed men ready, the leader of which entered the room, to find that this captain John had his hand up, as if to say stop. Getting the message, they exited out of the room once more. Perhaps this would be a reminder to those about security but as he was aware of at least some prior relationship he let it pass.

"Hmmm... " he mused to himself, and soon afterwards person appeared bearing an object. "This is a little gift from some friends of ours, and until now we have never had an opportunity to test it out properly. It's I suppose a scanner of sorts, a very specialised one. It should be able to detect those that are not home to this universe, this dimension if you will, but until now we've never been able to properly test it, seeing as we have a self-confessed being from another dimension. I assure you that is related to the reason why I called a conference and is of no harm to anyone."

The gelatinous creature dripped down from the captains lap and onto the floor it started to wonder around, coming up close to Tarantula's head before just stopping for a moment or two.

Tarantulas glared at the creature, then picked himself off the floor. "My, my, Starscream. I thought loyalty was a foreign concept to you. How many times did you try to betray Megatron and take over yourself? No matter." He faced Megatron, "My apologies," he said, "I was unaware of Cybertrons from other dimensions. As for your offer, the Tri-Predacus Council will decide." He tapped his chest, "They can hear everything through my com-link. I doubt that they will give up control of Cybertron, however." He turned to face Captain John, "What kind of scanner was that? I have a knowledge of such things. Perhaps later you will allow me to examine its circuits. For now, I suggest we get on with this meeting."

--------------------

In the Council chamber, the three Generals leaned closer to the comm-link in the table.
"Starscream, alive?"
"And another Megatron. One who wishes to take over. We must take precautions against such a move."
"Unicron's survival is the bigest threat. As he was destroyed by the Decepticon-Autobot Alliance, he must be from the same dimension as this Megatron."
"Let Tarantulas continue the meeting for now. We shall wait and see what these newcomers do next."
"When the Challenger project is completed, other Megatrons, Unicrons, and the like will stand no chance against us."
"Agreed. Is the Test Ship ready for launch?"
"Final preparations are under way. It will be ready in four stellar-cycles."
"What of the Ravage?"
"It has just docked. Shockwave does not believe it can make planetfall at this time."
"Have Rumble brought before the Council at once. He must answer for his failier."

Onasi walked through the first entrance, a second door closed that would lead directly into the conference room. It seemed sizeable and the others all seemed to have companions as well; Onasi's droid bodyguard and Skrawl Provoker would provide ample protection-besides his own power-should something break out, of which he anticipated nothing of the sort quite yet. Better not to assume, though, but to stay on his toes-Onasi knew well enough that emotions could rise out of hand when left unchecked.

Onasi walked through the second door tall, the droid and the Skrawl following behind as larger, looming figures. He quietly took a seat at the table as the others bickered about some argument, ears open, scanning around to see what he could.

What are you laughing about, Starscream?

That phony Megatron, that's what I'm laughing at, K'Tan! Obey me and my master's orders! Hah! They're leading him around as if through a ring on his nose! It didn't take me a single minute to figure out that he was a doppleganger! All I had to hear was the first time he said the word 'we.' Now that is something that never enters into his vocabulary!

Well...shouldn't we be maybe just a little bit concerned? After all, if he's doing that, then someone had to kick his tail plate pretty badly, don't you think?

Yes, Dorothy, I concur--but was it because this master of his is so strong or because this Megatron is so weak?

Well...can we afford to take the chance that The Master is too weak or too kind to wipe us out if he chooses? I mean, look at that entourage. I mean, these guys all have 'heavy hitter' written all over them. Anybody who can lead THEM around by the nose...

I can't refute your logic--as always, K'Tan. We really don't know, do we? We'll just have to show some respect and play it by ear, won't we?

What if they give us an ultimatum to join them or they'll destroy us?

Then we stall for as long as we can, and take it to the Collective. We wouldn't be lieing if we told them that we don't have the authority to give them a firm 'yes' or 'no.'

Have any of you guys noticed the way the people around us are acting? It's like, their faces are changing. One moment, they look real tense, and, the next, they're perfectly relaxed.

No, Shrevel, I hadn't noticed. Too busy with other contemplations. Do you think there's any signifigance to it?

I don't know--but we don't seem to be affected. What if there's something going on that alters their minds, and our collective somehow blocks it?

Well...that's just conjecture, Shrevel. There's no way to tell for certain.

I know, K'Tann--but I think we've really got to watch ourselves here.

So glad you've finally joined the program, Shrevel. You had me wondering for a moment there.

There was a reason he wasn't yet a Sith Master-besides that he wasn't even 25 yet. Maybe this man was a Force-sensitive, maybe not, but it seemed to be a moot point. Onasi had come over to scout out the "New Borg" and figure out what these Decepticons were, not to be told that there were gates to some other path than the perfectly good one he was already treading.

"While you do make me laugh, I've found bette forms of entertainment," Onasi quickly replied to the false Sidious. "Now back to why I'm here. WH just messed with it to help prove reviel that this trick was being used. the spell effects reasoning as well as one of the emotions sith tend to have (power hunger) I will accept the borgs argument because they are many minds, making their minds very strong. with the sith, I would prefer a weakened effect in the ones with force power. not that it really matters anyway. it was more of a tool for you to indicate that HH is composed of manipulative people.

also, I was referring to the borg's conversation, not the tri-council.

IC: "if you join us, you shall have all the power you need. cybertron would be rebiult far better an grander than it ever was before.

"You do not truly understand the powers we offer, come touch these devices. simply touching them shall let you have merely a taste of what you would receive.

"We have no need of those who use the word 'friend'. Megatron said looking at starscream. Yet, you may still be the type of people we seek deep inside.

<I am not inclined to leave. Your navy is insuffecient to engage my vessel successfully, and you lack allies. You suffer from an adverse correlation of forces. Fire as you will. I advise, however that you surrender. As observed, you are outgunned. You have 2 minutes to consider, it would be unwise to engage in battle.

The massive Cruisers weapons swiveled and locked, targeting the lead Ravage class ship, enough power to evaporate a largeish continent, targeted on a point no larger than a billiard table.

OOC: borgs, you can play this out three ways (I was not expecting anyone to touch it before my next post but you are the ones touching, it works out ok. )

1. he touched it and felt the awsome power behind it. however, I take it he is a good person or...er cyborge thingy, so the power will also feel very disgusting. you may want this option because it gives your characters info and you have already played out touching it.

2. he didn't touch it and you are stopped

3. he touches it and hidden greed inside him takes over. this option would involve him turning evil. if you do this one, then we can work out whether he stays evil or is somehow purified later your choice.

to the more evil party members, don't have important people touch it. your evil will make the desire unbearable. if you have a scrape of good inside of you, you may stand a chance. you can reach out to touch it if you want but if you actually touch it, you pretty much want it more than fat person in a room full of Twinkies.

"%%(*S^%@, that feels good--in a disgusting sort of way," Q-bert said.

He's out of the collective!

I know, K'Tan.

Get him back, Starscream! Get him back!

Patience, K’Tan.

"Thank you, Q-bert. You can let it go now."

"But, #$(^*, it feels so good, Starscream."

"I know. I felt the beginnings of it before our connection was cut."

"Then you can understand...?"

"I understand, brother. It makes you feel powerful, and you can get drunk on that power. I used to get drunk on power, and it cost me."

"But...but...^()*)^%@!!! You're not me!"

We’re losing him! Shrevel sent.

It’s OK, Starscream replied. He’s lived his entire life within the collective. We created him. Distrust is something totally foreign to him. We can get him back.

"No, I'm not”, the turned Deceptacon replied. “Tell you what. Take your finger off of it just for a moment. Then, if you still feel the same way, you can have that little box again for as long as you can keep it."

"You really mean that?"

"You're my brother, Q-bert--the only other transformer among the New Borg. With you, I'll keep my bargains."

"Ohhhhhhh...@$#(*$! Alright!"

Slowly, the big, burly Borg removed his hand from the box. Instantly, another change came over him.

"$@(*#$(#$!!!!! I mean, $@()**(%*^!!!! That was just $@#*$ amazing! That thing just totally took my mind over!"

I thought that one of the conditions of him being here was that he was supposed to keep his mouth shut, Dorothy sent.

Where the @#(*$@#$ were you guys? Q-bert asked. For a minute there, I was totally @$#()@#$ alone!

That thing took you out of our little collective, Q-bert, Starscream explained.

It was Starscream who replied. Something in that device altered your mind. If only we had technology such as that…still, its affects appear to have been merely temporary.

Well, what the $@## am I supposed to do?

OOC: sorry if I came off that way (I kind felt I might sound that way but did not know how to say it properly :) ) I was more making suggestions as to what you might do because your touching it was not predicted and threw me off for a second. It worked out fine though. feel free to keep the surprises coming ;) in this post, doing something with starscream. you would probably approve, but if not, tell me and I will edit.

megatron:"I should have known that you would not be worthy of this power." prehaps the rest of you can prove otherwise.

Prime: "not so fast megatron."

a look of pure hatred comes over megatron's face and sidious has an enraged look on his face.

megatron: Prime!

prime:"doing vira's dirty work again I see. did you tell them everything they need to know megatron

megatron:"you know the rules prime."

megaman: "ya, we know, you can't tell anything about us and vice-versa and they have to be willing bla bla bla"

zero:"but we most certainly can tell them about us"

prime: "we come to offer you the same contract as them except with a few key differences and only one catch as opposed to many.

it was true that they could say nothing about their opponent, but they most cirtanly could imply it.

Luke: "the only catch with us is that you help us fight evil. think of us a a sort of inter-dimensional federation. we are headed by a master by the name of Ross. he does not rule with an Iron fist but listens to the needs and opinions of others.

x: "our philosophy is 'with great power comes great responsibility', rather than power as a method of control. the power we offer is not given to the unwilling. if you ever want out, your free to go back to your original power. we don't destroy those who leave nor do we mess with peoples good/evil balance when we contract"

with each emphasized word, they give a small smirk at megatron and sidious who replied with hateful stares back that deepened with each implication

prime: "unfortunately, decepticons and sith don't tend to be too willing, at least in our experiences. unless you can prove yourselves pure of heart, we probably will not be able to accept you. But it's fine if you don't join. in time, we feel we could help you change. once we have enough people, we will try to make this a pleasant place to live by offering our friendship and teachings to all this dimensions inhabitants. i't not too late for you brother. come with us and we can help you. let us sever your contract and show you the way

Megatron: "if you think I am going to become the weakling I once was, then you can forget it!" (turns to starscream)

"if we can't have you borgs, we can at least destroy you before you become chummy with Ross and his band of do-gooders

sidious:"MEGATRON!"

but it was too late. megatron, infuriated by the borgs defiance, his brothers arrival, the look on starscream's face (especially given that it was starscream of all people), as he was made a fool of, and finally, the prospect of losing tinged with the fear of the consequences sent him flying at starscream.

upon reaching him, much to his and everyones surprise, starscream moved approximately as fast as he did and his power was almost equal if not more so. the next thing he knew, he was flying in the air and on his back...

megatron: h-h-how!? how can you have that much power.

megaman: "and I thought hate haven did their homework. the borg have something similar to us. they are interconnected. not only is he stronger because he has something precious to protect, but i'ts augmented by that collective of theirs, sound familiar" he said holding up his datavice

zero:" your power is defined by how much you can take from others, while ours, and, it would appear, theirs, is defined by the will to protect. It's something you, much less vira, would never understand...

OOC: wow, besides the first WH post, this is probably my longest one. all hell is about to break loose just so you know ;). cybertron may want to launch that huge ship a bit early. in my next post, it will be too late for the Andermani to attend the meeting. shall I let you battle and wait to post or should I go ahead and interrupt the battle with lots of chaos? you and cybertron tell me

In the subcollective, many voices sounded at once.

Starscream, watch out!

He's attacking!

Don't let him hit you! Hold him back! Throw him off!

@()#$*#(%*#%(^*#%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then, before the enjoined Decepticon could even think, it was all over. The new combat system took over and used a sequence of moves that Commander Falsus had trained into it. The whole thing was over in a nearly-blinding rush...

...and Starscream allowed a look of grim satsifaction to spread over his face. He had waited centuries for a day like this one--a day when the mighty Megatron was lieing at his feet. But this wasn't that Megatron--and a new day had already dawned for the New Borg's Team Leader. Satisfying though the result of this little mele (sp?) was to see, it was no longer his place to make a spectacle of himself by restoring to mere brute violence.

Why don't you finish him? Q-bert asked.

This is not the time or the place, Starscream replied. This is a diplomatic meeting. Some of us have got to show proper decorum. As he spoke, realizing what he was giving up, a great rage rose up inside of him. His eyes glowed for a moment, and then, as quickly as the feeling had come, it passed.

"Well, Prime," he said, a look of self-loathing coming over him, "it looks like you've finally gotten what you wanted from me for all these years--almost. Now I can tell you what should be obvious to all--these Borg have turned me from the evil path. I am not completely good--that is why it was not I who touched their device--but I walk the path now." I shudder to think what might have happened.

He turned to Megatron. "The day may yet come," he grumbled, "when I burn beside you in the firiest depths of hell. But, understand me now, until it comes, I'll battle any horde of demons that may rise to challenge me every inch of the way down--and I will protect my brothers to the last electron in my power cells against any with the audacity to attack them. And, in case you didn't notice, I've got a few more of those than I used to have--and a better central processor as well. Funny thing about enjoinment. For all its bad reputation, it carries some distinct advantages. Do not impose upon my hospitality again."

Wow. That was really telling them!

Shut up, Shrevel.

Onasi, generally quiet, merely laughed at Sidious: "They already are."

It was virtually true-rebellion was getting stopped in its tracks, and the Shroud protected against virtually any invasion except for a single border conduit-heavily defended-that held as a natural guard of electrified space gas and mass objects. The Dominion was a place where once someone had gotten a foothold, it was hard to throw off-and now that Onasi's lords had come over and claimed control, it was hard to throw such off. Onasi knew what he had to-he knew he was not ready yet for command of the entire Dominion-so he was more than willing to bide his time. These interlopers were impetuous...

Yes, Shrevel, K'Tann replied, that's exactly what it sounded like.

How utterly predictable, Starscream sent. Oh--did I neglect to mention pathetic? They can't even handle me--without the Collective. How can they make such haughty claims?

I, uhhh, think they're holding back--waiting for the battle lines to be drawn, Dorothy sent.

Then let's use the time to our advantage, Starscream replied. They don't know it yet, but we're at war. Let's get out of here and get ready for the battle that's sure to come.

I second the motion! Shrevel said.

We have nothing more to discuss here, with them.

$@#$#%*(), Q-bert added, are we just going to let the good guys twist in the wind.

Good point, Q-bert, Starscream replied. What to do about them?

Invite them over to Prophet's Hope for a little pow-wow, Dorothy sent.

Concur, K'Tan added.

It's a concensus, then, Starscream finished. I'll pass the offer over to Prime, then. No need to bother the others with minor details. Let's get going.

"We're leaving," Starscream said as they all stood to go. He produced a data chip, with the coordinates of Prophet's Hope and a contact frequency, and turned to Optimus Prime. "Catch it, Prime. It won't bite you--this time." And with that, he flipped the chip into Prime's hand and turned back toward the door--being careful to keep his aft sensors trained on the room he was walking out of.

* * *

Prophet's Hope had finished the last of her repairs--and that included picking up the drones that had been cast into space. Fortunately, no enemies had been there to home in on their transcievers, so most of them were more or less intact when found.

Moralle was further lifted by the arrival of a second cube ship, Emperor's Choice. Sister ship of Prophet's Hope, her skipper was a former Romulan by the name of Zell. Zell liked to whine, but this was a consequence of her uncompromising refusal to settle for anything but the best. As such, where Prophet's Hope could be characterized as heartful but reckless, Emperor's Choice would be better described as ruthlessly efficient.

Apparently this Sidious was pretty well versed at psychological studies, but Onasi was a Sith-a true Sith, not this quasi-Sith trying to primp with various powers and little magical toys emitting energy powers that had convined the Borg mechanism to suddenly go bezerk. Not impressive-Onasi's masters had ripped life energy from living beings and torn apart worlds with sheer power of mind. No little trinket was required.

"I think we have a clash of priorities," Onasi said, his eyes flushing midnight black. He leaned across the table, his eyes making contact with the quasi-Sidious. "I need no one. Not you. Not your false prophets. No one. I think your friends in this 'World Haven' would frankly find the Dominion undesirable. We are not evil, as you try to promote the image. We are secular-we maintain our desires without ethical constrain. We need no trinkets," -Onasi spat the word as he flicked a finger towards the device- "to communicate our desires. Simply force of will. This persuasion attempt on your behalf to convert me and my constituents into subservient granite slugs is finished."

Onasi stood up, his eyes burning deep hatred as anger consumed his soul. With a flick of a finger, he telekinetically shot his chair across the room into a corner, turning his back as he walked from the room, the brutish Skrawl and dangerous-looking droid turning to accompany him. How could I see it? I was facing in the other direction, Starscream replied.

He just fired a @$#^ bolt of energy from his fingertips! 'Noids can't $@#()%^ DO that!

This one can.

I'd watch him, Shrevel sent. That was an ubertantrum.

Starscream chuckled. Lack of discipline is nothing new around here, Shrevel, he sent back. He could feel Shrevel's slight embarrasment as the barb hit home. Still, he works for his own needs, as we do. Perhaps we could reach out to this Dominion. They could prove to be decent allies--or, at least, less of a pain in the diplomatic chambers if we could arrange a mutual non-agression accord.

It won't hurt to ask, T'Kan sent, but I don't think he'll go for it. His people are fiercely independant, almost xenophobic--and they're arogant. He thinks powers like his are the only thing that matter. To him, we're weak.

We all start from ourselves and work our way out, Dorothy added.

All except the Borg, Starscream corrected. You're both right, of course. It won't hurt to ask, but he'll probably turn it down.

It'll probably help if you start out with a complement, Shrevel sent. You know--butter him up a little. Get him out of that 'no' frame of mind. Maybe even tell a little joke or two.

My bet would be that this Onasi has no sense of humor that he is aware of, Starscream said, letting the others feel the drip of irony in his message, but I think you're right about the complement.

And it wouldn't be dishonest, Dorothy added.

No, I suppose not.

The group stopped at the door. Starscream stepped back out of Onasi's way.

"Well said, man," the former deceptacon said. "It seems to me that your people and mine may have...similar interests. Perhaps I could interest you in an accord to ensure our mutual defense, or, failing that, at least mutual non-agression."

Finally having enough of this showing off, Captain John simply stood up and shouted in a loud voice, one that would cause ringing in the ears, one that the eardrums would barely be able to cope with. It was a simple word, "ENOUGH"

Hopefully they would take the message and settle down, the the little gelatinous creature, shook the vibrations causing ripples as if was mere water.

After a moment of hopeful silence, the Captain once again spoke "I have an offer, an item unlike any we've seen before, it's called a 'Sunstone' it's responsible for the little toy, and co-incidentaly it's power source..."

It was this point where a holographic display, coupled with a video displayed on a wall. The Holographic displayed the outline of it, while showing up various readings, strange energies ones that perhaps the Haven's would be able to identify as being related to various dimensions and timestreams, and many others. The energy readings are seemingly constant, no variation detected in them at all. While at the video display, the same information is displayed, and should any of those present be scientists in advanced fields they would perhaps be able to to infere from the information provided what is being shown on the monitor. The suntstone is shining very bright, so bright that the camera is having a hard time determining the shape of it.

It was almost shining as bright as a star.

megatron and sidious stared at the stone, quickly took out their datavices, and released a stream of digital energy towards the monitors and screens. world haven did the same almost instantaneously. the two streams met the screens at the same time, much to the annoyance of both. now that they had both connected, nether could block out the other, and any discreet spy, or virus programs would be instantaneously detected by their opponent and canceled out. they then downloaded the data and brought back in the data streams. they then began to read the data

OOC:

Right now, there seem to be 4 sides in this battle.

1) The "Good Guys." These are championed by HH's character, Ross, and include his autobots, etc. The New Borg will probably end up on this side.

2) The "Bad Guys." These are championed by HH's character, Vira, and include his deceptacons, sith, etc.

3) The Dominion, who don't want any part of either of those two. Vira will probably try to stomp on them, and depending on how they choose to play it, the New Borg may come to their aid--if it ever gets to that point.

4) The Undecideds--and there are a bunch of 'em.

For the record, the New Borg are interested in forming alliances with anyone whom they can trust. They do, however, offer "enjoinment" to anyone who is willing to accept it--and this does not revoke the enjoinee's citizenship in whatever nation he or she may belong to. T'Kan has a story to tell, if anyone wants to hear it, that can shed much light on how this all works and why anyone in their right mind might want to enjoin themselves to the New Borg.

OOC: Basically the Sunstone is a plot device that I use to power the technology of another puppet of mine. The stone being displayed isn't on the ship but there is a much smaller in size and in power one used in that little scanner "toy". Warning to whoever in the end gets the stone, this by no means will be easy to use energy source and comes barrleled up with alot of hassle. You get nothing for free.

IC:
If the information both of them were getting was right then by all means this object shouldn't exist, there was nothing to show of any input into whatever internal processes created this energy and yet the energy was constantly pooring out. The Sunstones seemingly created the energies they were giving out.

To make matters even more confusing and mysterious, all recorded attempts at probing the contents of the stones failed, every single method they used either returned garbled results, interference from the energies of the stone, or returned information as if nothing at all was there. Perhaps the only thing that was known about the actual stone, and perhaps the most obvious was the sheer amount of energy that it outputted, but somehow failed to drastically alter it's surroundings in any perceptible way, as something this powerful should obviously do.

"No, we did not create this stone, if that is an appropriate word, the truth is the only thing we know about it is it's great potential as an energy source. Our technicians skilled in reverse engineering, have so far failed at deciphering the technology within this so called scanner, seemingly there is something that is missing that is eluding us. Perhaps someone else will be able to have it."

Megatron was close too seizing the garbage man by the neck and demanding information on the stone. the only thing that held him back was the possibility of contracting him and his people and thereby avoiding having to resort to more...difficult methods. This was not the place to begin a fight. not that he cared about the garbage men's ship or diplomacy, but the room and the situation left them at a disadvantage.

the object could be a number of things. the difficulty in reading it indicated excessive power. perhaps their master could read it, but not them. The chances were though, that this was a sealed soul. either the soul inside was an excessively powerful mortal, or it was a god. regardless, he wanted it. he had, so far, been failing miserably in his efforts to contract. it was obvious that they would not get a strait answer, or any answer for that matter, from the garbage men easily. They did not seem to be interested in the contract at all. should the decepticons refuse the offer as well, there would be hell to pay. this stone was the only thing that could keep them from the torture chambers.

sidious:"should you join with us, we can find out the secrets of this stone. we know of objects that have large amounts of power such as this. you could have access to that power." (turns to tarantulis)"The same goes for you as well decipticons. We have acces to many objects such as this."

while it was apparent that he was still angry about the other sith, it was also notable that both hate haven delegates were getting more and more nervous with each refusal.

OOC: hint hint, turn them down and things go boom! I just figured out how to work the sun stone into the boom part. garbage men, I will send a tg telling my thoughts and you can tell me yours.

Trailers, thou are right, it is getting nuts. with a rp like this, everyone has a plan which meets up with other peoples plans. the result is a wonderful blend of "flipping retardation" that makes the rp amazing :)

"I'm sorry, but perhaps you have me confused with someone who is an idiot. I will not become a third rate pawn in your game, and neither will I just hand over this extremely rare and unique item; if you want it you will have to pay for it one way or another."

His tone was even, perhaps even slightly friendly but never the less there was a strong dose of defiance and even perhaps a veiled threat. Sidious and Megatron were not going to easily weasel their way into obtaining the object of power. As these things usually do, great power comes at a tremendous cost.

Captains John was facing down the sith lord, his pet of a gelatinous creature however had now merely decided to spread out, to the point where it almost looked like a shallow pool of water.

I don't like it, Dorothy sent.

Why? T'Kann asked. What's wrong with it?

Violates the basic law of conservation of energy.

Not to rain on your parade, Dorothy, Starscream said, but that's fairly obvious. Is there something more to this that you're not telling us? It was a mark of his "progress," he told himself, that he was asking this question rather than insulting the girl for her stupidity. You are, after all, the subcollective's physical scientist.

And he was rewarded. Think about it, Dorothy sent. If it's not getting its energy from this universe, then where is it coming from?

Several possibilities come to mind, T'Kan pointed out.

And none of them are very good. Dorothy continued. Either it's a container for something that's very energetic, or it's an interdimensional rift generator, pulling power from some other universe.

Got it, Shrevel sent.

Yeah, Q-bert added, an' I bet it'd be $@#$ hard to reverse-engineer, too! One false move and--.

Pow. Splash. Starscream completed. Might make a useful weapon against this Vira, though--though her people claimed to have several of them. All they'd have to do was figure out how to get it to detonate--and that would probably not be very hard. Still, Starscream knew the terratory--there was no way that he was going to trust a single word that came out of Megatron's vocal synthesizers, not in a situation like this one.

Starscream looked back at the Garbage men.

"We won't be bidding on your toy," he said, "and we recommend that no one else would, either. Little boxes like that one tend to have funny things come out when they're opened."

Starscream turned toward the door, noticing that Prime still held the data chip that the enjoined deceptacon had tossed to him. He still felt his old rage for the autobot--it comes naturally--but Starscream had realized that this was actually because of his effectiveness as a warrior. If he hadn't been any good, Starscream would have wiped him out years ago without a second thought. Perhaps, if he could be trusted...

luke raises his hand and strugles to counter the force

luke:" and how do you suppose... (struggle) your going to take anything... with us around... sidious"

zero: "the only reason we are not kicking you sorry ass's back to the filth from which you came right now is because you are contracting and there are other people who might get caught in the crossfire."

Even for perhaps the brief moment in time where the force choke was un-countered the captain seemed to be unaffected, his attention was to X as if totally oblivious to the force battle going on around him.

"This is truly a strange, unusual and perhaps unique stone, perhaps your description of us as garbage men (OOC: Which you would have no idea ICly yet about TGM as an entity) is accurate, perhaps more so than you realise but that is neither here nor there."

Totally not answering the question put to him by X for the moment, the captain turns his attention to Starscream, "oh, I am certainly disappointed by your decision but as you can see there are others willing to engage in negotiations, you may stay or leave, the decision is yours."

Stooping down he prodded the creature that had been at or around his feet for the whole time, It stired from it's restful state and once again became a blob, what it intended to do was anyones guess, but whatever it was it was clear that the captain, Captain John, was not finished yet.

"From the Energy readings displayed, this... stone can easily power a large space faring ship and if you find ways to utilise the other energies there is theoretically nothing that one can do, how can you really name a price for that, it's worth is infinite. Any price I could offer you would be a bargain, of course that's assuming money is all you have..."

Prime: "even if you don't agree to a trade, we will have to insist that we monitor your research and experiments with this object. that object is potentially dangerous. It is possible that we are dealing with a sealed god. we have yet to determine if it is benevolent or not. if you were to accidentally break the seal and it was malevolent, it would be the end of your world and perhaps a few more.

Onasi stopped as the Borg Starscream posed the offer. Mutual defense was always a bit of a big first step, indeed, especially with a race such as the Borg, who were not exactly the most trusted species amongst a primarily organic civilization such as the Dominion. Still, with whoever these wackos who were trying to persuade everyone of their ideals around, Onasi figured to take what was thrown his way and potentially use it to his advantage.

"One would think from uneasy tension to mutual defense would be a bit of a big step right off the bat," Onasi replied. Even if you do manage to destroy this ship if we don't report in it will be hidden so deep that even energies so powerful as this can't escape. You are trying to do something that is impossible. I tire of you..."

and with that the ships own teleportation devices powered up, it was as if the captain was controlling it without saying a word, these only worked short range but that was enough... energies surrounded Megatron, Sidious and all others that had arrived from Hate Haven would be teleported into open space in the system.

everyone who watched this got a feeling of horror and disgust despite the little girls cuteness

megatron"w-w-we can explain"

(panicy music starts to play and escalates as she goes on.[think JAWS type stuff)

?????: "your game is over now right? It's my turn to play"

sidious(on moniter):"w-wait, we can still win, we can blast them to dust! please give us a chance!"

?????: "nope." she said hoping down from megatrons chair "your game is getting tooooooo boring"

suddenly she was gone and in the next instant, she was siting on the shoulders a terrified sidious

"I have a new game we can play" she disappears again and reappears inches away front of the amasonian siths face

"it's called who can scream the loudest" she whispered to his ear before disappearing again only to appear behind optimus and kick him to the ground breaking a monitor.

"hears how you play" she disappears and reapers on the borg ship's ceiling. she then flips down and lands on borg-starscream, slamming him to the ground. it was enough force to dent the metallic ground beneath his feet

"I take turns making everyone hurt" she disappears and reappears with her arms hugging the back of captain Johns neck. the slime bubble that had been 'growling' sudenly cowered in fear and seemed to get 'sick'

"and whoever screams the loudest... wins" she slowly licks the face of the captain and disappears again

she appears this time in front of Tarantulas

"how about we decide using iny" Tarantulas appears as though he has been hit even though the girls hands don't 'appear' to move. "meany" (punch) "miny" (punch) "mo" Tarantulas goes flying to the back of his ship breaking down the door

she appears in the middle of the ships "IS EVERYBODY READY!!! INY" one of the garbage mens guards has a magic circle appears around him before he suddenly disappears and reapers in the girls hands she then proceeds to reach into him and rip out his heart and swing him from the still attached veins and arteries she then throws him at the death star with enough force to bust a hole in part of it.
"MEANY" this time, it was a borg and this time she riped out the poor creatures soul and riped it out. she then tore it in half and threw the exploding pieces at two other ships.
"MINY" now it was an amazonian. she shot a blast of energy through him destroying his soul and causing significant damage to johns ship
(it continues in this fashion with the victims and damaged ships being completely random)
"MOE" AAAAAAAH "CATCH A" AAAAAAH "PERSON" NO PLEASE AHHHHHH "BY THE SOUL" AHHHHHHH "WHEN IT SCREAMS" AAAAAAH "DON'T LET GO" AAAAAH "INY" AAAAH "MEANY" AAAAH "MINY" AAAAH "MOE"

on moe she raises her hands, "hey everyone, guess what? it looks like you all get to go AT THE SAME TIME" she begins to laugh as an energy ball begins to grow in her hands. as she laughs, you can hear overtones of the beast within.

teehehehahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The gelatinous creature soon returned to a more healthy state, "I reccomend that everyone leave now, if you are still here in 2 minutes I cannot be responsible for what happens to you."

OOC:I sent tgm a tg. hopfuly they are still in.

I am suddenly realizing that, while the thing that just did may be clear in my mind, it may go misinterpreted in yours. so here is a summery of what happened.

little girl from earlier in the rp shows up and decides to play. she teleports from ship to ship before you can blink while saying and doing creepy things (while also demonstrating her power). she then teleports to the part of space in between the ships. personnel from random ships are teleported too her on each note of the iny miny miny mo song. when they reach her, they are killed in a horrifying way (and in some cases, used as ammunition to attack other random ships. the personnel and ships include world haven and hate haven ships; it's not just you)

At the end of the song, she raises her hands indicating that you are all 'it' and a energy ball starts to grow above her hands as she laughs. the later part of the laugh has demonic sounding overtones. the energy ball grows enough to feel like a supernova going off in everyones face. just as you are feeling like you are totaly f***** (unless you area pretty cool guy like john and doesn't afraid of anything:cool:), she suddenly senses something and stops. The energy ball begins to shrink back into her and then she says stuff about a friend (to be reveled shortly) and teleports away...

it is up to you to decide how badly your ships are damaged. I left that undefined on purpose. if your shields are amazing, then they may even block her first shot at you (later shots would get through because she would use more power).

oh ya, and Unicron starts to make funny noises.

The collective did not scream--rather, it roared in anger.

Arogant whelp! YOU. WILL. BE. PUNISHED.

Before the girl's energy ball could completely dissipate, a disruptor beam from shot out of the near side of Prophet's Hope, detonating it. The little girl's hands burned off in the explosion.

Then, she won the game. Her scream was louder than were those of any whom she had harmed. Not that anyone else heard it--sound doesn't travel through empty space.

suddenly, a laser shot fired and disrupted the nearly reabsorbed ball. the ball exploded taking her hands and nearly disrupting her air spell

AHHHHHHHHRG

pain. she had forgotten what it felt like. she glared at the borg ship, but only for a moment before regaining her smile.

THE CRETINS! how dare they harm her! only one was allowed to harm her. how dare they do so in her place! they would rue the day they had done this. she would make sure of that. next time, she would keep her guard up. next time, she would not give them the chance to even fire. to add injury to insult, they had, and were, causing her to waste valuable energy.

she raised her arms in the air. she wanted them to see. to see what they were dealing with. slowly, energy from her datavice came out and started to rebuild her atoms bit by bit. it was all the more infuriating that she had to waste energy rebuilding from scratch due to the lack of atoms in the immediate area.

she gave one last look at the borg ship. she would come for them once she reclaimed what should have been HERS!
she then raced off at incredible speeds towards the other end of the system...

Standing on his newly-healed bridge, Falsus surveyed the situation.

Well, he broadcast to no one in particular, after all that, we barely even got her attention.

I shudder to think, Omigott replied, slightly startling his commander.

Think WHAT?

If that's what it takes to get her attention...

And?

Mark my words, youngster: she'll be back.

Then we've got to be ready. We'll need to start by debriefing the contact team. Starscream, what happened out there?

No reply.

Starscream?

Silence. A look of apprehension came over Falsus' face. He'd already lost one crewman today, and had to spend a great deal of time tracking down and retrieving the drones who had been thrown into space from the hull breach after the missile blast. He did not want to see any more of his people getting hurt--or worse.

Alright, what happened to Starscream?

He took one on the chin, mister commander, sir. It was Shrevel who replied.

Just call me Falsus, Shrevel. Now, what did she do to him?

I'm not sure. We haven't finished the diagnostic yet. All I can tell you is that he went unconscious after she knocked him to the floor.

Yes. I felt that. Thought he was alright because I didn't feel any more.

I'm looking over the diagnostic, Omigott said from engineering. Look at his primary data conduit. Looks like it's down, but the sensor is malfunctioning. I'm starting up an override to fire up his backup system.

Ohhhhhh--that stinking, spoiled brat!

We're glad you made it back, too, Starscream, Falsus sent.

You really had us worried for a minute or two, buddy, Shrevel told him.

Well, don't just stand--er--thank you for your concern, but we should be getting to the debriefing chamber, shouldn't we?

If you're OK, T'Kan said.

Thanks to you, I am. It had taken Starscream most of his life to realize the value of friends who actually cared about him, but he understood. Old habits may die hard, but, as a warrior, Starscream was now concerned for them. This girl--if that was an abt description--could span jump instantaneously between locations, batter objects much harder than her own simple flesh and, if the scanners were to be believed, control astronomical quantities of energy, even coalescing them into matter at a whim. Arogant and sadistic, she was astoundingly dangerous. The collective would have to grill the phony Prime for any information that he could give them if he ever chose to take them up on their invitation.

Good, Omigott said, because we've got some adaptations to make!

"Yes, very good," Starscream thought to himself. "He knows it, too."

OOC: Perhaps I was a bit hasty, but about the warning I never received a TG from you until a day ago. You were saying you were planning sometihng.

Anyway, as long as the energy ball wasn't made within my ship I'd be happy enough with that. And it takes me a while to get TG's I only at most check my TG's once a day.

Anyway... to post

IC:

The energy of the ball rushed at the ship, as it approached the ship seemed to be emitting a strange energy of it's own.

"This is not ... of my doing..." said Captain John as he was in the bridge of the ship. Diagnostics report.... "

"Everythings seemingly running normally and responding... I'm getting nothing that would explain this."

"I don't like this... this is unusual."

And soon it was as if the ship had suddenly changed... from the monsterous beast it was to something no bigger than a fly. The bridge just stood there dumstruck... Was it really true? What else could they do?

And then there was a report from the conference room where everyone was previously.

"Sir, the toy is broken."

There was a pause while Captain John processed the information, until he was once again transported within his ship back into the conference room. On the table ahead of him where the fragmented remains of the handheld dimensional scanner. "I'm detecting no stone... It was here not long ago."

Suddenly he was transported back to the bridge, "we are going to where we are storing the stone. Co-ordinates have been sent to the navigation console."

The ships much smaller than usual engines outputed much less energy than usual but plenty enough for the scale. They dissappeared from where they were on their way to their intended location. The Sunstone which they had lost, had not been destroyed but merely had been floating far enough away so that the Captains sensors could not detect it.

OOC: They're trail is findable but needs extremely high resolution in the scanners.

"Awwwwwwww," Starscream said, sarcasm dripping from his voice (which is why he chose to speak the words rather than transmit them over the collective), "they're concerned for our absorbant little hides."

Falsus knew good and well what the transformer meant: they're trying to use us to further some diabolical end of theirs. The tiny Borg would've rolled his eyes if he'd had any, but he relied upon two occular implants. His unusual cybernetic add-ons made him look like he wore a cowal. A small gem in the center of his forehead changed color to help indicate his emotion--when he wanted it to.

"Their emotions are irrelevant," Falsus countered. "They've asked us if we survived, and have done us no harm. We survived. We should tell them as much."

Starscream smiled his vilest, most sarcastic smile. "By all means, then, answer them. In fact, why don't you give them the precise coordinates of our core planets? They are, after all, transdims."

"Perhaps I wil," Falsus repliedl. "They owe us a visit."

Attention do-gooders. This is Falsus of Borg. Rumors of our demise--and
our inability to defend ourselves--are greatly exagerated. Speak with us at
your liesure.

Starscream looked down at the floor and sighed heavily.

"Falsus," he said, "you're going to have to work on that ego of yours. Comments like that over an open channel are an open invitation for the next superspecies wannabe to squash us like bugs."

"And what," Falsus countered, "if we're the next superspecies wannabe?"

"Then we'd better hurry up and regain consciousness. There's a big, bad world out there, and it's all much more real than any self-indulgant fantasies that we might want to horde."

"Point taken. Thank you for your realism. I wasn't sure you had it in you."

"Yes, Falsus, but I knew it was a test the moment you said it." Starscream smiled again. That processor upgrade had been a wonderous thing.

With his newish, more powerful mind, Starscream actually pondered the similarity between himself and the Borg in general--and his commander. All of them had undergone huge transmutations, and, he was sure, all of them had needed to give up a world of delusions along the way.

Falsus of Borg to Optimus Prime:

We're fully repaired here. We even managed to load a new consciousness
into the body that the unidentified assailant emptied of its...owner. If you
wish, we can assist your fleet in its repairs--our engineers are nothing
short of legendary.

As to your question of following our former hosts, we were monitoring their
internal communications. Our information is that this energy source of
theirs has disappeared. Thus, warning them to stay away from it is
irrelevant.

I feel that we should follow them, however. They have been honest and
cordial with us, and we could return the favor by helping them to find the
object, and to neutralize it should it prove to be as dangerous as our
collective has concluded it might be. Nonetheless, we also feel that, while
we should make our intentions known to them, we should follow them at
and monitor them from a respectful distance. We have concluded that
our former hosts are experienced space scavengers, and thus were used
to finding and reverse-engineering other cultures' technology--they did not
anticipate their current difficulties, nor was there a plot afoot to foist
something that was dangerous upon another unsuspecting culture. To
them, this thing did not appear to be dangerous.

Your opinions?

"What? Not a single word about the advantages of enjoinment and the enrapturing brotherhood of the New Collective?"

OOC: By the way the TGM ship went from ~ 600m by 102m to 20cm by 3.4cm

or similiar co-ordinates before it bugged out, very strange but something the crew nor captain john instigated.

IC:

The ship had shrunk by a factor of 3000 but still made it to a new destination appearing around 15 light years away. After a brief scan of the system they identified a recognisable ship.

Scans would easily reveal that there was no Sunstone on board either ships, as if it was that easy. It was never intended that Captain John the cybernetic being nor his crew set eyes or sensors on the stone, but Captain Jo

hn was convinced that the Sunstone was the cause of his current problems and was sure the Sunstone would fix it.

The known ship in question was of very similiar design, in appearance, differences in technology and other things would give it a very different energy signature, it was almost technologically an entirely different ship. However on the side of it with bright white lettering were three letters.

"TGM"

Communications were exchanged and the people in the marked ship were obviously suprised. Soon, Captain John, his little critter and the rest of his crew were safely in minature about. The larger ship, discussions would be on going.

I am worried about how they lack caution when dealing with an object such as this. confidence is good and all but throwing caution to the wind is a bad idea perhaps we can follow them and make ourselves apparent once they reach their destination, just to scare them a little into beefing up their defenses. if we can't moniter the stone, then we should at least make sure that they are doing their best rather than flaunting such things in front of strangers."

OOC: HH: I presume Unicron has somehow absorbed the stone? If so I'll need to talk to you about the stone.

IC:

Captain John looked out over the view screen of the second, normal size but entirely massive ship, not even being 1mm high himself the bridge itself seems like the size of a planet.

He had managed to link himself into the communications network of the ship he and the others had hosted into and was so able to communicate effectively with those onboard, he was also able to send messages and would perhaps be amused to see the Borg.

It is perhaps with some Irony that we see you again, Starscream of Borg. Seeing as you've managed to locate us It is only right to properly introduce myself. I am Captain John of The Garbage Men Corp. I take it from the attempt humour which I am assured is funny that you are well understand our current predicament which I have no real explanation for except for some involvement of the small Sunstone.

I'm hoping that somehow I can reverse the situation, but whether large or small hands are needed I would appreciate your help.

"John, are you sure you want to do this? I dunno, Borg, Seem like they want to unify everything... which includes the corp. I've had trouble with their kind before. I just don't trust them."

"No, I know about those Borg, I had accessed your records on them when I arrived and these are different... They didn't even want the stone and warned against others taking it up noting it's obvious, constant energy output without any notable input."

"So they sunk the deal? Sounds like they aren't in tune with corporate policy."

"They seemed to care.. but no it wasn't them. Some jokers where there who wanted to take the Sunstone by force. I'm glad we put those security measures in or they would most likely have it their possession now. I'm uploading my log so you can see for yourself."

"Alright, alright, even as tiny as you are, I'm still scared of you."

"Was that a joke?"

"Yes it was."

There wasn't any clever remark. There was a very bad statement about a lot of little hands. The point was to show that Starscream is still arrogant. The actual joke was that he, with his big bad new CPU, would be stuck up and dumb enough to think that it was funny. :) :) :)

"Very well, Captain John. The secret to our success isn't a secret at all. We heal our ships--notice that I said 'heal,' not 'repair'--rapidly because they are a part of our meta-organism. I'm sure that you're familiar with Borg nanoprobes--well, they work with us to get the job done. And our engineering teams share minds, working as a single unit to accomplish our common goals.

"We can probably do something for you, however, without the need for nanoprobes, or enjoinment--though, to be fair, I feel that enjoining some of your people to our collective--on a strictly voluntary basis, or even temporarily--would be of great benefit to you.

"To help you, I'll need you to trust me and allow me to make complete sensor readings of your ailing vessel. From there, we can attempt to diagnose her illness and, obviously, cure it."

-------------------------------

Unicron, eh? Falsus sent. I've been itching to give that overgrown snot--and his masters--a good lesson in manners.

Don't be impulsive, now, Falsus, Zell replied. We're not playing childish war games like the Deceptacons.

I'm not, Falsus countered. You know what our Unicron did without half the power source this one appears to have. He's a legitimate threat--and to more than just us. I assure you, this is no game.

Then how do you propose that we take on such a behemouth? Aren't we just a little out of our league?

Do you judge my prowess by my size? We have weapons capable of damaging him. A subspace render, for example.

A subspace render is useless without four ships to balance its forces.

We have four ships at our disposal: Emperor's Choice, Prophet's Hope, Q-Bert and whatever vessel the do-gooders arrived in.

They'll never go for it. They don't know enough to tune the weapon.

They don't have to. We can send them subspace telemetry--control the process remotely, while they study the technology.

And what do you think the odds of them doing that are?

Let's find out.

Falsus just appeared in the middle of Prime's bridge. He was small, but moved with a strange grace that belied his borg implants as he took a few steps forward to meet his counterpart.

"I'm Falsus of Borg," he said, "and I've heard good things about you. Now, if you don't mind, I've got a little deal to discuss with you."

--------------------

OOC:

The deal is: in return for letting the New Borg use your ship as part of their Unicrom Neutralizer (I did not write that the plan would work as advertised), they get to keep and study the subspace rending technology.

Note that this and its offshoots will make the New Borg into some pretty tough customers if whatzername actually chooses to return. They'll be able to cut her off from her extrauniversal power supply.

IC:

Repairs are unnecessary, appart from our sudden and unexpected decrease in size the ship is in perfect working order. From what I can see from the ships sensors and logs, it seems that mass of the ship was converted into energy which deflected the blast and protected the ship. This was not of any of our doing and it was done in such a controlled, uniform and consistant manner that resulted in no known damage what so ever. All known crew members are accounted for and in an unharmed state, integrity of the ship and everything on board has been maintained we are just smaller we were by a factor of 3,000 to 1. Which is in itself quite a hinderance to operations.

Any scans would not be able to find Captain John's ship inside the larger one, and so would not be able to confirm or contradict his statements though a question needs to be asked how did the miniaturised ship able to achieve FTL if it wasn't?

"Meet us here." the message to the borg was short and to the point as time now of the essence. Attached to the message were co-ordinates. To a location about another 10 light years away. Well, Falsus, I've been a good little boy and even offered to help our neighbors in distress. One small catch: they've taken me up on the offer, and it'll take a cube ship or two to do what they need to have done.

We're busy, Starscream. Unicrom's absorbed one of those infernal sun stones that those people were bandying about, and, if we can't stop him, all hell is going to break loose.

Sounds like fun. Too bad I can't be there. I'll try to keep our newfound friends occupied, then. Follow the bouncing beacon when you get the chance.

With that, Starscream fired up his jump drive. It would take three jumps to get to the new coordinates, and each but the last would require a recalibration that could take as much as an hour. Too bad he hadn't taken along any videos to relieve the boredom, like Optimus Prime Crushed.

IC:

When Starscream finally arrived at the co-ordinates given, He'd find himself on the edge of a system, the ship with the white TGM lettering pulled up beside him and a message broadcasted at him.

Startscream of Borg, Thank you for coming. It's time I filled you in on what happens now. To get the Sunstone so we can work to remedy the situation I find my ship currently in we are going to have to pretend that you purchased the stone. When the stone was purchased I was meant to direct you to the captain of this fine vessel who had taken you here. Don't ask, corporate beaucracy and red tape. They like to keep things like this at distance. As a counter measure for piracy. I'll pass you on to Captain Jacobs, perhaps the only man I have confidence in.

There was a brief pause as Captain Jacobs manuevered himself into position

First, I need to say quite openly and honestly. I don't trust you, if you truly do want to help then you will do as I say. It is the only way to be able to get our hands on the stone to reverse whatever was done to my colleagues ship. On the second planet in this system is a small outpost with a small but direct wormhole link to the site where the sunstone is being stored. To gain access you will need to be convincing that you won the auction, you will need to know details about the stone and you will need to come as really wanting the stone for this to work. Otherwise it's all our asses. Are you all ready? One final question, I need to know how much to say you paid for the stone so I can falsify appropriate records."

And with that the link went dead Captain Jacobs was obviously much more gruffer than Captain John and it seemed obvious that he didn't like the Borg. However he was willing to betray the corporation for his friend, so who knows, suurely he couldn't be that bad.

Starscream of Borg to TGM and Captain Jacobsen.

The irony of this situation has not escaped me. Not to be trusted
by the kind of person who will betray his own is...delicious.

Nonetheless, I am under orders from my superiors to show our
trustworthiness--and I obey my superiors these days. I understand
the esteem in which you hold your friend because I hold them
in the same esteem.

We paid you a simple barter: the energy source for access to our
system of subspace conduits, and the interdimensional technology
that we use to build them, among other uses. You saw the need
for this because it is the only technology that anyone has so far
discussed that could be used as a weapon against our...other-
dimensional rival. In fact, it was an offshoot of this technology
that I had planned to use to help you repair your vessel.

You should feel that you're getting the better of the bargain.
If it were transacted, you would be.

Please transmit details that I should be aware of. Particularly, I
am interested in the shielding structure and self-cooling properties
of the object. How does it keep itself from exploding?

I will also need to know what "TGM" stands for. Certainly, we've
known each other long enough to be on a first-name basis, no?

Starscream out.

-----------------------------------------------------

The guns were still pointing at Falsus. The smirk hadn't left his face. Cocking his head slightly to the side, he turned toward Prime again and asked, "What is this datavice? And why do you presume that this apparition is going to be your ally?"

As he spoke, both Prophet's Hope and Emperor's Choice began to move to flank Unicrom. As they did, their energy signatures increased tenfold, and showed signs that a further power-up was yet to come.

Both ships were hailed from the surface of the planet.

X gives a grin

X: right. in the confusion, forgot about your questions. to answer your second one, you are here for one thing. we have anti-evil barriers set up. to break them, you would have to be fairly powerful. even then, we would be alerted. second of all, we met your companions. from what we can judge, they were good people. unless you are the odd one out, you are probably a fairly good. third of all, if you were an enemy, you would not have come alone unless you were reasonably stupid. from what I could tell, the others we met were smart so they would have sent someone better. seeing how you are here, we can therefor say that you are not only intelligent, but probably used to diplomacy. fourth of all, if you are a holographic message as can be inferred by by you saying that you are an apparition, you would have started making threats the moment you got here. and finally, with unicron going nuts, now would be a very bad time to get on bad terms with someone else. megaman your turn.

megaman: oh come on, do I have to? this may be the fifth time I would have to explain the system this month!

...

megaman: fine! ok, the datavice. it's a handheld computer that can hold and read reality code. this is the code that defines everything. given enough energy, we can read a block of metal and copy it. but thats more of a side feature. it's main purpose is to connect the souls of those who possess it together. I'm sure that starscream has told you about sparks, which are the cybertronian version of a soul.
when one person is not using his power, it is distributed amongst those who are using their power. how the power flows is determined by emotion. I am sure that you have heard of people being suddenly stronger in a pinch, or when they have a need to protect. datavices pretty much augment this effect. in other words, if someone 'believes in you', you feel it more and get power from it. you can think of us as an inter-dimensional federation. we are trying to unite all worlds while protecting them and liberating th ones taken by vira. she's doing the same thing, except, well, you get the picture.

zero: thats all fine and dandy and all, but I think we have other things to worry about. unless they want to contract now, I suggest that we work on a plan

Starscream used the number that he had been given to verify the receipt. He didn't like this. He was flying without backup, and he was out of touch with the collective. No doubt, they would not have allowed him to continue the act of subterfuge that he was beginning, but Starscream had thought it over and decided that he could probably convince the greater corporation of the Garbage Men that he had their best interests at heart--if they caught him too early. He was, after all, acting to the benefit of some of their employees, with no expectation of immediate personal profit. They might respect a being who could prove the ability to outwit them when the situation arose.

Deceptacons do not know fear, but Starscream was well aware that he was putting his metal hide on the line here. He had a pretty good idea of what would happen if he got caught--any Borg, new or otherwise, was rife with technologies that virtually any other civilization would want to reverse-engineer. As a mechanoid, capable of evolution during his own lifetime, he was particularly vulnerable to this. That he was also more durable than a member of a softflesh species would only serve to prolong his agony.

If it served Starscream and the New Borg, then it would all be worth it.

Thus, it was resolutely that Starscream pulled into a parking orbit and waited for further instructions.

---------------------------------------------

"I command Prophet's Hope," Falsus said. "I leave it to you to judge me as you see fit--but be advised, even now, I am in communication with my crew. We are as one. But you've no time to lose. Let us get a team of engineers in here and install a subspace-twister in your ship! Together, we can put a restraining grid around that behemouth before it can hurt someone! But we need four ships with the right equipment to pull it off!"

"That is all fine and well," Optimus Prime said, "but, even if we trusted you with our systems, it would still only give us three ships."

"Good observation," Falsus said. "Observe your monitors." As he spoke, Q-bert, in full cube-ship mode, launched from Prophet's Hope and immediately headed for a station point that would allow himself and the three other ships to cover Unicrom in a three-sided pyramid.

"@#^in' A, I'm ready!" he said.

"You were saying?" the tiny borg asked. Almost as an aside, he added, "You'll find us to be valuable allies, contract or no."

A confirmation of the message containing the receipt number was sent back to Starscream. "Transaction Receipt Number Received: Please wait for processing to be completed..."

Starscream arrived in orbit around the planet but still had yet to receive confirmation about the validity of the receipt number. A couple more minutes passed without anything happening and suddenly he received what he was waiting for.

Starscream of Borg, We have confirmed the Transaction Receipt Number. We have activated a navigation beacon on the surface of the planet. Please make your way down, or if need be appropriate representatives in your place.

And as good as there word a navigation beacon came online announcing where Starscream should go next. Finally when Starscream landed on the surface he'd find a place that looked like the members where hardly there. What were obviously temporary accomodations and structures had been set up. They obviously weren't here long and didn't seem to plan on staying long either.

A woman, around 180cm or 5'11", walked up to the enjoined Decepticon... "Starscream of Borg, nice to meet you. I am Project Manager, Alise. Welcome to the planet." she spoke in friendly tones, "If you would follow me, we'll get this we'll get the transaction completed."

She turned and walked away... expecting Starscream to follow.

All business. Looks like we're getting away with it. Starscream followed, glad that the door in the prefab building was large enough to accommodate his frame.

As they entered the pre-fabricated building, they would notice 2 men standing to what seemed attention at the back of the building there was nothing in particular that they were guarding however up the other end was what looked like a portal of somekind, a gateway to somewhere else.

"The sunstone is on the otherside of this portal for security reasons the portal will only open once and close down once you;ve passed through. Follow the path and you will find the location where the sunstone is. The gateway, if you wish will open once you have retrieved the sunstone and returned. Any questions before you go?"

As you might guess that's why we are putting in these measures for security sake. Oh, and by the way, do you know what happened to Captain John and his ship? We haven't been able to get in contact with him."

Her expression changed for a moment, a twinge of concern as she pondered what might have happened to the captain.

thirty minutes earlier...

peyton arrived on the planet and was immediately thrown head over heals into a cliff which breaks.

petra: awwww whats the matter? you don't seem too happy to see me. (she floats in the air and crosses her legs) I would think you would be thriled to see someone sooooo close to your heart. (she smiles at her little joke)

peyton: (brushes herself off)your not close to my heart. your out here in that body instead of locked away (peyton races at petra) LIKE YOU SHOULD BE! (and hits her. petra flies backwords but lands on her feet)

petra: COME OOOON! I know your better than that my better half. you can't possibly be arrogant enough to think you can seal me if all you throw are baby punches. and sealing you wouldn't be to nice if you have all those seals on you. (dashes towards her grabs her by the arm and throws her hard. peyton hits the dirt making a small valley in the ground).

peyton crawled out of the trench and looks at her counterpart in disgust. she could not believe that that...that thing had come out of her. her evil side looked at her smiling wickedly. peyton had kept her real power a secret from her brothers. this was not the only reason that she had placed seals on her power. the truth was that she feared the power. she could not control it completely. she also feared that she was not ready to wield it. however, now she would have to risk using it as well as take the chanse of giving away her secret.

peyton: release power and ability seals.

datavice:acknowledged. obtaining soul confirmation. confirmation confirmed. releasing seals. (a ring of enegy that looks like a bar code as well as a complex magic circle comes from her and expands out. all of the rings and circles then shatter) seals relesed

Without waiting for a response, he turned and walked through the door.

"Alright, boys and girls," Falsus said, "send it!"

zero comes over and hits megaman upside the head.

megaman: what was that for!

zero: "your loud"

they to argue in a comical way in the background

X: (facepalms then sits down and starts to work at his termnal the datavice is streaming and processing the information) "what he is trying to say is that there are no true schematics. we could give you the stuff that was added over time, such as the storage abilities, information streaming, databades, stuff like that. but I don't even think that Ross fully understands the things. each datavice is different depending on the wielder, his emotions, and his level of power. the thing is formed using the subjects soul itself. it can read emotions, maturity, inner strength, and other obscure things. It the core of it is based off of something Ross found long before he began recruiting people. he basically copied it and modified and enhanced what he could. he then added stuff. basically, understanding the fundamentals of the device would be like trying to understand ones heart. actually, that is exactly what it would be.

we can talk about sharing tech later though. we tend to restrict most of our tech to contractees. we don't want the wrong technology falling into the wrong hands. that is why it is all contained in the datavice. it detects if you are evil and shatters. also, if you are unwilling, it will shut down and the contract will be considered broken. it will only reactivate if you are willing. not that you would use it wrong, but a million years from now, you as a race, could turn bad. if it's not protected properly, then we would have given you a head start on the tech. we will see what we can do though. I am sure that there is plenty that we can give you that can't be used for evil purposes. but thats not something for us to decide, nor is it something to agree upon so fast.

OOC:before I go spouting nonsense, what is a subspace twister? is it intended to hurt him or keep him still? also trading of tech can come later. contracts, as implied above, are on a will basis. basically, if you contract, you can get out of it. it also takes only a few seconds but will seem to the subject to take longer. if you do decide to contract at some point, try to let it be starscream. if not, then you may have to tell me a bit more about the individual person.

"Of course," Falsus said, noting with humor that they had said it was difficult for one such as himself to understand...himself. In the New Borg Collective, where deception was impossible, one understood everyone else's opinion of oneself, and could base one's own opinion upon a vast sampling. He also noted another contradiction.

"It seems to me, he said, "that the arrogant little super-alien had one of those devices, and, forgive my pointing this out, but she did not precisely seem to be good to me."

----------------------------

OOC: A subspace twister is a colloquialism for a space density alteration system. If you sufficiently increase the density of the space around an object, the object cannot travel through that space. It's like an invisible barrier. This is meant to restrain, but not to harm, Unicrom. What Falsus is planning to do is imprison Unicrom in a three-sided pyramid of space (this being the minimum necessary number of points to contain a 3D object).

There is a weakness to the device (those who know me know that there is always a weakness to my devices). The points of the pyramid are the emitters. Although the surface area of the emitters within the pyramid is tiny it is not infinitesimal. An extremely, extremely well-placed shot can disrupt one of them, causing the entire setup to temporarily collapse.

She paused, taken aback by something that Starscream said, the portal activated for a moment as Starscream ploughed through. He was on the other side of the portal which shutdown almost as soon as he stepped through.

He found himself not that far away in space terms, perhaps if someone did a thourough scan and sweep of the systems they would find the planet.

Starscream found himself in an open field full of flowers, swaying in the breeze it was idylic but he didn't have time to stay and smell the flowers. A cook look around there was a cave uphead... That must be where it was.
[NS]Dastardly Stench
12-01-2008, 20:24
A quick sensor scan told Starscream that the towers, while in a sense appealing to behold, were empty. Their purpose had long since been served. In a way, this was disheartening. Yet, it was another's purpose, and held little meaning for the New Borg.

Arming his weapons and activating his subspace shielding, Starscream walked, slowly and deliberately, scanning his surroundings, into the cave.

Falsus laughed. "So much for mechanical security," he said.

"You now have all the data you requested," he continued. "If you need help with any physical modifications, I am at your service. You will find that I am capable of some things that no other in this room can do." As he spoke, he extended his left arm, and rotated the mechanical hand two full rotations -- something that no organic hand was capable of. Marionetonia
14-01-2008, 07:01
Something bothered Starscream. It wasn't the bullets, either. The few strays that managed to ricochet in his direction bounced harmlessly off of his shields. No, the thing was, why was someone using technology like that to guard something as advanced as the power source he was after? It didn't make sense.

Nonetheless, Starscream had a use for the stuff. The New Borg had a policy against absorbing sentients--it said nothing about lifeless firearms. The metal in the gun would make a good addition to his reserves, once his nanoprobes gobbled it up.

Checking carefully for sensors or other traps, Starscream made his way over to the gun and not ungreedily extended his absorption tubules.
The Garbage Men
14-01-2008, 07:25
There were no traps trapping the trap that was set to trap the unwary and unprepared. Should someone fall to such a trap they would not be worthy to see let alone touch the stone. The machine gun withered away as Starscream absorbed the metal.

Should he move on he would come to something weird. A checkerboard, black and white alternate squares in an 8 x 8 configuration. As he approached it lit up with a light that seemed to come from inside the squares themselves.
[NS]Dastardly Stench
14-01-2008, 17:25
Good thing he'd absorbed the extra metal. After being absorbed, he had been exposed to the games of several cultures that used boards configured as this one was as their playing surfaces. The "lights" were actually sensor dampers, and, as they powered up, they prevented Starscream from assessing the threat of the "checkerboard" directly.

No matter. Using the metal from the gun, Starscream forged a small probe--about ten centimeters tall. This he placed on the white square just to the right of center--the board was configured as a proper terran chess board, with a white square in the near right corner.

-------------------

OOC: and I suck at chess, too...but I know that one...

------------------

IC:

Slowly, the probe began to roll forward. If it failed--and probably even if it didn't--he would produce another probe that flew.
The Garbage Men
15-01-2008, 02:58
As soon as the first probe touched the ground the square it sat on turned red. Almost immidiately the whole board crackled with electrical energy as the metal melted.

It formed into the words "It's easy as pie" before running away off the board into some collector somewhere. It eminated a "ding", and so the second flying probe went on, It flew easily over the first and second rows, but as it entered the third row, exactly the same thing happened to the first one.
[NS]Dastardly Stench
15-01-2008, 05:48
Before he was going to play "read the mind of the creator," Starscream had one more OTHER card. Chess, a game played on a board much like this one, was at one time a rather exact simulation of war on in the time and place where it was played. In many a chess game, it was the player's weakness that he attacked so furiously as to forget his own defense. Likewise, the creators of this game may have been so enthralled with the firepower of his quaint (and decadently wasteful) little game that they did not bother to defend it.

Starscream charged his weapons and, carefully choosing a charged-particle blast (this would have to move through the air, and would thus be slow enough that he could get his shields up between the time he shot it and the time it hit (or missed) its target), fired directly at the chess board. Even if there was something there that deflected the blast back upon its initiator, with considerable amplification, this would cause Starscream no harm.

-----------------

OOC: I pointed out earlier that the new Starscream is smarter and more calculating than the old one. He has time and he knows it. He's not going to play games if he can find a quicker way. (I sympathize with him. I hate playing "read the mind of the game maker," too.) :) :) :)
The Garbage Men
15-01-2008, 12:22
The charged particles struck one of the squares on the chess board and the light that was around that square went dark , none of the rest of the board seemed to be affected. What more with the sensory dampeners cut Starscream could detect thousands of nano-machines embedded in the system. It seems that they are repairing it.

The cracked surface which was a result of the damage taken to the 'square' started to repair itself.
[NS]Dastardly Stench
15-01-2008, 21:26
Starscream marked the time that the square took to repair itself. He prepared another rolling probe--one that moved fairly rapidly. Careful to watch his energy settings, he blasted a path straight across the checkerboard and set the probe on its course.
The Garbage Men

It took 5 seconds for the square to repair itself and one of the first things that were completely repaired was the sensor dampener hiding the true processes of the square.

The probe got all the way through to the last square before one again the square turned red melting the probe with the showy effect. The metal was temporarily re-shaped into the same words while a third ding sounded. "It's easy as pie"

"Hmmmm," thought Starscream, "4.7 seconds to self-repair." It struck him as odd that, out in the middle of Planet Nowhere, there would be a puzzle that hinged upon an Anglish (some had the arrogance to refer to it as "galactic standard," but Starscream knew better) idiom. Still, Starscream knew next to nothing about the culture that had created this high-IQ idiot's dream date. And the message brought up as more questions than it answered. WHAT's as easy as pie? Getting through the board's defenses? Destroying anything that tries to go through it? Was it a play on words, perhaps? Hmmmmmm...

He made another wheeled probe. This one, he programmed to go forward and then stop. Three squares, then one, then four, then one. That would get it off the board, while using the first four digits in the mathematical constant known among the Terries as pi.

He set the probe rolling.

Starscream was almost out of metal. The probes had been as light as he could make them, and this had helped.

This was the last probe he could make. If it didn't work, he was going to have to start blasting and take his chances. This one was programmed to navigate the thin border around the edge of the board.

Setting it carefully to keep it from touching any of the playing squares, he let it go. He hoped that it would be allowed to use the left side. The clues had made no mention of which direction to follow.

The probe managed to cling to the side of the chess board, an area where there was no squares. The area was small but if you could manage to slink around you would be fine.

Unicron- 45 minutes ago
____________________________
the stone come out of tgm ship through a hole created by petra. it floats towards unicron and taps against him. it then starts to be "absorbed"

Rooooooooar!!!!!

unicron shakes

megatron:starscream! status report!

HH starscream: unicron is not obeying orders! we're losing control!

megatron:then get him back under control!

HH starscream: nothings responding! he's waking up!

megatron:MUST I DO EVERYTHING MYSELF!?!?!

he throws starscream from his chair and looks at the readings himself. he was suprised to find the same readings he had gotten earlier in addition to a great deal more data than he had found earlier. apparently, unicron had absorbed the small stone that was on the ship with the foolish captain and that little green puddle of shit that followed him around.

how interesting that he would be able to get revenge on them for kicking him off of his ship using the very stone that they had denied him. whats more, certain defenses had been activated. defenses that were meant to imprison powerful entities. it was obvious now that the stone had important connections with a deity. especially seeing how it was now trying to break out in an intelligent and powerful way.

it might have succeeded in mere moments had it been the main stone. but it was apparent that the little stone was only linked to the main one. it appeared that the entity had some control over unicron. rather than head towards the nerby planets and devour them, unicron was traveling elsewhere. prehaps it was going to the main stone.

megatron laughed. if that were the case, it would be it's own doom. if it grew in power enough to become a real threat to the seals, vira would become aware and route more power to her spells thus taking the large stone as well. had it been all at once, it may have stood a chance, but if it gradualy grew in power like it would as it approached the new location, it would leave plenty of time for vira to detect it.

of course, if the entity proved to be a demonic overloard, they would gladly release it.

megatron: all hands prepare to move, unicron should be transforming soon and when he does, the control center will not exist. prepare for combat and signal sidious to do the same. I'm sure that prime and his compainions will atack soon.

It was too small. Starscream would never fit in such a confined space.

He had a choice: he could suffer the death of a thousand cuts or...

...back to plan A.

The people who had devised this little gizmo had been tricky, but they were no warriors. This was evident in the device's poor defense, slow self-repair and lack of a multi-layer strategy. It was time to exploit these weaknesses.

4.7 seconds to repair. Quite a lot of time, actually, when you're dealing with something that's got a jet engine on its back.

The former Deceptacon transformed into his jet mode, blasted a path across the board, and then hit the afterburners. Continuing to fire salvos as he want--to suppress the self-repair mechanism--he made it across in only 1.9 seconds--slow and careful. His tires were a little warm, but he was none the worse for wear.

Contemptible weasels, he muttered to himself as he transformed back into robot mode.

"We're out of time, Prime," Falsus said. "We have to activate now or Unicrom will breach containment and those planets will all be as good as gone!" Falsus had a strange voice--not deep, but sharp and powerful. Something in it seemed to demand respect.

And so Starscream got through the trap, as he went deeper into the cave, he came to a door.

It was perhaps more of a bulk-head-type sealed bunker door than anything. On the door was a plaque, which changed itself so it could be read by anyone who approached.

The Plaque simply read "Press Any Key to Continue", there were 3 buttons visible.. they read. "A Key" , "Not a Key", "Some Key"

OOC: Plan A was to hold Unicrom in that humongous force field and zap out that power source with a matter transporter. You're opting for a more direct, involved attack. Things will end more quickly your way, but there will be more casualties.

-------------------------

OK, Starscream thought, they're even more arrogant than I am. They make these huge, ornate puzzles and don't even bother to account for the fact that other life forms might have different configurations from their own. Standing three stories tall, Starscream put the proof to that one.

Alright, let's play their foolish little game. He was too large to press anything on that fool's contraption in front of him, but he had enough metal for one more probe. He made a glider, and tossed it--VERY gently--into the plaque, the only place on the door where the words "any key" occurred.

---------------------------

It was a small but lightly armed shuttlecraft that they allowed Falsus into. It took him a moment to get used to the controls, but, with the help of the collective, he settled right in.

"This is your captain speaking," Falsus said, a hint of humor playing in his voice, over the intercom. "All systems appear fully charged and functional, and, considering that no bombs have gone off, the weather isn't too balmy--yet. Our flight plan takes us to the Land of Great Danger and back again. Please enjoy your trip and thank you for flying New Borg Spaceways."

Oh, joy. The little geniuses' tests are over. Now, for the real test--getting the thing out of here without destroying the whole planet. Actually, that might be fun--if I wasn't standing on it.

Starscream had to ratchet his shielding up a notch just to stay comfortable.

Well, he thought, peering in through the doorway, might as well get a look at how they keep the thing at bay.

-------------------------

OOC @ GM: Description of room and method of storage, por favor.
The Garbage Men
21-01-2008, 02:36
The sunstone was encased in a 4 x 4 x 4 m cube room, some of hard crystal layered the walls of what otherwise was a dull grey metal, must but massively thick to prevent the energy readings Starscream was getting.

The sunstone was simply cradled in amungst 4 wires of rusted metal, holding it above a simple platform. There didn't seem to be anything connecting to the stone and it was simply there, free for the taking.
[NS]Dastardly Stench
21-01-2008, 07:02
There was still the probe.

Starscream used the metal from it to fashion small wheels, which he installed on the platform--he found that he could reach his arm into the room, and that, with shields on maximum, stand up to the energy output of the sunstone. He also found that the platform itself provided enough shielding for the metal of the wheels to remain intact.

After that, he simply wheeled the sunstone, platform and all, out of the room.

As he continued down the hall, the rock surface began to glow red with heat and show signs of melting. Good thing he was only passing through. The sunstone also had a miraculous effect on the checkerboard. Let's just say that, by the time it was wheeled through, there had been a final checkmate. Starscream, of course, looked on at this with satisfaction. Finally, he got near enough to the doorway back that he could send a message through. It was a bother, working with these new ethics of his, but, in end, he decided that it would be worth it to continue the facade of a paying customer.

With the sunstone still far enough away to be safe, he walked up to the portal until it opened.

"Starscream to Garbage Men Operatives. I've got the merchandise," he sent ahead over a standard comlink frequency. "I doubt, however, that it will be safe for...you to be near it when I come through. I recommend removing any items that you wouldn't like burnt beyond recognition--and that includes the buildings that you set up before I arrived. Please respond when ready. Over."
The Garbage Men
21-01-2008, 14:19
"We are ready, proceed at will." Was the response that he got, On the other side of the portal there were all manner things waiting for him. Apparently this last phrase before leaving tipped those that were there off that things weren't going as how they had planed the operation going.

They had managed to gain the evidence they needed to apprehend Captain John and Captain Jacobson for Treason, and with the evidence for Starscream for fraud.

Should Starscream go through the portal he would find a whole manner of weaponry there aimed at him, behind protective barriers that theoretically should protect them from the energies of the Sunstone.

Proceed at will? Something's not right.

No matter. What are they going to do, try me for fraud? If they do, I'll just deliver the goods I promised and end their little charade. It'll be easy enough--I know how to access the subspace portals. Falsus will get so mad that he'll be a better energy source than this sunstone, but it won't be the first time his hot little temper has flared up. I'll even end up with a nice little toy for my efforts.

Starscream pushed the sunstone through the portal.

"Thanks, boys," the tiny Borg leader said. "Let's finish the job." Falsus hadn't been game, he'd been all business. He'd used his ship to draw enemy fire while the others played "ball." He'd moved into formation with X, who was handling himself like a death-crazed Klingon, and used the constant energy blasts as covering fire. He'd taken a hit on his port engine, however, when one of those cursed Sith had managed to use his extrasensory powers to get a lock on Falsus' ship from an impossible distance.

The collective, of course, was screaming at him. He shouldn't be putting his neck on the line, they told him. He'd replied that they could always rebuild him from the archives if they had to, though he knew that it wouldn't be the same.

The truth was that this whole thing offended him. Unicrom was more than just a danger to the universe, he was a challenge to every civilization he came across--and Falsus rose up to his challenges. Even that evil superbeing, he noted grimly, had felt the sting of his anger.

It was a steeled, veteran and very battle-ready Borg who, smoke trailing from his engine, joined Ross' followers at the "opening" that they had manufactured after, to his surprise, they brought up the subspace twister and caught the lumbering behemoth in a restraining field.

Now, they'd have to maintain that field, and, given that there were psychonauts involved, that could present a challenge.

The next step would be to reinforce Q-bert. He was the weakest power source in the lot--and anybody with even the most rudimentary sensors would know it.

Starscream's smile grew even wider. Yep, a good, ol' fashioned scrum. Did they really think that this was the first time he had stared down the barrel of someone else's rail gun? If so, they were woefully mistaken.

"Say? I'm not convinced that you're willing to listen--but don't let that stop you. Keep those little pop guns of yours pointed at me as long as you like. I'll never so much as point one of mine at you.

"Mine are all pointed at your little trinket.

"Now," he said, his voice darkening, "you can put down your little pea shooters and we can talk civilly about a little condition that I put on the sale or...we can let our weapons do the talking and see who can make the biggest mess." His voice lightened again. "My money's on...me!"

He laughed vilely. He could deliver the purchase price he had named right there on the spot--but he thought it would be too much fun to watch them squirm a little. It was only fitting payment for the audacity they had shown in daring to point guns at him, after all.

He had another plan, though. He was going to tell them that he wanted a demonstration of the thing before he would buy it. He'd get them to use it to restore this Captain of theirs whether they wanted to or not. Then, he'd tell them that something was wrong with the readings and give it all back to them. They'd still be getting a good deal--he had sprung all the traps for them. They would be free to cart the little monstrosity off wherever they chose.

There was a laugh from somewhere, it was a woman's voice "alright, enough. Weapons down."
"but..."

was the response from one of the soldiers aiming a weapon at Starscream, "no buts" the reply was short and to the point but also it at the same time carried an air of authority, she was in charge and she wasn't letting anyone forget that.

Though he delayed a bit, a bit too long. She pressed a button and he went and exploded. "Anyone else going to dis-obey a direct order?" Soon the weapons where deactivated and not a single one was now being pointed at him.

"Good. Me and this Starscream are going to have a little chat, a PRIVATE chat."

He followed her into the side room, thanking the powers that be that the door was large enough to accommodate him. He knew that he was giving up access to his greatest weapon, but he figured that, if push came to shove, he could take at least one VIP with him. That would have to be enough. There was no transfer of technology and in essence they are trying to say that Starscream has paid for the sunstone when he hasn't.

The large sunstone is about the size of a largish dog's body(minus head, neck and legs), the small stone is about the size of a SIM card for a phone or computer chip.

She waited and pondered where this could lead, if indeed this was a plan that would benefit both then surely it was something that she should listen too. She also had to determine what to do about John and Jacobson.

"Actually, if you were in my shoes what would you do in regards to Captain John and Captain Jacobson?"
[NS]Dastardly Stench
26-01-2008, 20:57
Starscream looked down at the woman. She was asking him what to do?

As he thought about it, he realized that he had come to his answer without thinking. This did not surprise him. What surprised him was what that answer was--it was as unlike a Decepticon answer as anything he had ever said. But it was tempered by his experience. He had grown. Still, he knew that it was tinged with lessons that some might not want to hear. He was still as cynical as ever.

"Quite frankly, I think you already dropped the ball. When you told this Captain John of yours that you weren't going to get him out of a situation that he found unacceptable, you as much as invited him to break your laws. You created a criminal with your foolish little rules.

"But you compounded the problem. You let the word get out. You tried and convicted him before you could cover up your mutual foolishness.

"I'm going to offer you a way out. I didn't provide the agreed upon purchase price, this is true. This is not to say that I cannot or that I will not, however. For the sake of argument, let's just say that, as I mentioned earlier, I, in private negotiations, placed a little condition upon the sale.

"You will recall that, upon examining your offer, the physical scientist/engineer in my team pronounced your little energy source as too risky to buy at any bargain of a price. I wanted to make sure that it would work before I would be willing to let an exploitive race such as yours have technology that would enable it to, shall we say, extract salvage from remote points of the universe. Therefor, I made a simple addendum to the deal: I'd spring all the traps and get the device for you. Then, you'd use it as an energy source to restore this Captain of yours and his ship to their proper proportions--with me running full scans on the device during the process. IF it worked and IF I was satisfied with the readings, I pay your price and complete the sale. If not, I go home and you get to keep your energy source with all the traps still sprung and you able to use it as you wish.

"Now, for the kicker." Oh, Falsus is going to love this one. "You say that you want your Captain John to be punished for his supposed crimes. I believe that I may have something suitable for you. As you know, we, the New Borg, do not absorb the unwilling, we enjoin volunteers. We can also enjoin temporarily, reversing the affects of the enjoinment at the end of the term. This can even be set down in contractual form. I would suggest that you offer your automaton Captain John a simple choice: a term of enjoinment or the scrap heap. This conveys to you the additional advantage that, when he returns--should he choose to undo the enjoinment at the end of the term--he will have detailed knowledge of us, our culture and our technology.

"Are my terms acceptable?"

I should've been a diplomat. The pay is better, too.

She kept quiet as Starscream described his plan, all the time she closed her eyes and just tapped her top lip with her right pointer finger, a strange quirk. After a couple of minutes she laughed "Okay, You have yourself a deal, but come on we both know what you are going to do, shall we just ask Captain John now? or do you want to go along with this facade?"

OOC: He's the New Starscream--turned to good, but still with that lingering aura of evil. He's also smarter than he used to be. He still has his Decepticon's lust for battle, but now he's not afraid to die. This is why, when the Garbage Men, realizing that he hadn't paid for his booty, tried to bring weapons to bear on him, he had already developed THREE back-up plans. First, he knew that the sunstone he was wheeling around was more dangerous than any weapon that the Garbage Men could bring to bear on him. All he had to do was blow it up--and that wouldn't be hard. Yeah, he laughed. He laughed at the Garbage Men for having the gall to think they could out gun a Decepticon. But he's not a Decepticon any more, so, instead of setting the thing off right there and then, he negotiated. Second, he claimed that he'd put a condition on the sale--which tied in with Captain John's predicament. Made the whole thing sound downright legitimate. Third, he had the information that he had promised to trade. He could just pay the price and get the sunstone--though he didn't really want it.

IC:

"Let's maintain the facade," Starscream said, his smile deepening. "It will give the the more neuronically challenged members of your little clique something to preoccupy themselves with--and you could well benefit from the readings that we take." I'm surprised that she didn't want those readings. Maybe she knows more than she's letting on. I'm curious as can be about that thing, anyway. It was my CPU that almost got fried procuring it.

OOC: I forgot that X stayed with the ship. lets just say that he stayed. lets just say that megaman flew to the outside of the force field along with half of the soldiers before it was activated. also, for clarification the people in our party: falsus, optimus, zero, hotshot, luke, and aniken (forgot to add him in earlier) anakin. do we have borg soldiers with us too? I supose that we can just say that cybertron and the amazonians ran off after the petra atack or something. really wish they would have RPed themselves out instead of just abandoning it.

mahoro: (speaking into a microphone on the ship)this is mahoro of world haven. members of the group I represent spoke with a representative of yours named captain john regarding a certain product. please send us your comunication frequency. we are communicating publicly at the moment and many of the matters we wish to discuss should not be public. (turns off mike)

it would be nice if we could locate johns ship and talk with him. we already have his frequency. the problem was that their energy signature had shrunk. they were at the power level of a a small animal making them very hard to trace.

the group continued to fight their way through towards unicrons spark chamber. as they went along less soldiers accompanied them. normally they would have helped defeat the small fries before moving on, but they were pressed for time. the lesser fighters would have to fend for themselves. they were four fifths of the way there

zero had a bad feeling. their was something about how things were going. he couldn't put his finger on it though...

(epic orchestrated battle music with a chorus begins to play)

peyton dodged left then right then began to block a series of slashes befor taking a hit.

petra: is that the best you can do? please tell me your better ... than ... THAT (she slams Peyton to the ground.) when we become one again, I whan you at your best. I want to barely win this fight. it's not worth it if i don't become twice as powefu- (peyton springs up from the ground and hits her. for just a second, the scenery changes. the ground is a large magical circle with many ancient inscriptions in it. the surroundings are pitch black nothingness except for a gigantic door that is closed. this vision is very short and transparent) so, it's already to that point eh. perhaps you do have a bit more in you.

peyton: I'm don't care if I become more powerful by defeating you. I just want you gone you are me so I'ts like I am the one hurting everyone.

it was true. she had been having realistic nightmares about hurting people. it was obvious that she was having visions of what her other half was doing. vira had nearly taken over once because of a mistake she had made. when it had happened, vira had tried to forcefully corrupt her. she had fought her bad side at that time. all people have both sides in them, most never are aware of what they keep locked away. on that day, she had not only become aware of it, but had had it removed and made into a physical being. now, whoever won would become the new peyton. peyton attacked...

OOC: No Borg Soldiers in the boarding party. The Borg are the ones maintaining the lion's share of the containment field.

IC:

Three tentacles came out of the cylindrical wall of the tube Falsus was in. He waited until they had reached full extension, then hit them with a good old fashioned disruptor. They clattered off into the distance, writhing.

It was almost as if the local defenses were nonexistent--and Falsus was like a miniature cyclone as he weaved his way through the tunnels, breaking, gutting and generally flattening everything in front of him, and leaving a wake of mayhem. Shoulder-mounted blasters supplemented the disruptor in his left arm and the graviton lens in his right. Still, there was a strange, fearsome order to his actions--as if he had thought through every obstacle before he encountered it. Then, when he heard his compatriots talking, he slowed down for a moment.

"Now that you think of it, that's a good idea," he said to Zero. Omigott, you still there? He broadcast over the standard frequencies, so that the people he was with could hear him even though he did not speak.

Got you loud and clear, youngster.

Good. Get in touch with Starscream. We need a status report.

Will do!

The Borg turned back to Zero. "Is it just me," he asked, "or do you smell a trap, too?"

"Captain John is unavailable at the moment, if you would please leave your name and contact details we'll be sure to pass them on as soon as we can. Thank you and have a good day."

A cheery voice answered, it was an AI but it was hard to tell from the vocal synthesisers, it was clear that he was out of contact for now, while they couldn't trace Captain John anymore, perhaps they could try and locate the Sunstone?

Meanwhile for starscream...

"Makes things easier and less complicated... alright. I presume you can give me a read-out about the stone from your sensors?"

"Either way, we're down here, time to make the announcement, but remember I'm in charge here, you follow me, this is my show." You could see that she wanted to be domineering even to the point of poking Starscream with each word that was emphasised, she didn'y, but she did let her eyes and the tone do the poking for her.

She arose and left the makeshift building "We have come to an arrangement, we will demonstrate the power of the stone which afterwards, after a satisfactory performance a final decision will be made as to the acquiring of the sunstone, and finally as a punishment Captain John may be sold as a slave.

These are what we agreed and all terms will be met."

She looked back at Starscream and winked, she needed to sell it to her crew and it seemed to have worked. So much so infact that the nearby Captain John who had been relocated close-enough to Starscream to work entered in a private encrypted digital chat with him. "Is that right?! I'm going to be a slave?!"

Starscream smiled at the woman again. Politics, politics, he thought. I'll be glad when I'm out of this mess.

He turned to Captain John. Not quite a slave--more of an ambassador, or, if you will, a 'try before you buy.' We're talking about a term enjoinment. His evil chuckle was almost audible. I do hope you brought something to read. The tedium could get a bit annoying. But you'd better make your friends believe that you're a slave, or you might end up as a trash compactor--or in one.

okay, almost anything sounds better than staying around here.

The crew were quiet for a moment, before applauding apparently they didn't pick up on the maybe's or perhaps they trusted their leader. Whatever it was they would obey her commands. (The threat of being exploded did wonders in that way)

"We can do the test in here." She directed Starscream to a building to their left

"Bring the Captain John in there, and we will conduct the tests on him." she said and they cheered and so he was brought in there, The sunstone was also to be bought in all that was required was starscream, and to initiate the stone... somehow.

Starscream went where he was instructed.

Time to assume the position, he thought, using up a phrase he'd learned from the fleshies in the collective.

Mahoro (on mic): guys! we got a answering machine!

prime: it's ok mahoro, it looks like the borg have contact with them. now, whats this about a trap?

zero: can't put my finger on it, but for some reason, it feels like a trap.

at that moment, unicron breaks his restraints and continues his transformation.

aniken: looks like we don't have much time, looks like we have to spring it.

luke: always have to live on the wild side don't you?

unicron shudders and roars.

prime: aniken's right. we don't have time to hesitate.

hotshot: looks like were winging it

a brightly lit chamber looms ahead...

Everything was prepared and set, Captain John was brought before the stone, no one had any idea what to do next.

"So.. um.. I'll just tap it... and..." that was the last thing she said as she tapped the stone, something remarkable happened the stone shone extremely brightly, so much so that there was only white, no colours at all.

Starscream would find himself with Captain John somewhere, he didn't touch any ground, nor was their any there, the whole area was just brilliant white with nothing in it. Apart from Starscream, Captain John and three individuals who looked like triplets. They walked together as a group, though without there being any ground to do so upon.

"Welcome to nowhere, Starscream and Captain John. You have questions I'm sure. Such as who are you, what are we doing here and what's going on."

"We can't really give you an answer to the first one, your CPUs or Brains could not properly process it, You are here as an act of mercy, the others that were around you are now gone. You are outside of time and space, outside of the universe, outside of the multiverse, outside of everything, yet we are inside the Sunstone."

"How can we be outside of everything and yet inside the sunstone, and what about recursion... Don't ask we couldn't properly explain it to you, the sunstone is as powerful as it is because it is everything that exists and doesn't exist."

"Don't try to apply your understanding of physics, it is flawed and the sunstone is impossible in many aspects. An inter-dimension transducer, a good guess for your understand but still so far from the truth."
