OOC: Don't worry, this will be one of the only times I utilize them.
IC: The arrows bounced off the dragon's armor and hard scales, sending the arrows back to the archers. Four dragons, two with Riders, two without. A black one, a red one, a white one, and a blue one. The Black and Blue were mounted by Elite Xiscapians. Each dragon shot flame into a different portion of the army, while the riders used their bows to take down troops. One Rider bewitched her bow and fired, the arrow slamming into the ground and making a huge earthquake, though this left her exhasted and forced her to draw power from nature and the enemy troops. As this was going on five Golems (http://www.serialgamer.com/screenshots_jeuxvideo/Shadow_of_the_Colossus/Shadow_of_the_Colossus_29109.jpg), mindless Earth Servants, rose up, about twenty of feet tall. They strode forward, crushing troops benath them and swingin their mighty fists.
OOC: Tell me if that was a bit godmodish.

Slesha awoke on a lavish purple bed in a room suited for royalty. One of the king's advisors was also in the room.
"Good, you have awaken! I have much to tell you. There is a battle going on."
Moments later a messenger appeared outside the palace. He called out. "We beg the mightyKing for assistance, we are surronded by a Dark Army and the Children of Kash, we need assistance immediatly!"

One of the dragons, the white, riderless one, was hit repeatedly by the boulders. He fell, scales cracked and bleeding, the the earth below. The others rose higher and faster to avoid the boulders. On the ground two Golems went down, pieces of them breaking off before being anniliated in a burst of flames. The dragons, from among the clouds, shot strems of flame at the ballistas, setting them on fire. The riders fired arrows which struck with magical waves of heat, spreading fire in all directions around the impact area.

IC: The Golems continiued to wreck the area, smashing everything whithin reach. Another dragon, the blue, was hit, the rock hitting into her neck and smshing out though her spine in a spray of blood and bone. The rider fell off, she struggled though the air then got the wind knocked out of her as the red dragon caught her with it's hands. The dragons retreated, flying lower and spitting a few parting fireballs, leaving the remaining Golems to their destruction.
The advisor turned from leaning out the window, "Do you think you can fight?"
"I can fight well enough"
"Quickly now, we must make our way to the battle then."
The gates of Kar Azulain closed behind the colonn of 500 shadorakian Elites.
At the front rode Azaradel the Warlord. The soldiers had been sent out to capture Agares the Traitor, who had betrayed them and traveled north to help the damned forces of Light in their meaningless fight against the the tide of Darkness. And he had not traveled alone. 300 warriors had followed him. When he was catched, Azaradel swore, he would die in pain. Because of him, the Council had been forced to send out 2000 soldiers. The forces would meet at the border and then begin the search for the Traitor. They had to catch him. It was vital.

The Army sent by King Sardobi arrived at the area they had been told to go to. They spied the massive Dark Army and after being given the order, moved to attack. Powerful catapults and ballistas let loose. The projectiles fired from them exploded upon landing in brilliant flames. The soldiers took up safe positions and prepared for once the enemy came into range of their arrows and other weapons. Hopefully, Ulrimeto would smile on them that day.

Meanwhile, Sarbid could see the approaching signs of battle from the camp and turned to Foxfire and Holly.
"Should we go? I want to feel my blades cutting through flesh and metal again."

A swarm of goblins waved happily from a crevice above the cave entrance, then a troll lumbered into view, carrying a boulder. The goblins released a volley of barbed arrows, and the trolls tossed the bolder towards the soldiers. Kazah tackled Alehkra and held him down in the path of the boulder.

The Xiscapians, well hidden by nature, were mostly unharmed by the lightning, though 2 were killed and a third was badly burned. Dark clouds formed over the battlefield as about 1000 Xiscapian soldiers came out from their cover and attacked. About 100 archers stayed up the mountain as the rest attacked the body of the enemy army. Bezerkers charged into enemy ranks, scattering soldiers and swinging massive swords, protected by heavy armor. Lighter armored, faster infantry soldiers came with katanas, expertly finding weak points and exposed parts in the enemy armor. 100 arrows fired down into the army from the archers. 10 mages were there, they called up a thick mist to cover the battlefield, and it began to rain. Foxfire and Holly came down from their ledge and attacked, firing flaming arrows. Then they drew their swords and attacked.

Dark Army Battlefield...
The enemy was continully harrassed by the small army, but they would not stop. So a wave of 5,000 soldiers and 600 archers came down from the mountain, silently and stealthy. The archers stayed back, firing into the rushing army. The 5,000 clashed headlong with the charging army, scattering imps and going straight for the Dark Eterni, in order to kill the leaders and throw the army into dissarry, and, hopefully, a full retreat.
North Calaveran Battlefield...
Some Xiscapians were killed as they were mobbed by enemy soldiers, but mages did their work and used magic to melt armor and break necks. The calvery came in, trampling enemy soldiers and slicing off heads. Archers continued to fire but now there was a new threat: The catapults. Loaded with rocks, flaming rocks, magical death-potion, and spiked balls, they hurtled death towards the enemy. Foxfire and Holly stood alone in the middle of a sea of foes, using their swords and magic to create a healthy ring around them.
Agares led the 100 soldiers he had been able to gather on such a short time against the north calevarians. More soldiers were on the way, but they would arrive too late. These soldiers were everything he had now. Maybe they would be enough, but he doubted it. But in a way he had given his word, and he held his honour higher than everything else. He rode over the last hill, and there they were, the Xiscapians fighting the north calevarians. He gathered his troops around him and raised the black banner he held in his right hand. The men lowered their lances. "Charge", he shouted. He spurred his steed forward against the enemy.

Recieving updates from Arya, the Kahaz messenger gave a message to the general of the Desert Guard. Reviewing it, he agreed, and the elite branch of the Qurir military split off from the main attack force. 5,000 men strong, they were diverted towards the Dark Army, while the rest of the attack force, 12,000 men, headed for the North Calaveran army.
The normal army, coming from behind the North Calaverans, engaged immediately. Whirling and spinning, their Zekath blades cut men down, while bows harassed their ranks. Explosives and Alchemical tools were thrown in as well. However, once the initial element of surprise was gone, the real battle would begin.
Meanwhile, the Desert Guard took up positions further within the forest near the Dark Army. Their Catapults and Ballistas opened fire, though they were so close now that many overshot their targets. The Desert Guard also opened up with crossbows, armed with exploding and piercing tips. Once the enemy reached them in close combat they would be ready.

Meanwhile, the army that engaged the North Calaverans had taken many casualties, but not enough to halt their attack. After several minutes of attack, 30-50 men had died, mainly in close combat when their whirlwind attacks were halted by magic or a powerful blow. Still, they had the advance. Agares had been thrown away two meters by the shockwave. He raised and shook his head. The man was a formidable enemy. He drew the sword and the stiletto, which he held in the left hand. The prophet had countered magic, so why donĀ“t try with cold steel this time? He made a gesture to one of his men to cover him with his crossbow.

Holly joined Foxfire, they, Agares and his trooper with the crossbow, and Sarbid surronded the Prophet. "You're doomed." snarled Foxfire. "Give up now, and we'll spare you and your mens live's."

Suddenly, as if delivered by Ulrimeto himself, a thought struck Sarbid.
"He's an Avatar." he said to Foxfire discreetly.
"What?"
"An Avatar. Of his God. I can tell. Think about it. He's been doing a lot of powerful magic, yet he isn't even tired, and he was able to take a lot of us on."
Sarbid prepared his blades, knowing that if he was right a tough fight was on his hands.
(OOC: If that seems unfair to come up with, remember that analysis is one of my guys Avatar abilities.)

"Damn." said Foxfire. "This may be harder then I thought."

This was true, his army of 30,000 had been reduced to 10,000.
The Prophet reached into his robe and set down the book of kash on the ground, he then closed his eyes and with a blast of light teleported what was left of his shattered army 10 miles away.

"Did we win?" Sarbid asked, unable to see the enemy any longer.

After listening to reports from scouts and spies, Foxfire nodded. "Yes. They are beyond our boarders. They will be watched, in case of another attack." He began to clean his katana with a blue bloodcloth. "The Dark Army still fights on. However, with the Children of Kash defeated, they may lose heart and retreat." What was left of this army was soon joined by another Xiscapian army of 8,000, they began to march for the Dark Army.
Combat losses so far for both battles:
2 Dragons killed
5 Golems killed
437 warriors killed
12 archers killed
3 mages killed
Total: 449 killed
8,651 total Marching

Sarbid nodded, and after some rest, the Qurir army moved on to.
Losses (Not as bad as I came in late.)
332 Soldiers
13 Archers
30 Alchemists
34 Engineers
Total: 409
Agares gathered what was left of his cavalry troop and followed the Xiscapians. 50 of the original 100 soldiers were still alive. Fortunately, Mephiston and a vampire named Asbeel was coming with a large infantry force of about 2 000 men, which now was only a couple of hours away. Less fortunately, they had reported about a big army of shadorakians clearly not interested in fighting on the good side, led by the infamous warlord Azaradel the Slaughterer, Agares arch-enemy in this world.

The Xiscapian army got to the Dark Army, they hid within the forest. Suddenly darkness fell over the area as 200 giant eagles flew over the Dark Army of 10,000, they began to drop boulders and huge pots of boiling oil. The Xiscapian army jumped out and attacked, split into two forces, one attacking from the right flank(3,000), the second attacking from head-on(5,651). Foxfire attacked with the second army, Holly stayed on the fringes of battle, firing arrows into the mass of Dark creatures. A messanger ran up to the Qurir army. "We have begun the attack, we need your army to move around and attack their left flank, the catapults will be here soon to help."

The messenger immediately translated the message. The bulk of the army that had been engaging the Children of Kash was immediately pulled together. They had been resting in various camps along the battlefield, but were now ready to fight. Advancing through the forest, they came out charging. It is not in a Kahaz's nature to be bloodthirsty, but these soldiers certainly came close to it. They ran out and attacked, slicing their foes to bits. They themselves were cut down right and left, but it didn't matter. Every primal urge of rage and bloodthirst that the Kahaz had surpressed to get to their current state of technological masters was dropped. It was madness, and they liked it.

North Calaveran Battlefield...The Dark Eterni, being intellgient, whipped their slave warriors and set the Inhumi into a shield wall on the exterior lines where they were and surronded their lords with many swords and spear to protect them. The imps, being stupid creatures, were simply whipped the Imps loose, but held the trolls in reserve in order to surrond themselves with their strongest creatures in their army.

The archers easily took out the Imps from range, but the warriors stood at a loss. The archers began to fire their arrows to test the enmies defenses. The mages began to light the arrows on fire, which would burn nearly anything. The warriors stood in a loose line, waiting for orders.
