Haha, oh no, Guam is Terran. The majority of its fleet went south to invade Australia and fought a makeshift Oceanic fleet in the Banda Sea. I took out about half of them but lost just all my guys in the process. So they've landed on my western coast and are pressing into civilian areas while I scramble land defenses. Tong and his guys are engaging Nelson and his team inland. Red Tide is taking the opportunity to hit Guam while its defenses are way down.

Yeah I think I put a driver at the Alice Springs facility which isn't quite optimal in any sense, the main activity is intended to be vertical shuttle and HLV launches. All the runways are for horizontal shuttle landing as well as regular planes. (For instance, if you did an Expedia for L2 from Perth, it might reply with take Pacific Air blah to Alice Springs and take Shuttle foo to L2 :-D) The main reason the spaceport is there is because it's a remote enough area that there can be a large facility, and with space travel there's plenty of volatile stuff which can cause disasters, which makes the remoteness additionally good.

I suppose I could have much smaller, secondary facilities for vertical launch only scattered throughout the Union, which isn't a bad idea. I'll stick one outside of Perth if you want it ^_^ I guess this means Tong is gonna swing west now, so Nelson has to chase after him?

Taken from a badly damaged GM sniper it was heavily modified with added armour and mor thrusters. the addition of the Deamon Hammer 240mm Anti ms sniper rifle and the Ganz 90mm automatic support pistol give it an edge in combat. the traditional beam saber is replaced by a large heat rod. while rugged and efficent it lacks the duribility of the gundams. and with outdate targeting software it takes a great deal of skill to use. It minuverability is second to none though. boasting an enhanced intenal power core. its hawk thrust system gives it the edge it needs in a pinch. no built in weaponsystems. this was chosen because of its extensive jamming and missle defense systems. The merlin was primeraly designed as a hit and run but can also sever well in a hard fire fight.

Right now France is a puppet of the Terran Republic, and the former European Federation was split in half. Not bad, but you'll probably want to work on the military part. Not even the Terran Republic has 20 million mobile suits. But if you mean military personnel, then I understand.

So, one day, Terra decides those Euro sons-of-a-bitches are going down, so they fire a Gundam at Europe, and Scandinavia is like "Shit, shit, who the #@$% is attacking us, launch Gundams!" And Twilight Phoenix is like, "Shit, guys, the mobile suits, they are coming, launch our shit!" "But we are hunnngry." "Well, raid the Suez... THEN LAUNCH GUNDAMS!"

Meanwhile Australia's down there like, "Time to vote on war, mate." Mercs and France were like, "Whatever," and start attacking Germany, so now we have Gundams flying everywhere, fighting in midair. Army of Islam is like "ALLAH ACKBAR!" while Heart of Armageddon get their nukes and are like, "'Bout that time, eh guys?" "Oh yeah."

So Terra was all like, "We are SUCH bad asses," and Australia's still down there going "Did the motion pass?" Now we've got a crazy world war, and Terra's taking hits... 'cept from Australia. They'll be dead soon. #@$% kangaroos.

But if they don't get blown up, they just need to worry about Queensland breaking off of the country. To go hang with Japan. Korea can come too.

From what I've gathered from fighting him, Tong is, as Zeches would say (in his badass deep Milliardo voice, not the lame one from the first couple episodes), a "true soldier." His combat abilities are intense, and the sight of the Jade Panther weaving through its enemies is as beautiful as it is frightening. Like most Beta Terrans, he does have a certain amount of pride and hubris, but he is far calmer against tough opponents than, say, Star (but then again, when it she EVER calm :-D), and in fact relishes the challenge. But he does not fight without honor, and believes it is better for an enemy to bow, defeated, to the Republic than to die a dog's death. Currently he has super secret orders to capture the Oceanic spaceport near Alice Springs and secure its launch facilities for... something... dun dun dunnnnnnnn!

And if you haven't gathered from previous posts, Star is much easier to figure out... she's proud to be a badass Beta but gets seriously pissed off when guys ruin the mission, either by putting up too much resistance or, as Victor recently demonstrated, fighting like an idiot. She's a ball of fairly consistent rage, but the young Scandinavian prince seems to have touched a chord, whether she'll recognize it or not. Perhaps it will be a modern Taming of the Shrew, except in this case the shrew is more like a rabid badger that has somehow acquired and learned how to use a BFG.

Like I said, these are just my impressions. Kratna has the final word.

I could possibly just guide the Australia end for awhile, as whoever takes over for Kratna has to fight about six wars at once. I promise to be good and take damage.

Well I can help with both of those. Germany's government is in support of Terra, but the city of Berlin is the capital of the European Federation that keeps the continent from being divided into a civil war. Now that the Federation's capital is destroyed, they are fighting amongst themselves. What's a Gundam? You should check out this site for more info: http://www.gundamofficial.com/
As for the two sides thing, you can say that France was once part of your country but is now seperated.

'Gundam' is a general term for the strongest mobile suits, or giant robots with guns, fielded by any world military or resistance group, generally possessing stronger armor, weaponry, and mobility than mass production models. Beckett's Virus would be considered a Gundam. They're generally given to elite pilots.

Europe is, for the most part, divided on the issue, and that means that you're kind of stuck with disagreeing neighbors. If anything, that gives you a quick boost if you're just fighting France, since you can pound from two fronts. Once Terrans begin sending aid and mobile suits, then the real fun begins. I would suggest trying to establish ties with Scandinavia as soon as possible in order to get a regional ally, that way the pro-Terran forces face a combined enemy instead of two or more separate ones.

So Gundam as in that show that used to be popular and watched all the time with the Giant Robotic suits.

Just to clear things up not all mechs are gundams. There all classified as mobile suits, a Gundam is usually indicated be its head and V-fin.

I think some one should make a thread with stats on all the different gundams and mobile suits so that it's all together and we don't have to go scrampling all over the OOC thread to find out what wepons a certin type of mobile suit has.

Terrible moaning was coming from the medic tents as men were treated for searing burns of varying degrees, most of them serious. In addition, I will be sedated and unable to make any further IC or OOC posts. I just wanted that to be known since I will not be around for, I don't know how long.

That's pretty ironic since my previous IC post too. It may seem like Jacob died, but never fear. It's all part of something me and Kratna planned out. When I come back, I'm pretty sure a few game days will have passed and I will return in full action with a new gundam too.

Fokudas ass is dead, go onto the seed GENESIS forums out over the over 9,000 members i can tell you 80% of them want to kill him including me. We are lucky seed ends with the seed movie, and that the director of Gundam 00 is the same guy who directed Full metal alchemist.

I have mixed views on 00... the mass-production designs are a departure from the norm (MAHQ FTW), but the move to sleeker mecha has been going for awhile now, and perhaps it will be nice to see Gundam catch up. Though the Zaku clone is a bit bizarre, and there's that one Gundam that looks like the FA Nu. The move to our timeline will probably be more cosmetic than anything, it looks like the world contains the same sort of supernations like in SEED.

On the down side, I'm getting a very Wingish feel from it. Superpowered Gundams fighting on their own against the world, all piloted by bishounen... I REALLY do not want to have to deal with another rush of Gundam yaoi fangirls when what I want is a half-decent giant robot show that produces badass kits :-D

Well, I consider Wing a half decent super robot show (yes, I said super), I'm just hoping the new one tries something new that hasn't been done with Gundam before instead of letting itself get trapped by old storylines and rushed writing. Guy's gotta get some balls and do what Tomino did with Turn A, which is freak everyone the heck out and tell a STORY :-D

Welcome back Kratna. Not much has happened. Victor, Jacob, and Star all got into a fight on Crete, Jacob's Viking Unit is destroyed, and Jacob is suspected to be dead but no one saw him fall out of his mobile suit. I pretty much ended on that note on the day I wrote it since I had to go get my wisdom teeth removed, now I'm back and sorta in top condition.

Okay, so the exploit was issued worldwide. The message would have been received by any active squadrons, and if they are running a vulnerable version of the OS, they go boom. I'd think most of the older units are probably hosed, definitely not as many of the newer ones. Of course, it'll vary from region to region - I'd imagine that with the massive size of the Republic military, some units might have patches others don't because of local configuration, alertness levels, and whatnot. Suits which are inactive are completely unaffected.

In a perfect world, it wipes out your entire army and we win, but of course that's no fun... I'll leave it to you to figure out how much devestation is fair so I don't get called for god modding. Same deal with the worm I just put into your network... it'll slow traffic down for at least few hours and munge data, but not actually destroy anything. At the very least, all this junk I pulled is going to cause more confusion than actual damage, which gives us time to organize something now that we're all finally pulling together.

Although, in his haste, Tom has forgotten to do anything to your space forces or satellite network :-D
