MOON BASE OLYMPIA (GOU Troops(20,000) Post walkers(10): ORBIT DEFENCE: Hades, Hercules, Apollo.

troops busyed themselves settinug up machine gun nests and training for war in the holodecks.

"CONFIRMED FOXFIRE, CO-ORDINATES ARE SET, LET'S GO"

The intercom delivered the message to inform the crew about the impending jump. The Ensign at his console awaited the order from John Reynolds before pressing the button. Upon the nod from his Captain, the button was punched and the Talon vanished out of sight at the same time as the Foxfire

OOC: Nice to see you again, NC. BTW, how many crew is neccissary to man one of your large ships? I ask because I will soon be using my captured ship.
IC: The Foxfire appeared out of hyperspace right where it was supposed to be. A nanosecond scan revealed three NC ships and much activity on the moon. "BATTLE STATIONS!" roared Sor, and the A.I. sent a message to the Talon.
Alert! Hostiles in area, three large ships and a army on the moon. Ready your crews at their battle stations and prepare for advasive action!"

"BATTLESTATIONS!!!" Reynolds bellowed at his Ensigns who quickly punched the red button on the console "SOUND RED ALERT!!!. All over the ship, alarms went off as men scambled over tables and sprinted down the ship's corridors until they reached their positions. The gun decks were prepared as men loaded shells and called orders to each other in the deafening noise.

On the Bridge, John had to shout over the alarms "Evasive action!" the Ensign pulled a lever and let the engine room do the work. One engine was shut off and the other increased so the ship turned in a very tight arc to bring it's guns to bear on the enemy. "Wait for the Xiscapians" he spoke down the intercom "wait for the word"

OCC: 1 if you wanted to(neural link, you could find everything about NC using it.), the rest is just engineers and security personal, the ship is controled by AI, but can be piloted manually. but you need 300 pilots for fighters.

ON BOARD APOLLO

OFFICER: Sir, incoming 2 ships exiting hyperspace...

A.I: ALL PERSONAL RED ALERT, ASSUME BATTLE STATIONS

the three ships bustled with moving men and women.

"All batteries open fire!" screamed Sor. The Heavy, Light, Ion, and AS guns all opened fire on the nearest ship. The A.I. sent a transmission to the Talon. Open fire commrades! Show no quarter, so we can send these bastards back to hell!
OOC: We have a great A.I. Thanks for the info, NC.

OFFICER: Sir, they two vessels have open fire on us, im preparing the ping cannon, i suggest removing all power from engines to shields, and deploying fighters.

FC: Do it..

the fighters howled out of the hangar bay, the engine went completly offline, but were able to boost the shields by another 25%.

OFFICER: done sir.

As laser fire splattered against the shields the battleship deployed it's 15 fighters, 2 gunboats and corvette. A Carrier jumped in-system and deployed 200 fighters and 10 LAM to back them up, then jumped home. The small craft swarmed towards the enemy fighters as the battleship let loose another salvo against the large craft. The A.I. transmitted again:
The NC ship's weapon needs several minutes to charge, we must destroy or capture it before it can fire, as it's energy beam can utterly destroy a small capital ship. If it hits either of our ships it will wipe out our shields and so damage to the ship. If you have any fighters or small craft, now is the time.

"Right! Deploy all Fighters! NOW!" Reynolds screamed at his Ensigns and was greeted by the sound of 100 advanced XX-30's screaming from the hangar, guns and pilots ready. Alversian pilots had a reputation for excellance and they were looking forward to the action. "All Batteries! OPEN FIRE!!" Reynolds roared. The ship suddered as the 4 ion cannons were joined by the AS guns and AA guns. The fire made little headway but then again the first fighters were ready to pierce the enemy's shields.

the 900(combined from the three ships) probe fighters came head on and a fight erupted with the 3 factions. the hades was starting to collapse, due to it already taking severe damage from earlyer.

ON THE GROUND

the defenders began preparing for a invasion if there was one, hundreds of magazines could be heard slamming into there assault rifles.

"327 small craft vs. 900 fighters, 2 capital ships vs. 3 capital ships...not good." muttered Sor. "We need back-up." he transmitted home, and a destroyer, a cruiser, and 300 more fighters lifted off to join the battle.
To the Talon:
Reinforcements are coming. Continue firing on the capital ship.

There was a soft crack as a snipers bullet fired, traveling hundreds of miles an hour towards the man's heart. A Shadow Ops team, 5 troopers, were hiding out in the forest in armor which made them invisable to scanners, tracers, radar, and the human eye. They had been put there as precationary insurance against invaders. Now the investmate was paying off.

Smith fell down holding a hole in his chest:Son of a bitch!: his body armor wasnt enough to stop the bullet but it slowed it down, he started crawling on all fours back to camp.

Another two shots into both the man's legs and a trooper, invisable, hurried out, a knife in his hand as he kneeled to slit the man's throat...

The XX-30's spun and twisted through the AA and fighter fire and they peirced the ship's shields and headed straight for it's weapon systems. Flight Lieutenant Fisher watched in horror as the XX-30 in front of him was blown away, it's wreck crashing into the ship's hull. "Sectons 2 and 4, give us some cover!" he shouted down his intercom. The reply came "Roger!" and several fighters peeled away to come up behind the pursuing NC craft.

The main guns were not far away. Fisher began to focus his concentration on that one target, not even noticing the blasts from another Talon broadside shatter into the enemy's shield. He waited. Waited. He fired. The missiles streaked from his own fighter and the couple that had accompanied him into the breech. He turned and was distressed to see one of the protecting fighters torn apart. Still, he reckoned, the missiles would hit their target and the Alversians weren't doing badly in this battle despite the odds.

Smith went limp, as he passed, he never got a shot off.....

ORBIT

the battle raged on, the probe fighters were now down to 700 fighters, and continueing to only dogfight with the enemy fighters.

The Shadow Ops trooper hid the body and joined the rest of his team, waiting for more targets to reveal themselves...
In Orbit...
The battleship let loose another broadside into the carrier. Fuern, piloting a Shurken class fighter, fixed onto an enemy fighter an let loose with her lasers, causing the fighter to loose and engine and fly into another. Fuern smiled as the fighters exploded spectacularly and said to her squad: "Let's give those Alversian pilots some cover fire." 11 fighters join the Alversians, shotting down enemies.

Fisher positioned himself behind two probe fighters and, using all the skill he had aquirered during 10 years of war, he pulled the trigger. the blasts destroyed the two probe fighters and he turned to look for more targets. He smiled at the sight of his XX-30 pilots in action. Most were veterans of the Korr war and many had fought in the Alversian Civil War and the Morphen war. He himself had progressed from the XX-18 to the XX-24 to the XX-28 to the XX-30. he knew how to handle these machines, like family, so did his pilots. He turned in his cockpit and saw his missiles head straight for the main gun battery he had fired at a few moments ago. Another volley from the Talon erupted and flew straight into the shield. Surely they must be wavering by now...

Kane was in a probe fighter engaging the other fighters, his shields were getting low.

Kane: Squadron, target the combined enemy bogeys, the xscipians are giving cover fire.

OFFICER: Sir, the shields on our ship and the Apollo are down to 30%, our weopon is ready to be used though, were should be target sir.

FC: Direct our fire at the at the xscipian broaside, and fire the Apollo's at the alversian ship, i want to take that ship, charge the transport beams.

the hades starting buckling from the fire, it let out a massive explosion, but it was not close enough to harm either of the sides. it slowly broke apart and floated.


OFFICER: Yes sir, fireing..: the two pings fired at there targets.

OOC: I fired a bunch of AS missiles at Apollo's guns ages ago

Fisher screamed into his radio link "Help the Xiscapians! All fighters to me! to me!" The surviving XX-30's converged behind Fisher and he led them straight into the maelstrom of enemy fighters. The highly agile XX-30's swooped and dodged and fired their blasters while a group of oppurtunistic XH-133's dived until they were level with the gun batteries before launching their devastating payload of missiles and heavy blasters at the guns as yet another broadside thundered from the Talon into the enemy shields.

OFFICER: Shields down, preparing boarding partys and escape partys.

FC: This shouldnt be happening...

OOC: I thought the ping was after I'd blown the living s***e out of your guns

The ship rolled violently as the shot impacted with the shields. The crew of the vessel were flung to the side, apart from one of the engine rooms which was totally destroyed. Captain Reynolds struggled back to his feet "Give the B******s an ion blast followed by sweeping battery fire!" the dazed ensigns followed the commands automatically. The broadside guns in the centre of the ship fired first, followed by the battery beside it until the fore and aft batteries had launched it's shells at the enemy. By this time it's neighbouring guns have reloaded and can fired straight away again. The NC ship would be hit continously by broadside and ion fire.

"Mr Hollander!" Reynolds shouted over the gun batteries and alarms "damage report please!" the young ensign stumbled forward as the floor trembled under the punishing barrage

E and F decks hit, fire damage to bulkheads
Shields Knocked out, although engineers are trying to repair them

Reynolds grimaced, the damage was heavy and casualties high but hopefully so was the damage they were inflicting both with the battleship and the fighters.

OCC: I gtg i might be on later.

OOC: Fair enough, what damage have my CONSTANT attacks done to your ship?

lol, i got no shields now, i say i got 40% percent hull damage to both of the ships, the hades is destroyed.

OOC: Right then

IC:
The XB-110's launched their DPAS missiles straight into the side of the enemy ship, which still traded gunfire with the Talon. The missiles burrowed deep into the enemy ship before detonating, causing more damage than a conventional missile. The XX-30's were also gaining the edge although their losses were heavy, experience and training were paying off. Both for the fighters and the gun crews.

However, knowing when a battle was not worth pursuing, Captain Reynolds signalled the Foxfire to suggest a withdrawal. They had aquitted themselves well but the Talon had suffered quite severe damage and needed urgent repairs

OOC: Been away for too long...
IC: The Foxfire rocked as the mighty blast slammed though the battleships shields and struck the forward part of the ship. On the bridge the Officers and Sor were thrown, the XO's neck snapping as he slammed into a bulkhead. The artifical gravity failed and the crew were floating. "Damage report, now!" yelled Sor. "Sir," said one of the Bridge Officers, Hanger 2 is destroyed, heavy guns 1 and 2 are down, were leaking atmosphere, massive casualties." "Recall our small craft, let's get out of here." Sor got the message from the Alversians. "Affimitive, recall your fighters, our reinforcements will cover our escape." 6 Fighters, 1 Gunboat, and the Frigate flew into the remaining hangers. The half destroyed battleship turned, it's guns firing a last salvo at the apollo before slipping away into Hyperspace. Just then the Cruiser and Destroyer ship and the 300 fighters arrived, firing on the damaged enemy ships. "We've got mop up over here, your free to jump after you've collected your fighters." said the Destroyers captain to the Talon. On the moon a Shadow Ops shuttle lifted off, flying to dock with the Cruiser. The 300 fighters joined the remaining 72 fighters and the 6 LAMs in destroying the last of the fighters as the capital ships fired on the enemy capital ships.

CONFIRMED

The Talon turned much more slowly this time, listing to starboard with an engine out. The fighters were quickly recalled, most appalled by the damage inflicted upon their brand new ship. The Talon wasted no time in jumping into Hyperspace before exiting close to Xiscapia. She was holding but the damage was heavy and so Reynolds ordered all but essential personnel to evacuate and leave the ship, allowing him to bring her in with a skeleton crew.

The Foxfire docked at the Protector for repairs and rearmament. The dead were put in a mourge while the wounded were transferred over to the hospital. If any limbs, ears, or eyes had been blown off they could be cloned and put back on or you could get a mechanical one.

The Talon came into port, with smoke pouring out of her left flank. She was quickly docked and the wounded evacuated to the nearest hospital. Captain Reynolds departed his ship to talk to the Xiscapian C-in-C again to discuss their new enemies.

IC: Krystal was waiting for John. She was seated in the war room. She bowed as he entered, then sat back down. "Honorable Captain Reynolds." she said. "Let me say I am sorry for the loss of life on your ship. One of our Cruisers, a Destroyer, and 300 Fighters are trying to destroy the base and the last of the ships. If no more ships arrive, we will scout for their homeworld and force them to surrender." A holo panel came to life in front of her and displayed 3-D images of Kash, the doctor, one of the walkers, a GOU trooper, a North Calaveran capital ship, and one of their fighters. "These are what we have encountered. The first man is Kash. He was onboard the first ship we captured, we believe his was the captain. This next man is a doctor from the same ship, who confessed to dissecting one of our captured pilots alive. They are being held in our maximum-security facility on Regalis. This next image was taken by one of our probes. It seems to be a assualt walker. As far as we know none have been engaged in combat as of this time. This is a model of what seems to make up the bulk of the enemies force. Some kind of soldier. They use ancient projectile weaponry, which has proven to be vastly unaffective against our SBAUs. The ship is the main ship, which, as you have seen, fires a powerful beam capable of highly damaging or destroying a capital ship in one or two shots. The final picture is of one of their fighters, which seem average. This is all the data we have on their military. It seems that they have come to study us, but quickly turned hostile after their presence was discovered. What are your thoughts on this, Captain?"

Captain Reynolds listened to Krystal for a while before giving his own reply, "Well" he began "In terms of fighter on fighter, the XX-30 and our pilots appeared to have the upper-hand. That is reflected in our kill:loss ratio which is quite high" he smiled "However, in terms of Capital ship weaponry they do appear to have quite an effective arrangement. In terms of ground walkers, we equip them too and feel our own would be equal in combat to theirs" he thought for a second before a shocked expression appeared on his face "They dissected Prisoners of War ALIVE!?"

Krystal nodded. "Yes. Our SBAUs wanted to execute the men on the spot, but I would not allow it. It seems we have the upper hand in this war, as long as none of our troopers fall into their hands."

Captain Reynolds nodded in understanding. Such behaviour deserved execution but fortuneatly, Alversians were brought up not to desire revenge and not to promote hate. What happened on the field of battle though was a different matter.

John thought for another moment before asking another question "Have they...actually given you a reason for any of this?" it seemed absurb to launch a random war on a peaceful nation like this.

"None. They seem to regard us as inferior animals, a common misconception. However, even in chains and surronded by enemies they, from the lowest soldier to Kash himself, exibit a outstanding arrogance towards us. Kash keeps saying things like "I'll put you in a cage myself!" If I didn't know better, I'd say these were demented space scientists."

John shook his head in disbelief "Any fool could see the Xiscapians as worthy contestants for the most un-inferior race in the universe" he thought for another moment "I need to know what they have been doing to your prisoners apart from the...dissections" he shivered "Have they done anything else that would constitute a war crime?" Already eh was seeing what he would tell APNHQ back in Illesia and he could see their responses, especially Jacobi's.

"They have put one of our captains in a holo-grid, which is VR. A women came to him, asking him who he is and where he came from. Aside from the dissection, the prisonars were treated humanly, although multiple prisonars were released and then gunned down, killing an Xiscapian. We have the other species bodies in suspended animation. Some we have had contact with, others are completly unknown. They are avalible for viewing should you wish. Ultimitly I believe that these North Calaverans do not regard any other species as equals, or even intellegent. Just animals to be used and destroyed at their leasure. They have the same kind of mentality as the Choas Warriors, if you have heard of them, who regard all aliens as a plauge which needs to be wiped from the Universe and put humans at the top."

John nodded after the explaination and stood up "Excuse me" he said as he turned for the door "I need to make an After-Battle Report to APNHQ and give them advice on how best to handle this" he walked to the door "I expect their response will be a 100% condemnation and full support in your efforts. Good day" he added before leaving the room. 'boy' he thought as he walked through the streets of Tenfour 'she sure is young to have such an important position. She's half my age! But the Prime Minister and Grand Admiral have always spoken so highly of her. I guess she knows what she's doing' he turned and headed for his own ship.

Krystal bowed as the man walked out. "Very good, Captain." she said quietly. She drew up some battle plans and more data, puzzling over their next move...

The Cruiser, Destroyer, and the fighters still fired mercilessly, seeking either to make their enemy surrender or die.

A message came through for the Commander of the XN C-in-C. An important call was being requested with the Grand Admiral of the APN. Krystal might find an old friend on the other end of the hologram.

The grinning face of Sean Killock popped up on screen. As the first and last commander to enter the Korr War, he knew Krystal well and had reckomended her for the Order of Freedom, which she now carried. "How have you been doin'?" he asked happily, his purpose temporarily forgotten.

Krystal grinned, showing her sharp teeth, which would look hostile but was actually a smile. "Killock! How are you?"

He moved slightly so she could see his vast marble office. He grinned "Grand Admiral of the entire Alversian Navy! How about yourself?" he was glad to see a friendly face. Korr Veterans were becoming less and less common as the years wore on, so it was good to see an old friend.

"Doing well, I see." Krystal said. "I'm still Head Admiral here, after my repeated victorys in the Korr wars. Sadly, we've got another war going on over here. Are you coming to our system?"

Killock nodded "I noticed. I understand you have the APS Talon over there now? Captain John Reynolds? Fine man, excellent leader. We can send you backing but I need to know what exactly is the situation there now"

"Currently we have won two battles and are engaged in a third which looks to be about won. If no more enemy craft show up, then we will search for the homeworld of these "North Calaverans" and force them to surrender. We have captured one of their large ships, a captain, and 200 or so of their soldiers. We have some data on them, and casualties on our side have been relativly light. Right now we simply need some more firepower and large scout/spy ships. We've got enough of everything else, though."

Killock laughed "The mighty Xiscapians don't need the vast Alversian Armies of the Korr War? Very well" he thought for a moment "Would a fleet of a Strato-Dreadnought, 2 Super-Dreadnoughts and a couple of Deadnoughts suffice? The Strato-Dreadnought is APS Illumination. They scrapped the L-Class! Can you believe it!?! Only my flagship remains as a museum" he shook his head at the thought "All those servicemen...anyway, will those forces suffice? I can send a few old XX-24's as well if they're needed. They'll have to be Xiscapian piloted though"

"The capital ships are welcomed, but we have plenty of our own fighters that are vastly superioir to the XX-24. Our own forces are TBD, but they will be large. Sean," Krystal said seriously, leaning forward. She would never use his first name. "Billions, maybe trillions of lives are riding on us stopping these maniacs. We've got each other watching our backs, but what if it's not enough? We must succeed, or all is lost. These people will just come back and do more horrors to good people. This will not be easy..." A single tear rolled down Krystal's cheek. She had the worst feeling about this... She wiped it away and regained her composure. "We must be ready to fight and die. Send those ships at the earliest psossible time."
OOC: Budding romance between these two? Kind of weird, think of the babies!

Killock gave a reassuring smile "Don't worry. The Fleet's already been dispatched. It'll be there soon. We can also rally an Army if you need it. For now just realy any of your worries through Captain Reynolds and I'll do what I can, old Friend" He smiled again

he wiped away a tear as he remembered the lst time those words were spoken, all those years ago. "Good luck" he whispered and was gone. The rooms seemed empty after such a reunion. 'Damn' he thought 'Damn this job!'

OOC: BRB, I gotta go eat, I'll have a response then.

Krystal wispeared as the connection broke. She turned around and called up a list of warships, Captains, and pilots. She scrolled though the list, searching for those with great talent and loyalty...
OOC: NC, I've got 300 fighters, 1 destroyer and 1 Cruiser fighting the rest of you fighters and your damaged capital ships. I've fired 2 salvos at the ships, rp the damage.

John returned to Krystal's office and gave a salute "I have been informed that I know am under the command of the Xiscapian Navy. My ship and crew are yours to command, on orders of Grand Admiral Killock" he smiled at her expression. Killock had informed him only moments ago yet he knew what had to be done.

The Apollo and Hercules began to lose hull integrity and began beaming down all personal except for the captain, and officers, and some security.

Officer: Sir, our main weopon can be used at 50%, it should be enough to destroy one of the ships, or at least cripple it.

FC: Do it, then set the self destruct.

OFFCIER: Yes sir firing weopons, sir i am sending our corridinets and our ships data back to Celestis, i have sent the same message to the Hercules.

FC: good.

The two ships had fire and small explosions happening around the whole two ships.

Kane slowly brought his plasma cannons up to bearing on a xscipian fighter and puled the trigger, two blue flew out and smacked the fighter ripping it apart.he began irratic patterns to make himself less of a target.

Krystal's eye widened. "Well, Captain," said, "glad to have you aboard." she held out her hand to shake.

"Use the bombers." said Captain Furn on the Destroyer Storm. He ordered Captain Shiek on the Blue Flame to do the same. Two remotely piloted frigates, filled with explosives, smashed into the main weapon of each NC capital ship, trying to prevent it from firing. In the fighter battle nether side had the advantage. The two capital ships fired their main guns again at the capital ships (ion cannons, Light and Heavy Guns) while the AS guns shot down fighters.
OOC: Have you already fired? Also, 50% will damage my ships, if 100% didn't destroy them, 50% won't, although it will do damage.

OFFICER: Beaming down sir: he and the FC went down to the suface along with the Hercules crew, the incoming weopons did in the ship and they both began to explode, the self destruct fired the ping in on itself, literaly melting the inside of the ships, leaving only the outside husk.

OCC: the ping,was set on itself as a self destruct.

OOC: What about your fighters?
The Xiscapians all cheered as both ships exploded. A message was sent to the fighter commander: Surrender and you will not be harmed.
A second message was sent down to the moon's surface:
Surrender now. It's over. This is your only chance. If we do not hear from you whithin the next two minutes, we will glass the moon. Surrender now.

The message had reached Celestis....


MOON and Orbit:

FC: Order the surrender, destroy the walkers.: he sent a message to the Xscipian ship: I would like to meet aboard your ship for surrender terms.

OCC: the fighters are returning to the surface and landing.

A message was sent back:
Very well. One ship, unarmed, come alone. Come to the Destroyer, the triangular shaped one. After you and your ship have been scanned, you will be escorted to the confrence room. Captian Furn will meet you there.

Damage report:
27 fighters destroyed.

FC William, enterd a probe fighter and sped towards the Triangular shaped ship, he made sure his grey suit was in good order: Fleet Cammander William, Calaverian Galactic Oberservation Armada.:he sent the message.

Scans were run on the ship, then, satisfied he wasn't carrying a bomb or any weapons, he was ordered to dock. In the hanger 30 Marines stood, blaster rifles and missile launchers ready in case the fighter should try anything funny.

William exited the fighter, put his hands up and did a 360:satisfied?

Captain Reynolds shook her hand as a loud buzzing came through in his earpiece along with the message THE FLEET HAS ARRIVED

John grinned "I belive your reinforcements have arrived Commander" he said to Krystal and walked to the window. He got there just as the light was blocked out by the Strato-Dreadnought as it glided overhead to dock "Admiral Johnson shall soon be in contact Ma'am" he said as he watched.

Captain Reynolds shook her hand as a loud buzzing came through in his earpiece along with the message THE FLEET HAS ARRIVED

John grinned "I belive your reinforcements have arrived Commander" he said to Krystal and walked to the window. He got there just as the light was blocked out by the Strato-Dreadnought as it glided overhead to dock "Admiral Johnson shall soon be in contact Ma'am" he said as he watched.
Krystal smiled. "Very good. I have just recieved a message from our Destroyer, Storm. Both remaining enemy ships have been destroyed. The rest of the enemy is on the moon, and has surrendered. Surrender terms are being talked though even as we speak. We could end this whole damn war right here!"

A second scan was run on the man, ensuring that he had no weapons, while the Marines kept their guns trained on him. Then Captain Furn walked forward. "Come." he said, and walked away. John nodded "The Alversian Fleet is ready to deploy should you need it" he said "I need to return and oversee repairs to my own ship. Commander" he saluted and left the room. The last Alversian ships were now landing and attracting quite a crowd. It had been years since a Strato-Dreadnought had landed in Tenfour and that usually meant bad news.

Krystal bowed the man out and sat down at her desk. "Let's see..." she murmered.

Even now a gigantic Xiscapian/Alversian fleet is massing. We will find your world, we will destroy your home fleet, and we will force you to surrender or your world will be glassed. But it dosen't have to be like that. Don't do this. Talk to your Commander. Ask him to surrender. Please. We won't harm your troops or your people unless we have to. We're willing to come to the table for peace talks."
OOC: Is the above you entire fleet? Or most of it? Also, do you seriously have 25,200 fighters? 2,000 fighters is alot. 25,200 is insane unless they're really low quality(like TIEs: slow, no shields, can be destroyed in one hit, only armament is two cannons).

William sat down and stared at the other Xscipians: Let's get down to business.

Furn just rolled his eyes. "Boy have we heard that one before..." He leaned across the table. "Listen. This is what we're going to do. You are going to go back down there and tell your troops the following: Discard all weapons and armor into a pile. Martch to a clear spot big enough for your people. We will take you weapons and examine your uniforms for hidden weapons. We will destroy all the buildings and take all your equipmet and vehicles. Once this has been done, you will be given prison clothes to wear. You will be sent tents, food, and water. You will be held on this moon until the war is resolved. You, William, will be taken to the Alversian leader. He will talk with you. Do I make myself clear, Commander?"

William: I will not be put in rags, and neither will my men, and you will not recieve our vehicles, you may have our infantrys equipment.All else is good with me.

"Very well. Then you are to mass your troops in a clear area on the moon. We'll take your infantry equipment, we will not take your fighters. You and your men will not be harmed and will be treated, well, humainly, although I'm not sure that word fits the situation."

William got up and walked to his fighter and got in, he sped down to the planet and presented the terms.

the solderis went to a plain of grass and unloaded there assualt rifles and put them on the ground, and assumed lines with there hands on there heads, detnations went off and the walkers were destroyed, as with most of the fighters.

Several dropships came down and took up the assualt rifles and other weapons. They knew placed them in various buildings (keeping about 100 for themselves) and blew the buildings. They waited until they were nothing more then a smoking pile of rubble, then sent a dropship over to collect William. More ships were sent down, carrying enough food, water, and other neccesities to last for several months.
OOC: What rank is William again? Also, how many troops are on the moon? Thirdly, are your soldiers and pilots all male or is there a male/female mix?

OOC: Thank God, I was going to die of bloody boredom. See a few posts back, I asked a few questions OOCly.

OCC: William is a Fleet Cammander, he controls his ship and all fighters it posses, and is able to cammand more than one observer/ 30,000 troops captured/ and 80% male/ 20% female.

IC: William was being flown from the moon to Xiscapia to meet with the Alversian Commander. The shuttle pilot transmitted to the cabin, where William and four Grunts sat, keeping their rifles on him. "If you look over to your left out the window, you'll see part of the fleet we're massing for the attack on the North Calaveran homeworld." This was purely for Williams benefit, everyone in the military and some of the public knew about the operation. Already about fourty ships had joined together in orbit around Xiscapia.

William grinned: That.....you think that will conquear Celestis.: he looked at the weopons pointed at him: energy weopons? we use bullets.

One of the grunts laughed. "Slugthrowers? Those things are outdated and clumsy. By the time our fleet gets to your system, all your soldiers are going to be quaking in their boots."

William turned serious: Dont be ignorant, you wont be able to penetrate Celestis, its defences are advanced, and no enemy has set foot on it.

"Just because no one ever has dosn't mean no one ever will. Besides, we don't have to penetrate it, just blockade it and/or bombard it until your nation surrenders and comes to the table for peace talks."

William: When will we be there?

The Grunt checked his chrono. "About five mintues or so now we'll be docking at the Alversian ship. They'll take over from there."

Captain Reynolds watched as eighteen Alversian Marines filed out to either side of him and formed a long pathway leading from the door of the Xiscapian shuttle. He was accompanied by four Elite Democratic Guards as he walked up to greet the landing party

IC: The shuttle flew into the hanger and settled down without a bump on the landing area. The hatch opened and a ramp rolled down. William, escorted by four Xiscapian Grunts, walked down. The Grunt in charge saluted. "Sir! POW Fleet Commander William of the North Calaveran Navy here to see you sir!" The four Grunts then retreated back to the shuttle, leaving the Alversians to take care of things.

The Captain nodded his head and watched the Grunts walk back into their ship. The Marines, in perfect timing with each other, took a few steps and did a half turn so they were a column. He looked at William and indicated that he should follow him.

William followed the cammander he looked at the other humans.

OOC: Hello NC.

OCC: hey, is Alversia going to be back?

Kash stood up and got the doctor up:where is the Lenin?

OOC: He was just here, I don't know if he'll be back, I assume (and hope) so.
IC: The guard glared at Kash. "Why do you want to know?"

William sat down, and whiped off his uniform.

Captain Reynolds led the POW to a room within the Naval Complex. Inside was a small table, flanked by two very large Democratic Guards. Sitting at the table was a large man with grey hair and blue eyes. He was calmly reading a report before glancing up and indicating the William should sit. Reynolds saluted and closed the door as he left.

Kash: Cause it was my ship, i want to know what has become of it.

IC: "I'm afraid that I don't know, and even if I did, that's classified."

Admiral Jameson slowly set his report down, and looked at William for a while. He looked disapprovingly at him before speaking slowly "For the purpose of Regulations, please state your name, rank and service"

"So 'Fleet Commander'" Jameson said with a sneer, "Can you explain your presence in this system?" He leant back, still staring at Williams.

"Find new life?" Jameson repeated slowly "Manipulate? May I ask the purpose of such a strong word? What exactly does manipulate mean?" He leant back and stared into William's eyes.

Krystal sat with some high ranking Xiscapians in the war room of the XNHQ. She sighed and waited.
OOC: I'll put more detail into this later, gotta go.

Upon recieving the message from the Xiscapians, all available Captains and Generals reported to XNHQ as asked. Leading the way was Admiral Bennett, who had stepped in at the last moment to replace the origional choice. It was not a bad swap.

The mixture of Captains included men and women, Veterans and Beginners, Illesians and Danaversians. It was a true mixture and represented the entire Alversian People. Each Captain also brought his First Officer to the meeting in order to provide a more experienced view in the upcoming talks.

Krystal stepped forward. Xiscapians present, aside from the guards, included Dom, the Master General of the Xiscapian Grand Army, Robs, Kommander of the Xiscapian Shadow Operations, Skyler, Head of the Mechanized Division, and Kartosh, Commander of Space Station Protector. Also included in the background was Vist and Drell, Govenors of two Xiscapian owned systems, and Jimp, one of the best fighter pilots in the Navy. All the Brass was there, crowded into the War room. Krystal stepped forward to a small space cleared at the front of the room. Her tail flicked nerviously. Xiscapians do not like confined spaces, but it was neccissary. She spoke. "Friends, Allies, Commrades, we are gathered here today so we can unveil our plan of attack. As you know, our Armada is a huge, tough fleet. However, the North Calaverans have extremely powerful laser cannons which can destroy a capital ship in no more the two or three hits. Also, we are low on fighters. If what we have seen, that each ship carries 300 fighters each, is correct, we will will be facing anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 enemy fighters. Combined, our fighter forces are about 4,000." A holo screen illuminated blue behind her. "The following data holos are top secret, meant only for the people in this room."

"The North Calaveran Homeworld is called Celestis. We expect it to be very well defended. They don't know that we're coming, so we will need to strike hard and fast at the heart of the planet. We're looking for the Capitol city so we can capture it and force them to sign a defeat treaty. If worst comes to worst, we'll blockade their planet. As I said, we're expecting heavy resistance, so that's where our secret weapon comes in." The door behind her opened and out stepped a Korr. He was dressed in the Captains uniform of Korrilia, and had a plasma rifle by his side. He spoke in a deep, gravely voice. "Do not be alarmed. I am what you know as a Korr. During and after our war with the Xiscapians, refugees fled from Korrilia to Xiscapia. They took us in and hid us from our own people. We knew that if it was found out that some defected, we would be hunted down and killed. Also, there were some POWs who did not want to go home to the war-torn, choatic place that was our homeworld. While this choas was going on, we stole ships from our brothers and smuggled them back to Xiscapia. A population of about 1 Million Korr now reside on Xiscapia. These North Calaverans disgust us, and, because Xiscapia is now our home too, we will fight for it." Krystal spoke once more. "We have assembled the Korr craft and several other odd ships we have aquired into a small fleet. This is known as Fleet 6, or the "Salvage Fleet" to some of our Spacers. Again, this is meant for your eyes only."

The 6th Fleet
The 6th Fleet, referred to jokingly as "The Salvage Fleet" is a fleet of a dozen ships that is part of the Xiscapian Navy. These ships are all ones that have been captured/found/bought by the Xiscapians. It concists of a dozen diffirent ships.

"While the main Armada attacks Celestis, the 6th Fleet will lie in wait several light hours away. Should reinforcements arrive or any craft attempt to escape, the 6th Fleet will engage them. They will also serve as our reinforcements if things get truly ugly up there. In addition, 500 Korr soldiers will be fighting with us on the ground, with another 500 in reserve for mop-up and/or reinforcements. The Xiscapian first 3,000 soldiers are the first wave, along with 150 Mechs. Once the system has been secured and the ground battle gets under way troopships will jump from Xiscapia with 12,000 (120 troopships) soldiers, for holding the city and to serve as the 2ed wave. Any questions or comments? Please do, input is valuable."

Admiral Bennett thoughr for a moment before speaking

"With regards to fighters, although we are outnumbered we have proven our superiority over their own pilots. Numbers do not concern us. The big NC ships are more than a match for a Deadnought, perhaps even a Super-Dreadnought, but I feel that Illumination will be more than equal to any threat our enemy possess. Our troops are mostly Marines and therefore to dispatch them to the surface in too great a number might leave the fleet a little low on internal firepower"

He looked at the assembled Alversians, Xiscapians and Korr and smiled "Old Friends and Foes united in the face of adversity. We are ready as always. When do you propose we move?"

Krystal spoke. "Anywhere from two weeks to 1 month. We need time to prep the ships and soldiers, and any more time and they may strike again. I'm sure that we will suceed in space, but it's the land battle I'm worried about. We have little infomation on their troops and vehicles. We're hacking records from captured NC ships and trying to get information from their soldiers, but we're having little luck. On a side note, the Super battleship Gloom Walker will be backing the 6th Fleet to give them a little more firepower. Our Super Destroyer Jade will be attacking along with the Armada. It and the captured North Calaveran ship should be able to destroy a North Calaveran ship in a single shot with their superlasers. As for other ships, we recomend two or three ship concentrating all their power onto one North Calaveran ship to prevent it from firing. Once we get the troopships in Shadow Ops shuttles (Robs nodded his head) will be dispatched to the surface to assassinate key leaders and help with the general battle. As for their fighters our Cruisers and gunships will be committed to destroying them. Any more questions or comments?"

Bennett shook his head satisfied "There is nothing left to discuss I think. We shall depart and prepare the troops for battle. However, we have one slight disadvantage. Our marines lack any combat vehicles, naturally being ship-based, they have no need for them. That may result in a disadvantage once we hit the surface"

Krystal nodded. "I understand. 150 LAM are being sent with the first assualt. In the meantime, train your men to learn to use our old "Hellstone" assualt tanks. We also have some "Jumper" FAR vehicles. If you train your men in these, then we will have some more firepower. We'll send 200 Tanks and 400 FAR via dropship to meet your men on the battlefield of the first assualt if you so wish. Also, because the NC fighter numbers are so huge, we have created some assualt drones to help out in the fighting. Under such short circumstances the drones aren't the best, but they'll hold their own against the NC fighters. They are lightly equipped, with only duel laser cannons, thrusters, some moderatly good A.I., and a comm. They know some good battle formations, and our people and your people can command them. We've got about 1,000 of them right now. By the end of the month we expect to have 3,000 of them. I suppose that's all. We give you a month."

Bennett nodded his thanks "I will train the Marine assualt troops to use the armour then" he thought for another while "Are we aware of what they have present in their homefleet? Other than that, I think it's time the Marines recieved a bit of extra training"

Krystal shook her head. "We have no idea. We only have the location of the system. None of the soldiers brain's we picked though had any idea of what the defenses are or what the homefleet is. It could be anywhere from 5 to 50 of these ships. We're well prepared, but we're going up against the unknown. We've sent drone scouts to the system, but none have even got a glimpse of it. All have been destroyed the moment they arrive in-system. Anyway, that is all for now. We'll keep you updated. Dissmissed!"
There was no sound of scraping chairs, as Xiscapians use hover-chairs to sit in, but there was the sound of feet on durasteel as the Xiscapian Commanders and soldiers filed out. A few stopped to talk to Krystal about tactics and the battle plan. Krystal called out while she still had everyone's attention. "The Operation will be called Freedom's Light. It is top secret. It will comense exactly one month from today." Then she went into her office with several Xiscapian Commanders to discuss more.

As the Alversians left the building, Bennet turned to the group that had assembed and said

"Alright, James! I want you to take charge of a Regiment of Marines! Take a few from every ship! Train them as hard as they've ever been trained. I want them combat effective with these tanks in three weeks! Darren, I want you to talk to all Fighter crews, let them know what they're up against and what they have to do! Franklin, I want a review of the Dreadnought armament! What's useful and what's not! I want it done in two days! Let's move with a purpose!"

He felt a pang of pride as his group split up to complete the various tasks he had assigned. Alversia and Xiscapia togather again. And goin' to kick some ass!

A Grunt ran into Krystal's office, shouting excitedly. "Admiral! One of our spy drones has made it into the system! The holo has been classified Top Secret by Command. You need to see it." Krystal took the little pad from the man and put into into a holo recorder. "By the Gods..." she wispeared.

Broadcast: All Xiscapian and Alversian Brass:
Attention! Attention! All Xiscapian and Alversian Commanders please report to the Xiscapian Naval Head Quarters, Admiral Krystal's War room, immediatly! Urgent! Repeat, All Xiscapian and Alversian Commanders please report to the Xiscapian Naval Head Quarters, Admiral Krystal's War room, immediatly! Urgent!"
All the Xiscapians who were there 7 days ago dropped whatever they were doing and came running. Something big either was happening or had already happened...

OOC: Answering a call to report to this thread

The widely scattered Alversians came to the HQ as fast as possible, considering some where in the air and others were trying to drill 5,000 Marines to use unfamiliar technology. Bennett was the first to arrive, at the head of his officers pursuing down the corridor "What's happened?" he asked panting. He'd run from the Illumination in port all the way here and, boy, was he feelng it.

Krystal stepped forward before the assembled beings. "I have some very grave news. Early this morning, Xiscapian time, one of our spy drones made it into the North Calaveran system. It transmitted the following holo to us."
A holo projector hummed and a screen appeared. It showed the stars of a solar system. Immediatly a world came into view. Shattered NC Carrier ships floated in orbit around Celestis. On the world itself huge fires raged. The atmoshpere was gray with the smoke from the fires and the little land that was revealed below it showed up as barren wasteland. Nothing could be seen alive. Krystal spoke. "Scanners show that a large battle had occured here. The husks of the ships, when zoomed in on, show laser damage. Bodies are also floating in space. Someone seems to have destroyed the North Calaveran Home Fleet, then utterly destroyed their world."
OOC: I bring you here for this. NC is too involved in other threads, so he asked for it to end this way. This will link to another thread when the Xiscapians hunt for the ones who destroyed Celestis. The thread is called Dark War or something like that. After things are wrapped up here do you want to join the Xiscapian (me) in that thread to help hunt for the ones who did this? They will hunt because they need questions to be answered. Who? How? Most importently, why?

He shook himself out of shock "If it is alright with you, and in keeping with Alversian policy I would like to send a ship to scan for survivors if I may" there had to be one survivor. That planet had held billions, there must be one.

Captain Murphy heard the news through his reciever as he took over the interrogation of the NC POW, well ex-POW now. He looked across the table at Williams with a mixture of pity and sorrow. How to break the news?

"Mr Williams" he began sadly "I'm afraid to tell you that there has been a battle around your home planet. A major battle and ...uh... you lost. I can only convey my deepest sympathy for the losses. From our early reports, there are no survivors. I'm sorry"

He walked from the room, taking the guard with him. He left Williams to stew over what had happened alone. He was no longer a POW of Alversia

Krystal nodded. "We are going to send several scout ships and a few troop carriers. They will search the planet for any signs that anyone is still alive. This means that the war is over. But the ending is mysterious. Who did this? Why did they do it? We must seek answers."
Space Station Protector...
10 Scout ships and 10 troop carriers, converted to carry any survivors, left with the Alversian ships to see if the destroyed world had any who survived the holocaust.
Zartcala, prison...
A Xiscapian guard moved over to Kash's cell. "We've just recieved news. Your homeworld has been attacked by an unknown enemy. It's homefleet was destroyed. Your world has been turned into a wastleland. We are sending ships to pick up and survivors. I'm...sorry." he turned and left.

APS Appearance speed with all due haste to the system, hoping, praying, that someone would have survived the holocaust. Captain Nero made ready for survivors. In his heart he knew there would be none.

When he arrived, he was forced to take immediate evasive maneorvers to avoid a hulk sitting directly in his path. Fighters were dispatched amongst the carnage to try and spot anybody who might still be alive. The Appearance made it's way slowly through the debris, through the bodies. It could find nobody.

Billions of deaths. And for what? Nero shivered as he stared at the NC home fleet in ruins. He stared at the ruined planet and found himself wondering if it had been Alversia. This time he shook so violently that he almost collapsed. Could the Grand Fleet have withstood this attacker? An entire fleet in ruins was an odd thing to come across.

After a few hours, he reported to the Xiscapian contingent

"We can find no survivors in the ruins. Please tell me you've had better luck" he knew they wouldn't. It was that sort of day. A holocaust.

The Xiscapians in orbit and on the surface reported back to Admiral Sor. He shook his head. "No joy. The Home Fleet has been destroyed, and the surface shows no signs of any higher life forms. Whoever these people were, they were brutal and efficient." he said grimily. The troopships and scouts came back into formation with the Alversians. "We've got several thousand men and women as POWs, but it's only like 20,000. Do you have a colony ship or some other large craft to transport them in?"

OCC: Actually the planet is in decent shape but oh well.

Kash was silent he sank down in his cell and buried his head in his hands.

OOC: Oh. Well for all intents and purposes of this thread it's been destroyed.
IC: The ships jumped back to Xiscapia. At the XNHQ, Krystal thought aloud. "What are we going to do with all the POWs? We don't have a ship big enough to ship them off in, and they will not be accepted here."

Bennett thought for a while "So long as they are prepared to alter their belief in inferior species, I can see no reason they won't be tolerated on Alversia. If they are ready to change their fundemental belief in their own superiority then We would welcome them to our society"

APS Appearance returned with the sad news, no survivors. It was a hard time, but what could be done? Alversia would look for the culprits but doubted they alone could find them. It would be a long and complicated search.

After a long silence, Krystal spoke. "We must find the ones responsable. We need answers. It is fine and good that you will take these people into your society. For now, however, the war is over. Let the holos delclare it and there be rejoicing in the streets! For Xiscapia has come though her time of trial. Now we have peace once more!"
From the XNHQ messengers were dispatched. Soon every paper, holo, and person on Xiscapia was declaring the war over! People danced in the streets. Huge parties were set up, and XX-30s and Shuriken fighters did airshows over the planet. It was a happy day, and all the military lay down their arms and took to celebrating for just one night. Other problems would be attended to later.

Most Alversians celebrated in the streets. Only a few realised that this was not an Alversian/Xiscapian victory. Far from it. There was war and then there was slaughter. This war had been the later. The Frigate APS Appearance and Light Cruiser APS Foxfire were preparing to return to the system. They were to try and find clues. Any clues as to what had happened.

Meanwhile the NC POWs, realising that their old lives and beliefs were destroyed forever, tamely accepted the Alversian offer. They were loaded onto transports and brought to their new home on Alversia. Upon landing they were given food and shelter by the local people, who were devastated by the sufferings of the people.

From here maybe they could rebuild their lives, start fresh. New jobs, new families, new lives. All the while the APN and APA searched across the system seeking some sort of clue as to what had happened.

OOC: Battleship Foxfire, not Light Cruiser.
The Foxfire scoured the system for clues to the attackers. It found only NC ships and NC dead, no dead or destroyed ships from the attackers. Whoever had destoryed them had struck fast and hard.
Rio Casa, Xiscapia, XNHQ...
Krystal slumped into her chair. She had addressed the masses of Xiscapians and Alversians, declaring victory for the Alliance. Now she sat, wondering about this new threat. They had no leads, no clues...so far. The 1st Assualt fleet had been dispatched, and an Alversian fleet was on it's way. A quiet funeral had been held at sundown for all those who had died in the war. Xiscapians, Alversians, NC soldiers and civilians...It was hateful to kill, even in self-defense. All the North Calaverans were gone, except for Kash and the Doctor. They were tied for war crimes and put in prison for life. She pressed the button on her intercom, listening to the sounds of celebration on the streets. "Get me the Emperor..."
OOC: That's about it for this thread. I'll be making a new one called "The search continues". It'll be closed, and serve as a thread of operations while we search. Whoever it is who has done this is in the Dark Wars, thread, if you don't have a link I'll link it for you. I'll be TG NC to find out who has done this so I have some idea of how this whole thing may play out.

APS Foxfire is an Alversian F-Class Light Cruiser, sorry if it's confusing.
