Space...cold, dark, lonely. Far from the other civilized worlds, deep in the Shadow Reigons, there is a small, solar system. There are four planets in the system, light by a small, yellow sun. The first is hot and barren. Life passes it on. The second is dim, with dark clouds occasionally revealing the planet's wastleland surface. Nothing lives there, it is empty. A huge, blue gas giant, surronded by moons, rocks, astroids, and anything else that is caught in it's gravity well. Then, finally, life. The fourth planet is green and lush, land surronded by water. A space station, large, gleaming and brilliant, spins lazily in the planet's orbit. This is Xiscapia. A quiet, peaceful place, the Xiscapians generally do not get involved in galactic politics or war. They know other species exist, they know of many, but stay in their quiet little corner of the glaxay. Only once has this peace and isolation been disturbed, during the Korr wars. There used to be a fifth planet here, filled with jungle. But it is here no longer, blasted into atoms during the war. The second planet used to be Korrilia, but it has been turned into a toxic, radioactive wasteland by war and their own greed for land. The Korr are completly extinct, thanks to some unfortunate wayward nuclear reactors, crashed spaceships, and the like. The Xiscapians, though wounded by war, tried, along with their allies, to help the Korr. The Korr refused all help, and, despite their best efforts, died out. That was many years ago. Now, the Xiscapian's quiet life is about to be disturbed once again...

ON BOARD THE LENIN

Sergeant Kash Wilson of the GOU sat in his bunk, this area of space was new, he wonderd what specias they would find in this edge of the galaxy. He got up and walked down the observation rooms(white hall with glass walls where specias are kept) he had been through the zoo many times before. He stopped and saw a flood behind the glass, yes the NC's greates creation, but also its worst. he continued forwards and found a human, this man had betrayed the goverment and was sent for testing for the rest of his life.


BRIDGE

The FC now gazed at the star system
FC: Wonderful piece of the galaxy, bring us into the center of the solar system pilot.

Pilot: Yes sir, turning.

It was raining at the Emperor's palace. Heavy clouds rolled over the horizon, rumbling like war drums and flashing like gunfire. Rain splattered against the windows of the palace as the Emperor stared out into the rain. Being the Emperor, while not without it's benefits, was generally a boring job for those used to action. Foxfire sat at a table, filling out issue forms from everyone to the head of the police force to a Xiscapian church's minister. Xiscapians are exactly like humans, except for a few minor diffrences. Xiscapians always have yellow eyes. They are all born with fox tails, fox ears, and a grace and speed unparalled by their human conterparts. The Xiscapians are more advanced than most species in the galaxy, boasting superior AI, better weapons, faster ships, and other such technological advantages. Currently a small fleet was at the edge of known space, engaged in a conflict between several races. Some patrols were out, but that was the extent of the military presence. Most of the military was out of service at the moment. About 10% were at combat readiness, and only 2% were deployed. Jade, Foxfire's wife, walked into the room. "Still filling out those demand forms?" she asked. "Yes," Foxfire said, "they're killing me. I've been restless lately..." "You're just bored. You need something to put a little spice in your vains, hmm?" "Yes, I suppose." Foxfire lightly rubbed the "X" shaped scar on his face. "Any word form the Exploritory Fleet?" asked Jade. "No," said Foxfire, "No word yet." He sighed and resumed writing, wishing he had a little more to do. He missed the old days, when it was him and the Alversians, united together. Be careul what you wish for...

The lenin approached the center of the system, keeping distance from the sun.

OFFICER MAUL: Sir, we have detected a small fleet of unknwon origin in the system.

FC: Send a probe fighter to inspect.

a fighter launched and flew towards its target.

One frigate ship, named the Too Late Now, with an escort of two fighters, meanders slowly though the system, on patrol. Suddenly it picks up a small, fighter-sized object heading towards them at a rapid clip. "Captain, object approaching us at a high rate of speed." "Run a scan on it." orders the Too Late Now's captain. Seconds later one of the men responded. "Sir, it's a fighter, short range. We don't read any biological scans on it, so it must be unmanned. Orders?" "Establish contact. Put a recording on it asking about it's controllers presence here."
Message input onto fighter:
Greetings, we are the Xiscapians. We have found your short range fighter and inquire as to your presnce here. If you come peacefully, we can offer you refueling for your ship and rest for your crew at one of our ports and we will open diplomatic talks. Please respond ASAP.

The probe fighter didnt reply, it simply flew around the ships scanning over and over again. then sent out a message.

PROBE: FOLLOW

"One word, on an endless loop sir, "Follow." Shall we?" "Inform command of this, then we go." After the message was sent, the frigate and it's two fighter escorts zoomed out after the probe.
OOC: I'm getting off for a couple hours, be on later.

The fighter drew them into the cloaked ships docking bays, it was cloacked so it seemd like space. Then suddenly they decloaked.

The fighter suddenly dissapeared, both visually and on the scopes. "Wha-?" asked the captain, then gaped at what had appeared to him on the screen. A giant ship that had been cloaked was now there, apprently the base for the fighter. "Open communications." the captian ordered. "Send a visual message."
(Visual means the captains hologram would appear on the bridge of your ship and speak. He is short, with brown hair and a mustache, and all prevously mentioned features. He wears the blue uniform of a captain, with a holstered blaster pistol, a knife in a sheth on one of his boots, and the captains insignia (flames with a starship flying out of them) over his breast)
Greetings, we are the Xiscapians. Welcome to our system. Should you come peacefully, you will be escorted to our planet to speak with the Emperor. Please respond."

LENINS AI( a womens voice): Drop your shields please

The frigate dropped it's shields as requested but the fighters moved directly in front of it. Just in case.

the artifical garavity took hold, pulling the fighters and the frigate to the ground, hundreds of GOU stormed the dock some with anti-vehicle weopons and aimed at the vehicle, other fighters watched.

AI: Please exit your vessel.

The frigate's bridge crew carefuly exited the vessal, their hands raised in the air. The pilots did the same. They were all armed with blaster pistols and katanas, and two of the crew where armed with rifles, but they were no match for the hundreds of troops. "If you harm us, our people know we're out here!" shouted the captain, his voice echoing across the bay. GOU began to enter the frigate to put the rest of the crew under guard.
OOC: What does your ship look like?

OCC: you know the like arms on the ship, that's where you are, look at the pic in my factbook. and the insides of my ship are white with blue holographic panels.

the soldiers loaded there guns. with out saying a word soldiers came in and striped them of there weopons and put plasma handcuffs on them.

Kash: what a beutifle speciase, it is going to be fun watching them.:he thouight.

one male and female were brought to a cage( the ones he was walking in earlier) and put them inside, they did the same with the others except for the captain, they took him to a room with a chair in the center.

the soldier raised his weopon: sit down please.

The captain bared his razor sharp teeth at the soldier. "What is the meaning of this?! Why have you detained my crew?! I demand you realease us immediatly!"

INSIDE THE CELLS

the ship put a realistic holographic scenary in the cell, and provided food and water to them.

CHAIR ROOM

three more soldiers enterd the room.

Soldier: sit down.

The captain reluctently sat down. Even if he could somehow disarm this soldier, find his crew, rescue them, fight their way out, get to their ships, and fly out, the ship would destroy them. Besides, he wanted somekind of explination for all this.

plasma clamps erupted over the captains hands. a women in a white suit walked up an opend the back of the chair, it was a sort of drill, she stuck it in his spine .(your captain will be in a sort of matrix, it will be a forest world, that's where we will talk to him as well, but not te others)

The captain went rigid as a sharp, momentary pain went though him, then suddenly found himself in the middle of a forest. After a moments confusion, he thought, of course. A simulation. Xiscapians have sims, and use them often. This sim seemed no diffrant from the ones the captain was accusrtomed to, so he sat down and waited.
OOC: Eventually some Xiscapians will coming looking for the lost patrol, but for now space is quiet.

Space, Near Xiscapia

That was along time ago and Prime Minister Jacobi was getting old. Elections would have to be held soon in order to find a new PM but until then, Jacobi's word went and that was what mattered. He neared the homeworld

The captain gave her a glare and stood up, drawing himself as high as his 5,5 height would reach. "I do not appreaciate being talked to like an animal." he said gruffly "To answer your question, I am an Xiscapian, captain of the Too Late Now in the Imperial Navy."

The Alversian Dreadnought glided elegantly down, flanked by her fighter escort and landed in the appropriate docking bay. The Sailors and Marines exited the ship, glad to have some time to themselves at long last. They split up and headed to various parts of the city. Mechanics and engineers went to work on the vessel to restock her and patch up and dmage from rogue parts from the massive battles 40years previous.

John Reynolds had family living in a rebuilt Tenfour and so went to say hello to them and say with them for the duration of his leave.

The captain grinned, showing a large amount of very sharp teeth. "The only reason you're not dead right now is because we're in a simulation. I swear, the first chance I get, I will kill you. You are sick. You know that? SICK!" He spits onto her shoes (or whatever she wears on her feet). Xiscapians are not known for their diplomicy towards those they consider enemies.

it hit her shoe, and then disappeard, she got closer and jotted down a couple of more things. then he was unplugged.

The Captain struggled in his seat. "Release me and my crew and we won't kill you. What do you want? Why are you here?"

The women nodded, and the soldiers took him back to the halographic cell, and brought the female.

Kash had ahold of the female, the same one he saw earlier.

Sasha struggled in the grip of Kash, Her long red hair, now free of the pilots crash helmet, fell in silky waves to the floor. She had no idea who these people were or what they wanted, but she was about to find out.

Kash: Shhhh. dont struggle, it will only make it worse.

he gripped alot tighter and two guards met him as escort, they approached the room, and enterd.

Kash: Sit down.

Sasha finally extracted herself from the man's grip and sat down. "What do you want with us?" she asked, trying to remain composed but feeling scared.

the restrains went across her hands, and she was sent to the same place as the captain.

The three Alversian bombers streaked through space, taking their leave to practise their flying skills, they noticed a strange ship nearby and decided to investigate "Maybe it's a new Xiscapian Class?" suggested one.

Sahsa was calmer than her captain had been. She realised that if she revealed the location of the planet, the ship might attack. She knew they could destroy a single ship, but she had no idea if more of them around. "I'm not going to tell you that." she said softly, shaking her head.
Meanwhile...
"Ground control, this is the frigate Call of Freedom. Acending into orbit now. Are we cleared for go?" "Yes, do you require an escort?" "Negative control, this is just a simple search party." "Alright, Freedom, you are clear for go." The little frigate zoomed towards the last known position of the patrol, escorted by two gunboats and four fighters. They noticed three Alversian bombers hovering in space. Nearby was a large ship. Scans registered it as a the Xiscapian frigate Too Late Now, but it was far too large to be a frigate. Looked more like the size of a Cruiser. The captain of the frigate realised that this was notthe Too Late Now, also it's fighter escort was missing. The captain's name was Dom, and he sent a transmission to the Alversian bombers. "This is the Xiscapian frigate Call of Freedom.The ship you are observing isn't the Xiscapian frigate Too Late Now. These are unknown aliens. Repeat, this is not the Xiscapian frigate Too Late Now. These are imposters." With that the frigate powered up it's shields and weapons. The fighters and gunboats peeled of into attack Zeta formation. The frigate sent a message back to command informing them of the situation, then to the imposter ship.
"Stand down and prepare to be boarded! You are directly under the breach of Xiscapian space, and suspect of capturing several of our ships. Reinforcement sare on en route. Do not attempt to resist or we will be forced to open fire!"

SHIP COMPUTER

CHAIR ROOM

WOMEN: Someones lying, okay if that's what you want.: She unplugged Sasha and put a collar on her, soldiers put more on the others.

Kash escorted her out

"Right!" the three bombers turned and flew in single file alongside the ship, attempting to scan her, "Please identify" the Seargeant called over the radio.

The ship revealed its self and turned back into normal form, and sent a message to the bombers.

AI: This is the ship Lenin from the nation of North Calaveras, please enter.

The three bombers continued to circumnavigate the cruiser "Negative!" replied the Flight Seargeant "Please state your purpose in this region" the bombers powered up their weapons as a precaution.

....Purpose..

AI: Diplomatic Relation with new specias.

"Sir? asked one of the men on Dom's frigate. "We don't have any ships registered in the Navy under the name Sasha. This is obviously some sort of trap." "Replay the message back to them. Then we'll-" "Sir! We've got ships incoming! More of our own, but their not coming from the direction of Xiscapia." "That must be that fleet that jumped a little while ago. Send them a message updating them on the situation."
Five Cruisers, 3 Destroyers, 3 Battleships, a Carrier, two Med ships and five Frigates jumped in-system near the ship. Once they were updated on the situation, one of the Battleships, two of the Cruisers, and another Frigate broke off from the main fleet to surround the ship. The others micro jumped back home to repair the damage done in a recent battle. Though the Battleship, Frigate, and Cruisers were battle damaged, all their shields were holding at at least 50%. They possessed, if firing at the same time, enough power to utterly destroy a capital ship. The same message was sent to the ship, only now is was backed by more ships.

GOU units were manning positions, holographics were placed over the opening to the zoo, and operation rooms.

The bombers continued to fly in circles while the Flight Seargeant consulted with the Call of Freedom's captain. It was in Xiscapia's territory and so they were under Xiscapian rules, not their own. "What should we do?" the Alversian asked
"Don't fire until hostile intentions have been shown. We need to try to get them to surrender peacefully, especially if our ships and crew are on board. I'll go in a dropship, if you don't hear back from me in twenty minutes or the aliens exibit hostile tendencys, open fire." said Don, and he piloted a dropship down to the ship.

"Fair enough" the Alversian bombers broke off and flew nearby to the Xiscapian cruisers. "Our fuel is running low though, we are only short range bombers for fleet actions, we will soon have to break off and return to Tenfour"

"You can dock at the Cruiser Oath, it has refueling capabilities. Go refuel now, we've got it under control over here."

Meanwhile...
The dropship entered the bay of the NC ship and settled to the floor. Dom walked out. "I demand to see my ships and crew." he said. "We know you have them here, take them to me now!"

Fleet cammander Hammond saw the outsiders and walked to them.

FC: Right this way, they hailed us because they were being attacked by another ship.

"Negative, the XB-44 uses an experimental fuel type that is extremely hard to find. The Talon has been especially equipped with this supply for it's bomber craft but no other ship has it. Sorry"

The first bomber turned and headed for home, broadcasting messages as it flew to the APS Talon in dock. A flight of long range XH-133 heavy fighters took off to take their place at the blockage, their crews seriously annoyed at the prospect of their leave ending so early.

Fleet cammander Hammond saw the outsiders and walked to them.

FC: Right this way, they hailed us because they were being attacked by another ship.

IC: Dom went in and sat down. He looked around at the crews of the ships. Wait, he thought, somethings wrong... What ships were you being attacked by? He asked as he carefully edged towards the captain. Suddenly he lashed out, his hand plunging towards the captains chest but meeting nothing but air. "Ah ha!" He cried, "Just as I thought! They're nothing but holograms!" He rounded on the other man. "Where are they? What have you done with them?!"
OOC: Remember, my people have holos too, they know a holo when they see one, no matter how realistic.

the FC nodded, and 6 soldiers burst into the room and raised there weopons at him.( (i will put him in the cell with the others, i got something cool to do with them, and i will start a fight shortly)

Kash walked next to the FC: Sir, the forien ships have charged weopons and shields, Respond?

FC: Raise shields and power the weopon, i want to be prepared for anything funny.

"Whoa!" the lone bomber claimed as it flew around the little armada, "They're powering up!" His gunner turned to face him in the cockpit "Will I fire at them?" his finger hovered over the trigger, "No! Wait for the Xiscapian Order!" The pilot was experienced enough to know when to fire, unlike his younger comrade "We wait".

Dom curled his lip. "Hostile." was all he said as he was led away. Outside the ship the Xiscapian ships recieved the message from the hidden mic in Dom's collar and powered up weapons and shields, preparing for battle.

Kash heard him say that: Im sorry what did you say?


AI: PLease lower weopons, we dont want war.


the pilots ran to there fighters ready in case this went hot.

The 15 XH-133's arrived at the scene and took the place of the lone XB-44 left. As they exchanged places, the bomber updated the Fighters in everything that had happened. The sleek and elegant XH-133's began to gracefully circle the Xiscapian ships. Their pilots were Veterans, they knew what to do once the first shot was fired.

Kash heard him say that: Im sorry what did you say?


AI: PLease lower weopons, we dont want war.

Dom turned to him. "We don't want war either. Just release me and the crews and our ships, and never show your faces in this part of the galaxy again, and we'll let you live. I don't understand your motivations. Please just let us go. We don't want to have to kill you."

Kash brought him to a cell(same as the other crew): Then we have a problem: he said scuffing his hair: you will be free soon.

OPERATION ROOM

Dr. Mac had just finished cutting open an infected.

DR. Mac: Sir, you got those new experiments? if so please send one this way.

FC: You got it Mac.

The fleet waits with baited breath. No communications had been sent aside from the single word: Hostile. "Sir, enemys powering up shields and weapons. Orders?" "We wait. This might still be slavagable."
OOC: My people want peace too much. Something dirastic needs to happen to force a battle.

while the Xscipians were in the room, Kash came and grabbed a male pilot.

Kash: Come with me.

The weopon was now fully charged all that was needed was the order to fire.

OOC: We're waiting...

He took him to the operation room, which was bloody from deade specias.

Kash: Lay down: he pointed to a table.

IN CELL

the cell was gassed, and men came in and took them to a room with 1 hundred chairs, differnt specieas in them, they plugged them in, when they awoke it would seem like they were in the cell, but the door was open.


the ship positioned itself to attack the Oath.

Dom lay down on the table. Sasha was suddenly in a room, filled with other beings, she requnized a few, most she did not. They were in a cell, but it's door was open. Sasha carefully peeked around the corner of the door...

In space...
"Fire! All ships, fire at once!" The battleship, frigates, cruisers and fighters and gunboats all fired at once at the large ship. Fire ranging from light AS fire made to take out fighters to heavy guns made to destroy shields and armor on capital ships streaked towards the target.

OCC: im talking about the other male pilot, not a captian.

the holographic computer simulated the real situation, the ship shook a little.

REALITY

The ship poured out of the hangars, and the main gun fired at the Oath. the incoming fire power dropped the shields down to 75%.

The beam from the ship wiped out the Oath's shields, it gave it a jolt but was otherwise unharmed. More fighters and gunboats came from Xiscapia, and a huge dogfight began. On the capital ships the crews were getting ready to fire another salvo, while AS gunners fired on the NC fighters.
OOC: So the whole "come with me into simulation" had nothing to do with the captive Xiscapians? Just trying to get clear here. Also, I'm gonna be off for a few minutes, I've got a PP project to work on for school.

DR. Mac came out with his tools, cut off the Xscipians shirt, and ready his blades and drills. He first checked the Xscipians teeth, and wrote down some things. then began to slowly cut open its stomach.

Kash got his combat gear on.

The XH-133's swooped down behind a bunch of fighters. They locked on quickly and fired their 20mm Heavy cannon. The rest began to split into smaller teams in order to make themselves smaller targets "You know the drill lads!" the Flight Captain shouted over the radio "Give 'em hell!"

OOC: I won't be on again for a fortnight, so just say you captured one of my fighters and are keeping them in captivity.

IN SPACE

OFFICER: Sir, are shields are dropping rapidly, we are only going to be able to fire one more shot, we are going to aim at the cruiser Oath. Sir, im sending a message to the rest of the fleet.

FC: Fire, and divert all systems except for life support to shields, try to keep the specias locked up.

OFFICER: Yes sir, diverting to shields and firing: the cells turnd off and they were open, and inside the fake reality, were unplugged.

troopers blocked off the hallways, they wouldnt be able to hold back all of them.

Kash ran to a fighter, and got in it, he had to be able to escape if they didnt board the ship.

The capital ships fired yet another salvo at the ship. "Prepare for boarding. Their shields can't be too far off from failing, we want to try to retrieve our people and capture the ships captain, dead or alive." SBAUs (Ship Boarding Attack Units) boarded shuttles and dropships to prepare to highjack the enemy ship. In space, more and more fighters were being destroyedon both sides. The Oath withdrew, having taken significant damage, micro jumping back to Xiscapia. The battleship, remaining Cruisers, Frigates, and fighters continued to bombard the ship.
On board the Lenin...
Dom rattled the bars of his cell. He and four other Xiscapians were confined here, Sasha, a fighter pilot, had been taken out and hadn't come back. As far as they knew there were no guards, but sometimes the ship would jolt and rumble, indicating that there was a battle going on. Dom turned to the others. "We've got to find a way out. If this thing blows, we don't want to be on it."

OFFICER: Open fire: 50 guards opend up on the unarmed animals and humanoids.(your others have a chance to escape).

the FC stood, as the shields now collapsed, he walked over to his desk, pulled out his pistol, and put the round threw his head.


Kash: Saw the dropships come in, a infected jumped onto his back, and he rolled out of the cockpit keeping the parisite from taking him. He fired a burst into its chest and kicked the corps over.

On the Lenin...
Dom dove for the ground as the troops opened fire. Assorted species died as rounds pierced their bodies. He and the other Xiscapians played dead (although one of them really was) and got up after the soldiers turned their attention away from the corpses. Dom got up behind a trooper and, putting his hand over the mans mouth, dragged him into a quiet corner. Moments later Dom was dressed in the guards uniform and hefted a rifle. The other two Xiscapians escaped into the depths of the ship. Dom ran though the corridors and hallways of the ship, and finally located the hanger. Xiscapian dropships were pouring though, SBAUs jumped out, weapons at the ready. Dom joined them as they fought they're way though the ship. They saw many other species aside from humans, all dead. A few times they, to their amazment, encountered Infected, but quickly killed them.
In Space...
The ships hovered in space, finally having destroyed all enemy fighters. They sat there, their guns trained on the hangers, ready to blast any fighters trying to continue the fight or escape.

Kash got up, and saw the boarders, when they came out, he fired a burst hitting one of them in the chest. He was out of ammo, he ran at one and tackeld him, he began punching it.

Kash: fucker!!!

OOC: Do your people use projectile weapons or lasers or plasma? Bullets, right?
IC: A SBAU went down with bloody holes in his chest. A man tackled another SBAU, but the SBAU qiuckily recovered and smashed an uppercut into the man's jaw. He fell back, and the enemy soldier was instantly surronded by several dozen SBAU aiming laser rifles at him. "Surrender immediatly or suffer the consequences!" the leader said. In the ship firefights were errupting everywhere. A team finally got to the Operation Room. The dead Xiscapian still lay, limp and cold, on the operating table, surronded by her own blood and guts. One of the men wrenched of his helmet and threw up. The others continued their hunt for more of the ship's people.
OOC: A Xiscapian soldier looks like the Elite Marines from Halo 2 that jump with you onto the second Halo.

OCC:our ships use plasma, our infantry use bullets. my guys look and have the same weopons as the ones from starship troopers.



Kash was on all fours, spitting out blood from the uppercut.

"According to reports from my men relating to the cowardly slaughter of dozens of unarmed sentinets and disemboweled body of one of our pilots, it is you and your people, not me and mine, who are the true animals here." the captain said coldly. In the ship the SBAU were rounding up the last of the surrendered enemys and killing the last of the resisters. The ship had been effectivly taken over, and the POWs were now transfered to a converted troopship being used a prison ship to transport the captured people back to Xiscapia.

The captain shook his head sadly as Kash was dragged away. "My all ye poor souls rest in peace as you fly into the heavens." he said, speaking of the dead Xiscapian. All the dead SBAUs and the corpses of the dead crewman and pilot were to be taken back to Xiscapia and burned. As for those who died in space or whose bodies were unreachable, a prayer commemerating their safe passage into Paradise was spoken. The captain sighed. Too many lives had been lost today because diplomatic relations failed.

OCC: you have captured the Lenin, are you going to destroy it? and these ships were the closest ones to that area.

Kash struggled but there were to many of them.

HOMEPLANET CELESTIS HIGH ORBIT: Kelis station

OFFICER: sir, we have just recieve word from the Observer the Lenin, they are being attacked by a being know as the Xscipians, that is all we know, I have orderd the Observer The Achilles, The Herculas, and the Apollo to its last know location they should arrive in about 3 days at full speed.

FC: Good, its been along time since this has ever happend, we need to know what were dealing with.

OOC: We'll convert the ship to an Xiscapian craft, as we do with most captured ships. We'll also use all captured fighters.
IC: "You'll be held at Xiscapia until we can make contact with the rest of your race. Despite your attacks on our people, we still seek a diplomatic solution to this whole incident. If your goverment either turns out to be hostile or ignores us, you will be held on Xiscapia indefinitly. Regardless of what happens, we will still interriogate you and all we have captured. Thank whatever gods you pray to, primitive human, that we do not employ your own bloody tactics against you."

The three observers were one there way. Every minute they came closer to rescue and kill.

Kash was knocked out, in his mind, he was dreaming about his family on CELESTIS.

DR.Mac returned to the operation room, and saw some xscipians.

Dr. Mac: What the hell are you doing out of your cages!

The SBAU turned, some not having helmets on, the doctor seeing either snarls of anger or horrible smiles cross their faces. They closed in on the man, a dozen strong, the news of what he had done had spread and they intended to give it straight back to him. However, the commander intervened, they would need this man for questioning. Meanwhile, Xiscapian techs disabled the security systems and shut off the alarm transmission. Using the captured ship, they sent a message to it's home planet.
"Greetings, we are the Xiscapians. We have just been attacked by a ship claiming to be from your homeland. Should this ship be on a mission with these intentions, we will consider this an act of war. If not, please notify us on the folloing channel." A string of numbers was read off. Then the transmission was encrypted so it could not be traced back to Xiscapian space.

The ships were now all docked, repairs were being made, and the wounded were being rushed off to hospitals. The prisonars were put into a large jail.
OOC: Could you lengthen the time it's taking for your ships to get here? Unless your home planet is close to Xiscapia or your ships are insanely fast, their's no way the ships are almost here in about five minutes. Also, we need time to repair and refit the ships. Just one of the motivations.

Ok, in this thread NC comes and trys to study my species. He is detected and a few of my people board his ship, thinking him friendly. This is not the case. My people are put in cells and interrigated. One of them is bruatally dissected alive. A counter attack happens and the ship and most of it's crew is captured. Now we (the Xiscapians) have figured out that NC is hostile. We want you to side with me (although you can side with NC or be a third party if you like) so the thread will be a bit more intresting. Unbeknowenst to the warring races, a group of overlords, carrying the Overmind, (The thing that controls and breeds the thousands of things) and several drones, and a couple hundred zerglings landed on the second planet. Most of the Brood died, including all of the zerglings. The Overmind set to laying a new Brood, and to mutating this one to compensate for the toxic planet.

The doc took a hit to the ribs and the neck. he fell back. Kash took another hit to the mouth, and to the collar bone.

The Overmind had laid the Brood, it was only a matter of hours before there was a new Brood of zerglings, aproximately 10 thousand. She could not lay more until more food was found. That was the ultimate goal of the Overmind, to find more food, and expand her Broods all over the universe.

The Overlord exalted, the Brood had hatched, she now sent the entire Brood to find some food. She soon would have the entire planet crawling with the Zerg. This brood was all zerglings. She now set to laying a Brood of hydralisks.

OOC: There's a scientific outpost on the 27th moon of Jomstar, it is only defended by a single frigate, 2 AS guns, and a couple fighters. Should be a piece of cake for your lot.

The Apollo, Achilles, and Herculas observers blasted out of hyperspace. They immediatly began scanning and noticed an out an colony on a moon, no doubt xscipian.

The zergling brood had found much food, and the Overmind had hatched the Hydralisks, and layed another Brood of zerglings. She liked this planet, there was plenty of food there. Soon her Swarm would expand to the other planets as well, and soon encompass the entire systym.

Music played slowly over the radio at the outpost. Karrla layed back in her seat and sighed, her eyes closing and her tail flicking lazily. Outside three other buildings showed no signs of activity and the AS gun turrets were quiet. These days the boys only used them to take potshots at astroids. They'd never actually been used in combat. There was the actual scientific lab itself, sleeping quarters, and a hanger, where the transport ship and the two fighters were kept. Only a dozen people were at the base, four pilots, 2 guards, and 6 scientists. They were monitering the growth of certain planets and animals under extreme conditions, and the military was using the moon as a outpost. Karrla fell asleep, having not seen the flashing proximity sensors...

the three ships used there holo tech to make themselves look like clouds over the out post.

APOLLO

OFFICER:Sir, they have an out post on the planet, should we destroy it?

FC: No, send a post to kill, or take prisoners.

IN CELL

IN ORBIT


OFFICER: Sir, we are transporting: the beam activated sending the post to the edge of the base, it turned on its search lights, and used its massive horn to scare the inhabitants.

OOC: What exactly did you send to our base? A walker?
The guard glared. "Watch your mouth, or we'll be dissecting you better than you dissected one of our commrades."
On the outpost...
A loud blast woke the residences of the base. Slowly, wondering what all the commotion was about, they got on their feet. "Move, move, you know the drill!" shouted one of the soldiers who was on duty. The drill was that all the civilian scientists got to the transport, while the pilots got to there ships and the guards investigated the source of the disturbance. The soldiers got their laser rifles and went outside to see this thing.

the towering walker looked at the outpost and watched it for movement, it began charging it's fused plasam beams.

The soldiers stared up at the thing. One of them ran inside and sent out a distress signal, while the other began throwing grenades at the walker. In the hanger the transport was being powered up, the two fighters, swooped out and hovered around the walker, readying their missiles and guns.

the grenades had no effect what so ever, the Post fired its charged weopons at the grenaders.

The soldier was instantly vaporized, that was all the fighters needed. They unleashed a hail of missiles and lasers onto the walker. Inside the soldier ran for the transport. It lifted off and blasted away into the sky.

OFFICER: Sir, sensors picking up transport

FC:destroy it, send the probes!

the three oberservers sent out there fighter to take the transport(900).

ON GROUND

the missles were doing very little, but the laser were decently lowering the shileds, the post fired at the lasers.

On the transport the pilot gaped at the 900 fighters flying towards him. "Oh shit." he wispeared, just as the plasma annihated the ship.
On the moon...
The fighters continued to pelt the walker with lasers and missiles, a stream of plasma came close to one of the fighters, destroying it's imbound lasers. On Xiscapia the transmission came into a military base, a unmanned scout fighter was sent out to find out what was happening.

the fighters made a sort of blockade on the moon, and 500 ground troops and 3 addintional walkers were transported to the surface.

The fighters continued to bombard the walker, they knew there was no way they were getting out of this, and at least wanted to take a few of them with them.
The unmanned fighter hovered nearby and transmitted. It saw the three NC ships, the hundreds of fighters, the walkers, the troops, the destroyed transport. Preperations were made and warships got into space and began their journey to Jomstar.

GROUND

OFFICER: I want prisoners!

Soldier: yes sir, ordering.(the soldiers will not aim to kill now)

the walkers deployed there robotic tentacles to pick up any stragglers.

Unfortuntly for the walker, everyone had been on the transport, except for the vaporized soldier and the people in the fighters. The fleet continued on it's way to Jomstar as the fighters continued to attack the walker.

The Overmind was now very happy, her swarm encomppased the entire planet. And those helpful little clouds made them it diffucult for the inhabitants of the other planet to see the surface. She had nearly five million hydralisks, and twice that of zerglings. This planet had been surprisingly helpful, although toxic, it had much in the way of food. She had only gone through a brood of zerglings in order to evolve them to the food. Her zerglings and drones had burrowed tunnels throughout the planet, in order to get around the planet quickly. She readied half of her total force, to be transported by Overlords to the third planet. They would also be acompinied by a cerrebrus (A lesser Overmind basically) in order to start a brood on that planet. (The third planet is uninhabited right?)

IC: The warships were now whithin visual range of the enemy fleet. The fleet consisted of:
2 Carriers (600 fighters and 50 Gunboats each= 1,200 fighters and 100 Gunships)

OOC: Hmm... So Jomstar really wouldn't be good for habitation would it? To cold I'd say... Oh, and by enemy fleet you mean NC right?

OOC: Yeah, you'd have a hard time settling on a planet with no surface...and yes, the enemy fleet is NC.

OOC: Heh, luckily for you, the way the Zerg works, they'll keep trying until the Overmind or the Cerrebrus tells them to stop.
IC: The Overlords kept trying to land upon the surface, and it wasn't until they had lost half a million zerglings, that the Cerrebrus realised something was wrong. He finally told the Overlords to stop trying to land, and by that time they had lost around 750,000 zerglings. Nearly a million. The Cerrebrus conferred wit the Overmind for several minutes, and they decided to move on and try the fourth planet. They moved on, heading torwards Xiscapia.
OOC: By the way, they don't know that you are on the fourth planet, they come from a planet just like the first, so by reason they think you inhabit that one. Thats the only reason the Overmind did not land there. Oh, and in case you were wondering heres a list of my forces, I'll also give you a discription of their job.
About a million Overlords for transport
Around 4,250,000 zerglings, which are for initial attacks, they are basically the cannon fodder, the weakest species of Zerg.
About 2,200,000 ydralisks, they are bigger stronger versions of zerglings, instead of close combat, they spit a highly corrosive acid, which has been proven even against lightly armored ships.

OOC: Does the Overloards use offensive/defensive capablities?
IC: "Sir, we're picking up bogeys moving towards us. Scans indicate that they are not much bigger than a fighter. We've never seen anything like them. Orders?" "Recall the fleet, and have them put up a defensive ring around the planet. Get 50 LAMs up there, I want to know what these things are. Keep scanning, I don't want anything else taking us by surpirse."

OOC: Unfortunately, no. They have to be escorted by air creatures, but since they thought you were on a different planet, they don't have any.
IC: True to the Zerg spirit, the Overlords completely ignored the ships, and kept on their course, heading for the planet. They would keep going until either death, or a command to stop. Whichever came first.

IC: The ships were now positioned directly in the path of the Zerg, as well as 50 LAM (Light Assault Mechs). They kept coming, utterly ignoring or not seeing the assorted ships in their path. "Captain? What do we do? Are hails are either not being heard or ignored." "Hold your position. Do not fire until I give the word or these creatures exibit hostile intentions, which ever comes first."

The Overlords kept going past the ships and to the surface of the planet where they began to unload the zerglings frist. Unlike the Overlords however, the zerglings did display hostile intentions. As soon as they were unloaded, they began attacking everything in sight. The Overlords soon had all the zerglings unloaded, and those ones began to go back through the defensive ring. The remaining ones began to unload the hydralisks.

Fortunatly for the Xiscapains, a division of the army had been placed in the general area where the Zerg landed, which was large, open plain. Most of the Zerglings were immediatly shot, although the hydralisks proved to be a bigger problem. The Xiscapians began hunting down the survivng Zerg. In space the warships fired on the retreating Overlords with great success. The Zerg were to be put down as fast as possible before they could do any damage.

The Overmind was enraged at this, she had thought they were on the wrong planet!! The only good thing, was that she had given birth to millions more larvae. But instead of simple Hydralisks and zerglings, sh began to have them morph into not only those, but several million of the Scourge, some mutalisks, and more overlords. The ending result: 5 million more zerglings, a million hydralisks, 6 million of the Scourge, and about a million Mutalisks, and 2 million Overlords.
OOC: Okay, a little discription, the Scourge are kamakaze flyers, they fly into enemy space ships and explode. Mutalisks are fast flyers, they are good for hit and run, and are devastating in large groups.

the moon was now theres, the fighters flew across the landscape seeing if there were any possible remanants, and the walkers searched.


the three observers formed a triangle formation.

the walker hurled over the firepower of the fighters until it eventually collapssed smashing into the ground with an enormous thud. 30 probe fighters broke off and went to intercept

The fighters screamed out to meet the enemy fighters, the pilots knew that they would die but were determined to take some with them. They unleashed the last of their missiles and began firing lasers into the swarm.

the probes lost 3 fighters to the incoming missles and lasers, now the probes fired there plasma.

The first fighter was utterly destroyed, the second dodged and weaved, overloading itself by firing the last of it's missiles and lasers at maximum power by suiciding into the swarm.

the kamakazi exploding destroying 5 fighters. the planet was being sweeped for survivors, the fighters returned to space to patrol.

The Emperor's top aide, Vanadict, strode into his chambers. It was night at Rio Casa now, and the rain had stopped, though dark clouds were still in the sky. "Sir. You are aware of the attack on the outpost on the 27th moon of Jomstar? We got a last transmission, a distress signal, from them, then nothing. We had about a dozen people on the planet, and they are all assumed dead. They were attacked by an unknown amount of North Calaveras ships, so we sent a fleet. Unfortunatly, at that time we were attacked by aliens. We have no idea of who or what these things are, but they were obvously hostile. We may be fighting a war on two fronts." Kartosh slumped in his chair. "Though our military has grown powerful, we cannot fight a war against two enemies. If either of the hostiles fleets are detected, we shall send a fleet to destroy them. We cannot allow these to remain in our system. We are on High Alert, correct?" "Of course. Our sensors are scanning and we have a fleet in a protective ring around the planet." "Okay. Send out scounts to find the fleet's locations. In the meantime, all we can do is wait."

The moon was now completly secure, men and equipment was being beamed down by the hour. the walker held defencsive perimeters around the base. the observers kept up communications with Celestis.

All outposts, colonys, and secret military bases in or on the Jomstar moons were evacuated to Xiscapia. All research was destroyed so it would not fall into Zerg or NC hands. The Emperor sat in his chamber. "It is time to set our enemies against each other. Broadcast a "message" coming from Korrilia so it can get intercepted by the North Calaverans and they will to to investigate. They will find the aliens and hopefully war will start between them. If all goes well, one will wipe out the other, leaving us free to destroy the victor." "It will be done, Your Excellency." A message concerning not having enough troops on Korrilia was sent in Korrilia's direction, then "bounced" by Space Station Protector back towards the moon. If all went well, it would be intercepted and acted upon.

FC: Yes it would, bring the fleet over orbit over Korilla. Blockade the planet i dont want anything to get through.

The three observers turned and moved towards the planet. On the ground men were preparing defensive positions and ready in case of counter attack(5,000 GOU, and 10 Posts)


PRISON

Kash: Hey guard, im not feeling so well, i think im sick, i need some help.

The guard looked at Kash. He did not know much about humans, so he didn't know if Kash was truly sick or not. "Sick how?" asked the guard. He summoned a doctor to check on the human. A petite Xiscapian female with short green hair walked in. "What's the problem?"

Kash held his chest: Im feeling pain in my chest.: he said putting his hand on his chest and squinting.

Still weary after the last attack, the doctor went into the cell. Three guards covered Kash from the front and both sides with laser rifles. The doctor set up a machine. She checked Kash's blood, listened to his heartbeat, and measured skin samples. She frowned. "By human standards, your heartbeat is far too slow. Something's wrong."
OOC: Alright.

Kash: Maybe its your dam food, i could use better conditions, hell we treated ours better.

"I highly doubt our food would kill you, though what we eat is rather diffrent then what a human is used to." The doctor forced Kash's head back and slipped two small orange pills down his throat. "These will numb any discomfort. Just relax. Try to sleep." She packed up the machine and walked out of the cell. The force field went back up again and the guards resumed their original positions.
OOC: BTW, is Gang Wars dead? It seems like it. Also, where's Mersheka, or whatever his name is? Maybe you should send some people to try to rescue Kash, 'cause I'm really bored.

Kash fell asleep and layed in his corner of the cell.

An observer, the Hades appraoched Xscipia cloaked, its mission, to quickly send down troops to rescue prisoners and cause internal damage, and leave as quickly as possible.

IC: All was quiet in Space Station Protector. The space station, as well as several orbiting and ground based sensors, acted as Xiscapia's eyes and ears. They, however, sensed nothing. They had no idea what was about to come...

Yemmen yawned widly, showing sharp, pointed teeth. He leaned back in his chair. Yemmen was a tech on the Protector, but there wasn't much to do. He idely scanned the sensor monitor. Nothing aside from a few ships on patrol. Life was slow on the Protector. You ran your scans for your shift, talked to the others, then went and ate, read, or watched the holos in your downtime. Every so often there would be a drill of some sort, and ships docked daily. But there just wasn't much excitment. Yemmen was about to get up to get some fooza (a delicious pastry, think of a donut) when a blip appeared on his screen. Curious, he stared. The blip dissapeared. Then it came back. Computor malfunction? he thought. He contacted his superior, who sent out a fighter to investigate this strange blip.
OOC: The way I've RPd it, you're cloaking device is having a problem.

MESSAGE SENT TO HADES FROM APOLLO


BE AWARE THERE IS A SPACE STATION, CAPTURE IT, SHOOT TO WOUND.

OFFICER: Sir, theres a space station near by, it seems our cloak isnt working as well as we expected. Sir, im moving to attack range.

The fighter moved closer. A ship seemed to be flickering in and out of existance. He had no idea what it was. He sent a message. "Unknown ship, you have entered Xiscapian space. Lower your shields and prepare to be boarded. If you do not resist, no harm will come to you." The fighter hovered, waiting. On the Protector, shields and weapon systems were being powered up, and pilots were being scrambled.

The Hades unleashed its fighter complements, the fighters would purely take on the other fighters, while the hades attacked the station, hopefully weakening it enough to capture.

"Holy Shit! They've uncloaked, it's the North Calaverans! Fighters are everywhere!" The space station unleashed it's 500 fighter wing and all of it's frigates (10), as well as 20 Gunboats. More fighters were being readied from the surface, and capital ships were being preped. 25 LAM and 10 HAM were sent up to the orbit to combat. The fighters and the LAM engaged the enemy fighters, while the frigates, HAM, and Gunboats fired for the actual ship, along with the stations guns. (The station has 15 Heavy Guns, 20 Light Guns, and 40 AS guns, check my now up and running factbook:)) Xiscapian vengence would be swift and brutal.

OCC: hold on man i feel sick.

AI SIGNAL TO ALL FIGHTERS

RETURN TO THE HADES AND DISENGAGE ENEMY FIGHTERS

OFFICER: Sir, were calling our fighters back, hopefully the Xscipian fighters will pursue and be in range of the ping.

FC: Good, ready AA weopon.

"Enemy fighters falling back sir." "Fire the stations guns at it, send out 10 LAM and 25 Fighters to follow it." The Protectors 15 Heavy Guns, 20 Light Guns, 40 AS guns, and thirty Ion Cannons fired at the larger ship and fighters as they retreated. The fighters and LAMs swarmed behind the fire to follow the ship.
OOC: Your shields should be hurting right now.

The fighters almost rammed into the docking bays, but were succesful

OFFICER: Sir, firing the ping

A plasma ping was sent in a 360 arc, the invisible death wave would crash into any unsuspecting fighter, and damage frigates.

OCC:there about 40 percent now(remeber i only have 2 kinds of ships, so there extremely powerful.)

Fortunatly for the pursuing craft, they were fairly far away from the plasma, although 6 fighters were destroyed, the LAMs escaped with only mild damage and the fighters were not so damaged that they could not limp back to the station. "Keep a fix on that warship." demanded Captain Gigholf, staring coldly at the fleeng craft. "Do we have any ships avalible?" "Yes sir, the Cruiser Blood Sea and a SuperMech." "Get them up here now, no one escapes without a fight." The Cruiser and Supermech got into orbit and followed the fleeing ship.
OOC: RP the damage done to your shields.

FC: Order retreat, set up an ambush with the Apollo and Hercules, divert weopons power to engines and shields.

OFFICER: Sir, weve added another 10 percent to shields and 10 percent to the engines, we will jump in 10 seconds, our weopons will be down though.

the message was sent to the Apollo and the Hercules, they immediatly set up rally point with the Hades and cloaked charging weopons.

OCC: my shields are 35 percent internal damage is happening.

The hades arrived, batterd and bruised by Xscipian fire. the Apollo and Hercules sent repair crews over to help, it would be some time before the Hades was again operational.

It was quiet again in Xiscapian space. Patrols continued along the borders of the space, a battleshp hung in space. Should the enemie be so foolish as to attack again, they would be ready.

This was getting out of hand, the Xscipian race had done what no other had, took on the NC and survived so far, no doubt the NC usually dealt with weaker races. The NC would have to bring in a bigger stronger fleet to crush this disobedient race.

The Emperor stood on his balcony, where he made speechs. Assembled before him were hundreds of Xiscapians jammed into the courtyard. Holos broadcasted his image around the globe. "People of Xiscapia." he began grandly. "We have been at war for several days now. The enemy is called North Calaveras. They treat us like animals, even dissecting one of our own. But we have shown them that we are strong willed. We shall not fall. We shall stand, proudly, defient in the face of adversity. We shall continue to last, as we have for thousands of years before, never failing. I ask all of you here today to bear with us and contribute to the war effort..." The Emperors speech contnued for nearly an hour. Then, to thuderous applause, he left the balcony.

OOC: Basic overview: I pwned NC ship, captured a bunch of his people. Then we got attacked by Zerg, but beat them back. Then NC attacked in Xiscapia's orbit, as a trap for me, but I didn't bite. That's basiclly where we are now. As it says in my sig, I won't be on for another 2 weeks, so bye until then.

Captain John Reynolds walked through the halls of the Xiscapian Naval Headquarters. He was intent on meeting the Xiscapian C-in-C in order to discuss the currant situation regarding the war. His ship APS Talon had rested and was ready for battle. Captain Reynolds had been ordered to discover if a taskforce would need to be sent out.

Kash still sat in his cell, this sucks he thought, he got up and started kicking at the opening.

Krystal was waiting for John Reynolds in the war room. She rose as he entered and shook his hand. Dispite her young appearence (she was only 21) she was a ruthless tactical mastermind, a hero in the Korr war. She offered the Alversian a seat and sat down herself. "It's good of you to join us, Captain." she said quietly. "So far, the war is going well. We've engaged the enemy, who call themselves the North Calaverans, twice with minimal losses. In the first battle we captured the enemy ship and captured or killed all the defenders. They are being held on Regalis, our second moon which we use as a prison. The ship is docked here and is undergoing modifications to make it into a ship worthy of our own fleet. In the second battle the enemy tried to attack Xiscapia for unknown reasons. We beat them off again with little losses. However, those have been multiple of our ships against a single one of theirs and about 900 of their fighters. The most disturbing thing is that we've lost contact with a scientific outpost on a moon orbiting Jomstar, and the Scouts we've sent out haven't reported back. I fear something has happened out there. If the Talon, escorted by an Xiscapian battleship, would investigate this, it would clear up much of the mystery. We are currently trying to locate the base from which the North Calaverans have been launching there ships, but with no luck. Our goal is to either force the North Calaverans to surrender or completly destroy their military, if at all possible. As a last resort we will find and blockade their homeworld. Any questions?"

A guard appeared at the cell. "Stop that!" he said, jabbing his stun-staff though the forcefield at Kash.

Captain Reynolds nodded, "Prime Minister Jacobi has instructed us to do anything possible to help you in this mission. We would be glad to assist. The Talon can be ready within two hours. Is that acceptable?" He leaned back and groaned, thinking of the 4,000 crewmen he would have to round up.

"I'd rather it be four. We need to get crew for the battleship, and rearmerment. You'll be flying with the battleship Foxfire. It will be Captained by Captain Sor. We greatly apprechiate your help in this matter. I'm sorry we had to intterupt your and you're men's vacation, but that outpost's men and women's lives may hang n the balance."

John shook off the apology, "It's no great disappointment. The crew are paid soldiers and therefore expect to be dragged away at the most unconvenient times" John stood up revealing his full height, he was 6'4'', "In four hours time, the Talon will be ready for cast-off. You have my word. He saluted and left the room, working on his earpiece as he went "Sean?" he asked into the piece "Assemble the crew. I want us to be at normal station within four hours" he left the building and headed towards the docked battleship.

The battleship Foxfire shuttered as it's engines powered up. The spacers, techs, and Bridge Officers onboard ran the last of the check list as the ship lifted off. It hovered above TenFour, then slowly turned and flew upward into the sky. The ship reached orbit whithin minutes, and stayed there, waiting for the Talon.

The klaxons went off, warning that the ship was about to take off. The last crewmen dashed to their positions and waited for the order to stand down. John Reynolds stood on his bridge, the ensigns below him at the controls, watching Tenfour disappear below as the great ship hovered slowly and gracefully into the air. He sighed. He liked Tenfour and had hoped to spend a little longer there, but as he had said, he was a soldier and he did what he must.

Once free of Xiscapia's atmosphere, the stand-down alarm was given and the crew relaxed into various past times or hobbies. The Talon glided across the sky in order to meet with the Foxfire.

Captain Sor transmitted to the Talon. "This is the Foxfire, I am Captain Sor, ready to go? Hyperspace coordinates are 4439670. This will take us to several SDU(Standared Distance Units) away from the moon. Should no hostiles present themselves, shuttles will embark to find out what happened to the outpost."
