Buddy, I have Aspergers Syndrome. So what? When I screw up, I don't pass the blame on to my condition. I accept the fault as my own. I take responsibility for my own actions. It's something that normal people do in the real world.

People (bosses, employers) will only laugh at you, not with you, if you blame your screw-ups on your condition. You're an autistic person living in a non-autistic planet. The world will not slow down in order to let you to catch up. It will keep on going, leaving you behind.

The only way that you can catch up is to admit that you are wrong. And when people give advice, listen to it. They only want to help you. Honestly.

But when you refuse to listen, and shut off your mind, sooner or later those helpful people are just going to walk away in disgust, just like everyone else on this board. And soon you are just standing by yourself, wondering what the hell went wrong.

So what are you going to do now, Hataria? Do you open up, accept responsibility for your situation, and join us in the real world, or do you build a wall around yourself, cutting yourself off from everyone?

Hataria, you seem to be under the impression that people are required to like you, regardless of your actions or activities. The fact is, you are the one who is failing to follow NationStates accepted practices, and you've been here long enough and been linked often enough to know that. You don't get an automatic free ride because you claim to be autistic.

The next such outburst will see you forumbanned for a week. Knock it off, NOW.

I think there are half a dozen or so people on the NS forums with Asperger's syndrome.

The bullies may seem like a lot when it's happening to you, but the bigots here are actually a fairly small, vocal minority. Most of us are actually quite nice if you bother to RP with us. I've lost every war I've gotten into, it's a miracle I'm still standing. You can talk to me on MSN when I'm on, my info is in my profile.

If you want IC for people to stop declaring war on you at random, you might want to try not being so imperialistic. If the declarations keep coming then the ones making them are the ones who are just interested in making NS less fun for you.

There are plenty more disabled people besides you. We all have our faults. This is a dynamic world, not a static one. Learn and change, rather than trying to stick to your guns every single time-because I guarentee you that not everyone's going to listen as kindly as we have. We've tried everything we can to make this RP enjoyable for you and us. We have RPed within every parameter and responded in reasonable actions. Yet you still can't even handle that.

I'm not sure you're ready to handle this scale of RPing, then-because, as far as RPs go, we've been great OOCly.

And as for the others: 40,000 missiles fired at you destroy 10 destroyers, while you get uber-railguns on submarines that are as large as battleships. Bases on the goddamn fucking moon. And you fighting 8 countries, 5 which are almost as large as you, and for a while you were winning. What the hell?

Two things:

One, this conflict is over, you're about a month late.

Two, you have 25% of your population in your military? That's slightly ridiculous. Your economy would be shot to hell. 2% is much more realistic.

Well, he did have reason, mostly because of the mounting tensions between GASN and CA, to the point that a simple OOC drill almost turned into an IC war (See: first aborted CA/GASN war), Hataria didn't get the memo that it was to be cold war/it was just a contingency plan, for some reason.

Hataria later asked members of GASN to assist in his front, assuming a full state of war between CA and GASN existed. Due to the fact that all military actions against CA at that time were frowned upon, when things became ugly and Hataria was forced upon the defensive, things went from bad to worse.

Around this time, New Ausha defected from the CA, and his former comrads decided to assault TWSP and New Ausha*, all GASN members were asked to take part, guess were Hataria was? He was over-extended. And in fact, was getting pretty badly mauled on his front (at least from his POV).

The high council of GASN thought that Hataria was being a warmonger, and had joined GASN as a shield as it went on its own conquests. Bad timing of this because GASN was starting its crackdown on 'loose cannons' + 'slackers' and they needed an unpopular scapegoat to 'make an example of'. Guess who won?*

A short vote came out questioning what was to be done about Hataria at that time, some wanted to help the CA in glassing him, in an effort to weed their way inside and rot it out later. Others wanted to just let the issue go with the minimum of fuss and discretely let him go. A few elected to just let the CA run over him and see what happened from there.

The end decision was to publicly eject him. It was a compromise nobody really liked, but those tasked with punishing Hataria were satisfied and those tasked with infroming Hataria could live with that knowledge. The same could be said for the decision to drop Dephire.

As for the autism thing, it depends on what degree of autism, and what particular traits are exhibited.

You have your 'high functioning' Aspherger's Syndrome forms, such as myself***, to the stereotypical 'severe autism' of Retts syndrome, in which almost every trait of autism is manifest.

(Autism is rated in degree of severity by the number of traits observed on a given patient, the minimum number is about 4)

Indifferent to the feelings of others; Indiscriminate social interaction; Brief response to questions; Gullibility; Difficulty translating thoughts into words;
Poor use and understanding of nonverbal communication; When being questioned, may have a delayed reaction; Perseverative interest (tunnel vision).

*TWSP was also assualted without consent, plus there was a near-war that occured that happened with neither side wanting to actually go to war after a rather bad case of friendly fire occured. So wars without warning was all the rage back then.

**It was either Me, Clandonia Prime, Dephire, Hataria and a few others... Clandonia and Dephire were ejected shortly after for other reasons. I was saved by a rather spur of the moment farewell speech and a last second vote (literally, it was down to the last second, I thought I was going to be ejected as well for a good 6 hours)...

***Though I do not like being catagorized as Autistic, as I do not wish to be given welfare, which in itself, is one of the traits, while at the same time, my autism is not severe enough to warrant welfare in the first place. In which brings back the question of why they bothered to label me if they can't and won't do anything about it?

Edit: Am I the only person who actually bothered to research Hataria's history before posting?Such as that he is in the same region as Euroslavia...

OCC: I also left GASN because I thought they were taking too soft of an approach on the CA
