03:58 am, Feb 23, The border Spain-Gibraltar, Spanish side

Every day many people were leaving CCPS for their daily work in the French enclave Gibraltar. A lot of people works in the French enclave, and lives within CCPS. Not too many does the opposite, and that's a problem for the CCPS.

The activity at the border crossing was higher than normal, at least for this time of the day. Men from the Guardia Civil (responsible for border crossings) were running all around, and a lot of them were carrying CETME Ameli light machine guns in place of their ordinary handguns.

When the clock turned to 04:00 am, the forces began to move large blocks of concrete to blockade the border crossing. They placed a large pile of blocks in each lane, and then topped it with barbed wire. The forces took place in trenches created by concrete blocks – aiming in both directions, and a Sargento primero nailed up a sign with the text Border Crossing Closed, Turn Around Immediately.

There would be no Spanish workers in Gibraltar today, and certainly not the opposite either. A lot of workplaces in Gibraltar will be empty today, and there may be some chaos in the French enclave. No inhabitants from CCPS was expected to be within Gibraltar at the time of the close of the border as their permission states that they must be back in CCPS before 10:00 pm. But if there are some people from Gibraltar on the wrong side of the border – they will have a hard time to get back to Gibraltar now.

SIC: The General-Secretary met with his military advisors on the dire situation in the EEU. The Antonov that got shot down had two 500kt Nuclear warheads on board, and they had to be retrieved ASAP. After much debate, he authorized use of the Spetsnaz to go in and retrieve them. Meanwhile, he had some people to contact.

Recently, one of our Transport planes was shot down over the Ukranian Carpathian Mountains. This plane had some 'precious cargo' on board and it must be returned immediately. If you do not comply, we will be forced to send in Spetsnaz forces to retrieve this cargo out of the wilderness. We hope for the sake of both of us that you send the remains of the plane and its cargo over. There are only two boxes on board, but if anybody looks inside of them, there will be serious reprocussions.

Your idle threats have fallen on deaf ears and are ultimately spoken out of foolishness, long before your letter reached my office the OISA and Army had already secured the crash site and searched the wreckage. I don't know how you could expect us not to search the contents of these wooden crates, in the crash the crates were destroyed and they must have been filled with bitter, harsh smelling Russian air because we found nothing that appeared to have at one point been inside of the destroyed crates. You may send a team to search the wreckage yourself if you do not believe us, but in the future there will be no need to issue such threats. The LPR will cost 5 Billion USD. Each weapon produced, regardless of type will cost you a total of 750 USD, much lower then the usual 2,000 USD. What say you to this?

THe two GAZ trucks pulled up on an abandoned dock in the Ukraine. The trucks backed up to the end where a trawler sat in wait. The crane on the boat lifted up the warheads and placed them on its deck. A group of men, including the mysterious hissing one, climbed aboard as the drivers begain their drive back to the Caucasus. The boat shipped off, heading straight across the sea towards its destination in Georgia. Then, it was off to Russia and freedom for Chechnya...

The German Military High Command has called Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann, makers of the highly popular Leopard 2 tank, to design a new tank for the Confederations Military. An estimated 12 Billion USD will be given to the project every other year for a period of 10 to 14 years for development. The High Command has stated that the tank should be similiar and if at all possible, should use the Current Leopard 2 Tank Chassis. Also the high command has stated that the main turret should be over 120 mm. All other details of the project have not been finalized.

In addition to this Project, the German High Command has slated that all 750 Leopard 2A6 Tanks to be Modernized. They have stated that the tanks, although still formidable in today's day and age, are lagging behind more modern tanks. Modernizations to the Entire Electronics will be done, along with portions of the Armor. The Armor Modernizations will make the tank lighter, but keeping it's current armor penetration rating. Other Modernizations will be done to the engine and transmission, further reducing the weight. This project will take at least 3 years to complete, most likely 4.

Basically, I'm taking Svalbard and converting it to a top-secret military base. Project Eclipse has commenced in Western Wales at a top-secret RAF testing facility. High Command, although mostly pleased with the EF-2000 Typhoon, determined that it needed something that could really go head-to-head with the Carloginian Raptor.

The XFA-99, as it is called now, is in the initial design stages. Reports are sketchy at the moment, but the aircraft is expected to be stealthy, maeuverable, and carry a large internal payload. RAFHC has refused to comment on the new fighter, although the following picture has surfaced on the Internet. Experts say that it was Photshopped.

The Crown today announced plans for the construction of a high-speed mag-line between the Animarnia region of Central South Africa and Tanzania via Uganda; specifically A line will be constructed and will run from Bria to Aura under Sudan via an underground tunnel of equivalent scale to the Anglo-French Eurotunnel. Then another line will run from Bukboa, Mwazana, Tabora, Dodoma, Dar Es Salaam this will Greatly increase speed at with fright and passengers can get from Uganda and Tanzania to the other provinces of the nation. As currently the only way from Uganda and Tanzania to the other regions is via passenger or freight aircraft. Animarnia already has a high speed rail system capable of reaching speeds of one hundred and twenty five miles per hour however the new mag lines will be able to run at over three hundred and fifty miles per hour. It his hoped to have 20% of the rail network switched over to mag lines by 2015; with the new tunnel expected to be finished the same year.

The new tunnel will create some 15,000 jobs alone; with track laying and other staff coming to 25,000 it is hoped these new lines will attract foreign investment; increase trade and improve the national economy. In all the project (including the tunnel) is set to cost $2 Billion Universal Standard Dollars over 10 years with a total of $20 Billion.

The Crown has also asked for foreign investment in other markets; including factories; Automobile manufacture, arms factories, water Resuvare construction and fast food chains. Fast food chains seeking to expand into the international market include McBurger Congo, Chucky Fried Chicken, and Antonio's Pizzeria. The Crown has also puts its long disused Shipbuilding facilities up for rent as Congo and Tanzania has several ports which with investment could be modernised for mass producing. This will allow Animarnia workers to produce ships for foreign firms and governments under the supervision. If successful it is believed this could inject 10,000 jobs for each facility that is modernised.

America is using Ionic drives currently for deep space missions and they have stated that it is fesable for current aircraft but would take a decade and a half to adapt it. NASA right now has a probe that i's passing jupiter that has an ionic drive on it.

We will try to get permission from the Balkan Union to pass through the Bosporus. When we're in the Black Sea we need to know if there is a port we should go to, or if we should stay out on the sea, launching air strikes from the carrier.

We are currently phasing out the F-4 from our Armed Forces. Although these craft are old, they have proven invaluable throughout the Confederations History. We are saddened through the governments orders to Phase them out, we feel that it is in our best interest to sell them off, rather then dismantle them. So we are looking for a nation or nations to buy them off us. They can be used in many roles, infact we use them currently as close-air support for ground troops. You could possibly even update them to be electronic warfare planes, or light bombers.

What you do with them is of no concern to us, but we wish they would be used rather then dismantled. The total cost for one F-4 is 6.5 Million USD. There is only 25 F-4s left so you'd better hurry.

Large Number of Refugees killed near Stratoy, Chechnya, RSFSR

About twenty miles south of the burning ruins of Stratoy, the Chechen defenders attempted yet again to hold back the Russians in an attempt for the Refugees to escape the country. A group of about two thousand refugees was heading down a road towards Georgia when three Su-27 Rooks flew overhead twice. On the first pass nothing happened, but the second pass produced one of the worst catastrophes of this war since the bombing of Moscow and St. Petersberg or the burning of Grozny. The aircraft dropped several airburst bombs containing an unknown chemical agent which then exploded and spread across the crowd. Although a small number escaped, most died. No cleanup effort has been made by either side so far, leaving the road a disgusting mass grave freezing in this cold Caucasus winter.

Our input? Our input is that the CCPS ships should not allowed to enter the Black Sea for the reason of national security. Already we have a pissed off Russia to our north and east that is "flexing its military muscle" in Chechnya as they would call it, or as I put it, the last couple spasms of a dying animal. They are murdering innocent women and children in Chechnya and now the CCPS, being the cowardly dogs they are, have decided that they will send forces to help Russia in the name of solidarity amonst the Communist brothers. It's like two bullies beating up on one small kid for the simple reason that they are too stupid to know anything else, eventually that small kid will land a punch so solid that the bullies will have no choice but to relent. Look at Russia's reaction, in the two previous wars in Chechnya they turned what was a mostly pro-Russian civilian population into rebel sympathisers who wanted to see an independent Chechnya. Given Russia's refusal to cooperate we are quite certain they are behind the actions of the one called Vladimir and given their new militaristic policies there is little doubt in our minds that Russia intends to follow up on previous threats and attack the peaceful people of the EEU. The OISA also has reason to believe that the KGB was behind the actions of Vladimir, with information provided to us by a foreign government speaking under the condition of anonymity we are 90% confident that Russia provided Vladimir with funds so that he could conspire against the EEU. My government views war with Russia as inevitable, the only question being when they strike and where. Keeping our reserves mobilised is killing our budget, but we don't see any other options at this time. We do not want CCPS ships in the Black Sea because that is yet another threat we must worry about if and when war breaks out with Russia however I understand that the needs of your nation and its people supercedes our needs.

Of course, I never told anyone the difference between "Yi Myeongbok" and "Gwangmu", but as is the custom in most Asian countries, Kings and Emperors were given three names (at least): the personal name (or birth name - only very close family referred to him by his family name); the temple name (sometimes era name, which is technically different than the temple name, but they serve similar purposes; in Korea and Japan, the temple name was the name by which most people referred to the Emperor); and the posthumous name (in countries, it is the longest name that anyone will ever have, as it includes all of his titles earned in life and death - so if some future Emperor really really liked you, he could perhaps burden you by adding a couple names onto your posthumous title; of course, for pratical reasons, most people forget it).

As Each of the F-23 Black Widow II's were delivered to the Animarnia state they were put right back into Animarnia factories for retrofit; arriving 6 per month gave little overhead if they wanted an operational 72 of them by the end of the year. The electronics were to be replaced on each unit with an Animarnia built Forward-looking radar with a range of 150 miles; Avionics were also updated with fly by wire systems to equate with the American F/A-18 standard. It certainly wouldn't be taking on F-22A Raptors any time soon but it would easily serve the needs of the Animarnia airforce and out perform the current Mig-31's on every conceivable scale. The aircraft wasn't perfect but it had few glaring flaws the missile drop bay would have to be altered to fix an issue that came up during initial combat testing where a missile could Jam. It was Estimated that each upgrade would take a month; with six arriving in the beginning of the month; modified and then rolled out into active service at the end of the month. Project Overview
The purpose of this project is to create Organic Carbon Nanotubes constructed of artificially engineered Spider silk. Engineering a spider silk gland to various creatures to attempt to get the best results it will create the Spider silk. Attempts to cross engineer a 'super spider' or implant it into other creatures such as a goat, silk worm, hagfish or other mammals so that this can be used on an industrial scale.

The engineered gland and spinneret will create gradient of protein concentration, pH, and pressure, which will drive the protein solution through liquid crystalline phase transitions, ultimately generating the required silk structure the actually silk structure is a mixture of crystalline and amorphous biopolymer. Reproducing the actual protein has been proven possible seven years ago; however engineering a spinneret has proven more difficult and due to lack of funding research was shelved. This is what we now hope to continue with modern advances in nanotechnolgy we believe it possible to now engineer an artificial spinneret into the gland. Woven together like fabric this will be incredibly strong and flexible similar to 'myrhril' of the fantasy genre. However if woven into nanotubeual like structures it is possible to create a spider silk plate which we believe could be 23 x stronger than base steel and have a melting point of roughly 7000 Kelvin but still retain a very light weight perhaps less than aluminium. If successful Animarnia will have cornered a new market in 'silk steel alloys'

The Project will take 5% from the Defence Budget; 5% from Health care Budget, 2% from Law and Order, and 80% from the Research and Development Budget coming to a total of $29.8 Billion of Funding Per Year for the next 10 Years. A total of 298 billion will have been spent on Project K when it is estimated to be complete and developed to a viable product. However estimates put the project entering experimental production in 5 years.

Today Animarnai put into development the XM1 SCRAP Top Down Tungsten Needle Shell; the new Shell will take 6 months to a year to develop and will use new Liquid Propelents and a Ramjet to increase muzzel Velocity. the Shell is estimated that it will leave the cannon at 2,900 meters per second though this is uncomfirmed and subject to change depending on the cannon firing the shell. the round will use a shaped cone explosive to shower a tank with 1000 2mm Tungsten Needles at high velocity in theory so damaging the tank as to make it inoperable,

tests have also began on a new Tank Gun in the size of 120mm-135mm whether of not this will be ETC or coventional is unknown at this time.

Even if your nation meets all these requirements, it does not mean that it is necessarily 'in'. Your nation will be reviewed by the members of alliance, and your admittance will be voted on.

Duties to Alliance
If a nation is accepted as a member of this alliance, they must....

Adhere to all decisions accepted through votes by council.

Not attack any member of the alliance as long as they are both in it.

Provide military aid to members of alliance if asked for.
Provide economic aid to members of alliance if asked for.
Note: Council may always vote on declining requests of individual members if need is insufficient.

Abolish all tariffs between members (including shipping costs).
Trade fairly with members - be helpful if desired product is unavailable for sale.

Remove espionage networks from members' nations.

Note: Council may always add by majority vote any further duties that members of alliance are responsible for.

The Council
The Council is basically each and every nation in the alliance. Since everyone in the alliance is automatically part of the Council, and thus able to vote on a number of different issues, this further displays the democratic style of the alliance.

The Council can change, add, and remove and rule in the alliance. Issues are decided by a majority vote. If there is a tie, nations explain their viewpoints again persuasively, and vote again. If there is still a tie, then the matter is unresolved for the time being, and each nation can do as they wish regarding the issue.

Exceptions
Two nations of the alliance can go to war if they conducted espionage in each other's country.

Two nations of the alliance can go to war if they agree with themselves that they must go to war.

Two nations of the alliance can go to war if a request from the other was purposefully broken, sometimes once, sometimes many times (i.e. hostilities increase to unbearable point)

Voting
If member of alliance does not follow 'rules' or 'duties' of alliance, Council could eradicate the nation from the alliance.

If the need arises, Council can vote on sending military/economic aid to member of alliance even when not asked for (i.e. rebellion, civil war)

Council can vote on mandatory military aid to countries around the world to ensure civil rights and peace.

Council can vote on making certain technologies illegal, others mandatory.

Council can vote on environmental issues (requiring greener technologies, decreasing pollution from factories, etc.)

Council can vote on changing requirements.

Council can vote on allowing nations in that do not meet requirements.


This is our government's proposal for the alliance, it can be debated with nations involved. We are thinking that the common currency inside the alliance can be called the 'credit'. Again, all of the listed ideas can be debated and changed before the alliance is actually established. We hope, that this alliance can make for a better and safer Europe, and ultimately, world.

OOC: Well, the standing army is for protection and military aid. Plus, I'm mainly considering this for the democratic states that are actually in Earth SYAE in Europe. All of them have standing armies. If someone joins SYAE in Europe and does not have a standing army, the 'Council' can vote to change that requirement. I'm afraid, that some countries are going to be like "Well, I don't have a 'standing army' so I don't need to help any members of the alliance!" since that would take money and effort to give military aid to others. Refusal to do so in turn increases hostilities in the alliance, and a general degradation of diplomatic relations in Europe.

On another note, I don't exactly see how standing armies threaten democracies....or how banks threateten democracies either.

Ministry of Defense Announces "Shopping List" for FY2008

The Ministry of Defense announced that they were planning on spending approximately 40 billion USD in the coming year on procurement of new weapons systems for the Army and Air Force. Highest on the list were new fighters, interceptors and fighter/bombers for the Air Force as well as a cheap MBT that the Army could field in mass numbers to counter a "foreign threat". The only possible threat at this time would be the RSFSR, who is currently practicing genocide in Chechnya and with 19,000 MBT's they are the only nation in Europe with more armored vehicles than the EEU. The Army had planned to purchase the M-95 Degmen from the Balkan Union however that plan fell through when the Balkan Union said they would only sell the EEU 25 vehicles, hardly enough to make a dent on any battlefield. In addition to a new, cheap MBT the Army is interested in fielding a new helicopter gunship and announced that it would be hosting a competition to test different systems, all of the world's largest manufacturers have been invited to send their products to be tested.

History
The AR-12 21C started out as the ALW-XM02 rifle; this was a complete failure as the round was too large; and kicked too much recoil except for the largest and strongest soldiers. Further development came in the form of the ANLW-XM03 rifle this featured a more dynamic and modularised design but still failed because of reliability issues. The Animarnian Government then purchased SA-L85A2 Rifles from the British and development of a indigenous rifle was abandoned for 2 years. But Animarnia Land Warrior Inc kept tinkering with the design even though there was no official government contract for any new combat rifle. While Developing the ALW- GLX8 Revolving Master Key which was based off the abandoned "Jack hammer" program with a larger 20mm solid steel magnum bore. Several new technologies were developed that were needed to reduce the extreme recoil from this weapon so that a soldier could fire it without having there arms ripped off and acquire the penetration to punch through 3 inches of solid steel. Through the development of its sister program the new AR-11 was born despite being a decent rifle in of itself. And providing a basic chassis for many variants it never really distinguished itself from the British SA-L85A2. Never leaving that rifles shadow so wasn’t picked up for a military contract but did acquire several Law Enforcement and Civilian Hunter contracts and is one of the most widely used rifles in the civilian market.

Still sales from this funded the development of the AR-12; said to so far be the pinnacle in Animarnia small arms though not well known for its small arms it is hoped that the AR-12 will serve the Animarnia armed forces and acquire international recognition

Overview
The AR-12-21C 21st Century Combat Rifle aims to be one of the most advanced rifles on earth. Boasting the reliability and rugged durability of the Russian Kalishnakov with the accuracy, speed, and ability of the British SA-L85A2. Along with something just a little bit Animarnian. The result was the AR-12.

The AR-12 is a completely modular weapon; meaning it can be altered quickly and in a short space of time. Including the barrel. The moving parts of the gun are made from the finest steel making it a little more on the expensive side that some modern rifles but this has produced exceptional reliability in testing the rifle fired 15,000 rounds without a single jam. The frame of the rifle is constructed from Carbon plastic making it exceptionally durable while the weapon is still relatively light and maintaining low recoil and overall strength. This gives the weapon manoeuvrability even in cramped urban combat. The pistol grip is also designed to be ergonomic so it feels natural in the shooters hands further improving accuracy

The actually barrel is equipped with a muzzle break to reduce recoil and is threaded to allow the addition of silencers, flash suppressers and many other accessories including room for a Bayonet. The stock of the weapon is telescopic and can be extended inside the stock are two springs that help reduce recoil and improving accuracy. The weapon has one underside rail that can equip a 40mm Grenade launcher, shotgun or Metal storm launcher.
Two integrated side-rails allow the shooter to mount a flashlight and laser sight onto the rifle at the same time or other equipment; a top rail also allows the shooter to mount a powerful telescopic sight.

Loading is done at the back underside of the rifle; a magazine is loaded into the rear of the rifle and pushed and locked into place. The charging handled located on the right side of the rifle is then manually pulled back; by doing this a round is extracted from the magazine and loaded into the breach. The shooter then releases the charging handle and the rifle is ready to fire. When the last round has been fired, the bolt stays back. When reloading the weapon, the shooter would insert the magazine and tap the bolt release, causing it to slap forward and chamber the first round automatically as if the shooter had pulled the charging handle. This allows for much quicker reload times, making for a more effective overall weapon. The spent casing is ejected on the right hand side from the top of the rife. The actual magazine is constructed from black Balkalite; readily and cheaply available and durable. The Magazine can carry 30 Beowulf rounds or 45 7.62mm rounds. Though the weapon does have the option of being able to attach a specially developed 150 round steel drum magazine.

The selector switch is located on the left side of the weapon above the pistol grip. This allows for extreme ease of access, allowing the shooter to switch rate of fire with the flick of the thumb, without taking his hand off of the pistol grip. The switch has four settings: 'SAFE', 'SEMI', 'BURST, and 'AUTO'. The weapon's burst function is a two-round burst, allowing for greater accuracy

The actual trigger is designed for an ultra smooth pull increasing accuracy by allowing the shooter to squeeze of rounds with ease. Behind the trigger is an ammunition counter that displays the total number of rounds currently available in the magazine.

Recoil is handled using a Long stroke gas operated piston with a Rotating bolt; much like the SA-80, M-1 and AK-47 rifles however the AR-1221C also comes with a counter bolt to reduce recoil; the rifles also uses rails along with its recoil spring guide rod and long stroke piston. This helps keep the carrier in line while still leaving ample room for the casing to be expelled. The butt of the rifle also comes with a rubber plate so that the shooter won't feel the recoil as much.

Because the weapon is Modular like the FN-2000 field stripping is very easy; one needs only to remove the dust cover, withdraw the recoil spring, and pull out the bolt and piston to field strip the AR-1221C.

The Sight of the weapon is a combination of Iron sights and SUSAT II; a recent development in lenses allow the new SUSAT type sight to use Tritium based night Vision and thermal infrared for targeting and comes with a 200x digital and 15x optical zoom feature. The Sight further extends the range to 800 meters with accuracy. For missions where equipping a full sighting system is advised the weapon also comes with an integrated Blue Dot sight like that seen on the FN P-90 PDW

Future Development
Research is as always ongoing but the AR-12 will definitely see service it is hoped for the next 10 years and will hopefully replace most mainline rifles inside Animarnia if it proves to be as it should be. Future development might include Frechette ammunition or aluminium or silk steel alloy ammunition as the weapon including the barrel is moduleized it is possible to replace and machine new parts as needed.

Ammunition
The .50 Beowulf measures 12.5 x 42 RB and has an 11.2-mm diameter rim with a 13.5-mm body. Two types of bullets can be chambered the .325 grain (21.1 g) hollow-point or the 400 grain (25.9 g) flat-nosed soft point. Muzzle velocities achieved with these bullets are respectively 2,050 fps (650 m/s) and 1,900 fps (603 m/s). The magazine is has been modified to carry greater capacity than the 5.56mm NATO M16 magazine, the Beowulf magazine has been modified by carefully bending the feed lips to reliably feed the larger cartridge. The Beowulf can regularly penetrate Level III body armour with reliability with the .400 grain penetrating Level IV body armour in some instances

The 7,62mm measures 7.62mm x 54RB with a Rim of 11.30 mm with a weight of 9,6-11,8 grams gives the round a muzzles velocity of 780-870 meters per second. This cartridge is the most common in the world being used on the AK-47 for many years; it was decided to use the 7.62mm over the 5.25mm NATO because of the desires to have increased penetration.

We would be willing to host testing of the AR-12 assault rifle in the arctic tundra's of northern Norway. The Scandinavian Mountains are perfect to test ruggedry in extremely cold conditions, and Trollheimen, an arctic tundra that is mostly flat, is located inside the mountains.

We will display necessary security measures so that the public can feel safe in the area, and keep a general watch over you, but other than that, we will not interfere. We require no cost or fee for you testing - however, maybe when in the future we want to buy the AR-12, there can be some kind of decreased price for us? We're not saying that the decreased price in the future is final or anything, just a proposal.

The Scandinavian State of Futuris

Today, The Scandinavian State of Futuris declared a 15-year plan to create a very green Scandinavia. It was proposed by the Leader, Bjorn Gustavsson, and voted and accepted by the Scandinavian Legislature several days ago. The plan includes, among other things, totally eliminating the need for oil, by designing and building alternative energy transportation, as well as huge alternative energy power plants across the nation. The production of oil in the Northern Seas will continue for export, but the nation will be virtually independent of oil. Usage of coal and natural gas will also decrease sharply, and if everything goes well, they will too, be obsolete in the nation as an energy source.

The R&D team will make announcements to the public about certain advances made, but the technology will not be immediately available to other countries.

Other things in the plan include phasing in mass recycling habits into the public, and putting high fees and taxes on polluting factories and junkyards. Heavy fines will be put on anyone who pollutes, be it even littering in the park.

One of the biggest things that the plan will do, is an extreme conservation of the territorial waters that are house the major fishing industry of Scandinavia. The Department of Defense announced a new Naval Building Program today. The Royal Navy will continue with several projects which are currently under progress. The Royal Navy will be centered around two Carrier Battle Groups and one Amphibious Assault Battle Group.

The Carrier Battle Group will be build around the Future Carrier, dubbed Project 001. Each Battle Group will further have up to 5 Type 45 Destroyers, 5 of the new MSVD (Medium Sized Vessel Derivative) dubbed project 002 and 5 Sundown Anti mining Warfare Ships. For further protection 5 Astute Class SSN will be included.

The Amphibious Battle Group will ensure that the United Kingdom will continue to be able to project its power abroad if necessary. The centre of the Battle group will be two Ocean Class LPH Ships (one to enter service in one year). These vessels will be supported by a flotilla of 5 Type 45 Destroyers and 5 MSVD. 5 Sundown Anti Mining Ships and 4 Hunt Class Anti mining Ships will complete the surface part of the Battle Group. Submarine Guidance will be given by 4 Astute Class SSN.

The Submarine Force will be expanded as well. One additional Vanguard Class SSBN will be build. A Nuclear Deterrent Submarine protection Force of 5 Astute Class Submarines will be constructed. An Independent Submarine Force of 8 Astute Class SSN will complete the Royal navy of the 21st. Century. The First Sea Lord estimates that the project will take 5 to 7 years.

24 Since the last Mobilzation orders went out, the Chancellor decreed that more units would be mobilized as well. The truth behind this operation has not been told to anyone outside of the Government and no official is talking. Using some official and un-official channels, The Chancellor managed to make an Executive Order. Executive Order 4.15.6, which stated that it was within the Chancellor's Power to deploy special forces where ever he/she wished, although it was still limited by Reichstag. The Chancellor made quick use of his new found power.

His first use of the power was to call the 33rd Fallschirmjäger and 35th Fallschirmjäger Battalions into action. Their name was a testimate to the Fallschirmjäger Soldiers who fought for the Third Reich in last century. Although they weren't paratroopers, many of them had para-training. They were to be used as advanced troops for the Operation in which the Chancellor had been preparing for days.

Until now, the project, charged with modernising the Yamato Class Super Battleships, have been mostly confined to theoretical work, since valuable resources were tied down in urgent production needs. However, with the end of the arms buildup came a large influx of fresh funds, and together they did the trick.

Project Director Admiral Isamu Koga has prepared preliminary plans for the Yamato Kai Class Battleships. Although the same basic designs are used, the new version will feature modern armour, advanced electronic and fire control systems, and most importantly, Vertical Launch Systems in place of the 460mm guns, as shown in the design concept below.

Right now, it is hoped to place up to 400 Mk41 VLS cells at front and another 200 cells at the rear. They would be installed in 12 modules of 50 cells each, at where the 460mm guns were originally placed. These are shown as lighter coloured strips. The Yamato's anti-aircraft guns, though numerous, are completely outdated. Decision has been made to replace all of them with 8 units of the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System, shown as bumps on the illustration. No other weaponry will be installed.

The envisioned role for the Yamato Kai, as outlined in the directives given by the Imperial Military Technology Office, is a mobile launch platform. It is planned to have the ability to launch up to 600 cruise missiles near simultaneously, thus eliminating the need to invest in stike aircrafts and carriers by the Maritime Force.

However, due to this the Yamato Kai will be extremely vulnerable to attacks. Although it is possible to fire Standard Missiles from the VLS cells, due to its size the Yamato Kai cannot hope to survive a concentrated on its own, especially if submarines are involved. A separate Command and Control Ship may be necessary to direct the missiles effectively.

Kiwiland's Active Camouflauge Programme, dubbed Kenmu 3, has finally kicked off. The corner stones of this project are Sony and other companies' Organic Light Emitting Diodes technology, and the Uiniversitry of Tokyo's past efforts.

The project is authorised to spend up to $12 billion this year in pursuing this goal.

BIKINI Status has been raised to Special Black due to several unsetteling intelligence reports from Germany. The Carrier Battle Group will be put out to sea within 24 hours. The German Confederation is proud to announce that they first working Prototype of the Leopard III Main Battle Tank has been finished. It will be used in Field Tests in a secret location to assess the pros and cons of it before it is sent back to the Developers for further work. The 2nd Federal Naval Squadron, led by the Kirov Class Battlecruiser Admiral Ushikov, sat in wait off the coast of Panama. Other than aircraft, no other war machine in history has played such a role in combat as the Main Battle tank in the 20th century. When nations go to war these large armoured beasts roll out onto the battlefields and slug it out we see this continuing long into the 21st Century. The Current Pinnacle of Tank Design is the German Leopard II and the American M1 Abrams; to date no other tank has compared to these two behemoths on the battlefield. The Animarnia Ground Defence Forces make use of the Russian built T-90 Main Battle tank but rumours of a new main line battle tank in the works have been flying around for some 3 years with officials neither confirming or denying its existence. Some corespondents have said we would simply be importing German Leopards or other Western tanks such as the Challenger II or M1 Abrams but others have said this tank will be completely new altogether and absolutely superior to all competitors.

Not much is known; at this time or even if this project is real; but a few officials speaking with guarantees of anonymity have said that Animarnia IS developing a new main battle tank. They refused to go into details citing national security and concern for there own lives but they said that several technologies currently in development would be applied to the new tank making it an unstoppable monster on the battlefield.

As said earlier much has been debated and rumoured some circles claim the new tank will have a coil gun or some other form of magnetic propellant; where as others have been more conservative saying a 120mm Electro Thermal Chemical cannon will be used. Little is known at this time other than; "it will turn an Abrams into smoking metal without too much trouble" to quote our anonymous source.

Rumour has it than the tank will also have a number of secondary weapons available to it including an Active Defence System. The armour is another matter of contention amongst defence analysts some say it will be very similar to the Abrams and Challengers Cherubim armour scheme others claim a composite of some kind. The word' "plasma' has also been thrown around in some circles but which is correct in anyone's guess but all agree its going to be something special and a little bit Animarnian.

The Rumours all agree that the tank will be as mobile as most current main battle tanks if not more so and be eighty tons or fewer fully loaded and will be able to carry External tanks. Hotly debated (other than if it actually exists) is whether the tank will be exported to foreign nations. As you can imagine getting a comment on this was difficult but our source said when posed this question. - "Good friends of Animarnia will be able to purchase the tank if they can afford it; but there will be cheaper alternatives". Which seems to imply the tank will be quite expensive; how much this project is costing the taxpayer is not known but also that there may be a cheaper version available in the future this seems to generate more questions than answers about the future of Animarnian warfare.

His Imperial Majesty reminds that the territorial sovereignty of the Weon Dynasty {Mongolia} shall not be infringed without their explicit permissions, as has been guaranteed by the Han Emperors since the 18th Century. That said, we ponder the reason why forces of Kiwiland should seek to project itself where its presence can neither be guaranteed nor assured. We caution your assumptions of tacit silence, as the proposal has been swamped with numerous other affairs (I'm on Spring Break - and I'm with family). For security purposes, 120 Apaches will be accompanying them, although all are on strict rules of engagement. It is hoped that they will be able to find more concentrated groups of refugees, and take them back to their main base of operations, while the helicopters cover the larger expanse of lands in between.

For nearly 100 years, our two nations have been separated over an action that happened in 1915, what you call the Armenian Genocide. While the rest of the world, including yourselves, believe it was a genocide; we cast a cold shoulder. The fact that the French Imperial Government collapsed is one of the many signs that things were amiss in France. With a strong Nuclear Force lying in port only 100 miles from our homesoil, barely 150 miles from our capitol, we can not allow chaos to reign in France. If a madman decides to launch these weapons, we would be in deep trouble.

I would agree with your protests if our actions were pure imperialistic, but they are not. You claim we are imperialistic, and you suggest we are responsable fro India's actions in Bhutan. The response is aggressive - it must be; otherwise it is ignored, and then we become belligerent. The fact that the British government has- instead of sending civil advisers to France - insisted to send armed forces to a region that was otherwise stable, if only otherwise unproductive. The United Kingdom demonstrates to us a lack of restraint and civil minded action - the path to war is the most practiced and least cherished of state affairs, and it is not to be employed so slightly to expand into a neighbor's territory to restore his order and otherwise open the calls to hostility whereby the French only learn to distrust the British instead of favor their civil administration in war. As far as this madman, your imagination vexes us, as we have seen no reason to perceive a nuclear threat from a state that has otherwise slipped into obscurity.

And to defend the actions of your former colony is inexcusable. The local monarchy is unable to restrain itself from pursuing reasonable civil functions, instead choosing the heated quest to solve their crises by force than by influence. The Han Empire shares the desire to remain at peace, and therefore we hope that this common desire shall be sufficient to turn this situation from hostility to peace and better wealth for the both of us. And leave the area to fall into Anarchy and Civil War? We think you don't understand the situation fully. If there was a civil war happening on your borders wouldn't you do something? I would think you would do the most prudent thing and stop all fighting between the groups and help them work together. To do that without military action would require weeks, possibly months of work. All the while they are still fighting each other. I am sorry to say, but that doesn't work with us.

Although we don't quite understand why the British are being so damn aggresive. We didn't order for Air-strikes to be done, nor did we blow up French Military Equipment. We have actually been stockpiling it so that when this is all over we can return it the proper authorities.

Also to answer your question on why they aren't invading us. Because they know quite well that they would suffer a defeat that would Rival the Franco-Prussian War of 19th Century.

In more strange news, three attack helicopters assaulted a loyalist base in the city of Santiago in Varaguas Province. They lacked markings and managed to destroy a major refueling and supply base for the loyal forces. A spokesman for the Loyalist forces admitted that no air defense was up since it wasn't known the rebels owned any of these helicopters. Loyalists are now looking into how the rebels came across and acquired these.

AP, Panama-In the wake of the rebel push north, a UPWS supply ship heading to Panama City was attacked and sunk by a group of five attack helicopters. Like the first attack, the helicopters came from out of nowhere and struck fast. The Loyalists in Panama are growing extremely frustrated with these unnannounced helicopter attacks and have sworn vengence against those piloting them.

In SYAE it was formerly a socialist nation part of the Union of people's and worker's states, therefore giving the US and its capitalism no right to intervene on a socialist country it has never had control over.

I am still confused why the US wants to get the commies out of Panama when it is Hardline Commies fighting moderate socialist rebels. It is already Commies vs. Commies.

One condition...It is split in two. The Panamanian Gov't will control the Provinces of Panama, Colon, Cocle, Darien and the Territory of San Blas along with the Archipelago de las Perlas. You get the provinces of Herrera, Los Santos, Veraguas, Bocas Del Toro, and Chiriqui.

Not necessarily...the territories named for him are all Loyalist Controlled, so if he wanted to move in and take them, he very well could. It might not stand well with the rebels, but it could work.

Uh, you have totally missed the majority of Africa (well, me and Animaria) in that regard...seeing how the UASR (Socialist) is in the region, and we coulc always go there for uniting a better Africa...seeing how me and Animaria have been pretty capitalist so far in this regard (my nation is brimming with it-lasseiz-faire ftw).

The Imperial Cabinet has released a new document, labeled - "Guardians of Civilization" - which serves as a public document open to all countries. In it, the document classifies countries as viewed by the Han Empire to be civilized or in some capacity extensively philanthropic in its policies. And leave the area to fall into Anarchy and Civil War? We think you don't understand the situation fully. If there was a civil war happening on your borders wouldn't you do something? I would think you would do the most prudent thing and stop all fighting between the groups and help them work together. To do that without military action would require weeks, possibly months of work. All the while they are still fighting each other. I am sorry to say, but that doesn't work with us.

Although we don't quite understand why the British are being so damn aggresive. We didn't order for Air-strikes to be done, nor did we blow up French Military Equipment. We have actually been stockpiling it so that when this is all over we can return it the proper authorities.

Also to answer your question on why they aren't invading us. Because they know quite well that they would suffer a defeat that would Rival the Franco-Prussian War of 19th Century.

France is completely harmless, as long as it does not bring hostilities upon its neighbors. Ergo, there is no reason to intervene with military forces unless they do so to your country. There is no justified reason to say that the French government - however inept and incompetent it is - requires your military intervention. They neither asked for it nor endorsed it. The fact that French forces currently oppose your invasion of their territory further testifies to your illegitimate presence in their country.

As to why the French do not invade Germany - you ought to remember the lessons learned in your own two wars against them and their allies. The times have changed since then, but as they have had every reason not invade your territory, you still and remain without just cause in invading them.


The only change that will matter is your cessation of hostilities with the French government and their forces. If you stop your aggression, we can consider mediating any conflict that your governments may possess, as we have no interest in waging war for the petty mistakes of your foreign and defense policies. However, if you wish to revert to the ways of your predecessors, we will aptly force you to accept their sovereignty.
