DEMAND OF EXPULSION OF BRITISH LONDINIUM

Due to the disgusting actions, which have taken place in Cazelia by the troops from British Londinium, we have to immediately expel BL from the Global Union of Socialist Nations. We cannot have these horrific animals in our organization.

If this demand of expulsion of BL is voted against, consider this letter as our withdrawal from GUSN. We're not going to side with these bastards.

We are already voting on the issue, and results so far indicate that the pro-BL expulsion is winning by a large margin.

In the wake of the British Londinium situation, our country feels that it is time to make a formal statement of friendship with the GUSN and its members. Although we do not specifically espouse socialism, we are virulently opposed to militarism and imperialism in all of their forms and are appalled at their actions.

Effective immediately, we will declare a state of friendship and solidarity with all members of this alliance, and henceforth any decisions made by the GUSN will have our full support. Even if we are not members, and cannot be, we support your nations' struggle and will see the situation through to its end. We are your friends and will help you resist any enemies of your just cause.

OOC: i applied awhile ago, and i was wondering if i've been accepted. not trying to be annoying or anything.

We, the Oppressed People of Xenofungus, would formally like to apply for acceptance into the GUSN. For a long time, we have toiled at the hands of the oppressive capitalists but have realized our position, rallied up, and beat the oppressors out of our country. We modeled our decision-making process, for it cannot be rightly called a government, after the true communism that all oppressed feel the right to, with all decisions made by the people, wholly and truly. We abhor war, but many capitalist countries see us as the scourge of mankind for not falling down and supporting a select few, the elite "entrepreneurs " who suck the life out of a country like a leach and never give back. Our toils have been hard and many, but we have stood strong. But we believe that certain countries are noticing this and are frightened by our growing numbers. It would be a great relief if we could gain the support of a coalition such as yourself with similar ideals to bolster our strength so that we can stand strong against all enemies.

We, the new nation of Joseph King salute all socilist nations in the world and all socialist nations members of this union. We wish to join this organization. Please join us in our quest to spread our views as socialist governments to other Capitalist nations so that we rid the world of the rampant immoral Capitalism that has run over it. We in Joseph King are thinking of putting a resolution in the U.N banning monopolies from the world but because we are a relatively new nation we need some help in creating this resolution so any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are sad to inform that we must depart this alliance, as it has proven to be inefective in it's goal of uniting socialists.

We hold no grudges to anyone and wish to depart on good terms with the member nations, we can only hope you understand our reasons.

I guess I'm in control of the GUSN, under orders from TWSP, until, of course, I fix this alliance up. My first move would be to accept British Londinium's and Joseph King's request to join this alliance. My second step would be to put a number of possible ideas up for vote on the GUSN forum (link: http://z6.invisionfree.com/GUSN/index.php?) and my third step would be to get those ideas into a new constitution for the GUSN.

Our nation is eager to unite with other socialist states, as our nation is wholly concerned with the welfare of our citizens, especially education and social welfare. Official USSW Notice of Withdrawal From the Global Union of Socialist Nations, Disapproval of GUSN Policies of Late
Comrades, I must admit that when the People's Sovereign Republic of British Londinium was first admitted into the United Federation of Allied Nations and then readmitted into the GUSN, I had equal parts hope and suspicion about the matter. However, so far only the latter has been confirmed given recent events, and so I must join my Lone Alliance and Soviet friends in expressing my gravest doubts about this organization's remaining viability. I won't plead innocence myself, but it seems to have simply become too aggressive; far beyond what the needs of defending the Revolution actually require in this age of powerful and prosperous Socialist nations of every subtype.

Hence, I must tender my nation's withdrawal from this Union. Know that we consider most of you all friends, whatever your mistakes; but we must acknowledge mistakes as such all the same. May our nations remain on fair terms even despite this unfortunate turn of events, for letting one nation's irresponsibilty ruin such would indeed be a tragedy. Irresponsiblity which, I can assure all, will be considered for dealing with when the time for that is properly come; in a manner fairly and freely decided by those relevant to it.

OCC: If i could say a few words, i dont blame the GUSN, but i think that maybe you could keep an eye on the wars your fellow members are in and maybe be able to put some input in there.

We, the people of Xenofungus, agree with several of the other comments stated by (former) members. We do not agree with the practices of Britisih Londinium and, although we do approve of the Union as a whole, the readmission of BL has made us consider resigning unless some action is taken to remove such a warlike nation from this union. I would also like to state that while the charter states that "All Member-states are also asked (but not obliged) to get rid of their Nuclear arsenals," this does not mean that they should get rid of them by attacking a neighboring nation. The charter also states that we only support nations that have been unjustly attacked, not those who provoke attacks.

Comrades, I urge you in the strongest terms possible to expel the People's Sovereign Republic of British Londinium from our ranks. The unchecked imperialism and human rights abuses of that nation are not only an insult to socialism but to the human race. These Londinians hide behind the facade of being a caring socialist government even as they oppress and kill millions around the globe. This nation is a stain on the GUSN and must be cleansed from our numbers. We have given them a second chance, and they have failed. We must act accordingly. Remove this cancer from the body of the GUSN, and show the world that we do not take kindly to imperialism.

ICCD remains neutral in regard to Union Politics.

While ICCD does feel that acts of B.L. have been questionable - since there has not been an internal review by the alliance into the matters to seperate the fact from the fiction - or that of the media tabloitizing and the actual practices then it may be inprudent to reject an alliance member without thourough review.

I think that moving to change the policies and the practices voluntarily with potential oversight to prevent future issues should be sufficient.

However once again ICCD abstains from voting due to the political nature of the vote rather than an advisorial nature.

-such as a moritorium on prohibitied acts such as waging offensive war
-deployment of forces to sercure B.L. and report activities within B.L. to gauge compliance with voluntary entered protocals
- as well as hearing B.L.'s view of the events and issues and how they feel it would be best to proceed. While ICCD feels B.L. may have negative impacts on the Union ICCD also feels that B.L. may have postitive assets to add to the Union as well, and we should communicate to resolve any ideological or political issues which may exist within the Union.
