OOC: This is continuing from Trinity Blood's Coalition of Planets thread. Due to a Moderator accusation of being Seauest, Trinity is no longer among us. I was chosen, as co owner of the station said meeting was taking place on, to take over. Its till open, just, this is a meeting of peace, not a meeting of war. Please continue in such a vein.

IC:

The meeting was scheduled for a week ago. But, due to Kajeenith and his Void, The nation of Trinity Blood ceased to exist. fortunatly, The station was spared. The guests had been given free lodgings for the week, while order was restored.

Today was the day, the day the meeting was to continue. Order had somewhat shakily been restored. The Isans were roaming the halls with the Ri-ans as security.

The tables were set back up, everything was in readiness.

O'aka the 63rd, dressed very finely hobbled with his cane. He would be the first to arrive. He arrived to find his grandson, the 65th, already there.

Soon, The Delegates should arrive.

they both stood by the entrances, ready to great the Delegates as they arrived.

"I dunno what to do, do you?" The elder asked the younger.
"Does any government ever truely know what its doing? Just blunder along like you do, or people will loose confidence in you." The younger told the elder.
"Fine, you handle things then." The elder said.

A few minutes later, the opened the doors to allow people to come.

Arrival Point, Constantine Spaceport

Through the evanescent shades of black and through the brilliant clothe of stars that mapped out hyperspace shot the courier ship Desolate. It was a fast model ship designed for fast hyperspace entry and overhauled in its engines for maximum speed. It had already broken a few intergalactic records for speed, even beating the old Kessel run in times that would have made Han Solo do flips. She was of sleek design and had an oily look to her, which by coincidence matched her passenger, Count Alfred Mann.

"How soon until docking?" Mann's regal voice asked the pilot.

"Soon sir, we're being hailed now."

"My Count, are you sure we're not allowed to bring weapons?" asked Imperial Knight Vespasian. The red armored-black cloaked knight sat holding his lightsaber reverently.

"You 'glory-boys' and your toys," said another man sitting next to him, wearing all black armor and a white cloak. "Its too bad you guys haven't developed your hand-to-hand techniques very well. It would be a shame to mention the record."

"You damned Shinigami got lucky on the last match!" Vespasian countered.

"Both of you silent," commanded Alfred Mann. "You're to be my honor guard, and I expect you to act as if this were the court of his Excellency."

"Yes Count Mann," both grudgingly said together.

Count Mann stood at exactly 6ft high and was moderately broad in the shoulders. Due to his long silky, some said oily, black hair and bright green eyes set beside his natural good looks he had become a source of gossip among many of the ladies of the Thrashian court. Besides being a womanizer however, he was a skilled politician.

"Constantine Control, this is pilot-captain of the Thrashian delegation ship Desolate. Requesting permission to board," the pilot sent through the comm.

ooc: I didn't feel like writing up a new entry post. *shrug*

They were properly docked weapons were secured, and they were lead to the meeting hall.

"Greetings, Count Mann." The 63rd said.

He lead the way to the tables.

Various staff members ran about. The occasional good looking young woman stopped to get a better look at Count Mann.

"Man, the way the Trinity people just went poof. That was weird..." Naruto said, his wife Hinata by his side.

"Indeed. But not to worry. It appears that the diplomatic meeting is still going on." Hinata replied softly.

"Yeah. It'd be a good one if it weren't for that baka Remiel." Naruto whined.

Hinata just giggled and pushed her husband out the door and down to the hall. "Be nice now! I don't want you two to act stupid!"

"Yes, ma'am!" Naruto whined.

Count Alfred Mann stepped of his shuttle and into the hangar bay of the Constantine Spaceport. It was certainly a peasant-like place, but then he couldn't always assume for there to be the best at all times. One had to give up certain pleasures and vices on occasion. Count Mann wore black knee-high boots, white silk trousers, a gold jerkin, and a red overcoat with a black half-cape over his left shoulder. He smiled as he stepped fully out of the ship.

Imperial Knight Vespasian and Shinigami Captain Ziminar stood on either side of him and were following on his heals. Vespasian's lightsaber hung from its usual clasp on his hip and jingled as he stepped. Ziminar's katana sword was tied in position next to his drawing arm. Both were alert in case of any sort of mis-chance trap or other. Not that it was to be expected; but one could not be too overly cautious.

"Relax gentlemen," said Count Mann, sensing their uneasiness. "I wouldn't have allowed us to land if I thought there was any harm."

"Of course sir," said Vespasian. Ziminar just shrugged and relaxed, almost as if disappointed. Count Mann walked up to someone who looked like a greeter or servant-type.

"I am Count Alfred Mann of Thrashia. Where is the meeting going to take place? I would like to be escorted there immediately."

"Remind me to thank his Majesty for another wonderful time. Everytime I get sent off on a diplomatic mission, something always goes awry."

Doron stopped in an abandoned hallway and looked up and down both directions. "Now where the hell am I?! Damn it. I'll just grab the first person I find and ask for directions. I knew I shouldn't have left my tour group. Be my luck, the first thing I run across be a Kython or Daemon. Lovily way to start a peace summit. With a fraggin fight."

He actualy saw two people. Niether of which was human. One was an Aquamarinian being carried on the back of a four armed gareen.

The Aquamarinian tapped the Gareen, and it stopped.

"What are you doing in this backwards hallway?" it asked, vibrating the air to simulate a human voice.

An entire species vanishing? Well, Caraliston Vespeterium had seen it before a number of times. Disturbing and unnerving as it may be, the creatures that had taken over the conference and this O'aka 65th (a title or name? Caraliston would have to check) seemed trustworthy enough.

Before him loomed the station on which the meeting was to be held. His large star shaped ship hovered in the void of space. 'Send this message.' he ordered.

'Honourary delegates and hosts. We wish to descend upon your station now. We will be there in a matter of moments and hope to contribute to your conference. Thank you.

Posted from old Thread as a continuation...

Anthony was finishing up some of the required paperwork (although it no longer actually demanded the use of actual paper) for the construction of the block of area being planned for the embassy grounds. He applied his electronic signature to the forms and forwarded copies to the Constantine engineers. He checked the chronometer and discovered it was almost time to attend the conference being held in the habitation dome.

“Der’Dron, I am leaving for the conference. Please inform the captain I am leaving the ship.”

“Shall I assemble an escort?”

“Heavens no, if we did that, we would tell Trinity Blood we don’t trust them to keep us secure. I can handle myself if anything happens.”

“I see, I will inform the captain. Safe journey.”

Anthony left the Diplomatic ship docked in the port area while the embassy grounds and private dock was under construction. He decided it would be a fine day to walk to the habitation dome. He wanted to take in the sights of the station and figured a nice leisurely walk would be perfect for it.

Anthony disappeared into the throng of workers and other people crowding the halls.

Anthony watched as the guards patrolled before continuing his walk to the habitation dome, the setting for the meeting.

He thought back to his conversation with Mr O'aka a week earlier where he offered the Empire's assistance if it was needed. He noticed several areas where repairs were being made but that was only along the out of the way halls, the main through fares have already been repaired and it was diffacult to see the patch jobs from when The Void infiltrated the station, taking away the Trinity Blood natives.

Anthony waited a moment as a group of aliens exited from a storefront, chattering in their own tongue. He let them pass before continuing along with his stroll.

Count Mann looked around the table before he seated himself. Vespasian and Ziminar had taken up a standing-guard position behind his intended seat and were like statues. The table was surrounded by many different nationalities, people whom Thrashia had, if Count Mann remembered correctly, fought or had alliances with in the past. It would be an interesting meeting to say the least.

Sitting next to his seat was a fellow with bright blonde hair and an eager expression. Mann shrugged and sat in his seat.

"And where might you be from sir?" Mann asked.

The navigator winced as a large crystal crashed to the deck of the skyship. There wasnt a chance that he wooden deck would crack the diamond-hard powerstone, but still, having a small nuclear weapon tossed around in front of your face, no matter how unlikely it was to explode, is not an experience for the frayed of nerve or the weak of bladder.
"L-lady Vanima, please!"

The green-clothed figure on the deck shot a glance at him, from this distance her red eye stood out far more than the green, which tended to unnerve people even more. The navigator went silent.

"We are conducting important research, captain-"

"Lieutenant..."

"-Lieutenant. ~desu Im sure a man of your rank can appreciate the possibilities of the new prototype thaum cannon we are generously installing for you. ~desu"

"Wasnt the first one a prototype a week ago?"

"We've made some improvements. ~desu The beam is far more focused now, giving us much less leakage. Or do you ENJOY magical mutations? ~desu"

"Um, um, no mi'lady, its just that...isnt this supposed to be a PEACEFUL mission?" The navigator looked blankly ahead, pretending to study the stars in order to avoid the stare.

"So? Nothing wrong with installing a shiney new weapon on the way. It'll help keep everybody nice and peaceful. ~desu" Kaima nodded to herself, "And besides, the Archmage knows there are so many things I still have to do. ~desu The next batch of guns arrived while we were in transit, and I wont be able to test them until we get back, so I have to do my work here. ~desu"

"But...cant you be...more...careful?"

"Oh hush, theres no chance of any harm coming to anybody on this ship. ~desu I'm here, arent I?"

The navigator sighed. That hole was going to take a long time to repair.

Grand Master Draco had led them and they'd largely been successful; even though they had not run into any real jedi, only a few padawons and Coredian troops.

Hinata watched the Thrashians with a practiced eye. She noted the Imperial Knight had considerable strength in the Force, while other guard, well, she thought the Shinigami traditionalist with the garb and katana, though her training taught her to never underestimate anyone.

"Well, we did suffer, but no lives were in vain." Naruto allowed. "Now we're working on the rebuilding aspects."

The Shinigami would feel a hidden strength coming from Naruto, one that meant 'Mess with me and you're dead'. And if he dared to probe even deeper, he would begin to notice something very interesting...

Their reception party was the man in robes decorated with symbols of all kinds. Some were magic, some were of science, and where they met, they formed new symbols. He stepped out of the Screen.

"Greetings, and welcome to the constantine. I am Xos, The Magi-master of Energy and Magiscience. The Summit is this way." He said. He turned and lead them down the hall.

He stopped at an office.

"No dangerous weapons of any kind, including magic, or Psionic powers. Of course I don't really expect anyone possesed of those powers to willingly wear an Anti-power ring, But I do expect you to deposit your weapons here. All of them. They will be stored in a mini-vault, only you will be able to open." Xos said.
He pointed at a Vault that was large enough to contain all their weapons.

"And don't think about trying to sneak something past." He said.

After a few minutes of prodding and various ajdustmets, Kaima sat back and muttered a word which, whatever its meaning, resulted in the little device rising into the air and zooming around the table at some speed. After a little while it was a brass blur in the air. The woman nodded to herself.

From the reports, the people here knew how to make Slime Weasels a slimy and disgusting drink coloured brown from the ingredients. Though it didn't look very appetising it certainly was one of The Garbage Men's more unique beverage creations.

Robert had yet to see someone who even had attempted to drink one who wasn't from The Garbage Men. He called one up from the replicated and started to suck it in... You could not drink a slime weasel.

Anthony took his seat and after looking around accessed the replicator, ordering a small computer with a link to the station’s network and to his Embassy. The tiny device materialized and he accessed it with his mind, using personal passwords to gain access to his own network. The holo projector displaying multiple images of displays for him to look at. Once he was sure everything was in order, he dimmed the display and looked to see who was sitting next to him. He noticed the male on one side and a female upon the other.

According to reports, the person to his right was the Emperor of Seperoth, a nation that attacked Balrogga a number of times about 800 years ago, after that there has not been ant personal contact with any of the people from the nation. Reports had spoken of an extreme militarism slant over the past few centuries but no actual visual of their Emperor, until now.

The lady upon his left was a complete mystery. There was no records of the nation listed on her placard un the data base. He was sure Balrogga had never met them before. He would give them both an opportunity to speak by addressing both.

“Greetings to you Sir”

Anthony turned to the female.

Robert, stil having plenty of his Slme Weasel left, looked and watched as the diplomatic glance went on around him.

There are no such things as friends, meerely obsticles, acquantainces and mutually beneficial agreements.

"Ugh, better greet him. IT would not look good and could affect the mutually beneficial agreement we have." he thought head always in the marketing framework, perceptions are more powerful than reality and he knew exactly what it all was about. Eh, he'll have to wait until the discussion was over, he didn't like that it gave the impression that he didn't care about the Balroggians. Which infact he didn't but he certainly didn't want to give that impression.

He'd try and give a visual acknowledgement of the Balrogga representative before the meeting started, that is the best that could be done. Now only if the Balroggian would notice him

"Oh, I take it as a compliment. ~desu It means Im doing my job with the students, haha." Kaima withdrew the little artifact again, "And if you want magic, theres this...its fairly simple, but its amazing what some of the students do with them. The basic principal is that a powerstone, a sort of battery, here, provides magic to this device, which converts the magic into heat and water, producing steam. ~desu" The mage set the device on the table again and waved a hand over it, causing it to begin hovering again.
"Its not very effecient, our ships engines have a far better magic-energy rating, but it produces challenges. In any case, theres an annual race, the only rules being that this little engine must be the base of the vehicle. ~desu" The little sphere began to drift across the table, "Of course this is mainly artifice, if you want impressive explosions we'll have to schedual something later. ~desu" Kaima winked, closing her green eye to better show off the red.

"The mages of my nation seem to specialize in something we call Eldritch Magic, or Meta-Magic in other definitions. We manipulate the energy of magic itself.”

“If someone were to cast a spell at me, I would simply unravel it and reweave the structure of the spell into something that would fit my current mood. I could turn a fireball into an area effect healing, reverse the targeting so he hits his own men, or simply leave the spell unraveled, saturating the mana field allowing me more energy in one of my next spells. It is a magic we have been practicing for eons, literally.”

“This race interest me. Perhaps you could tell me more about it at some time.”

“I hope I am not offending you in any way but may I ask about the different coloration of your eyes? They are most unusual and seems they might be related to your magical profession. I have a friend that entered the Enchantment specialty and her eyes were changed to that of a golden cat through her testing, the magic flooded her being and changed them permanently.”

"How interesting, I've never heard of something like that. ~desu Our magic works on a sort of...well, life force if you like. ~desu Power from the land, if you like. All of our mages have a special connection to their homeland or some other place, usually this affects their ability to cast different spells. ~desu A person from a mountanous region usually has an affinity for heat-based spells, an islander can cast alteration magic, and so on. ~desu" Kaima put her finger on one side of her jaw, as if thinking, "And there are rumous of 'void mages', those gifted people born in space, but I've never seen any of them...apparently they have some truely terrible powers. ~desu" Kaima said the last sentence as if 'terrible' was one of the best things in the universe, "Anyway, the basic principal seems the same, one of our mages uses their mind to focus magical energy into the shape and...substance, I suppose, of what they want. ~desu It would be interesting to pit one of your mages against one of ours, you should visit the Academy sometime. ~desu"
Kaima blinked at the last question, then smiled, "Oh, theyre supposed to be natural, but I was born in a high background-magic region, so its hard to tell. ~desu It may be pure coincidence that my eyes happen to reflect the particular fields of magic which I am good at. ~desu I understand that heterochromia does occur on occasion in nature, though."

“Perhaps a demonstration of our two magics could be arranged as a form of showing off the two styles when we open our embassy in a couple weeks. It is currently being constructed and furnished at this moment. I have been planning on having a party to commemorate the embassy opening. If you are interested, please let me know. The two reptilian creatures glowered angrily. But were cowed by a gaze from Caraliston.
'Hand them your weapons.' he ordered. They complied. Caraliston turned back. 'Thank you.' he said to the troops. 'Tell me, is there food served here?My two Kyrakeen soldiers are hungry. Like all true barbarian mercanaries, they like uncooked meat. Would you happen to have any?'

"Why, yes. We happen to have plenty of Raw uncooked meat. Come, the meeting is this way."

The young woman lead them down the halls, and to their table, not to far from the Table the Abh representitive was from.

Remiel yawned almost demurely as he sauntered into the conference, taking his appointed place at the table, drumming his fingers lightly as though in vague amusement. He had taken his leave to reassess the situation while the people of Trinity Blood appeared to have been near utterly wiped out. Hardly panicing during the conflagration, he had instead turned his formidible faculties to weighing the gain of this oddly esoteric removal from space-time and now returned, more confidant than ever in his ability to barter.

"You must forgive me, noble delegates, but I found myself too engrossed in all that had occured to care as to the passing of time, or those who languish within its flow. Needless to say I'm here now, and rather satisfied with all thats occured." He coughed lightly, stiffling a chuckle. "What were we discussing, I'd be thrilled to hear what we've all been talking about. Quite an odd turn of events."

He glanced around at his guards, before sliding a bottle from the folds of his cloak, placing it upon the table, marvelling at the green hued liquid that gleamed within. "I hope you don't mind if I indulge?"

Count Mann smirked as Remiel walked in. It had been a long time since the Chronosian Emperor had been in Mann's presence, not since he was a child working as an apprentice to his grandfather in Emperor Shadaum's time. Extravagently impressive as always. Mann raised his glass in Remiel's direction, the red wine like clear blood in the light of the room.

"Greetings to the lord Emperor Remiel de Drakan, may his arduous empire never cease...nor its bonds of brotherhood ever whither." Mann took the glass down and drank from it. "It has been some time since we've had the pleasure of your presence, are the court duties of Terra as boring as rumors speak?"

"And how fares the renewed Thrashia? Thrumming with life and promise, brother amongst our noble Empire. Your men fight with an unequalled tenacity, be it in Charybdis or in the service of the Empire. I would drink to you, and the skill of your arms."

He chuckled lightly. "It is truly a pity that our bonds have remained strong yet our social interactions wither, as you have so keenly pointed out. There shall be renewed ties amongst us. Perhaps you would be our guest upon most hallowed Chronosia Prime when all this business is concluded? Your thoughts upon the Crusade would be most valued, fine meat and wine for me to mull over, as it were."

Remiel was seated next To The Delegate of From The Abh Empire.

It was a great Semi-Circle set up.

The Ri-anese Delegates, two Aquamarinians were seated and waiting at their Table.

"Let us begin.

I am sure this will end Favorable. We are graced by many attendees. Let us, have a moment of silence, for the nation of Trinity Blood. Swallowed by the Void, like so many others.

*A moment later*

I see many faces, some well known, some not so well known. It is hard to conduct affairs bent towards peace, with people you do not know. So, let us erase that hurdle, and introduce ourselves.

I am O'aka the 63rd, aged Merchant extrodinaire. The young man next to me, is my Grandson, O'aka The 65th, young merchant extrodinaire.

Though indeed we are Ri-anese by nationality, as Owners of this station, we were chosen by general consent to run this in place of those who are no longer here." The 63rd said.

The Aquamarinians spoke up.

"I am asldjkbfoqwbilleirughwsdel, and this my brother, dsfmklhjbobvfuihiv. there is a Bill sound in my name, and a Bob sound in my brother's name. So Ideally, you should probably call us by that. We are also from Ri-an. The Department of Foreign Relations."

"Many of you know me, or know of me and my great nation. I am Remiel De Drakan, the chosen Scion of the Gods of Chaos and ruler of the Chronosian Imperium by right of blood and betrayal." He paused. "Warmaster of the Galactic Empire by the will of Emperor Palpatine, his right hand in his endeavors and thus master of each and every armed warrior in both Empire and Imperium.

I represent here my Chronosian kin and their interests in the Universe at large, be it as it is filled with heresy and xenos. I will not hold that against so many of you, however, in this place of debate. Not even the staunchest Corpse-worshipper need fear the wrath of the True Gods." He chuckled, seating himself once more.

While slightly taller than the average huminoid, a tiny figure on the cosmic scale floated through space towards said planet to attend said meeting. He kept his eyes wide and on target as he began to approach it.

While it's not entirely certain yet how he managed to break of his own planet's gravity, or survive in space, for that matter, if you asked him, he'd likely tell you something along the lines of "Solar sails" or "I've no idea".

But he wasn't too keen on talking anyways, seeing as a decent weapons scan would show him as a living one.

"It is my personal opinion there should be no way to impose such a treaty upon others, especially if their livelihood depends upon it. Each nation should be free to make whatever treaties their economy desires. That is part of their sovereign rights. Now, asking us to not do anything against this station is a reasonable request. I would back that one because it would preserve the free trade spirit needed for the Constantine Port Station to survive.”

Anthony waited a moment for his words to register before continuing.

“I propose there be a non combat zone around this station that is enforced by the signees of the Constantine Treaty. Each signee will contribute towards the defense of the station. It can be either ships, security, or anything else worked out individually with Mr. O’aka. The size of the zone should be determined here but I suggest nothing larger than a light year. OOC: Sorry about the lateness. My weekends tend to be a tad busy.

IC:

There could not be any greater gap in ideologies between the two nations that were sitting next to one another. Where one adhered the dogma of order and law which some would consider oppression, the other was a way of chaos. It had been a long time since Doron had seen Remiel, back during the war with the Republic and their "negotiators". The Abh Empire was still under the guidance of Empress Ramaaj and Doron was finished with his training from a Sith Lord. During those days, there were few people they were not at war with. Remiel had stood out at that meeting as being above all others and even other nations noticibly were timid in his presence. Being an Abh, timid was not in the genetic make-up. Nevertheless Doron respected the man and even liked his way of dealing with foreigners.

So despite the differences of opinions and even opposing sides in past conflicts, there always seemed to be a time and place for respective matters. Doron had adjusted his golden tiara before entering the room and respectively nodded his head at Remiel when he sat. Most of the proceedings had been relatively uneventful thus far with some nations boasting and a minor trade agreement coming into play. The Empire would most likely sign it though the extent to which they would offer protection would be extremely limited even if there wasn't a war going on. For now, Doron watched and listened to everyone speak their mind. By listening he would discern he came to talk and give speeches or who actually came to accomplish something meaningful.

The Lady Imperiatrix then said, having listened to the various ideas being bandied about, and the natterings of her fellow Servants of the Emperor--apparently, they must have been strict Istvaanites, given their rashness--before she said, "I have listened to the comments; I agree this station should be neutral territory.

As for troops...well, perhaps if we were to make this station truely neutral, one would station a minimum of vessels and infantry at the most; perhaps enough to watch over any legations set up here against hucksterism and trickery, but no more. I know the Dominion is doing as such with ours."

She then said something that perturbed Hepp. The Lady Imperiatrix then said, "And the opinion has gone out that there is no need to send the Adeptus Astartes into the matter. Granted, the utterer of those words is from our diametric opposite in terms of thought and morality, but I will say for once, he has a point."

Funaho held her hand out and turned to Hepp, before saying reassuredly to the rest of the assembled: "Besides, that is what the Inquisition is for, be it the services of the Ordo Malleus or the Ordo Xenos. An Inquisitorial Retinue and some Adeptas Sororitas and elite Astartes, such as Deathwatch or the Grey Knights on the station would be enough to deter any danger. Again, however, there would be no more than necessary to defend national and corporate legations."

"Ladies and gentlemen," Count Mann stood, "If I may be so bold as to interrupt this discourse with my pale comparison views...is that we are all in the general agreement that a none-combat zone be established. It has been moved that that limit be a single light-year, in extreme. However I think that that is too excessive as well. Rather make the distance half that, long out of range from hostile weapons.

"Concerning the defense of this station, I believe that each nation, some more than others, from either their established armies or newer organizations, can indeed thoroughly defend it...however we are not here to boast of our armies however mighty they may be. Therefore I propose this: each nation is subject, upon signing the treaty, to have a unit of no more than 250 soldiers to defend the station itself; between 1 and 3 space cruisers, none exceeding a length of 1.3 kilometers or the amount of armaments that such a ship would carry; and the assurance that should a nation attack this station, even if they be a signer of this document, they will be punished to the up-most." Mann looked around the table, looking into each delegates eyes. They were all proud of themselves, that was for sure, but none seemed too belligerent either; which was good.

"We have all fought or been allied to one another at one time or other. This day is one for the history books in that it is the first time that a Chronosian, a Thrashian, a Coredian, an Abh, and a Balroggan have sat together in agreement of peace for a long time. It is a time of newer nations that have not been met to meet others, and for us to gain together an understanding for our mutual, beneficial, futures. Hubris and other baggage of pride has no use here. I therefore ask the delegates gathered to forget it and work on the document. I've made my suggestion. What are some others, not on the subject of defense?"

"Thrashia for example can submit a force of 250 clonetroopers of the 12th Ranger Legion to be a force on the station, three Victory-class Star Destroyers, and give some substantial amounts of defensive hardware such as shield generators and point-defense systems."

"That still does not mean that it is neccesary to guard a station that should stand for unity and peace between us with behemoths that only betray thoughts of war and defensive paranoia. Being of sound mind, and sound body, the nations undersigned here below have agreed upon the following precedents, and agree to uphold them to the fullest extent of the Convention:

* The Constantine Space Port and surrounding environs, extended to one half-light-year in distance are hearby declared to be nutral, peaceful territory.

*Each signatory nation shall submit to the defence of said area up to 250 troops and up to 3 Space Crusiers bearing only medium armaments and holding a length of up to 1.3 Kilometers.

*In the event of war, all troops shall rally as one to defend the Neutral Zone, even if the attackers are a signatory nation.

"I agree with Count Mann. It is so rare a time that we can all sit in the same place without any hostility breaking out. That is why we are here."

"Each member should provide the same amount of security. Nothing more or nothing less. The Empire will provide whatever security Mr. O'aka requests without making the mistake of trying to create a military zone out of the station. That would ruin the image he is trying to create with Constantine.”

“As I see it, the problem is the presence of the Black Fortress and the fleet. Their overabundance of military is threatening to turn the station into an armed camp just in attempts to equalize forces. If we all brought in military might to balance them, there would be no room for commercial traffic. How many ships equal their Black Fortress? Their fleet?”

“What do we do to make this a non combat zone?”

“Currently, the Balrogga Empire has a single diplomatic ship which is part of the embassy here. That is enough for us. Any further import of military presence will be completely at the demand of Mr. O’aka or as a result of this meeting. Other than visiting ships of very limited numbers there will be no permanent posting here beyond that required by station management and Embassy needs.”

“The only other forces that might be in the area are the ITH Police Forces, which is privately owned by them and only provides security for their property. From what I understand, they have a 10,000 meter zone around their gates they patrol. Beyond that they cannot be counted upon.”

Through the black and silver cloth of the heavens crawled the bloated circle of a Kesshii hive ship. The vessel's diamondoid, corpuscular hull resperated the tail tale signature of a primitive matter/anti-matter drive. Its green surface was covered with a fine web of glowing blue lines, evidence of its electrodynamic fluid circulatory system. Within the organism's protective shell was a network of soft tunnels filled with amniotic fluids in which a little more than a hundred Kesshii slithered, burrowed, and swam.

The hive ship came to a stop two kilometers from the station, but continued to slowly rotate like a ponderous, fleshy asteroid. After 600 seconds, an orifice appeared on its surface and excreted an ovoid that sped to one of the station's open ports.

As he feared, the meeting was not going well and it was already failing to compromise on one minor aspect of moving a fleet out of the zone. Militarily, they should be thrilled that they were being asked to contribute less and not more. Given that he had never heard of some of these nations before, he presumed that most of them could not spare a large force in any event. A half-hearted smile crossed his face as he leaned back into his chair and muttering under his breath so only someone close by could hear, "Or we can just remove the heap of scrap for them. Doesn't sound too difficult. Why would any intelligent ruler send someone that had no authority to a summit?"

Finally having enough with the meaningless conversations, Doron made his own proposal. "If I haven't fallen asleep too often already, the specifics of this 'treaty' layout the foundation of defense for when this is signed. Considering that you have yet to sign any document, I believe your ships are fine where they are at the moment. Once this is signed, they need to leave. Following me so far? So that gives your government time to fix them with scrap from other ships, spare parts, cans, or whatever. During that time, it would extremely wise for them to purchase a light cruiser from one of the representing governments here today. I'm sure some would be more than happy to do so and would even be so kind as to give your government a discount. Make sense? So, recapping here. Your ships can stay for now but will leave after they are repaired and you have signed your nation's li- err acceptance of the terms that everyone will shortly layout. Have your priestess or elder contact some one to purchase a light cruiser for your military."

Turning to the rest of his attention to the others in the congregation, "It is a good highlight of what has briefly been said thus far. It still needs the meat for flavor."

Naruto turned his attention from the treaty to the disturbance. The treaty appeared to be in order and everything, although it'd be weird to have Chronosians and Coredians fighting side by side to protect the Neutral Zone while they fight elsewhere. "Is there a problem here?"

I find myself content merely to watch...And to learn. I've learned more about those dreadfully cocky Isans in my time here than I'd ever want to in a lifetime.

One of them reminds me of one of your lackeys, little man" Remiel smirks. "Had I my beloved blades there would be distinctly less of a problem, and I'd likely be more contented. As would you, to know that a facet of Daniel existed so close to his beloved people. Though on that note I would ask that we be allowed to remain armed and maintain armed guard if we don't trust a security force unable to move their own ships, on a station that isn't theres.

We Chronosians believe in capable military units. We're not all gibbering tacticless cultists, after all. Dispite what the Coredian will infer"

Naruto mentally rolled his eyes at Remiel, content to reply with a fanged smile. "Yeah. I was surprised when the Isans had a Roy lookalike. And I'd feel better with my own weapons if there's an issue, but then again, I don't need them. Still...you do have a point if security is not as it's meant to be."

The scout drone that still hovered on the ceiling of the conference hall remained motionless, like a spider sleeping on its web. Only its eye-optic swiveled and moved as it tracked the heat patterns of various non-kesshii organics. The nurosensors built into its skin picked up changes in atmosphere and temperature, as well as picking up vibrations below its hearing frequency.

Though still, its synapses hummed with the important business of processing and recording all available sensations. It was aware of its fellow scout drones via their shared consciousness, but other than this, it was minimally engaged with its overmind.

There was a sudden pause in its processing protocols as its psychic senses detected the mildest of whispers, a cool wind of minute Empyrean energy. If the scout were a being of higher consciousness, it would have told itself that such was impossible to feel in this situation. It was not, however, and so simply recorded it while activating an internal Geller field.

You can also join the meeting no prob, I had you escorted a few posts ago directly to the meeting.

The meeting was moved to this thread, because of lots of OOC clutter. Now, if you want to join the international meeting, you can still do so. The scout drone still attached to the ceiling became aware that the attention of other non-kesshite organics was beginning to focus on it. Its internal sensors suggested that its visual camouflage had faded as it powered up the Geller field. The non-kesshii organics were showing no sudden spikes of temperature or swelling behavior that indicated aggression to the kesshii.

The scout drone began to move forward, forcing its skin to match the hue and texture of the ceiling in an effort to blend in with it, and lose the attention of the group.

"Go on, SHOO! get out of the Habitation rings." He said.

He followed them down the hallways, and shooed them all the way into the commercial areas.

In the commercial areas...

"And stay out, until you gain proper authorization."

Back at the meeting...

General Harrison closed the door to the meeting area.
"Please excuse the interruption folks. I believe you were geeting to trade agreements, if I heard correctly." he said.

And for energy weapons, and other such weapons, where there is no seperate Ammunition, then, it should be shipped so that, it would be horrendously difficult to suddenly pull it out of the container in the Neutral Zone, and use it, possibly even Damage it.

As for Security that's part of the military detachment idea. It shouldn't be too hard for all the numerous guards resulting from that first bullet point of the convention agreement to patrol the station. However, I reserve the right to modify the numbers, as fits station needs, keeping the numbers in the document, as the max number I can call on. Also, Barracks will be built on the station in various points, to comfortably house the soldiers. General Harrison will organise the Militaries, so that no one Steps on anyone elses toes, as the old saying goes. Everyone gets equal Glory, such as it is.
