General Lyod Mcloud and his soldiers walked the grounds of parliament.Today her Majesty was going to do a state address to the house of commons and the house of lords.There duty was to raise the union jack when her car pulls up then guard and protect her.A few soldiers raced ahead of them trying to get everything prepared.This was only the forth time the queen had given a speech to parliament.General Mcloud loaded his gun,he could hear the gun powder over one of the hills.That was to statue the queen when arriving.Mcloud hated these things but he got a better pay then other soldiers by doing this.

Today Mary McAleese meet with her ministers to talk about the problem about the education plan.The Forward Wales will be debating about the education plan this friday against labour.Already about 7,000 teachers are out of work but Prime Minister McAleese stated that by the end of the month about 8,000 schools will be built and the teachers that are left out of the 7,000 will be sent to be teach in colleges and universities.

Today Duputy Prime Minister Tony Blair stated his speech about child cruelty outside of parliament.

Sir Christopher, Ladies and Gentlemen. It is a very great pleasure indeed to be here this morning and to celebrate what has been a remarkable achievement by the Full Stop Campaign. And when you, Sir, and I launched this some seven years ago, 8 years ago - time flies when you are having fun, and if I may say so I think you are wearing it slightly better than me - but when we launched the campaign then I remember thinking that it was an incredibly ambitious proposal, and to try to raise £250 million is an immense challenge and task. That it has been done is a tribute to you, Sir, and to all the staff at the NSPCC, but also to so many people here who have played such a critical role over these past few years.

And the purpose, as you rightly say, has really been threefold. It is first of all to raise the awareness of this as an issue because cruelty and abuse comes in many different forms, and for young people themselves very often they were hesitant and worried about coming forward, feeling that maybe they were stigmatising themselves or doing something that was wrong, or making open something that should remain secret, when actually the abuse of a child is something that should never remain secret or hidden. And one of the purposes therefore was to make people aware, and make young people aware that it was actually their job and their task to come forward and ensure that when they were being abused that something was done about it. And as you rightly say, there has been a big, big change in the attitudes of young people and in their confidence and ability to come forward and ensure that they get help.

But the second thing of course that the Full Stop Campaign did was that by raising money for the services that were provided then young people were able to come and gain access to proper advice and then get the treatment that they also required. And you know the figures speak for themselves in terms of the trebling of the amount of youngsters that can be helped, but it is when you actually think that each one of those statistics in their thousands represents a young person that has been through probably a deeply traumatic experience where if they are not given that help that experience can stay with them and possibly change and warp their lives for the rest of their lives, then each one of those numbers is a young person with a life that can be rebuilt rather than a life that is destroyed as a result of the experience that they have been through.

And that really brings me to the third thing that the campaign was supposed to do, which is to change the culture around this issue in the country. And obviously we have been immensely influenced in government by what has happened with the Full Stop Campaign, but really we have both had the same aim, which is to try and alter the culture around this. And the purpose of saying Full Stop was to say there are no circumstances in which this is justified, you know there is nothing that can ever justify harming a child.

And all the work and research that is done, not just in this country but around the world today, shows that the experiences that young people have, for better or for worse, of an emotional kind are the experiences that don't just shape their character in a very profound way, but also shape their attitude to the rest of society as well. And a young person that has been traumatised by abuse as a young person is far more likely to go on to abuse themselves, and not merely in terms of their own lives but in the lives of those people around them, it can have a most dramatic and profound adverse impact.

So the purpose of this campaign was to ensure that young people themselves had the confidence to come forward; that we increased the amount of treatment that was available; and thirdly that we changed the culture around the issue. And I think that those aims have largely been achieved and that is a tremendous thing, but it is work that goes on, it is work that goes on day in, day out, week in, week out, because there are young people who still desperately need that help.

And so as we celebrate the fact that we have managed to attain the £250 million target, and we think back on those 8 years and think how much has been achieved, I think part of the purpose of today is to make it very clear that this work does not stop, that it has to continue and go on, and in a sense we should take heart and confidence from the fact that so much has been achieved in these years, but use that confidence to make sure that the work then continues in the years to come. And I personally was delighted to be associated with it 8 years ago and I am very proud and feel it a great honour and privilege to be here with you today to celebrate the campaign's success.

Has Cherie Blair been wasting millions of pounds on shoes.Thats what her former dresser stated this morning.Cherie Blair the wife of the current Duputy Prime Minister Tony Blair is always on the newspapers but many people think she's gone to far with this one.Last month she was in the newspapers when she didn't show the queen respect and one for spending 56.9 million pounds on rebuilding 10 Downing Street without the government knowing.Mrs.Blair stated that the only reason why she spent 56.9 million pounds on 10 Downing Street was to increase the size of the house for there growing family.But many people are have had enough and now writing letters and protesting for the government to lower Cherie's budget or don't give her one at all.The government will be talking about this next week.In other news......

Today we remember Diana,Princess of Wales;she was the late wife of King Charles and the mother of Queen Elizabeth III.Diana died in a car crash in london with her boyfriend leaving behind four children.Her Majesty was only ten when her mother died leaving a scar in her life for ever.Diana never thought of marrying a royal but she did.After Charles and her got a divorce her friend asked her did you ever think you would become queen;Diana stated no she wouldn't ever be queen of the United Kingdom2 but she would be queen of hearts.After she died the royal family was attacked in the media.Many people thought Charles had planed for her death to get full rights for the children.Her funeral was watched by millions that day;her children,her former husband,her former father in law and her brother walked behind her coffin.The queen said that was the worst day of her life when she knew her mother would never come back.After a few weeks things got back in place but still many people blamed the royal family for her death.Charles got a leeter saying:You shed her blood now were going to shed yours". Today in a old hotel the famous painting of the King Charles and Diana,Princess of wales with their children has been found.Elizabeth is the one holding on to Diana.The painting is worth over 12.8 billion pounds and will be returned to Buckingham Palace to be hanged in the throne room.The painting was made in the 1920's before the prince and princess got a divorce.About sixty-eight royal paintings are still missing;after the civil war in London robbers raided Buckingham Palace and took over 100 billion pounds worth of items that belonged to the royal family.The Queen's staff stated that about only hundred and three royal items are still missing and the staff also stated they will keep on looking for them.

Today King Charles visited Northern Ireland after the heart attack he had thursday.His staff stated that the King has been recovering in Windsor Castle for the past two days and has been demanding to not use a wheelchair to visit Northern Ireland.Her Majesty stated that safety must be needed for her father at all times.King Charles is now currenty flying to Wales to promote reach for cancer.

Today a bomb in Belfast has went off near a local pub killing sixty-seven people and wounding three hundred and fifty people.Police and Soldiers were called in and they do believe it was planted by the IRA.Police Chief for Northern Ireland;Danny Shackleton stated that 6,000 police officers are now on the case and 1,789 soldiers are in Belfast to control the area.

Dublin Militia have been defeated by the IRA.At six o'clock the base was attacked by the IRA and by seven the militia fled to Belfast headquaters.We talked to Colonel Jamron Kennedy stated that the man were shocked they'd try and attack a military base but they did and they won.two thousand of the militia were killed during the fight.Dublin Base has been destroyed;only the fencer remains.People are now leaving Belfast or Dublin or the other counties to London.Since the base was attacked and it now lay in flames people are not taking there chances.UK2 military arrived a few minutes after the IRA and could'nt find barely anybody but dead soldiers.We will bring more about this.

Today the Defence minister,Gorden Mackey stated that 56,000 UK2 soldiers will be deployed near the Irish,Northern Irish border to fight off the IRA.Mr.Mackey already talked to parliament and the Prime Minister about it.The soldiers will help Irish soldiers near the border to fight the IRA out of Northern Ireland.Later UK2 soldiers will enter Ireland and help fight off the IRA.Mr.Mackey has visited the area and will be flying back during the missions.People have been protesting outside of parliament for more then three hours not to send UK2 soldiers to the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland.The royal family who have been staying at a royal castle have been asked to leave tonight before the fighting gets worse.The IRA demands that the treaty must not be signed.When Tony Blair was in office the IRA demanded for Northern Ireland to be returned back to Ireland or bloodshed would happen.The IRA stated the same thing if the treaty is signed.

Donald Imgrams,Mayor of London has been wounded by a carcrash heading to Dowing Street to meet the Deputy Prime Minister.Mr.Imgrams is fighting for is life right now.The car that he was in blew up killing his driver and one of his aids.The car crashed near the Buckingham street near Parliament.About seven people are wounded.Police stated that the car over heated in some way and blew up.He is on life support right now and will be staying for two months to recover.

Today the First Minister for Northern Ireland,Robert O'Relly died after fighting a battle of cancer for the past months.His last picture was with Her Majesty and Prince George when he stated he had cancer.His treatment was a painfull and tiring.He leaves behind his wife and five children.The Deputy First Minister Tyler Robinson will be sworn in by the Deputy Prime Minister Tony Blair to became First Minister on friday.

Today the White Palace was bombed by an IRA bomber.The Prime Minister and her family have been reported to be fine.Two members of staff for the Prime Minister was wounded.The public stated that how the could the IRA get hold of a UK2 bomber.Also The White Palace is the sixth most protected thing in the United Kingdom2.The White Palace has a bomb shelter to hold the Prime Minister,her family and her staff.The bomber's missile hit one of the gardens blowing out windows and destroying the entire garden.We have pictures of the bomber that must have been taken from the Dublin Millitia last three weeks.The base had about ten bombers and had enough missiles to destroy London.

There are close to two million British people out of jobs. In the last few years, we have witnessed the highest levels of unemployment in the post war era. The Tories have allowed manufacturing to decline. Moreover, they have failed to open up alternative paths for those who have become unemployed. However, we must not despair. A Labour government will combat mass unemployment on a war footing. We will not allow it to continue.

In the short term, we must take measures to take people off benefits and into work. In the long term, we must create the right conditions so that we never have two million unemployed again. We must create the right economic climate for business and industry to invest and create jobs. We must invest in skills training so that Britain can make best use of the opportunities globalisation provides.





Macroeconomic Stability: Frequent boom and bust has plagued the British economy under the Tories. High inflation, high and unstable interest rates and low growth contribute to making Britain an unattractive place to invest. We must ensure macroeconomic stability, so that businesses can plan ahead and invest.


Investment: We must invest in our industries to raise productivity. Government must create the conditions to enable businesses to invest and create jobs and growth. We will form public-private partnerships to rebuild our roads and railways.


Employment Zones: Some areas are worse affected than others. In such places, we will establish Employment Zones, with tax breaks for businesses to invest there. This will provide immediate relief to these areas


Tax Credit to Hire Unemployed People: We will offer businesses a tax credit to hire people on benefits. For each person they hire, and take off benefits, we will offer them a tax credit.


Skills Training: British Industry must modernise to compete effectively in the global economy. As a result, more and more jobs will require a high level of skills. We will work with industries, businesses and trade unions to provide industry specific skills training. Our goal is to put all young people on the path to a qualification.


Welfare to Work: The Welfare State has failed those who are in need of it the most. We will help people find a job. The Welfare State is not just about benefits, it is about helping people to help themselves.


No Cuts to Benefits: The Labour Party realises that most people who are unemployed have lost their job through no fault of their own. It would be cruel and unfair to deny them even the little support from the welfare system that they get.


National Minimum Wage: A National Minimum Wage will combat the worst excesses of low pay. Hard work must lead to a good life. Labour will protect that principle. Work must pay for all.


Forty Hour Week: A Forty Hour Week will encourage employers to hire more workers. Overwork tends to reduce productivity. Workers must have the chance to relax and spend time with their families. If people choose to work longer, we will guarantee them the right to receive overtime payment.

Today Prime Ministr Mary McAleese met with Queen elizabeth.The two talked about the growing violence in Northern Ireland.Both agreed to talk with the military to increase more troops in Northern Ireland and close down all borders between Northern Ireland and Ireland.The President of Ireland has also agreed to close down all borders to try and stop the IRA from entering.The IRA that were in northern Ireland fled to Ireland carrying the nukes with them.The military will be sending teams of troops to all over the border to lock down on the violence.Curfew hs been set up in Northern Ireland.Everyone in Northern Ireland now have to be in there homes by 7PM.Police have been told to patrol every street in Northern Ireland until they've been told other wise.34 thousand police officers are now on duty and are heavily armed and will fire at people.we will bring you more on this.

Will the McAleese Government Fall

As we all know Mary McAleese is the first woman to become Prime Minister but will her government last until the 2011 elections.The last week a bill was made to provide more soldiers to Northern Ireland but it almost failed.It was 502 against and 556 for it.The only way to make the McAleese Government to fall is the Scottish National Party to not vote with them on a bill.Making the country go into elections.Many people are unhappy with the way the Labour government is handling everything.Many hope the Scottish National Party does not vote with the Labour party on another labour bill.
