Nova Celtanica, which had only one major city, Celtic Londinium, had it's population largely eliminated.

The bombers flew over Nova Brittanica. Anti aircraft defences fought them, but there just to many. The people of Nova Londinium were for the most part evacuated, but a thousand people were still in the cities when the bombs first hit. Bombs blew apart most of the city, sparing only the fringes of the city. The government stopped all support of the rebels and liberation of British Londinium, and put the money into reconstruction of the capital. Years would go by, the Presedential Palace was rebuilt, as was the Parliament building, and the Grand Court. This all came to pass, as well as the reconstruction of business buildings and urban areas, but the city was never the same jewel of Nova Brittonian accomplishments.

Meanwhile, the Imperial Elite moved to Nova Brittonian Fiji, to protect it.

The Empire has decided to withdraw their forces except outside of its own embassy in the capital. As well, we will continue to offer medical aide free of charge to people who have not fought in the conflict. Also, we will continue to accept the evacuation of foreign citizens. Further, we will turn over anyone we find armed with ranged weapons. Yet, we will require you to know the basics of the embassy being considered sovereign ground the Empire.

As the Drop Divisions landed in Fiji, they received orders to withdraw. Mumbling apologies, they retired to their (now landed) carriers, took off, and flew to reinforce the Force of Occupation in British Londinium, leaving Fiji to its own devices.

As the two officers conferred, an ashen-faced junior officer came smartly to attention beside them.

"Preliminary reports suggest at least, um, three naval taskforces. Space Force Command also reports that they've picked up high-flying craft en route."

"Jovis wept! OK. Thank you. Dismissed. General?"
"Yessir?"
"Put the Drop Corps on alert and have them disperse throughout the Westminster region. Notify Army Groups North, Centre, South, and West that they're to expect an assault at any time. Tell Air Command to get in the damn sky and give us cover."
"Yes, sir. And Strategic Rocket?"
"Fuck 'em. They didn't come through for us before. Oh - get First Strat Arty up the beaches, we can shell the naval groups..."

The Royal Starfleet armada cut of their advance to Venus, ten million miles away from Earth.

"All vessels, set course for Earth."

Once the vessels entered geostationary orbit over British Londinium, they began to open fire on the Atopian forces in British Londinium.

"Fire a volley!" ordered the Admiral, and three hundred torpedoes were fired at Atopian forces.

As the torpedoes fired, the starships moved away from Earth, hopefully out of the range of any Atopian counterstrike systems.

Emboldened by the attacks made by the Royal Starfleet, and by rumours of liberation, a new string of suicide attacks erupted in British Londinium, claiming the lives of one thousand Party officials.

Also, an Atopian soldier was kidnapped and threatened with execution. The freedom fighters released a video demanding the liberation of British Londinium, stating that "unless we get what we want, this woman dies."

The Emperor and Empress condemned this act, pleading with all citizens to cease and desist these acts of violence.

In addition, the 10th Infantry Regiment of the Royal Army reassembled and marched on the city of Bedford.

OOC: You want me to do this fair and right. I’m going to take out my fair PMT cannons and replaced them with my war fleets of naval ships, airships and airplanes. Now, which one do I attack, Atopiana or Skgorria? How about both.

SIC: Back in Romania, in his massive castle, Castle Von Wolf!, the Count relaxed and looked through the craziest of the forsaken world called Earth. Some weird things were happening like Royal dogs wanting to marry other royal dogs. That’s some crazy a$$ stuff.

One of the things that made him stop was something happening in British Londinium. The British are coming, the British are coming! Wait, that’s not right. They got invaded by some fools called Atopianans and Skgorrians. Damn, these little ones and their idiotic minds of being powerful. They did do a successful invasion of British Londinium, but they didn‘t have control of the people. Riots, terrorist attacks and etc were happening that country. Plus, the actions of the Atopianans and Skgorrians were close to the actions of the Nazis in World War II. Hell, there were reports that one of them had SS soldiers, yes bloody SS soldiers!

Another that pissed off the Count was the Atopiana’s flag. Nazis, nazis, nazis! The red background and the white and black circle thing in the center of the flag. They could have done it another set of colors like blue with a pink and gold circle things. It would make them less Nazi wanna-be.

So, the Count and his cabinet, after they were called up, began to plan to liberate British Londinium. Add to the planning was the Count’s top military minds, the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. Plus the planning of the Dominion Armed Forces’ High Command, the Dominion Air Force Command, the Dominion Airship Command, and the Dominion Naval Command. With that many people planning, you would never know what the outcome would be.

IC: Orders were being sent out to get ready for war. But it was not like millions of soldiers were heading towards bases. No, that could be seen from space with things called satellites. These soldiers were just getting ready. The Dominion was going to use their best to get the job done.

Same thing was happening at the air bases and naval base within the massive Dominion. Nobody would know until the ships started massing together in the open water after the official declaration of war was told to the world later.

Terrorist attacks continued today when the reassembled 10th Infantry Regiment raided an Atopian arms cache full with Londinian arms and armour, then disappearing into the night.

Fifteen such freedom fighters were killed, and one was captured by the Atopian government.

The present location of the 10th is unknown.

Another terror attack struck the city of New Oxford, killing eighteen; a roadside bomb also killed three New Party members in the province of Durgapur.

As the fleet burned hard towards the enemy, the space between the two forces sparkled with the lights of engines powering missiles through the void. At just a thousand metres from the enemy vessels, the relativistic missiles blossomed, showering the Londinian craft with over a million 1cm discs of depleted uranium... burning hard behind this first onslaught were the three hundred conventional explosive penentrator missiles launched by the Atopian space fleet's rocket pods.

General Announcement, All Media, Atopiana:

Citizens! This country is at war! All leave is cancelled! All security and youth units are to report to their mobilisation areas! All non-essential personnel are to enter the AANDC at once! This is not a drill! Your safety and security is assured and will be maintained by the sacrifice of the nation's youth in order to ensure the destruction of the New Order's enemies!

Within two days of the General Announcement, the AANDC had been filled to capacity and was sealed, operating at full wartime capacity. The hundred and twenty million men and women of Land and Air Command had dispersed throughout the country, and re-garrissoned the Grand Line.

The country was bristling with weapons and crawling with drones - nothing moved in Atopiana without GHQ Military Command knowing about it...

Five Royal Starfleet battlecruisers were destroyed today, their hulls disentigrating in the Earth's atmosphere. The rest of the armada has disappeared, its location unknown.

Freedom fighters in British Londinium released a video tape of the Atopian soldier being executed by beheading.

The 10th Infantry Regiment reappeared today, killing 167 New Party members before retreating into the oblivion. 23 Royal Army members were killed.

In response to the killing of Lance Corporal Janova, one hundred Londinian terrorist sympathisers have been shot.

In response to the attack on New Party officials and members which resulted in the deaths of 167 and the injuring of a further 200, the largest forest in British Londinia has been set on fire by the Atopian Air Force.

Atopian Broadcasting Association, 6 'o Clock News:

Following the vicious and unprovoked assault on Atopiana by forces in breach of the Westminster Treaty, citizens are reminded that while Kurskograd has been damaged, and Grantham destroyed, the majority of the missiles fired from orbit were intercepted by our Space Force and Air Command anti-missile network. Reports say that casualties were thankfully light, as the AANDC had been occupied mere moments beforehand.

Several missiles fell on outlying sections of the Grand Line, and at least one has hit Jakaranda Airbase. More details to follow after this announcement by the Primo:

Rogue Royal Army troops marched through the province of Durgapur today, with British Londinian citizens taking to the streets in mass support; their forces are currently estimated to be over a million individuals, armed with official Royal Army equipment as well as AK47s and stolen Atopian arms.

The small lumber industry has recently collapsed due to the burning of British Londinium's only forest.

Explosions rocked Ximenes de Cisneros today, killing 1,976 individuals by causing a skyscraper to collapse on itself. More on this story later.

Game time, dogs, it’s on like a pair of rabbits. The Dominion was about to strike out and kick some Fascist ass. Die, die, die! Through out the Dominion, bombers and fighters began to launched into the air. Bully people and deal with the Dominion. If anybody was watching, they would see thousands of bombers and fighters entering the air. The Dominion was not playing with some Fascist, Nazi wanna-bees.

The Dominion was putting a thousand B-52 Stratofortress heavy bombers with 70 1,000 pound fuel-air pounds each into the air and four thousand MIG-29 Fulcrum high performance combat aircrafts armed with a mix of air to air missiles and air-to-ground missiles to act as their escorts. My, my what a lovely mix of planes. And they were heading towards British Londinium first. Their mission was to attack any and every Atopianan naval vessels, and to attack Skgorrian ships at the same time.

At the same time as the bombers when into the air, the Dominion airships and naval ships began to moved into their meeting spots. The meeting spots was on the edge of the Dominion 12nm water claim. The Dominion was not playing, they were launching ships from their main land and the other six area where she has colonies. The numbers began to raise from ten to fifty to a hundred and up she goes. From the ones watching at home via satellites, they would see close to seven or more large numbers of air and naval ships grouping up.

Now, here comes the fun stuff. The official declaration of war!

As of today, an official state of war exist between the Dominion and the Fascist allies of Atopiana & Skgorria. This comes form the things happening in the nation of British Londinium and the actions of the ungodly use of weapons of mass destruction. The reports that four nation have been wiped off the face of Earth by the Skgorrian horde.

That is just uncalled for. If you can be a real man and fight like real men, don’t fight at all. The use of weapons of mass destruction are frowned down by me and the rest of the civil world.

British Londinium will be freed from your Fascist hands and your people will be freed after that.

To the leaders of Atopiana and Skgorria, may God have mercy on your souls and that he send you to hell for your evil, cruel actions done on this world.

Emboldened by the support of the international community, full-blown civil disorder has erupted in almost every single part of British Londinium, with over 20 million people arming themselves and taking to the streets, attacking any Atopian or Skgorrian forces that they see.

More and more British Londinian citizens join the rioters by the hour.

SIC:
"Tactical, on screen," ordered the Admiral, and a spatial strategic map of Earth and its surrounding space came on the viewer.

Circling the planet were two Atopian vessels, one of which was still fully operational. This ship had to die.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is this ship, the Atopian vessel currently undamaged, that poses the greatest threat to us right now. We still remain strong, with three dozen starships, but if we do not take out the Atopian space forces, we will sustain losses."
"Indeed, sir. I propose that we surround the enemy and fire torpedoes, close range," replied a captain.
"Negative," quoth the Admiral. "It's too risky. I propose that we fire our ballistic missiles at it; their long range ensures that we will not have to be exposed, remaining safe."

The admiral issued the following transmission to all Royal Starfleet vessels:

Now hear this, now hear this. All vessels are to prepare missiles for condition 1SQ. On my command, two ballistic missiles from each ship are to fire at the Atopian vessel; then, all starships are to accelerate away.

Ten minutes later, all starship captains signalled their readiness.

Seventy-two missiles were fired at the undamaged Atopian vessel.

The tri-fleet formation crept closer and closer to British Londinium before seperating into their three seperate armadas, each headed up by a superdreadnought flagship. Aircraft carriers began moving to Alert-30 status in case of reports of aggression or notice by Atopianan and Skgorrian military wares. The carriers were well protected, a swarm of frigates and gunships surrounding them to defend against aerial threats, while destroyers farther out defended against submarines and cruisers, dreadnoughts, and battleships against over surface vessels. Submarines patrolled beneath the waves, lurking with their racks of torpedoes and anti-shipping and anti-surface missile weaponry.

The air armada now began their primary assault high above British Londinium, Party locales and military positions, such as SAM sites, artillery positions, and armor locations targeted. Thermobaric weaponry began to fall out of the sky, thousands of bombs, accompanied by thousands of cluster bomblets from the Dominion-stationed long-range aerial bombers. The fighters kept vigilant patrol slightly lower, on call in case of resistance through the air.

BBC World Service broadcast, 27 November, 2102 hrs.

Former RAF officers seized control of RAF Waddington, and took control of the aircraft stationed there. Fighters and bombers have been flying over Atopian positions for ten hours, bombing them continously.

The 10th Infantry Regiment reappeared today, garrisoning the airbase.

Additionally, the Prime Minister Robert Tranter arrested General Vandenburg, a senor leader in the New Party militia, and had him executed by firing squad on live television on charges of high treason and sedition, after the General was caught inciting violence against the government.

Suicide bombings continue in the cities of New Bombay and Northolt, killing 302 New Party members.

In a speech, Prime Minister Tranter (http://www.horroria.com/i/nstills/37/58/53758/53758-219399.jpg) promised a harsh retribution against these terrorists, but was interrupted when a bomb went off in the crowd before him, killing thirteen.

"We appear to have bitten off more than we can chew," sighed Gorobets.
"Not so, germ!" cried Beckenauer. "Losses are down this week and we have an extremely large combat-ready force - we can beat the Dominion!" He slammed his fist down on the map table, sending division markers flying over the darkly-lit room. "We are Skgorrians, and through fields of blood and pain we march on!" Beckenbauer's eyes gleamed with fanaticism as he clenched his fist and raised it into the air in defiance of some invisible foe.
"Look at the casualty reports, Special Action Division lost a whole batallion this morning!" Gorobets screamed, "Our forces here are insignificant compared to those before us."
"SIEG HEIL SKGORRIA!" Beckenbauer bellowed, "do those words mean nothing to you?"
Gorobets sighed, "Storm-General Beckenbauer, I hoped it would not come to this. Under Fuhrerdirektiv 0451, your command is terminated, as is your life." Beckenbauer had only time to say "wha.." before one of the SS guards present shot him with a full burst from his Stg-88. Beckenbauer collapsed to the floor, his torso a bloody mess.
"Dispose of this," Gorobets gestured in disgust to the remains of the General, "and give me a radio."

Now hear this, now hear this. Under Fuhrerdirektiv 0451, all Skgorrian units are to withdraw from British Londinium and return to Skgorria immediately. Enough blood has been spilt here.

Most Skgorrian commanders were baffled by this new order, but they quickly complied. They knew the penalties for disobeying a Fuhrerdirektiv, and Special Action Division were quick to remind them. Soldiers and aircraft were called back from patrols immediately and began to pack up and head for home. This was met by cheers from patriotic British Londinians and despair by New Party forces.

Another radio message was sent

To our allies in Atopiana, this war is madness and must be stopped. If our homelands are invaded we will fight, but Skgorria will not send her sons to die for this worthless country. We sought to create order, but instead we have created chaos.

To the Dominion, we are withdrawing all combat and logistics personnel from British Londinium

In response to the Skgorrian withdrawal, tens of thousands of New Party members resigned today, and two thousand, five hundred and forty two New Party members were neutralised by hastily assembled, Royalist firing squads.

Royalist soldiers stormed a radio tower and took all the people hostage, sending out the following message.

Now hear this, now hear this. Atopiana, by order of the Royal Armed Forces of the Crowns of British Londinium, you are hereby ordered to withdraw your troops forthwith and with all due speed. Otherwise, more Atopians and New Party members will die painful deaths.

OOC: A few things cropped up:

1) There are no aircraft left intact in British Londinium which aren't Atopian. This is thanks to Skgorria, in post #183:

All naval craft were scuttled or destroyed, whilst aircraft were flown back to Skgorria.

This occured immediately after the Treaty of Westminster. Thus, the RAF can't have bombed me.

2) I've not taken any aggressive action yet against either the Transylvanians, or the Amazonian Beasts. I will now, however. :p

3) The six spacecraft of the ASF have been fighting thirty-six enemy vessels?! And winning!? :cool:

4) That Transylvanian 1,000 bomber raid on my navy? Yeh, I don't have one. :p

The Dominion has decided to bomb us, with varying effect, thanks to our Maskirovka and the Air Force. "Very well, actually, given the circumstances. Most of the bombing has so far been confined to the cities and the Social Republic. To be honest, the New Party militia took the brunt of it, they didn't bother hiding properly. Our gain, however."

"From the bombing - comparatively few. Army Group North reports the loss of eight APAVs and 46 soldiers, Central twenty-two and three SAMs, and South a mere 18. From the guerilla war, 45 on all fronts in the last 24 hours."

War Plan Alpha:

It began with a thirty minute bombardment from First Strategic Artillery's 207 Godhammer cannon. Each cannon hurled a 280mm calibre 15KT nuclear shell, and each gun put a shell in the air every minute. Each of the three Dominion naval battlegroups were targeted by 2,070 of these shells...

And it continued with the engagement of the Translyvanian thousand bomber raid by the drone craft of the Atopian Air Force. Six thousand of the drones, each with their own semi-artificial intelligence and four air-to-air missiles (not to mention quad 30mm cannon in the nose), rose to meet the Transylvanian MiG-29s - meanwhile, the 400 Su-47s of the Atopian Air Force fell upon the B-52s as their escorts were engaged...

Further inland, as the gunners of 1 SA moved their cannon, bridges were mined, others blown. Roads were blocked, cities turned into deathtraps. Special Commando units set up booby traps and engineers sewed minefields across the country.

Meanwhile, In Space...

"Fasces One reports that the last survivors have been picked up from the AS- ah."

Back in the Dominion, a few hours after the declaration of war, the news of Skgorrian units leaving British Londinium in a hurry and that the Dominion had another ally in this fight, Amazonian Beasts. The Count knew of that nation as the nation has land in the same area as Wolfe Island and the Angel Island chains, but has never meet with them in peace or war.

In the dark office of the Count at Castle Von Wolf, he listened to the message of the Skgorrian. “Damn right, it is a loss cause. People don’t want to be forced to do something,” he said out loud to himself, “They can run, but can’t hide for my wraith. Down with the fascist regimes.” He was talking to himself, but it is all right as long as he doesn’t answer himself. He lit up a Cuban cigar and pulled out a blue phone from his desk.

“The bombers stay on their original orders. There are still Atopianans to kill.” he said.

“The navies, milord?” asked the man on the other end.

“They stay on their original orders. They will protect the sea of British Londinium.” said the Count.

Without saying another thing, he placed the phone down and opened up a program on his computer. It was e-mailing program.

I’m going to make this short. Our both nations are attacking the fascist bullies of Atopiana and Skgorria, we need to work together in this mission. I got reports that your bombers have already attack. My bombers are still hours away, but they are still going to be some help.

I got navies to come in and guard the waters of from other fascist bullies that want to attack them. Those navies are on the way, too.

So…working together is the best idea. After we save British Londinium, we need to move in as the Dominion wreaking crew to take the fascist cowards down. To save their people from the iron fists of their leaders.

Now, on to IC:

Open Water

The shells rained down upon the three splitting Dominion forces as the naval groups began throwing up countermeasures in the form of heavy chaff screens to prematurely explode the shells before they hit. Still, the countermeasures weren't totally successful. They did manage to intercept some shells, and others missed their targets, but others did find hits, mainly among the outer cruisers and battleships of the fleet, inflicting damage and casulties. 3 cruisers and a frigate were lost from the attack.

"Return fire!" was the order sent to each group.

Targeting areas where the shelling had come from and urban locations, the dreadnoughts of the three fleets opened up with their heavy cannons, massive shells containing either explosive chemicals or simply serving as huge projectiles slammed forth from the fleets, thousands of shells blown towards British Londinium shores. The battleships of the fleet also began targeting, their heavy, yet slightly lighter, main turrets opening full waves across the armadas, targeting shore defenses and beach groupings.

"Back it up with missile fire."

The submarines surfaced momentarily to let off a salvo of SSCM 17 Dominion missiles, the weapons blasting forth towards army bases and artillery positions of the Atopianans to destroy whatever they could, over five thousand missiles let loose by the three massive armadas in the first wave.

OOC: If you need specifics on an weapon, simply ask, but IC I'm not much of a specs guy, I'd rather tell the story.

Dominion Lands

The bombing run returned to Dominion aibases after the bombing run, oddly accomplished without any air resistance. It was strange, not encountering attacks against either the fighter or bombing force, but the pilots were happy enough. They were refueled and rearmed, preparing to soon enough go back out to return to the task.

Amazonia

In the capital of the Imperial Dominion, Emperor Kyp Droma was busy at the war room when one of his aides quickly interrupted him.

"Message for you, my Lord."

Droma quickly scanned over the message from Count JWolf regarding the team-attack into British Londinium, and to later deal with the two aggressor nations. Quickly, Droma sketched out another response, handing it to his aide to be wired back to JWolf.

I embrace the idea of a two-faction assault to liberate British Londinium and wipe off the Earth these fascist interlopers. Our initial bombing run hit mostly the New Party buildings and facilities in British Londinium, with slight damage to the actual fascist armies. For your sequential bombing run, I will have my naval groups deploy fighters for escort and naval bombers to assist in the attack. In addition, reports are coming in that my navies have reached and are engaging in surface warfare with outer ground defenses of the fascists-apparently, they have some very long-range artillery pieces.
We will take down these aggressors.

"We can't let them find us." a rebel scout said. "It's okay, we can do this." his companion replied. The two of them were rebels, like most of the population. They were in the city for one reason, to gather the few remaining civilians. This was the last rescue mission they would get, because this was the last group to be rescued. The two rebels snuck up to the house, and met the group. "Quickly, the soldiers are coming!", a woman said. The group of thirty ran with all haste, going into the maze like crumbling sewer system. The two scouts lead the group out eventually, and they were back in Rebel Territory, mission succesful.

The Atopians thought the held all of British Londinium. They were wrong. Not long after the Nova Brittonians left the war, three hundred operatives of Secret Operations went in. They unified many of the rebels under their rule and under them, and the rebels began winning territory. The Nova Brittonian leaders organized supply raids, kidnappings of Atopian soldiers, rescue missions, and suicide bombings. They taught the rebels how to make bombs, how to cover your tracks, how to shoot a gun, how to take a man's life, and most importantly how to use terror. The Nova Brittonian leader was Ben La'Eden. He had effectivly organized the British Londinian Secret Operations.

BBC World Service

Further attacks ravaged British Londinium today, when bombs in Northolt killed a New Party regional governor, resulting in the Royal Governor being reinstalled.

The governor announced that the North was free from the rule of the Atopians, and furthered that by stating that the south would soon join the north in freedom.

After an Atopian soldier killed a four-year old girl, a few million British Londinians took up arms and are firing on Atopian soldiers.

OOC: Nova Brittanica, I appreciate the support, but there is no "organised" resistance, besides the Royal Army regiments. He could have his own cell though....

The thousand B-52s were entering the British airspace, their four thousand fighters were ready to fight back any enemy fighter that tried to attack their bigger brothers of the B-52s. Their missiles armed for air-to-air combat, their counter measures ready to be deployed at any time.

The Dominionites moved in and watched as the enemy launched up their fighter to engage them. Oh snap! We going to die!

At the first look at the enemy fighters, the Dominionites moved into many small groups of fifteeen fighter and a few bombers and started locking on the enemy drones. They would be in range soon and would maybe have some help from the Amazonian as the same time.

By last night, six hundred thousand men and women shredded their resignation orders and moved to Waddington, the centre of the resistance.
